  • A great clean, safe, and cozy environment to study and relax. A nice getaway from home.

  • It's a great stay, very comfortable, one where you feel good about it. We really enjoyed our stay. It is lacking a TV (fine for us) and the bathroom set up is a bit unusual which one can see in the photo's. WiFi is very good. The location is in a very small hamlet/village, with a small store to buy some staples. We got this as a place to stay while going to Killington. It is about 50 minutes away, while it was a longer trip then most stays there, it's also very nice to have a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the ski crowds. From wife: beds were comfortable, room temp was nice. Kid: I would describe the the place very well, it was awesome, beds were comfy, I likes the games that were there.

Your accommodations are minutes from Rutland City, Killington & Pico, the Northeast's premier ski and golf resort. Hiking and mountain biking at Pine Hill Park is but a few minutes from the Benincasa Inn. Several nearby lakes provide spectacular kayaking and outdoor opportunities. A short drive from Rutland is the beautiful McLaughlin Falls, as well as other attractions like Wilson Castle in nearby Center Rutland.
Built around 1890 to 1900 the Benincasa Inn is a few minutes walk from historic downtown Rutland, VT.
The Benincasa Inn is located in the historic South West section of the City of Rutland. One of my neighbors has been living next door for the past 50 years. The street is comprised of single and two family dwellings. A well maintained public space know as "Meadow Street Park" is less than a 4 minute walk down the street. I have enjoyed this wonderful outdoor space since I was a child. And the most spectacular mountain biking and walking trails, such as "Santa's Little Helper" are waiting for you at Pine Hill Park about a mile away. Pine Hill Park is truly one of Rutland's finest gems.

We offer a two-story in-law apartment with a private entrance that is attached to our 1850 Poultney Village home. We are located a block away from Main Street with shops, books, and eateries. We are in the lakes region of Vermont, close to both Lake St. Catherine and Lake Bomoseen. Killington is 35 miles away. We are also located a mile from the NY border and the entrance to Lake George and the Adirondacks.
Our apartment is suitable for up to two adults. The bedroom and bath are upstairs. Linens and bedding for our queen-sized bed will be supplied. The bath contains a porcelain bathtub shower. Downstairs has a kitchen and a sitting room that has a small futon and a couple of chairs. The kitchen area contains a small refrigerator with freezer, a sink, and an apartment-sized stove. You can find our cast-away cookery there, as well as dishes and utensils. Our guests are letting us know that our Internet connection is spotty. Our house is old and our walls are thick. We also do not have a television in the apartment. We have placed our iPod and its base station on the bookshelves. It is loaded with its 1,947 songs, so if you so choose, we hope that you find a few selections for your listening pleasure!
Poultney Village is small-town Vermont. We boast seasonal events like an outdoor farmers market in Poultney on Thursday mornings and in Rutland on Saturdays, a walkable town (and we live in the middle of it!) with a community library, a used bookstore, a diner, a tavern with music many nights, a rail trail, and Slate Valley Trail System and literally miles of trails and dirt roads, all accessible from our neighborhood.
  • Thoughtful, clean and cozy! Couldn’t have asked for more. Anne and Brad put so much thought into every detail and created a cozy small space to make you feel at home

    Jess2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Anne and Brad have such a coast place with very neat style. You can tell how much thought goes into their guests stays from all the tiny touches that create an amazing experience. They have also put together a thorough guide on local eats, trails, and activities if you find yourself with spare time! Anne and Brad definitely deserve the term "super hosts."

  • This lovely property is just as described. Nicole is an excellent host. Clean and comfortable home away from home! Would recommend!

    Kathryn2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great time. Great location. Nicole was wonderful. We really enjoyed our time there. Close to town for a drive or walk. Close to great trails too.

    James2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Nicole is a great host! Very sweet and accommodating. She helped answer all questions and was super responsive literally to the minute!

    Jen2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nicole has thought of every detail to make her Apartment 1 unit comfortable. It’s extremely tidy. She is a responsive and conscientious host. We appreciated the AC running when we arrived with 90 degree heat. Her location was perfect for our needs and it was a great space to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. Thank you for all the snacks, bottled drinks and a stocked cupboard.

    Eileen2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely Stay. I didn't originally notice from the photos how Christian the decor is. We thought it was funny, but if bible quotes on the walls, towels, and shower curtain make you uncomfortable, be warned. But it was very clean and comfortable. Nicole even left out snacks, and there were staples in the fridge. Such Christian generosity! :)

    Nell2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot! Highly recommend over one of the local hotels. The food and drinks she left were perfect. Nicely decorated with little vignettes of antiques that were interesting to look at. Thank you, will stay here again if available for the next time we are here!

