  • Joseph's place was beautiful and very secluded from everything else. We ended up renting the tipi which was very worth while! Great place for a group of friends and/or family. The inside of the tent was furnished beautifully and the river next to the property was great for swimming and boating. Joseph was a great host who gave great directions and accommodated us with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxing getaway!

  • This was the perfect experience. Joseph was a great host and the place was like a Sultan's Tent! I would highly recommend a stay here if you get the chance.

  • Great views, great host, great experience! So peaceful and serene!! Can't wait to do it again next summer!

  • What a PERFECT experience to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Joseph has created a little piece of heaven on his property, anticipating everything a group would need to enjoy the experience. Whether you are backcountry campers like John and I, or new to being off-the-grid, you won't regret spending your holiday here. Can't wait to return! Ps. We loved paddling from our car to the tent, floating in the tube down the lazy river, hiking to the rapids, cooking on the fire, napping in the hammock and reading in the lounge chairs. But most of all, we liked spending time inside the beautiful tent!

  • Look no further!! This is the experience you are looking for. Whether on your own, with friends or lover or with the family and dog, Joseph's get away is literally a piece of Heaven on Earth. Spend your days basking in the sun or exploring 160 acres of breath taking forests, landscape and wildlife and delighting in the amazingly fun and beautiful rapids. Everything you need is here. Grab some grub, pack some clothes and go on out. Joseph provides more than you can imagine so that you can truly let go and relax. This experience is great for kids too! The tent reminded us of a Sultans tent. It was comfortable, cozy and magical. All dishes and cookware were there clean and ready for use. The outhouse is clean and maintained daily by Joseph. Drinking and washing water is provided. Firewood awaited use and was plentiful. Attention to detail is truly a gift of Joseph's. You will not find this beauty and privacy with such outstanding service at this price! A rare find. Have no hesitations! This truly is a wonderful experience and a MUST-DO for everyone! My family and I will be back and look forward to making Joseph's place a tradition. Be brace, click BOOK and take and adventure. You will not be disappointed.

  • We had a very nice stay, beginning with a warm welcome and help getting all of our (overpacked) luggage to the tent. Everything was easy- a good mix of 'roughing it' and comfort. We were lucky to have beautiful weather on our full day there, and spent the day canoeing, sitting on the rocks in the river and relaxing. Joseph and his family were very attentive and accommodating to anything we needed- very kind people. My boyfriend, who had never camped before and was therefore a bit uncertain of what to expect, pleasantly surprised me by saying how beautiful the site would be in the winter, and would be up for giving it a try (if this option exists in the future!). Thanks, Joseph, Loakey and family

  • Joe senior and his wife were amazing hosts. we really couldn't have asked for more. We arrived with minimal supplies but were offered eggs, freshly picked veg and were also able to pick wild raspberries from nearby. The tent was set in an idylic setting with a river flowing next to it. With some great infomation from Joe Senior we were lucky enough to spend a few hours watching two beavers build their dam a few hundred metres from the tent. Over all we had a wonderful stay and wish we could have spent longer .

  • Before even starting our weekend Chrissy was keeping us updated on what to bring, fire bans and answering the millions of questions I had. Once getting to her property she welcomed us at the front and gave us a tour of the property, letting us know the best trails, beaches and anything we could use over the weekend. She brought all of our bags/ coolers right to our Cabin which was so helpful. The property and glamping tent was stunning, she had it put together so well with a breath taking view of the lake. She continued to message us through the weekend asking if we needed any extra propane or toiletries. So many great spots for fishing, kayaking and canoeing! I would recommend her little oasis over and over again to anyone needing a little weekend getaway in the middle of nowhere. Exceptional people and property! Thanks again Chrissy!

  • What an amazing piece of paradise. Great accommodations, Chrissy couldn’t have been more sweet and helpful. A retreat for sure.

    Emily2018-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • AMAZING host and place. I was traveling alone and I'm a city gal so was nervous about being in a tent in the wilderness but Chrissy and her partner Mike made my stay spectular. They brought my bags to the tent and we're always just a message away if I needed anything. Chrissy was even lovely enough to walk the trails with me and to take me on my FIRST EVER kayaking adventure. The view of the sunset is so fantastic from the bistro set near the lakefront. The king sized 4 poster bed was so comfortable and I didn't even mind having to use an outhouse - which for a city gal is TOTALLY a thing. The grocery store is about 20 mins away but is open 24 hours so that was helpful. I honestly can't say enough good things about the care and love both Chrissy and Mike have for this property. I'm already thinking of booking my next stay in the fall.

