I have had the pleasure of staying in this condo many times as I travel through the islands on business regularly. Angel's place is always spotless, great location and I know very well why she has Super Host status. She always gets right back to me, is accommodating and the special little touches are really appreciated by a sometimes weary traveler I highly recommend this condo and Angel without reservation.

I just love the great location, amenities, the sparkling clean room and the thoughtful touches ( the bottle of wine Angel left for me). I was in Maui and had to return to the mainland, was laying over one night and the Alamoana Hotel was booked, but Angel came through again with flying colors. I hadn't called her first because of the short notice, but after the hotel turned me down I took a chance and I can see why she has Super-host status. I have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. She has won my business whenever I'm in Waikiki .

Angel's place is comfortable and well-equipped. The location next to Ala Moana Center is convenient and it is close enough to Waikiki for that option as well. I enjoyed walking across the street and running laps around the Magic Island park in the morning.

Anyway, the scenery is the best! Ocean view that spreads when you enter the room! And the location is also excellent! Waikiki beach soon! You can surf right away, and there is plenty of shopping around, so there is no inconvenience! I really wanted to repeat this if I went to Hawaii again! There is no doubt that it is a hotel that you want to boast to your friends a lot! !

I decided the room by looking at the image, but when I actually went, it was more impressive than the picture. The view is the best in a very good room. It was the best room in Air bnb where I stayed. When I contacted me when I was in trouble, I was able to reply immediately and live a normal life without any inconvenience. If you have a chance to go with your family, we will use it.

It was a stay of 9 parents and children (14 to 73 years old). I borrowed one airbed so I could sleep well. Above all, the location was excellent, the main places of Waikiki were within walking distance, the trolley, the bus stop of TheBus and the station of biki were very convenient nearby. There was a washing machine and a dryer, and it was very helpful that I was able to wash every day. I can't deny the age of the building itself, but the interior was very stylish as shown in the photo. It was a high floor, but the elevator could be used without waiting too much. It was a very fulfilling and comfortable trip. Thank you very much.

This is the place to stay, especially if you have a large group. Beautiful large, clean and comfortable condo, what you see in the photos, is 100% what you get. Masa is an amazing host nothing was ever a problem, very happy to answer any questions that I had, and replied very promptly.

I had stayed in the other rooms of Royal Kuhio several times, but it was the most nice and comfortable room ever. There was a small child, so there were toys such as LEGO and good sea play, so it was very helpful to think that I bought it every time and brought it back to Japan every time. I want to stay again! It was a room that I really thought.

This condo was clean, safe and nice. It was a good room for the cost. There was free parking for our mopeds and bikes. Just be prepared to walk/Uber to downtown Waikiki as it is about a mile away from everything.

Super clean! Had toaster, hot plate, other helpful cooking appliances as well as cups, plates, silverware and such. He whole place is beautiful and Dana was very quick with responses. Getting in the apartment was very easy.

A truly perfect spot within walking distance to the beach and local eateries- this stylish space was perfectly maintained and cleaned to allow for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend booking this room, as I hope to do so in the future. Host was friendly and prompt with their correspondence, leaving no room for inaccuracy- making check in a breeze.

Property is just as described. The location is good, half way between Waikiki and the Ala Moana shopping area, walking distance to both. There's a bit of road noise but that's to be expected for the convenience of being close to Waikiki, but without the hotel price tag. Lots of good restaurants nearby and access to public transport is convenient.

This suite is PERFECT! We enjoyed our one night stay here before we caught our flight back home. Such a stylish space with cute little touches. The place was very bright and clean. You are even able to cook a small meal at home despite the small space. We will be back!!

Great place for price!

Donald and Susan were great hosts, who went out of their way to assist us in anyway possible. The condo is cosy and contains all the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay in Hawaii.

Great stay. Very comfortable for 3 people. Donald was very prompt at responses. I recommend booking a car as it is quite a distance to get anywhere. Unfortunately it rained all one day and after venturing out only the morning we came back and enjoyed free movies on the TV.

Donald and Susan are great hosts, prompt to respond to any questions/issues, and were great at respecting our privacy. The space had everything my daughter and I needed for our stay. The extras (boogie board, beach umbrella...) were great to have access to. My only notes are that the pull-out sofa would best suit only small children, as the mattress has little support. And if you require your space to be brand new and spotless, then you might prefer elsewhere. The place was perfect for us and an excellent value. We would definitely stay here again.

