Remodeled 2 years ago with practically everything new including linens and kitchen ware. Tastefully done with aloha.
There are quiet hours from 10pm-8am that are strictly enforced. Absolutely incredible views of the ocean from the lanai. Beautiful ocean/beach side pool. People are friendly and respectful to each other.
  • Perfect for a quiet, budget-conscious stay on the west side of the island. The grounds of the community are very well kept and we enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching the deer and turkey hanging out on the lawn.

  • Very nice place, and Michael was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Comfortable bed too! Also nice that snorkel gear and other beach stuff was available, though surf was too high in winter to use it.

    Josephine2017-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, clean comfortable studio with an ocean view and all needed amenities. I would definitely stay here in the future.

    Greg2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Place was clean. Good location. Very short walk to beach as it is one set of houses back from beach area. Has great view of beach. Convenient rental of van. Has alot of miles but works just fine. Great for a couple. Kitchen is functional. Host is very helpful as we had near disaster and lost keys to car. He was willing to make call and get us help. Thankfully we were able to find the keys.

  • Michael's condo is just as described and depicted in the photos. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The view from the lanai was lovely and we enjoy relaxing in the pool over looking the ocean as well. The bed was a bit soft for our liking but that's quite subjective. Overall I recommend Michael's place and would stay here again myself.

    Sophia2016-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Michael provides everything you need. This place is quite and clean. Only 5 mins walk to private beach. There is even a store nearby( only few stores on this island).

    chaoran2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location on the desert end of Molokai. Awesome place to relax and slow down. Loads of interesting wildlife!

    Jane2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Molokai is amazing. It is untouched by commercialism and crowds and holds pristine views and natural landscapes. The condo has beautiful views of the ocean and the occasional large bird wandering by - turkeys and peacocks. The people are very friendly and the island is great getaway, especially from the tourist traps. Even still, there are enough places that serve tourists that it doesn't seem like you've bandined civilzation.

  • We had a great time! There was a crib for our baby and everything was clean and convenient. The car was needed and perfect. We have friends already planning on going and we're also planning on going back and staying with them again on our yearly trip to Molokai. Rick and Pat are wonderful and knowledgeable hosts. Thanks again!

  • Richard's studio apartment at Kepuhi Beach was a perfect place for us -- well appointed, comfortable, quiet, and very close to the beach. The inclusion of a car with the rental was a decided plus.

    Thomas2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed there for two weeks. Rich and Pat are great hosts but also know when not to bother you. Very easy to work with and are a good source for information about the island. I must say, the whole rental experience with them was seamless.

    Phil2017-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as expected when we arrived. Communication was great and Rich was there to greet us upon our arrival. The condo was cleaned and had everything you need. It was a short walk to the beach and at night you could relax on the lanai while listening to the waves crash in. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

    Lacey2017-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Place is adorable. Thoroughly enjoyed the unit. Clean, comfortable bed, nice supplies, towels etc. Car with the unit is so convenient and very reliable. Owner extremely friendly and helpful. Would return in a flash. Only complaint was upstairs neighbors which no one really has control over. Pre 6:00am phone call on the deck...very loud both days. No sleeping in here.

    Sandy2017-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sleep to the sound of the waves! The condo is right sized for two. Everything you need is there, from cooking ware to beach chairs to sun lotion. If you are looking for tranquility, this is it. You must plan ahead for grocery shopping however a nice little general store is 4 miles away in one direction, and a bigger fully stocked store about 12 miles away in the main town. There are plenty of trails to hike, and beach to sit on, but use the pool for swimming as the waves break right on the beach and rock so don't try to go in. We spent hours on our little Lanai watching waves, inquisitive birds, and a few geckos. Wild turkeys came by every am and pm looking for any stray crumbs. All in all, a wonderfully peaceful time for the tracker who is self sufficient. And our host Rich was really responsive, yet gave us plenty of privacy.

    Aimee2017-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful sunsets from our condo! Rich is very helpful...we esp liked that the place came with a rental car.

    Kay2017-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Richard's place was amazing. The condo is quite big, it has all the necessary and although it is a bit far from the main city, it is at an amazing place and has a great view on the ocean. Everything worked out perfectly, the car was waiting for us at the airport and inside were all the info to get to the condo. Unfortunately three days were not enough to enjoy the condo and the relaxed atmosphere of Molokai west side, as Molokai offered us much more than what we expected and kept us busy all the time. We will definitely come back!

Beautifully decorated one-bedroom condo offers an open floor plan, modern kitchen, Cal-King bed, queen-sized sleeper, washer/dryer in unit, new media center, and unbeatable access to the beach, pool, and BBQ. See and hear the waves crashing right from your lanai or bedroom! Access the very best beaches on the sunny west side of the island, where yours may be the only set of footprints in the sand.
Enjoy the magic of old Hawaii as we found it in Molokai! Sitting on the lanai, you can see and hear the waves crashing on Kalaka rock and a breathtaking view of Kepuhi Beach. The stunning three-mile expanse of Papahaku Beach is an easy walk for excellent shelling. Yours may be the only set of footprints in the sand! Lounge by the pool which offers overlooks of the surfing beach to your right and Kepuhi Beach on the left. Or chase green sea turtles while snorkeling... all within a short walk from your condo. This newly renovated one-bedroom condo is located on the first floor and offers an open floor plan and modern kitchen. The kitchen includes a stainless steel food prep island, full-size oven, ceramic four-burner cooktop, full-size refrigerator, microwave, and is well-equipped for cooking and entertaining. This is not a kitchenette – slice and dice while watching the surf! The romantic bedroom offers a Cal-King bed, mirrored wardrobe, ceiling fan, and island ambiance. The sound of the waves and the island breeze make this a wonderful retreat from the sun. A queen-sized sleeper accommodates a total of four guests (sleeper includes a new mattress recommended for children). A private washer and dryer are included for your convenience. Connect your iPhone or iPod to the wired stereo system or browse a library of DVDs that is open for your enjoyment. The unit includes a 37" high-def TV loaded with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Included for your use are beach towels and mats. The view of the ocean is superb! You can sit on the lanai for hours watching the waves crash on the rocks and roll up on the beach. Watch the sun set into the pacific without moving from your chair; either on the lanai or sitting inside on the sofa or dining room table. Do as much or as little as you please!
Grocery stores are located in Kuanakakai and in Maunaloa (smaller store). Most of the grocery stores are open Monday through Saturday until 6:00 pm, with limited availability on Sunday. You may choose to purchase groceries before coming to the condo from the airport. When you leave the airport, turn left (east) on Hwy 460 and drive ~5 miles to Kaunakakai. There you will find a wine store, two gas stations, restaurants, and two medium sized grocery stores. Masaki's and Friendly Market stay open until 8:30 pm on weeknights and 6:30 pm on Saturdays. Fresh organic produce can be bought at Kumu Farms located at the 8-mile marker on highway 460 (follow the signs to the farm). There are a number of wonderful activities to do while on the island, including hiking, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, lei making, kayaking, and whale watching (to name just a few).
  • Great unit and well taken cared of by Nicolle.

    Randy2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing space! The condo was clean and spacious. Although there aren't pictures of the bathroom I can say it was more than enough space for 2 people. There were extra linens, spices, and dry goods for cooking. There was a mask that we used for our scuba dive, candles and pretty munch everything we needed for our 10 days on the island. Although Nicole wasn't there in person she gave me specific instructions on how to get to the condo, and how to set up Pandora and Netflix! She was always available by email and was very quick to respond. The grounds keepers at the condo were so friendly when I had questions (where the local store was, where the dumpster was, etc...). The space was peaceful and quiet and I would HIGHLY recommend this place as a frequent Airbnb-er and former resident of Hawaii. Thank you so much, we hope to return soon!

