  • Terribly lovely

    Dani2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The riad is really nice decor, everything is perfect with Europe standard and super clean compare to other services in Marrakech. We was not able to meet the host, only worked with his staff, Hassan. Soundproofing system, however, is not really good. Stay in ground floor (public space) you could listen clearly what others are saying in their room. It wasn't a problem for us but you should be careful to do something noisy in your private time :D The address is really difficult to reach. That's why the host offered us to pick up free. Without pickup service, its mostly impossible to find the riad. We had to wait 40 minutes after contacting Mario about our arrivals, under 40 degree weather in main square to wait for host's staff, Hassan. I was really disappointed because there were too many traps in Marrakech and guessed this might another one. But finally, Hassan came very lately. I think i should to share this experience and be strong if you would be unluckily ...

  • Excellent! Wonderful! I had a not-so-great experience at the first Riad I chose in Marrakesh, and opted to move to this one after my overnight tour to Zagora. I found the place without much difficulty using the excellent map Matteo provided, and was pleased to find a calm, clean sanctuary just steps away from the bustle of the medina. The bed was excellent, the bathroom was spotless, the small touches (nice soaps, good towels, dried flower petals strewn about) were much appreciated, and the breakfast was great. Would recommend 100%

  • The room is wonderful, the bathroom is wonderful, the guys are very friendly and helpful! Everything was perfect except for the weather they didn't manage to change it

  • Very welcoming host, gave us all the information we needed. It was a lovely atmosphere.

  • Very nice riad. We decide to find by ourself, and it was pretty hard but thank to the help of other tourists we found the place. The room was clean, very calm, and the breakfast was gorgeous on the rooftop of the riad. Very good experience.

  • Matteo is a great host, easy to reach, pleasant to speak to, and professional. He was very helpful and answered any of my concerns. The place is perfect if you want to be beside the square. Highly recommend

  • This riad is a gem, and everyone there is super-nice! Everything was perfect: the room, the food and the atmosphere. We would love to come back and we warmly recommend Francesca's place.

  • We loved spending a week with Francesca, Fahd, Aslaug, and the rest of the staff! Thank you for the hospitality.

  • Everything about the riad exceeded my expectations. It conserves the true historic beauty of a classic moroccan home in a posh and gorgeous way. Gives you the feeling of living arabian nights tales. Concerning the location, it lays 5-10 minutes to the jema-el-fna market, in the heart of the medina. Cars are allowed just on a small portion of the medina, so walking to, from and around the riad is mandatory, but in my opinion, walking and gazing through the narrow streets is the main attraction of Marrakech. Francesca, the manager, and the rest of the staff is extremely helpful an everything was on point, concerning our airport transfer, scheduled breakfast and dinners (best food in Marrakech) and even scheduling our Sahara & Atlas trip. I’m a volatile person and like to try new places every time, but I would really consider coming back to this riad or recommend it.

  • A hidden gem. Location is perfect on the edge of the busy markets but still very much central and close to main attractions. The space inside is just magical — peaceful, tasteful, and very relaxing. I didn’t see pictures of rooms ahead of time — but they are lovingly decorated, spacious and clean. Also, I cannot say enough about Francesca, the chef and all of the staff — very warm, attentive and professional. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

  • My boyfriend and I had a nice stay at Francesca's! Pros: - Host was extremely responsive and helpful, coordinating taxis and the like - Good location in the Medina, with a lovely roof terrace - Adorable puppy on site - Very safe and comfortable Cons: - Shower didn't drain - Wifi was not reliable - Not much light (natural or otherwise) in the room - Moderately expensive

  • The Riad is wonderful, we can also highly recommend the SPA incl. massage. We enjoyed a great time there and felt like at home. The food (breakfast & dinner) is excellent and home-made. Francesca and her whole team was very friendly and helpful - THANK YOU VERY MUCH :-)

    Birgit2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was to PERFECTION during our stay in the Riad. The place is very beautiful and well set-up. Everything was Aplus starting from the welcome with morrocan tea and assortments. Francesca gave us a very clear and detailed orientation around the area and was very patient pointing us to the right directions. All the crew, especially Fahad, is very very nice and accommodating! Breakfast was prepared on time and just the way we like it. The property itself is perfect. The extra person guarding outside the riad at night makes you feel very safe. Very clean, very cozy and homy to us. Thanks you Francesca for everything!

  • Francescas place is just awesome! Clean, stylish, relaxing...there is everything you need! The breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. Francesca is really nice and very helpful with everything. I am already looking forward to stay there again some time. I defenetely recommend staying there.

  • Very tranquil riad with sweet staff & well located. Houda the manager is lovely & helpful. Very comfortable beds & delicious breakfasts. We had a dinner there one evening which was really tasty & (Website hidden by Airbnb) welcome to us vegetarians after 10 days of vegetable tagines.

  • In my opinion this is the nicest Riad in Marrakesh. I can't recommend the place enough. The Riad is a luxurious place to stay but has retained authenticity. It is beautifully decorated inside, retaining many original features and is decorated using the best Moroccan design and craftsmanship. I had the honour of staying in two different rooms in this Riad during my week in Morocco (I broke my stay with an Atlas Sahara trip for a few days). Both were beautifully presented and cleaned to a high standard. The Menzah suite has an incredible original carved and painted ornate ceiling. The Marrakesh suite is decked out in red satin with a beautiful en suite including a double shower, big marble sink and huge mirror with ornate lighting. The ensuites were supplied with luxurious toiletries. I loved the orange blossom body wash. I cannot fault the service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Francesca the Riad manager is the perfect host. I have a poor sense of direction (and a solo traveller) and it isn't possible to drive a car into the medina. I was so grateful to Francesca for taking the time to meet me personally from the taxi. Her staff were friendly and efficient and treated me like royalty. I'd also recommend the spa treatments. I arrived feeling burnt out and exhausted and felt revitalised with glowing skin within 24 hours of having a hammam and massage here. The therapists are top knotch. I'd also recommend eating here. In contrast to many places in the old town, the kitchen is clean and the food freshly prepared. The chef will make traditional Moroccan food to order, with advance notice. I'd recommend the Moroccan salad (great for vegetarians like me). The breakfasts here are good too, although I never managed to finish any of the meals here as the portions were so generous. A huge thank you to Francesca and the staff. I hope I can come back again soon!

  • Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay. Not just after a really exhausting trip but also after walking around in medina, entering this beautiful place felt just like haven. It really is an oasis within medina. A little outside of the buzzing feeling from the souks but still in the center of medina. Everything is within a couple of minutes walking distance. If you feel like a little accommodation which is clean, very comfortable with the best breakfast and be run by a wonderful and friendly Italien woman, than you should really come stay at Riad Les Ammonites. I recommend you should eat dinner at the riad, at least once. You will get the best quality and service.

    Lisanne2017-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was everything we wanted from our time in Marrakech and more. It is a calm oasis from the busy Souks and Squares just 5 mins walk from the riad. Inside the riad is very beautiful and the pool is a necessity in the heat! All of the staff were very welcoming and willing to go the extra mile especially Francesca. We had a hammam in the spa which was a very authentic and enjoyable experience. We would highly recommend this place!!!

    Charley2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Houda is the best host who I've ever met. She talk each guest at the breakfast and let us know the information about the town. This Riad is in the central in the town. You can go to the big market for 10 minutes and there are a lot of shops. The breakfast was a really good and we like Moroccan mint tea. We get a Moroccan spa in Riad. It was really nice. Also we made a reservation for dinner there. I'd like to come back to this Riad again. Thanks a lot Houda:)

  • The Riad was the perfect romantic getaway. The building itself is beautiful and a very peaceful oasis away from the bustling markets! We would definitely recommend staying here. The breakfasts were also a great start to the day!

  • Alice was so warm and inviting even from our first messages on Airbnb. She arranged for a ride from the airport and guided us throughout our time in Marrakesh - from restaurant recommendations to offline map applications. She seemed able to anticipate hurdles we'd encounter beforehand and provided the tools to avoid them. The team at the riad is wonderful as well - so helpful, fun and friendly; Abraham, Ottoman, the ladies and Bowie (the cat :)) all were fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The riad is exquisite and perfectly decorated every detail feels thought out and fashionable yet classic. The sights, sounds, scents, and experiences as we explored the medina and made our way to various places were amazing, but very new to us; often we came back in need of rest and mental renewal in a way I haven't experienced in other places. The oasis that Riad Yasmine provides with it's beautiful design but especially the beautiful personalities inside make it a perfect place and made our trip absolutely wonderful.

  • World class hospitality and the most beautiful spot to relax. Went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. This place is incredible in every way.

  • This Riad is such a wonderful place to stay. Alice and Gabriel and the people working at the ryad were so welcoming and made us feel very much at home. It is within walking distance of the markets and many amazing restaurants. The pool is lovely and it is such a serene atmosphere within the riad. We will def go back if we come to marrakech again!!

    Amy2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I fell in love with every aspect of this charming Riad. We loved the hospitable welcome, the well appointed room, and famous pool. If you're considering a trip to Marrakech, this is without a doubt the best accommodation option and a great value for the price. The hosts are helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best lodging experiences that we have had across 4 continents.

  • Alice is the best host ever! Super nice and beautiful place to relax in Marrakech.

  • Riad Yasmine is one of the most beautiful air bnb/accommodations I have ever stayed in. It is so peaceful and tranquil in the middle of the Médina and everyone was very helpful and kind during our stay. The rooms were bigger then we imagined and the service was lovely. We would definitely come back!