I used it with 5 family members, but I really liked it. ︎The refrigerator prepared everything from seasonings to water and sweets. There was shampoo, and I was very happy that there was a rice cooker. Beach goods and cooler boxes were also provided. The best place to relax. You can easily go sightseeing along Kailua and the East Coast. The owner lived on the second floor and was happy to meet. The minus is that Wi-Fi could not be used, the air in the airbed was easy to escape, and lizards came out, but we liked nature so it was fine. For me who do not like the feeling of Waikiki, it was the best hotel on Oahu because of the overall cost and comfort. I want to stay here again! ︎

Great place to stay! Like some other reviewers have said, the walls are paper thin but really wasn’t an issue. The neighbors were quiet and we couldn’t hear them after they got into their rooms. Not a bad walk to the heart of Waikiki. Would stay again.

Alicia's place was amazing! We really enjoyed the location - super close to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Food Trucks including Giovanni's Shrimp Truck, as well as the Koaloa Ranch & Turtle Bay. The bed was super comfortable and we had both beach towels and shower towels. Great little kitchenette, convenient parking, and easy access to the beach! We loved our stay and would definitely go back!

Very cute, great place to stay if your on the north side of the island. Short walk to the beach that hardly has anyone on it. Close to the cultural center where there is great food options!

I stayed in Waikiki for two nights and ended my trip here. This place was perfect. The beach is just a short walk away. The Polynesian center is near by and there are plenty of good food around . Our favorite was Aloha Shrimp! I would definitely recommend this. It’s a sweet get away

The space was clean and beautiful, just as advertised! Would recommend to anyone who is visiting the North Shore. Great value considering the in unit washer and dryer, location close to the beach, and free parking space. Would definitely visit again. Great place n host.

Hawaii has a superbly pleasant climate and I was eager to find a place that was not air-conditioned at all since I had froze my tail at my previous on-base accommodation (I may be from the Windy City but I hate being cold). My stay at Honu Suite was exactly what I was looking for. First, for those who love a great view of the harbor, you will love this place. Additionally, I found the ceiling fan adequate for air circulation and cooling purposes. The Honu Studio as well as the adjacent studio has latch-locking sliding screens. I kept the glass sliding door open and the screen door closed and locked most nights and never had a problem with the room getting too hot. I realize that not everyone may be comfortable doing that, but there never was a single minute that I ever felt unsafe in the neighborhood. As for the neighborhood, I would like to say that I did NOT find it to be "sketchy" as some others had described it. I am an observant person and what I saw as I walked/ran through the neighborhood every day were hardworking, pleasant, family-oriented people mostly of Polynesian backgrounds with some other ethnicities mixed in. I never heard or saw any quarrels or illegal activity going on. Sure, there are a lot of vehicles in that particular area, but I was able to sometimes park my occasional rental car right in front. Other times, I found parking spot a short distance down on the same street or on an adjacent street about a quarter mile away (yes, a little walking never hurt anybody). The bed was fairly comfortable. The microwave, small fridge and sink were adequate for preparing my usual spinach avocado chicken wraps. There is even a smart TV that one can watch either the free Pluto programming or connect your laptop/tablet to stream programming of your choice. The wifi was fast and reliable. There is a washer/dryer available for use. Also there are motion activated lights in front. To sum it up, I found this place to be safe, comfortable and conveniently located to my place of work. Great place. Great value. I would stay again when returning for another long-term work assignment...if it is available to be booked.

The room was very clean and comfortable! For all travelers on a budget, I would definitely recommend Michael and Cristina's place. The location was perfect. You could easily access all parts of the island. Plus, there are several bus stops located right in front of the room. There is also a Target, a gas station, and a some restaurants right down the road. If you come to Hawaii and just need a simple, clean, and comfortable place to sleep, this is where you want to stay.

Great little place, close to the airport, awesome little utilities that they have for us to use (kettle pots, snorkel, etc.)

The housing is well placed and easy to access. It is close to the airport and full of amenities. We had a very good stay. The key box allows a very late arrival which in our case was a big plus! We stayed 1 week in the accommodation, and on the end the fact of not being able to cook (just a fridge and a microwave on the spot) to start bothering us a little bit. We recommend 100% accommodation for stays of a few days.

If you are on a budget and traveling alone, this is the place. Very clean and comfortable. If you are not going to rent a car, no worries. There is a bus stop right in front of the house, which will take you pretty much anywhere in the island. Stop thinking and start booking!

