This is Lot #24 Enjoy this tiny home on the grounds at Borrego Holiday Homes! This is a cozy little spot that looks out onto the mountains at Anza-Borrego State Park.
Borrego Holiday Homes is a beautiful RV and Park Model community with great views of the surrounding mountains.
  • New tiny home. Clean and comfy with a loft in addition to the single bedroom. An adult cannot stand up in the loft, but it is fine as an extra sleeping area. Nice sully shaded carport so can park right next to the unit. Lovely mountain view from the living area patio door slider. Nice little "patio" deck not pictured in the listing.

  • We loved our stay at the Tiny House. The perfect size with good amenities and plenty of storage. The RV community is welcoming and friendly. The views of the desert and mountains are lovely. Perfect location near town and State Park Information Center. We so enjoyed riding our road bikes among the sculptures and beyond. Also, some good hikes nearby. We would highly recommend the Tiny House for a great stay in Borrego.

  • Sweet tiny home with well thought out spaces. Never felt crowded.

  • A comfortable and peaceful place to stay in Borrego Springs. Very conveniently located near town and also the Anza Borrego state park visitor center. The mobile home community where the home is located was quiet and friendly, with nice views and amenities. Would happily stay here again.

    Sharon2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Tiny house was truly amazing! We will be back for sure. Thank you.

    Miguel2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • A really great stay in the tiny home. It was clean, comfortable cozy and had everything we needed. It's an easy mile walk into town and it is close to the visitor center, hikes and the sculptures. We decided to drive over to check out Salvation Mountain, Slab City and The Salton Sea. Wacky and weird but interesting.

    Liz2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • This location is very convenient to many local attractions whether they be outdoor sculptures or trails in Anza-Borrego State Park. In Borrego Springs there is a local non-profit Nature Center that offer many programs throughout the week. Be sure to check their schedule for night sky, hiking or morning bird walks. And if you want to simply sit back and relax, from the deck , the views of the mountains to the west just can’t be beat.

    Jennifer2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • I can agree with everyone else, it’s an awesome and “sparkling clean” spot! My girlfriend and I absolutely loved staying here. We will be back.

Safe, clean and relaxing get away in trying times. The casita is private, set apart from the main house. The property is remote enough to see the Milky Way and experience absolute quiet, yet a short drive to trails. Close enough for quick food delivery options. Small kitchenette for light cooking,coffee/tea. Private patio. No TV, but a good WiFi signal. The main house is an art studio/owner’s home. We are detail cleaning all surfaces, linens and handles with disinfectant for your safety.
Seven acre property with guest casita on one side and host’s home and studio on the other. Both the casita and studio are straw bale construction. Toaster oven, single burner, kettle, small fridge for light meal prep. A short trip to town for food pickup or delivery. Each building is facing toward its own spectacular view. The casita is completely private, all you will see out the windows are jack rabbits and beautiful landscape. There is a seating area just outside the back door of the casita for wonderful desert quiet and view. Safest and most relaxing get away we can think of in tough times.
The property is located near the state park in a residential area with large properties. Three miles from restaurants and shops in the town and close to trails. A car is necessary wherever you are staying in Borrego.
  • The perfect place for a quiet respite. Comfortable with great views of Borrego and surrounding mountains. I hope to come back soon.

  • Charming and private attached casita that's not too far away from Borrego Springs, but because of its seclusion, feels miles away from everything. A couple of things to know about this place: read the directions on how to find the place carefully - don't just put the address into your GPS; it will steer you wrong. It can be challenging to find a night because it is off a dirt road and there are no street lights to speak of. The room has all the essentials, including a mini-fridge and small toaster oven - good for snacks but that's about it. The bed is a double, not a queen - no big deal, just an FYI for those used to spreading out. The mattress is very firm - good for some, but may be too firm for those expecting soft and fluffy hotel-style mattresses. The WIFI is perfectly good. The shower can get quite hot and has plenty of water pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Carolanne place is perfect for a desert getaway! The views right out the window are stunning and so easy to get to for a hike. Carolanne was super responsive for hiking suggestions as well as all the other questions I needed answered. We will be back for sure!

    Kim2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The view from the large windows of the mountains were what I wanted. The open space as well. I use to own a house down the street from here so I knew what to expect and was the reason I booked it. Thank you Carolanne

    Randy2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at this unique casita. It's small, basic, and a little pricey but worth it for the gorgeous setting and mountain and desert views. It's close to town and hiking trails in the state park. I would stay again.

    James2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a view!! Comfy clean quiet dark (with lights off of course). Great place to visit.

    Luba2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This fortress is the perfect place to get away from all the noise. From sitting out watching humming birds with your morning coffee to star gazing in the evening - this quiet kingdom is an ideal base for a few days hiking or simply hiding away! Fully recommended! ✌️❤️🚀

    Michael2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This casita is quiet and calming. We looked at the stars then woke up the next morning and saw the sunrise. We ate at El Borrego and Kesling’s Kitchen. Both were delicious.

Cactus and Stars is a desert modern duplex close to town. The renovated property has great views of the mountains and stars, as well as a fun and relaxing yard. The residential neighborhood is one block from Christmas Circle and the restaurants and shops along Palm Canyon Rd and is proximate to the new library and other services. Follow us on Instagram @cactusandstars to stay up to date with our latest additions.
The home is furnished with a mix of vintage and new furnishings that compliment the mid century lines of the home and the yard has many relaxing seating areas, a bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, BBQ and outdoor fireplace. Many items have been in our family for years or custom made for the space and help make this a comfortable and special place for us to spend time with friends and family. We hope you enjoy it as well.
The immediate community is a mix of older homes and duplexes as well as undeveloped desert land. Most homes are occupied by families and we find it to be a safe and comfortable community. The neighbors do enjoy spending time outside barbecuing, recreating especially during the cooler winter months. If noise is ever an issue please feel free to let them know or contact us and we will pass along the message.
  • The house is as described and pictured. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, dishes pots and pans for cooking and eating. The outdoor grill was clean and ready to go. The beds very comfortable. We ( a group of four) were impressed with the thoughtful touches that made this a good base to explore Anza Borrego Park.