    Mailie Faith2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • I definitely recommend this beautiful place! This place have everything you need and a incredible view!! Nicolle is very attentive host and permited us to do a early check in. I really want to go back to this amazing place!

    Jéssica2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a luxury and perfekt condo on the west side of molokai with a great ocean view. Everything is clean, comfortible and like described. We would recommend Nicolle' s apartment.

    Juergen2017-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place if you'd like to enjoy some serenity on Molokai (and skip the hustle bustle of some of the other isles). Clean, easy, go shopping and enjoy the full kitchen. Beautiful beaches and walks all over. Stay a month, write your next novel. Mahalo Nicolle!

    Wil2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my time here and the place was perfect! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy the nature Molokai has to offer as it is a very short walk from the beach. Nicolle was a great host and was very responsive when I had questions. The house has plenty of appliances for cooking, which is nice since the island is pretty quiet. We bought all of our food in town the first day and did our cooking in the home (although there is a small store in the complex with very pleasant staff). But mostly, time was spent outside. There are lots of great beaches to explore nearby, including one of the largest white sand beaches in Hawaii. In December, the waves are really strong on the West side of the island and not great for swimming, but you can snorkel a 15 minute drive away at Dixie Maru. Again, this is a great place for a relaxing vacation.

    Hannah2017-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location and bright and breezy apartment. Bit weird that many of the buildings at the resort have just been abandoned. Kitchen was extremely well equipped, but make sure you bring your own beach towels and mats.

This clean, fully tiled, 1st floor condo with a king size bed is what you need to enjoy the seclusion of Molokai's beautiful west end. 5 secluded beaches are within walking distance and the sunsets from your lanai are indescribable. The use of a Vehicle is included in the rate. Your vehicle will be waiting for you at the airport when your feet hit the ground. Our condo is one of the few on the island that accepts 1 nite reservations. Share the beach with seals & the lawn with turkeys.
Walk right out the back door, across the grass and to the beach. A fully stocked kitchen and comfy King size bed make you feel right at home. You have full use of the studio condo, the swimming pool, the grass areas, the barbeque grills and the coin operated laundry. Plus you'll be right on the beach where you can hear the waves crashing against the shore and watch whales from your lanai. I will not be there to personally greet you, but please call or text me for assistance or to help you with any problems that may arise. There is a beach just 1/2 mile north of the condo where the love scene from Pirates of the Caribbean II was filmed. You will find plenty of private beach space, beautiful sunsets and crashing waves at our condo. The Vehicle is usually a Chevrolet Minivan (if unavailable - we will let you know what to look for at the airport) - Please wash the outside and vac the inside of the vehicle for the next guest when you are finished. Check Alamo rental and you will see that this is a value. There is a wash station at all of the condos. You will find Car vacuums at Molokai Dive and Gas Station in town. If you don't want to use the vehicle - we will gladly deduct $40 per day from your rental fee after booking.
The neighborhood is part of the old Sheraton Molokai Hotel. Internet search for "Sheraton Molokai Hotel" to learn more. All of the "owned" condos are in great condition on land right next to the old hotel and the ocean. It is a very quiet secluded place to stay. Occasionally, there may be a neighbor with loud footsteps staying in the unit above which should quiets down when everyone goes to sleep.
  • Great stay for the value the van made it a very pleasant trip we can go anywhere we wanted to. Had some issues with the bathtub but they were fixed in a very timely manner by the time we got back from exploring the island that day. Over all it is a great place for the beautiful beaches that are very secluded.

    Vernon 2016-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Don't hesitate to stay at this lovely condo. Beautiful ocean front development, very friendly neighbors. Rich, the manager on-site, was great. It was good to have a friendly face, lots of information about the island. The great plus is the van that is included in the reservation. We will definitely return. On Molokai rental cars must be reserved far in advance. This Airbnb unit is special.

    Patricia2017-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking to get away from everything, this is the place for you. The condo is nice, clean and had everything that we needed. The beach is just a few steps outside of the room and is secluded and beautiful. The use of the van is a nice added feature and was easy to find at the airport. Rich was very helpful and was available to us whenever we needed assistance. We had no issues at all and would stay here again without a doubt.

    (EMAIL HIDDEN)2017-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The unit was clean and quiet and close to the beach. It included a full kitchen and even a few staples. Using the van was a big plus as rental cars are expensive on Molokai. Rich was friendly and helpful and is there if you need him. It was a relaxing vacation; enjoyed hearing the surf at night.

    Scott2017-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great place. This part of the island is truly a gem. I loved the bluest blue of the ocean against the blue sky. Thank you so much. Having the van was so very helpful too! Would love to visit again. Mahalo!

    Kimmie2017-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great! The location is beautiful, right next to the ocean with beautiful sunsets. The beach here is really special and completely uncrowded. The complex’s pool is on a rocky point above a nice surf break. The unit’s kitchen is very well-equipped with all the amenities you might need to prepare meals, which you can enjoy seated outside on the lanai bordering the well-maintained lawn and gardens. Do remember to do all your shopping in Kaunakakai, especially if you want beer, wine or cocktails, as the little store on the premises doesn’t sell alcohol, only snacks and a few sundries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. Thank you!

    Nikolai2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a simple but lovely condo. The view is gorgeous and the amenities are just what we needed. The kitchen served us well. The van was absolutely necessary for getting around. They even provided a cooler, beach bag, foldable picnic blanket, and beach towels. The folding doors open on to a beautiful porch, expansive grass lawn, and a view of the ocean. It's a five minute walk to the beach. Note that it's very quiet during the week, but on the weekends there seem to be a lot of local families who rent adjacent condos and can make noise into the night. I'm only giving four stars (instead of five) because we would have liked to know in advance that we had to wash the car ourselves before leaving.

    Jelena2017-03-13T00:00:00Z

The condo has all the amenities you would need for a "home away from home" experience.
  • Fantastic cozy place to stay on The west side of Molokai. You get a nice view of the ocean and are setup to watch a great sunset. Would stay again and recommend others looking to come visit the island.

Condo contains full kitchen (dishwasher, blender, cookware, dishware, full-sized refrigerator, oven, and utensils). Washing machine and dryer inside unit. Cable TV / DVD. Hi speed cable internet. Features paintings of Maui artist Nancy Hoke.
  • Great place to get away from it all! The condo has plenty of room for 6 people, and all the amenities you need to cook, shower, and relax. The only thing is that we had to buy more toilet paper after 2 days. There is a small store at the development, but otherwise everything is about a 40-minute drive away. The place is also older than it looks in photos, so it's not hotel quality but also not too shabby (especially compared to the Molokai Hotel). No A/C but some fans and a cross-breeze (typical of Hawai'i). And the community pool & hot tub were a major plus! Josh was great about answering questions and communicating details before our stay. We would definitely consider returning here on a future vacation!

    Emily2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • The condo was nice and had a good kitchen and patio so that we could cook and eat outside. We saw two beautiful rainbows while eating out on the patio.

    Monica2016-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Josh offered everything as described, condo is in the middle of housing development in walking distance (15-20min) from closest beach. If you want to relax and find nothing and noone around this is the place. 3 best on this island beaches around within 5-7 min by car, not really nice to swim but great looking, abandoned and long sandy. Molokai is to rest away from civilization, so if you like it, Josh and his condo will be a good choice!

