Pub
“A hidden gem very popular with students and locals. Good food. Some outside space. From the bottom of Broad St (Opposite end to George St/Waterstones book shop) see the historic college bridge (the Bridge of Sighs) at the beginning of Queen’s Lane. By this bridge, see a small walkway on your left - follow this to find the pub. ”

Thai Restaurant
“Oli's Thai is incredible, but it has a massive waiting list. If you haven't booked ahead (it can take anything up to three months) then it might be worth your while turning up at the beginning of a lunch service (just before 12) or just before seven and seeing if they have any cancellations. Their lunch is often easier to get into as well. They are lovely. The food there is superb and very reasonably priced, given its success. It is on Magdalen Rd, turn right out of the door, take the first left and then the next right. ”