    Bill2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay and use as a home base to explore Anza. The desert is beautiful, but it's so relaxing to come back here at the end of the day to rinse out the dust and cozy up with the records, fire, or games. Absolutely loved it! We were two couples and it was a perfect size and layout. Once the second part of the duplex is finished it would make an awesome stay for a slightly larger group as well. We'll be back for sure!

    Tiffany2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific place! Great location. Wonderful hosts. Within the first hour or so of entering the home, I quickly took note and appreciated all the effort that had been put into making this Airbnb an amazing place that has heart and makes you feel welcome. The home offers indoor and outdoor games, front and back areas to relax, a record player (and records!), and so much more that I wasn't able to check out as I spent most of my time in the park. I recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area while being close to town. At the time of the rental in Feb 2020, the unit next door was empty/under renovation so there was no one else on the property. One note worth mentioning... the shower head is 5+ feet high, so if you're tall then this may be an issue for you.

    Ben2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and minutes away from Anza Borrego State Park and Ocotillo Wells! If you want to rent dirt bikes or ATV’s, I would recommend Mūy Rapido. The guy there is a one stop shop. Repairs, personal vehicles and has been in the business for 20 years and really took his time getting us set up. The Airbnb is in a small desert neighborhood and next to a home with a family and young children that like to spend their afternoons and evenings outside. The noise is not too noticeable except for the one bedroom closet to their yard. Matt & Aubyn provided ear plugs if needed. The kitchen is well stocked for meal prep and cooking. Matt was kind enough to provide milk/milk alternative for our coffee/tea. If you’re visiting the area, I would recommend Matt & Aubyn’s place! It was perfect for the two of us!

    Ash2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • A great desert home with all the right touches. All around satisfied with the location, amenities and special touches like coffee on hand, grill access, a great back yard with bocce and horseshoes, and fireplace under the stars. A special place for sure. Thank you.

    Drew2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • I came out with a friend for a girl’s retreat. Cactus & Stars was the perfect place to relax and reset. Matt & Aubyn provided the perfect outdoor spaces to write, meditate, read, and gaze at the stars. The first night we sat around the mid-century fireplace in the front yard and gazed at the stars. The next morning we watched the sunrise from the backyard. We ate breakfast at the wood slab dining table in the front yard and had a mid-morning yoga session by the palo verde tree. This house is immaculate and the details are wonderful. The kitchen is well appointed and provides you with all that you need to make meals during your stay. There is a bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, and outdoor Jenga. If you feel like playing poker, putting together a puzzle, reading a book, or scorpion hunting they have what you need. I highly recommend scorpion hunting with the scorpion flashlights at night. They also have a telescope for stargazing. I absolutely love this property. I can't wait for my next visit.

    Apryl2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in Borrego Springs and appreciated the location and convenience of Matt & Aubyn’s place. We enjoyed the retro record player and thought the place was tastefully outfitted with classy and comfortable furnishings. Best of all was the ability to sit around a toasty fireplace on a clear but chilly evening enjoying the night sky. Horseshoe pitch in the backyard was great. All in all a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to book again if I have the opportunity to visit Borrego Springs at a future date.

    David2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had never been to Borrego Springs and it was insanely lovely! This Airbnb reflects that beauty wonderfully and we would want to stay here everytime we visit! Being able to grill out and enjoy a fire under the stars were incredible perks

Fully renovated in 2018, this house features gorgeous views and sits on the famed Rams Hill golf course. Guests have full access to amenities including two pools, hot tub, tennis court & pickleball court. There is an excellent restaurant located in the community & Borrego Springs town is only 5-10 minutes away. The home is a great getaway for golfers, hikers or anyone wanting to enjoy the serenity of Borrego Springs.
  • Beautiful space with a gorgeous view from the patio. Only 15 minute drive into downtown. Internet was a little slow, but everything else was perfect.

  • Great place on 4th hole of Ram's Hill; comfortable, spacious and well appointed. A great "home away from home" in Anza Borrego.

Desert Sands Vintage RV Park est. 1960 and is the oldest RV park in Borrego Springs which has mostly vintage trailers, some of the best landscaping for miles, breathtaking views, epic sunsets, bright starry nights and happy guests. If you've ever wanted to stay in a vintage trailer park, this is the place. The pool is warm year round. Borrego Springs has warm sunny weather year round so if you love the outdoors you will enjoy staying here. We have guests that have been coming back for years.
Please read my reviews and the kind words guests have written about this vintage trailer location. If this trailer is booked on the dates you need please check my 10 other trailer listings in the same vintage trailer park. A/C FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS + NICE POOL AND JACUZZI AND WARM HEATER FOR WINTER "Cabo" is an aluminum trailer that is open and spacious inside with a very nice outdoor chill area. We have given "Cabo" a colorful Mexican flair. There is lots of storage for your belongings. The bathroom has a toilet and stand up shower. You can prepare awesome meals in the kitchen. It sits on its own corner space close to the open desert in the cool shade of our solar panel. The trailer has many windows and has a very airy feeling with spectacular views of the mountains from the living room and bedroom. Even though to the untrained eye the desert looks dry and desolate, once you spend a night in the middle of it all you may hear the howl of a coyote in the distance, in the morning you might wake up to the sounds of different kinds of birds, while sitting outside drinking your morning coffee you'll see rabbits, humming birds, lizards etc. At the center of the vintage trailer park is a pool, Jacuzzi, laundry room and Tikki Hut with wifi - once you make your reservation I will provide you the wifi info. We normally try to leave some snacks and treats for our guests so please help yourself and enjoy your stay.
Desert Sands RV Park is just a stroll to Anza Borrego State Park, the largest in the state , art and culture, restaurants, bars and dining, great views, and the rustic artsy town of Borrego Springs that doesn't even have a traffic light or any big chain stores. There are numerous golf resorts within a 5 mile radius. There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, road biking, off roading close by, mountain views, and points of interest. The state run visitor center us just up the street and has many interesting things regarding life in the prehistoric desert.
  • Truly it is glamping. The trailer has all the amenities and most trailers I have stayed in do not. Super cute place and the people are nice. Highly recommended

    Peter2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This little "glamping" trailer in Borrego Springs was wonderful. The trailer was clean and well-appointed and the park is in a great location. The host, Warren was exceptional and very friendly and responsive in his communication. I would highly recommend staying here.

