  • Ryan was a fantastic host! We never met, but he responded very quickly to any questions I had. We were three girls visiting New Orleans for the first time and felt super safe at his place. Also the pictures don’t do it justice... so many areas to chill alone or with someone else. Also he let us stay an extra hour for check out, and offered to hold our bags until our flight. Thanks for everything!

    Ariel2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Ryan’s place was great! Very clean! Great place in the city as well!

  • Perfect home and location

  • Very beautiful place! Loved the classic New Orleans feel to it. It was big enough for me and my children! I will def stay here again when visiting!

    Erin2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was cozy and gave off great vibes, there was enough beds and privacy options to accommodate 4 adults. You’ll be sharing one bathroom, which is the only problem we ran into. Otherwise they had two flat screen TVs with most streaming services hooked up ready to use and the beds were perfect for my standards and I didn’t hear any complaints from my friends either. I can’t wait to go back and will definitely stay here again 💕

    Mercades2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place to stay, close to everything New Orleans has to offer. We all slept great, beds were very comfortable. Ceiling fans too!! We have to sleep with a fan so this is a huge plus for us.

  • This was a convenient spot with all the necessities for a getaway in New Orleans. Ryan was super easy to communicate with as well!

My 1936 double is not in the French Quarter but is in the center of the NOLA area. By car you can get anywhere in 10 minutes; that's City Park, Mid-City/Fairgrounds, the French Quarter, the Convention Center, Tulane and Audubon Park, Lake Ponchartrain, the Westbank, Magazine & Julia St. as well as Metarie! This is an entire clean and comfy NO- SMOKING apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The space is open and airy. It has lots of natural light. You have access to the front porch as well as the backyard patio. There is a basically equipped kitchen if you would like to cook.
The neighborhood is quiet yet located right in the middle of the 'crescent' of the Crescent City! MY HOUSE IS NOT IN OR NEXT TO THE FRENCH QUARTER! The Quarter is at least a 10 minute drive away and I am happy to let you know where to park down there; just ask! My husband and I bike to work in the French Quarter everyday and find it takes about 20 minutes to bike there. Walking might take you an hour. My neighborhood is quiet and residential. Please, please, please do not block ANY driveway. Please make sure that your vehicle is parked at least 3 FEET away from any driveway. You have a designated spot on the street in front of the ABB listing but if it is taken please park legally in another spot. Thank you!
  • Really, nice, quiet and clean flat. I can definitely recommend it.

  • Will be back when we are in NOLA.

  • A great place to stay when your visiting New Orleans.

    Mary2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jane went above and beyond to accommodate us. She is an amazing host. One of the best Airbnb experiences that I’ve had. I highly recommend staying here.

    Spencer2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • I knew and felt confident when we booked that we'd picked a great one. Jane's responsiveness and kindness is so obvious right away. We felt right at home when we arrived. Lights were on for us, and some snacks left out after a long travel day. I got to try King Cake for the first time! Yummy! I love staying in older homes and this has been my favorite so far. The house is a comfortable and cozy 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath. With three women travelling together the extra powder room was very handy. The wood floors and trim work is gorgeous! The space was bigger than I'd imagined and really well laid out. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. A big highlight for us was the neighbors cat, Jacob - King of the Universe, came to visit and let us snuggle him as much as we wanted. We rented a car and were downtown within ten minutes. I walked to the St. Charles street car line and that took me about 20-25 minutes. The CAN/US exchange is a little hard on canadian travellers so we were "making groceries" at Rouses. That saved us some money and we were grateful to have the well appointed kitchen for breakfasts and a few dinners.

    Rebecca2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I were there for a few days and everything was great. From the plentiful towels to the Zappos complimentary chips that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on to. The accommodations were very convenient, especially the ironing board we used for my boyfriends button up before our Valentine’s Day dinner (men don’t fold well btw, lol). We didn’t use the kitchen except for the sink, but everything was clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the entire house had the hardwood floors which gave it so much character. Jane and her husband were very sweet and welcoming. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to everything you’d want to experience in NOLA. I’ve been bragging about this place since my first night and now my boyfriends sisters wanna do a girls trip so see you soon Jane! And thanks for everything! Xoxo

    Mia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute house in a quiet neighborhood. It’s very close to a pedestrian and bicycle path to get around without a car. Kris is a wonderful host that returns messages quickly, can help you find a great dinner, and many things to do while you are in town. It was wonderful!

  • Jane was super kind and a great host. The place was spacious and clean with all the amenities you would need. We thought it was a perfect location for a getaway.

My spare bedroom of my 2bd1b is perfect for a business traveler or a couple not looking to pay a fortune for a trip to New Orleans. It is 4 blocks from the street car and I am centrally located in a quite neighborhood (mid-city). I am also located on the bus route from the airport. 2-3$. E1 bus line.
Neighborhood is safe with many bars and restaurants that are within walking distance. Recommendations are in the resource binder.
  • Great host, amazing location!

    Sierra2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Eric is a great host! He had all the information we needed in a little binder in our room. He is very friendly and social, and we had a great time talking to him. He gave us some excellent tips about where to eat. His place is clean and very close to everything.

    Katherine2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nice room in a house that is only about 2 miles from bourbon street. Thanks Eric!

  • Eric is kind. Good location. Clean house.

