“5 Reasons to Visit Stone Mountain Park Stone Mountain is the place to take your family to see the Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision®. The lights are choreographed with toe-tapping tunes and take-your-breath away pyrotechnics. It is the very best way to cap off a day at Stone Mountain Park. The Crossroads area is the spot to spend a few hours watching live shows, shopping and dining. Stone Mountain is a great place to throw a party, have a family reunion or host a company picnic. The professionals at Stone Mountain Park will plan and host your group event for you. Your requirement: Have a ball. Learn a little history as you gaze up at the faces carved into the mountain. Park
“15 minutes up the road is The DuPont State Forest. The Park is known for several spectacular waterfalls, as well as miles of biking, hiking, and horseback trails. Several of our cover photos are from there and it is a magnificent place. It might be somewhat familiar to you if you have ever seen the movie “The Hunger Games” and “The Last of the Mohicans.” I think there are tours if you’re interested. The hiking to the waterfalls is more of a long walk. There are no food vendors nearby.”

Outdoor Event Space
“Not in Hendersonville, located in Fletcher about a 25 minute drive, but if you don't mind the short drive it's worth seeing. Sierra Nevada spent $300 million building this facility and when you see it you'll understand why. Of course beer, lots of it and several bars indoor and outdoor (weather permitting), but it also has a very good restaurant, you'll need to put your name in and wait. In the warmer months the "back porch" is really nice; fire pits, rocking chairs, music, "corn-hole" games, fun in the nice weather...”