    Witold2017-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great place to stay. It is farther than you'd think you Kaunakakai so just be aware of a bit of a drive, it is scenic though. Josh was great.

    Lilette2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Although there was a problem with double-booking, Josh was very helpful in finding us another place to stay in his resort area of Ke Nani Kai (West side of the island). The condo he found for us was very comfortable and nice (beautiful views and clean). Josh also greeted us the night we arrived in the new condo (which was not his). We appreciate all his help. The new Condo was a 4* in our opinion and we had a great time on Molokai! The ratings are partly based on that condo.

    Steven2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Good and fast communication regarding the unit. There was a keybox for check-in, and I appreciated having the flexibility to show up after we were done with our hike, not having to worry about a meeting time. The unit itself is in a nice area with a beautiful beach about a 10 minute walk away. The place is a little dated but I felt was commensurate with the price I paid to rent. The only problem I experienced was that there was very little soap left, no shampoo, conditioner, and only detergent pod for laundry. Luckily one of my friends who stayed brought a travel size bottle that we all shared, because the nearest store was quite a drive away. I'm guessing the host restocks on occasion and just didn't notice. Overall happy with the unit. Mahalo to Josh!

  • We absolutely loved staying at Lisa & Gary's little Peace of Paradise. It was in an amazingly beautiful location & the unit was comfortable, had everything we needed & was decorated with warmth & love. If you're looking for somewhere where you can kick back & listen to the birds & the breeze in the palms, this is the ideal place.

  • The condo was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed a few days with fantastic views and a quiet neighbourhood. Contact with Lisa and Gary was always easy, we can definitely recommend to stay here. Just keep in mind it's quite a few miles to Kaunakakai, the main town on Molokai, but no problem with a car. Cheers Kathi & Jan

  • We really loved the condo. Clean, nicely furnished and decorated and with a great beachview! Gary and Lisa prepared everything perfectly and even provided us a baby-bed so we had a wonderful time there with our little daughter. The resort in wich the condo is, is very quiete and a little off the beaten track - but that is just Molokai... Great choice for our stay! Definitely recommended.

    Annika2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our trip was amazing! The place had everything we needed within walking distance from many little secluded beaches. The surf was great and less than 5 minute walk. The host was easy to contact and provided all information needed. Will be coming back!

  • It's a beautiful apartment with an amazing view! You can watch the sunset from the lanai. There were some fresh fruits to welcome us and everything you might need during your stay. The condo was clean and we really recommend it!

    Yvonne2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing weekend. Beautiful condo with stunning views. The beach was absolutely amazing and the sunsets from the lanai or from the each which is only a short walk away was gorgeous. The hospitality of Lisa and Gary were phenomenal. Excited to go back.

  • My husband, Matthew, and I had a lovely time celebrating our 10 year anniversary on Molokai. Gary and Lisa's place is wonderful! The view is perfect and the sound of the waves crashing is marvelous! The people are really friendly at the resort. There are so many beaches within walking distance!! You can even pick out one all for yourself!! I recommend you to stay at Gary and Lisa's place!!

This beautifully remodeled and updated condo is light and airy. Located on Molokai; the most Hawaiian Island. Great hikes, pristine beaches and peace and quiet. The condo boasts an beautiful oceanview lanai with its own daybed for whale watching, reading or an afternoon nap!
This condo is the only one in the complex with a traditional "pune" or daybed on the lanai. It is double-bed sized and perfect for whale or sunset watching, napping, reading or even eating. In the remodel, a wall was removed to provide more light and spaciousness.
  • Lovely condo with an outstanding lanai! Incredible views of ocean and beautiful landscape. Dee was super friendly and Paula was quick to reply to all communications. Accommodations were very well kept and clean. Neighbours could be a little loud during the day but everyone was nice and pleasant! Would recommend to others.

    Angela2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed four nights at Paulas apartment. The communication with Paula was flawless. She provided us with a lot of helpful information about Molokai and the neighborhood. Once upon a time, the apartment-complex belonged to a hotel. We were surprised by the fact, that some houses were abandoned. That did not bother us to much, but the area has seen better days. The apartment is roomy. We loved the daybed on the lanai! Good to know: there is a constant flow of air through the apartment, since there are no windows installed, just fly screens. Beaches are within walking-distance. Great for viewing sunsets and just watching the waves. Mahalo for having us Paula!

  • I fell in love with Molokai from the air, on the little plane from Maui. The west end, where the condo is, is desolate high desert with spectacular beaches. From the condo walk one way to reach a 2+ mile long beach. Walk the other way to visit the beach with Hawaiian Monk Seals (giving them their space,) past that beach on nice walkways to a perfect swimming beach, white sand entry, walk one more beach over for total solitude. Lots of interesting places on the island to explore, waterfalls, sand dunes, mountains. I could easily stay busy/active for a week, and then take another few days just to read on the beach. So nice to get local produce at Kumu Farms and cook in the condo. Sunset is beautiful every night. The lanai is so comfortable with a great water view. Plus rainbows.

  • What a wonderful week to bask in balmy Molokai in late December. Reclining on the balcony porch bed was simply delicious, whether with morning tea, a good book, or an afternoon beer. We love Molokai's native pace and wild loveliness and her place is just wonderfully situated on the temperate side of the island, walking or short driving distance to many points of interest and beauty.

    Deborah2016-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time in this wonderful space. This was a DIVINE way to experience Molokai. Paula was a great host and her place was incredibly grounding to spend time in on our vacation. We cannot wait to return!

    Morgan2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful four days in your lovely beachside condo. It had everything we required and was well equipped. It was most peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely return.

    Oscar2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Paula's place is amazing. Great view and all the necessary amenities! We loved watching the sunsets on the lanai, the day bed was great for reading in the late afternoons. The bed was comfy, and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Check the kitchen before heading to the grocery store, there are some spices, condiments etc We would definitely stay at Paula's place again!

The west side has the longest beaches on the island, close to the private pool/Jacuzzi, and the tennis courts in our complex
  • Wow! Perfect for our stay. Condo was very clean and so quiet. Thoughtfully furnished and tastefully decorated. Shower was to die for! Lanai was huge, private, and had beautiful views. This place had everything the two of us could have asked for and more! Even better than the pictures. Location was far enough away to be the getaway we were looking for, coming from Oahu, but it was still accessible to our daily activities and necessities. Molokai and Jay's west coast apartment provided us with a weekend vacation of full relaxation, peace, no stress and no worries. Our highest recommendation! Thank you!

    Catherine2016-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks to the exact description of Jay, the condo has met all of our expectations - the condo is very clean, has a nice and large bathroom, a well equipped kitchen for preparing meals, a large wonderful lanai and a beautiful view. The whole condo complex is very quiet and clean. The front desk staff is very helpful and kind, and the communication with Jay was very easy - we would definitely stay again!

  • This is a very nice 1 bedroom condo, we really enjoyed our stay. It has the advantage of having hardwood floors which makes it a lot cleaner compared to condos with carpet that overtime accumulate sand and dirt (Molokai has a characteristic red soil which stains a lot of things). It has a nice view of the Papohaku beach from the deck and it is located in the best part of the island (in my opinion). As part of the Ke Nani Kai complex it has also access to a large pool and a heated whirlpool and it is a short walk from a good surfing beach.

    Andrea2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great condo and location. Fun to explore trails. Beautiful pool and views of sunset.

