  • This is a small, but cozy place. It is twin beds, the pucture is deceiving. It is in a great location, central to most places. We enjoyed staying there.

  • This is a killer deal for Hawaii. It’s in a great location in the middle of the island. The room is smaller than I expected but is very cozy and a lovely stay.

  • Lovely studio!!!! in an excellent location, quite, very cute place!

    Ivonne2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was a very quite place, nice located in the suburbs, surrounded by beautiful houses and gardens. The studio was very charming and clean. If you have a car you can park it right in front of the house which is very useful! You can arrive at any time thanks to the code, it was very easy. We had all we needed for comfort here and a little kitchen where we can cook easily to. The only thing it’s that it’s two single bed. A very nice place to sleep in Miliani !

    Lisa2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A nice and new studio space. It worked perfectly for me!

    Brent2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here while visiting Oahu. It was exactly what we were looking for. There was a fun little basket of fruit and treats and they had waters and juices in the fridge. Although this was their first time hosting, it seems like they new exactly what they were doing! I would absolutely recommend.👌🏽

  • Very quick responses to our messages. A very nice break from reality. Everything was within walking distance. Definitely recommend.

    Lucija2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect, all we needed to do was sleep there but Anthony was very accommodating! His cats stayed out of the room and I didn't have any issues with allergies.

    Molly2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • The room is comfortable, there is everything you need! I advise you to have a car, since everything is at a distance .. there are shops and coffee houses nearby. Unfortunately, Anthony could not be met, but his son met us. Our three days were comfortable)

  • A simple place to stay with a nostalgic feel to it. Tony was great and provided everything you would need. El guapo was sooooo cute, his presence added a nice feel to the place. OJ and milk in the fridge even a couple of beers. I slept real good with a nice breeze coming in. I would definitely stay again

  • If you are looking for a home-like atmosphere, you will love this place. The host is friendly & accommodating. A nice town & easy to drive to other areas

    Patty2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Tony's House is like End of 20 Century of Story. Mililani is the best place for vacation. they paid the tax for prevention of pest so, There is almost clean and cozy. And is good for running course. Front of Miliani, Big trees are arranged like Greeting to us. Is Far from Airport about 25min by car. and easy to accessing North shore and Westside very close to Dole Plantation. (just 15min by car) And Tony was good soldier and Baker of America. you can hear the story Is cool he help us cook and making korean dishes. His dog, Guafo(?) is bad guy only on strolling but, calm and looks good I miss him I hope to tony install a electric bulb on entrance. I Really recommend for here.

  • This place is a perfect home away from home! It has all the things you need, it's not far from anything, its among the locals, and the host is amazing!! The only downfall is the roosters that crow for hours in the earlier morning, and the sheer curtains. I would definitely stay again!!

    Quimani2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect hideaway tucked between the river and town, down a long, near-hidden alleyway. Centrally located on the island only two turns from the highway. Clean and comfortable space with low ceilings and plenty of windows, nice fresh air and well illuminated. Absolutely loved my time spent staying at this place. I hope many others get to experience the same slice of life. If every bnb was managed this well I’d never stay in a hotel again!

    Donald2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place with beautiful touches.. would love to come back and visit this place.. It is exactly in the center of the island

    Sandhya2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay here and wish we wouldn’t have booked a hotel in Waikiki for the last few days and just done our whole trip here. The place looks exactly as it does in the pictures. The only downside is the fact that the neighbors have chickens that start crowing around 4:45am. However if you’re on east coast time that doesn’t matter at all since we were waking up at about 4 anyway :) wasn’t a deal breaker for us. If we are able to come back we will be coming here!

    Laura2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great value in Hawaii

    Nancy2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Carla and Chris' place really is a hidden gem in Wahiawa. The home is comfortable and quiet. We absolutely loved being serenaded by the roosters and dogs in the morning. It added to the ambiance of country living. It can get hot on that part of town, but there is a window AC unit and a fan to cool things off. The driveway is long and wither you drive straight in to park in their carport, or back straight out. A bit of a challenge, but it worked out fine. The key pad entry was fabulous! The king size bed was awesomely comfy! We had the best nights of restful sleep there! A great affordable option to stay. Mahalo Carla and Chris!!

    Leialoha2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t be afraid to book this place. It’s a central location and great for those who plan to explore all parts of the island. Rental car might be needed to rent here. Heads up there is a straight shot one way long drive way so you’ll have to backout or back-in. The bathroom felt private enough even without a door. Everything was clean and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed for basic meals. It might seem annoying to some to be woken by roosters but it was a cool start to our morning.

    Theresa2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed our stay. Upon arriving with coded entry made for easy check in and out. Communication with host was extremely easy and quick. Very comfortable home with little touches from the host that will surely make you feel welcome. Thank you guys for your welcoming vibe. Will surley stay again .

  • Great central location to every where on Oahu. Great hosts. Very spacious unit great value.peaceful and quiet to come back and relax at night. Highly recommend Don and Ruth’s ABNB.

    Cheryl2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Don and Ruth's guest home was very conveniently located in the middle of Oahu. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the home itself was large enough with plenty of space to accommodate for the four of us. Traveling to either Waikiki or the North Shore was easily accessible from here!

    Paul2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great home base for our family. Very happy with finding spices and oil in the kitchen.

    Valerie2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Don & Ruth described nicely in this community. You will get what you expected as it is written. If what you want is in the center of island living or feel a local living you should choose this room with them. The room is big and hosts make sure always we are comfortable to stay there.

    Hiro2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Easy access, big unit, comfortable beds and everything you could need from a kitchen/bathroom side. Would and will definitely book again.

    Dylan2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • I was very impress with Don&Ruth's place, they are indeed super great host, we love everything about this place, we didn't need to buy any extras, there were towels and blankets all over the place and 3 air mattress, 2 twins and 1 queen, beach towels, chairs whatever you need for the beach, to me, they are the best, and I would love to stay here anytime we visit Honolulu. I recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Honolulu.

    Eme2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay, don and ruth are super responsive and helpful with anything we needed. The place was clean and very roomy, even had toys to keep my 1.5 year old very busy ! Location is very convenient to anywhere we wanted to go. Everything was perfect thank you!!

  • Very nice house and rooms to match. Kept up the living area daily. Very friendly and knowledgeable about some island hot spots. This was my first BnB experience and I would definitely go back if I need a place to stay while in HI. He made everything simple. I was very happy coming back from the day and having my own room to relax in. Also the bed was soft and plush.

    Andrew2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Mike was clear with parking and checkin instructions. The place was clean and tidy. The bed was a little firm in the room we stayed (but not uncomfortable). If you have back sensitivities it may not be a good fit for you. All and all a great place to stay if you want to explore the entire island.