    大輝2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Eric's place is excellent: clean, convenient, guest-friendly, exactly as you can read in reviews. 15-20 minutes to French Quarter using very beautiful NO street cars. Eric, thank you again!

    Anatoly2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time and the location was great to get all over the city fast

    Nicki2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Eric's apartment fits perfectly with the description. The room and the bathroom are very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Eric is a very friendly and responsive host by message. If we were to find a fault with this AirBnb, I would say that it is a bit noisy. However the area is quiet and Eric discreet so you will not be disturbed. A bus stop and a tram stop are a 5-minute walk away. They allow access to the Old Square in 20 minutes.

This well-appointed one bedroom home in a newly renovated century-old double shotgun is centrally located in New Orleans' Mid City neighborhood. Located just 5 minutes from the French Quarter and Central Business District, 10 minutes from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, and 15 minutes from Louis Armstrong Airport, it is an ideal spot for tourist and business travelers alike.
  • This is a great space! The hosts have thought of everything! They give you fantastic ideas about what to do and make sure that you know exactly where you need to go. I was incredibly comfortable and would most definitely stay there again my next trip to New Orleans!

  • This Airbnb was perfect for my stay in New Orleans. While this was mainly a business trip, I was able to explore the city due to it's central location. The room was exactly as pictured, with marine decor and ample room for three guests. The neighbors were all so sweet, greeting us with good mornings or how are you's whenever possible. If you are looking for a place to stay, while visiting NOLA, book with M!

    Jessica2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was great ‼️ The house gave a cozy warm vibe and was true to the pictures provided . The place was super clean and stylish as well . And the biggest thing that had me head over hills was the convenience of the location of the home , all restaurants and places of interest was within 10 to 15 mins at the most ‼️ We loved it and definitely would book again 🤗

    Anissa-Marie2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Seriously SO happy with the experience!! These guys were so accommodating to us, from a flight being earlier than our check in time, to holding our bags longer for us, to their hospitality. The place gave an amazing vintage feel that had upgraded amenities (Bluetooth in the bathroom was a great touch). It was so cute that there a sign in book as well! To see past people give little hellos was a thoughtful touch for sure. And the location was perfect! Quick uber rides to the French Quarter and all the action without having to deal with the craziness if you wanted a little quiet time. Next trip to NOLA, I will definitely be booking this space again.

    Victoria2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A comfortable place in a quiet area. Conveniently close to many vibrant areas of town. Definitely on my shortlist of places to book on my next trip.

    Julian2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town for the parades and stayed 6 nights. We loved the house, it was really clean, nicely decorated and very close to everywhere we wanted to go. There is a bus stop just steps away which was very convenient for us. Loved the architectural details of this 100 year old shotgun house. On street parking was easy and right out front. Both the beds were super comfortable! We had plenty of room and had a lovely time. Thank you!

  • This is a wonderful location and a great little space. Don't expect extras like food in the fridge or pantry, but do expect a nice little guest house off the street in a great area. Walkable to the heart of Tulane's campus and very close to Claiborne (Ted's Frostop!). The TV is great, but the reception so-so. Had issues with Internet while there which Ryan was responsive too although couldn't be solved during stay. It is a litte Spartan, but a good space for the price in a great location.

    Jeffrey2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great area - let's you get away from the city and relax!

    Aaron2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and good location. Ryan was quick with communication. Easy Uber trip to any NOLA area. Basic accommodations; not fancy, but perfect if you'll be out and about in New Orleans. Bed squeaks, fyi, in case you are a light sleeper or your partner moves a lot. The place feels private and safe and we loved our visit to NOLA!

  • We so much enjoyed New Orleans and our first night's stay at this Airbnb studio that we reserved an extra night. Matthew was super accommodating and helpful in all our communications. A delightful spot for a couple of tourists to relax after exploring this amazing city.

    Alison2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a convenient, safe and cheerfully eclectic place for 1 or 2 people to stay in New Orleans, this one fits the bill. Our only sighting of a host was the briefest of encounters of Katherine through their front door opened a crack so as not to let the dog out. However, written messages with Matthew were promptly and very helpfully answered. One end of St Charles Street trolley is within very easy walk from the Airbnb studio. It was immensely helpful to have our own parking space in the driveway. City driving and parking can be awkward, but the trolley system and Uber/Lyft met every transportation need. Matthew and Katherine have provided helpful recommendations for eating places and sites to visit, clear information on the amenities, and specific instructions for tidying up etc before checkout. All in all, a good place!

    Alison2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved our stay! The garden/backyard area is gorgeous (and made a great backdrop for a photo i took!) We really loved that there were lots of places to eat close by, since we were trying to avoid the busier areas at night. Matthew and Katherine were very kind and welcoming. The local beers and snacks were a nice surprise after our 5 hour drive. :) Thank you for making our trip awesome!

  • Great for a weekend getaway. Beautiful outdoor area. Would recommend.

    Ariel2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew and Katherine’s place was perfectly located. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but conveniently located near shops and restaurants. They’re three blocks from the street car and five minutes drive from magazine street. The space was perfect for me who just needed a place to sleep, shower, and then get up and go. If you want a more laid back approach, the garden was perfect for a good book and a cold beer. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at their place.