    Carolyn2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a delightful stay in the trailer and everything was almost perfect. Our only real complaint was the lack of a handle on the hot water faucet in the shower which we did not discover until bedtime the first night. Fortunately, we had the number for an onsite person who could help us and he came immediately. Everything else was cozy, comfortable and convenient and we would definitely return. Perfect place to explore Anza Borrego from.

    Mimi2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very inspiring place, a wonder spot to rest after a god day of hiking or stargazing.

    César2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Clean place in a cool trailer park. Warren was quick to to respond to any questions we had.

    Jason2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Warren's "Glamper" was the perfect spot to stay for our Anza Borrego vacation. We were 5 min away from the top attractions in the city and 25 min away from Ocotillo Wells. The stay was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities listed in the post. Warren communicated with me during our entire trip to ensure we fully accommodated!

    Amanda2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This camper is in a beautiful location - I brought my kids and service dog: I was charged a extra cleaning fee when dog hair was found in the camper - but I get it. I do think the hosts were great with communicating and were fair - would recommend to any friend or family member!

    Deborah2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabo was a great place for us to stay while in Borrego springs. We especially liked the patio at night. We had everything we needed and would come back again. Thanks Warren!

    Joni2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I was participating in a wolf event at the California Wolf Center and needed to be there very early in the morning, so I had to spend the night in the Julian area. I found Mario's place and thought it would be perfect for me. The bed is comfortable, there are plenty of viewing options on the TV. I know there's a gorgeous view but the weather conditions when I was there were rain, fog and wind storm so unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it! Maybe next time. I would definitely come back to Mario's place for another stay.

Roomy, well-appointed 21-foot travel trailer located on our peaceful 1.25 acres. Our town is surrounded by the dramatic Anza Borrego State Park. Enjoy mountain and meadow views and night sky viewing from the rooftop deck. Your porch faces our quiet dirt road and offers complete privacy from our home located behind it. Close to hiking trails, bird-watching, and spectacular vistas. Just 15 mins to Ocotillo Wells for off-roaders. We accommodate groups with additional rigs/tents. Ask about details.
Borrego Springs is surrounded by the largest state park, Anza Borrego State Park. It's a nature lovers paradise. Listen to the birds sing and coyotes howl in the distance. Our property is less than a mile from the park's border where you'll enjoy being only 7 minutes frm the center of town with restaurants, galleries, shops, etc. Close enough, but not too close.
  • Beautiful, peaceful, and convenient location, it is the perfect base camp to explore the vast Anza Borrego region. Shelley is a kind and wonderful host! The RV was incredibly comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything you would possibly need and more. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feed on the porch at sunset after a long day hiking. Also hope to make use of the viewing deck for stargazing next time! I loved my stay and truly look forward to returning, thank you so much for sharing this gem!

    Kyle2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • My brother and I never had an overnight stay inside a trailer. However, at the end of our stay, we were impressed what our host Shelly has put together for her Airbnb recipients. A traveller can expect comfy beds, water in the fridge, coffee out front, soap and shampoo in the bathroom, WiFi, a heater, and extra blankets for those cooler nights. Ok. One could argue that’s standard for an Airbnb. But here’s the kicker: It’s the outdoor experience outside from the trailer that makes staying at this place a unique experience, and central to enjoying the desert life in Borrego Springs. There’s a fire pit available to enjoy a campsite fire plus access to the rooftop to gaze at the beautiful night sky. Did I mentioned the swimming pool also? The traveller will also notice picnic tables and chairs. It’s is my opinion if an individual, couple, or small family wants to experience a true Borrego Springs lifestyle, this is the ticket!

    Angelo2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the accommodations. Shelley has the place set up very nicely. We loved stargazing on the sky deck, playing scrabble (she has board games in the RV) and watching the hummingbirds feed outside the RV. Should we come back to the area, we’d love to stay here again!

    Alexandra2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The RV was as described- clean, comfortable, and surprisingly roomy. It’s a good spot for sitting outside and watching hummingbirds. Well furnished kitchen for cooking. No complaints.

    Sharon2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Super hospitality. Clean cozy space. Great location if you want to chill out. Interesting things to do in and around Borrego Springs. A firepit to enjoy starry nights. Much more.

    Jeff2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at Shelley's place for 3 days and it was a very peaceful getaway. We really enjoyed the privacy of the place. The trailer is well equipped and sparkly clean. I would recommend it if you want to go hiking, relax and enjoy the desert scenery.

    Laurence2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Shelley’s space is awesome. Located centrally between Anza Borrego and Ocotillo Wells, this is the perfect base camp for all of you desert adventures. The place is tastefully designed and meticulously maintained. Shelley goes out of her way to explain things and make you feel comfortable during your stay. It is quiet at night and the stargazing is spectacular. For the price, you couldn’t ask for anything more!

  • Groovy grammy trailer. Nice flat walks around a well maintained golf course. Very warm pool and hot tub. Lots of friendly Canadians around. Close to town and the red Ocotillo. Recommended.

    Lilly2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jayleen's place is located in probably the most beautifully landscaped residential community in Borrego Springs. It is a pleasure to see all the remarkable specimens of cactus and other desert species. The community also offers a hot tub, salt-water pool, gym, golf course, tennis and pickle ball courts and more. The rental is a 60's or 70's vintage double-wide manufactured home. It is showing some wear and tear but we enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed, all appliances were in good working order, the bed was comfortable and Jayleen stocked an ample supply of necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, ice, pots, pans, cutlery, towels, linens, etc., etc.). What we enjoyed most was having lunch in the small yard where we could watch a variety of birds: finches, warblers, verdins, doves, mockingbirds, bluebirds.

Enjoy a very private, spacious house, featuring a large patio with pool, a rooftop deck (unfinished but accessible), stylish western decor, large screen TV with movie collection, modern kitchen, and 2 bedrooms with an additional room with 2 pull out couches. One of the best places to view the Milky Way in Southern California!
A rural neighborhood but with amenities close by. Lots of space & privacy.
  • Had a great time. It is an great location for both hiking Palm Canyon and heading in to dinner after a day of hiking.