    Thomas2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, we enjoyed staying at Mike’s place

    Natasha2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • A very good value! Location, while not close to the beaches made it very easy to visit various parts of the island. A good place to come and crash after a long day of hiking. Room was quiet and cozy. Mike did a great job with communication and checking was very easy. Overall a great stay!

  • we are satisfied with the stay in the house. The house was clean and comfortable. The host was nice and cooperative.

    혜영2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Such an inviting stay. Felt like we were visiting family! We had all the privacy we wanted, yet really enjoyed visiting with Prerana and Arjun. The rooms and private bath were very comfy and clean and had everything we needed. There was a mini fridge in one of the rooms stocked with juice and water for our convenience. There was a coffee bar set up complete with everything needed for coffee, tea and hot chocolate, as well as, toaster and toaster oven. They offered the full use of the kitchen, living room and washer/dryer. Beach items were available for our use too. The townhouse location was away from from all the crowds, but there was shopping and restaurants near by. We had our own parking space at no extra charge, as many places charge extra for parking. We were surprised with a welcome tray offering a bottle of wine, snacks, and a sweet note wishing us a Happy Anniversary! Then on our departure, we were sent home with a nice box of Hawaiian chocolates! So thoughtful and kind! Overall, we had a great stay! We would absolutely stay again and absolutely recommend their place! The info and pictures on the AirB&B ad are accurate. Thank you Prerana and Arjun for a great stay!

    Kim2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Prerara and Arjun were very kind with us. We felt so comfortable and the neibourhood is very quit. They provided us beach chairs and a boogie board to take with us.

    Silvia2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Arjun and Prerana truly went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. They offered snacks/water right when we walked through the door and gave us tips on what to do around Oahu. Their home is in the center of literally EVERYTHING. 30 mins from Waikiki, 15 mins from the airport, and 45 mins from North Shore. We were renting a car to travel throughout the island and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts and a better location to stay. Their hospitality was 10/10 and their place was everything we could’ve asked for. They were extremely helpful when we had questions and offered so many amenities that we will not stay anywhere else, but their townhome, when we visit Hawaii again. Thank you again, Arjun and Prerana. You truly made our stay so memorable and fun! Love, Jessica

    Jessica2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Arjun & Prerana are very helpful, friendly, accommodating & very quick to respond any questions. The house is very nice and comfortable. Location is very convenient, close to Walmart, Costco & fast food places. They are fantastic host.

    Pankaj2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Arjun & Prerana went above and beyond for what’s expected of an Airbnb. And when I say above & beyond, I mean it. They made us feel so welcomed & taken care of. Very, very comfortable stay with access to basically anything we needed. Plus, an added insight into hikes & different activities we were going to do. So helpful! I could not extend my gratitude to them enough. -E Amazing hospitality Prerana and Arjun did not stop. They provided comfortable clean rooms and full use of the kitchen, washer, and dryer. They offered to help in any way they could from picking us up and taking time to give us local tips of where to go and the best ways to enjoy yourself. They also offered any equipment they had to make our time that much better. I would highly recommend staying at this amazing accommodation. -V Like the two above stated Prerana and Arjun really are the best kind of hosts you can wish for. They are personable, kind, caring, and fun to have a chat with! If you choose to stay with them you will not regret it! -J