Everything was great other then finding parking that was a little tricky at times but I do think they mentioned it in post and have the info explained well when you arrive. I do really recommend this place very clean and nice

Michele's place is the spot for a getaway from the main city of Oahu. Her rental unit is equipped with the basic necessities to stay there for a period of time. Her property is right on a private beach and there is a lovely patio to grill and hang out at. Her hospitality is amazing and the check-in process was so smooth and comfortable. We can't emphasize how great it was to stay at their spot.

Michele is absolutely awsome. Very relaxed and chill personality. The picture’s don’t do the place justice. The place is very clean and modern. The property is gated so you don’t have to worry about anyone breaking into your rental car and the property is right on the beach. Very nice to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of waves. The beach is also very clean and quiet which is nice. %100 recommend staying at Michele’s. You won’t regret it!

Michele is a wonderful host, and we enjoyed our visit so much! The location is perfect for sitting in a lawn chair on the beach and listening to the waves rolling in. A beautiful view of the Honolulu cityscape can be seen at night. We felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves!!! Be sure to try her banana bread as it was fantastic!!

The place was very clean and private. You couldn’t of asked for a better view outside in your own backyard. I had a bit of an issue with my gps at the airport while it was recalibrating. I text Michele and she phoned me immediately with directions. I would definitely stay there again

The beach is right next door, so you can relax and enjoy the sea. There are a lot of stones to swim in, but the sunbed was great for sunrise / sunset. It was great for the friendly service and also had a simple snack.

We cannot say enough about Michele and her wonderful slice of beach heaven. The hospitality and amenities were amazing. We only stayed for 2 nights on this trip but look forward to coming back and staying longer next time. Everything you need for a relaxing trip is readily available and Michele offers great advise on things to do and places to eat. Thanks again Michele and see you again soon!

Nobu’s place was great! Great view from the 28th floor! Very clean and location was good! Nobu was very accommodating! Great stay!

The place had amazing views and in a convenient location. You pay for parking but we ended up paying $35. It’s Waikiki so you are paying for convenience. We had a Jeep and it fit fine. The Armada behind us couldn’t fit in the parking stalls remaining that night. So be mindful when renting a vehicle. I seen mini vans there so you should be fine. The place provided wine glasses and plates for you. Also there’s a ice pack if you have a cooler. I noticed there was beach or pool equipment you can use like a mat and chairs. We had two kids under 3 that slept on the fold down couch. Nobu has extra sheets so we covered the couch for the littles. The windows are huge but safe. The kids won’t fall out since it doesn’t open all the way. The shower water was idling between hot, cold, and warm even when a toilet was not flushing so don’t be surprised if you get a splash of cold water while showering or hot water. The bed was squeaky so we had to be cautious when getting out of bed not to wake them but to no avail our light sleepers woke. We couldn’t hear any noises next door so we were thankful for the quiet time. I wish they had a memory foam pillow or additional fluffier pillows than some of the flat ones but I have no real red flag complaints. I would book again to be honest. It’s a great location and great price. The Police Department is nearby so I was not worried about our safety.

The Royal Hawaiian Center, Ala Moana Shopping Center and the beaches of Hilton Hawaiian Village are within a 15-minute walk, making it a great place to stay. Check-in method is also possible because of the exchange using the key box on the LL floor. If you arrive early, your suitcase can be kept together at the security office for $ 10. When you get on the elevator, you can only press the button after inserting the card key, so security is also safe. When entering the room, you enter the entrance door and it is divided into two, but it is safe because each requires a key card. The view is superb as you are talking about. The sunrise looks beautiful from the mountains (although the sunset is hidden in a building) and the night view is very beautiful. If you like beer, it is highly recommended as there is a Waikiki Brewing shop just a 2-minute walk away. The cream pot on the first floor seems to be famous for pancakes and was crowded every morning. It was a bit old but clean and very satisfying. The only worrisome thing was that the water pressure of the shower was weak, so I was very worried about it!

This place was so close to the beach. You pay 1/3 the hotel rates but can have the beach within 10-15 walk. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great value to hang your hat for a week or two.

It really is a stunning property. We really enjoyed the open space of the kitchen and the living room with all of natural light. The bedroom is also very cute and cozy. You will really enjoy staying here. We wish we were quarantined here.