    Matthew2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • I loved it here! The neighborhood is so lovely, it is an easy walk to the streetcar, and the little yard and garden are so wonderful. Everything clean and comfy inside, and I appreciated the oatmeal on my last morning as I waited for my airport cab. Super quiet and safe.

    Sarah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I have just completed a 18 day music tour and This is best Airbnb I have stayed in on the trip. I highly recommend. The hosts are great the decor is fabulous and the outside space was so nice I had to take pictures so I could copy a few of the ideas for at home!! It’s in a quiet safe area only a short journey into the centre. It has lots of nice extras that were warmly received.

We have an incredible place for you to enjoy while staying in New Orleans! We have stocked the room with high quality bedding and towels plus other amenities. The set up is a private room that is closed off to the main house. It has a private entrance and private bathroom and access to the front porch and backyard. The location is between 5-10 minutes from I-10, French Quarter, Tulane’s Campus, Uptown, Jazz Fest Fairgrounds, and the Mardi Gras parade routes! Uber anywhere in the city for $10-12
The suite consist of a bedroom and bathroom. Along with the obvious essentials a bathroom has, you will have a mini refrigerator and microwave large enough to store some left over boxes and drinks. Don’t plan on cooking your own gourmet meal in this city, we let our professionals do it for us! And if you need any recommendations finding some, we are glad to give you some great suggestions. The bedroom has one queen sized mattress and a full size inflatable mattress that can be used if needed. The bed sheets and towels will always be clean for each guest and for longer stay guests, we would ask you to please let us know your needs and we will be sure to accommodate. The room is comfortable as we put only things in it that meet the quality and comfort we expect in our own room.
The location is conveniently located in the city. We are 2 miles from Interstate 10 (our main corridor), 3 miles from French Quarter (where our notorious “party your ass off” Bourbon Street is located, as well as the Aquarium, Casino, WWII Museum, world class restaurants galore, and numerous other attractions), 1.5 miles away from Tulane’s Campus, 2.5 miles from Magazine Street’s plethora of New Orleans boutiques, vintage shops, restaurants and antique shops, and 3 miles away from The Fairgrounds, known for hosting the Jazziest Fest in the world plus horse races too. If you are thinking you might need some tranquil relaxation after all those activities I’ve got good news. We are only 2 miles from Audubon Park and 3.5 miles from City Park- both offer breathtaking views of centuries old oak trees. OMG, did I fail to mention, that, with the exception of maybe elementary schools, open alcohol containers are permitted just about everywhere!
  • Jessica's listing is great. For my fiancee and me, we loved the fact that we could have our own little space. It did get a little noisy at times, since everything was connected, but we never thought it was huge deal. We really appreciated the filtered water that was left in the room, and there was more than enough space for all of our belongings. It is a one person shower, which we figured out pretty quickly! Overall, a good experience and Jessica left lots of stuff to put on our itinerary, checked in with us frequently, and was very receptive when we did have a problem.

    Cassandra2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • It very welcoming and it was very neatly clean. Jessica has a lot of suggestions if you are new to Nola. Definitely when I come back I will stay here again.

    Danny2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica could not have been more gracious! She responded immediately to all of my inquiries, was extremely generous with her suggestions (including that we leave our luggage at bagbnb when she was not able to accommodate a late check out due to other guests arriving later on the day), and was absolutely charming to talk to (as was Dave). We really appreciated the filtered water in the large carafes, and the fact that we didn’t need to bring our own shampoo or conditioner. We also appreciated all the tips regarding local restaurants and things to do.

    A2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica has a great place here. The room is exactly as in the pictures and it has lots of nice tips all over the place of things to see, places to eat and things to do in the area. We used these tips with no complaints! Street parking is plenty with no issues. Although we didn't get to meet her due to our busy schedule her messages were so nice and sincere. Would use again without hesitation.

  • Jessica’s place a beautiful small place! It was very cozy and welcoming. The colors were fun !

    Fatima2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica’s place was clean and functional. Check in was easy and Jessica pointed us to some of the beat Gumbo in the city.

    Candace2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place in the heart of NOLA. Everything is close. Jessica and David are super nice and very hospitable. We had a camp fire and hung out one night. Nice people, clean place, comfortable and convenient to see the sights.

    Jay2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time in NOLA! Jessica's home was a delight and would definitely stay again. The neighborhood is safe for all who want to take a night stroll and see beautiful homes. Its also a short drive to all the French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, and Garden District attractions that we all go looking for in New Orleans. My space is centrally located less than 15 minutes away from the French Quarters and just a short drive to uptown and mid-city New Orleans. It sits on a small street that mainly allows for traffic that is coming to a specific location. This makes it ideal for a certain level of privacy that many seek when wanting a quiet place to relax and unwind.
This space is called a shotgun house for it's design of being able to stand at either the front door or back door and see straight through each of the rooms. I also KEEP it very CLEAN and SANITIZED for your peace of mind.
For the most part it is very quiet and uneventful with unwanted events. Just about everyone living around this property have a schedule of some kind. There are a few renters just like you near by.
  • Great little stay. Was available to communicate and answer questions. Clean place, good value.

    Andrea2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house is located about 15 minutes by car from the French Quarter. Very clean and peaceful. Dayna was very precise and always quick to respond. In the kitchen there were no glasses, no dishes, no cutlery, something to keep in mind if someone is going to cook.