Waimea Valley- DON’T MISS THIS SPOT Thursday evening 2-7 Farmers market at Waimea Bay 59-864 Kamehameha Hwy. Hale`iwa HI 96712 One of last partially intact ahupuaa on O`ahu, Waimea Valley consists of 1,875 acres and has been a sacred place for more than 700 years of Native Hawaiian history. Waimea, “The Valley of the Priests,” gained its title around 1090 when the ruler of Oahu awarded the land to the kähuna nui.  Descendants of the high priest lived and cared for much of the Valley until 1886. As part of a cooperative conservation land purchase, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs acquired the property in 2006. In 2008, Hiipaka LLC was established to manage Waimea Valley and hold the deed. Highlights: Take a casual walk on a paved path through our World Class Botanical Gardens and Historical Sites 3/4 of a mile one way or 1 1/2 miles round trip from our Ticket Booth (where you pay Admission into the Valley) to our Waterfall area.   Activities Several activities (with paid admission) are offered throughout the day in different locations in the Valley.   Ancient Hawaiian Archaeological Sites Ancient Hawaiian Archaeological Sites: 78 sites of interest have been identified including religious sites and shrines, house sites, agricultural terraces and fishponds.   World Class Botanical Garden Collections The 150-acre Botanical Collection contains more than 5,000 kinds of tropical and subtropical plants including native and endangered Hawaiian plants.   Waihī Waterfall An attraction of great interest and enjoyment is the Valley’s 45-foot waterfall. Waihï is approximately 3/4 of a mile from the Ticket booth.   Retail, Food & Beverage Services Kuono Waiwai, the Valley’s retail store, showcases the work of North Shore artists and Hawaii crafters of locally made products. The Valley’s on-site concession services uses locally grown, made-in-Hawai‘i ingredients for local dining at its best.   Thousands of visitors attend the Haleiwa Farmers Market (HFM) each weekend to shop, socialize and support local sustainability. The market now has new hours on a new day and opens in the valley on Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m. As the most popular market on the island, residents and visitors drive from near and far to explore a wide array of products—all locally grown and/or made. Inside the lush and preserved valley, a visitor can buy veggies, homemade bread, grass-fed beef, organic chicken, coffee, honey, freshly pounded poi, jewelry, aloha wear, crepes, locally made pasta and even get a massage while they get their scissors sharpened—along with just about anything else that can be made locally. The market houses about 50 vendors each Thursday, many of whom sell out of their wares in one day since it's so busy. There's also something for the kids; Keiki Corner, a weekly section dedicated to children, is a place for the many little ones who come every Sunday to hang out and socialize. A bounce house is also a regular treat, along with live music. The market, including parking, can get pretty crowded, but that offers the opportunity for socializing, eating, people watching and most importantly, supporting Hawaiian sustainability. They grow their macadamia nuts and other fruits right here and you can enjoy flavors that aren’t available in stores in Waikiki, such as cinnamon macadamias. They are freshly made on this farm. And the good thing is, you can try them for free. They even offer free samples of Kona coffee in their store. Besides macadamia nuts, they also sell jewelry, art, creams, aromatic oils and other souvenirs. Besides browsing through the farm’s store, they also offer a tour of the farm, called the Alii Tour. The tour lasts about one hour and takes you to the plantation and fishpond. It also includes a demonstration on how the Hawaiians lived off the land. The tour comes complete with a super funny guide, aptly named “The Chief.” He’ll first load everyone into an old bus and drive you through the farm, pointing out types of plants and what they are used for. Then you’ll head to a little amphitheater for a show, where you’ll learn more about Hawaiian foods and customs. Your guide will even show you how to make fire by rubbing sticks together and how to open a coconut. You can try yourself and get some of the good stuff out of the fruit and snack on it. After that, your guide will take you on a short boat ride around the fishpond. He’ll tell you some more about the history of the area and include recent events, such as the filming of popular Hollywood movies. Hiking Three Hikes Not to Miss on Oahu Here, we present our top three scenic hikes on Oahu. Oahu is home to some amazing hikes that showcase views of the best parts of the island. Most hikes in Hawaii are considered more strenuous that those on the mainland, so you should be in good physical condition before you attempt these hikes. As always, make sure to wear appropriate footwear, carry a cell phone and plenty of water, and never hike alone. Unfortunately, the parking areas near trailheads are commonly high-theft areas, so never leave valuables in your car. Once you've taken a few simple precautions, you're ready to begin your hiking adventure! 1. Olomana Nestled between Kailua and Waimanalo, Olomana is a series of three steep peaks with sweeping views of the Windward side of Oahu. Olomana means, "divided hill" in Hawaiian and is appropriate description for these distinct peaks. Considered a moderate to advanced hike, this hike should only be attempted by experienced hikers. The total hike is about 2.5 miles long and contains several; steep sections where you must boulder up rocks and rely on the ropes. The best view is from the first peak, and the 360-degree view is well worth the strenuous climb to the top. Due to dangerous conditions it is not recommended to continue beyond the first peak, and several people have died going beyond this point. Please continue on only if you are a very experienced hiker. To access the trail, park outside the Luana Hills Golf Course, walk up the road, and follow the signs. The guard at the golf course is very friendly and will often offer advice about the trail conditions. 2. Lanikai Pillbox Trail If you're looking for a less treacherous hike with similar sweeping views, the Lanikai Pillbox Trail may be perfect for you. Located just east of Kailua in the community known as Lanikai, the pillbox trail traces a ridge and passes two old World War II bunkers (pillboxes). The hike is commonly attempted as an out-and-back, and takes about 30 minutes to get to the farthest pillbox. The first five minutes of the trail are undoubtedly the hardest, consisting of an extremely steep climb up a dirt hill. The rest of the hike is exposed and can be quite hot on a sunny day, but the views and cooling breeze at the top provide a perfect opportunity to pause and enjoy the beauty of Oahu. The top of the hike offers sweeping views of Kailua and Waimanalo. On a clear day you can even see Molokai! To access the trail, park along Kaelepulu Drive and look for the trailhead on the left side of the street. 3. Kaena Point On the far western side of Oahu lies the Kaena Point nature reserve, one of the largest seabird nesting colonies in the main Hawaiian Islands. The reserve is home to Albatross, Shearwaters, dozens of species of native and migratory shorebirds, and endangered plants. It’s quite common to spot a resting endangered Hawaiian monk seal, but make sure to view from at least 150 feet away! In the winter months, it is extremely common to see Humpback whale spouts on the horizon. Because this is a nature preserve, the only way to access it is by foot. It is best to drive in from the west side of the island, although you could access it from northern roads as well. The trail is fairly exposed and can be hot, so make sure to have plenty of sun protection. To access the west-side trail, take the Farrington Highway until it terminates at the trailhead. The out-and-back trail is fairly easy, flat, and is approximately 4 miles. 4. Windward Coast DIAMOND HEAD STATE MONUMENT Diamond Head Road, near Waikiki 475.0 acres. Hawaii's most famous landmark - a large tuff cone that was formed by a short series of explosive eruptions some 100,000 years ago; National Natural Landmark. Picnicking on the crater floor in a landscaped meadow; offering detachment from the city. Moderate family hike (bring a flashlight) with panoramic view of Honolulu; 5. Waimea Bay Tuck into Waimea Bay in summer and the ocean tricks you with a lazy surface ideal for swimming or watching daredevils jump from the picturesque lava rock jutting up some 25 feet right offshore. But from November through February, one of the most storied big-wave surfing spots on Oahu’s legendary North Shore welcomes gigantic swells. Watch the pros ride 20-foot-plus waves from a sunny spot in deep sand and, later, drive or hike back to Waimea Valley to a 45-foot waterfall and entrancing botanical gardens. Details: (URL HIDDEN) 6. Nu’uanu Pali State Wayside Just a 5-mile drive from downtown Honolulu, the city slowly dissolves into the waterfall-bedecked forests of Nu’uanu Valley, culminating in Pali Lookout’s 1,200-foot precipice. Step into a breathtaking wall of wind and absorb panoramas of the sculpted Ko’olau Mountains, the windward side’s offshore islets and ribbon of small towns (including Kailua, President Obama’s vacation spot). Contemplate the 1795 Battle of Nu’uanu, when King Kamehameha I conquered Oahu on-site as warriors fell from the cliffs.
  • The treehouse was a wonderful home away from home for us. We had our family Thanksgiving vacation this year for our family was in Mililani. It’s centrally located so whether we went north or south it wasn’t a bad drive. We had the greatest hikes, rented vespas, ate fun food inside and out! Having the food store close and the assortment of foods in that same mall was really convenient. Bob was great - we didn’t need to reach out to him much because he had everything prepped perfectly. Anytime I did need him - he answered right away. Mahalo Bob - we will be back!

  • I gave this location a 5 Star rating. You will have to experience for yourself to understand. In the meantime I will try place in enthusiasm into words. This treehouse is centrally located in Oahu, and for Hawaii standards for the average family, It is very spacious and very clean. It has all the amenities of home. All you need to bring is your meals and beverages. It even has a tv, but we never turned it on because we were gone all day and ate and socialized with each other very early before we left and after returning from the days activities. There is WiFi so that you can catch up on emails or social media The hosts, Bob and Sandy, are very friendly and accommodating and will communicate, via text, to make sure you are enjoying your stay. It bears repeating that This location is a hidden gem, that feels secluded, but is centrally located from all the great beaches and mountains and any other activities you may plan or discover. Overall, this treehouse location is an excellent choice and value for large families or a large group when staying in Oahu. I know I will be returning on my next trip to Oahu to this 5 Star house.

  • This Tree House is a place you would not regret booking. If we could we would just stay, relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the surroundings. Very private and cozy. Hardwood floors and breeze that come through the windows and sliding doors keeps the place cool. Loved the kitchen. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table. The whole place is just awesome. Bob and Sandy very accommodating to our needs.

  • This is as described by the host. It's a complete forest house. But if you don't have a lot of resistance to bugs, it's a very good house. The host is a very kind person. In the evening, the surrounding area becomes very dark. Marts and other amenities are also located close by car. I would like to recommend it to those who enjoy a environmentally friendly life.

