“This is one of the unique places that make the Hammock such a great place. If you love BBQ, don't miss! You will really get an experience eating here! First of all, it's just down the road about a mile south at Bing's Landing, the waterfront park on the Matanzas River, so they have waterfront dining spots available in their screened in porch and gazebo. It's real casual. It's won all kinds of awards. These folks not only make the best BBQ but also have won awards for their many cheesecake flavors. Here's a bit of what they have to say: "Captains BBQ offers some of the best TRUE SOUTHERN BBQ, we only use the best quality meats and ingredients. Our meats and side dishes are slow cooked in our special wood burning smoker. Although smoking is a very slow, time consuming process it is worth every second. The result is moist, juicy meats, infused with a delicious smoked wood flavor." ”
