Diner

“Notting Hill feels like it should have a good old fashioned diner, and it does. The Electric isn’t cheap, but it’s a great shout no matter what time you’re in the area. There’s an all-day breakfast menu from 8am which is generally very satisfying, and a solid selection of uncomplicated but delicious food for a really hearty dinner. The flat iron chicken and a double cheese burger should at the very least be on your table, but the mac and cheese is the only side worth a fiver. Even if you aren’t making use of the cinema here, most of the food is worth making a journey for – especially without the 50% off if you’ve got a cinema ticket for next door. ”

Sushi Restaurant
$$$$
“Probably the best Sushi and cocktails in London, with incredible views of all of London on top of a sky scraper. This is a top level restaurant so expect to book in advance if at the weekend and for it to be busy. If you want to splash out, this place is well worth it. Around a 30 min walk or short bus ride from the flat.”
