Eric is a fantastic Host. He is kind, prompt and very respectful of your space and needs. Has years of experience as a airbnb host and knows his stuff. Rental car, Scuba, activities, any question he's got an answer for and is more than willing to help out. I believe this location to be great for single individuals (man or woman) and of course couples. I'm typically very sensitive to good / bad vibes from people and in no way did I ever get a bad impression. With the house only being a one bedroom I shouldn't need to mention its not big enough for couples with kids. As far as space while your here Eric is very good at sensing what you the guest wants and he even encouraged me to treat the house as if it was my own. Allowing me to stock the fridge and use his counter space for my stay. His house has everything he mentioned in his ad and now he even has an A/C unit in the bedroom for those of you who like it a bit colder at night. Eric included ice chests, lawn chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, fishing poles and snorkel gear for my use at any time free of charge which was very nice of him to do. In addition he is also a certified scuba instructor and knows all the local dive sites and owns ample gear to take you out to all the coolest spots. Eric also deals in car rentals for a VERY competitive price and I took him up on his offer for my stay, he included a complimentary pickup / drop off to the airport instead of me having to take a cab / uber all the way to his house. His house is quite spacious and very comfortable and located in a perfect spot. Just across the street is a beach perfect for watching the sunset. Just behind the condo is Times Market (like a Safeway/Carrs or Fredmyers) perfect for stocking up on food. There are 3 bars all withen walking distance if your a drinker, and countless food options withen walking distance and even more just over a mile down the road. All the popular beaches are within a 15-45 min drive depending on which side of the island you want to sunbath. Kehei is very conveniently located even though it looks out of the way on the map and on a daily basis my adventures took me to other towns the drive was always a pleasure. Overall I give Eric and his house a 10/10. Great host, great location and if I'm back in the area I would definitely book with him again.
Anthony2017-04-19T00:00:00ZNice place for the price. Good location. Eric was helpful, he took me out snorkeling and that was wonderful! Thanks Eric.
Anthony2017-05-09T00:00:00ZEric's place was a great base camp for me and my boyfriend during our stay in Maui. The room was comfortable, the private bathroom was great, and for what it's worth, I loved the decor. Eric also had a closet with coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkel gear for us to use, which was incredibly useful - particularly the coolers during the Road to Hana drive! My one complaint is that Eric was very negative when hearing about our plans - he told us not to do several things that ended up being really fun, so I'd take his advice with a grain of salt if you have done your research. Other than that, he seemed like a nice guy, and his cat was also really friendly.
Nina2017-05-15T00:00:00ZMy wife and I just visited Maui for our 28th anniversary. We truly enjoyed our stay of 5 nights at Eric's place. Eric was a wonderful host! He gave us wonderful advise where to visit in Maui. Thanks to his information, we visited some truly stunningly beautiful places in Maui that we would not have known to visit! The bedroom was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and we had the living room and kitchen to use. The unit is located in a quiet and nice condo conmunity, and is conveniently located, within short walking distance to restaurants, shops, supermarket - check out the Times, a grocery + supermarket where we found everything we need. The Times open from 5am-1am. Eric provided us a key to access a fence door that is a few steps away from Eric's place and leads to the parking lot of the Times, that made it so convenient for us shop at Times. There is a laundry room in Eric's building to use too! Secret Beach Eric recommended us to visit was the most beautiful beach we visited in Maui! We would not have known its existence if Eric had not told us! Eric also told us about tourism traps to avoid. We already miss Maui, and we would want to stay at Eric's place again next time when we visit Maui. In short, we would give it 5-star rating!
Song2017-05-02T00:00:00ZEric's place was comfortable, quiet and very conveniently located. It had all the necessary amenities to make our trip comfortable. I loved that it was steps away from the beach and all the major shopping centers and restaurants. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and family friendly. Eric was a super friendly, helpful and courteous host who tried his best to make our stay comfortable and fun. He is very knowledgeable about Maui and knows all the cool beaches, hikes and eateries. He was also kind enough to let us use his beach chairs, snorkeling gear and boogie boards for free! I would definitely come back here again and I highly recommend it to anyone else!
sameera2017-03-26T00:00:00ZEric provides amazing advice around Maui and also lots of great ideas that helps you navigate around your stay in Maui. Would definitely come back again.

Michael2017-05-06T00:00:00ZSimply amazing. I stayed for four days and had one of the best trips of my life due to both the place and the people. The house is located in a secluded parcel of land in beautiful Haiku. The area is very safe. The surrounding is all vegetation. The house itself is well crafted. The patio is ideal for lounging with the sun or the rain outside. The interior is exquisite, filled with simple wooden furniture. The living room is spacious and one can spend enough hours just sitting on the raised coach reading, meditating, relaxing. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable. I slept well. One note about the bugs in the house: Yes, there will be some bugs because the house is nestled in the lush jungle. But, do not think the attendants of the house are complacent about it. They care very deeply for the comfort of the guests have taken measures against insects and are very forthcoming about the situation. Do not be off put (and honestly I saw nothing that disturbed or even surprised me). This is the real experience. And one last word about the people. They made the trip for me. Having arrived solo, my trip would have been much less if not for the kindness of Peter, Mariola, and Andrew who guided me to the best of the local flavors. They are kindle, gentle people and if you get lucky you could participate in yoga with Mariola or muy thai with Peter. I could not believe I had such an opportunity. Overall : 7/5.
Kaiyuan2017-05-01T00:00:00ZIf you're looking for positive people, gorgeous nature, and an awesome room..... You should probably be here. The house managers are unforgettable. If you like to be happy, this is your place. If you Don't like to be happy.... Well, I don't know what to tell you.
Conor2017-04-25T00:00:00ZFriendly hosts. All descriptions about this place are 100% accurate.