    Kaitlin2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nicole’s place is immaculate and chique, it’s very spacious and easily accommodates a small family or two couples. It’s very close to shopping, city center, and the mountains. Nicole strives to make her guest for comfortable and special. Will definitely book again.

  • Plenty of room and close to the mountains. Highly recommend!

    Debbie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an incredible value based on the amount of guests allowed and the last minute availability I found. The place was much bigger than expected and I imagine could easily support 6 guests. Paula was very hospitable and went above and beyond. The local town is minutes away, and Killington is an easy drive. My only annoyance was the noise from the street, which I got over.

    Brian2020-02-15T00:00:00Z

Upstairs apartment with private entrance.Spacious dining and living room. Kitchen area just remodeled with new refrigerator, stove and cabinets. Small bathroom that also has been updated. Just minutes to downtown Rutland. 5 minutes to the Long Trail. 25 minutes to Okemo and Killington ski areas. Hiking and biking right out the door.
  • Marks place has everything you would need to have a mountain getaway. He was kind enough to stock the fridge with a few extras for me which was very welcoming. Close to town but very quiet and comfortable. Close to Killington for skiing. Would highly recommend Marks place for anyone going to the area.

    David2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mark was very hospitable, showing us around the apartment and giving us some tips for the heat. The apartment was roomy enough for both of us. The bed and sofa were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room with the kitchen.

    Sarah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Loaded with Vermont country charm but plenty of modern conveniences! This was a comfortable place to stay for an extended weekend skiing at Killington. The full apartment was a home away from home to us, not just a place to sleep. Close to any shopping/restaurants you might need, and not far from the mountain. Mark was very helpful and responsive to our needs as host. We'd return without hesitation.

    Mark2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Mark and his rustic apartment were a great Comfy place for a ski trip up to VT. Quiet on a back road. We got in a little late and Mark was at the door flicking the lights on and off to indicate that we were in the right place. The place was awesome, close to rutland. The drive up to sugarbush at 90 minutes wasn’t bad and the drive the next day to killington was easy too.

Walking distance to downtown restaurants, bars, and farmers market. 3-bedroom apartment with private upstairs entrance - great for families or skii buddies! Close by to hiking trails, biking trails and skate park. Good location to get to Killington and Pico for winter fun! Your host, Sean, lives in the downstairs unit if you need anything. Otherwise, he will leave you alone so you can enjoy your stay and make yourself at home! Couples, families, or groups of any kind are welcome here.
Yes, there is a vinyl record player you can use! You can play anything from the large record collection (there is classical, rock n roll, disco, hip-hop, traditional, and EDM), or use the aux cord to play your own tunes. I love it when people can enjoy music and have fun with their friends, family, or significant other! I have a mini whiteboard I use for leaving a greeting/info so feel free to draw on it or write your own note to me! The air-bnb community is great - I didn't even mention doing this before and people had lots of fun with it on their own accord! The Table against the wall in the main room can fold out into a big table for your home cooked group meals. The boards to make it longer should be next to it against the wall.
Close to Georgetti park with hiking/ biking trails and a skatepark. If you like coffee, I recommend the Speakeasy coffee shop on Center street. If you like books, look for the Bookmobile Bookstore on Center Street. If you like local brews, try Hop n' Moose on center street (great pizza too). If you like local fresh food, try the Rutland Co-op and Roots Restaurant on Wales Street (Farmers Market on Saturday too.)
  • Stayed at Sean's place for the weekend for a skiing trip - great location and amenities for the value! Quick response time with a very cozy and unique apartment!

    Alex2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I loved Sean’s BnB! There were so many quirky touches- the art, books, games. There is an amazing record collection too. It is a cozy space, super close to downtown Rutland and only 20 minutes from Killington. I would highly recommend, Sean is an excellent host!

  • My plans changed and I didn't end up staying but the place is very easy to find, close to shopping and restaurants. Hosts were very understanding when my flights were cancelled and my arrival was delayed significantly, and they also provided a multitude of recommendations for dining and things to do.

  • Philip's place was a nice and easy home base for our ski weekend at Killington. The space was big enough for a group to spread out gear and relax after days on the slopes. The location was ideal for walking into downtown for a bite and a beer. I would definitely stay there again.

  • Nice cozy apartment close to killington!

    Andrew2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing trip! The place was very clean and the host was very responsive and quick when we had questions about the town or the apartment itself. We traveled about 45/50 min to Bromley Mountain, 15 min to Pico Mountain, 25 min to Killington Mountain for skiing. It was in a great location!! It’s also in walking distance to Walmart and an adorable downtown area. Would highly recommend for small groups looking to go skiing for a reasonable price to stay and would definitely visit again!