The riad is located in the medina in Marrakech, Marrakech Tensift El Haouz, Morocco. The medina of Marrakech constitutes the nerve center and the historical heart of the city of Marrakech. Extending over an area of 600 hectares, it is one of the largest medinas in Morocco and the most populated in North Africa. Its refinement and urban specificity derive directly from the total virginity of the land on which it was erected in the 11th century. Articulated around a military camp, the Qsar El Hajar, and a market, it was increased by a Kasbah in the 12th century to protect it from the repeated assaults of the Berber tribes of the Haouz plain, thus helping to sustainably establish Almoravid hegemony. The famous ramparts of the old city of Marrakech underwent important modifications according to the dynasties. Thus, they were repeatedly pierced with new doors (Bab in Arabic). Today, the height of the walls oscillates between 8 and 10 meters and they extend over a total distance exceeding 19 kilometers. The medina has been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1985.
  • Hey! Thank you SO MUCH for such an amazing welcome at your beautiful Riad. Your place is stunning and I felt contented throughout my stay. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, hospitable and helpful. I met many people throughout my stay in Marrakech and I have recommended El Faris to many, even swapping numbers with people in order to pass on the details of El Faris to those who were highly interested! I loved my room and the decor was stunning. I very much appreciated the attention to detail regarding the cleanliness of the room such as daily bed making, cleaning of the bathroom, fresh, clean towels and robe. The bed was extremely comfortable and of an evening I sunk into it and of a morning I felt it was hard to get out of! The choice at breakfast was delicious and the service was second to none. In fact, my breakfast offering seemed to grow larger day by day. Oh, I forgot to say, upon arrival I was also given a fresh flannel to wipe down with, spit of fresh mint tea and a selection of skewered fruits. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the BEST introduction to beautiful Marrakech. I shall be returning for sure.

    Heidi2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • The place is as palacial as advertised and is even more impressive in person. Combine that with great service and hospitality and you have an ideal riad to stay in. Only gripe I had was the doorbell, went off several times at 2am which was loud enough to mistake for a fire alarm. With myself sleeping on the ground floor I was woken up by the sound of it. This could be easily fixed, as annoyed as I was - I'd certainly recommend the place and stay there again since the place is amazing in both design and service.

    Ian2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful Riad renovated and furnished with excellent taste. The staff and the owners are very professional, helpful and friendly. The breakfast with the homemade yoghurt on the sunny rooftop is a dream ! Don't be afraid about the walking distance to Djemaa el Fna; you will enjoy this small walk trough the Medina aside the busy and touristy Souks. We highly recommend this Riad and if we have the pleasure to revisit Marrakech in future we would choose Olivier's place again !

    Olivia2018-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Olivier and Nun were incredible hosts. They were so nice and welcoming as well as informative. The team of people who worked at the riad including Mohammed and Kamel were so helpful and friendly as well. Everyone was always smiling and ready to assist us with whatever we needed. The riad it’s self was so beautiful and such a nice respite from the excitement of the streets and market. It’s a little off the beaten path but easy enough to get anywhere on foot once you get the hang of things. Also, the riad was very helpful in calling cabs for us when needed! Breakfast every morning was such a treat and the couple of times we opted for dinner we had some of the best food of our trip! We often had our meals on the roof which was also such a peaceful and relaxing experience. If I’m ever back in Marrakesh, and I hope I am, I would love to come back and stay here again! Thank you everyone so much for the terrific stay!

    Catherine2018-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Riad El-Faris is a beautiful and cozy riad, you can't go wrong. Also the staff is absolutely amazing, they were so kind and helpful. I'm glad I was able to call this place home for a few days, I will definitely be coming back.

    Bryant2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay in Marrakesh in the El Faris Riad. It was better that we have expected. The people who are working in the riad were wonderfully kind and helpful. The hospitality was amazing! We’re definitely recommending staying at this Riad and will come back in the future for sure.

    Sara2018-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Super beautyfull riad. We had a nice room downstairs. Comfortabel bed. The riad is a 15 minute walk to the souks. That didn't bother us, it is a nice stroll through the area and you van see the real lifestyle of the people. The staff is super friendly. They made our stay comfortabel. They serve a yummy breakfast in the roofterrace.

    Lotte2018-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We came to this riad at the end of the our Morocco trip, and it was by far the best riad we have stayed at. The moment we walked into the door, we were greeted so warmly and made to feel very welcome. This was especially nice since I had was still recovering from being sick. Olivier knows a lot about the medina and gave us some really good tips. It's not close to Djeema El Fna (main square) but situated in a nice, more authentic moroccan neighbourhood, where people on the street aren't trying to sell you something. To get to the square will take about 25-30mins to walk...if you don't get lost. There is lots to love about this riad with lots of personal touches to the rooms and central space. The terrasse is lovely and the first floor with the spa and seating area is a peaceful way to relax and settle in. Our room opened onto the central area of the first floor but when the doors were closed it felt private. I'm only sorry we didn't spend more time here.

  • We had an amazing time at Riad Trois Palmiers. We were so well looked after by all the staff who went out of their way to make my friend and I feel welcome. Our room was perfect - so clean and stylish yet traditional. Everyone was so friendly, thoughtful and polite and we felt very much at home from the moment we walked in. The Riad is well designed by Caroline and Patrick - every detail has been thought of - from the stunning roof terrace with panoramic views, to the chill out sofa areas, to the mint tea and treats to calm you when you come back from a hectic day of haggling! Also the location is brilliant, in amongst the souks making it very easy to dip in and out of the hecticness! Will recommend to anyone I know visiting Marrakech. Thank you all!!!

  • This was my first time in Morocco and I must say I couldn't have stayed at a better place. It's a beautiful Riad that makes you feel like back in the day and the staff is very attentive. They helped us with telling us was was nice to see and do and we felt like stars. It's very close to everything and feels very safe. Would definitely rebook here again.

  • The place was excellent. Great location and they even cleaned our clothes for a small fee. The workers were fantastic and it was a great place to stay!

    Rissa2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our 4 day stay at Riad Les Trois Palmiers was simply marvellous! Patrick made us feel right at home and the friendly staff was very helpful and always at our service. We enjoyed a splendid dinner at the riad on our first night, filled our bellies every morning with a royal breakfast and relaxed during a rooftop apéro in the afternoon. Our room was spacious, clean and basically had everything we needed. Patrick provided us with some great tips for dinner and a fabulous hammam in Marrakech and made sure we were picked up and brought back to the airport on time. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and we'd go back in a heartbeat!

  • Me and a friend stayed at this riad for 2 nights and it was absolutely perfect. It's in a very central location, close to the main square. A little hard to find at first, but the staff was very accommodating and helped us find the location right away. Very clean, plenty of space, and very nice terrace to view the city. I would highly recommend this riad for those exploring the beautiful city of Marrakech!

    Katherine2016-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely Riad (small hotel) in the Medina. V friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Great rooms - just like the photos. The Riad is down a series of laneways so definitely get a pickup by the Riad from the airport. A security guard is there to take you back at night, but we never felt unsafe or got hassled by locals. Huge breakfast each day before heading into the mayhem of the Souk and the inevitable sense of being hopelessly lost! Part of the fun. We went into the Atlas Mountains with Ali, the Riad's driver for the Three Valleys tour which was a real highlight. Loved Cafe Arabe around the corner for dinner. • Pat and Caroline were the best hosts I could have hoped for during my time in Marrakech. They were awesome about check in/out times (I landed early at 10:40am and left late at 5:30pm) and my sister and I never felt rushed or hassled or like we were bothering them. The WHOLE STAFF at Trois is super attentive (but not overly so)... one of the ladies knew we always left early and would miss the complimentary breakfast so she would bring us Morrocan mint tea and cookies to our rooms when we came back from our early excursions (I feel terrible but I never got her name). Halid (spelling?) drew us a map that worked better than any we found on (Hidden by Airbnb) maps/printed map. Pat says they've never lost a guest with this hand drawn map, and it was true even for someone as directionally challenged as I am! First impressions: The riad as a whole was a peaceful and quiet oasis in a lively and loud of Marrakech. My sister and I developed a nice routine where we were out the door by 7:30/8am, returned by 2pm for a nap during the hotter part of the day, then was out again around 5pm for the cooler evenings. The riad is truly a tranquil place for this kind of schedule. When we arrived Pat gave us a run down and tour of the riad and it's history. It was amazing to hear the story of how Pat and Caroline came to be in Marrakech and how the riad started. There are amazing pictures of the timeline of events for anyone who cares to see. You can see how each piece of furniture and all the details were lovingly picked out, and it truly shows in the hospitality of the riad and its staff. My sister and I shared the room on the top terrace (3rd floor), the stairs were not an issue as we are very active people. The rooms were situated with nice views of the medina and surrounding riads/buildings as well as the ability to catch a nice breeze on the roof. The whole riad (and rooms) were very clean and well maintained (the staff is CONSTANTLY CLEANING!). The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. There was an outlet nearby the bed, which I appreciate so I can charge my phone nearby. Wifi was slow at times, but there were like three different ones to connect to, so when one slowed down I just switched to the other and it was fine. Just don't expect to watch movies, haha. There were robes readily available and plenty of plush soft towels. My only complaint is the shower drain is very slow... but it wasn't a deal breaker and not enough of an issue for me to complain about. Pat and the team did everything they could to go above and beyond. My sister and I had leftover euros that Pat exchanged for us...

  • We had a wonderful stay! The hospitality was amazing, from delicious mint tea to the yummy breakfast - we loved it all. The riad was quiet and felt peaceful even with its closeness to the excitement of the medina. Everything is in walking distance, but takes some remembering to not get lost. We would definitely stay again!