David2017-04-18T00:00:00ZWe had a great time! Look forward to definitely staying again in the future
Rhia 2017-04-17T00:00:00ZWhat a delightful and wonderful place - the people, the home, the property, the town! I highly recommend this home, especially if you want a true Maui experience. From day one, I was welcomed with the true spirit of Aloha and Maui and this continued throughout my stay. Mariola, Peter, Andrew...I am blessed to have spent this week with you and will always be grateful for your openness and the gracious people you are. I enjoyed our chats, adventures, the nourishing tea and island fruits, and getting to know each of you. You are beautiful people. I stayed in this home for 8 nights. The hosts cleaned my room and changed linens halfway through my stay, which was unexpected and welcome. The home was very clean, well maintained, with everything needed to make my stay comfortable. The description was accurate, although the pictures do not do the home justice (gorgeous hardwood floors, beautiful vegetation, bright and good energy). This was the perfect situation for my stay in Maui in so many beautiful and unexpected ways. If I am ever on Maui again, I will definitely stay here again!
JoDell2017-04-10T00:00:00Zif you are looking for a quite place that has a peaceful and almost spiritual vibe this is it. Better than any cookie cutter resort. Probably not for those looking for party atmosphere very quite and tranquil. Great hosts Mahalo Vincent
vincent 2017-04-02T00:00:00ZIt is great and very friendly place. You can feel at home there. Quite area and very clean house. It's a good location if you you want to see this part of island, I mean Haleakala. Thank you for that great time! Thank

Great place to experience the real Hawaiian life style! Close enough to shopping and rest of the big city to get what you need but far enough to just enjoy the scenery.
Caton2017-05-14T00:00:00ZShannon and his family were so helpful and amazing with us so we don't have enough words to describe how wonderful was our stay in their place. The room is exactly as it is described and the bed was extremely confortable. Every detail was perfect and we strongly recommend this Airbnb to couples who wants to explore Mauii and get some rest at it. Mahalo Shannon you guys were fantastic.
Manuel2017-05-09T00:00:00ZShannon and his wife were great hosts. Being able to park in the car port was great since it was raining 2 of the days we were there. They had many extras included: mini fridge, silverware, dishes. The beach chairs also came in handy. Shannon was very prompt in responding to messages and was very friendly in person.
Timmy2017-05-02T00:00:00ZIt was so nice to walk to the nearby beach! We walked over early in the morning and had the beach and coastline to ourselves! It was magical!
Elise2017-04-25T00:00:00ZVery friendly and helpful hosts.
Chuck2017-04-22T00:00:00Zwe are so happy of have stayed in his home. Is beautiful, spacious and near the market. Shanon and his family are very lovely and always help us in things that we need (towels, beach chair, etc)The room was very clean and has a freezer which is amazing.
Nicole2017-04-03T00:00:00ZSuch a wonderful place to stay. We arrived early but we were greeted and given some tips on what to do until we could check in. We were able to use their parking space which was kind and given some dining tips ( which included the Millhouse where Michelle the host also works) such an amazing restaurant! Shannon and Michelle were great hosts we chatted with them many times. The bed was super comfy with added touches like the water and beer made for a wonderful stay!
Jeff2017-03-23T00:00:00ZShannon's place was a fantastic location to base ourselves out of for a week of exploring Maui. It has everything you need plus more! The room is equipped with a microwave/fridge and coffee maker (there was ice packs in the freezer for those lunches you might want to pack). There was also beach chairs which were greatly appreciated! While there is a great little restaurant (which we would recommend) called Fatt Chicks within walking distance, you will need a car really to access other restaurants. There is also a nice beach within walking distance and access to some nice hiking very close. There is a Sack n Save about a 5-7 minute drive away for any groceries you might want. The room was bright, fresh, and clean and there was also plenty of local brochures to check out the local sights/activities. This was a real find in Maui and we both enjoyed chatting with our hosts. We hope to return someday! Thanks Shannon!

After a day long venture down the road to Hana, it was a great space to stay. The grounds are gorgeous! There were 3 of us and we didn't feel cramped, and found everything we needed for our stay. We'll be sending friends and family your way as they travel to Maui. Thank you!
Tori2017-05-16T00:00:00ZAmazing home and property! Every tiny detail was attended to. Highly recommended!!!
Kat2017-05-15T00:00:00ZAbsolutely beautiful jungle plants all around and a little ocean view. Our host even brought us fresh bananas. Very clean and cozy. We loved our stay and enjoyed being so close to Hana, the black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park, and the red sand beach.
Adrianell2017-05-04T00:00:00ZHana is a quiet, secluded place in itself. Susie and Randy's place has lush gardens, and the tiny house was clean, modern and hip. We immediately felt at home, and so relaxed! Highly recommend these hosts and this spot if you want to get away to a hip and relaxing sanctuary. Mahalo!
Sarah2017-04-29T00:00:00ZThis is a sweet little gem of a place! Great accommodations and they have stocked it well. Susie and Randy were so thoughtful and warm. We got a great tour of the property and were pleasantly surprised at the beauty and care taken in the development of their land. Would definitely stay here again!
Ben2017-04-27T00:00:00ZSince it's all nature surrounding, there are lots of mosquitoes in the room and we found ants clusters on the cutting board and showed us a very fancy pattern when they fled away. We got lots of mosquito bite within 5 minutes staying in the room and we had to cancel the trip unfortunately. Susie is very responsive to answer my questions, she also refund me the cleaning fee. The location is good, if mosquito is not your concern, I would imagine it could be a choice to consider.
Dawei2017-04-25T00:00:00ZPerfect getaway! And proof that tiny homes can have big personalities. Well stocked with everything you could need in a peaceful spot in beautiful Hana.