  • We were lucky to find this mid-century gem! The location in "downtown" Borrego Springs was perfect, the house was spacious and had a great view. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean, and it was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be coming back for next year's wildflower bloom.

  • The house is really spacious and well equipped, and is set in a quiet neighbourhood. Communication and checkin were seamless. The swimming pool was sparkling clean too. The location is perfect for visiting anza Borrego Park. In short, we loved it and would very much recommend it.

"GumDrop" is a 13 ft. Tear Drop trailer all hand crafted out of wood, metal and aluminum. The interior has two closets and some shelves. There are doors on both sides of the trailer so that you don’t have to climb over your partner to exit the trailer. At the back of the trailer there is a hatch back that opens up to reveal the cute kitchen with sink where you can make basic meals, prepare coffee, tea etc Included is a propane burner to prepare meals. Located right in the edge of the desert
Please read my reviews and the kind words guests have written about this location. If this trailer is booked I have multiple listings on Airbnb in the same vintage trailer park. The trailer is sitting in a very cool rustic artsy vintage park - Desert Sands Vintage RV Park est. in 1960 and is the oldest RV park in Borrego Springs which has mostly vintage trailers, some of the best landscaping for miles, breathtaking views, epic sunsets, bright starry nights and happy guests. If you've ever wanted to stay in a cool vintage trailer, this is heaven. The pool is warm year round. Borrego Springs has warm sunny weather year round so if you love the outdoors you will enjoy staying here. We have guests that have been coming back for years. It sits on its own space right on the edge of the open desert about 200 yds from the pool, Jacuzzi, bathrooms, public showers and laundry room. There is a mini deck for chilling out behind the trailer with some chairs. There is also a fire pit. The trailer has 2 windows and has a very airy feeling when the ceiling fan is turned on. We suggest hanging out by the pool or staying in the shade during the warmer months because during the day it might get warm inside the trailer. Spectacular views of the mountains on three sides. Even though to the untrained eye the desert looks dry and desolate, once you spend a night in the middle of it all you may hear the howl of a coyote in the distance, in the morning you might wake up to the sounds of different kinds of birds, while sitting outside drinking your morning coffee you might see rabbits, humming birds, lizards, coyotes, roadrunners etc. Borrego Springs is a dark sky community meaning there are no bright white lights and people use deep orange lights on homes and buildings so that the stars and moon can shine as bright as possible. Stargazers come from all over the world to view the incredible night sky in Borrego Springs
The state park visitors center is just up the street with an interactive museum that shows how life was in the area millions of years ago. Its a must see!! There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, road biking, off roading close by, mountain views, and points of interest.
  • Very cool spot! Easy to get to and very relaxing

    Cessily2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Phantastic desert view from lovley vintage trailer. Very quiet. Nice community, heated pool and jacuzzi for stargazing. Best hikes in the desert park possible. Will always come back to this magic place on earth.

    Judith2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The gumdrop trailer is located at the edge of the vintage RV park with incredible mountain views! Warren was available if needed, but everything we needed was already provided! I only wish we had stayed longer, so much to explore in the area!

  • Great place to spend a weekend getaway!

    Thao2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • As a seeker of alternative lodging during my travels, this was up there as one my favorites. The accommodation is a special experience in itself, but the greater site community and the surrounding landscape made our stay here truly exceptional.

    Roy2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • First time ever sleeping in a Teardrop & really liked it. Even with heat, which obviously I knew about it, it was a good stay. Exactly what I wanted. Quite, calm & enough for me alone. Had a great experience cooking on the open with the desert view. The pool and bathrooms were perfect. I was a little bummed that the light string on top of the camping area was not working but still a cool place to relax. Went alone and still felt safe and comfy.

  • We really enjoyed staying here. We walked to the pool and restaurant in Rams Hill and had a great time. The condo has a wonderful view of the mountains.

  • The views are amazing from the backyard viewing deck. This place was quiet, clean, and gorgeous. Kerin communicated with us prior to our arrival to ensure we would be comfortable and asked if we needed anything. I truly fell in love with the place. We will definitely be coming back to stay.

  • My 2nd time renting an Airbnb in Borrego Springs, and definitely my favorite. The house was 100% perfect: incredible views off the back patio, well equipped kitchen, thoughtfully laid out living room, extremely comfortable bed, very convenient garage to keep the car out of the sun, fun vintage bikes to go cruise around the neighborhood, and the nearby pool that’s very nicely heated. Host was quick to respond and very helpful in offering to bring by Keurig pods and brought an air pump for the bike tires. The houses are grouped together quite closely, but there’s still a feeling of total serenity and privacy. We observed a good scene of wildlife in the backyard: rabbits, lizards, and we even watched a coyote trot by after dark! The location is convenient to town, about 10 minutes north to the town center with shops and eateries. Borrego Palm Canyon and Maidenhair Falls are 2 super epic hikes nearby. I give this Airbnb 10/10. Highly recommend. Definitely one of Borrego’s best.

Welcome to Mimi's little farm! Detached ensuite cozy room with a Queen bed. Private bathroom.Private entrance with key. Private patio with picnic table. Access to private hiking trail with impressive desert views. Enjoy nature & fresh air away from the noisy city!
We do not have kitchen facilities but we do have a fridge in your room if you want to keep your food/drinks cold. There is also a toaster, electric kettle and a French Press to make coffee. There is coffee/tea/drinking water in the room for your use. Unfortunately, campfires or not permitted due to the high fire danger of the area. Please be aware that if you are very tall/large you may find the shower small. The toilet is a composting toilet. It is electric & has a vent that goes through the roof & there is where the smell will go to. If you want to know more about the toilet & make sure you will be comfortable using it, please look it up online before you book. There is no flushing. It kind of gives you the feel of a pit toilet if you know what i mean.... but without the flies or the smell! There are a bunch of videos on youtube. Just type "Envirolet composting toilet" and familiarize with it to make sure you'll be ok using a composting toilet. And another important thing to be aware of. We have att... and we are at the end of the line. That means it is pretty slow...
You won't see or hear any neighbors from our property , that is why we fell in love with it! Our property is 40 acres and we back to the BLM so you feel like you are all alone, but town is just 2 miles away . You can walk around our quiet neighborhood although there are nothing else than houses & the mountain To get to our place you will drive through our neighbors houses & some of them have kids that sometimes play on the street so, please, respect them by not driving too fast & not exceed the residential speed limit. Thank you.
  • This place is the best!!! Cute goat farm at the end of the road with beautiful stars at night, and great views during the day. We were greeted by goats each morning and even fed them too! Mimi gave us great tips for hikes and for littler eateries in town! She even gave us fresh farm eggs to take home!