Quiet and tranquil, this Touareg themed bedroom has a double bed or 2 single beds, ensuite shower room. The décor is tradition meets design. One extra person can be accommodated in the room by adding a comfortable mattress on the floor.
A beautiful, quiet room, the Sable room will remind you of the Sahara desert and the Touaregs. It features lovely curves and arches and a bathroom with shower in traditional tadelakt ( a traditional Moroccan plaster finish). The Sable room is one of 6 bedrooms surrounding a central open patio in a beautiful and peaceful riad. A riad is a traditional Moroccan house with trees and a fountain in a central courtyard. You will be amazed at the architectural white arches all around the patio, contrasting with the lush banana trees and cacti. Our riad has been renovated to offer great comfort amid stunning decor, a fusion of design and tradition. You will love relaxing in the jacuzzi-pool, the hammam, and on the roof terrace. We will welcome you with a mint tea and Moroccan pastries. Our driver is available to pick you up at the airport. Rachida, our in-house cook, prepares really good locally sourced fresh traditional Moroccan meals. All our rooms are air-conditioned / heated with free wi-fi.
Our riad is located in the Medina or old quarter of Marrakech, in a quiet pedestrian area but close to vibrant streets, filled with shops and workshops, all the way to the souks, palaces and the famous Djema El Fnaa square.
  • We loved our stay at the riad o2. The whole place was beautiful and peaceful. We especially loved the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Morocco and the friendly staff made it more of a pleasure. There was a slight mix up with beds on the first evening as we had booked for three but the room was only prepared for two. However this was dealt with by the next day. It was also easy to arrange airport pick ups and a day trip to the atlas mountains through the riad and we would recommend. We will come back here if we return to Morocco again!

  • Maria and Hugues were great to communicate with. They were very responsive to all questions and ensured that everything was ready when we arrived. Although we didn't meet them in person, Moad and Hashim were helpful. The pictures are accurate. The way to the riad has several turns, so please remember the directions well! Overall, good experience!

  • Fantastic riad, really enjoyed our 4 night stay there and were made to feel very welcome. Rooftop terrace was even nicer than pictured. Helpful and attentive staff, who arranged a taxi to and from the airport to make it effortless on our part, along with dinner on the first night which was a delicious chicken tajine. Good location, close to restaurants and shops.

  • I highly recommend Riad O2! Not only was the accommodation beautiful and well located in the heart of the Medina, the staff were extremely hospitable and attentive to all our needs. We will definitely be staying at Riad O2 next time we travel to Marrakech (which I hope will be very soon)!

The medina of Marrakech constitutes the nerve center and the historical heart of the city of Marrakech. Extending over an area of 600 hectares, it is one of the largest medinas in Morocco and the most populous in North Africa.
  • The location is great, right in the middle of the ‘action’. As soon as you enter the Riad you are instantly relaxed by the calming atmosphere, music, and kind and attentive staff. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was amazing. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

  • Stay here!!!! It was exactly as the pictures looked, very new and clean feeling, easy to find thanks to the picture directions they send you (extremely helpful after 2 weeks of trying to find hostels and riads using gps). Also, great hospitality! I arrived around 7:30-which is when they break fast for Ramadan and they still let me in and have me tea/ cookies while I waited a short time to check. They also went out of their way to help me print my boarding pass (required my Ryan air) and to escort me to another spa close by when their services were not available. Wish I could have stayed longer!!!

  • Christophe’s Riad is a beautiful place to stay in Marrakesh. It is in a perfect location and everything about it- the bedrooms, the breakfast, the pool - are really authentic and give a wonderful sense of a Moroccan Riad. One of the greatest strengths for me was the kind and accommodating staff. Even with a late check, everyone I met was always so welcoming. Their attention and care with speaking English and French to the guests, with offering maps and travel advice, with a cheery chat in the mornings before breakfast made this property so welcoming. I broke up my trip and stayed in a big hotel complex in Agadir- immediately missed the care and the atmosphere in Christophe’s property and couldn’t wait to come back! So happy to fully recommend and hope to go back sometime.

  • Great amazing! Beautiful place! Perfect location, really nice people!

    Nicole2018-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful riad! Close to attractions and the Médina. I was greeted with Moroccan tea and biscuits before being shown to my room. Christophe and Oliver were wonderful hosts, and the whole staff works to make your stay at the riad a relaxing spot away from the bustling souks. Would stay here again!

    Alexandria2018-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay. We arranged a ride from the airport and were greeted and walked to the riad even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Breakfast on the rooftop is beautiful, delicious, and the staff is very kind and comforting. Coffee, fresh orange juice, breads, and jams. Traditional. They are quick to help with a city map. We were searching later one night for a bottle of wine (very hard to find) and came back to the riad defeated when we asked a staff member and were pleasantly surprised with a bottle and a snack of olives on the rooftop. 24/7 staff available to help you. The best signal for wifi was on the roof but not great in our room. Christophe spoke great English and was kind. Small warning that we were not prepared for: the busy street you must take to get to the riad is at times very disturbing. It is full of local vendors selling fruit and meats and other goods but typically rotten with intense smell. It is full of rubbish and dead and live animals being butchered. It is a fairly quick walk through the street but maybe have a scarf to cover your nose to prevent gagging. Other than that, PERFECT PLACE TO STAY. We greatly enjoyed our long weekend.

    Hayley2018-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • spent 2 days in Christophe Riad. The place is really authentic and even better then the pictures. Piano jazz playing all the time, huge room with bathtub, free breakfast in the terrace (also perfectly decorated). Great place to stay as a couple. We will come back my friend

  • STAY HERE!! Fantastic riad, with a beautiful rooftop. The hosts are amazing, nothing is a problem. They offer laundry services, the room had a bath, the pool is right in the centre of the riad and also breakfast is included. If you want an unforgettable experience, stay here!

  • Nicole and Mohamed made me feel a part of the family from the first moment I arrived! I visited during Ramadan and on the first night they graciously invited me to a be a part of the fast breaking meal (or breakfast!) with all of their friends. It was a fantastic time! Beyond that Nicole was immensely helpful in showing me the best places to shop and look for product for my business and both Mohamed and Nicole were incredibly helpful in helping me find my way around. I would recommend this place to anyone! Tip: make sure you ask for breakfast in the mornings. I didn't know to ask and missed two days of the best breakfast ever!

  • The most beautiful place I've seen! It was such a nice stay - really amazing breakfast too! The hosts, Nic & Mo, were quick to respond and very helpful. Our warmest recommendations! Wish we'd had one more day there :)

  • I can't say enough positive things about BE Marrakech, and Nicole and Mo! They made our first time in Marrakech unforgettable! They offered airport pick up, which was great. Upon arriving at the Riad we were greeted with traditional tea and dates. Mo even walked out onto the street to meet us when the driver pulled up to help with our bags. They also provided us with a map of the city, taking time to mark points of interest and explain how to find our way back home (which can be an intimidating process). The Riad is so beautifully decorated, and the room was lovely. They even took care to place fresh flowers in our room. They also provided an incredible breakfast on the terrace. They were so kind and welcoming, and provided a wealth of information to us that allowed us to make the most of our stay. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Marrakech!

  • BE Marrakech has been the WORST experience, DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. I'm sure I will receive a cheesy reply saying BE humble, BE thoughtful, BE patient which is all a huge smoke show. This place is exactly what it looks like in photos and if you only care about taking a photo than feel free to stay here. I will preface this by saying I was a backpacker for many years and I have never experienced something as terrible as this, I am not a luxury traveller. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and stayed at various other Riads during our stay this place would get a 1 out of 10 and the 1 is simply becuase it "looks beautiful" The Pool - Merky, disgusting, cloudy water that looks like it hasn't been changed in years The floors & all surfaced - covered and dirt and grime, you almost don't want to touch anything The bed - We got BEDBUGS during my honeymoon that ruined the rest of my trip. Also received two small twin bed put together to make a king. The Food - We only had lunch here. The worst meal we had in Morocco by far, we love Tagine and this was filled with oil, terrible fatty meat, cold food, watery orange juice. Bathroom - stunk of chlorine, the towels smelled of chlorine too. In the age of social media, it's easy to get caught up with a beautiful image. This place has become INSTAfamous and is really a place I urge anyone to never stay at. Stay somewhere else and come here to take a few photos. Is anyone has any further questions feel free to reach out to us via. DM.

    Carlo2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect riad with perfect hosts who are all at once omnipresent, infinitely welcoming and never intrusive. Decorated beautifully - surprisingly even more stunning than the photos. Great breakfasts with homemade jams and fresh bread and a perfect location to stay in Marrakech away from the main drag but not far from the heart of the city.

Riad Bab Doukkala is situated only a few metres from Bab Doukkala mosque, and the main souk - the huge dedalous of paths and alleyways made of traditional shops, artisans, blacksmiths, artists and more - the pounding heart of the medina. The main square Jemaa El Fna can be reached in less than 10 minutes, and other important attractions such as the Medersa Ben Youssef, the Koutoubia or the Saadian Tombs are all walking distance. The neighbourhood has authentic shops, restaurants and caffés.
This accomodation is a genuine immersion in the Moroccan way of living, as you will be provided a room in a traditional style riad. The riad - a construction with a patio with rooms overlooking it - is still the standard accomodation for people of all walks of life in this country. It gives the opportunity to enjoy a shelterd room, and at the same time the breeze and and open areas of the patio and terrace. The private bathrooms in the rooms are built with Tadelakt, an endemic kind of argyl used to build in here in Morocco, and have large showers. Finally, we are happy to provide advice and point you in the right direction to all attractions and points of historical interest.
Riad Marrakech is right off the mosque of Bab Doukkala on Arset Aouzal, leading to the main intersection of Dar El Bacha. From there it is only a few metres till you are inside the souk - the huge dedalous of paths and alleyways full of traditional shops, artisans, blacksmiths, artists and much more - the pulsating heart of Marrakech. You can walk to the Jemaa El-Fna, the world famous square, in less than 10 minutes via the souk. Other points of major interest such as the Koutobia mosque, the Medersa Ben Youssef , Palace Badia and the Saadina tombs are all reachable by foot or via a short taxi ride. You can also head oppostie Dar El Bacha and the souk, and you will find yourself in a large market road with fresh meat, fish, vegetables and much more, as well as other local shops. Ideal to shop if you decide to spend an evening or more at home. If you keep going you will get to the intersection of Bab Doukkala, and then the newtown, with all its modern bars and cafés.
  • Marco is a super friendly host with an abundance of useful tipps to get you started on your adventures in and arround Marrakech. He's always eager to help and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Riad, while nothing overly fancy is located just a few minutes from the Souk at a perfekt spot to start roaming around by foot and right near a Traffic-point if you ever need to get around via Taxi. We had a wonderful time at Marco's Riad and can sincerely recommend his place! If visiting during winter months I would advise bringing long pajamas, as it can get quite chilly during nighttime.