    Luca2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Really great place! Would definitely stay there again! Just don’t forget to bring your own cups and stuff! Also no wifi.

  • This house was extremely clean; which I loved. Location was easy enough to find and get to; quiet area and everyone seemed friendly that we spoke with! Would definitely stay again.

  • Dayna's place was very clean and has everything we needed for a quick 2 night stay. It is very close to the French Quarter, maybe like a 15 minute drive? There is a fridge to store all your left overs and a microwave to reheat. She is a very sweet and helpful host that will make sure you have everything you need and recommendations for great places to try and things to do.

Any cancellations made less than 7 days prior to check-in are subject to a 50% refund. ● Security Deposit: It is rare, but if you damage the home, items inside the home or items go missing, you may be charged up to $500.
  • The place was great, plenty of amenities close by walking, very clean and enjoyable experience. Branimir was a great and responsive host!

  • The best bang for your buck by far. We were here for Mardi Gras and although it’s a bit away from the city, it’s a cozy and comfy little house. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

    Kaetlyn2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed our stay at Branimir’s place. The airbnb is super cute and spacious, and is in a great location. Branimir was also very responsive. Recommend staying here!

  • Branimir’a place was exactly as describe. He was a great host and very responsive. Prompt communication and ensured our stay was comfortable. We didn’t have many request, but the few we did have he took care of immediately. The champagne/wine as a welcoming gift was such a great treat. As a New Orleans native, I pride myself on being hospitable and he displayed the true essence of “Southern Hospitality”. I would highly recommend this property and stay again when I’m back in town. Great place and host.

Cozy, cool, recently remodeled 1-bedroom apartment (500 sqft) nestled behind main unit away from oak tree-lined family friendly street with off-street parking for one vehicle. Queen memory foam bed and a pull-out queen sleeper. Three blocks from Canal street-car. Numerous neighborhood restaurants and bars with live music within 20 minutes walking distance. Four blocks to Lafitte Greenway bike path. Average Uber wait time five minutes. We're LGBT+ friendly. Short Term Rental License #17STR-14835.
Our house is a one-story, brick building set back from the street with an off-street parking space in front of it. Guests are welcome to park their (one) vehicle next to ours. We live in the front, and the Retreat is in the back. Bedroom--queen memory-foam bed, closet, two side tables with small lamps, Living room--couch with pull-out queen bed, table with seating for up to four, TV (no cable but guests can log into Netflix, Hulu, etc. with their passwords) Kitchen--stove, oven, microwave, mini-fridge, dishwasher, cookware, dinnerware for four, single-serve coffee maker Bath--shower, toiletries, towels Laundry area-washer and dryer The Retreat is adequate for some people with limited mobility since there are no steps, but there is not a ramp up to the main door, which is about 4-5 inches off the sidewalk. Please note that we require longer stays for special events such as Carnival/Mardi Gras (4 days), Jazz Fest (3-4 days each weekend), and the Sugar Bowl (2 days), among others. If you are trying to book a place around a special event, please do not take offense if we can't accept your request for a shorter period of time. Our rates vary depending on the day of week and special events going on.
The apartment is NOT in the French Quarter. It is about a 15 minute drive from most places that guests like to visit--we like to use Lyft or Uber to go to most tourist destinations. Our neighborhood is residential with some bars and restaurants dotting the landscape, from an Irish pub to Mediterranean food to burgers and live music, all only blocks away. Grocery and convenience stores are also close by. It is really in the middle of everything, close enough to all the sights to go out and explore but then return to a calmer setting to recover from your outings. Our neighborhood is relatively safe, but please keep in mind that we are in the middle of a large, bustling city. Crimes do occur in every neighborhood in the city. We feel fine walking around our neighborhood, but we pay close attention to our surroundings at all times. The block where our house is located is mostly filled with families like ours, but there are a few dilapidated houses nearby, mostly remnants from the time of Katrina. Overall, our area is a nice, family-friendly, down-to-earth place filled with locals. If you are looking for a more upscale neighborhood, you might want to consider something like Uptown or the Lower Garden District.
  • After a long day of traveling and exploring the city, returning home to a cozy, quiet, and clean retreat put a smile on all of our faces. Andrew and Caitlyn pulled out all the stops and we really appreciated it. I fully recommend staying here for your trip to NOLA... you won’t regret it!

    Holly2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in Andrew's apartment. It was very clean and conveniently located near the streetcar. There were a lot of thoughtful touches such as milk, butter, and eggs in the fridge for when we arrived as well a detailed folder containing information on where to visit! We would definitely stay again.

  • WOW! WOW! WOW! My husband is from New Orleans and we are in town quite often. This year for Mardi Gras, we needed a place to crash for 4 nights, because his parent’s house would be packed with other family members. We stumbled upon this gem of an Air B N B and I am so glad that we did! The place was spotless, location was perfect, the communication was top notch, and I loved the extra add ins (king cake, water, snacks, and parade chairs!!). AND there was a private parking spot for our rental car, which is soooo important during parade time! We will definitely stay here the next time we are in need of a place to crash! Thanks, Andrew!!!