I had a wonderful time at Phil's! I really liked my spacious and clean bedroom, the ample shared space to make new friends and the big garden for some yoga. I very much appreciated Phil's advices on what to do. Mahalo, I would like to come back.
Karin2017-04-22T00:00:00ZI had two pleasant nights at Phil's house. The room and bed were clean and comfortable and the overall experience very nice as well. Also, the house's location is great - very central and easy to get everywhere quickly!
Britta2013-11-11T00:00:00ZExcellent
Jean-François2017-01-24T00:00:00ZWe visited Maui for the first time, and are thrilled that we stayed at Phil's Little Piece of Paradise -- it truly is just that! A huge, lush, serene property; abundant with all of the most beautiful vegetation that Maui has to offer. From coconut trees to citrus vines to exotic flowers, and sometimes cute little wild chickens! This place truly has it all. We stayed in a cozy and clean bedroom with a very comfortable bed. We slept like babies every night. Our bedroom had a fan in it, and because of where his property is situated, never found ourselves too hot or too cold. Phil himself is probably the ideal airbnb host. He loves adventure, has great stories to share, and is simply an easygoing, happy-go-lucky sort of person. He went out of his way for us way too many times! He even got out his ladder just to chop down a coconut from his tree for us to try! That being said, he is the type of host who respects your needs for as much, or as little, interaction as you need. (If you're smart, and enjoy great company, you'll take the time to get to know the guy!) We were so grateful to have him as our host, and look forward to staying with him again. Here are some of my favourite amenities that were offered: -The kitchen (it's kept super clean, and has everything you need to save money and cook at home) -Bathrooms (one has a big walk-in shower with two shower heads) -Outdoor shower (perfect after spending every day exploring and getting dirty!) -Towels (beach towels and regular towels -- but be sure to follow the aloha way and be conservative; re-use your towels, people!) -Bedding -Lots of closet space & shelving in our bedroom -Beautiful veranda -The property itself; and the generous bounty of fresh fruit! -The house itself! Not that we spent much time inside. If you are a home-body, you can enjoy plenty of lovely, comfortable common space to sit and relax. -Phil's rental cars (save money and rent your car from Phil! ps: you WILL need a car!) -Recycling and compost! Phil cares about the environment, so it was refreshing and important for us to stay with someone who was mindful of their environmental footprint. -Phil's Tips/Guide to Maui!!!!! Phil actually has a print-out of all of the best places to explore in Maui! We took advantage and explored everywhere. My friend Paisley's favourite place was a waterfall that was simply labelled "Mile Marker 24" on the road to Hana. It's totally out of the way, and not something that you'd find in any tourist guidebook. Take the advice and experience of a nature-loving local. :) I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family, and I look forward to staying here again! Thank you Phil! All the best! Love from Canada, Amira and Paisley
Amira2016-11-14T00:00:00ZPhil is an interesting, cool guy! Lots of good stories. If you like outdoor activity or adventure, I recommend staying here and getting advice on what to do from Phil. Knows Maui outdoors super well! We'd stay again.
Megan2016-10-09T00:00:00ZPhil was great and very informative about different activities. The room was as described and very comfortable.
David2016-01-01T00:00:00ZI would like to start off by saying this is not a negative review. Overall the home is clean and the grounds are well maintained. Phil was an amazing host and even took us to one of the nearby attractions (showing us a behind the scenes tour). It should be noted that if you reserve a room here, you will be sharing the home with the four other available rooms in the home. We have reserved a home on air bnb before and the home was a one bedroom with separate amenities. This was not the case here. We were in a bedroom with one right next to us and one across the hallway. Walls are thin so we heard everything as well as they heard us. Very little privacy in that regard. Also, things were a bit crammed in the morning as the other guests were brewing their coffee, making their breakfast and planning their day. Likewise, dinner time presented similar issues. There is an outside shower that was awesome! It is also away from the city therefore very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. In short, here are the pros and cons; Cons: lack of privacy (hard to be on vacation with your loved one and have to be quiet in the night time), the road was a mess due to his neighbors but that isn't a dig at Phil, not his fault but needs to be out there, sharing the place with so many others made it less like a vacation and more like we paid to crash at someone's home for a week, inordinate amount of house rules also took away from feeling like on vacations and more like feeling obligated to keep up because at someone else's home. Pros: very quiet, away from town but not too far, very clean grounds and home, phil is great, will show you around if he isn't busy training for a race , lots of fresh fruit for the picking (great for smoothies or fresh squeezed juice), outdoor shower, great if you don't mind sharing with a bunch of other guests, has a grill and full kitchen.
Michael2017-02-16T00:00:00ZA gorgeous, peaceful place to stay. We loved our stay here and nothing was too much trouble for Phil. Loved the sightseeing recommendations that were in the room for our perusal. A stones throw from the wonderfully quirky and artistic town of Paia which is a must see if your on Maui. Highly recommended and will definitely come back and stay here again. Many thanks to Phil, Mike and Ruby for all your help.

Very nice place ! We enjoy our time in Summer's house. Very welcoming family ! Large bedroom, quiet and clean. Private bathroom as well. We could use also beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella... very kind attentions! And if you need some advices or information about the island and visits, feel free to ask to Summer. :) We spent 3 nights here, it was perfect!
cam2017-05-09T00:00:00ZKind and gracious host family, clean and quiet room. Great place all around.
Tim2017-04-30T00:00:00ZWow! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Summer and her family welcomed us in with open arms and we had the most fantastic Airbnb experience with them. We will definitely be back and cannot thank you enough Summer for your hospitality, kindness and for being such an incredible host!
Carmanah2017-04-27T00:00:00ZSummer and her family were very welcoming, making the stay quite pleasant. The home is very well located for access to Kahalui (and Kihei) as well as Haleakala and (when it re-opens) Iao. The bedroom has a desk (which is not always the case with room rentals) and room for everything that I brought for my three day stay. No surprises - which is exactly what I hope for. Thanks, Summer!