    Kristin2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Mimi's farm is a great place to stay if you want to get to know Julian longer than just the average afternoon trip. The hosts were helpful by pointing us to a great place in town to eat (Julian Beer Co) and by writing very detailed directions on finding their place. If you plan on staying here, you will definitely enjoy the great views and the feeling of being close to nature. Overall a great stay. Thanks for having us.

  • We had a great time at Mimi‘s place. The location is great and there was everything we needed. It‘s a super tiny house, but well equipped. The only thing is that it got really cold at night. The bedroom has a very small heater, but the bathroom/shower was still pretty cold. But defintetely recommend it!

    Zarah2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • The night view is amazing! There are many great places to hike near by, even one right behind Mimi's place. And expect to receive a morning greet from a herd of curious goats!

  • Super cozy and fun place to stay. I loved it :)

  • This place is an absolute gem! The farm is beautiful and the goats are a lot of fun to meet. Mimi gave us lots of advice on local spots to try. Definitely made the trip to Julian special. I would make the trip just to visit and stay at her farm again. I'll be telling all of my friends about this place!

  • Large room with a comfy bed. The deck was a nice spot to have a beverage. The jacuzzi was a big plus, especially after a day of sightseeing.

    Julie2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Was a bit confused because there were no check in instructions, however the other reviews helped me identify it’s the same as a hotel check in. We were running ahead of schedule so we reached out to Tony regarding early check in. We never received a response so we just went to the front desk. Turns out there was no record of my reservation. This wasn’t much of a problem because the front desk was incredibly helpful and got us in the room early, no questions asked. Once we were in the hotel room it was great. The pool was relaxing, bed was comfy, and room was clean.

    Melanie2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • We just completed a week-long stay at the Santa Rosa Getaway, Tony’s place in The Borrego Springs Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The suite is spacious, and we managed well with the small fridge, microwave, and small sink, prepped very simple meals. The room was clean, comfortable, and adequately supplied. Anything we needed by way of coffee, towels, tissue, or cups was supplied by housekeeping. The place may be older, but didn’t seem run down, at all. Everything was in good shape. Check-in was seamless, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the fresh coffee in the mornings and the ice water in the reception area. Tony and his staff are trying to give new life to the resort, working hard and doing a great job of maintaining the grounds and rooms. Unfortunately for some, the golf course is no longer operational. I think water is a supreme issue, and a lot of development in Borrego Springs has suffered. We didn’t mind that there was no golfing, and were delighted to take long walks and bike rides on all the former golf cart trails, where we enjoyed seeing the local wildlife—coyotes, rabbits, quail, all sorts of waterfowl on the still-full ponds. We really appreciated the complementary use of the bikes! We didn’t use the pool, but enjoyed the hot tub almost every evening. For some reason our key card cards stopped working quiet often—I hope they can get that issue resolved, as it was rather inconvenient. Internet, which was slow at first, came on strong after a couple days. Local internet in an isolated location is often inconsistent. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Tony!

  • Located in the Borrego Springs Resort, the king bedroom suite (separate bedroom and living room area, small kitchen counter with mini fridge) is spacious with easy access to the outdoor pool and hot tub. The decor is a bit dated but the room was clean, comfy and a great value for 2 people. The room was also serviced daily. We've stayed in this resort twice so far and this time we had breakfast at the on-site restaurant the Arches which was enjoyable. Thanks again Tony for a great stay!!

    Debbie2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

  • Our family has a lovely stay. Clean, well set-up, good location, quiet complex. Often had the pool to ourselves. Note: if bringing young kids, bring a lifejacket. Shallow end of pool is 3’ and can’t get one or even water wings in town, so we spent a lot of time in the pool keeping our youngest happy and safe. Also, pool towels not provided. The home was clean, had great towels and comfy bedding. Loved being able to walk out of the back of the complex into the desert and down to the beautiful library. Did 5 different desert hikes in 5 days- there are so many great options! Note- the Palm canyon hike (most popular/famous in this area) is closed due to a fire. Driving to the sculptures was fun too.

  • My stay at Anthony’s lake house in Salton City was great. The views truly are beautiful as it felt great to be secluded. I enjoyed wine at night with beautiful sunsets and coffee/ hot chocolate in the morning to beautiful sunrises. I cooked my entire Christmas dinner in the kitchen which was helpful with all the cookware, enjoyed Christmas movies and music. Although it was just myself, I can say this is the place for entertaining as well. If you’re alone then you really get the quietness and serenity needed. I will definitely stay here again. Lastly, I agree with Anthony, this place is not for the faint of heart. I like luxury but don’t value it 24/7. I’m good with simplicity as well which is why this place worked for me. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did!