Absolute recommendation !!!! We stayed here for 11 nights and loved it. Perfect location on the North Shore - which is really difficult to find. Overall, the property is clean and well maintained. Great facilities, very cozy furnishings, great property, parking in front of the door, great WiFi etc. In addition, super nice and uncomplicated owners - good / fast communication - everything completely easy. We didn't miss anything and would come back in a heartbeat!

This stay was exactly what we were looking for! A home away from home. It was a short drive to several beaches which was perfect for us as my fiancé is a huge fisherman. It was also within 15 minutes from Haleiwa town where there are tons of food and shop options! The place itself is exactly as advertised. A clean comfy cottage where you could unwind from a day in the sun, and wake up to a beautiful breezy morning. Coffee on the lanai was my favorite! We had read reviews prior to booking and I will personally say we did not have any encounters with bugs, and jay was 100% responsive with any inquiries we had. We were very happy with our stay and would 10/10 would book again.

A fabulous location set in an orchard close to various beaches but without traffic and parking hassles. Nice airy comfortable space to relax.

It was very clean and comfortable. The interior was also very fashionable and I felt good sense. The location was easy to understand and did not get lost. The surroundings were surrounded by an orchard, and at night the starry sky was very beautiful and good memories. Ants are indoors in such an environment. I think it is necessary to be careful not to put food outside. I usually stay only in Waikiki, so this time I stayed in the North and had a special experience.

Jay's place worked out perfectly for us. Super close to everything but a little off the beaten path so very relaxing at the same time. Jay was very accommodating and super friendly. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay. If you want a local experience at a reasonable price when exploring the North Shore, this is your spot!

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay. The space is as pictured, perhaps even better, very nicely styled and clean. Some blinds on the bedroom window would be great for the morning sun but this wasn't really a big issue.

Maile's place was very nice and cozy. The big window was really nice, and the backyard area was a good place to chill. It was great that the Airbnb was located within walking distance of several stores (including a grocery store), and fairly close to some beaches as well. It was a comfortable place to come back to after roaming around Hawaii. Only issue I had was that the wifi was a bit spotty at times.

Maile's place is exactly as pictured! We were so comfortable staying here. It was peaceful and serene and had that Hawaiian Aloha spirit! It would be wise to have a car while staying at Maile's studio. It is a good distance to walk to the Windward Shopping Center. Everything was sparkling clean and we enjoyed our stay! The only thing to note is that the Wifi is weak. It was good enough for calls, texts and computer use on websites, but it did not allow for downloading, streaming or connecting to certain apps. We highly recommend staying at Maile's studio! Very affordable and comfortable!!

Maile was an excellent host and her place was amazing! It’s located right next to the forest and the view is great. There is a kitchen that fully stocked so it’s great if you want to stay in and make food. Maile was quick to respond and was extremely helpful. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing space near Kailua.

This fully-furnished studio is fantastic. Full kitchen, refrigerator, two balconies, all the amenities you need and a great bathroom. Location is stellar and there is a laundry facility on the ground floor as well as a 24 hour market that sells hot food as well. There’s also tons of food on the same block. Two blocks to Waikiki Beach. Hey Lyon is super communicative and responsive.

If you’re thinking of booking a hotel for your trip, DON’T. This place is absolutely beautiful and way more relaxing than a hotel would’ve been. Typically I stay with family in Wahiawa, but I wanted to try something different. Location - Right in the beautiful Manoa Valley. You’re in the middle of a beautiful area on Oahu, super underrated. It’s close by Waikiki, but far enough to be away from the touristy feel. Keep in mind, you’re in a back house up on the mountain side, so you’ll be climbing up steps to get up. WORTH. EVERY. STEP. If you have difficulty with stairs, keep this in mind. Beautiful view. Amenities - There’s towels, some snacks, juice, beer, wine, cleaning supplies, shower amenities...more than I was even expecting. For cooking, there’s no microwave or stove, but you have a grill right outside that you can cook on. Also, you can do laundry and Doug was kind enough to provide us with detergent. :) Cleanliness - Squeaky! Everything else, Doug’s communication was on point. We had conversations since booking and arriving and he was always there in a timely manner when I had any questions or requests during our stay. He even said it would be okay to do an “emergency” Amazon order if I needed it. You just have to go see for yourself. Totally worth it. Even with the rain, the view made it feel relaxing and just chill. So pleasant. Giving the place 5 stars, because it definitely deserves it.

