“While touring the mansion brings me back to middle school field trips, it’s still one of my favorite “touristy” things to do. I’d recommend your kids be a little older (8-10 depending), so you can really enjoy these “summer cottages” as they were formally known by the families who owned them. We love The Breakers and Marble House the best. ”

“There is a nice health food store just across the street called A Market that is great too. Anthony's seafood on Aquidneck Ave about 1.5 miles from the house is great for local fresh seafood and you can eat there too. For Fried Seafood at it's best go to Flo's Clam Shack which you can walk to from the house near first beach. ”

“It’s usually busy, but it’s great for families (pretty noisy and offers great variety for young and old alike). I love the location because it starts you off at the top of famous Thames St., and when you roll out after your meal, you can start walking and enjoying all that Thames has to offer.”