    Chelsie2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Philip's apartment was excellent for our 4 person vacation to Killington for skiing. We enjoyed having a kitchen and the place felt spacious. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed. Would stay again.

At the crossroads in The village of Wallingford Vermont, Suite "P" provides a launching point for all your Vermont adventures.
Suite P is an apartment for 2 and guests have exclusive use for the duration of their stay.
Suite P has a full kitchen, when guests choose not to cook there is Sal’s Italian restaurant across the street. One block to the north on Rte 7 is the Wallingford Victorian Inn with a very nice menu as well as a Pub for less formal dining and social gathering. For a fun time the Otter Creek fun center is a few miles south on Rte 7 and has mini golf, an arcade and great hot dogs.
  • Jeff’s place was exactly what I was looking for. Location was perfect in relation to the spartan beat at mount Killington that I was participating in. The size, cleanliness, and small personal touches were also ideal. Jeff’s quick responses and accurate descriptions also played a huge role in making this a fantastic weekend. Would definitely recommend for a quiet weekend getaway

    Ann Marie2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very nice place to stay. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, check-in is easy with no fuss. It's a short drive from Killington peak, which I recommend, and the restaurant across the street has great pizza (and wine)!

Sykes Hollow Farm is a peaceful, private, happy place on a dirt road. Close to Dorset and Manchester and all their accompanying activities. We are a farm for retired horses in the gorgeous Mettowee Valley. Fields, mountains and a pond are all here in addition to the horses and chickens! Good for couples and solo travelers who want to experience an amazingly beautiful farm setting! More than just a room... an open door to an authentic New England farm experience!
The barn apartment is actually just that! You will live in the barn! Of course your space is totally separate. The living area is sunny, comfy and cozy! There is a bumpout for coats, shoes and bags. A studio style set up with full size bed and bathroom... shower with tub! (Garnett Hill bedding... cotton for the summer, flannel for the cold weather. Blankets and comforters washed after EVERY guest.) NO kitchen... if you enjoy cooking while on holiday, this is NOT the place for you! Hotpot for boiling water, keurig, microwave and small refrigerator are in the apartment. Tons of yummy food in dorset and manchester! I provide tea, coffee and snacks! (No tv, but great WIFI!) You do live near the chickens, so expect to hear the cluckings and cockle-doodle-do'ings! The farm has a generator in case of power outages. I am a firm believer in attention to detail so you are able to relax and enjoy your holiday! If you have ANY questions about the farm/barn apartment, please contact me! I want to make sure this is the right spot for you so you have exactly what makes you happy! Need more space? Visit Pond House... the other housing available on the farm! (The farm is 4.8 miles to the Dorset green... about 2 miles to The Old Gray Barn... 11.6 miles to Manchester Center) Tax ID Number: MRT-10126712
Sykes Hollow Farm is located in the gorgeous Mettowee Valley of southern Vermont. Primarily farm land, dairies, mountains and woods. The Mettowee runs the length of the valley. Pam was super fast to respond, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more for our cute Vermont stay. We fell in love with the local snacks and we actually ended up ordering a couple of them for ourselves at home.

Idyllic Vermont horse farm. Close to many activities.
This beautiful Vermont horse farm is only 5 miles from Rutland and 1/2 hour from Killington and Okemo ski areas. Very close to many hiking trails.
I am on a dead end road and my neighbors are family members. Tons of open space for walking or xcountry skiing
  • We stayed at Lisa’s place to bookend some spring skiing at Killington (about half an hour away-very easy). The apartment was tidy and very cozy, and the views of the farm during sunrise and at night under the full moon were beautiful. Unfortunately we never got around to using the hot tub. We cooked breakfasts and dinners while there, and the kitchen had all necessary dishes, but we were glad to have brought a few of our own baking dishes. We always look for a dog-friendly Airbnb, and Lisa has friendly dogs (and other assorted farm animals), but I would only bring your dog if you’re confident in its behavior around other animals. This is definitely an in-law apartment attached to the main house and as such, it’s not super private in terms of sound, which worked fine for us. We’d definitely consider staying here again!

    Juliana2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The host Lisa is very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless upon arrival and Lisa was very fast in responding to any questions we had and checking up on our group.

    Mike2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The experience staying on a farm was so unique, my boys said that was the best AirBnB stayed at so far. Lisa was super friendly. She introduced the horses to us and even let the boys ride a little in the barn. Can't ask for a better place to stay for our ski trip. Highly recommended!

    Tiao2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot, convenient for local ski areas and hosts were easily accessible and responsive.