Why settle for staying at one place on the Island when you can see it all!?This Chevy Express conversion van is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Sink, hot plate, tv, video games, as well as surf boards, bbq, snorkeling gear etc. Every beach on the island has a bathroom and shower for guests to use. We do recommend avoiding areas like Waikiki where parking garages are not tall enough to accommodate the van.

  • This was a great central location for our Spring Break vacation. We were glad we spent a little more to stay at David’s with the amazing yard and spa. It really felt like a retreat. The kids loved coming home to play and soak in the waterfall hot tub at the end of each day as much as they loved our daily activities. Would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

  • We had an amazing time at David’s house. We flew in from WI and loved the central location of the house on the island as it was fairly easy to get to everything we wanted to. We would definitely recommend David’s house any of our friends. House was clean and well taken care of and David was very responsive with any questions we had.

  • This is the house you choose to travel with your family. It was the same house as the picture. It was quiet, comfortable, spacious and well landscaped and I liked it all. There is a distance from Waikiki but in the center it was a better condition for sightseeing. The hosts are friendly and play well. Next time I want to choose another house

  • David's home was beautiful and simply amazing. The pictures listed do not do this place justice at all. Place was much more amazing in person. David's home was perfect for my family and I. He even made us fresh watermelon juice upon our arrival that the kids loved, super kind gesture to start our stay! Where the home was located in Milliani was perfect for us. It was about 20mins away from North Shore, 40+mins from Waikiki, 30mins from Ko'Olina beach, and 8mins or so away from major highways. We weren't into the tourist attractions and looked more for relaxing on the beaches, which is exactly what we did so the location was perfect for us. House was clean and neat upon arrival. David was very detailed with checking in and out. The home has plenty of amenities available for use such as, kitchenware, utensils, bbq grills, Jacuzzi, hammock, and large open lawn. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would definitely book with David again, much aloha.

  • The place was perfect for our stay in Oahu. There were local suggestions for things to do and places to eat within the area, anything you could ever think of needing for the beach and other thoughtful touches around the home. We rented a car through Carla & Chris and it was delivered to us at the airport with welcome leis a day before we were able to check into the home which was SO nice. I would definitely stay here again if we were ever to come back to the area. It was a great stay!

    Kerstin2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The house was cozy, clean, and filled with necessities needed. We used chairs at the beach and happy to see tips and instructions on where to purchase food, swim, and more. We took our children ages 6, 5, and 1 years old. There were two bedrooms but my kids enjoyed sleeping in the tv room as they enjoyed watching movies late at night. We definitely enjoyed our stay. We met Carla as she was prepping her other property and she was prompt and responsive. We definitely will be returning to Hawaii.

  • The space was exactly as described. We had a great time in the area, and this home was a great location for us. It was clean and well kept. We will stay here again.

  • Carla and Chris’s place is super cute and cozy. This home is located by a McDonald’s, Maui Mikes, and other great places to eat which was convenient! The home is located on a lot with another small home that shares the washer and dryer at the very end of a driveway. The check in/out process was awesome! This place is definitely a hidden gem.

    Wahiawa , Hi, United States

Newly built 1 bedroom in the breezy mountains of Wahiawa. Centrally located in the middle of the island with a 15 minute drive to the North shore and a 20 minute drive to most parts of the island. State of the art appliances, hardwood floors, and a stunning bathroom. The living room has a 65" HD tv with most cable channels, hi-speed WIFI and a queen size sleeper sofa for extra guests. The bedroom comes with a California king top of the line Tempur-pedic bed. Enjoy our eco-friendly unit.
I designed this space in January of 2017 to have an eco-friendly open feel. Solar products as well as all LED lighting help preserve our earth. Travertine and Cedar wood in the bathroom are highlighted by a large skylight to give the space a natural feel. Most furnishings are recycled Teak and Monkey pod.
Historic Wahiawa town is the birth place of the Hawaiian royalty (birthing stones) and also home to Dole plantation. We have boutique shops nearby and even a Christmas day parade. Farmers market on Tuesday and a fresh egg farm are steps away. The botanical garden is a great place to relax and eat lunch and just a 2 minute drive. We enjoy this quiet area with lots of kids and happy people everywhere.
  • An amazing place to stay in Oahu - it’s right in the middle of the island so perfect to get fast to every corner of the city! Jonathan where an amazing host and very helpful! We where so happy and grateful for the stay!

    Charlotte2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very clean and the upgrades were perfect for staying in and cooking or lounging around. The bed is an excellent memory foam mattress. The communication was good and the location was great being center of the island but I would say that the drive is more like 20 to 40 min to most locations which to me wasn't a problem. The free parking is ideal for travelers renting a car and that was the final factor that sold me! My only con is I think the price of the cleaning fee seemed a bit steep and for requiring guests to take out the trash and do their dishes. No AC but I stayed in the winter so it was cool at night and I really enjoyed hearing the wind and rain hit the rooftops as well. I was pleasantly surprised the beach equipment was available to use too. Overall I would stay here again if I rent a car and want to explore the whole island and get away from the crowds in Honolulu!

    Pak2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Jonathan for the lovely place to stay in the heart of O'ahu. It is really perfect for exploring the island. Who would like to surf on the north shore also reached it quickly. The quiet at night is perfect. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, so that you can also spend a long time there.

    Carsten2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place, your in the local area away from downtown but the scenery is so nice, close to north shore and dole plantation.

    Diana2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as advertised. This is my second time staying at this property, we liked it so much. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the place is clean and well appointed. Great location for spending time on the North Shore or getting on the H2 south to access other parts of the island. Love it!

    Vanessa2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan’s place is awesome!

    Tian2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly and helpful host. Nice area near great restaurants. Kitchen was fully stocked.

    Nancy2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse is one of the rare spaces that looks exactly like the photos. But what you can't see are the cool sigh of relief and the calm that immediately sets in upon entering. Between the cool wood accents, an endless breeze, and the most comfortable bed in recent memory, this has got to be the most at home I've ever felt in an Airbnb.

  • This was a great location for highway access to tour the island. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with various extra amenities for enjoying the beach etc. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxation at the end of the day. Jesse was very responsive and easy to work with and met us at the airport arrival with our keys.

Most visitors to the island only get to see it if they take part in a greater circle island bus tour, which they usually book at a local tour operator. It’s definitely worth a visit, not only for the many delicious goodies you can buy, but also because you can learn a great deal about Hawaiian culture. Quite a few movies and TV series have been filmed in this area, including Gilligan's Island, Fantasy Island, 50 First Dates, Lost, Tears of the Sun and Along Came Polly Back on land, you’ll enjoy a tour of the fruit trees.
  • The place is nice and great location.