    Ann2017-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • this is a lovely apartment in a quiet set of condos. Great for really relaxing and there aren't many places these days where you can feel that you are getting away from it all or at least most of it! We enjoyed Saturday market, Kumu farm shop, macadamia nut farm, coffee at Coffees of Hawaii (tour doesn't operate now) and lots of walks in the area and along the beaches around the island. Even saw a Hawaiian monk seal.

    Hilary2016-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Although smaller than some condos we have used, it is more than comfortable for a couple or small family. It is very nicely decorated and the amenities are plentiful. I would however add a larger salad bowl for family style but then maybe that is just me. The pool and hot tub were great and most days shared them with no more than 1 or 2 other guests. The wind was a bit unrelenting but it kept the temperature in the condo very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lanai and made use of the barbecue nightly. Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

    Mark2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful views The most quiet place I've ever been to. However the morning birds were fabulous to listen to, a pleasant way to start your day. The home is about 15 minutes from the airport, and at least 30 minutes from town. I definitely recommend renting a vehicle. There is one little store:gift shop over in the other property. Which once the Sheraton Moloka'i, check it out on the web, very fascinating. You can get to the beach from there. And I must say it is a spectacular beach and view. We sat on the beach everyday for hours enjoying the peacefulness and tranquility. There is things to do, if you hike, or fish or even ride a mule. Back at the condo you will be very comfortable, you have wi-fi and cable, so yes you can still be in touch with the outside world. You can do laundry, while watching the ocean from the deck, or cook up a meal and sit outside on the deck. One thing I loved were all these wild turkeys that would be at the field in front of the condo every evening about 530. They are huge! Don't forget to visit the pool area, very nice pool all done in small tile. If you want a true getaway this is your destination. Remember to being your sunscreen!!

    Melinda2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Jay's one bedroom! The pictures aren't able to show how spacious it is and the fact that there is ocean view from the living room, bedroom, and even the toilet lol! :) No need for air conditioning as there is great cross ventilation and the fans work well! We loved having breakfast on the huge Lanai that has a table and 4 chairs & also 2 lounge deck chairs. The beach is close by and the pool and jacuzzi are nice! Jay was extremely helpful to us and easy to reach by text:) He suggested we get food/supplies in town at Kaunakakai & check out the market that happens on certain mornings. We were able to save money by cooking our own meals in the full size kitchen and were pleasantly surprised so many of the condiments we needed for cooking were already at the apartment. We plan to come back and stay here again in the near future since we live on Maui and because their is a pull out couch and sliding doors for privacy, this is a good place to come with kids:) Highly recommended for people who understand that Molokai is more rustic and less luxurious island & we felt this was the perfect place to stay on the west side with its gorgeous, empty beaches!

Kepuhi Beach Resort, also known over time as Kaluakoi Villas, or West Molokai Resort, lies on the west end of Molokai, and were built originally as part of the Sheraton Kaluakoi Villas Resort and Golf Course, which is now closed and seems to be returning to nature! The West coast of Molokai has wide open savannah spaces, trails for hiking and biking, and wonderful, wild, private beaches, with long stretches of sand and surf, and hardly any company! Nearby Papohaku beach is 3 miles long of lovely sand, and it is likely you will be alone. Not all beaches are ideal for swimming at all times, but there are several nearby that are generally protected and accessible. Forested high altitude cloud forest, nature preserves, sea cliffs, historical points of interest. Saturday Farmers Market in Kuanakakai. Organic produce and grass fed organic beef. Dramatic beaches and Sunsets are found here on the west end.
  • Great unit! Newly renovated. Clean, spacious and with plenty of amenities. I stay at Kaluakoi a few times a year and this was by far the nicest rental I’ve seen to date. Sharon was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. You won’t be disappointed with this great rental.

    Andreas2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon’s place was remodeled with every detail thoughtfully placed for all guests. This is a perfect island getaway for anyone seeking secluded beach time and a mellow island culture. Sharon was very accommodating for our travel schedule and planning. Would stay again without a second thought.

    Seth2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon's home is a tremendous base for your travel to Molokai. The apartment looks like new and is perfectly equipped in all aspects. The island itself is not too large and you will be able to get everywhere in a reasonable drive. At the same time, you are close to an unbelievable beach, even closer to a great beach and in a community of condos that feels safe but not overly touristic. Most of all, however, Sharon was the perfect host we have never met. She responded quickly to all messages, gave great advice and clear checkin instructions, helped us find a rental car and made us feel very welcome. We would make this apartment our Molokai-base again in a heartbeat.

    Frederic2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean (most everything is brand new Ikea actually), comfortable firm bed, breezy location with a strong fan (so no AC is not an issue), five minute walk to a white-sand beach with a gentle surf (which is deserted most of the time). Coin laundry is the next building over ($1.75 each laundry and dryer). Overall, had everything we needed and felt like home. Sharon is very communicative and has a very smooth check in check out process. Definitely recommend

    Nicholas2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon and Albert are genuine super hosts, and the place they have for rent is a little piece of paradise. We stayed at their lovely apartment during our stay on Moloka'i and we can only say how lucky we were to stay at this hidden gem. This oceanfront property has it all, is newly renovated, extremely well equipped, spot clean and home to one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world! Sharon and Albert go to their extremes to make your stay even more comfortable, communication is very friendly, fast and helpful. We requested a late check out and although new people were arriving the same day we still were able to stay longer! Talking about service! When we return to Moloka'i this airbnb will be on the top of our list, we already regret not spending more time here.

    Sam2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon's condo is in perfect condition, new furniture, clean, organized, exactly as described. New TV, bluetooth speaker, full kitchen with all appliances. I forgot mosquito spray (which you need!) and they had there; needed an extension cord to charge my phone and there it was, it's like they thought of everything. Good wifi, which is crucial because phone service in the area is not always good. Their house manual has every detail you need to know. I've stayed in many other units of this resort in the past few years and this was the best one by far.

    Igor2017-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon's space was the perfect place to return to after hiking Kalupapa & adventuring via bike around the island. The place was immaculate and had all the essentials necessary for a restful stay. The location is quiet, remote and great for jogging on Papohaku Beach and watching the sunset. We felt so lucky to catch the green flash! We will definitely stay again when we return to Molokai.

    Stephanie2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Sharon and Albert. We really enjoyed the time in your wonderful appartement. Everything was just perfect. We would love to come back to this magical place as soon as we can. Mahalo & Aloha