    Yannic2018-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • When staying at Marco's riad, you receive more than just a comfortable room in a super convenient location. You also receive an insider's guide to the streets and culture of Marrakech. Marco was more than willing to go out of his way to show me the best places to eat as well as assisting me in negotiating prices and shopping in the souks. He truly went above and beyond for me to have the best experience in Marrakech. This riad is a must stay for anyone looking for an authentic Moroccan experience. Not to be missed!

  • Marco was for sure one of the best hosts we've ever had! Not only did he give us amazing advice about Marrakech, but he also went out with us to grab a bite or helped us out in any situation. Marco made our Marrakech visit perfect. The building and rooms are nice and clean. We got everything we needed. The Riad is very easy to find and in a local part of the Medina. From there it is super easy to get to all major sights and the souks. We will miss our chats with Marco. Thank you for everything!

  • Very smooth and easy check-in. Great location. The riad is about 10 mins walk to the medina but just right outside of the Medina so it's easy to find (as it's easy to get lost in the medina). Very responsive, helpful and friendly host. Marco sent a list of recommendations for the city and helped me book a desert tour (which is much cheaper to book in the city then online). Marco also shared a lot of tips and great recommendations from places to eat to hammams and even went with me and two other guests staying at the riad to eat dinner in Jemaa el-Fnaa square and on another evening took us to have mint tea with some locals that has a stand in the middle of Jemaa el-Fnaa. Overall amazing experience and a very hospitable host. I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you for the great experience Marco!

He gave us advice on things to do and see, while also helping us organise a 3 day trip to the desert! Would definitely recommend staying at his. He is always there willing to help and guide you.

    Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi, Morocco

Charming colourful room with 2 single beds, en-suite shower room and a balcony overlooking the central courtyard
Lovely bedroom with 2 separate single beds (not possible to put together) colorful cushions, a little balcony overlooking the patio, and an oriental bathroom with shower. There are 5 other bedrooms in the Riad, all very different in style and size. The riad, a traditional house built around an open patio with fountain and trees, is very peaceful. You can relax on the roof terrace on a sun-lounger or in one of the tents, in the jacuzzi/pool, or hammam. Moad, the 2 Rachidas and Hassan will welcome you warmly with a mint tea and local pastries and help you organise your stay in Marrakech.
Our Riad is centrally situated, in the Medina (old town), in a quiet area, but only 2 minutes from buzzing pedestrian streets, lined with exotic looking shops, traditional workshops and laid-back cafés, that lead you to the souks (10 min) and the famous Djemaa El Fna square (15 min).
  • The touem room in Riad O2 is a comfortable room and the riad itself is also quite nice--tastefully decorated in a comfortable, "traditionally" Moroccan riad style with a lovely rooftop terrace. Personally, we were not big fans of the location, as I usually stay closer within the souqs and to djemma el-fna square when I stay in Marrakech and was taking a gamble with a place further out. It was fine to get there from the mosque once you figure that out (and unfortunately no one at the riad answered when we arrived and called, as they indicated they would in earlier communication) but getting to the mosque was more difficult--it was not as easy as I had thought to get to it and from the souqs without a guide. On the day we did go to the square and souqs with a guide from the riad to show us the way, we had problems getting back and our guide did not show up--leaving us to go back alone at dusk, eventually with the help of a random guide who wanted a fair amount of money for his services (exactly what we'd hoped to avoid). If you have more time in Marrakech you'll have more time to learn but we were on a tight schedule, unfortunately, and didn't. You could also take a petit taxi from the mosque but of course that can add up (depending on your negotiation skills and how the taxi drivers are feeling that day!), especially if you planned on walking everywhere within the medina. We did not meet Marie or Hugues but they were communicative and helpful in our correspondence leading up to our stay. For the most part, the staff was helpful, the breakfast good, and the riad nice but some of the issues during our stay really took away from our enjoyment of our time in Morocco.

  • We had a wonderful (but too short) visit to Marrakech and this Riad was the perfect base to explore the old city from. It's beautiful courtyard where we were given mint tea on arrival and the roof terrace where we had breakfast every morning were the ideal places to relax. We were made to feel very welcome and given help to plan a day trip to the mountains with a friendly and informative guide. I couldn't recommend this place more highly! Am already thinking about when I can go back!

  • Very nice raid, very clean and the dinner is very good.

  • Riad 02 is a wonderful place indeed, an oasis inside the crazy medina's streets! We had the best food in town by the way! (Breakfast and dinner)

    Solido2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • This riad was lovely. We stayed for three nights, and truly enjoyed our breakfasts in the courtyard, our dinners on the terrace and the relaxing hammam and massage. Very peaceful enclave in an otherwise busy and intense city. The staff were fantastic and helpful.

  • I cannot recommend this riad highly enough. We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. THANK YOU ALL! I booked very last minute (the night before I arrived!) but the hosts responded to me right away by sending a very comprehensive confirmation e-mail and then following it up with a phone call (which was very efficient and helpful). Within an hour of booking I felt armed with all the information I would need for my arrival. We requested an airport pick up and as we were going to be arriving kind of late we decided to have dinner cooked for us at the riad. Although the flight was almost half an hour late the driver was ready and waiting for us with a sign and spent the short journey to the riad by telling us a history of the main attractions in Marrakech. He was very friendly and helpful then when we parked as far as you can drive he helped us with the bags and walked us to the riad. Although it's down a number of windy little back streets (as any decent riad in Marrakech is) he taught us the handy trick that you just take the first left and then alternate every left and right until you get to the riad. We didn't get lost even once. When we arrived I was taken aback by just how lovely the riad was. Although the photographs look amazing there's a lot that can be left between a good photograph and the real deal - this is not the case here. It is perhaps even more beautiful than the photographs and certainly more atmospheric. Dinner was absolutely fantastic. Probably the best I had in Marrakech (even though we ate at Le Jardin, Souk Kafe and Terrace des Epices) and we were surprised to also have the option of beer and wine as last time I was in Marrakech we found it nearly impossible to procure any alcohol. The room was just lovely - a good temperature (with a heater that we turned on a couple of times on the colder evenings) with a lovely little balcony overlooking the courtyard and a fabulous bathroom. The shower was just incredible. So hot and powerful. We were looking forward to using it every day and miss it now that we're home! The beds were large and comfortable (very hard but I like it like that) with nice good quality bedding. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We ate on the roof most days and it was glorious. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to just enjoy lounging around the riad as there are a number of comfortable spots to chill out. On the final day we hired the driver again to take us to the bahai palace before the airport and this was 30e. All of the staff we encountered during our stay were so helpful and friendly. You will not regret choosing Riad O2.

  • This was by far the nicest riad we stayed at in Morocco. Really lovely staff and beautiful decorations, plus the terrace is massive. The location is quite isolated and difficult to find but we made it work. The bed was also very uncomfortable.

  • We spent the first and the last few nights of our holidays in Riad O2 and it was just great. Like all the other comments: lovely/helpful people, nice food and a beautiful decor. A place where you want to stay!

Marrakech Medina , Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz, Morocco

Choose your room or rent the entire place at a discounted rate. RIAD ATMAN was completely renovated in 2008/9, preserving the original layout but blending a traditional Moroccan ambiance with a minimalist flavour, and also featuring objects collected by the Italian owner during her travels around the world. The riad has 4 double bedrooms, is fully air-conditioned and it is also heated in winter and has a lovely fireplace in the sitting area. Its convenient location in the area of Bab Doukkala in the old part of the city (Medina) which is a short walk from the famous Jemaa el Fna square but also 2 minutes from a taxi rank, allows the guest to choose between a walk through the souk or a comfortable ride by taxi, whereas most of the other riads in the Medina are only accessible through a 15 minutes walk in the souk, a pleasant experience at the beginning but not every evening when the guests are tired after a long day touring the city. The peaceful and cool courtyard which welcomes the visitors, makes a stark contrast with the noise and heat of the Medina's maze. Entering the riad is to experience a different world, leaving the chaos behind to be submerged in a serene oasis. The strongest point is its terrace where Jamila, the housekeeper and also a very valuable element (see the reviews of our previous guest about Jamila’s pampering on this site (check for reviews of the individual rooms: Sattva, Raja, Maya and Turiya) serves a delicious breakfast which includes freshly squeezed local oranges, a selection of teas, real expresso, homemade cakes and Moroccan fresh mint tea in the afternoon. Our rates are already reasonable and very good value for money but ask for a lastminute deal and at times you could get a real bargain!
  • Ory's riad is everything and more than posted on the website. It's location in the Medina is perfect for the market, the souks and the squares. It is close to the Bab Doukkala gate which meant easy access to the bus station and other places outside the medina. The housekeeper was wonderful, providing hospitality and she looked after us above and beyond expectations. A five star stay and highly recommended!

    Jan2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place was advertised as affordable luxury and it was definitely that the house was amazing and the terrace was beautiful. Jamila who hosted us was very helpful and welcoming, she lives in and has her own room downstairs so she is always on hand, if you need anything. There is is no parking outside but we found cheap secure parking close by. Just a 15 minute walk from the famous Souk, it’s surrounded by everything that is typical of Marrakech. We loved it.

    Ulk2018-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Ory wasn't there during my stay, but her housekeeper Jamilla was very helpful and nice. I had a choice of 2 rooms, one was more quiet, but the AC did not work, so I chose the one facing the road. It was quiet overnight, and the AC worked well. As it was 49C during the day, and the rooms on the second floor stayed quite warm even at night - this was a welcome relief. The bathroom is small, but cute - and the whole riad is tastefully decorated. My room smelled something like mothballs, but you got used to it after a few minutes. Ory arranged a taxi driver to pick me up from the airport for 100 Moroccan Dirhams and Jamila was waiting to pick me up from where the taxi dropped me off. It's a fairly short walk from the Riad to the main souk area, and there are buses that leave for other cities just a 5-10 minute walk from the Riad.