  • Bob and Sandy's Treehouse home was amazing and the hospitality was great! Our family stayed in the home very comfortably and everything you need was supplied in the house, even items for the beach such as chairs, ice cooler, and snorkels! The house was very comfortable and even though there is no A/C, the house has so many windows that the breeze throughout the home was quite nice. For a very open treehouse home, there were no bugs that we saw and the home was very clean! Again, very beautiful house that made our family reunion one of the most memorable trips as we were able to relax so well in the home after each days' excursion. Would definitely stay again!

    Mari2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Everyone in our group WOWed when we toured the house for the first time. This place look much better than the photos. It's HUGE, which allows more than 10 people to stay. It does have bugs sometimes but with this beautiful forest view it's totally understandable. Overall, our groups all agreed that staying at Bob's place is the best decision we made for this trip. :)

  • Perfect getaway for just the two of us! We loved that the house wasn't in the center of the hustle and bustle of Honolulu or Waikiki, but in close proximity to both. It was nice to be able to stay in an area that was peaceful and quiet; we liked being closer to the Dole Plantation and the small-town feel of Wahiawa! If you like to eat out, there are several local eateries close by. Hayley was absolutely wonderful to work with - any questions we had, she was quick to answer and was so helpful! We highly recommend this little place. :D

  • Such a great place to stay in the center of Oahu. Very convenient location every time we visit. Hayley is a great host. Responds quick and makes sure that we are settled in. We had a few changes, but she dealt with them with ease, which is much appreciated. The place was amazing and very accommodating. It is just as it is listed in the photos and the description is accurate. Really appreciate the cleanliness of the place and the convenience of checking in. It was the perfect getaway for my friends and I for the weekend. We hope to come back!

    Rochelle2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • My Mom, Aunt, and I stayed at Hayley's place and we were all very comfortable! The bed in the bedroom was so comfy! We really enjoyed having access to the beach towels, boogie board's, and snorkel gear....all things necessary when on O'ahu, but not easy to pack. We would definitely stay here again!

    Molly2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying at Haley’s place! This spot was a perfect location to access the North Shore and the city!

    Sarah2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Hayley’s house is very clean and has everything we need. And it has a great location which is near North shore, pearl harbor and the airport. It also takes less than 1 hour to Kualoa Ranch and Polynesian Cultural Center. Hayley has a beautiful family and they’re all very friendly. My family of five had a wonderful stay at Hayley’s house.

    囡囡2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Hayleys place was great. It was in the old part of town so it was pretty quiet. It’s away from all the people of Honolulu and Waikiki. We didn’t mind having a place so far from town cause we were too busy finalizing our wedding at the North Shore. The place has everything you need, beach towels, cooler, basketball hoop, etc.

    MarxLester2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Hayley was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when she welcomed us. She provided everything we needed and were available at all times to answer our questions very quickly. She was also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The guest house is very clean, comfortable and nice with lots of local touches. It is located in a quite area but also close to a big supermarket. This place fits perfectly for 4 people. We were 6 people from the same family so it was ok if you don’t mind to use the living room as a sleeping room. There is no real kitchen but Hayley bought us a brand-new BBQ Weber with gas. Another good thing is that the house is equipped with all of the necessities for snorkeling, bodyboarding or surfing, towels for the beaches, and a big cooler with wheels for our beverages and lunches. You could tell that Hayley made sure that her guests will enjoy a perfect stay in Hawaii. We would highly recommend this wonderful guest house.

    Sandrine2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Hayley and Christina's place has a lot to offer! My family (my husband, mom, dad, and myself) found their place really quiet, relaxing (you'll hear birds chirping during daytime), and calming (you'll appreciate the gorgeous view of the backyard). We borrowed their big cooler box and beach towels on the beach day. We were group of 4 adults, and everything we needed for a nice beach day was there. We didn't borrow the equipments for activities like rubber fins or Bodyboards, but you can ask them about that it you need! Hayley and Christina were pretty quick to respond. We had an amazingly relaxing and comfortable stay at their place while visiting many sightseeing spots (farms, museums, beaches, etc). Their place was perfect for a family!

  • Great place, centrally located. Shops and restaurants a short drive away. Room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. This was our second stay with Claire and the place is in just as great condition as it was two years ago.

  • Awesome apartment, which is well located, good euquipped and very clean. Claire is super friendly and responded very quick. High recommandation!

    Andreas2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Claire's place was AMAZING! A wonderful central location to all sides of the island! The bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies. While the unit had a kitchen we didn't have time to cook as much as we planned. But we did make use of the microwave and fridge for leftovers, and the toaster for bagels. Guests before us left plenty of reef safe sunscreen for us to take advantage of. Having access to a washer and dryer was hands down the best thing, it was awesome to do a load of laundry half way through our stay and then the night before so we're not traveling back with dirty clothing. We never did get time to enjoy Claires pool but it looks amazing! Overall one of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in!

    Melissa2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I only had a few vacation days (roughly 5 days) and wanted to travel to paradise on a budget. I had been to Hawaii 3 times prior to this trip but my boyfriend had never been. Because of this and our short time on Oahu, I wanted to pack our days with activities as much as I could. With Claire’s Airbnb centrally located on the island, we were able to get everything in that we wanted with some time to spare. Most days we got up and left before the sun came up and didn’t get back to the Airbnb until after dark. I never felt as though we were bothering anyone leaving this early in the morning. The unit was around the side of the main house and was pretty private. Parking was on the street and we never had an issue finding a spot to park. In fact, we parked in the same spot everyday. The space itself was exceptionally clean and the pictures/descriptions in the post are exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable. While we didn’t use all of the following, they were there for our use if needed: full sized fridge, stove top (no oven), microwave, coffee pot, iron/ironing board, blow dryer, clothes rack with hangers, dresser, a/c unit, ceiling fan, smart TV and a host of other items. There is a washer and dryer on the property and we asked if we could use it. Claire was gracious enough to let us use it with our own detergent and provided detailed instructions. She was very thorough in her communications with us and very hospitable. She even offered us warm cookies one day! I will say that it did take us a few minutes each day to get out of the neighborhood and onto major roadways to get to our destinations. However, this was not a major issue and we quite liked being in a neighborhood versus the hustle and bustle of resorts. Also, even with the few extra minutes in our travel time, the unit being centrally located on the island helped with our planning each day. I will most definitely recommend Claire’s Airbnb to anyone traveling to Oahu. It will also be the first place I look to for lodging when I return to Hawaii.

    Leah2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute little place. Very quiet area.

    Yazmin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • In my opinion, it’s silly to book an expensive place while in Hawaii since you’ll be spending most of the time outdoors. This place was perfectly accommodating and very clean. It’s a little far from “activities” but with a car, it’s very manageable. I would definitely recommend.