Marianne2017-04-19T00:00:00ZSummer and her family place great emphasis on living together and feel-good moments. They do this with a lot of heart and soul that made the stay incredibly pleasant and I immediately felt at home and welcome. The kitchen is equipped with everything bagels, coffee and much more was offered to me. The only slight drawback: The litter box is in the bathroom of the guests. So who is not a cat lover or do not like about litter is wrong here.
Alexandra2017-04-14T00:00:00ZSummer and her family are wonderful hosts. My significant other and I had an amazing time in Maui. We hope to visit again soon!
Ian2017-03-30T00:00:00ZSummer and her family are very welcoming and helpful. The accomodation was completed by many great details in the matter of taking care of guests (apart from towels, we were also offered to borrow necessities for beach, bath cosmetics, coffeemachine etc.). We also realy appreciated Summers advice about the island and places to visit.
David2017-03-23T00:00:00ZThank you Summer for the comfortable and welcoming environment. We enjoyed staying here. Thank you for the extras: snorkel gear, towels, coffee etc. Friendly cats.

Rich and Gail offer a really great place that is equipped with everything that you could possible need (beach umbrella, seats, bodyboards) as well as being within a quick walk to the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed staying with them in their spacious place!
Michael2017-04-28T00:00:00ZLovely condo with all the details provided.
Tracy2017-04-20T00:00:00ZGreat hosts, great beach gear, well equipt kitchen (except for the standar Airbnb blunt knives), a bit of a hike to the beach but still walkable if you bring minimal beach gear.
Marika2017-04-13T00:00:00ZAmazing accommodation with a fairly decent location. Definitely recommend!
Kenneth2017-03-26T00:00:00ZThe condo was clean and well-decorated. It was a perfect place to stay when attending a wedding at the Four Seasons resort nearby. We loved that the hosts provided recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. Parking in the complex was also very convenient. Thank you for a great stay in Wailea!
Judy2017-03-06T00:00:00ZThe location of the condo was fabulous! Close to everything in a very quiet subdivision. We enjoyed how spacious it was! Hosts a Rich and Gail were wonderful to deal with, would not hesitate staying here again.
Mary2017-03-01T00:00:00ZVery nice place to stay. They have really given it a lot of thought. You can tell the owners care about their rental & provide more than expected when it comes to amenities. I've never stayed in Wailea (URL HIDDEN) a very beautiful part of the island and most of the beaches nearby are great for families. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Errin2017-02-26T00:00:00ZIt's a great location, great view, very quite, convenient shopping close by. We had a wonderful time here. Art and Lynette were very kind throughout our visit. They greeted us with a glass of delicious pineapple wine and helped us with suggestions about local attractions and places to eat. The room is beautifully furnished with plenty of room. The views are spectacular. We couldn't have asked for more, and it was much homey than staying at a hotel. We'll be back.
David2017-05-13T00:00:00ZOur stay was exactly what is advertised- the house was beautiful and the owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating from the moment we paid. Thank you Art and Lynette for making our Maui visit just perfect!
Douglas2017-05-11T00:00:00ZAbsolute perfection! Lynnette and Art are outstanding hosts. It is by far our best AirBNB experiences. I would encourage you to stay here if you are going to Maui. A 5 star accommodation! Thanks so much!
John2017-04-24T00:00:00ZWhat a great place to stay. It has a great central location with good access to the peak, beaches, and the beginning of the road to Hana. Also has wonderful views of the two coasts and so many stars at night. We wish we could have stayed longer! Kula Bistro nearby is a must! Art and Lynnette are wonderful hosts and are so responsive. Lynnette was more than accommodating on so many occasions and a great chef as well. We hope to return soon!
Josh2017-04-15T00:00:00ZAwesome view, best decorated and cleanest B&B I have ever been too. Breakfast was great. No complaints and would love to stay here again
Stephanie2017-04-08T00:00:00ZMy mom and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Maui and it was absolutely beautiful!! Lynnette and Art were so kind and helpful with getting us settled and giving us advice on Maui must-dos. They went above and beyond. My mom wants to come back in the fall with her sister! Their location was great for us because we could drive to the more touristy places but avoid traffic on the way back. Close to Haleakala, we were able to go see the sunrise and make it back in time for their weekend breakfast, which was just delicious. Definitely stay if you have the chance!!
Lilly2017-03-26T00:00:00ZThe cottage is lovely with incredible views. And Art and Lynnette are delightful hosts. We highly recommend!

Ashley's condo in pristine Wailea is as beautiful and clean as it looks in the photos. Well worth it. The lanai is fabulous with a green lush view that surrounds you and lovely sunset in the distance on the right. The grounds are so clean w/kind and friendly groundskeepers and security. It’s wonderful quiet at night too and perfect for stargazing. The location is ideal with everything being a short walk away and the space itself truly has everything you could want. It was impeccable upon arrival, comfortable beds, beautiful bedrooms/bathrooms, great closets, great kitchen that includes a fridge w/ice machine, handy washer/dryer and fantastic lanai. It even came equipped with not only multiple beach and shower towels, but 4 beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and frisbee. All of which pleasantly surprised us and we used a ton! So handy and so fun! Thank you Ashley! Check in and check out were the most effortless I've experienced and Ashley was so prompt and helpful with all email communications (including a suggested dinner at Mamma's Fish House after I asked for restaurant recommendations, which although a little on the pricey side, was worth every penny and totally memorable). The apartment also has 3 awesome TVs and wifi, and the two small pools w/multiple BBQs nearby are great too for a more laid back afternoon. The walk to Wailea beach is really short (about 15min) and you can get to the Shops at Wailea in a very short walk as well. There's also an awesome restaurant called The Monkey Pod about 15min walk away. We had a car rental, so having our own parking space made everything smoother as well. We were able to drive to Big Beach in 10min, to Paia in 30min, to Haleakala summit in 90min, and so on. The area we were staying in was so beautiful, it made it hard to ever want to even leave it! On a side note, we took a sail with Trilogy (great sailing company for whale watching etc.) and the Maalaea harbour they departed from was an easy 20min drive from Ashely's place. Additionally, we went to the Te au Moana Luau at the Marriot (also a truly beautiful experience), and we were able to walk to it from Ashley's in under 15min, really just adding to the ease of our over all experience. Highly recommend!