Our beautiful Mid-Century Modern home in the De Anza Country Club is situated directly against the Anza Borrego Desert for stunning vistas. Enjoy the pool on hot days or stargaze from the bubbling spa. The house is filled with art, antiques, and luxury creature-comforts. Borrego Springs is surrounded by 600,000 acres of pristine State Park land.
We spent years hoping to find a vintage house in the De Anza Country Club on this particular block situated at the foot of Indian Head Mountain. One can take a short walk to the golf course, yet this private and peaceful setting overlooks the stunning Anza Borrego Desert. One day we just got lucky. The beloved home had been in private ownership with only two owners since it was built in 1960. The house brought an instant offer by a cash buyer, but we loved the place so much that we wrote to the 100-year-old gentleman who owned it. We explained that we had a deep love of historic homes. We had renovated others which are now State Historic Landmarks. We endeavored to renovate historic accuracy rather than remodel, which to us diminishes the history and character of the home. He allowed us to buy this treasure. After we completed the renovation, we filled the home with antiques and art collected from our travels around the world. Many of the art objects are spiritual in nature and reflect many different cultures. We struggled with finding a name that evokes the personality of the place and finally decided to call it "The Hummingbird Haven of Borrego Springs." So many of these little gem birds flock to the property to sip nectar from the old and myriad desert plants -- both our Anza Borrego native, the Costa Hummingbird, and other migratory visitors. In traditional cultures all over the world, the Hummingbird symbolizes something magical. For example in Native American cultures, they are seen as healers and bringers of love, good luck, and joy. Yes, that evokes the spirit of this house and setting. Once the treasured house was finished, we had the honor of bringing the former owners in for a stay. It meant the world to us when and they wrote us a beautiful letter about how touched and pleased they were with what we did. We hope all guests will feel the same. This enclave of lovely homes is only a five-minute drive to downtown Borrego Springs where you might enjoy many excellent restaurants or stroll through art galleries. The Anza Borrego Desert is the second largest state park in California and hiking there is an experience of a lifetime. The spacious home has two bedrooms, two baths, a formal dining room and kitchen, a laundry room, a living room with a large fireplace, and a huge glass-enclosed family room that takes in the stunning desert and mountain vistas. The bedrooms both have Cal King beds with brand new high-end mattresses (incredibly comfortable) and luxury bedding. A bath goes along with each bedroom. We placed a luxury leather reclining chair and queen sofa sleeper with upgraded jell mattress in the family room for extra guests. We added many native plants to the already gorgeous property. Dive into the pool for cooling off during hot summer days, or soak under the stars in our Hot Springs spa. Enjoy cooking in the retro kitchen (with all new appliances) or outside on the propane Weber grill. Enjoy our indoor/outdoor stereo speaker system with Bluetooth to connect to your iPhone, or dance back in time to our large collection of vintage records. Curl up in a comfy chair or sofa and read from our libraries of books. For those who enjoy working out, the stay includes the use of a full gym. AMENITIES Brand new appliances: Refrigerator Washer/dryer Dishwasher Stove/oven Microwave Countertop toaster oven Ice-maker Snowcone maker (for the kids, or for your margaritas). Outdoor Weber grill Wall-mounted large screen TV in the family room Wall-mounted TV in the master bedroom Direct TV Wifi/high-speed internet Hot Springs spa, with water jet back massage. Enjoy!
This is a fabulous and high-end neighborhood with gorgeous houses and landscaping. It is located on the De Anza Country Club and Golf Course... a vintage desert Oasis resort that has just been renovated!
  • We had a lovely stay. Everything was very nice and made us happy!

    Sarah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tamara's Hummingbird Haven was an incredibly wonderful spot to stay while visiting Barrego Springs! The house was super comfortable, the beds were huge and also very comfortable, the pool was sparkling beautiful, although too cold for February swims, the hot tub was good and hot and perfect for star gazing, we felt very happy there and highly recommend it. The location is spectacular...out of town 5-8 minutes, right at the edge of the desert with side canyons to explore without having to drive anywhere.

    Julie2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The aptly-named Hummingbird Haven was just the getaway retreat we needed. Driving onto the De Anza Golf Resort (where the house is located) was like a mirage in the desert. The house was easy to find (I suggest you arrive while there’s still daylight) and is just as pictured. The neighborhood is really safe and incredibly quiet. There’s hiking virtually right outside the house. It was too chilly to enjoy the pool, but the hot tub was incredible. We didn’t see any animals but plenty of hummingbirds. Loved waking up in the morning and drinking coffee while gazing out into the desert from the wall of windows in the family room. Tammy is an amazing host, who is incredibly generous, responsive and attentive. I plan on experiencing her cabin in Julian sometime soon.

    Evelyn2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Tamara’s place is absolutely wonderful. The house is as described but being there is amazing. It borders the park. My husband and I crossed the back fence and walked for an hour without seeing a single soul. It’s also so great to have king beds, quality linens and a comfortable sleeper sofa. Hummingbird Haven was food for body, mind and spirit.

  • Tamara is a wonderful host - thoughtful, kind, responsive, and provides a lovely space to enjoy the magic of the desert! The house is beautiful (and spotless) with many tasteful and interesting pieces of art from all over the world. Each room has loving touches which create a peaceful and relaxing environment. We thoroughly enjoyed her eclectic library - really great books about the history and peoples of the area, mid-century art and architecture (which the house is faithful to), and other interesting and thought provoking topics. Another really great feature was the record player and record collection - with the great sound system available we had a blast listening and dancing as we sang our way down memory lane (60's and 70's stuff!) The location of the house is amazing - right on the edge of the desert nothing but excellent views of the desert landscape and surrounding mountains. You can step out the backyard and keep walking for hours and never see another person. We were greeted each morning with birdsong and cottontails - wonderful! We used the spa both early morning and evening for the stargazing! We hope to return soon - Tamara's place will always be our first choice!

  • What a wonderful desert retreat! We were expecting a great stay based on the reviews we saw, but weren't prepared for the magic of this little town. We're from San Diego and Borrego Springs and The Hummingbird Haven now tops Julian as our favorite weekend getaway! Tammy was so friendly and she made us feel like family during our whole stay, giving us tips on what to see and do, and was especially helpful with recommending some hidden local nature spots :). We really felt like this house was the perfect fit for the vintage vibe of this town and every accessory made us feel like we were living in the 50's, with every modern appliance we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. We even found out that Tammy (our host) restores most of the furniture herself, and her hard work really shows. If you're ever in Borrego Springs, we couldn't reccomend this home more, and be sure to ask the wonderful host about how to make the most out of your experience. P.S., we heard the rainy season this year is going to make the wildflower bloom in a few months FABULOUS so expect us back then! So happy we found this place.

  • Fabulous setting at the base of the mountain, this well-appointed home was all we had hoped for. Great night sky viewing!

  • What an absolute desert gem for the weary traveler! Everything about this place speaks comfort and cleanliness at an affordable price. The interior was decorated with beautiful art complete with a modern kitchen, dining room, and a UHD TV. We certainly enjoyed the quietness of the location, especially the night time views of the stars. We will certainly consider this home away from home again when we return to Borrego Springs in February.