    Shayan2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Good location for visiting Oahu. Small, well-equipped studio for two people. You need a car to get around, because no service within 10 min by car.

    Danielle2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute little place. It was pretty clean and had the essential basics! It’s a smaller place but perfect for a couple who spends most their time out and exploring. The kitchenette and full size fridge and freezer were nice additions. Claire was very detailed and easy to work with- a big life saver was the on property washer machine we were able to use a couple times! Great little place we will keep in mind for future trips!

  • Nicolaus is an attentive and helpful host. He went out of his way to help us check in - near midnight! and encouraged us many times to contact him with any needs whatsoever. He was very kind and helpful in directing us around the island. We were happy to find the apartment clean and insect-free!!! Excellent air movement, a perfect AC system, and contemporary finishes!

  • Nick's place was absolutely perfect for me for my 6-week stay for my pharmacy rotation in every aspect - location, convenience, space, & amenities. I was surprised to learn that Nick personally just renovated the place himself, & he did a heck of a job! It's got a simple, clean, modern vibe to it and has everything you need! Not only was the place itself a really great place for a really great value, the grade A hospitality was a personal touch that goes beyond price. He put in every effort to make sure I had a wonderful stay, and was so open and accommodating when I even needed to borrow baking tools/appliances that weren't included the airbnb listing! It was also really great getting to know the neighbors & feeling so welcomed since it was my first time visiting the island. I'm very grateful I lucked out booking Nick's place & recommend his place to anyone! 10/10, would stay here again :)

  • The place was very clean with excellent amenities. It was like a hotel stay but more homey and comfortable. Nicholas and Keli were very helpful and responded appropriately and quickly to anything I needed. The place was everything I needed and more during my stay with friendly hosts. I would definitely recommend this place as it has everything you could possibly need and more and is priced very well in comparison to lesser places.

Wahiawa was once the "Pineapple Capital of the World" in the 1920's and is now the "Gateway to the North Shore". Located on the road to the North Shore, you'll find the Dole Plantation and Maze about a 10 minute drive away. Easy access to the H-2 Frwy will get you to the airport in about 20 minutes (17 mi).
  • Wahiawa is a perfect location for working in wahiawa! Especially if you work in Wahiawa. The barber shop downstairs plays music so it’s one thing to be mindful in if you plan on sleeping during the day (which I didn’t) they open late and close early so it’s not obtrusive but it’s the only thing someone might want to know. It’s located right on a main road so you have quick access to major transit and a vein to the rest of the island. Maui Mikes which has hosted celebrities for decades is 30 seconds away. The new coffee shop across the street “Surfers Coffee shop” is the mid-way destination for much of the islands surf culture. Lots of food and amenities nearby. Lightning fast internet. It went down one day and they had a back up plan with the barber downstairs and I was back online in 20 minutes. The TV’s have prime and cable. Lots of entertainment. Huge fridge, dishwasher and lots of parking. Way nicer than I thought, air conditioners pound out cool air. Easy check in process and at no point did I feel like I was in an unsafe area. If you’re looking for a place to live/work this is a great option.

We are much closer to the Honolulu Airport, Downtown and Waikiki compared to Waipahu, Ewa Beach, Mililani, Kapolei, Makaha and Wahiawa. So sitting in Honolulu traffic isn’t as bad as the other cities mentioned... so choose us!
  • Great location for touring the island. Felt like it was just minutes from everywhere. Loved the views as we left in the morning. Enjoyed the private setting but having host available to take care of any concerns. Her response was gracious and prompt. Bed was very comfortable and shower head worked great! Quiet street....worth the extra drive! Thanks Claire!

  • It’s a beautiful place, very cozy and spacious! My wife and I loved it there!

    Jordan2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is perfect for two people. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well-stocked; the location quiet and local. There is a fridge/freezer if needed. There is a gas station and restaurant less than 1 block away, which was perfect for late-night snack or a quick dinner. We loved the place and would stay again when visiting Oahu!

    Jessica Stephanie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and comfy place. Glad it had and AC and fan. Parking was never a problem. Wish i had time to use the pool and tennis courts. I never met Claire but she responds quickly and check in was a breeze. The kitchen is loaded with condiments!

    Debbie2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very clean and full of cleanliness. Facilities, amenity were able to spend very comfortably more than expected. Claire was very helpful because she was always in touch and politely supported me. Thank you for supporting this wonderful trip!

  • We stay in Clair’s place 10 days with our family . Place is like in pictures . New , clean . Claire is really nice person and responds to questions quickly. It’s nice place , kind of in middle of island , good location. Recommend highly if You don’t wanna stay crowded areas In Honolulu

    Kenneth2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place and apartment, wish back to there again:)

    Tsung-Chou2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a great spot. Very quiet and close to some good hikes and not to far from Great things to do. Quiet is the key word, not a spot to go to if you are looking for adventurous night life in walking distance. But if you want a great spot to chill, hike and do some great day trips from, this has been one of the the best Airbnb spots I have stayed at on all of the islands. Small, simple, clean, and easy. I couldn't ask for anything better.

A house up on a hill looking into the valley in a quiet neighborhood. We recently renovated our house. Renting out a studio with a private entrance, kitchen, bathroom and parking. PLEASE NOTE THE BACKYARD WOOD DECK IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Maki is a professional therapist and offers a massage for $60. Centrally located in Oahu. Rent-a-car is recommended.
The studio has a queen bed and a full-size sofabed. It was added and finished in 2018. You have a complete privacy, but we share the walls.
10 min from H1 freeway exit 10. Very quiet neighborhood. Centrally located, making it easy to drive to any directions on the island. Although there is a bus, we strongly recommend a car.
  • A great place to rest and relax away from the busy areas. The scenery around the neighborhood was breathtaking and the room was very enjoyable! It was exactly what we expected and more. We were not around much but it served its purpose above and beyond what we could have asked for. Also, their sense of style and design is very exciting and interesting!

    Michael2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • We very much enjoyed staying with Maki & Jim. They have things setup in a great way for their guests and are located ideally central to the island. We had a nice clean and spacious studio room and felt very at home. Maki and Jim were superb hosts, they were always super responsive, friendly, and gave great trips for places to visit around the island. I would definitely recommend staying with them. They truly made our trip to Hawaii that much better!

    Jessica2019-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Doesn’t get any better than him and Maki’s place! Beautiful and comfortable and super clean! She had beautiful flowers waiting for us when we arrived. The hot tub was clean and ready for us after a long day of travel. She gave us tips on where to get takeout after a long day of hiking and even stayed up late to give me an amazing massage! We can’t wait to return and stay with Jim and Maki again!