Amanda2017-03-29T00:00:00ZWe loved our stay at this extremely convenient, comfortable, and homey condo. The location is excellent, it is only a short 15 minute walk to the beach, or near by markets and stores. Ashley was extremely accommodating of all our needs, and really went above and beyond. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!
Penny2017-03-18T00:00:00ZI did not know what to expect considering this is my first experience with Airbnb. If all other host is as great as Ashley then I will definitely be a returning customer. She responds is such a timely manner. Great updates to the condo. Great location (10-15 minute walk to Shops at Wailea). I love how she puts in little considerations like a new sink sponge and beach accessories so visitors don't have to think about that. The lanai has a great view of the ocean. The neighborhood is so nice and quiet. It really is home away from home.
Lee2017-03-14T00:00:00ZGreat place ... Ashley was very helpful and the place has everything you need in a lovely environment. It's an easy walk to the shops at Wailea ...
Margo2017-03-05T00:00:00ZWe stayed at this apartment as a family of 6 and it was perfect! The beds were amazing, everything was clean and new and there were even beach umbrellas, chairs etc. at our disposal. Ashley was very quick to respond to any questions we had and communication was very friendly and prompt. The location of the apartment is beautiful with impeccably kept grounds and gardens and birds in the morning. I would highly recommend!
Freya2017-02-28T00:00:00ZGreat condo ! Ashley is very responsive. The location of this condo in Wailea is fantastic - close to my favorite beaches including Polo and Wailea beaches. I especially liked the view of the ocean and sunset from the lanai, the wonderful air conditioning, the comfortable beds and pillows in both bedrooms and the great pools. Also close to Wailea shops and nearby restaurants. In the evening we took advantage of streaming TV that is already set up in the condo for Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Now, Hulu etc. as well as regular cable.
Douglas2017-02-14T00:00:00ZVery nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable
Cathy2017-01-23T00:00:00ZWe had a wonderful time at this condo. It is as advertised, plenty of room for our family, within walking distance of the beach and Wailea / Kihei. And while we love the whole island, this area has the best weather. Maui was under flood watch for a couple of days, but the worst we had was partial clouds. There is plenty to do and great places to eat in the neighborhood and beyond. You won't find this information in the listing, but Ashley has "local knowledge". Just ask. Thank you Ashley!

Beautiful, clean and cozy suite! Perfect as a base camp for exploring. Make sure to get a rental vehicle to travel to different places to really experience the island. It was great coming home from a day at the beach and being able to relax in the backyard and then in the cool studio. Tip - bring a chrome cast! You can watch Netflix through your phone at night on the tv after spending the day in the sun :-). Karen was a great host!
Christina2017-04-06T00:00:00ZKaren's place is cozy, clean and convenient. There is a shopping mall and bus transit station nearby, good location. But the neighbors' dogs always bark when we get out and come in and my friend scare of dogs.Except the dog,all good.
Meng Yi2017-03-22T00:00:00ZKaren and her husband were such sweet and thoughtful hosts! Our room was immaculate and came equipped with a pull-out bed, hot plate for cooking, and a gorgeous shower. We were grateful for the A/C on the hot and humid days. We would recommend to anyone!
Sarah2016-08-31T00:00:00ZKaren and Craig are amazing hosts! They were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The studio was comfortable, clean, and air conditioned (I'm surprised how many places I've stayed in Hawaii without a/c!) and included everything I needed, including a coffee pot with coffee, glasses and cutlery, beach towels, and tiny size hotel shampoos. This was the most professional, hotel-like stay I've ever had through an Airbnb.
Lindsey2016-06-28T00:00:00ZThis little cute Airbnb is perfect for avid explorers. Located in central Maui, you're 30 min away from Hana and Lahaina. Karen is super helpful as well and very accommodating. Definitely would recommend her to anyone looking to stay in Maui. Perfect for 2 people not looking to pay those outrageous and over the top resort prices. Thanks Karen!
Kevin2016-09-10T00:00:00ZThe place was very nice! They had just put in a brand new queen bed which was very comfortable to sleep on! The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was really nice! Although there was no kitchen they had a microwave, coffee maker, and a refrigerator to store food. Waking up in the morning and seeing the mountain was very nice. Karen and Craig provided everything that we needed during our stay and would definitely return again!
Shaun2017-01-16T00:00:00ZKaren was an amazing host. She and her husband are the most genuine people I've ever met. They did not fail to make me apart of their Ohana. The room was spectacular and the view every morning was peaceful and at night it was even better with the stars . I can't wait to go back and I sure hope I'll be able to get the chance to stay there again!
Falisha2016-07-13T00:00:00ZSUPER NICE airbnb rental. You can park free right in front of the house. Apartment has its own entrance from the backyard. Room is nice and air conditioned. In the main room there is a TV, Fridge, Microwave, silverware and plates, a Table and the bed. Also there is a storage room and a super nice bathroom. Everything looks like new and is super clean!

Mike2017-05-01T00:00:00ZMaui Retreat is Maui's hidden gem! It's located deep inside of Maui & it has a beautiful view! The host were amazing and they even have Yoga at the retreat! If you want to see a peaceful side of Maui, go to Maui Retreat, you won't regret it!