    Nathan2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, what an incredible stay my husband and I had at Lisa’s horse farm. My husband was stationed in Killington for work for the month of January. My 3 month old daughter, our dog and I joined him for 2 weeks there and this is where we stayed. First of all, our lodging offered such Beautiful views of the forestry and mountains. Not to mention, looking out the windows we got to see the horses, goats, sheep, chickens, donkey and dogs. It was a dream and such a different world than what we are used to living, being from NYC. Lisa offers a 2 bedroom place. It has a dining area, living room area, kitchen and 1 bathroom. The place was PERFECT for our family. The kitchen and living room is very open so I was able to cook and keep an eye on my little one as well. The unit is the basement of Lisa’s house converted to its own apartment. Honestly, you wouldn’t even know it though. You very much feel like you are completely separate. Also, We were able to walk around the farm and even a horse trail with the dog. We had access to HULU, Netflix via the TV. The place was immaculate when we arrived and we were blown away at what we were getting for the price. Lisa was so kind and did our laundry 3 different times for us. If we needed anything she was able to provide. She even brought us farm fresh eggs! Also she has artwork around the unit we stayed in and sells for a very affordable price. My husband and I bought a drawing and a painting because our stay was so special. The drive to mt. Killington is just under 30 min. This stay was perfect. I’ve thought about around trip to Vermont probably every day since we have left. My husband and I have both talked about coming back and no question we would stay here again.

    Timothy2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place! We really enjoyed our stay at this idyllic farm. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. And Lisa was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommended!

    Ksenia2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, quick responses, clean and comfortable. Great views, lots of windows, peaceful, serene and magical being on the farm with all the animals. Smart tv, but no cable. Short ride to Okemo, AWAY from traffic! Highly recommend.

    Tania2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's place is wonderful! The view from the airbnb is stunning and it's a real Vermont experience with the horses, sheep and dogs around. She was incredibly accommodating and thought of everything and then some! We will be back for sure!

  • It's all in the title - this place feels like a home away from home. Cheryl and George did a great job in furniture and decoration. The place felt warm, inviting and comfortable. Not to mention that and George are superstar hosts. They even had cookies for us!

  • This place is amazing - super clean, plenty of hot water, conveniently located, has everything you need for a group up to 4, parking spots, and the price is amazing. Went for a ski trip to Killington (20 minute drive) and loved it so much we are going again and staying with them in a few weeks. This place is spotless on the inside and truly feels like a home away from home. They are such a sweet couple because they were extremely responsive and accommodating as we arrived late at night do to the weather AND there was more heavy snow during the night - they woke up to shovel and plow early in the morning. This place can not be beat!

  • My friend and I booked Susan’s AirBnB for a weekend ski trip to Killington and our experience could not have been better!! Susan was an AMAZING host and extremely communicative/responsive. The place itself was extremely clean and perfect for a few friends. The kitchen was also extremely convenient and Susan had already stocked the kitchen with most things you would need. We cooked almost all of our meals instead of eating out and having the spacious kitchen was a saving grace. I would 100% recommend staying with Susan for anyone looking to stay in the area. We will definitely be coming back. 12/10.

  • If you stay with Susan & Robert, you don’t just get a private lovely space to experience the beauty of Vermont. You also get a built in guide and planner that knows all the best spots and crystal clear instructions for how to best approach your trip. We look forward to staying here again!

  • Susan's place is great and she gives helpful tips and places to checkout in the area. We stayed here for 3 days over new years, and it was easy to get to Killington for some skiing. Lots of space for two, very clean, and the drive up and location scenery is beautiful.

    Sabrina2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was a wonderful host- very welcoming, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The space was lovely and spotless with an amazing view of the mountains and sky. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was on a beautiful, peaceful piece of land a bit off the beaten path. The directions Susan provided on how to get there were detailed and easy to follow. She also provided incredibly helpful information and tips about what the local community. Thank you so much Susan! Your hospitality is greatly appreciated!

  • Extremely friendly host, beautiful views, and a clean and neat stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to experience the beautiful and quaint views Vermont has to offer. We visited for our Honeymoon and plan to repeat our visit to their lovely residence annually as we had the time of our life. Great recommendations and responsiveness from the host. 10/10 we will be coming back!

    Tyler2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t pass this place up! You absolutely cannot beat the view from the porch. One of the best days of our trip was waking up and watching the sunrise, enjoying a day of hiking and sightseeing, and making it back in time to watch the sunset from this gorgeous home. The private apartment upstairs is so warm and cozy and even has that “new house smell.” There’s a skylight above the bed where you can watch the stars as you rest in the comfy bed. The cherry on top was the hospitality of the host, Susan. She was absolutely wonderful from check-in to check-out and you can tell she has a lot of pride in Vermont. She has great taste so definitely check out her recommendations, particularly Roots in Rutland and Sissy’s in Middletown Springs. It was hard to leave this place!