    Rachel2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Maki and Jim’s place was amazing, it was my first Airbnb and It was the perfect getaway. They have set a standard for my future Airbnb’s.

    Kevin2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Located in the Pacific Palisades of Pearl City, Jim and Maki's studio was very clean, spacious, quiet and the kitchen was well equipped. Their backyard faces a federal reserve(?) and the scenery is beautiful. You need a car to get to the store. The traffic to and from Honolulu can get quite slow moving during the morning and late afternoon hours. I highly recommend the studio if you want to stay away from Waikiki...

    Paul2019-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Maki's place was wonderful! Clean and simple. The images and descriptions are accurate. It truly felt like home after a long day. Not only was the place nice, but Jim and Maki are incredibly sweet. They helped us with everything we needed (they even let us borrow their vacuum to clean our rental car). I would highly recommend this place if you are in Hawaii!!

    Julie2019-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and maki are great hosts!!! Their home is situated in a quiet neighborhood, close to “town” and airport. It was so nice to be at the airport 15 min after I left their home at 4:30am. They are quick to respond to all questions and are very accommodating! Their studio space is newly renovated and beautiful! Fantastic pricing! I’ve recommended their place to someone who will be visiting over the summer. Thank you, Jim and Maki for a great stay- I thoroughly enjoyed our few minutes of conversation and wish I had more time to visit with you. Mahalo Nui Loa 🌸 Melissa

This peaceful and quiet 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Amenities are similar to what you would expect at a four star hotel (toiletries, utensils, cookware, beach towels, foldable chairs, an ironing board, a large cooler, a blow dryer, and much more!). Conveniently located near Waikele shopping outlets, Central Oahu Regional Park, and several great restaurants.
This house includes split air conditioning in all living areas. No other renters or host will be at the property during your visit. A four-stage water purification system is installed (small faucet next to kitchen faucet). This very pure water tastes much better than bottled water.
This central Oahu neighborhood is very peaceful! The neighborhood is known for its beauty and is very well-kept.
  • Moe's place was great! The location was perfect, communication was always quick, and all of the beach extras like towels, chairs and cooler all came in super handy. We were a group of 9 adults and we all had enough space and beds to be comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

    Kelly2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had great experience. Recommend it.

  • Highly recommended home for any size family. Home had everything we needed and more. Very spacious, clean, and beautiful home. We would definitely say this is one of the best homes we have stayed at. Thank you Moe for the great hospitality! -Daniel&Jessica

  • Moe is very easy to communicate with. The house is set in residential area so very quiet. Everything you need.

  • Great location to access many places, close to a shopping center with good eating & grocery store, great amenities, & very responsive host. House is spacious, clean & comfortable.

    Maureen2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Clean home and neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Stores, grocery, and restaurants in less than 5 minute drive. Mo had amenities on arrival which was very thoughtful. It was very appreciated after a long flight and evening arrival. Had eggs, coffee, pancake mix, every spice/condiment you would ever need, and even laundry detergent for the in house washer and dryer. There is a beautiful canyon view from the back patio to drink your morning coffee. Also a nice family style kitchen and living area. Mo was always quick to respond, and accommodated us when our stay extended a couple days longer. I would gladly re-book for future stays.

Check in time is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Off the grid mountain retreat and refuge Rural tropical agricultural farm Country gravel farm roads Relaxing place of reflection High elevation with panoramic views You need to rent a rental car no Uber’s or taxis or the bus.
    Small but cozy.
Off the main power grid and county road system.
  • Our stay with Peter, Bonnie and Tracy was wonderful. We went in knowing that it was off grid and we were met with such a lovely space! The views from the farm are incredible- having a morning coffee and looking out over Honolulu, Waikiki and the mountains, with the sun rising is fantastic. The quiet and calm of the place was perfect. It was conveniently placed on the way to the north island with easy access to waikiki as well. If you're adventurous there's hiking nearby which was great and Tracy is an awesome meditation/mindfullness/yoga leader who can take you through fabulous exercises to fully relax. Bonnie will make you feel right at home and is incredibly welcoming. Overall we had a wonderful time :)

    Courtney2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this little slice of paradise, especially because it was far away from the city yet had great views of the busy life below. My daughter loved staying here and the hosts were super lovely people and so kid friendly. Hope to come back and stay again in the future. Absolutely adored this little handmade shack and had great chats with the hosts about building, hiking and society.

    Amber2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • For those looking for a rural escape from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Waikiki without a super long commute, this place is perfect. Off-the-grid living, open-air construction, cozy and quaint and just lovely. The views are absolutely incredible, with sunrise over the mountains, the lights of Honolulu at night, and views of the ocean during the day. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, and offer morning yoga sessions upon request. The bed is comfy, and despite being off the power grid, guests have access to lanterns and clean water, a place to charge a phone, a hot shower, and a propane cook stove for making coffee and meals. This was exactly the mountain retreat that I needed. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends if they were coming to Oahu.

    Alyssa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Backwoods hideaway halfway between the south and north of Oahu. No frills expected, but some provided (fresh papaya and avocado off the tree, hot beverage in the morning). Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Oahu's freeways? Live like a local and hit the late afternoon surf? Here's a great home base.

    Michael2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space high up on the mountain, cute little shed with super comfy bed. The whole fam is super sweet. The place is about 15 mins off the main road down a steep dirt path just so anyone reading this knows you need a big and reliable car to get there for sure!

    Jacqui2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Peter, Tracy and Bonnie are very welcoming! We liked the animals too, which are really adorable. The view is magnificent and in the morning the sun often sinks on the ground. It's the perfect place to relax, feel at home and get away from the noise of Honolulu

    Laurence2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • A bit hard to reach at the house, but it has great host, view atmosphere!! Must check out

    Shota2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great off-the-grid retreat in farming community. Highlight of the stay was the outdoor shower! Bonnie the host was very hospitable and made us feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as we arrived. There are also 2 cats + a dog that are all friendly and hang around. Plus the occasional chicken. Remember to bring bug repellant (mosquitos come out at dusk) & ice if you’re looking to store any perishables!

Quiet and convenient residential neighborhood that make you really feel like home. Pearl City is one of the most convenient locations on Oahu to get to the downtown areas, Waikiki, the airport, to travel to West Oahu, or even to the beautiful Oahu’s North Shore. The Pearl City area is a great climate also. You have your cool days, you have your rain, you have a variety of nice tropical weather.
  • The communication was great, and the suite was clean and comfortable. The location was great for a user with a car, as Pearl City was central to everywhere we wanted to go. Overall it was an amazing experience and would recommend them to anyone wanting to visit Oahu

    Justin2019-08-02T00:00:00Z

  • Nicole and her husband are friendly and accommodating! They are very knowledgeable of Hawaii and the sights to see. You can stay secluded in your room if you want, but we greatly enjoyed hanging out with them in the common areas. Spaces were clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the sound of rain and birds throughout the day. Wahiawa is a great central location for exploring the whole island.