    Karoline2012-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Ory's place was a lovely, tranquil, hidden spot behind the markets in Marakkesh. I stayed here with 4 other girls and it was more than enough space for us. The location was ideal and allowed us to walk to most places and if we were feeling lazy there was always the option of taking a taxi as the taxi stop was a 2 min walk away. The actual Riad was very beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Jamila the housekeeper kept the Riad in a spotless condition and made a light breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee and pastries every morning. The roof terrace was my personal favourite part of the Riad and allowed us to soak in the sun in the day and watch the stars at night. I highly recommend staying here. Finally the organisation of the taxi to pick us up from the airport and drop us off was very smooth even though our flight in was delayed.

  • Oriettas Riad is a lovely place to stay for your vacations. Not only she has decorated it to make you feel like at home, Its a beautiful place, but also she has the best service. Jamila made for us the best Harira and Cous Cous I´ve ever eaten. Delicious. Both Jamila and Mesht, where always there for anything that we needed. They where really helpful. Its really well situated and just exiting the riad, there is a market, with everything that you may need for eating. Very close from the big plaza. (Walking distance)

    Enrique2014-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Communication with Ory was excellent from the start. Prompt feedback and organisation. The houskeeper Jamila was incredibly accomodating, modest and kind. The rooms were immaculately clean, with special attention to detail, such as placing of small decorative cushions, putting away of shirts that I had in haste left on the bed. We felt so at home. The listing was indeed accurate. We were clearly tucked away from the hustle of the otherwise noisy and busy old town, with our very own roof terrace. From here I was able to take some stunning timelapse film of the starry night sky. Awesome. The neighbourhood was inside the city walls, at the gate entrance called 'bab doukkala'. At first we were a little hesitant, because the noise and smells at this gateway and the stalls was a little overwhelming, but we got used to it in the first day. It's not until the souks that traders started to hassle us offering 'for you, good price' (Website hidden by Airbnb)

  • A great Riad tucked away in what I would term more of an authentic part of Marrakech. Remember Hammam al-ghirmayy as this is the location where you need the taxi drivers to drop you on your return. Our stay was improved immensely from Jamila and Mohammeds hospitality. They went out of their way to accommodate us. A cosy, nicely decorated and well kept Riad. Bab Doukala is a gem of a street, where the locals have little money but great hearts and a most welcoming hospitality - a world of difference from Jmaa al Fana where money is the only currency. This was my 5th Visit to Morrocco. Each of my visits has been different and this was as enjoyable as my previous visits. Develop friendship with the locals on this street and you will encounter a glimpse of the real marrakech. Hammam Ghirmay, you can have a bath, scrub and massage for 30 dirhams! want to experience the Tangier? ask Jamila or one of the locals to assist. between 100 - 200 dirhams. See jamie olivers youtube clip on bachelors pot. My one suggestion would be to do the whole experience yourself, from choosing the ingredients (you may want to add your own spices) selecting the meat to taking it to be cooked in the underground tavern. Jama al Fana is a 10 -15 min walk. when using Taxis insist on the meter. petit taxis cost approx 6-10 dirhams to either Gueliz or the square. I could write endlessly on marrakech, about the Riad, the city the various trips, the scams, how to avoid and how to enjoy the city. those looking for specific tips can email me (Email hidden by Airbnb) The riad is well located for the square and the new city (Gueliz) though for those who are wanting a sanitised holiday, I would recommend to keep away. We found the area safe and friendly. The vendors friendly and honest. I would just place the money in my palm and let them take what was due. Despite me being fairly fluent in Arabic, this is always my acid test to determine how honest people are. I wouldn't dream of doing this in the square. Look out for the sweet vendors, small freshly made donuts are 2 dirham a pack! or the many small bakeries that sell their freshly baked cakes, biscuits, sweets for a few dirhams. The call to prayer will disturb many, it is beautiful, but the PA systems have sabotaged this great calling and all you will hear is a badly amplified voice. We enjoyed retreating to the Riad at the end of the day or midday when we were looking to rest, and after a few days it felt like home. The 10 days ran out quicker than we would have liked. Our youngest child (not yet 2) developed a real bond with Jamila and still calls after her wondering where she is!

  • I'd love to go back to Marrakech to stay in this airbnb. The host and all the staffs are extremely thoughtful and nice. I really liked chatting near the fireplace after the rain. Thank you for hosting us.! We will come back soon.

  • Dar Zaman is a perfect place to stay in Marrakesh! Peter and his staff, Yassine and Hassan, made our stay very unique and comfortable, providing plenty of useful tips about the city - and a delicious breakfast! The riad itself is an old beautiful family house, with a nice rooftop terrace. It is conveniently located close to the souks, and about 15min walk from Jamaa el Fna. We will definitely come back to Dar Zaman for our next stay in Marrakech, I fully recommend it!

  • Peter and his staff were very kind and helpful. We definitely enjoyed our stay in the Riad. Kind regards from Bo and Louise

  • We loved our time spent at Riad Dad Zaman. Hassan was super accommodating, knowledgeable and kind making our experience so pleasant. The Riad is lovely and relaxing and close to many hip restaurants and shops. If I were to go back to Marrakech I would definitely stay there!

  • We had a fantastic time at Dar Zaman. Peter, Hassan, Yassin and Karima were incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel right at home. Hassan and Yassin know the city by heart and gave us plenty of great tips to make sure we had the best possible experiences. The personalised map with extra notes and info they gave us was great to help us find our way in the maze of souks. We stayed in the room with a bath, and it was very cosy. Not very big, but there are plenty of nice places in the riad to enjoy your stay (lounge, terras, dining area and of course the lovely courtyard). The breakfast every morning is great as well, they always made sure we could fit it in our traveling schedule. We would definitely recommend this riad to anybody travelling to this lovely city, Hassan and Yassin are both great guys who will make sure your trip will be unforgettable!

  • Wonderful riad, fantastic hospitality, great breakfast and beautiful design. Don't hesitate to stay here!

  • Hands down the best Airbnb experience I've had. Peter was a great host, always responsive and accommodating, and organized airport pickup, late dinner and early breakfast to fit my tight schedule. Yassin at the riad greeted us with such a warm welcome with home cooked tagine, the best we had on our trip so far. Stone bathtub, Egyptian bed sheets, Moroccan style interior decoration and artworks were all so pleasant and made my stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech.

    Heather2017-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Peter’s place was absolutely amazing, in a great location easy to walk everywhere from but nice and quiet to escape the busy Médina! Hassan and Yassine were unbelievably helpful and Hassan’s directions about how to get around were amazing! They gave us so many great recommendations and made us feel very welcome! Breakfast was also delicious! Would love to stay here again!

  • The breakfast was great, and the staff took note of what we liked and didn't, without us even mentioning it. Beautiful place, still Moroccan but with a unique European touch. Loved our stay. The location is between the main square of the Medina and the marjorelle gardens, so great location for accessing old and new city alike.

  • Tranquility is what describes this Riad. The whole place is immaculately clean and well set up, the roof top terrace is nicely decorated and beautifully lights up during the night time. The market and streets in Marrakesh are full on and its quite exhausting. But once you return home to this Riad, you feel that you are in the safe place where you can rest your mind and relax. The on-site hotel staff is so polite and respectful. I’d definitely recommend this place and would like to come back again.

Tornei volentierissimo... La prossima volta con i miei figli.

Charming Riad in the Medina of Marrakech Located in the heart of the medina of Marrakech, 10 minutes from Djemaa el Fna Square and 200 meters from the souks, our charming Riad Tahani, offers a modern and refined ambiance.
In the heart of Marrakech the red city, we rent this guest house, carefully decorated with an atmosphere where everything is peace and tranquility. We chosen to create a relaxing and Zen space, mixing modern and traditional Moroccan style.
A really quiet place close from the place Riad Laarous and the Medina.
  • Thank you Jean-Martin and the crew at Riad Tahani for making my first visit to Marrakech such a special one. I was amazed at the responsiveness of Jean-Martin and the staff at the Riad. There were always available no matter how small the matter, from restaurant recommendations to airport transfers. The Riad itself was very nice and it was a pleasure to stay with you guys. Thank you once again.

  • Thank you so much for a lovely stay and amazing experience in Marrakesh. We loved the riad and the staff, they made us feel very welcome. It was good location 10 minute walk to the centre and just out of the hustle and bustle. Thanks

  • Beautiful and clean riad, great staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere, highly recommended! Jean-Martin made the entire experience very easy. He was always very quick to respond and accommodate us. The host and staff were incredible. Very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome at all times. The location is great overall. The riad is a little tricky to find at first, so I also recommend booking a taxi from the airport through the riad. After that, it's pretty easy to find again and is a great starting base to exploring the city. I highly recommend booking dinner at the riad! The two dinners cooked for us at the riad were the best we had during our entire stay in Marrakech. The breakfasts and mint tea are also a huge plus.

  • Our stay at the Riad was definitely the highlight of our vacation! We never actually got to meet Jean-Martin but the staff at the Riad was incredibly nice. The breakfast was delicious and our room was great! The room was cleaned every day & our towels were changed every day as well. We paid for the taxi service when we arrived but took a petit taxi on our way to the airport which was half the price of what the Riad offered. (70 dirhams vs. 15euros). Will definitely stay here next time I come to Marrakech & highly recommend it!