  • Expect a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Will not only waited up to welcome us after a long 5 hour drive to show us around but he also gave us time to check out the day we were leaving. We have never stayed at an airb&b like this before and it has to be our new favorite home away from home. We highly recommend to anyone to book a stay here. Apartment is clean, shower works great, and we loved the antiques around the apartment. We had a great time! Thanks again Will!

  • Bill's place is located at a very quite dirt road in the Green Mountain. The house was well-decorated and extremely cosy, with excellent floor heating. Bill also provides beds for our dogs and there is a very large yard and a creek for our dogs to run around. At a clear night we saw millions of stars that we never experienced in the city. It's a great dog-friendly place with Bill as a wonderful host we will definitely come again!

    Zichen2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Loon and Otter Lodge was an absolute pleasure. Bill is beyond hospitable. The suite is super cozy and the bed is comfy, but the crowning jewel is the spectacular property! Can’t wait to go back!!

    Tara2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Bills place was absolutely beautiful. His house is like a museum. Perfectly decorated in a way that is fascinating. The room itself was cozy and inviting. Space is not an issue - it is larger than our two bedroom apartment back home! One wall is full over windows which overlook the 100 acres of undeveloped forest (his backyard). Our dog roamed free, swam in his multiple ponds, splashed through the river that runs through his property, and even played with all the local dogs - all right in Bills backyard. Can’t say enough good things about this stay. We will definitely be back.

    Caitlin2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I loved our weekend away at William's place. It is secluded and picturesque. The space is cozy but updated, and is decorated with lots of interesting vintage and antique pieces. William provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We enjoyed hiking in the preserve and exploring the surrounding towns. There are plenty of farm stands and country stores nearby. We also took easy day trips to Lake George NY and Burlington VT. We especially loved being able to bring our dog with us--and he loved running on the property and playing with William's dog.

    Nadia2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend at Willam's place. It was a perfect get away from the city. Our dogs loved to run around in the yard and William was very gracious with his hospitality showing us around his house to see his amazing collection of art and other trinkets. My husband had a lot of success fishing for brook trout on the property as well :)

    Nina2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful place to get away. Lots of local activities. Beautiful lake. Great hikes and mountain views. William was an incredible host, we'll be sure to come back again.

  • Lovely get-away for the perfect place to relax. We had a fantastic hike up the mountain at the end of the road, took fun trips into Manchester and Rutland, and did exactly what we wanted to do - relax, play games, read books, and do crossword puzzles. Liked the rustic yet clean and friendly converted barn, and loved meeting Pam and Martin. Thanks for a great weekend!

  • Martin and Pam were extremely communicative and accommodating for our stay at the comfy barn. It was a great location for hanging out after a day at Killington and close to mount snow for our drive back south Sunday. Would love to go back up in the summer as the barn is in a very pretty area. Great place for a VT weekend!

    David2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Martin and Pam’s barn was such a cozy, relaxing space for the colder winter days and nights we were there. It had plenty of space for our group of 5. Martin and Pam were both so kind and helpful. There was an icy storm when we were there and they were quick to bring flash lights in case of a power outage and offered any food or drinks if we needed them. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone and we hope to stay there again!

A comfortable spot with all of the amenities to cook up a delicious meal or watch a movie on one of the many streaming options. This very affordable place was exactly what me and my good friend were looking for after a long few days on the slopes.