Our second floor condo is on the west end of the Hawaiian island of Molokai. It has an incredible view of Papohaku Beach and we also offer a car to rent at a reasonable rate (through TURO). Since we reside on Molokai full time, we ensure Hale Kamaluhia is well maintained and extremely clean (we personally clean and maintain the unit). We strive to offer our guest everything they need plus "Disney" clean accommodations. Feel free to contact us with any questions. Mahalo Mike & Yvette
Hale Kamaluhia (Hawaiian for House of Serenity), is our tropical retreat on the West coast of the Hawaiian island of Molokai. Our second floor condo has an amazing view of Papohaku Beach and is exactly as pictured, since we continually update our photos. We are one of the few owners who actually live on Molokai, so we personally manage/clean/maintain our condo. We are in our unit before and after each guest to make sure everything is clean and in good working order and that is not always the case with many of the vacation rentals here. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about Molokai, our unit, current weather conditions, best places to go, how to travel here, etc. Hale Kamaluhia is a passion of ours and we want our guests to feel like they are coming to a cherished family retreat. We have tried to provide most of what you might need except for food and clothing. For your convenience we have provided beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, a small cooler, small beverage cooler, snorkel gear, tennis rackets and binoculars for whale watching (in the Winter months). You will find our kitchen fully stocked with starter coffee, tea, spices, olive oil & vinegar, rice etc. We also have 2 kayaks (Single and double) and a paddleboard that guests are welcome to use on the water by our house, east of town. There is a well maintained pool, hot tub, 2 tennis courts and commercial grills on the resort property (close to the unit). Rental cars are very expensive and sometimes hard to acquire on Molokai, which is why we offer one you can rent with the unit at a reasonable rate. We rent it through TURO as they validate licenses and can provide insurance and you do not have to pay for it until lust before you arrive. Mahalo for considering Hale Kamaluhia for your next getaway and we hope to see you soon.
Our unit is located in Ke Nani Kai which is a beautiful condo development on the west coast of Molokai. It is very well maintained and offers a lot of amenities including pool, hot tub, tennis courts and commercial quality grills. It is very quiet and peaceful and just a few minutes walk from several beautiful beaches.
  • This condo was clean, well equipped & in a relaxing peaceful setting. The accompanying rental car is a must so you can get out & see what the island has to offer. Be prepared to drive a bit if you want to really explore--it's worth it for the beautiful beaches & breathtaking scenery. I especially appreciated that there was a washer & dryer in the residence so I could wash everything before we returned home. A+!

  • We have just concluded our vacation at Mike and Yvette's condo and the only huge regret we have is that we did not book more nights here. The flat was perfect, clean, nicely decorated and had everything you might need. The views are spectacular and it is the perfect place to relax. Yvette and Mike were super helpful and responsive during the entire process and we were glad to meet them in person. Overall a fantastic stay

  • We had a lovely stay at Yvette and Mike's place on Molokai! They truly have thought of everything and their place is fantastic. Well stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches, such as beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and even snorkel gear. The option to rent their vehicle was very convenient as well. We had a very relaxing time on Molokai!!

    Tristan2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • You guys were amazing before we met, during, and after. Promptly sent us important info for arrival, and the surrounding beaches, shops, and destinations to go to. When we arrived, Mike gave us the keys to the jeep and let us take the jeep early, even though check in wasn't until later on in the afternoon. The place was seriously a home away from home, with everything and anything. You seriously only need to bring your clothes and if you want to cook (purchase food). All of the extra things you normally need to get like condiments, paper towels, seriously all there. More than enough towels, lanai romantic dinners, or inside high chair dining...they have it. The pool and jacuzzi or well well kept, and you can drive down to the beach or just walk in 5 minutes...well worth it! Beautiful, pristine beaches, crystal clear water. We had a mom and baby monk seal just playing around for like an hour right in front of us with no one else on the beach. You are only 30 minutes from the main town, but it's worth the drive seriously. It's sooo beautiful and time flies taking in the beauty of the surrounding ocean and farms. We love to workout, so it was also a great place to get a good run in with the nice hills and gorgeous view of the ocean. The tradewinds are wonderful, so it doesn't get stuffy at all, along with they have plenty of ceiling fans to keep you comfortable. We loved that the bbq was right outside of the condo, and everything was supplied to bbq. The place was spacious, and well worth every penny. When we wanted to use the kayak and the paddle board Yvette and Mike were home always to let us use them. This was probably the best vacation ever, and Hale Kamaluhia with the touch of love from Yvette and Mike made the trip so much better. I do recommend renting their jeep. It's affordable, and you just pick up and drop off at the airport when you leave. No hassles!!! Mahalo nui loa for everything. Keep Moloka'i as precious as it is. We will be back!!!

The condo is very nice and you will find everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to a very compfortable bed (even the most compfortable beach chairs ever ;) ) Sitting on the Lanai we saw the wales and dolphins jumping and could sleep while listening to the massive waves crushing on shore. It's a little paradise on molokai and with Stacey's Brother and his wife you will always have someone going out of their way in making your stay perfect. Thank you !!

The condo has everything you could possibly need! Noticed that there were several of the condos in this association available on Air BB, highly advise this one! Perfect location next to the beach with views of palm trees and the ocean, best by far!

Despite the fact that it has the largest white sand beach in Hawaii and the highest sea cliffs in the world, Molokai is almost completely undeveloped. With a local population of around 7,000, you can see what Hawaii was like before all the giant resorts and tourist traps moved in. Our condo is on the West End of the Island, which like most of the Hawaiian Islands, is the dry end. That means very few rainy days and more pristine beaches for you to enjoy.
There are a few things that make our place unique from many of others on the West End. First, and most importantly, this condo is located at the end of the row. Air conditioning on Molokai comes in the form of the trade winds, which act like a giant fan keeping everything cool. If you rent another condo that is not an corner unit you will be sandwiched between two condos and have poor ventilation. With our place, 3 and a half of the four walls have ventilation, which means that no matter which direction the winds are blowing, air will flow freely through and help to keep you cool. The extra windows also mean more light. Second, our unit has actual high speed internet access. When last there in August of 2016, the bandwidth was randomly tested and the download speed was rated at 43.9 Mbps. While most people who come to Molokai don't plan to spend time working, having reliable, high-speed access means that if you do find yourself sucked back into reality for a minute, at least you won't have to waste time staring at a screen waiting for an email to open. Last, our condo isn't just a rental property. It's where we as a family have enjoyed many of our best moments. We go as often as we can with our children and friends, and as such, we have worked hard to provide a clean, comfortable, well maintained property that everyone can truly enjoy. We appreciate your comments and suggestions and the great stories and information our guests leave in our guest book.
  • Pros- wonderful location with miles of walkable trails, nice pool, lovely secluded beaches, and lots of friendly people, good wifi. Cons- filthy carpet, tiles falling off shower because wall is rotten, ants everywhere. Will and Sandy's communication was good gave us lots of good info. Unfortunately the condo was dirty and in real need of remodeling like so many of the other condos in the complex have already done. We loved the location and will definitely be back but we will not be staying in this unit.

  • Lovely condo just a stole from a beautiful beach.

    Gail2017-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place, with fabulous access to western Molokai's beaches and lots of outdoor activities were very close. We rented and used road bikes to enjoy the magnificent scenery, we went out on a vessel and snorkeled and SCUBA dived amongst the green sea turtles and we took wonderful hike along the ocean trails. This is a low key place, a time to relax, with out the massive crowds and all the hoopla of the other Hawaiian Island. We will go back.

    Jeff2017-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great condo in a great setting, one of the best in west Molokai

Molokai is a very special place-- a much slower pace of life than the other Islands. Not a single traffic light! Our condo has a very well-equipped kitchen, a great ocean view, quality queen bed, washer/dryer, free Internet and 42" TV with Netflix. Also included are all linens, and beach chairs . Ours is an upstairs unit. These are quieter with a better view. The bathroom/vanity and kitchen areas have a new washer/dryer, walk-in shower, and new cabinetry with granite countertops.
  • Very comfortable, attractive, well equipped reasonably priced condo close to the beach, with a pool.