  • We stayed two nights glamping here and had a fantastic time. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. The cabin was charming and the property was breathtakingly beautiful. There are kayaks and canoes for use and many trails to hike throughout the property. If you’re looking to unplug and spend an off grid weekend in nature, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back!

    Carmen2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing experience camping at Chrissy's place! The cabin was very warm and inviting and super comfortable. For anyone looking to get out of the city and de-stress, this is the perfect little getaway for you. Chrissy was incredibly kind and polite and gave us everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back!

Glamping is a luxurious camping experience without the need to have your own gear or the hassle of set up. You can start relaxing the moment you arrive. Glamping is perfect for families, beginner campers or anyone who loves the simplicity of the great outdoors. With our new fully insulated winterized glamping tent, guests can enjoy this unique experience in every season.

In the winter, the wood stove will keep you warm and cozy during your stay and the tent will be heated upon arrival. The interior frame is constructed from wood and there are two bunkie spaces at the top of the tent for sleeping, which is perfect for adults or kids. The glamping is tastefully decorated and has a couch, table, chairs and work space for cooking. The site also has a large deck with a screened in gazebo (for the spring and summer), as well as, Muskoka chairs to lounge in. There is an outdoor fire pit area with chairs and a composting toilet right at the site. The glamping site can accommodate 4-6 people. Nature's Harmony Eco-lodge is situated on 485 acres, overlooking the Laurentian Mountains, and is surrounded by an abundance of nature and wildlife.
  • Very comfortable "glamping" experience in beautiful Mattawa. Exactly what we were looking for. The tent had everything to make my elderly grandfather comfortable (mattress, wood stove, dishes, pots, kettle, etc) but still feel like he can camp. Thank you so much for a great stay!

    Krista2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great time at NaturalHarmony! Jen and Tzach welcomes us warmly and we spend a night at the Glamping-tent. Because of the weather (cold snap in july) Tzach upgrades us of his own accord in a wonderful cabin. It's a phantastic place in the canadien forest, quite nights with a mass of fireflies, wonderful landscape..... Thanks for this experiance!

    Bernd2014-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing unique experience. Very cozy, clean and well cared for. You won’t be sorry.

    Steven2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great experience to be there in the middle of nowhere. Very comfortable, smartly designed, must be a nice escape in the winter time too. Communication with Jen was smooth.

    Anna2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was cozy. The trails beautiful and abundant and the stay was quiet and peaceful. I will return.

  • My boyfriend and I spent two days at Nature's Harmony over the labour day long weekend and had an amazing experience. Jennifer and Tzach were very accommodating and informative from booking to when we left. The glamping tent was spacious, comfortable and clean; there was a wonderful energy about the whole setup. The second night we camped in one of their many great camping spots. We walked two minutes from our spot to a communal area called the Gathering where we laid under the stars and had an amazing view of the night sky. The ecoshowers were lovely as well. There is nothing like a spring water shower to wake up the senses. There is also a beautiful bay on the property where we swam, canoed, and fished. We can't wait to come back in the winter to stay at the Yurt! We had a lovely time. Thank you Jennifer and Tzach.

    Karina2015-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The glamping tent is amazing!! We loved everything about our stay. The tent was very comfortable, the screened in gazebo was perfect, and the hammocks were a nice touch. The best part however is the bay. It is basically a private lake with all the water sport toys you could want! Jennifer and Tzach were great hosts, and took care of everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