Manny 2017-04-18T00:00:00ZNice quite out of the way place
Rick2017-03-28T00:00:00ZThis is completely different than the typical Maui tourist experience in a big concrete building. Kutira and Raphael's place is in beautiful grounds, with hiking to a waterfall and the ocean. Yoga every morning, plus other spiritual/somatic workshops. The other guests were friendly and interesting. Plus the decor is a smorgasbord of global spirituality. And it's near everything on the island. Highly recommend.
Jessica2017-03-22T00:00:00ZA wonderful place away from noise and bustle, equipped with lovely details. Everything is well organized and clean. If you are looking for a place that is in harmony with nature and the environment, it's here. Raphael is a fine manifests and attentive host, the young staff friendly and cheerful. There is a good atmosphere in the house. Bring mosquito protection! The approach can also be made without 4Rad drive, as mentioned in the descriptions. Of course, on its own responsibility. I would say that the paved road is in worse shape than the "Dirtroad". Mahalo Ruth
Ruth 2017-03-07T00:00:00ZWe reccomend this place to all, who is interested in special spiritual atmosphere silent place to stay. Easy to find, hard to leave place

We had a blast staying at Robert's place. My 5year old daughter loved the pool, the view, the beach equipment. The location was central and easy to get anywhere, the harbor had some decent food, the people at the condo were friendly and the place was just amazing.
Andrew2017-05-10T00:00:00ZCentrally located and right on a gorgeous beach next to the Maalaea boat harbor. We took the 4 Winds snorkel to Molikini from that harbor. Breakfast is great at Beach Bum's along the harbor and within walking distance.
Jeanene2017-04-27T00:00:00ZAbsolutely gorgeous view!! This is a wonderful space close to shops and dining. The location is perfect, super close to multiple beaches with excellent snorkelling. Robert is awesome and gave us great recommendations and was always quick to respond to emails. The locals in this area are very friendly and super helpful. Truly a piece of paradise!
Rachel2017-04-20T00:00:00ZIncredibly comfortable, super well stocked, nicely decorated condo. Convenient access to all other parts of the island. Enjoyed ourselves immensely. We made use of umbrella, snorkel gear, coolers, towels, boogie boards, beach chairs. We will definitely be back!
Dirk2017-04-09T00:00:00ZIt's a fantastic condo. Well furnished and stocked with all you need. Feels like you're spending a few days at a friend's beach house. The location is an easy drive to most city centers. Everything is quite close on the island anyways. It's quiet and low key, and right next to the harbor, so if you're catching a cruise you just walk to it. Maalea harbor is one of the most windy in the world, I love it as the night wind cools everything down a bit.
Nuno2017-04-02T00:00:00ZWe highly recommend this condo! Robert was great to deal with, very considerate and helpful!
Cari2017-03-30T00:00:00ZMy husband and I chose Robert's place to stay for three nights, as we wrapped up our amazing ten day annual holiday to Maui. Our overall experience here was a great one! Before our arrival Robert sent very detailed instructions including where to park, how to enter security codes, and access keys. He also opened himself up to freely contact him with any questions or help we may need, at any time. There's also a local contact in case of emergency. This all was extremely helpful info to have, especially considering the condo we rented for the first part of our trip ended up flooding from a roof leak, and the large condo complex, with onsite staff, was not prepared to handle it. When we entered Robert's home, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was, clean, great decor. Robert's home is well stocked with everything we needed (and more!) for a fun Maui trip. Full kitchen, lots of cookware and dishes, including spices, condiments, etc. Nicely decorated cozy front room with a great entertainment center. Bedroom has a king size bed, lots of extra linens. Places to hang your clothing and empty nightstands to store your essentials. Bathroom is well equipped - with extras such as curling irons, hair dryers. Even though we didn't use them .. te best parts were that there were plenty of supplies for beach time! From beach towels, ice chests, plastic dishes to a big supply of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas and sand & water toys. We also loved the views from the lanai! The view was the selling point for me and it paid off nicely. Although we were at the beginning of whale season, it was still so fun to be able to see them right from the lanai! Also - the harbor for some of the whale/snorkeling tours is literally right next door. We went on two different Pride of Maui tours and had a fantastic, different experience each time! I hope this review is helpful. :)
Rebecca2017-01-09T00:00:00ZRobert was a great host. Followed up upon arrival and also upon check out. Perfect host. His place had a great view of the bay. We saw whales from the lanai while having coffee on our first morning!! Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Place is clean and feels like home. Locals are freiendly and the condo is centrally located for ease of access to , well, everything. You can't go wrong with Robert's Place.

Karen's cottage was perfect for our stay on Lana'i. Home is as pictured and Karen was great with communication both before and during our stay. She was very accommodating, allowing us to check out late as our flight was later in the day. Will definitely stay with her again next time!
Candace2017-05-12T00:00:00ZKaren's cottage exceeding my expectations. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed for our yearly hunting trip. Karen was great at communicating with me. She was available when I called over the phone to ask questions. Of course, this being the first time I used AirBnB I was a bit hesitant that it was a scam but she definitely put me at ease. I originally had plans to stay at another location but they canceled at the last minute and I had to scramble to find another place to stay. I consider myself lucky that Karen's cottage was available. She touched bases with me a few days before we arrived to give us directions and let us know how to check in. She gave us fresh eggs during our stay, with was very nice since it's a small island and only have one grocery store. When we were leaving the island I had an issue at the airport because they were requiring a more secure lock on my luggage and when I called Karen to see if she had one, she went above and beyond to find one. I would definitely encourage future guests to book her cottage if they plan on visiting Lanai, they won't be disappointed. It's within walking distance to the town and just an overall great place to stay.
