“A great spot to grab a drink before or after an event at Rogers Place. It's a rustic, up-scale bar. Classic cocktails, exposed brick walls and a perfect mixture of people. ”

Grocery Store
“This is the original store, opened many years ago by Frank Spinelli and now run by Teresa Spinelli, who has expanded to three locations in Edmonton and one location in Calgary. There is something about a busy store with so many products you don't typically see in regular supermarkets. Just give it a visit and you'll see what we mean. We love their pasta selection, in house baked breads and buns, great deli, wonderful selection of olive oils, sauces. They now offer more products for gluten sensitive people. We are so lucky to have such a great family store in Edmonton, and now in Calgary.”

Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurant
“ Padmanadi Vegetarian and Vegan Restaurant opened in Edmonton in 2002. The original Padmanadi was founded in the late 70's back in Jakarta, where it was the most popular vegetarian restaurant. The same appears to be happening in Edmonton as well. I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but I still go here for the great food. ”