  • If you enjoy and respect nature and want a unique way to experience it without having to give up the comfort of a bed or set up a tent to sleep in, then stop searching and book this property! Fred and Steven go to great lengths to ensure their guests are well taken care of and the pride of ownership is obvious from the workmanship of the tent structures to the care of the surrounding property, to the well-appointed tent and cookhouse. Actually to call this a tent is not fair, as it feels so much more majestic than that word implies! Upon booking we were contacted immediately with a friendly welcome, and closer to our date, provided with specifics on meal plans (though we chose to self-cater), very clear directions on how to arrive, and any questions we had were promptly answered. We were met with a very friendly welcome upon arrival, and promptly delivered to our private retreat via a peaceful ride on a raft. We were given a quick tour of the property, instructions on using the water supply etc., and were left to enjoy our time, with any thing we needed just a phone call or text away. We enjoyed canoeing and paddle boarding while we were there, as well as a hike in the woods, a superb evening bonfire and then the peacefulness of a starry night with the sounds of owls in the distance. My only regret is not having booked a third night night (or more). We hope to return next season, or possibly in the winter and now that we have seen the service that is provided first-hand, we might choose some of the meal options to spoil ourselves even further! Thank you Fred!

    Catherine2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our glamping experience was wonderful from beginning to end! Fred is the nicest host, always willing to go out of his way to help in any way he can. He communicated well from the start, answered my many questions and his property is amazing. We had never been camping/glamping, (especially in the winter) and thanks to Fred and his cabin, we had everything we could need and more. The cabin is newly built, the bed was comfortable, he delivered more fire wood that we could have possibly needed. The cook house has a brand new barbecue and all the kitchen utensils and dishes you need. The cabin is stocked with lanterns, water, beautiful chairs to relax by the fire etc. The view is stunning on the water and the feel of being in nature was wonderful. It was quiet and a real pleasure to "ckeck out" of the hustle and bustle of our city lives and decompress and relax. I highly recommend Glamping on Gillean Lake. It was an experience we will never forget and hope to make it back this summer.

    Hayley2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • The experience exceeded my expectations. Quiet, tranquil and beautiful

    Laetitia2018-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • What a great experience! We had a great stay, Steve was very accommodating and was a wealth of knowledge for any questions we had. Would definitely book again!

    Kelsea2018-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fun stay at the yurt we explored the lake in the kayaks and paddle boards it was real relaxing! Firepit ànd fireplace worked great too! My advice is be prepared for the mosquitos bring clip on repellents, citronella candles and a racket zapper for sure! The yurt is real cool and Steve is a great host we wou definitely stay again!

    Ali2018-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is an excellent outdoor retreat, largely due to the amazing service by the host, Fred. The service was very professional, considerate, and courteous. The tent shelter is very well built, clean, and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The location is private, secluded, and peaceful - while at the same time, Fred was always a phone call / a boat ride away... so it really was the best of both worlds. Highly recommended!

  • This past weekend my girlfriend and I stayed at Fred's place. The glamping tent was located just off the water but far enough back for privacy. Steven took us over to our site and explained everything thoroughly, making sure we were comfortable. Everything from drinking water to utensils and plates was supplied. It’s a perfect getaway and we are looking forward to coming back.

We would highly recommend the food package as the quality, quantity and taste were terrific. Our weather was rainy so we didn't get to kayak, but the lake was absolutely stunning. We did some hiking on the property and found peace among the gorgeous trees and natural setting.

  • This place is a gem !! Private, quiet spring fed lake is perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Steven was friendly, helpful and responded quickly if we needed any items replenished. The tent is clean, the bed is comfy and it had all the amenities to make it a true glamping experience. The scenery was breathtaking. Thank you for creating this space to get away from the city. Was a perfect birthday getaway.

  • This is a truly magical place. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place for you. You are immersed in nature and the view from our bed inside the tent was breathtaking. I've been a lot of places in this world and this place is so unique. It is very apparent that Fred takes so much pride in his property. Everything is so well maintained and very clean. Fred will go out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. I snapped my fishing line and within 15 minutes I was offered a new hook. When we ran out of propane a new tank was delivered within 10 minutes. We ordered the meal plan and it was worth it. Our dietary restrictions were accommodated and the food was fresh and prepared with care. Steven was our atv guide and the gentleman that checked us in and showed us our tent and cookhouse. He is kind and funny! We had a great time chatting with him and getting to know him. We highly recommend the atv tour. Steven took us on the ride of our lives, but made sure everything was very safe and that we were comfortable throughout the tour. He kept things exhilarating and challenging, but safety was first. Please don't hesitate to book this gem of a spot. If you like the idea of camping and being close to nature but want to step it up a bit in the comfort department- look no further. You will be well cared for. Highly recommend- and we will be back!!! Thank you for everything Fred, Steven, Brian and Miriam!