Dennis 2017-05-07T00:00:00ZWe only were here for one night before our event at Four Seasons. I wish we would have had at least another day. It may not be a resort, but we loved everything about the locals! Such a peaceful, happy place! Karen was very accommodating from the time we booked. Highly recommend!
Karen 2017-04-24T00:00:00ZKaren's place is very centrally located. She is a very helpful host and has chairs and a cooler for beach visits. Karen's place is very clean.
Charles2017-04-21T00:00:00ZThis was our 4th stay at the cottage in 2 years, that's how awesome hosts Karen and Martin's Plantation Cottage on the Hill is!! They are professional, pleasant, have great communication, and always make us feel comfortable and welcomed from the day we book our stay. The cottage is always clean and the full size kitchen well equipped. If we can't get the cottage, we'll reschedule our trip until we can!!
Herbette2017-04-18T00:00:00ZKaren was very nice and responsible person. The place was very nice and clean. You will have nice private space with good size living room, bed room, and small kitchen for your own. I was not sure about transportation within the Lanai island, but Karen referred us to pick up services and bike rentals. It is bit of a walk from the Lanai city, about 10-15 min. It was okay considered the price she offered. Overall, we were very satisfied our stay at this lovely cottage. Highly recommend!
Mami2017-04-12T00:00:00ZKaren's place was nice and quiet and a 10 minute walk from Hotel Lanai. Make sure you have printouts or a map of where it is prior to landing on Lanai as reception is spotty.
Licong2017-04-10T00:00:00ZVery clean, nice and quite. Perfect location and the owner was very nice and helpful.

Tom's place is great.... Nice condo with great view to the ocean... But you should be aware that it is really, really quite - which I liked very much! ;-) The condo is clean, nice furnished, the kitchen offers everything I needed and the bed was comfortable... I had a lot of sleep and enjoyed it being lazy... Before you get out there, go to town to buy some groceries... You definitely need a car to get out there... Although I didn't need the car so often cause I was so lazy ;-)... Tom's condo is a great place to be. I liked it very much and love to come back some day. Mahalo
Nicole2017-05-09T00:00:00ZI would highly recommend this place if you're looking to escape the city life. It is affordable but doesn't skip on the amenities: well equipped and it has a great bed if you love sleeping on a "cloud," I would imagine a cloud would feel like that bed! Great beaches nearby with close to no one on them. We had trouble with our phone service (t-mobile) when we were in the studio but we didn't mind it at all. There is a wifi connection under "Kepuhi," you will find the signal is strongest near the bed and patio. It's a quiet community, quiet hours from 10pm-8pm. There is a security guard constantly going around the grounds which made me feel safe but I don't think you will have anything to worry about since it is the "friendly isle" as we saw the locals leave their cars unlocked with their windows rolled down in town. The location is about 30 minutes away (19.5) from the main town, Kaunakakai. But there is another town called Kualapu'u (20 min away, 12 miles) which has a tiny grocery store and a great restaurant called Kualapu’u Cookhouse (480 Uwao St, Kualapuu, HI 96757). The portions are huge and there is a coffee shop next door as well. It is also a 5 minute drive to Maunaloa town where there is a small market open daily to 5PM. This place was great. It came well equipped with kitchen supplies to eat and cook with. There is a stove and microwave but no oven. Basic staples (salt, pepper, oil, garlic paste, onion and many other seasonings) I bought a few of these things oh and there's wine for the next guests too. =) Speaking of that, it came well equipped with alcohol. There is also a cooler underneath the bathroom sink and ice pack in the fridge if need be and a community grill too! If you feel like staying in, there are dvds you could watch as well as cable tv or board/card games you could play. This place was clean overall but minor things could be clean like the patio rail and screens.
Kylene2017-04-30T00:00:00ZA great relaxing place! Morning walks to the beach. Watching the sun set. A great location for very much needed r&r! We cooked our own meals. A kitchen with utensils provided, stovetop, a microwave, fridge, freezer. AT&T service was weak but wifi provided helped. Tom's recommendations of a car rental and stopping by the local store for food was a great tip. A washer and dryer on site, it takes quarters. There's a small general store that's open everyday 9-5. We miss it already, 6 days wasn't long enough
Darcy2017-03-29T00:00:00ZToms condo was great, really clean, beautiful location, everything we need for cooking was supplied. This is a great location for couples wanting some relaxing vacation time. Very quite place with beautiful breathtaking scenery. Thanks Tom
Jeanine2017-03-17T00:00:00ZIf you are look to get away from the crowds and connect with true aloha spirit this is your place. Your host Tom is a great guy who is attentive and informative.
Todd2017-03-09T00:00:00ZIdeal place to unwind, take walks and relax either watching the sunset on your balcony in comfy lounge chairs or exploring the beach or having a swim in the pool. Great space, well kept surrounds with bbq, small grocery shop and paid laundry. Internet connection is weak and you need a car to explore the island (check availability rental cars before you book flights) or use the shuttle bus that visits 3x per day. Best to cook at the studio as no close by restaurants. Magnificent spectacle of high surf bashing against the cliffs (not always safe to swim) or the monk seals sunning on the beach! Molokai is a little gem. Recommended!
Marianne2017-02-23T00:00:00ZHello, the property is very large and the grounds are very well maintained. But you need definitely a car to explore the island! Everything was as described. The Internet was only occasionally available.

The flat is very nice with great views over the Pacific Ocean. We saw whales many times in the distance and turtles were playing and sleeping right in the front of the house. Everything is close by if you have a car, otherwise there is a small shop, some restaurants and the habour at the end of the road. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday with the enjoyment of Mauis nature. Thank you!