  • The room and the service at Riad Tahani was fantastic. It is, as all Riads are in Marrakesh, hidden well in the alleys so prepare yourself for the sensation of getting slightly lost. The breakfast served was simple but delicious. I met two people working here - a man who speaks a little English and a woman who doesn't, so get some French ready before you come! The room is colourful, comfortable and the bedding warm even in the heart of winter. Riad's are built like chimneys so all of the heat rushes out - prepare for the coldest place in Marrakesh to be your bedroom! The shower was just fine, towels and bits all provided. It would be great place for a couple, undoubtedly. I enjoyed it and would recommend it - it does feel a little far from the action, though, and I did get quite lonely with no other people staying there when I was there! If you are traveling alone (like I was) it might be worth checking to see if other people are present when you are booking. Other than that, I had a fantastic time. Thank you all so much!

  • Lovely riyad, clean rooms and cute pool! Good breakfast and helpful staff. Location isn't as it says on (Hidden by Airbnb) maps so I would recommend getting someone to meet you to show you where to go.

The medina of Marrakech constitutes the nerve center and the historical heart of the city of Marrakech. Extending over an area of 600 hectares, it is one of the largest medinas in Morocco and the most populous in North Africa.
  • Would definitely recommend it! They were extremely nice and the terrace is beautiful. The breakfast was very good! Would stay here again.

  • Our stay at Riad Ksar Saad was beyond our expectations. The Riad and our room were wonderfully decorated and impeccably clean. We arrived at midnight and after we settled into our room Mohammed brought us mint tea and cookies....complimentary. The location is very central and super easy to find...being in the medina. The whole staff was there to accommodate our every need and answer any questions, giving us great tips on shopping and restaurants. The breakfast included was fabulous and each day they varied it. The one downfall was that the wifi did not work in our room. We could only access it from the downstairs lounge-pool area. We loved the pool, rooftop terrace, and the staff that made our stay very unique and unforgettable. The next time we are in Marrakech we will definitly stay at Riad Ksar Saad!

  • I recommend very much Christophe's place. He has a beautiful Riad, well located (close to everything that need to be seen.) It is very clean with very nice people. They help you with anything you need. It has quality and the price are really low for what you get. I will definitely go back myself and advise you to go.

  • If you are going in Marrakech, this is the place you have to stay in. Great location, amazing staff, clean and well decorated. You can’t go wrong at that price. You will love the breakfast at the top of the Casbah and you will apreciate the tranquility of the place after a crazy day of visit in the Medina.

    Jean-Christophe2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Christophe’s place is definitely a great choice for Marrakech. It is close to the bus stop, and many major places of attractions. The building is fantastic and if you go to the rooftop it offers you nice view, especially for sunset~ the host is welcoming and the staff are very helpful. It was a great deal with clean and huge room and nice breakfast. Highly recommended. (Just one reminder for the host: the address is not clear on Airbnb, when I first arrived, I had to ask the taxi driver to make a phone call so he could drive me to the right place. So maybe you can put some details of how to get to your place? Such as taking bus 5? Cheers!)

  • Had an amazing stay at Riad Vert. It was my cousin and my first time in Marrakech, we stayed for 3 nights before heading down the coast. Isabel, Nadia and their team were amazing and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, giving us lots of information, including tours they offered, how to get to the main sights in the city, a fixed priced taxi number which was useful and some advice for navigating the Médina itself. The Riad is located in a quite area near the wall of the Medina about a 15 min fairly direct walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa. Food was great, we had a lovely meal our first night at the riad and traditional breakfast each morning. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great during our stay so we weren’t able to properly enjoy the roof terrace or pool but it was lovely up there, will have to save that for our next visit.

    Katya2018-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Isabel and the staff made our first trip as a married couple so lovely. The riad is so beautiful and peaceful, the breakfast and other food we ordered were so very tasty. We loved the room, it was big enough and the "tadelakt" bathroom is so authentic and beautiful. We enjoyed the sun on the terrace and were very happy to cool down in the little pool when it was too hot.

  • Melanie’s place is exactly how the picture presents. Lovely decor and designs! The place is very tricky to get to so make sure you have clear instructions before arriving!! Especially if you’re not coming from the airport. Do your research before staying in the Médina. Having traveled Egypt, Jordan and Israel alone previous to this trip. I thought I had seen it all. Prepare yourself for aggressive sexual harassment, locals trying to lead you astray and vendors trying to get you in their store. Although Melanie’s place is in the perfect place with quick access to tourist sites, fantastic restaurants and market vendors. One should know what to expect upon arrival to the Médina. When it comes down to it this is a great place if you want to be in the hustle of the Médina, with great staff and a wonderful set up within Marrakech Médina. Melanie sends out a fantastic recommendations list and tips prior to arrival. I went to almost every restaurant on her list, and it was worth it!

    Sarah2018-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Maison 28 was very nice. Melanie’s place is well decorated, very lovely (especially the rooftop) and well situated in Marrakech, just next to the souk. I recommend that place without any hesitation.

  • We had such a wonderful stay at Melanie's RIAD in Marrakech. We were really pleased to be staying in the terrace room, as it was lovely and bright with 3 large windows (RIAD rooms do not typically have windows to the outside, just the inner courtyard). The RIAD has been beautifully restored, with great attention to every detail. The 2 rooftop terraces were wonderful places to enjoy a mid-afternoon siesta (under the tent) and/or the evening sky, on the very top. The breakfasts were very good, the best we encountered during our stay in Morocco. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was excellent and the AC was able to keep us as cool as we wanted. Melanie was very quick with her responses, and her property manager was helpful with any questions we had. If we return to Marrakech, we hope there is a room available at Melanie's RIAD.

    Clare Younge2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Melanie has designed a gorgeous oasis in the heart of the Médina! Above and beyond aesthetics, she and her team made arriving in Morocco for the first time stress-free and easy! She arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport, and offered a home-made dinner our first night. Her space is clean and beautiful, so many ideas to take home. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful escape from the city below. The whole house is fantastic, but I personally feel this bedroom was the best! It’s at the very top of the house, and had beautiful morning light.

  • Maison 28 was a great place to stay in Marrakech. Melanie’s place was beautifully decorated and the rooftop terrace had a great view at sunset. Everyone was very lovely and super helpful. We had a great time!

  • Melanie’s place is beautiful! Its an 11! Everything was well thought off. The whole riad is pinterest and (Hidden by Airbnb) worthy! Jalil and zoubair were super accommodating, my husband and i had dinner on our last night and finished a bit late and we got a bit worried that we might get lost and we contacted zoubair, and zoubair & jalil picked us up in the square. Jalil is quiet but super helpful. The place is really dreamy, I kept taking photos and did a mini photo shoot with my husband. Perfection. Also, Melanie is such a great host, she always answers my questions and etc. 2 thumbs up and a round of applause for this place and the people connected to it. ☺️ Thank you Melanie, zoubair and Jalil!

    Chrissie2018-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Where to begin! Our whole experience at Melanie's Riad was an absolute DREAM. We didn't meet Melanie in person, but Zoubair went above and beyond making us feel welcome and was kind enough to come all the way to get us one night when we got lost. We loved talking to him, and learning more about the Morocco. The Riad itself is a like a beautiful work of art, every detail from the furniture to the hand-painted walls are incredible. The housekeepers and night guardian Abd Jalil were so lovely, hardworking and helpful - they made us dinner on the last night which we loved. It is not often we get to stay somewhere as beautiful as Maison 28, so it was a very special experience for us that we will never forget. Thank you so much Melanie, Zoubair and all the Maison 28 staff, we hope to be lucky enough to come back one day. - Kinal & Richelle

Dar Zaman is an ancient medina home, restored and opened as a licensed guest house in 2007. We have kind, gentle English and French speaking staff to help you find your way, delicious food, and cosy, clean rooms. We're located at the end of a quiet street where you'll hear just birdsong and the melodic call to prayer. The local hammam is a great opportunity to sample real medina life, and Karima's cooking class is a great way to take a piece of it home with you! :-)
The Riad is a stunning mixture of ancient and modern nestled in the heart of the magical Marrakech medina. The riad is ideally located north of the main square, close to the souks and Medersa Ben Youssef. The Riad offers four double en-suite air conditioned rooms (Carbone and Douiria rooms can be twin), equipped with hairdryer, digital safe and complimentary toiletries. **This listing is for the Douiria room. See our other listings on AirBnb for the other rooms. The riad has an interior courtyard, three sitting rooms with two open fireplaces, a dipping pool, sun terrace and free wi-fi throughout. A sumptuous breakfast is included in the room rate – a wonderful choice of fresh bread, croissants, pastries and crepes with honey and jam, homemade yoghurt and eggs, fresh fruit, served with freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee. Our aim at Dar Zaman is to enable our guests to experience the Marrakech we've come to know and love over the last 10 years. We have a fantastic, hard working team who are ever present yet discreet, helpful and kind. They’ll happily share their excellent knowledge of Marrakech with you - they know where to buy quality babouche at a fair price, where to get the best spa treatments, where to take your cooking class (at our riad!), and where you can eat a tagine seated metres from a stunning waterfall in the Atlas Mountains. The riad is a sanctuary from the bustle of the medina – we offer luxurious bedding, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers, wifi, open fireplaces in the salons for the winter months, and a deliciously cool dipping pool for the summer months. Mint tea is complimentary for all guests – all day and night long. The staff will happily share the recipe and show you how to make it. Nous parlons français, se habla español, falamos português! *** Additional 3 euros per person/night Kingdom of Morocco local taxes NOT included in accommodation rate.
We're located within easy walking distance to several great restaurants - iLimoni, Dar Zellij, Le Jardin, Terrasse des Epices, Café Arabe, Dar Cherifa - and also some of the most popular attractions in the medina, such as Medersa Ben Youssef, La Maison de la Photographie, Le Jardin Secret (Secret Garden) and the souks.
  • While the Riad is in a quiet area of mainly locals, noise transfers within the building quite easily. We also felt it was a bit away from the typical sights and conveniences in the medina and would have felt more secure with better lighting on the streets outside the Riad. Breakfast is a nice addition, make sure to request the tasty eggs!