Doug was an amazing host, quick to respond, easy to talk to. The place is beautiful and amazing, although at the top of a steep set of stairs or up the neighbors driveway, it was wonderful and very private. We loved it

I stayed in Doug's cabin for 10 days. The house is on a small hillside. It is comfortable and secret. The landlord is very nice and helps us solve the problem in time. I'm very reluctant to leave here and hope to stay again next time, thank you landlord!

The apartment is so nice and modern and we liked that you feel all alone. It is nicely furnished and we were able to sip our morning coffee first things in the morning as a nespresso machine and even capsules+milk were provided. Upon arrival Doug came out to welcome us and he helped us with our luggage, which was really nice of him as there are some steps up to the apartment. He showed us around and explained a few things and then we had the apartment and the garden all to ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment and we can definetly recommend it. We had a wonderful time on Oahu and if you like good coffee - you should check out "Morning Glass Coffee & Café" a few blocks further down. They make really good cortado and scones. :-)

Amazing space and wonderful hospitality!

This was the first time we've ever made plans around an air bnb availability and our first time for a long stretch in one location. How ideal in all the important ways. You are nested above Manoa Valley, which gives you a glorious vista, birdsong, and skies of every mood. It's magical to move in and out of the space because of the way it's designed to connect with the outside. There is no a/c and you'll meet things that wiggle outside and it's beautifully simple. This is enhanced by the quality of the materials and all the smart design choices by Bill and Doug. It's their personal space and we lucky souls get to stay in it. What great hosts. They have a family and day jobs but were always responsive and so considerate. Doug greets you and stocks you with welcome snacks. They import coffee from the mainland for guests, for crying out loud. Manoa neighborhood is older and quiet. We seek out less traveled places and never ran out of hikes, great restaurants and beaches within easy driving distance. We'd end up going to Honolulu one day and remote shores the next. Accessibility may be the caveat. The space is built 'tall,' which enhances the sense of room and need for the step stool for some. We were fine with the stairs; a couple are spaced for a higher step but posed no problem even at night.

A spectacular location ideal for relaxing with a lot of privacy. Beautifully decorated. Important note for older travelers (like us): main access is via steep steps without a handrail but there is also access via steep neighbor’s driveway which we actually found easier. We opted not to go out or return after dark as a result.

Great hideaway in the mountains and near Wakiki Beach, shopping, restaraunts. Place opens up to accept wonderful tradewinds. Very private.

Philips place is centred in the perfect location of Waikiki. Has everything you need. Easy walk to beach, ala moana and plenty of shops close by. There was a helpful reception + concierge downstairs, check in was a breeze, Philip was quick to respond and there were little thoughtful touches that made it perfect, like beach mat, body boards and water in the fridge! Best part was free parking which we really appreciated. Mahalo for the stay!

Philip was a wonderful host. All his instructions were accurate and check-in, parking, etc was very easy. The free parking was great! The place is in a great location, clean and had a lot of nice touches. Loved the lanai (we were able to watch the fireworks from there on Friday 😊). We were warmly welcomed and shown all the available amenities right away. Parking was right next to the Yurt and the very nice bathroom was literally 5 feet away from out door. The property is gated with remote access and the quiet beach is really just off the property. The restaurants nearby were wonderful. We only saw our hosts once or twice during our whole week trip. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of starter snacks and drinks in the fridge. The WiFi and Netflix was superb. I forgot the windows opened two days in. That is a must to do during the hot days! There is a wonderful breeze that cools the place down faster than the AC! Definitely come! This is a nice central location if you want to travel the whole island.

The yurt was amazing! Everything was clean and they had everything provided that makes a stay a lot more relaxing! Such a cute cozy place and everyone was super nice and informative! We will be staying there again if we travel back to Hawaii! Worth every penny and the beach is right there to stroll down! Thank you so much for the perfect stay on our honeymoon! 🌺🌈🌊

If you’re thinking about staying here, stop thinking and book it!! This will be the coolest and most unique experience if you’ve never stayed in a yurt. The hosts and super friendly and helpful and respond very quickly to ever need and question. You enter a private gate at the end of a street and pull your car right along side of the darling yurt. We got a quick tour of how to operate everything in the yurt and of the private bathroom steps from the yurt entrance. The laundry is right there to stocked with everything you need from beach towels to boogie boards and snorkel gear. We were led down a short path out to the beach and introduced to Polu, the owner who resides with his wife a dog right there on the ocean front. Super cool guy that gave us great recommendations on where to get dinner and other meals l. He took us out on his spectacular catamaran the next day for a small donation to cover maintenance costs!! This was the highlight of our trip!!! The place is not The Four Seasons, if that’s your thing. It’s not roughing it though. It has everything you need including a Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu and all the other streaming channels. They supplied coffe, water, juice and a few snacks. That was a nice touch. You won’t regret staying here!! Hopefully you’ll run into Michelle when she takes the yellow lab out to the beach and you can see her fetch a coconut from the ocean!! Super rad!

