Best bars in Pacific Beach, San Diego

Burger Joint
$
“My favorite burger in San Diego. Located in the Pacific beach / Mission bay area near sea world its something you can tie into a beach day plan. All american classic, its a no frills pub that only serves booze burgers and fries. The wait to get a table (first come first serve) can be long on certain days or times of the day but its worth it. ”

New American Restaurant

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. I actually prefer this Pacific Beach location but Goldfinch is great too. Dog friendly patio dining or indoor dining, amazing food, terrific bar, street parking with occasional valet service. Brunch EVERY day til 3, then happy hour... dinner... late night happy hour... EVERY day! This does not mean cheap, btw, but it's so worth it!”

“This place is a San Diego legend. WEDNESDAY NIGHT GOLDFISH RACES are absolutely wild and worth it. Solid brunch, always popping off, worst case you can walk to another bar nearby. ”

“If I want quality bar food and a nice view, I tend to always go to The Local. There tends to be a smaller crowd which is nice to enjoy yourself and hear the people next to you as you casually dine and sip a nice brew. I highly recommend the calamari, it's SO good! ”

“A favorite local restaurant and microbrew. It's close and it's good. It turns into a busier bar scene at night, especially on the weekends. I order the kebab plate and whatever Hazy IPA sounds good for the moment.”

“Solid bar, but perhaps best known for their bottomless mimosas on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Great place to start in Pacific beach if you wanna spend your whole day there. ”

“Probably the most popular bar in Pacific beach at the moment, make sure you get there early on Friday + Saturday night or else you'll wait in a long line. Lots of space and five bars, good place for meeting people and ending the night. Make sure to get out and into an uber home by 1:30 though! Uber prices double at 2 am when all the bars close. ”