    Robert2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • The staff is amazing. They can't do enough for you. The orientation to the Medina was so detailed and we even got tips on how best to maneuver through the "fake guides". The food was excellent. We had dinner there one night and it was very cosy and romantic. Just fyi, the "washer" that is listed in the amenities is really a laundry service. For a small fee per load, they will wash your laundry and hang it to dry. There is a lovely rooftop terrace that we were not able to take advantage of because it was chilly but it has a great view of the city and the mountains. Highly recommend Peter's riad if you're staying in the Medina in Marrakesh

    Linda2018-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • It is difficult to overstate our feelings towards Dar Zaman, our hosts, and our experience of the city. From the moment we arrived, we were a part of the family. We were picked up promptly from the airport, and taken right to the main intersection of our neighborhood in the Medina (Sidi Ben Slimane). A note on location: it could not have been better. Much of the Medina is not easily accessible by car, which for some may present challenges when booking rides or hailing taxis. Staying at Dar Zaman, it was always worry-free at any time of day. It is also located in a more residential area of the Medina, rather than the tourist-dense areas around the main square - this is something we really appreciated. Hassan met us and guided us to Dar Zaman. The resources they have on hand for visitors are invaluable: a special map that Hassan marks up for you to help you learn the routes through the Medina; a booklet with a full complement of their own personalized recommendations (trips, shops, restaurants, advice, contact information, etc.); and from Hassan and Yassine themselves, a wealth of personal knowledge about the city and how to make the most of your time. After spending the day walking all over, visiting sites and taking it all in, we would retire every afternoon to our rooftop at Dar Zaman to rest before going to dinner later. It is a paradise, and Hassan and Yassine's hospitality knows no bounds. Whether it be a snack, a glass of wine, or a visit to recap on the day's adventures, they were always there for us. Several friends of ours were staying in Marrakech as well, as we were all there for a wedding. On one occasion, several of them came to visit us at Dar Zaman, to relax for part of an evening and have a glass of wine on the rooftop. They loved the place. One of the most memorable experiences in Morocco was the fact that we were there during Ramadan. It was a privilege to witness the daily routines followed by our hosts and neighbors: listening to the calls from our rooftop, and learning about how families and businesses observe. With Hassan and Yassine's guidance, it was a fascinating and enriching lens through which to experience the city. To summarize on a few important details: - arranged pick up from and back to the airport is worth its weight in gold - air conditioning worked beautifully - everything was exceedingly clean, always - our room was gorgeous, quiet and comforting - breakfast was perfect - it is a very enjoyable 10-15 min walk south to the square - it is a 2 min walk to the main taxi stand - we felt completely safe at all times - everything in the Medina is walking distance, including some outstanding restaurants (Dar Cherifa, Nomad, Naranj, Dar Yacout, Le Jardin, Kui-Zin, and more) Hassan and Yassine were more than just hosts -...

This spacious room with ensuite shower gives onto a patio. It has a beautiful oriental arch separating the sleeping area from the sitting area. It can sleep 2 people in the large double bed and a 3 person in a built is sofa bed (more suitable for a child or young adult). There is also the possibility of adding one or two additional mattresses to this spacious room for a family group.
The 1001 Nights room is a magical room in our traditional riad (house) in the heart of Marrakech. The 1001 Nights room is a junior suite, spacious with large arched windows and beautiful oriental curves. It has its own private patio in front, where you can relax on the large sofa. There is a double bed and a single sofa bed. Another bed can be added to accommodate up to 2 adults and 3 children. The en-suite bathroom, with shower, is made of traditional tadelakt (a typical moroccan plaster-work finish) There are 5 other bedrooms in the Riad, all very different in style and size. The riad, a traditional house built around an open patio with a fountain and trees, is very peaceful. You can relax on the roof terrace on a lounger or in one of the tents, in the jacuzzi/pool or why not try the hammam! Moad, the 2 Rachidas and Hassan will welcome you warmly and help you organise your stay in Marrakech.
Our Riad is centrally located in the Medina or old town, in a quiet area, but only 2 minutes from buzzing pedestrian streets, lined with colourful shops, traditional workshops and laid-back cafés, that lead you to the souks (10 min) and the famous Djema El Fna Square
  • We, two grown-ups and a 4-year-old, spent a week A charming riad with a perfect location near the souks and just next to Sidi Ben Slimane, where you can easily get a cab. A 1001 Nights' feeling with a big, charming rooftop terrace. Very child-friendly environment and nice employees. The only downside is, since it isn't heated, it tends to get cold during nighttime in february.

  • Riad o2 was lovely, well located and stylish! Rachida's food was the best morrocan food we had! Our room was spacious and with a lovely out door seating area and the BEST shower! Nice to be able to buy a bottle of wine when we needed and the option to eat in on lazy days. Hammam and massage we had was excellent, although hammam was small the massage and scrub was so good and excellent value. The day trips we did with Hicham were great, Essouira and the Ourika Valley. Great to get out of city and see sea and mountains! Would recommend to anyone visiting!

  • The whole location is amazing and we were very happy with our room. The rooftop terrace and the patio offer much space to relax. Rachida is an excellent cook and we really recommend to try one of her dinners. Everybody at the Riad is very caring and nice. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

  • We had a great stay here. The staff is incredible and the place made for a wonderful retreat from the frenetic pace of Marrakech

    Hannah2018-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Riad O2 was perfect! The management team had our best interests and was attentive to their guests. My cousin and I are both ladies in their 20s and we felt very safe with the area. One night we did get lost (getting lost is a fun part of the experience!) and returned that day later than we should have. However one of the managers was there to make sure we didn’t have issues getting into the Riad. We were very appreciative of this and are happy that their staff is very caring. The location is great as well. It is walking distance from everything like the Jemaa el fna, restaurants, and shops. While everything is still close by, I would still recommend downloading the (Hidden by Airbnb) maps of the area as well as keep hold of the map you’ll find in the Riad just in case. Every morning we would look forward to breakfast and it was a great way to start off our day. The space itself is very clean and comfortable. I’m picky especially when it comes to the bathroom and the one in our room exceeded my expectations. It also felt so good to fall into a cleanly made bed every night. My overall recommendation when visiting Marrakech would be to take the advice you would for any major city. More importantly, have fun!

    Michelle2018-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The riad is very big and airy with lots of places to sit in relax, the thing we liked most is the lovely breakfast on the terrace.

    Serena2017-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wasn't up to the standard expected. The room was as shown in photos and perfectly clean and lovely, but the common areas were very different to how shown - solely because they hadn't been cleaned after a 50th birthday that had been on before we arrived. The whole Riad had amazing potential, but the screened roof was on during the whole stay despite the lovely sun and weather making the common courtyard stuffy and allowed a lot of flies to gather. The jacuzzi was nice but could have been a bit cleaner (bugs floating around). However, would recommend the hammam that was fantastic and the masseuse was brilliant and very friendly. The breakfast was also good.

  • Very nice riad in a perfect location. Clean and great service. Amazing roof terrace which was truly enjoyable.

  • The best, most helpful staff. Every morning a great breakfast (which is loaded with carbs, but if you want anything else they’re happy to change it for you). The riad is probably the most beautiful place we’ve seen during our stay - even prettier than garden La Majorelle or Palais Bahia. The beds are super comfy and if you stay in one of the suites you have plenty of room walk, sit, lay down, probably do a cartwheel and put your stuff. Every day we got tea with cake. We couldn’t have wished for a more pleasant stay.

Ottima colazione. Speriamo di tornare presto!

  • Our stay at Faty’s riad was amazing! Right off the bat, Faty came to meet us at our taxi so she could walk us through Jemaa el-fna. Her tips and advice on what to expect and how to adjust to life in Marrakech were invaluable. The riad itself was just off the Main Street of the bustling market but you would never guess because of how quiet and calm that side street was. The breakfast we had every morning was so delicious and we always had plenty of Moroccan tea! Faty gave us a map of Marrakech as well as recommendations on what to see and what to eat and how to plan our days. We couldn’t have been happier. This riad was amazing. I highly recommend. Can’t beat the price for the location, the hospitality and the experience.

  • Faty was hospitable and caring. We got breakfast and there was always someone there in case we needed anything.

A beautiful and elegant room in a XIV century renovated Moroccan home where an Spanish artist works in his atelier. Welcome to our peaceful place just 3 minutes walking from the famous Jema El Fnaa Square and nearby the souks and Koutoubia. A/C and a small swimming pool to cool off. Welcome pack for guests with a mobile phone to be connected between the rooms, with the house and receive international calls, can be used to call with a small charge. The riad is a traditional house in the center of the Medina of Marrakech. It has two floors with several rooms that overlook a central courtyard with a small pool. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, Egyptian cotton sheets, television and A/C On our gorgeous gardened terrace of more than 1000m2 you are welcomed to enjoy the lovely views of the Koutoubia and the Atlas Snow Mountains. It is full of beautiful places to rest from the hectic life of the Medina and its souks. Reading, sunbathing, taking a nap, having a drink or chatting becomes a real delight in any corner of the house (haimas, chillouts, etc). We have a charming library room if you want to work. Every single detail has been accurately conceived, paying respect to traditional materials such as Bejmat, tadelak, sculpted cedar wood, and Zellij tiles. On the terrace we have a restaurant with traditional food and some European dish cooked with all the affection by our chef Rachid with daily menu. Our delicious breakfast - buffet consists of: - Typical Moroccan homemade bread - Traditional Moroccan homemade cakes - Cereals - Honey - Omelette with or without cumin and cooked at the moment - Coffee - Herbal tea and other types of tea, - Milk - Yogurt - Fresh seasonal fruit - Homemade jam - Freshly squeezed orange juice in our kitchen It is available in our restaurant or on the terraces for only € 6 per person On the main floor you can’t miss the special indulgence of a Moroccan Hammam and massage... a relaxing oasis experience and all without leaving the riad! We have a team that will welcome you at any time of the day and provide all the access information, maps and other useful recommendations Our goal is to make you feel at home!!
The riad is located at the Mouassine area, one of the best and most ancient quarters of the Medina. The location is unbeatable, in the middle of the souks, and nearby the coranic School Medersa Ben Youseff and the gorgeous Jema el Fnaa square, among others.
  • We had a truly wonderful four nights at riad Dar Justo. The building itself is beautiful, with lovely original features and great attention to detail throughout. The place has a feeling of peacefulness - an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the Marrakech Medina. Often only the call to prayer and the birds can be heard. The roof terrace is fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast out in the early morning sun every day. The staff were also fantastic - nothing was ever too much. It was my partner's birthday on the second day we were there, and they really generously arranged for some surprise cake! We also loved that there was a spa next door, and would thoroughly recommend having a Moroccan hammam there. We can't speak highly enough of this place & will definitely be back on our next visit to Marrakech!