Only was there for a short amount of time but it was exactly what I needed gave me a chance to see the north side of the island. Was a great place to meet other travelers as I was traveling solo wish I would’ve booked it for a few more nights and had a chance to connect with them a little more but now I know for next time. Had 4 people sleeping in two bunk beds in the room I was assigned was a little awkward as I stayed out late Friday and didn’t want to disturb the other guests as I came back late but everybody was chill and did their own thing and just used the place as a home base which was cool. Bring towels and other things you might need did not provide much besides the actual house with a place to sleep, a kitchen and bathrooms but worked good for me just needing a place to sleep for the night didn’t need all the amenities of a house as I was just trying to do as much as I could while I was there wasn’t too picky on the place I was staying. Others were staying for an extended amount of time and seemed to fit right into things.

Uncle Blake's was great! Very chill house that felt like a different universe from the terrible hostel that I stayed in near Waikiki. Thanks for the turtle bay tip! If anyone is allergic to cats, they have a couple, and they are a tad smelly, but that's the only negative. Other than that, this place is super rad.

Phil was a great host. He responded fast and it was easy to keep in touch with. The place was a lot bigger than I expected.

An accommodation you will not regret, rent clean, complete with all you need (dishes, towel, fan, a small cooler to put juice or frozen, deckchair ...) your parking available with wifi . Quiet and close to everything, (service station, water park and mall, cosco, ross). A nice spot, and the host was there to answer all your questions. I advise you this accommodation for 5 to 6 people.

Exactly what the post says! It’s a perfect place to stay if you’re not one to stay in all day. Like he mentions it gets hot, but that’s what the beach is for right! Haha it was a perfect place to sleep and shower, for a great price, and I loved the location.

The studio is just as described. It is also close to restaurants, stores, and freeway. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive, comfortable, and clean place to stay. Phil is also quick to respond if you have any concerns.

Place was great! Perfect for my two adult brothers. Room had kitchen which was nice! Only thing I’d say prepare for is that there is no A/C so the room was intensively hot during the day-being end of July. But at night cools off, which is fine considering they were out doing tours during the day. Host was very helpful and responsive!

We adored this place. The location was perfect for our north shore getaway - it feels secluded and vast, but is only a short drive from all the things we loved about this area of Oahu. The hosts are true gems, thinking of all details to help make ya feel at home and enjoy our stay. We were sad to leave!

Valhalla Paradise was the perfect fit for us. It feels like it's tucked far away in the mountains, but it is also very close to Foodland, Shark's Cove and Ted's Bakery (our favorite). Mark and Christina are warm and welcoming. There were even a couple of beers on the doorstep when we arrived! The property is lush and beautiful. The room was great for our small family of two adults and a baby. There is a small fridge (bigger than a mini fridge) and a hot plate - we mostly eat out or at our friend's house on Oahu, so we didn't need a full kitchen. Saw really cute geckos, and our baby was delighted to hang out with the resident dog and cat. There is a lot of beach equipment to borrow too. We hope to go back again soon! This is my second time returning to Oahu and staying in Kelly's properties. We rented the apartment for a week. The apartment was fully furnished and had everything we needed (boogie boards, ice chest, ironing board, beach towels and etc). Kelly was quick to answer questions and replacing items (the beach umbrella that was in the room was not working properly, so she gave me another replacement). We will return soon and as always plan on staying on one of her properties. Aloha!

We loved the location as it was away from Honolulu with its craziness. It was close enough to all of the things we wanted to do. Climb works zip line, toa Luau, hiking and great food. The place was clean and had secure parking which is a huge deal. The beach just across the road was also nice to be so close to.

Awesome location! Loved the apartment and thoughtful touches. Be sure to walk across the street in the morning’s to watch the sunrise.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay at in Oahu! I loved the amenities provided! I appreciated the little things (i.e., paraben and sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, natural hand soap, utensils to cook, beach towels, and so much more!) The AC worked great and was very fast in cooling the room so we were quite pleased. The bedroom was the perfect size (very spacious) and the mattress was comfortable. Overall, the location and amenities were wonderful, especially if you’re planning to stay in North Shore.