Of the 300 units on property, 150 belonged to the hotel and 149 units (ours) were privately owned but still operated by the hotel. Sheraton very successfully managed the hotel for the first 10 years. Tokyo Kosan then bought the hotel and Colony Hotels ran the day-to-day operation. The hotel began to go downhill. At this time, some of the private units formed their own rental pool called "The Villas". Tokyo Kosan was unsuccessful in running the business and the complex fell into disarray. The hotel closed, as well as the restaurant and golf course. Most of the jobs on the west end were lost. The 149 private units continued to operate, some with "The Villas" and others on their own. • Neat and tidy little condo very close to the ocean with sunset ocean views. You can hear the waves crashing from your condo! More appropriate for adults with young kids than 4 adults as it is a cozy space. I went in winter so the waves were pretty awe inspiring and the beaches were more or less deserted. There is a tiny little grocery store close by with the basics or you can drive into town - about 30 minutes. Just a side note, if you are super sensitive to noise, you can hear your neighbours! There are quiet hours in effect which people adhere to though :)

  • Great location

    Tracy2017-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Good option on Molokai if you want to be near the wavy beaches. (Yes, some of them can be too wavy in winter, be advised, be careful). We like some waves, but if you don't, the tranquil swimming beaches are just 25 mins or so down the road. It's a good value for the island, which has limited options, most of which are overpriced. Having a pool to access when the water is too choppy is good. Molokai is a very special island, it is nice to see a Hawaiian island that is undeveloped. The beaches are virtually all yours. Marybeth was very quickly responsive to any questions or remarks we had. Mahalo!

    Beth2016-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Hau`oli Hula Hideaway! The host, Marybeth was amazing! She not only provided us with detailed info about the island and various activities that are available……….she also checked in with us before, during and after our stay on Molokai. The condo was cozy, clean and close to the beach and pools. Parking was always available. The area was quiet and provided the perfect relaxing get-away we were looking for. We will definitely stay there again!

  • We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. I would suggest anyone wanting a nice quite get away to the Hawaii you won't see on the bigger islands give this a try.

  • Maybeth was very informative from day one.a pleasure dealing with and she checked in to make sure we arrived ok. Cozy place. We enjoyed the beach..flying kites at night and seeing. Exploring every bit of molokai..jeep rental a MUST if u want to see it all!! Well be back!

  • This location is in building 14 of kehui beach resort on the first floor. Close to West side beaches & a general store on location. Quiet, peaceful spot with friendly staff willing to answer any questions you may have. Laundry is available for 1.75 to wash & to dry in building 16. I would recommend this location & would come back again for sure. Thanks again, see you next year.

  • With this being our first airbnb transaction we were at first a bit nervous about it. However, Ken our host made our experience a good one and gave us confidence that we had made the right choice. We had been on Molokai 20 year ago so we were familiar with where the condo was located. We had hoped to find a place closer to the water but since we didn't see any that were as complete and nice as this one, we were disappointed. We felt the price was fair and the whole transaction was easy. Ken always answered us right back and encouraged us to ask away with any questions we might have. The information packet sent via e-mail was accurate and helpful.

Imagine this...lazy palms swaying on the lawn, cool trade winds drifting through the condo while you read on the lanai or sip your favorite wine and enjoy the ocean view. You could relax on the luxurious king size bed and let your stress go away.
  • Condo was exactly as described and very well outfitted for our stay. Carol made us feel very welcome. Located in a beautiful side of the island with lots of sandy beaches nearby.

  • A wonderful getaway from life's busi-ness, just 15 minutes away by flight from busy Honolulu. The place is as advertised, and then some! We had everything we needed, enjoyed an oceanfront view the entire time we were there, and loved it so much it was so hard to leave! Molokai is a special place, unpretentious, and has a pace that is just right for those looking to truly take time off and rest and learn a little bit about Hawaii's history and natural gifts. At this location we spent our days sleeping, reading, going to the beach, cooking (the kitchen is very well-equipped!), and enjoying our meals and conversations on the lanai looking for a whale spout to surprise us. Went in town a few times for supplies and other attractions (Paddlers Inn and Hale Kealoha in town have live music!), and did the Kalaupapa hike to visit the leprosy settlement (recommend reading the novel Molokai by Alan Brennert before going!). The location of this villa, part of what used to be a golf resort, is on the west side of the island, so the hosts were kind to remind us to get supplies (food and snacks etc) in Kaunakakai (about a 30 minute drive) before driving over to the west coast. And even if you forgot something, there is the on-site convenient store open every day. Randy & Carol, Jas & Bill's hosting our stay made all the difference. We will definitely come again. Mahalo and aloha!

  • We fell in love with this apartment and with Molokai. We spent 4 days during our honeymoon and we wanted to stay longer because eveything was perfect. unfortunately we were not able to change our flights. We had a relaxing time, with everything you may need on your trip (including a cooler for wine, cooler and chairs to go to the beach, etc. The views from the apartment are great. The place was really clean. We didn´t have the chance to meet the host but she gave us clear instructions on how to get there and were really helpful during our stay.

    Olivia2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Molokai is a small but interesting island and a 3 day visit was just enough. While the condo was small and older, it met our needs. The hosts responded to our issues promptly and with good explanations and remedies. From what we've read and seen, it is tough to find a better place for a couple to spend a couple of days.

    Michael2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was exactly as described and the hosts were more than willing to answer our questions; despite not being on island. We will definitely come again soon! The room was small and cozy and the beach was a dream. We loved every minute of it!

    Rebekah2016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Carol our host was very proactive and sent us information ahead of our travel so we had ample time to look it over. She was very helpful to ensure we had a good start and finish. She offered a late checkout as our flight was later in the afternoon. We appreciated that. The unit was very well equipped. We appreciated the use of the cooler, beach towels, hair dryer, cable TV and music player. The view is excellent from the lanai. We ate there often. The beach is a couple of minutes walk. Nearby Papohaku beach is phenomenal and private. Overall all our stay was relaxing and welcoming.

Our condo is uniquely positioned at the Resort to enjoy sunset views & privacy. Lose track of time as you listen to the birds and the soothing breezes in the palm trees. Remodeled kitchen and bath. New King bed. Quality furnishings. Tax included.
We love our little piece of paradise and so do our guests. We have a unique location in the resort in that there aren't any other buildings adjacent to ours. Therefore when you are on the lanai, you won't see others on a neighboring lanai. And we are off the main resort path so there isn't the foot traffic that other buildings experience. Our condo is our second home and we have furnished it with the quality we enjoy in bedding, cookware, towels, etc. It isn't simply a "rental unit" so we thank you for caring for our things the way you care for yours.
Kepuhi Beach Resort is one of 3 condominium resorts on the west end of Molokai. It is a quiet, peaceful setting with a lot of space to roam. There are great hiking trails to secluded beaches. Restaurants are not aplenty on Molokai. Paddlers Inn, in Kaunakakai offers live music most nights and has a decent menu. The Cookhouse in Kualapuu is another favorite of the locals. Most of our guests prefer to grill their dinner on our resort gas grills. Great organic produce can be found at Kumu Farms which is just west of the airport. Look for their sign on the road. Closed weekends and Mondays.
  • Private location, great ocean view, got to meet some wild turkeys and a cardinal up close and personal. Excellent communication. Owners responded promptly to questions. Wide variety of music and games, anything and everything you needed including sunscreen, towels beach chairs. Had many staples in cupboard and could have made a major meal if desired. Very clean and oh so comfortable bed with extra pillows and blankets. Pool was not too cold and had great ocean view. Bushes around condo made it private and cool. Location super close to annual rodeo. Everything added up to a memorable stay on Molokai.