Valerie2015-03-07T00:00:00ZWe loved our stay here! The location is perfect for exploring South Maui. Since it is located on a dead end road it is quiet and we loved falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. The lanai is perfect for whale watching and dining. It is a short walk to a long undeveloped beach and Kealia Pond which has a great boardwalk where you can see wetland birds including the lovely Hawaiian stilt. We had everthing we needed to cook meals and appreciated the use of the beach chairs and boogie board. The ocean breeze was all we needed to keep comfortable. Cathy's communication was great and we appreciated her quick response to an issue we had with the ice maker. Mahalo!
Sarah2017-03-13T00:00:00ZOur review from last year (May 2016) still holds true. This place is so peaceful/quiet/safe/comfortable/perfect. We loved it so much we already came back! We did a lot of the things we couldn't squeeze in last time (Haleakala summit/hike into crater, Waihe'e Ridge Hike, more beaches, snorkeling, etc.) and repeated some of our favorites again (Fresh Kona coffee/ breakfast watching the sunrise every morning from lanai before starting our day, Mama's Fish House, driving the coastlines, etc). I can't express how important the central location of this unit is if you are like us and explore all parts of the island. The fact that you also get to be on the water with beautiful views from the lanai every day is enormous value. The new keyless entry to the unit was a nice unanticipated convenience. I can't recommend it enough. Many extremely interested friends and family are anxious for their turn. I sure hope they get their chance to share in this gem/experience sooner than later. A million Mahalo's again for everything, Cathy! I have no doubt we will be back ourselves one day and hope it will still be available. This will forever be one of our favorite adventures & memories!
Dan2017-05-04T00:00:00ZThis was my first trip to Maui, and This place was perfect! The view is AMAZING and Cathy was very responsive and accommodating. It is centrally located so everything we wanted to do was easy to get to. I would absolutely stay here again.
Maureen2015-11-17T00:00:00ZHi Cathy, we really enjoyed staying at your location, it was clean, well kept, great view, was all as described in the listing. It was within walking distance to a few restaurants as well as Maui Ocean Centre and some decent beaches. Easy to get to & from the airport and to Walmart etc for groceries. Bbqs that were supplied with the complex were clean & easy to use. We hope we have an opportunity to visit Maui and your location again. Thanks, Virginia & Brian
Brian2016-01-24T00:00:00ZWe spent 9 days in Cathy's apartment. Apartment well located and very pleasant. We enjoyed its complete equipment (washing machine laundry and dishes, 2 beach chairs and always a parking space). We recommend this apartment. Dany and Yves
Yves2014-12-01T00:00:00ZCathy was very helpful and answered instantly. She even sent paper infos to my home adress to provide us with details about Maui. The place is well located directly on the beach as shown in the pictures. Perfect for one couple. The additional "bed" sofa in the living is not suitable for an adult and should only be proposed for one ore two kids.. Everything else is as expected. :-)
Ueli2014-07-27T00:00:00ZAbsolutely loved this apartment! The view from the lanai is amazing and the flat itself is large and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Nothing beats watching turtles while having breakfast in the sun :) The location of the apartment is great as well. No large hotels around, close to many nice beaches and other attractions on the island. Worst thing about the apartment was having to leave it. Highly recommended!

Cozy little place to match the cozy little island. We were very happy with our stay and would so be back.
Anita 2017-02-20T00:00:00ZSelina's place was perfect...we were just there for 1 night and Selina's check-in directions were very clear and easy to follow. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
Tony and Lindsay2016-05-23T00:00:00ZWhat a great 3 day 2 night trip. First of all, booking with Selina was easy and pain free. It was my first AirBnB. It was way cheaper than booking through the hotel but still had all the luxuries of the hotel. The bungalow was cute and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the mini fridge kept our drinks cold and the room is located in a nice area of the lot (on the corner of the lot so it doesn't look right into another bungalow). The hotel has a good restaurant and they had live music almost every night we were there. There is a little beach to walk at the hotel which was nice in the morning. The hotel is located just out of town... although all of Molokai is not very busy anywhere but it was nice to be just out of town. There are nice little beaches and stops just a little further out of town as well. Molokai itself is amazing and if you can get over there... You should. It is what I thought all of Hawaii would be like. It is what everyone's imagination of Hawaii is. It really is a dream come true. I found everyone to be friendly and wave as we drove by. We had good conversation with some locals and really enjoyed the Aloha Spirit Molokai has.
Mara2016-03-13T00:00:00ZNice enough resort, but a lack of basics was a shame. Was described as the perks of a hotel but without the hotel price. No coffee, no soap, shampoo etc There are a few plates and cups but no washing up liquid or towels to dry them. There was a terrible septic tank smell the first night and it lingered for our 4 day stay. Molokai is very basic and the food choices are limited, greasy and of questionable quality and with no kitchen you have no choice but to eat out. There is no choice but to be a early riser as the local population of chickens crow from about 5.00am!! and handy men brushing, spraying and knocking about at 6.45am. On the plus side there were beach towels and the staff in the bar were friendly, 3 - 5 happy hour except Friday. and music some days.
Justin2017-02-26T00:00:00ZHost was very quick to reply to all inquiries and messages. Room was neat and clean with fresh bath and beach towels. Loved the spa and aromatherapy shampoo/conditioner/body wash! May have just been a weird one-off thing, but it was a little stinky outside our room near the adjacent property (smelled faintly of sewage and/or trash), but inside the room was no problem. No AC, but the fans were perfect.
Samantha2016-06-08T00:00:00ZI had a great stay at Selina's condo. It is located in the main town on Molokai and easy access to the airport, beaches, hiking, and restaurants. The room was comfortable and was exactly as advertised. I definitely enjoyed being able to come back each evening to a cozy bed and warm shower!
Sarah2016-07-10T00:00:00ZSelina was very helpful and responsive.
Will2016-03-26T00:00:00ZWe had a great time on Molokai. The unit was clean and comfortable. Great location. And restaurant on property right next to the water. The view was better than the food, but it's a really good view! Highly recommend.