  • -Gracious hosts who provide good suggestions for spots in the city to check out. -Clean, good amount of space, particularly good space in the kitchen, bed was comfy. -Location- Mid City neighborhood. Safe, residential, pretty houses, a little away from the action but an easy bike or a pleasant long walk down to the French Quarter via bike lane and the Green way.

    Philip2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is INCREDIBLE for the price compared to what you are getting. Almost a mini-little apartment located right in a lovely part of New Orleans--quick access to Tulane and LSUHSC-New Orleans for students/interviewees. And, there are snacks and coffee included! Definitely will stay again during my next trip to New Orleans.

Enjoy complete privacy in the guest space or visit with the hosts as you desire. Additional bedroom is available for groups traveling together or families traveling with children. Please discuss your group's needs with the host. New Orleans license number is 17STR-06526.
Private bedroom and bath in our charming shotgun house just off the Canal Streetcar line only 2 miles from the French Quarter. Guest area features private entrance, lovely patio, beautiful antique furnishings, 11-foot ceilings, petite chandelier, comfortable and clean queen bed, and cozy guest robes. Internet, cable TV, parking, oscillating fan, iron, music player, white noise machine, hairdryer, fridge, coffeepot, crockpot, and snacks are provided. The space has a peaceful, airy feel and is flooded with natural light. This listing is unique in that you have complete privacy from the main house. The guest space has its own exterior door, and you are free to come and go as you please. The garden path leading to your room features motion-activated lighting if you are returning after dark. The room is located down the garden path in the rear of the house. A second bedroom is available for groups, so the space can be made to accommodate 1-4 people. We welcome special requests and will make every effort to assist with needed recommendations. We can also provide a travel crib and other baby items if you wish to travel with your childen. We love hosting guests for honeymoons, anniversaries, and other special events. Our home is located in the historic Mid-City neighborhood, which was one of the first neighborhoods to spring back after extensive flooding due to Hurricane Katrina. Mid-City is located, as the name indicates, in the middle of New Orleans on what was once the backslope of the Mississippi River natural levee. Our home was built around 1910 and is a typical New Orleans-style shotgun house. In New Orleans at the time of construction, the shotgun house utilized a minimized lot frontage, on which taxes were based. The houses were also built without hallways and closets, which would have been counted as rooms for tax purposes. The origin of the building style and the name itself may trace back to Haitian influences on New Orleans, as many Afro-Haitian slaves lived in this area. Our house was recently featured on the HBO series "Treme", as the law office of the character Toni Bernette (played by Melissa Leo) and also as part of the interior of the home of Creighton Bernette (played by John Goodman). Guests are free to have complete privacy or to meet with the host as desired to obtain recommendations for food, drink, and attractions. Check-in is offered via a lockbox. Rates may vary during special events and holidays. Our home is located just off the parade route for Endymion, the largest parade of Mardi Gras. The festival grounds for Jazz Fest are just over 1 mile away.
Mid-City is a diverse neighborhood with its own distinctive flavor. Bars and restaurants in this area are largely patronized by locals, so the neighborhood provides an escape from the more touristy areas of the city, while still allowing easy access to the French Quarter via the Canal Streetcar Line.

    Mike2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely neighborhood stay in NOLA. The tastefully decorated rooms are exactly as described and sparkling clean. Private entrance is convenient and two entrances to shared bathroom between the two private bedrooms. Although a bookcase basically separate the rooms from the hostess’s private residence area, this was not a problem for us. A convenient mini-fridge with tea & coffee making machine is provided, as well as snacks, water & beer in the larger bedroom! There is an excellent coffee shop about 4 blocks’ walk (Coffee Science).

When we arrived to Erins place after walking all over the city, we were delighted to find refreshments when we arrived to our place! The house is in a residential area, just two blocks from the street car stop, so it was very easy to get into the city. Definitely recommend!

  • I loved staying here. The place was cute and it had everything we needed. It was a great location because it’s a quick Uber ride anywhere we wanted to go. It was also quiet so were able to get plenty of rest. Mel was awesome and provided everything we needed without us even having to ask. She was always ready with a quick response. I would definitely stay here again.

    Suzanne2019-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mel’s place was great. Very nice safe neighborhood, conveniently located and it’s a private quiet space. If my schedule allowed was hoping to spend an extra night. The only recommendations I’d make are to get window treatments for the living and dining areas- currently no curtains or blinds are on the windows. Also the outlet below the window in the bedroom is not in safe condition and is loose and falling out of the wall.

  • This was a great place to stay for my trip to New Orleans. The place is as pictured, it's a nice loft space with everything you need. Even has an original Nintendo! Mel and Lance were great hosts and responded right away to any questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Recently remodeled house with 1 queen bed and bath with fully equipped kitchen in mid city three blocks from street car and just minutes away from the French Quarter. Off street parking provided.
Build in 1891 with lots of old charm! My home was just remodeled 8/30/18! New floors, new furniture, new vanity and all new decor! Super fresh and clean!
The neighborhood is family friendly and safe! Beautiful old trees line the street and there's a front porch that you can relax on!

  • Melissa's a great communicator and her place is very clean. One thing to note - the walls are extremely thin. We could hear the people next door as if they were in our room, even though they were just speaking at a normal volume and not being loud at all.

    Clara2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderfully located - a short walk from Canal Street with streetcars to the French Quarter. Melissa was super welcoming - check-in and check-out were super easy. Would stay there again when visiting NOLA.