  • Amazingly quiet and serene home yet close to shops and restaurants and hiking. Spacious and fully equipped home. Jayne’s suggestions for delicious restaurants were perfect.

    Lauren2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The house is nicely situated in a desert landscape, great views of the Borrego basin and nearby mountains. Amazing sunrises! It’s not isolated but the neighbors are distant enough to provide plenty of privacy. Decent amenities but it’s a bit disconcerting at first that so many of the owners possessions are still there, as in drawers full of clothes, cabinets, freezer and refrigerator with lots of food items. It felt like they left hurriedly and might return soon. Odd but not really a problem.

    Carter2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable house, in a serene setting, with desert views in all directions, this is the place! We stayed two nights and loved it! We’ll be back for certain.

  • My family had a great stay at Lande's place. The surrounding area was really peaceful and beautiful! The community is gated, and the people at the kiosk were super friendly and helpful! The condo has everything that you need to enjoy a vacation indoors, and its location is also very convenient if you decide to go to city center or hiking trails. Although, we did not get to meet the host, staying at this well-equipped and beautifully decorated condo made us feel like we had met them.

  • Beautiful desert hideaway! Great location for local hiking!

  • We had such a delightful stay at Kokopeli’s Hideaway. Charles and Reni are wonderful hosts who gave us a warm welcome, respectful privacy and interesting discussions. We would definitely stay there again if we were to go back to Anza Borrego.

Away from the daily hustle and bustle, this historical California Ranch style house has lots of character, and is nearly off the grid. A mix of the original 1940's Adobe home, and an updated and beautiful interior, adds a unique touch to this peaceful ranch house. The unheated pool provides an escape from the summer heat, and the wood fireplace is perfect for the cold winter nights. Beautiful views from every room, and a breathtaking display of stars at night. We highly recommend a 2 night stay.
WARNING: The pool is unfenced, and uncovered. This property may not be suitable for small children! Humilde Morada (Humble Abode) is the perfect place to get away from it all. The house is 75 years old, a little quirky, but unique. The home is fully equipped, with almost everything you could possibly need. A comprehensive list of what is included in your package can be found at the end of this summary. Large gas BBQ's on the back porch and front patio, perfect for a cookout. Spend the evening around the firepit, or enjoy the wood burning outdoors oven on the patio. The pool is not heated and swim season only starts around end of May or June. We have free WiFi via Hotspot. The house has only 5 beds (1 Queen, 2 Twin and 1 Bunk bed (top bunk only suitable for children), but we can provide inflatable mattresses upon request. We intentionally don't have a TV, but for light entertainment, and to keep the "of days gone by" atmosphere, we have 250 DVD's with a DVD player that can project movies onto the wall: a real treat for kids and teens! Sitting outside after dark, listening to crickets and the night life, or looking at the stars, is the absolute best way to go. Sunsets are amazing so be prepared for "sun downers" on the front porch, or enjoy a glass of wine in front of the wood burning fireplace, watching the sunset through the large lounge windows in the winter months. There is an endless supply of wood at the house, so please do not bring your own wood. Humilde Morada is a great place for a fun family/friend get together, and a peaceful, secluded getaway from it all. About 5% of our guests rate this property as "remote". The Warner Springs area consists of small towns and farming communities. We are located in one of those communities, and surrounded by other 15 acre properties. Please do a Mapquest satelite map for Old Mine Rd. , Ranchita to get a better idea of what the area is like and where it is. Closest grocery store is 15min drive, and closest town (Ramona) is about 45min away, so bring your groceries and supplies with you!Check-in at 3pm, and checkout no later than 11am.
We are about 1 hour's drive from the city of Temecula, at the foot of the mountains. Elevation is about 4000 feet, even though the area appears to be at a lower elevation. Temecula is the perfect place to do wine tours and balloon rides. A 15 minute drive from the house, will take you to the small town of Santa Ysabel. Don's Market, in Santa Ysabel, is the closest market to our property, but it has almost anything you could need for a couple days away, including meat, beer and wine, ice and ice cream! If u don't feel like cooking and just want an average country meal, visit the Apple Country restaurant next to the Julian Apple Pie company or any of the other restaurants in the area. We are 25 minutes from Julian, a small historic town, priding themselves with the best apple pie in the region. Make sure to do a buggy ride, and visit the Julian Pie Company when out there! There are a number of restaurants, but be prepared for an early dinner since they close early in the evening. There are several little shops to browse through, and a great second hand bookstore; my favorite place to visit! When our kids were little, we found boxes of books dating back to when we were kids. It was a real treat to pass that on to our toddlers. Borrego Springs, is about a 25 minute drive down-hill, with easy access to the Anza Borrego Desert. This is the perfect place for a day trip during the cooler months. Spring time is the absolute best time to visit, when all the wild flowers are out in splendor. Borrego Springs has a few restaurants, but we can recommend the Coyote Grill for a nice dinner out!
  • Anna was a great host. She communicated right up through departure, even warning us about potential bad weather. The house was super clean, big bedrooms, great character. We went to Anza Borrego Park one day (20 min) and Julian (25 min) the next. The property is big and has a lot of out buildings, and I imagine it would be fun to stay with a group and rent out the guest house also. There is a really cute little "bunk bed" room off the kitchen that was likely a supply room at one time but would now be a great room for kids to sleep in. Lots of labels everywhere, which I appreciate, and although we didn't cook, it had everything you needed should you so desire. Both an eat-in kitchen and a large dining room and the living room is huge. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space due to the cold weather, however, it was lovely to look at through the large windows. We really enjoyed our stay!

    Jennifer2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Anna's place was beautiful & clean. We enjoyed a fun hike up to Eagle Rocks while staying there. The bed was very comfortable & we especially enjoyed the pizza oven. The house has historical rich feel while being warm and comfortable. We would love to come back in the summer to play in the pool.

    Parvati2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a beautiful and unique house. The wonderful patio and pool area are a great place to just sit outside and relax. There’s plenty of hiking around if you want to go out and get active. The drive to julian wasn’t bad so it wasn’t a big deal if we needed to get something or just wanted to go out. The only downside was I didn’t get service with my provider, however my guest that had Verizon was able to have service. They provided a hotspot so I was still able to use my phone at the house, just not when I was on the patio. Overall I would definitely stay again.