Kelly's place is the perfect spot to stay whenever you visit the beautiful island of Hawaii (Oahu). The beach is literally within a 5 min walk from the house & in a very safe location. The studio is fully equipped with all the necessities you will need for the beach as well as everything you will need to have a great night sleep & it is super clean. Kelly was a text or call away for anything we needed. We will definitely try to reserve this place again in the future & highly recommend it for anyone visiting the island.

If you want north shore access, or want to be close to LDS temple, BYU-HI, or Polynesian cultural center then this is the place for you. It’s about 1 hour from Honolulu. Keep that in mind when selecting this place. Very clean, updated, and gated driveway. Bed is squeaky and walls are a bit thin, otherwise fantastic place. Kelly, let us do a load of laundry as well. She is very responsive to requests and very good to work with.

Cozy place with private parking directly across from the beach. Everything my wife and I could have needed and Kelly was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Loved everything about our stay, great location and close to North Shore, easy check in and out, excellent location, super clean and tidy. We were so sad to leave but cannot wait to come back. Will stay here every trip to Oahu!

I cannot day enough amazing things about our stay at the Ilikai - WE LOVED IT! The beds were super comfy. The unit was very clean! We had a blast at the beach and pools. We walked everywhere. It was fantastic! We loved starting and ending our day on the oceanfront view balcony. We highly recommend this place!

If your looking for the ease of a hotel and its amenities without all the extra resort fees than this room is it! Located right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village where you can utilize the shops and shared lagoon. My husband, daughter and myself found this room cozy, clean and modern with everything we needed. The shower definitely has a high wall to step over as it is a Japanese style tub but that is made clear before booking and I could overlook that for everything else the room had. Coffee maker, Brita, Hairdryer, Yoga mat & iron with board made things easy. Conveniently located off the main elevators and next to the laundry room, bathers elevators and the trash receptacles but very quiet. Most amazing view - partial view of diamond head and the lagoon & ocean. Front row seats at your balcony for friday night fireworks as well as a view of the Hiltons luau. I couldn't be happier with our stay!

Super apartment, breathtaking view of the sea and the lagoon, you can see the fireworks on Friday and the Hawaiian spectacle just below the building, the parking is quite expensive if you find a place

I was sure what to expect. After staying 3 nights, i came to love this little hotel in Waikiki.

Janina’s place has everything you need for a Hawaii adventure. The place is well decorated and full of essentials, also beach supply. Janina is amazing, nice, fast responding and will to help you out.

She was super friendly and willing to help!

Nina was an amazing host! She was very welcoming and invited us for a grill out with some other guests. The room was impeccable and had a little wine bar. The check in was easy. There were beach supplies and all the amenities you might need.

The house has a very nice location, you can see and hear the sea (by car 1 minute until then), directly behind the house are the mountains of Kaaawa. The room was very large, very clean and very tastefully decorated. Nina is very hospitable, personable and we felt very comfortable with her. We even spontaneously invited her to a barbecue. We can only recommend the accommodation and were happy to meet Nina. Mahalo :)

We were in and out so much that we never got to meet our gracious host, but she was lovely to communicate with and we loved her space. It was in a great location and we loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the wind off the coast and the view of the ocean.

Nina is a lovely host and so hospitable!! The room my very large, comfortable and clean. The location is beautiful, with nice beaches and places to eat a short bus ride or drive away.

Lori was a great host. She took the time to buy some board wax per my request of potentially SUP’n during my stay. She also took the time to add items you might normally forget. The outdoor area is very cool with the lighting and highly recommend an evening at home enjoying a meal and cold beverage. I’ll definitely stay here during my next visit. Thanks again Lori!

Great and convenient little hostel. It’s basically like staying in someone’s house with a bunch of cool strangers. Make no mistake though, this is a hostel with transient people moving in and out, sharing a relatively small living space. There is not much for privacy unless you get your own room and even then you will see others when you leave your room. I stayed for 10 days and met some awesome people and had a great time. Very convenient location if you plan on spending most your time on the north shore and still it’s only a 30-40 minute drive into Honolulu. Just remember it’s a hostel not a hotel, I only say this because I saw a few older women turn up and look utterly disgusted by it and then complain. You’re paying $30 a night, loosen up and enjoy it!