We felt safe at all times. The neighbors were friendly amd looked out for us. I would definitely book this place again when visiting NOLA.

  • This home exceeded my expectations. All of my guests loved the space and felt it was perfect for our trips. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms had huge tubs and the kitchen was very beautiful. I especially loved the lit patio. Christina has a great home and the surrounding environment at first was a little sketchy but after speaking with the neighbors and seeing how genuinely friendly and nice they were, it made us feel comfortable and we had no issues. I would recommend this space to anyone who is in the area and would love to stay again!

  • Beautifully decorated and the appliances were top notch. It fit 8 adult women perfectly, could have added another 2. We had room to sit around the kitchen/living room area and enjoy each other. The beds fit 2 adults perfect and slept AMAZING!! Showers and bathrooms great room. The house is cute and comfy. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you. They were very nice and the Laurel Street Bakery is walking distance with great prices!! Totally would stay again!! Uber was about $10 to go into French quarter and they only took 3-5 mins to pick up! Super easy. Uber ride to airport was around $35

My place is only: 1.7 miles from the Super Dome 3.0 miles from the French Quarters 3.0 miles from the Convention Center. 4 blks from Howie Pizza 5 blks from Xavier University. 6 blks from Save A Lot Grocery 6 blks from Popeyes and Wendy's. 7 blks from Rally's & Cane
The house a true New Orleans shotgun, living room, bedroom, kitchen and bath. However, the house is nice, comfortable and cozy. GREAT place for someone traveling on a BUDGET. Get all the comfort of a hotel and more, a comfortable bed, computer, wifi, mini refrigerator, microwave and a BANG for your BUCK!!
The neighborhood is an old neighborhood whereas many of the neighbors have been living there for years. My family have homes on both sides of the house. There is plenty of parking available, directly in front of the door or across the narrow street or the lot.
  • My sister and I had a great stay! The house was perfect and just a short Uber ride to all the fun stuff in the city. We would love to stay here again.

  • As advertised! Very clean...short Uber rides wherever you need to go. Great host.

    David2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My group and I really enjoyed this home. It was exactly like the pictures. Very well decorated, clean, and felt like home. This home is also in a great location and not far from the things we wanted to do; parades, restaurants, and of course the Bourbon St. strip! Nothing was walking distance however, Uber/Lift cost an average of $12 one way which is not bad considering the weekend (Mardi Gras kickoff). The final thing that won us over was when Dontae, the home owner, came to personally introduce himself. This was the first time this ever happened out of all the Air BNBs I’ve stayed in. That was a great customer service touch. I’m big on customer service and that alone made our stay even better. Not only that, Dontae called to get permission to enter the property because he needed to fix the WiFi, which was very considerate. Thank you for an excellent stay, we’d definitely stay again and recommend this home.

Great private guest cottage in uptown/fontainebleau area. Separate suite for couples or solo travelers with entrance from street! New construction which is a rare find in the New Orleans area. Amenities include a VERY comfortable bed, work space and desk, cable and wifi, mini fridge, coffee maker and washer/dryer.
Full use of back yard and deck! I'm close to restaurants and Tulane stadium. This would be a great place for visiting parents of Tulane/Loyola students or alumni. A very short uber to magazine, downtown or Metairie areas. Quiet street that is safe.
My neighborhood is a mix of students, young couples and families. All of my neighbors are incredibly kind and courteous. I feel very safe on my street all the time! Like all places in New Orleans exercise caution walking alone late at night, but in this area you should have no issues walking around during the day or coming and going at night from your car. I do so all the time!
  • Nice place!!

A historic Uptown home with turquoise blue Caribbean flair. Apartment is newly renovated but maintains original Southern charm. 100+ year old oaks and beautiful magnolias line the property. Centrally located and walking distance from Tulane University, streetcars and a number of great restaurants. All the amenities of home: private entrance, fully stocked kitchen (incl. Keurig & coffee), 50" curved 4k tv, queen sleeper sofa, and a king size Leesa bed! We hope you love it as much as we do!
The unit is located in the "raised basement" portion of the home, while my wife and I live on the second floor. Of course, there are no actual basements in New Orleans, so the raised basement is actually on the ground level. Because of this, the ceilings are around 7' throughout the unit. This will not effect most people but we want to make sure Airbnb travelers are aware that the ceilings are not the standard height.
We are located in uptown New Orleans within walking distance from Tulane University. It takes about 15-20 minutes by car to get to the home from Louis Armstrong airport. We are also about 10 minutes from the superdome, 15 minutes from the convention center, and about 15 minutes away from the french quarter. Great cafes and restaurants are just a couple blocks away: Luca eats, Panola Street Cafe, Boucherie, and Mos Barbecue...just to name a few!
  • What you can expect from Maxwell’s Place is it looks just like the pictures. The amenities within the home are beautiful and you have everything you will or could need. Also I fell in love with their shower! The bed is amazingly soft the home smells delightful. Also the neighborhood is safe you have nothing to worry about. Sometime within the future I’ll be more than happy to book with them again. Let me not forget to add they offered me a complimentary bottle of wine which they didn’t have to do. This was my first solo trip to New Orleans they made me feel at home away from home. Which made my trip nothing short of amazing! Once again I thank you!

