“When asked what was the 'Price of Fame'?, John Lennon said "Not being able to have a drink in 'The Phil'." This is 'The Phil'. If you're not famous, 'The Phil' is. It was designed and built to be the most fabulous pub in the world. It is. Well worth a visit.”

Concert Hall
“St George's Hall (right opposite Lime street station) is one of Prince Charles's favourite buildings. It is built the wrong way round and quite a big deal for the Architect who orchestrated the build. Nevertheless it is very much a commanding building and worth a visit especially inside to see the Old Court and visit the Judge's camber and the prison cells. Once in a while the floorboards are lifted and reveals a wonderful mosaic tiled floor in the large Hall. A very beautiful majestic building and well worth a visit. ”