    Jessica2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • excellent retreat for us, had a wonderful time at the Ranch. this is the second time we stay here and we are already planning for another visit this year.

    Marcos2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Anna’s place was beautiful! She is very descriptive in revealing the location and communicating the best way to navigate to the property and prepare for your stay. We visited during the winter, so we did not get to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space but it looked very inviting. It was exactly as she describes in her listing. The home is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some! We did have cell service (Verizon) while there, but not everywhere in the surrounding area. Anna was always quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area!

    Treva2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home with an amazing hostess! Even though she was out of town at the time she still stayed up (with the time difference) to make sure we got in safely.

    Kaira2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • This home has it all! Beautiful décor, games, movies, lots of amenities! Whether you want to take a drive into Julian for some apple pie, drive down to Borrego to check out the desert sculptures or enjoy some hiking right in your backyard.... this is the place to stay!

    Annamarie2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully decorated home and outstanding communication from the host. Great location and lots of thoughtful touches made us feel at home. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the bathroom requires you to go through one of the bedrooms. If you are a family, it’s probably not a big deal, but we stayed with another couple, so that affected their privacy. Other than that we loved our stay here.

  • A great space for two couples. Also a great location for star gazing and visiting with friends by the pool. The house was clean, bright and very welcoming. We would definitely go back if/when we're ever planning a return trip to Borrego.

  • Amazing house with great amenities. All the thoughtful details that make it an easy and enjoyable stay. Great pool and spa. Close proximity to town but with a wide open view. Highly recommend this AirBnb and be sure to check out The Courts at Borrego Springs if you are in town and love tennis.

    Todd2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place to relax. Close to state park trails. We also really appreciated the library, full of some fun books as well as a guide/map to Anza-Borrego. Loved the open space inside/kitchen as well as the ample amount of space in the back yard around the pool/patio. Comfortable beds! Bryce was very communicative with us before and during our stay. We also highly recommend hiking the Hellhole canyon trail (among others - ask at the visitor center about the slot canyons in the area). We would return here again and again!

    Amy2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic space. Comfy beds, great shower, lovely open floor plan. Great communication. Beautiful scenery out the windows an back door. Easy parking. Couldn’t have asked for better.

  • Borrego surf club was a beautiful place to stay and enjoy all that the Borrego desert has to offer. Bryce was accommodating and easy to communicate with. I will be staying here next trip back!

    Elise2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in a terrific location, backing up to the mountains with hiking right outside the backyard. Very centrally located to lots of hiking and 4WD treks in the surrounding area, plus the Anza Borrego State Park visitor center is a short drive away. The farmers market on Friday morning was a nice way to start off our trip. Sunset from Font's Point is highly recommended. We didn't eat out once during our trip other than picking up sandwiches for lunch on the road at Center Market. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking needs and hanging out the house was much nicer than going out to eat! Groceries are a bit pricey in Borrego, so we picked everything up in SD on our drive out. The view from the house is amazing and we loved gazing at the stars from the hot tub every night after hiking all day. The living room was very comfortable and there were even puzzles/games for our daughter. Thank you Bryce for being a great host!!

Located inside a stunning rustic vintage trailer park"Casita" is a fiberglass trailer for two adults and maybe a small child. There is a sink, stove, small fridge, toilet + shower . The dinettes fold down to make a large bed for 2-3. Ceiling vent for ventilation. Additional public bathrooms, showers and laundry are located at the center of the trailer park. The RV park is located on the edge of the open desert bordering Anza Borrego State Park with spectacular views of the open desert.
Please read my reviews and the kind words guests have written about this location. If this trailer is booked I have 10 other listings in the same awesome vintage trailer park This trailer sits on a shared space with another trailer. The fire pit and seating area is shared with the trailer on the same space. Desert Sands Vintage Trailer Park est. in 1960 and is the oldest RV park in Borrego Springs which has mostly vintage trailers, some of the best landscaping for miles, breathtaking views, epic sunsets, bright starry nights and happy guests. If you've ever wanted to stay in a cool vintage trailer park, this is heaven. The pool is warm year round. Borrego Springs has warm sunny weather year round so if you love the outdoors you will enjoy staying here. We have guests that have been coming back for years. Located at the center of the vintage trailer park is the pool, Jacuzzi, laundry room and Tiki hut. The trailer has 2 large windows and has a very airy feeling with spectacular views of the mountains. Tabby sits on a space close to another trailer and shares a fireplace and seating area.
The state park visitors center is just up the street with an interactive museum that shows how life was in the area millions of years ago. Its a must see!! There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, road biking, off roading close by, mountain views, and points of interest.
  • Retro is a very cool place to rest and relax in the desert.

    Phil2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Warren messaged me before check-in and asked if we would need additional blankets or pillows for our one night stay. He also let us know about our neighbor, who generously knocked on our door to ask if we needed anything else. The key inside the lockbox outside of the trailer made for an easy and quick arrival! You are also in the perfect location to stargaze, which is made even more pleasant with seating around a nice pit for a bonfire. Thank you for a great stay at Borrego Springs!

    Tran2019-05-26T00:00:00Z

  • This was our second time back at Desert Sands RV Park. We loved it so much that we had to come back a second time...for our wedding! It was absolutely beautiful and all of our guests were so impressed by the trailers and Warren and Tammy’s hospitality. This place will always hold a special place in our heart, and we will be coming back now for years to come.

Cute, Cozy, Clean, and great location condo in Rams Hill Casitas; walking distance to golf course! Tile floors, vaulted ceilings and nice amenities make this condo spacious yet comfortable. Fireplace in the living room for cool evenings. This unit is completely furnished, has AC and is located close to parking. A wonderful place to get away from it all!

Love Borrego Springs!! Such a cute little town. The condo is just outside of town (less than 10 minute drive) and close to many state parks and desert walks in all directions.
  • Great place for 2 people— quiet and has everything you need to cook on your own, but close to town if you prefer to eat out. Fireplace and large tub to soak in after long day of hiking were greatly appreciated. We had a very comfortable and relaxing time.