  • Definitely one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. The place is very clean and I’m usually very picky about that. I really appreciated staying in a place with nice touches in decor. If you have young kids, it’s perfect with the bunk beds and crib. Other kid friendly amenities are a plus and makes things easier with young kids.

  • There is so much to say about this place! The location was in a quiet place, with a clean area and located close to a coffee shop and some restaurants. It was off a quick drive to many beaches and was easy to navigate. The space was very clean! We walked in and everything had a place and it felt clean and new. There were many little touches that made our stay easy. If we had any questions Nikkie was quick to respond and amazing to work with. If you have a baby it’s wonderful! There is a changing table, baby bath, high chair, crib, stroller and many baby toys. There was also a bumpo. All of these items were very clean also, which made me feel safe using them for my 8 week old. Check in and check out were very easy and you can tell they take pride in their home by how it’s kept! There is laundry on site which was awesome for having all of the kids with us. The bed was firm, but comfortable. The kids slept great in their space also. I loved that they had a little book to leave travel notes! We did leave some beach toys, but the best thing left there for us was the umbrella and the stroller! We would gladly stay in this unit or another unit rented by this host!

    Deanna2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This property is awesome! The place is clean and quiet. The host responded to any issues very quickly. We found out a hair dryer was not working on the first night. I messaged her, and the next day we received two brand new hair dryers delivered to our unit. The amenities provided were also great. They even have a few snorkeling gears, kids sand tools and floaties for you to borrow. The location is very close to the airport and Pearl Harbor (~15 min ride). It's a bit far from Waikiki area (25 min without traffic and more than 1 hour with traffic), but it's ok with us since my boys are into war stuff more than shopping. (My wife was a little disappointed though, haha) There's also a Walmart close by, very convenient. We have 2 seniors, 2 adults and 2 kids and there are enough beds and rooms for us to stay comfortably. This is a great place to stay for family.

    Ruth2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, Comfy and easy to find! Box of chocolates on table was nice and flowers in front yard were gorgeous! Would totally recommend this place for small family! Thank you!

    Tara2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of the best hosts and places we've stayed at through Airbnb. It's incredibly spacious, and easily hosted 5 adults and an infant. Lots of room to cook, eat and RELAX! In the center of the south side of Oahu in Pearl City, it's close to the Pearl Harbor memorial, as well as HNL airport. Only a 30 minute drive to either side of the island if you are lucky to have light traffic. We never spent more than 45 minutes in the car traveling in either direction. The hosts have thought of so many little things that are not always included and just make the stay that much more friction free and like you're right at home at mom's. Small touches like the extra towels and linens, super clear check in and check out instructions, and lots and lots of family and baby friendly amenities. We were even able to go snorkling and boogie boarding with the shared beach equipment! There are so many great things they have made available and have thought of to provide, that you'll be so glad to have! We would highly recommend staying here if it's close to where you need to be. If you want access to the airport, or a reasonable drive to Waikiki, you'll really enjoy this place. We had an incredible time while staying here. Our stay was definitely a "wow" experience!

Mike was a helpful, and outstanding host. We love that we could use the kitchen. We would and will recommend Mike's place to any and all. Karen & David Mackie

  • In the middle of the island so you could go anywhere easily within the day. The area was clean and quiet and we enjoyed our stay thank you very much.

  • Great location, easy to get anywhere. Very suitable for family who has kids.

    Hsiao-Pei2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great central Oahu location, close (30 minutes) to all sides of the island and plenty of local eating options. Perfect setup for our family (couple plus 3&7 year olds) with kids in own bedroom across hall from our bedroom which had half-bathroom. Kitchen was stocked with basics to allow cooking breakfast each day after initial trip to grocery around corner. Quiet/safe neighborhood, easy to find. Reliable/fast internet, cold A/C in bedrooms. Host very organized and responsive. Highly recommended!

    Lorraine2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We used it for 3 generations traveling with children 1 year and 9 months old and 4 and a half years old. Because it is located in the center of Oahu, it was easy to access any tourist destination for us. We had all the tools you need to cook yourself. I didn't bring a stroller so I was grateful that I was able to borrow it. The room is stylish and I would recommend it to travelers with children!

  • Alexi was a great host. The house was clean and neat. She responded to my questions quickly. I would stay here again when I come visit.

    Jenel2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Alexi's Home is just as described. Cozy and comfortable. Conveniently close to all your shopping needs. Walmart for necessities, Foodland for your Poke :) and various strip malls with plenty of eats. Also close to freeway access. Plenty of beach towels . Use of the Laundry room was a plus. Group was very quick to answer all our questions. Mahalo!

    Matt2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Alexi was wonderfully responsive to my inquiries and concerns! The location was just as described - located in a quiet neighborhood near a local supermarket, as well as a 24hr Walmart + Costco! We discovered the premium outlets nearby too!! Very convenient to hop onto freeways and transit to all parts of the island. Lots of space to park on the street and one dedicated parking spot. Our party was a group of 8 (6 adults, 1 child, and a toddler) and we fit just perfectly at this location! Plenty of amenities for groups/family with a few kids. Definitely will come back next time we’re in Oahu!

    Linda2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Alexi’s house looked exactly as it did in the pictures. Everything was clean and ready for us to use. The check-in and check-our was super. The one time we had to ask Alexi a question, she responded right away!

  • This home was perfect for our party of 11. It was spacious, had a great backyard for downtime for the kiddos and very clean. You guys were very kind to have bought a pack n play for our one year old and to have beach necessities. This home was close to everything we needed, including our family we were visiting. Thank you for your quick response when we had some technical issues. Your house was a home away from home. Mahalo and Aloha!!

  • This is located in a quite place and in the middle of the island. We had our own vehicle so it was very easy for us to travel everywhere. We took a walk in the morning and walked to famous Leonard’s bakery which was five minutes away. We took a trip to each side of the island everyday which was convenient starting from this location. We woke up every morning to the music of birds chirping which was super relaxing. The host is outstanding and helped us with all of our needs. I would highly recommend this place for anyone.

  • Big bed, 2 rooms, kind host! Perfect!

    Sujin2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation is awesome! The rooms and the bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Linda and Stephen are great hosts. They are very generous and helpful. So they offered us water, soft drinks, fresh papaya from the garden and much more. Since we had problems with the rental car on the day of our arrival, they drove us around in the evening and showed us a part of the island. Stephen also took us to Navy Base and gave us a little tour. On the day of our departure Linda cooked us a delicious Chinese dish. I would highly recommend the accommodation and come back immediately!