    Peter2017-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a most enjoyable stay. Ellyn was the perfect host and provided quick responses, very helpful information and accurate descriptions. The apartment was well-equipped and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the louvres that allowed the flow through breeze and eating outdoors. The outlook to the beach was beautiful. Ellyn provided excellent tourist information and we especially enjoyed the sea cliff outlook on the north of the island, 20 mile beach and Mocha Mamas coffee plantation. We would thoroughly recommend this stay to anyone wishing an authentic, quieter and easy Hawaiian experience.

    Trevor2017-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it more than lived up to our expectations. The apartment was great and the ocean view magnificent. The beach an easy walk. We loved eating breakfast and watching the sunset from the lenai. Very quit and restful, just what we needed. A bit of a drive to town for restaurants (30 Min), but the paddled and cookhouse more than worth it). All in all WONDERFUL.

    Pauline2017-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Ellyn and Tom's condo at the Kepuhi resort is in a fantastic location - perfect for viewing sunsets from the lanai, or just gazing at the ocean and watching wild turkeys march by. The condo was within walking distance of the beach, and well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The immediate grounds are well tended, and the price is reasonable relative to other options on Molokai. Be sure and take a walk north of the resort, through the abandoned golf course and along 4-wheel drive roads (or along the coast at low tide) to reach some spectacular, secluded pocket beaches.

  • Tom & Ellyn, The condo was amazing and so was our first visit to the island. My girlfriend and I can't wait to go back. We loved the view from the porch and the peaceful beach just a few steps away. We've already recommended a handful of friends to check out the island so you should get some calls to rent your place. Thanks again for such great accommodations! Cheers, Chris & Jill

  • Excellent condo totally as advertised. Ellyn and Tom were wonderful remote hosts and excellent communicators.

    Terry2016-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect! We had everything we needed and the description and photos are accurate. The sunsets at the beach just a short walk away, my favorite was the bedroom breeze at night... although we didn't meet our host they were always available.

Molokai is a quiet island that has not been developed for commercial tourism. There is some public transport, however renting a car is mandatory to get a full appreciation of this island's diverse natural beauty. Molokai especially the west side has the most beautiful beaches, Stunning sunsets, unspoiled nature, beautiful and very private white sand beaches that stretch for miles ! Lots of cove areas to safely swim & tidepools beaming with sea life! For those who choose to exercise while on vacation, there are great surfing & paddleboarding waves right in front, if you'd rather just soak up the tropical setting, you can go hiking on the many mountain trails on miles of secluded beaches. The condo has large lanais overlooking the ocean. If your here in the fall you can sit on the lounge chairs and watch the humpback whales. There is an abundance to see a lot of natural habitats which include wild turkeys, native bird species, butterflies, salamanders and such in the resort. Also the resort units are located literally a few yards from the most spectacular beaches! We have to pay Hawaii state tax charge of 13.42percent and is already included in our very reasonable rental rates, Lucky you! The grounds of the resort are well-maintained by staff and also very much secure with staff personal, very large grounds of no highrises and resort is the closet you'll get here in Molokai! Our unit is located away from the parking lot (but not a far walk) & also smack dab in the middle of the resort making for impeccable ocean views!
  • My husband and I went to Ella's place for our honeymoon trip. We were very excited, as we believed the price to be good, and the place itself to be a lovely place, right on the beach. When we got there, we were very surprised by the complex as we drove in, and our room. We did not know the history behind the complex and why it was largely abandoned, except for a few staff members and grounds management. We drove around in the dark trying to find our unit, as there were no explicit directions as to where our place was in the complex. Per the description of "beach bungalow style condo", we believed it to be a stand-alone, self-contained condo, but it was not. We were extremely confused by the wording on the listing. When we finally figured out where our room was, we found that it looked completely different than the pictures. There is an entire wall added to the condo that is not pictured, which cut the room in half and made it feel very small. The room looked a bit like it was mid-remodel, with cords hanging from the tops of the walls and unfinished counter edges. The furniture is not the same as pictured (added tv, different configuration, cheap dvd cupboard, crowded lanai). There is very poor lighting in the room itself, with only one lamp and a dim hanging light in the corner, and no light on the lanai if you wanted to see out at night. The buildings were a bit outdated (and not pictured), and because of that the walls are quite thin. We had very noisy upstairs neighbors, which disrupted our relaxation time often. The listing location is near a few beaches, and (outside of the room) is quite peaceful. However, it is on a remote part of the island. The "local" food is all at least 25+ minutes away from the condo. Due to the steep gas prices on the island made the distance a definite con for the condo, which we believed to be much nearer to a store/food. The fridge in the room is a mini fridge. For 12 days, my husband and I made the previously mentioned 25+ minute drive into town to get groceries for that day (two days max) because that is all of the space that the fridge would allow. It was very inconvenient for us, considering the gas and the time that it took to get to the store. As far as Ella as a host, her and her significant other were very prompt in getting back to us when we had questions about the WiFi, as well as messaging us before our arrival asking if we needed a rental vehicle. She was very sweet, and helpful when we had questions. Her condo does have a remodeled kitchen, which is well-lit (as described). The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, but the garbage can is the same size as the bathroom garbage...

  • Priscillas flat was as beautifull and well furnished as I expected. Everything perfect and efficient. Molokai is a marvellous island if you're sort of looking for the real Hawaii but a car is a must - especially to reach the flat and any shopping you might need to do. Bring good books and dvd's as the only entertainmet is the fantastic beach and yourself.

    Annette2015-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Ella was really nice to work with and the stay was fantastic!

    Justin2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Ella's place is as described. Tucked in on the West side of Moloka'i. Very quiet and private if that is what you are looking for. Fully remodeled and stocked with all of the necessary equipment needed for cooking. Everything was clean. There is no beach equipment or gear so be prepared. Definitely need a rental car to move around the island. MOE bus goes by every two hours so make sure you are aware of its schedule. Overall a great place to relax and unwind. You CANNOT beat having Kepuhi beach as your backyard and you being the only one there. Mahalo Ella!

  • Priscilla's place is not for everyone; we stayed at this abandoned holiday resort for five nights looking for seclusion and tranquility, which we found. The western shore of Molokai was once inhabited with a bunch of western oriented holiday resorts, aimed at entertaining affluent tourists. The resort's proprietors left the premises in the early 2000's, and while some general maintenance and management are still in place today, the Kepuhi beach resort may look and feel to some like the scene from an apocalyptic movie. Having said that, we truly enjoyed this surreal setting that comes with a handful of secluded beaches and beautiful views. Priscilla's place was very well kept, yet smelled a bit stuffy and the interior was a little dated. The place comes well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, utensils and plenty of ice cube trays ;-) We had sufficient towels for the week and the bathroom cupboard was stacked with insect repellant, sunscreen and aloe vera. The walls of the place are very thin; in case of loud neighbors the place can get a tad noisy. While the locals didn't speak very highly of the west shore, we truly enjoyed our proximity to Manahalo and some of the best beaches that the island has to offer. You will definitely need the convenience of having a rental car at your disposal as the island's main attraction are somewhat dispersed. Parking is free however, and the roads are well kept. The abandoned resort is now rife with harmless wildlife such as wild turkeys, exotic birds, Indian deer and the occasional wild dog. The surrounding beaches come with rather wild surf and should be advised against swimming. One of the more accessible pieces of ocean that we learned some of the locals swam in were located at Dixie Maru beach. Also the resort's swimming pool is in good condition. We thank Priscilla and her fiancé for offering this unique experience that catered well to our needs during our stay in lovely Molokai!