We are Wayward Goose Farm (visit on instagram) and we have a spacious & comfy studio apartment overlooking the activity on our working Vermont dairy farm waiting just for you. Visit the barn during milking, relax with an album on the record player, or take a walk on the rail trail right out back! Now teaming with Red Clover Ale Co. (check them out on insta too!) in Brandon, VT, we'll provide a voucher with each booking good for a complimentary pour in their new brewery/tap room!
Come spend time in southwestern Vermont! We live on a beautiful dairy farm and we love to welcome guests to our home. We have a newly carpeted, finished studio apartment above our attached 3 car garage waiting just for you! It is furnished with a comfy new queen sized bed and 2 new twin sized beds. A recently installed kitchenette, with a two burner cook top and small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee amenities, and staples (spices, oils, condiments, and an assortment of basic nonperishables) enables you to prepare simple meals. Choose to dine inside at the vintage table or make it al fresco and take your meal out to the patio when the weather permits. We are happy to stock your fridge with a complimentary jar of our own fresh, raw milk, upon request. We also stock local fresh pastured eggs in our self serve store which you are welcome to purchase. A full bath with stall shower is spacious, well appointed, and clean. Wireless internet is available but we suggest you relax with some good old board games. We've recently added a full sized ping pong table in the heated garage, just outside the apartment door..... lots of fun on rainy days or when it's too cold to brave the winter outdoors. Little ones will have fun swinging and sliding on the newly built wooden play set in the yard, in full view from the east apartment windows. We are kid friendly! Guests have a private entrance but are welcome to enjoy our lovely backyard patio and porch. If you have ever wanted to experience life on a dairy farm, this is the place for you! Guests can watch the milking chores in the morning or sleep in and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Either way, you are sure to be charmed by your surroundings. We milk 25 registered Jersey cows twice a day, every day, and sell their rich creamy milk raw here on the farm. We have a little, self-serve farm store on sight from which you can also view our morning or evening milkings. Our fresh, raw milk, grass fed beef and free range chicken, local maple syrup, and local pastured eggs are available year round. If you are a fan of micro brews you'll know that Vermont is home to the most craft breweries per capita of any state in the U.S. We are proud to team with one of VT's newest, and, in our opinion, best brew pubs, Red Clover Ale co. in Brandon and we're happy to provide a voucher for 1 complimentary pour per booking. A scenic hour's drive north, Red Clover Ale co.'s tap room is situated right over the Neshobe River in downtown Brandon and the beers are fast becoming known among craft beer connoisseurs as some of Vermont's finest. How do we know? Because their brewer Pete is our son and one of the 3 owners is our son in law Andy! Stop in with your voucher and prepare yourself for a tasting experience you won't forget! In January they were chosen one of the top 10 new breweries of 2019 in the country by @hopculturemag! Our farm's surrounding area holds plenty of opportunity for adventure. The D&H Rail Trail runs literally through our backyard and is a perfect venue for birders and hikers alike. It is 22.3 miles long and is very popular among bicyclists, cross country skiers, horseback riders, walkers and joggers. Bring your binoculars, because we've spotted everything from bald eagles to scarlet tanagers on the trail, not to mention snapping turtles! Nature lovers can also partake of nearby Merck Forest, Haystack Mountain, and the Hebron Nature Preserve. Plan a winter vacation and, if there's snow, we have an assortment of sleds and tubes you are welcome to use on the hill behind the house. Or bring your cross country skis and take them out on the rail trail out back, which is groomed by a local snowmobile club! We'll start a fire in the fire pit for you and we even stock the apartment with gourmet hot chocolate mix which you can use to make the world's best cocoa, providing you use our milk of course! In addition, we are a mere 39 minutes from Bromley mountain ski resort if you decide to have an off farm winter adventure! Message ahead of your visit and we'll try to give you up to date sledding and rail trail skiing conditions. Manchester, a mere 25 minutes away, is a very popular destination, home to numerous designer outlets, the Orvis fly fishing school and store, and the best book store in Vermont, the Northshire Bookstore. Weston, sight of the Vermont Country Store, is about an hour's drive away through some gorgeous mountain scenery. Glens Falls, and Lake George, NY are about 45 minutes and an hour away, respectively, to the west, while Saratoga Springs is just under an hour. The delightful Lake St. Catherine state park in Wells is about 15 minutes away and Emerald Lake state park in Dorset is nearby as well. World class fly fishing abounds in the Battenkill River and the Mettowee River. Burlington and all its enchantments is just under 2 hours north and the drive through Addison County, with the Adirondacks to the west across Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains to the east is absolutely breathtaking! There are great farmers markets in nearby towns as well as unique shops, eating establishments and brew pubs throughout this beautiful state. There are too many attractions to do justice to here and we are centrally located to many nearby cities from Albany, to Saratoga, to Rutland and Bennington. Since it's only an hour away, we are frequent visitors to Williamstown, MA and its treasure, The Clark Art Institute and Mass MoCa is just a short hop away in Adams. A state of the art whole-house water filtration system supplies the apartment with our fresh, clean well water so there's no need for purchased water in plastic bottles. This, along with our choice to primarily use environmentally friendly cleaning supplies, line dry our laundry when weather permits, etc. is part of our entire farm's commitment to sustainability. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and look forward to hosting you. We do not discriminate and happily welcome all genders, ethnicities, colors, shapes, sizes, astrological signs, planetary affiliations, musical tastes, etc!
Ours is a quintessential rural Vermont neighborhood... our nearest neighbors are at Consider Bardwell Farm, whose silos are visible from our yard. It's an easy and enjoyable walk down the road, along the rail trail or even through our pasture. Once there you can take a tour or sample some of their award winning cheese. The road on which we are situated is very popular with bicyclists, joggers and walkers alike in good weather and the scenery is delightful all year round!
  • Laurie and Dan’s farm is really something else. If you’re looking for a real, authentic getaway in Vermont their place is it

    Eric2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended place for a weekend getaway! Very hospitable hosts, impeccable cleanliness, and lots of amenities and attractions made our stay comfortable and memorable.