    Destiny2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place for me and my girlfriend during Mardi Gras season. We arrived with a clean space and noticed they added decorations for the celebration. It was a nice touch to our stay and Maxwell's communication is quick and accommodating.

  • Rocio's AirBnB was very comfortable with two queens and two ensuite bathrooms and one half bath in the entry. Beds were comfy, decor was done well, the outside patio area was a favorite place to drink coffee in the morning. We were able to check in early and leave our bags after check-out until we caught our flight. All very easy and the space was private and quiet. Would stay again.

NorthWest Carrollton, where this apartment is located, is a New Orleans neighborhood bounded by Leonidas Street, Earhart Blvd., Carrollton Avenue and Claiborne Avenue. We're the “northern” (aka lakeside) peninsula of Carrollton, a historic neighborhood on the National Historic Register. Craftsman bungalows and raised-basement houses join a mix of early 20th-century house types and styles to define Northwest Carrollton's visual personality. Businesses along Earhart and South Claiborne serve the neighborhood's commercial needs, while Ye Olde College Inn and Rock 'n' Bowl on Carrollton number among the many dining and recreational opportunities. If you aren't sure where Northwest Carrollton is located, just look for the lion statues atop pedestals that herald the entrance to Pritchard Place, developed in 1913.
  • Wonderful spot to bring in the new year!

  • John was super helpful and responsive. The apartment was exactly as advertised. We had a great time.

    Emmanuel2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • John is a great host. The ambience was really nice- the low lighting and jazz music playing upon entering the space was much appreciated. I was nervous about the privacy but it was very private and quite and street parking was so simple. Great location near everything! We had a great time and will be back

    Jeanie2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • John is an amazing host and his home is extremely clean, stylish, comfortable and convenient. I would highly recommend this place anyone who comes to New Orleans for a stay!

    Efe2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed staying at John's place. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was HOT and had good pressure. The neighborhood felt safe and because the apartment was at ground level with John' s living space above, I did not feel like we were contributing to community degradation and gentrification.

    Erin2019-11-10T00:00:00Z

  • John was quick to respond to all messages. The apartment was very spacious for 2 people. It was clean with lots of space to store suitcases and clothes. We had a car, so getting around was easy, and parking was not a problem. The area was very residential. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Soak up traditional, Southern luxury in this remodeled half of a double shotgun-style house. Original details like the rich hardwood floors and antique fireplace mantel, along with beautiful features like the chandelier, make for a genuinely special Nola experience. Spend your days here like a local in this quiet neighborhood, enjoying a cup of coffee as you wake up in the morning and falling asleep in the plush beds as you rest for your adventures the next day.
Come make yourself at home in the other half of our shotgun double! There are two bedrooms, each with a plush queen bed and equally as plush bathrobes, and a memory foam full-size bed sleeper sofa in the living room. All rooms have high quality black out curtains to accommodate a lazy morning or two. The modern, updated bathroom has a full tub and shower as well as a variety of toiletries ready for you to use. There is a fully furnished kitchen if you decide to cook a meal in, and plentiful, local coffee for your enjoyment, should you feel like taking a second cup out on the front porch. There's a small back yard space for any fur babies who might need some outside time, some leashes and baggies for walks, and while inside, we simply ask that they not get on the furniture or beds. (Non-pet people, fear not! The entire house is thoroughly cleaned and inspected from top to bottom after each guest leaves, with special attention to carpets and filters when a guest has opted to bring their fur-baby.) Amenities: Hi-speed Wi-fi Cable Full kitchen with spices and oil Complimentary Local Coffee Washer and Dryer Hair Dryer and Curling Iron Iron and Ironing board Plush robes Extra toiletries Private parking
The neighborhood is the most family friendly in all of Nola! Lots of dog walking, baby walking, waving to neighbors, and pausing to stop for a chat. We are in the absolute center of the map- it's only a 10-minute drive or less to anywhere you need to be (PRO TIP: scroll down to note the berry-colored dot on the map... it's VERY accurate!) A block from the city-wide bike trail, and 4 blocks from the jogging trail, this is your perfect oasis after a fun day (or night!) out in the French Quarter!
  • Haley's place was perfect for our girls weekend in New Orleans! Plenty of parking, lots of little Louisiana details (like zapps chips and community coffee!), ridiculously comfortable beds, great smelling shampoo, and a perfect front porch for kicking back and relaxing! Plus everything was a super quick and super cheap Uber ride away! We would definitely stay again.

    Maria2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great NOLA stay. Haley’s house is clean, modern, and full of everything you can need. We travel frequently and this is the cleanest air b n’ b we ever stayed in.

  • This is a great place to stay in a great location in the city! Easy access to all the neighborhoods - just a short drive away to the French Quarter. Haley has excellent recommendations for attractions and dining. The off-Street parking was a major bonus! The home had ample space and a lot of charm. Haley was very friendly and helpful before and during out stay.

The private guest house is spectacularly clean, spacious and comfortable, and the property itself is gorgeous. The access to the private pool is similarly awesome. The value for this Airbnb is incredible. Keith is friendly and is communication is excellent. He is welcoming and makes the stay perfect. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in NOLA!