  • Cute place to stay with a gorgeous beach right outside! Place was clean and homey. A little bit of a drive into town, but the location was great. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

    Elizabeth2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Priscilla's place was super comfortable. It really let's you feel at home and get away from it all. Location is super quite and literally less than a five minute walk from the beach, plus there's even more beach ( 3 miles of it) down the road. So amazing. Don't hesitate to book a few nights!

    Brian2016-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing. Beautiful and quiet. Can hear the waves at night and see millions of stars in the sky. Highly recommend if you want the beauty of Hawaii without the crowds. Will definitely return.

Our condo is spacious and comfortable. It is very quiet and secluded with wildlife often visible from the back lanai. It is perfect for a couple or a family with small children.
The condo is very open with lofted, beamed ceilings. There is a very large back lanai for sunbathing, reading or just enjoying a meal al fresco. It is very close to the beautiful pool and hot tub (the only one around). The condo is also very private. There isn't anyone who can see into the back living area.
  • This place is Awesome! The perfect place to get away from it all! Patti has thought of it all - the condo is private and super comfortable. There's a pool, hot tub and grill. You can walk 5 mins to the beach. And the beach! Wow! It is breathtaking, and empty! It was the perfect place for my boyfriend to propose ... And did I mention Patti provides a car??? What an amazing adventure! People say that you get bored on Moloka'i but we found that we didn't even get to all of it. If you are a tech junky, this place is NOT for you. There is wifi in the condo, which is nice (Netflix), but cell phone service was non-existent (a plus). Go experience the natural beauty of Moloka'i! A great place to start is at Kalaupapa, which includes an epic hike down the tallest sea cliffs in the world, or ride a mule, of fly if you like. Another place we found stunning was Halawa Bay, which featured a black sand beach and a river that winds through a lush jungle that is fed by 2 massive waterfalls and an almost never ending (27 mile) drive around the one of most remote coastlines in the world. Need I say more?!?!

Visitors are delighted by sunsets and white water views, steps from an empty beach and a short drive from the small airport of Molokai. It is a lofted one bedroom that sleeps four people, with full kitchen, lanai and necessary linens and accessories. It's a short walk (500') to white water, or the pool. You'll need a rental car to fully explore the island - but if you choose to stay at the condo, a huge 80" TV has Netflix access -- super fast wifi keeps you connected back home.
The condo features a lofted bedroom with a queen sized bed and two sleeping couches downstairs. It's about 800 square feet and has 1.5 bathrooms as well as all the necessary kitchen gear. The Villas are one of the best options for a romantic getaway, for the Molokai-Oahu paddle races, and for families looking for an easy way to hang out for a weekend - or longer. There is a general store (of sorts) for the bare necessities in the complex however we recommend a trip to town (Kaunakakai) for groceries when you land. There are several grocery stores in town -- but bear in mind that Island Time may mean that some stores are closed when you need them (especially on Sundays) There are two large, fluffy futons downstairs, perfect for kids or singles, and a queen-sized bed upstairs, and a beautiful lanai that even works for sleeping.
The Villas are located on the far West End of the island, and were built many years ago as part of a now-shuttered luxury resort complex. It's a wild adventure. The surf is much higher in winter than in summer, and the beaches shift significantly with the seasons. The condo association is not responsible for many of the ... less maintained buildings adjacent to the resort -- but that's all because of an ongoing feud between Molokai Ranch, which owns much of the West End of the island, and residents of everywhere else.
  • The place was perfect for us. Had everything we needed. And netflix on the ENORMOUS screen was a nice option in the evenings.

    dylan2017-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Place was really nice, it was beautiful to wake up and see the beach right out the window. The area is kind of secluded and parts of it belonged to a ranch that no longer operates on Moloka'i. The people that were on the property were really nice and Tom's property comes well equipped with almost everything you need! It was great! Good place for the price! Nice views and relaxation!

    Viisha2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Tom's place is very relaxing! You will enjoy stunning sunsets & breathtaking beaches!! Enjoy

    Kari2017-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great for a weekend getaway. Great view from the lanai. Located on secluded west side so a little out of the way if you want to be closer to town but great if you're looking for space and relaxation. Condo had kitchenware which was nice for making food at home instead of eating out. Condo has very little sound proofing and voices carry very far, so if you have a few people who are all talking you basically have to whisper to not disturb the neighbors who are mostly over 65 and tuck in early.

    Jenny2015-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is lovely, more amenities than expected. I went with my family and stayed overnight, I wish I've could stayed longer. The apartment is comfortable and the extra sofa/bed is was just what I need it. The view, the sea breeze, the peace. If you have any concern about the place, the owner or property manager will get back to you, great and fast response. Thank you!

    Gretchen2015-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, quiet and peaceful place with stunning views over the ocean and the sunset. The unit has two floors, lots of space and a well equipped kitchen and plenty of towels etc. We stayed here for one night, before a paddle race back to Ohau. We brought food as it's not much around. There is only a tiny mini market within the complex. I'd suggest to rent a car if you'll stay for longer.

    Nina & Stew2014-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • We are three of us and all of us liked room very much. Molokai is the best island to spend slow time. Room has great TV and bed so we could rest so well. nice breeze came all night. Thank you very much!!

  • This is a great option for accommodation on Molokai. Not only did we have amazing access to west-end beaches (and stunning sunsets!), but we also felt right at home. My place is close to 3 white sand beaches. You’ll love my spacious condo because of quiet, the upscale design, 180 degree views of the ocean, and amazing sunsets. The views, the location, the people, the ambiance, the outdoors space are all outstanding.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
This is an upper floor unit with high ceilings and spectacular views of the ocean and beach. It is very quiet here.
This condo is located in the Kaluakoi Resort area of the island, on the sunny west side of Molokai.
  • The home was amazing! Lovely decor with obviously high end quality! We had every kitchen utensil possible at our disposal. Very quick walk to beautiful secluded beaches. I will certainly stay here again next time on Molokai.

  • Scott's place was perfect for our family and visit to Molokai. The kitchen had every available need for culinary cooking and delights! The view of the ocean was beautiful as was the entire condo. The furnishings were lovely and comfy. There were so many thoughtful details like a cooler and board games. The coffee grinder and coffee maker were top of the line. • Beth's place is a dream! We stayed there for the Molokai paddle board race and it was perfect! So close to the beach, beautiful view and very well maintained. According to our friends staying in the same complex ours was the only one with ac. But with it being an end unit you didn't even really need it because there was such a good breeze. We are looking forward to staying there next year!

    Krystle2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful experience with Beth. She was prompt with all questions and her description on her property was perfect. Her home was beautiful and well kept. If we were to go back to Molokai we would probably choose to stay on the east end though. Traveling with kids everyday over there took a while due to the slow speed limits. Molokai is perfect for those looking for the real Hawaiian experience.

    Meghan2016-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beth was an amazing host. Very attentive and easy to communicate with. We felt very welcome and had a great stay. The complex is quiet and the amenities (pool/hot tub /ect..) were really nice. Not to far from town. Definatly recommend staying here if looking for a great trip to Molokai!

  • Perfect place to base ourselves before we had a race. Super comfortable and clean. Will recommend this condo to everyone looking to relax.

    Luke2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful. There is lot's of room and the way it's set up provides for lots of privacy. There were 5 of us -- 4 adults and a 2-year old. The pool is beautiful and very clean. The complex is very well maintained. Beth answered all our questions very quickly. She also managed to get a new rice cooker there in time for us, as we'd asked if there was one available. The beaches are close. There is lots of room for a 2-year to run around in the gardens and the lawns. It was a very enjoyable stay, and we'd like to do it again.
