“Taste delicious craft and limited time beers at the source in the Wiseacre Tap Room. Tours given at noon on Saturdays. Plenty of indoor seating, as well as fantastic patio seating and food trucks on premises when the weather is nice, give this taproom a laid-back vibe. ”

“Disclaimer: This place is wild. It’s a nightclub w/o the usual crowd. There is a drum set on the dance floor. Tons of fog. It’s so much fun. Talk to us before you go! ”

“Catfish perfection is always in the offing at Soul Fish Cafe , along with chicken, fresh salads, and po’ boys! Sides and desserts are authentic Southern-style soul food. Cake flavors change daily. Tip: Order the Thin and Crispy Catfish, fillets heaped high! Be sure to try the fried okra and collard greens, as well. ”

“The Majestic Grille has the best of both brunch worlds, with equal style and substance. Enjoy live music on the mezzanine of the 1920s Art Deco theatre while sipping a carafe of mimosas and noshing on veggie frittatas. Or saddle up to bar to watch football and tear into a rib eye Steak & Eggs served with potatoes, biscuits, and a Bloody Mary.”

“Airbnb describes this place as a restaurant, and although they do have food, that is definitely not the most accurate label. It’s like a big playground for adults, but there is also a cordoned off area for children. It has volleyball, cornhole, ping pong, food, beer, and often live music. ”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. It's a little pricey but the food is amazing and everything is served in 'flights'. You've probably heard of a flight of wine, but how about a wild game flight? Venison, Bison and Elk. Or a seafood flight: Shrimp, scallops and lobster. Or maybe for dessert a chocolate flight: Chocolate mousse, chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream. Everything comes in threes. ”

“This South Main-area gastropub offers a sophisticated spin on pub food and an extensive list of inspired cocktails. But unlike some other high-end bars, S.O.B., as it's affectionately called, has more of a welcoming, low-key ambience. Sangria (prepared with whatever fruit is in season) is always on offer, or try something more inventive, such as the Not Your Grandmother's Lemonade (barrel-aged whiskey with homemade lavender-infused lemonade). Balance your booze intake with eats from the daily snack board (fried deviled eggs, seasonal hummus, cheeses, house jam, candied pecans, and crispy flatbread).”