    Piotr2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Just returned from a wonderful weekend with my boys skiing. The farm was just what we wanted, something unique, quiet but still close to all the amenities Vermont has to offer. We enjoyed sledding and snowboarding on the hill under the maple tree, snowshoeing along the Trail that runs behind the farm, and a game or two of ping pong and backgammon. The special treats on Valentines Day were a welcome surprise. The farm is located about 30 min drive from Manchester Center- we enjoyed dinner at Seasons Restaurant Manchester and Sams Wood Fired Pizza. We also rented a snowboard from Bradley’s Pro shop Manchester that my son was able to use on the hill- a little practice before we spent the day at Pico 60 min drive from the farm. If your looking for something special that’s away from the crowds but still close enough to everything. I highly recommend this special property.

    Kimberly2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Dan's place is a great little spot. The views are awesome and getting to see the cows out of the windows in the morning while you drink your coffee is a nice treat. The apartment has everything you could need and a great selection of reading material, even some good books if you're interested in the finer details of the world of cheese. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

  • Laurie and Dans farm is amazing. Sparkling clean, well thought out and they’re super thoughtful when it comes to amenities. I look forward to staying there again in the near future

    Matthew2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb was the perfect place to get away to for the long weekend. The apartment was much larger than we expected, allowing us to cook in the kitchen, cozy up to the electric fireplace/space heater, and play board games on the dining table in equal measure. The apartment comes fully stocked with all the necessary amenities (an abundance of soap and shampoo options, clean towels, etc) as well as two crates of a records to be played on the record player. We ran to the local liquor store and grocer, grabbed some supplies, and spent the first night drinking and cooking with The Supremes on in the background. Plus, there’s a dozen or so great board games. It snowed pretty heavily the first night, but by the time we went outside the following morning the driveway was already plowed and Dan had gone out of his way to clear our front windshield of snow. The location may seem remote at first, but proved more than enough to fill the weekend. We spent a full day in Brandon, Vermont (an hour north) visiting Dan and Laurie’s son’s brewery (a great spot) and hanging out around town. This trip was great start to finish.

    Ethan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Dan's place was the perfect escape for us to enjoy nature, peace and quiet! Having the trails right out back was fantastic and the views of the mountains from the room were gorgeous! Ps. Their dog Paul is adorable!

  • We were looking for a cute place to stay near Killington for a New Years getaway and Nicole's place was just what we were looking for!! Her apartment is adorable and the perfect amount of space for 2-3 people. We were so appreciative for the wine and snacks Nicole had there when we arrived. It was about a 20-25 minute drive to Killington ski area. Her apartment is in a great location and there are a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is on somewhat of a busy intersection but that didn't bother us.

    Leanne2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nicole was a terrific host, and her apartment is clean, warm, and spacious, which is exactly what we needed in the middle of the winter. We’d highly recommend her for both tremendous location and hospitality alike.

  • My boyfriend and I booked this airbnb to go skiing at Killington. It was even better than described and an easy drive to the mountain! The space was clean, cozy, and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and it was easy to feel "at home" in her airbnb. Nicole was extremely easy to contact and communicate with and she even left us everything we could need to make breakfast. We would absolutely return!

    Sophie2019-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • I booked Nicole's place to stay over New Year's holiday with my family and ski at Killington. The place was clean, warm, and cozy, and Nicole was quick to reply to all of my questions. I would definitely recommend it.

It’s an easy walk to downtown Rutland for some good places to eat and drink. We skied 2 days at Killington which is an easy 25 minute drive with Pico even closer. Judy’s place is a beautifully restored older home in a quiet neighborhood and best enjoyed by those who can appreciate that. We certainly did!

  • This apartment is in the perfect location for a trip to Rutland. Killington Mountain is under a half hour away and all restaurants and grocery stores are only 5 minutes away! Judith gave us a walk through of the home and was available to answer all our questions promptly.

  • Awesome spot for Killington and Pico mountains. Great value and the place is well renovated and kept in great shape. Judy is a great host.

  • Great place to stay, it was clean and very close to Killington where we skied!

  • This place is BETTER than the posting suggests. For one thing, I think the review suggest that the sleeping areas are in a common area, but there are two lovely bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Overall, it’s beautifully furnished and thoughtfully appointed.

  • Judith's place is a great place to stay while in Rutland for a few days! Her apartment is nicely furnished with up-to-date décor. Judith left us some great snacks and beverages to get us started. We tried two of the several restaurants she recommended and enjoyed them both. There was a burned out light bulb which was no problem for us and she came over right away to replace it anyway. The apartment is conveniently located just a few blocks from downtown and has easy access to Route 4 and Route 7.