Only 2 blocks from the famous streetcar and 8 min from the french quarter, a quiet and clean room for 1. Private entrance for the room.Kitchen and bathroom to share in an amazing old southwest style.Very affordable with selfchecking, easygoing!
For Breakfast, very closed: -Betsy's pancake house (in front of streetcar stop) -coffee science on S. Broad av.amazing cofee and co-working place -Marjie, southern kitchen with barbecue, in and outdoor For dining, I can recommend u the Countryclub in Bywater.Pool and amazing restaurant (kitchen close at 9.30pm).Bachanal, in Bywater, good food not expensive with a huge wine's choice, jazzband every night.Curebar 4905 Freret street (upcoming area) with cocktail in trendy Brooklyn's design), Troubador hotel's rooftop for a glass, vue on the CBD.ALGIERS PONT, by the fairy ($2) go to "à tout de suite cafe", the best brunch in a historical location.
  • Great place to crash while touring Nola. The room has a private entrance as promised, which is quite convenient. There's easy street parking, so I had no problems with parking my car. The room can get chilly, but there is a great electric heater, and when the weather gets hot, I assume the ceiling fan helps. One thing to note is that wifi doesn't work in the room, so it may be a challenge for international travelers. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired, but it's manageable. Overall, the room was perfect for my purposes. While very simple, it is decorated in retro style that goes with the NOLA vibe and it was a comfortable place to crash after touring the city. There's a kitchen just outside of the room, so you could also cook, if need be. French Quarter is 30mins walking distance away. One thing to note is that the area is a bit sketchy, so you will probably not want to walk back after dark.

    Audre2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Right off of Canal Street, easy access to the French quarter! Stayed here during Mardi Gras and it was nice to be in a quieter part of town when it came time to rest or take a breather. Nicolas is a great host! He even gave me the 411 on some cool parades and things to do in town. As far as a place to stay goes, I feel this was a great choice and would recommend :) Also! If you’re like me and booked a flight that leaves after your checkout time: there’s a secure area where you can leave your luggage!

    Jacqueline2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my time at Nicolas's place. It's super convenient for getting around Downtown NOLA - whether you want to use Uber/Lyft, bike, or even walk. I enjoyed having my own private entrance, and Nicolas provided a space heater as well as an extra blanket, which I put to good use. Nicolas is very great at communicating and responds in a timely fashion. Thank you Nicolas!

The neighborhood pubs include 12 mile (hipster), Finn McCools (Irish Bar, trivia monday nights), and Bayou Beer Garden (where most sporting activities are televised), but if it's live music you crave, dMACs bar and grill is walking distance which plays live music most nights of the week. Having a little bit of everything, this 3 bedroom is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the culture of new orleans without having to pay the high prices of staying in the french quarter or fight the crowds of uptown and garden district. Parking Note: -There is plenty of free street parking, but Please inform us if you plan to bring a vehicle. -Off street parking is only available if you plan to use public transportation because Eric, the owner, uses the driveway as well. -If applicable, arrangements should be made ahead of time to secure shared driveway parking. (Limit 2 small compact cars) -Using driveway without arrangements will result in a 50$ fee.
Midcity is a quite neighborhood. We are 2 miles from the French quarter but the streetcar/tram/train can bring you there in a matter of minutes.
  • Great host, quick replies, and a great experience to sum it up:) perfect place for the price and so close to everything!

  • Eric and One Stop were great with communicating regarding our arrival and departure. In order to keep cost cheap, the property does ask that you help out a bit with cleaning dishes, some of the sheets and towels, and taking out trash. Honestly not a huge deal for my friends and I but if you don’t want to clean up, keep it in mind. The rooms are all connected and you have to walk through all of them to get to the bathroom. My friends and I are very close so again for us, not a huge deal but if that bothers you, might not be the place for you. The location is super close to the tram and Uber wasn’t expensive to all the attractions. I had a wonderful stay and would stay again!

    Andrea2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed recently and wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I had my two dogs with me. The hosts were terrific and very accomodating. The neighborhood was nice and the street was pretty quiet. The apartment was spacious and clean. My dogs felt relaxed and at home there which was a major concern. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay and I'll stay there again when I return in the future.

  • The townhouse is well-appointed, very clean, and in a good location to get away from the noise of downtown. It was very easy to get Ubers from there to downtown and back. The decorations are cool and fun and feel very "home-y". Loved my time there and would definitely stay again!

    Julia2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and cozy shotgun house! Branimir’s place is clean and very nicely appointed! We never waited more than 5 minutes for a lyft and it’s really close to the streetcar, which is only $1.25 and is a nice way to get around if you’re not in a hurry. Branimir was a fantastic host. He texted us the details we needed to know when we needed them and made us feel very special with a Valentine’s Day treat of chilled champagne. We would definitely recommend to friends :-)

    Kristen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot in NOLA! It is a little away from all the action but only about a 10 minute lyft or uber ride to the French Quarter and the Garden District. Really comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities like coffee and sugar for the morning. The kitchen has everything you need! No central heating or air, so bring flip flops for the bathroom as the floors can get cold during a winter stay. Overall we really enjoyed the AirBnB and loved our time New Orleans!

    Hannah & Matt2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was excellent! From beginning to end, Branimir was a communicative host with attention to detail. The house was perfect for our stay, and a great location for staying away from the French Quarter but a very close walk to food, groceries, and public transportation.