Great hosts create a welcoming atmosphere, and seem to have attracted a whole range of very friendly individuals to stay there. The people met here will be lasting friends. Whats more, Blake is constantly making an effort to make the space even better! I would definitely go back if in Hawaii again.

Feels more communal than hostel.I had a wonderful time here. Every evening I’d meet new people & get a chance to hear what they did that day. Cherry on the top was a bonfire at the beach with most of the house. 😊 I will definitely return.

Quick little weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Loved the lounge area which was steps away from a little private beach. Flynn was great host! Would definitely stay here again!

Flynn was the absolute best! He went the extra mile on a couple of requests we had due to the timely ness of our travel and arriving at night. The check in instructions where a breeze even after dark. The space is beautiful and something out of a movie. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy the property had to offer. The view is absolutely breath taking. We woke up to the sunrise every morning, most morning we got to see the humpback whales jumping and splashing off in the distance. There was a variety of other sea life to observe from the back deck to include needle head fish, colorful little fish in the rocks, crabs, turtles, then the skydivers and surfers and ships it was just gorgeous and always entertaining! This place is highly recommended especially if you are looking to get away and relax! Flynn offered a private parking space and many recommendations for food and entertainment. Locals are very friendly and the entire area feels safe and welcoming.

Absolutely perfect!! They really thought of everything (tea and instant coffee plus a kettle was a great touch) and the space is as beautiful as pictured. The AC works very well but we hardly needed it with the fan and the breezes coming in.

The pictures do this place justice! Flynn is an excellent host and gives you the privacy you would like in this lovely romantic oceanside suite. The slightly higher than average cost is worth it. The unit is tastefully decorated and you are as close to the bright blue water as it gets. The sea turtles enjoy the coral not far from shore and you will see them surfacing often. This is paradise and I would highly recommend for your private North Shore getaway.

Very clean, comfortable and a tremendous location for a quiet get-away. The bed was super comfortable. Flynn was great - excellent communication, local tips and went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

This was our first trip to Hawaii. We found A Slice of Paradise after leaving a previous accommodation that was uncomfortable and loud. What a difference! Flynn’s home truly is a magical spot. In a quiet and out of the way neighborhood near Haleiwa, this little gem is tucked away behind an unassuming blue gate in a quiet neighborhood. Thought neighbors are close by, we felt secluded and it was very romantic. Though small, this space is simply and elegantly decorated with all sorts of thoughtful extras including: beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, tea and kettle. The outdoor shower is amazing too. The bed and bedding felt luxurious and so cozy. It was hard to leave! By far, our favorite part of this spot is the location and the view! You are literally right on the water. The waves are splashing against the rock wall as you sit in the chairs facing the ocean and lull you to sleep while the windows are open. We even saw turtles! While hiking down the road, we saw a pod of whales so I’m sure you can see them from them from the house too. This spot is close to a couple of great hikes, historic Haleiwa town and an easy drive to explore the rest of north shore or Honolulu. We will most definitely be back. Thank you Flynn!

5 stars all the way. For starters, Flynn was great with communication/check in. Location is great. It’s only a short ride to North Shore restaurants/world class surfing (wish I would have brought binoculars for the latter). We loved the stretch of private beaches close by too. The space is no frills, but everything we needed-and clean. It is incredible how it is directly on the ocean! Slept with the windows open at night,hearing and feeling the force of the huge winter waves crashing into the sea wall all night was a surreal experience. If that’s not up your alley, there was a nice climate control system there as well (probably useful in the summer months). Stargazing on the patio/from the window in bed was also unreal. Hope to return next year.

Peaceful and relaxing space in a beautiful neighborhood. We slept with the windows open and loved listening to the stream below and birds in the morning. I was bitten a lot (I’m prone to it, my husband wasn’t) - definitely bring insect repellent and anti-itch cream

The location of the house is very good, the bus is very convenient, it is close to the beach, there is street view, it will be a bit noisy during the day. There is a supermarket in the lobby on the first floor, which is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby. Angie communicated smoothly and checked in very early the first day. The room facilities are also very complete, very clean, and the internet is fast.

Angie is super quick in responding to messages and offers an unit that is clean, well appointed, and great for the money. We highly recommend renting from Angie. Without exception, great experience from start to finish.

Angie was a great host, quick in response and answered all the questions I had promptly. The room is clean and conveniently located, wish I have chosen the ocean view instead of mountain view, as the room is facing the Main Street and does get quite noisy at times and it disturbed my sleep.