  • If you choose to stay at Judy’s place be ready for the warmest welcome ever! She greeted us even though our flight was delayed and arrived at midnight. She wanted to be sure we had everything we needed and that we knew where everything was. With the personal greeting we were able to get wonderful recommendations for places to eat and sights to see. We would recommend parking the car and support the downtown district as everything is in walking distance through a quiet neighborhood. Our favorites are: The Bakery - Breakfast and coffee. All baked goods are made on sight! Roots Resturant- Lunch and dinner Farm to table dining, the food and service were amazing! Speak Easy - Coffee Shop - Superb lattes just do not expect and hot food after 2:00. They turn their ovens off. Judy’s Apartment was comfortable and cozy. She provided wonderful snacks, various teas and coffee. She even had some half and half, cheese and sparkling water in the refrigerator. We hope to stay there again in the near future!

LOCATED 10 minutes from KILLINGTON AND PICO and within easy walking distance (5-10 minutes) to downtown amenities like the award-winning farm-to-table restaurant ROOTS, LITTLE HARRY'S (intimate bar & restaurant with a great food), bars with live music, many coffee shops, the YELLOW DELI, the BAKERY, downtown retail, public library, the PARAMOUNT Theatre and the Rutland Farmer's Market on Saturdays
The third bedroom currently has a futon which can be used as a couch or a twin bed. I'm also happy to accommodate with additional sleeping furniture (i.e., crib, bunk beds, air mattresses with advanced notice)
The neighborhood is charming and friendly so you can safely walk to town in the evening (5-10 minute walk) for dinner, clubs with live music or theatre.

  • Great location close in a nice town close to the mountains!

  • Sharon’s place was great! Very spacious. The apartment has its own driveway so parking was super easy. Sharon was very kind and helpful. We always get a place with a full kitchen because we like to cook our own meals. The kitchen supplies were limited but we were able to make do. We booked our stay because we were spending the weekend at Killington. It was about 20-30 minute drive. Not that we needed it but there is no tv in the apartment- some people may want to know. I may have over liked this in the posting

  • Nice big clean place, close to Killington ski resort.

  • Such a cute place and very close to local restaurants and stores. Also only 20ish minutes Killington ski resort. Sharon’s place had everything you would need.

A historic, renovated barn in the heart of Cuttingsville, VT. Chic and comfortable furniture pairs with historic decor from the towns history. Located next door to the highly rated Rustic Rooster Bar & Grill, and just miles from Okemo Mountain. It’s the perfect place to get away and enjoy quaint Vermont life, eat farm to table food, and explore the surrounding mountains.
The loft is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the barn. It has an outdoor staircase that leads to a private entrance. Pinewood floors and an open layout allow for several guests to have plenty of room to interact and relax in a unique and fun space.
The Loft shares a driveway with a YELP! top rated restaurant, the Rustic Rooster Bar and Grill. (What’s better than walking distance from amazing food and drinks with an amazing staff?) Okemo Mountain is just a 15 minute drive away, with Killington, Pico, Stratton and Bromley Mountain just 35 minutes away. Beautiful Vermont lakes and mountains are nearby to explore as well, with The Long Trail and The Appalachian Trail just 5 minutes away.
  • Great place! Very clean. The mud room was great for after day of skiing to unload everything. We would stay here again on our next ski trip. Everything was perfect and exactly as in the pictures.

  • My two teenagers and I spent 3 nights in the Loft. The space was perfect for us. Lots of space! The place is larger than it looks in the pictures. Another reviewer commented on the lack of doors for privacy - we were not bothered by this. Alyssa was very helpful with suggestions for day trips, shops, and restaurants. My son skied at Okemo and Killington and we found the location of the loft to be convenient. We’ll definitely stay at the loft the next time we are in the area!

  • This is a gem of a location. We skied at Okemo and loved the close proximity to the resort, but also enjoyed being off mountain in a cozy private setting. The rustic rooster next door was delicious and convenient as it was just a close walk away. Hope to come back in the future.

    Jonathan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Loft was great! Very convenient to multiple mountains. Alyssa also made sure the steps were shoveled and salted after a snow storm. Would definitely recommend!

  • Stylish beautiful barn space in great proximity to Okemo. Loved everything about it especially the convenience of the Rustic Rooster and the hospitality of Alyssa.

    Tanya2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay! The beds were very comfortable and the space was perfect for hanging out after a long day of skiing! The space was clean and very cute. If I come back to Vermont, I will stay here again!

  • We had a great stay. Lots of little touches that make it more than just a place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable.

    Steven2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great central location to all Vermont has to offer. Alyssa was quick to respond to all my questions and offered up a slew of great recommendations so that we could make the most of our stay. The Loft was cozy and beautiful!