  • Sara/Hassania was SO friendly, warm and welcoming! She and her staff took great care of us and the room + riad was STUNNING. We wish we could've just stayed on the premises and the hammam for a few days! A true oasis from the business of Marrakech.

    Rachel2016-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a pleasant stay in this lovely riad. Rooms were very clean and the facilities were just as pictured.

    Jenny2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in Hassania's riad. It was a beautiful oasis in a great location, the roof garden, spa and pool were amazing, even nicer than we expected from the photos. The staff were all lovely. Omar on reception was particularly kind and helpful, and spoke great English. He even arranged an early morning breakfast the day we were leaving.

    Anna2016-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • My 5th trip to Marrakech and every time I stay at a different Riad. Far justo is by far my favourite and the only one I'll come back to. It's magical.

    Virginia2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Love this location!! It is central to the markets and souks. They are very hospitable and also even have a spa. They have the best green tea and their food is good. The room was majestic and the Riad was extremely beautiful. Booking here is worth it.

    Alexander2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. In the middle of the vibrant medina, but in the tranquility of the luxurious riad. Communication upfront was very well and efficient and all arrangements were properly managed! Definitely going back.

    Mark2017-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived earlier than check in and were taken to relax on the roof terrace with refreshing Moroccan mint tea. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The Riad is peaceful and beautiful, on several levels with flowers and lovely décor. The plunge pool was a welcome refresh after a hot day exploring Marrakech, and there are great sun beds too. The location couldn't be better. There were hardly any others staying which meant it was lovely and quiet although a little lacking in atmosphere in the restaurant where we ate one night, but the food was delicious esp the Meatball tagine! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Room Jardin, located on the ground floor has direct access to the patio and lounge area. A/C, WiFi, very generous bathroom, simple storage. Our beautiful riad was renovated in 2015 and is situated in a quiet derb ( street) only a few minutes walk from Jemma el Fna. Our friendly English speaking staff will take very good care of you. Our riad is situated in a peaceful residential neighbourhood in a quiet derb ( street). I really like that are Moroccan families also living here. We are members of the local Community Association which supports local community projects. Our neighbourhood bakery is nearby as are the markets where local people shop. This all gives guests a wonderful to observe local life a world away from the tourist attractions. However in a few minutes you can also be in the heart of the souks where all the action is!
  • I cannot begin to describe how phenomenal of a riad this is. With so many places to stay in Marrakech do your research because I had a bad experience at another riad and the morning of I cancelled my reservation and came upon Linda's riad with very limited time to find another place to stay. I messaged Linda and within minutes she got back to me with any questions I had. Needless to say when I arrived the same day she welcomed me in and was extremely friendly and down to earth, which made my stay much more comfortable. My room was amazing, great size, clean and modern with air conditioning which is a must with hot temperatures! The location was central very close to shops, restaurants, taxis. Would highly recommend this riad to anyone! Thanks again Linda!

  • Great riad, renovated but authentic, located in the heart of the Medina. For first time visitors it seems confusing to get there at first but after navigating through the small streets once or twice, it's fine. I was very well welcomed by the staff, very kind, helpful and speak English well enough. Shukran!

  • We had a lovely stay, so thank you very much! The Riad is in a great location just north of the main square, close to the souks and some lovely restaurants. Our room was freshly made up every morning with clean towels, and we were made to feel very welcome. The roof terrace was fine for going up and reading into the evening, and the Riad was generally easy to find once Simone had showed us the quickest way. We were also given some very good recommendations for dinner - especially Nomad and Cafe des Epices. A couple of things could have made our stay even better. We would have appreciated a bit more information on how to behave around the city - for example, a warning that people would constantly try to lure us to the Tanneries, and more guidance on what is acceptable or not when haggling! There are lots of cultural expectations that we weren't aware of, and that our guide book didn't tell us. Local knowledge would be very useful. The other thing was the breakfast - it was very carb-heavy (bread, pancakes and cake). So just be aware!

    Luke2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • The suite is lovely and exactly as represented in the pictures. Breakfast is delicious and served by the wonderful housekeeper Jamila. Simone and Alberto were extremely responsive and reserved us a ride to Essaouira and a private hammam. We also had dinner cooked one night and it was absolutely incredible! I would highly recommend the riad.

  • Alberto and Matteo's Riad was even better than in the pictures. The place is centrally located in the Medina, it is stylish, clean, welcoming, and we had access to the beautiful rooftop. They communicated with us promptly before, during and after our stay in their riad and helped us by storing our luggage while we went away on a desert tour. Highly recommended.

  • Amazing space & host, This will be my goto spot every time I'm in Morocco! Alberto and Said was an amazing hist as well!

    Timothy2018-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • the riad was very beautiful, room is big and comfortable, breakfast was filling and tasty, it is located in the medina quite near the central plaza, can be a bit hard to find initially even with the clear instructions provided, i actually got harassed and threatened because some locals "helped" me to find the way (in no way this is the hosts' issue, they were actually very helpful in helping me deal with this and offered help with a lot of things like booking tours), just a note to those travelling alone, otherwise i highly recommend this place as everything is just perfect!

The medina of Marrakech constitutes the nerve center and the historical heart of the city of Marrakech. Extending over an area of 600 hectares, it is one of the largest medinas in Morocco and the most populous in North Africa.

  • There’s no other place in Marrakech quite like this one. Christophe’s Riad is on a different level to any other accomodation we’ve come across and stayed in, beautifully designed and finished, excellent location and highly professional team. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. Christophe was a gracious and humble host who together with his excellent team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Well recommended :)

  • A truly beautiful raid, definitely a hidden gem in Kasbah! Ideally located within 10mins walk to jemaa el fnaa. They have a spacious rooftop where we loved to relax and unwind in the night and enjoy drinking mint tea. Inside there is a small pool where you can swim or soak your feet after a long day and admire the beautiful interior of the riad. Ideal for those who would like a peaceful break away from all the hustle and bustle. 3 min walk to saadien tombs. Would recommend to visit Zeitoun cafe opposite the tomb. The riad offers great hospitality and airport transfers were easily arranged with the riad for 150 dirhams each way. If you are missing home amenities, Guliz is 1.4 miles away which is the new medina, don't pay more than 30 dirhams for a taxi each way, you really need to haggle the prices as it is always a quarter of what they quote you. Breakfast could do with improvement, would have liked more variety such as pastries, cereal or toast. Overall brilliant experience, would definitely visit again.

  • This is by far my best Airbnb experience. The Riad is extremely beautiful. We lived in the center room on the second floor, equipped with a jaw dropping mosque-like bathroom. There is complimentary breakfast everyday with traditional Moroccan pastries and fig jam. Do Try the dinner here. It may be a bit pricy compared to the ones in the Medina, but it’s the most authentic and delicious Tajine I’ve had during my 4day stay. Although it’s an Airbnb but Oliver and Nun run it like a hotel. We have room cleaning service everyday and there is always someone downstairs in case we need help. There is a nice roof terrace that we spend many nights drinking and identifying the stars. Amongst all these amazing features if I absolutely have to pick on one thing, I would say it’s a bit difficult to find the location on day one. The Riad is located in the deep traditional Moroccan neighborhood where (Hidden by Airbnb) map does not always work. But after day one we get a lot better finding out way home. In all highly recommend!

Room was ultra clean (which makes sense if you keep in mind that it was cleaned every day after breakfast). Speaking of breakfast - it was delicious, fresh and traditional. Also staff was super helpfull - we felt like we had private concierge. Reasuming - I tottaly recomend this Riad for your holiday

  • Very beautiful riad. Highly recommended for those seeking a stylish escape from Marrakech’s crazyness.

  • Great place, very stylish. Olivier and the others made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was very good. The Riad is located away from the busy streets of the Medina, which gave our stay in Marrakech a great balance. Would definitely recommend.

  • This Riad is amazing, the staff from the owner Olivier to the manager Hanane are amazing and caring, during our stay my girlfriend was hospitalized and they did everything to help. Even to the point that Hanane came to see us in the hospital and being us food. The riad is beautiful and super stylish and clean. The access to it is a bit hard with taxi as it is in the old Médina but once your figure it out it is fine.

  • Please invest your 2 minutes to read this review in details. You will be amazed by feeling of this Riad from the very first beginning. Each room interior was designed carefully with making sure to keep everything in it’s beautiful original form. The entire Riad is furnished with local furniture, rugs, posters, brass lamps and house-ware accessories. After whole day of wandering through souks you will be able to get rest with a delicious cup of mint tea. Each meal we were served was absolutely delicious, fresh and honest (they even bake a pastries and make their own homemade yoghurt!). If you will be feeling like an another cup of a tea is what you need don’t hesitate to ask the staff - they’re extremely helpful. We had a chance to visit 4 different Riads during our stay in Morocco and believe me that this kind of hospitality, atmosphere, kindness and quality we didn’t experience anywhere else. From the first moment when Olivier, the owner, welcomed us suggesting what we should see in Marrakesh to the very last morning when we were served a coffee at 6:45AM (breakfast starts at 8) and helped with ordering a taxi to the airport. If you’re looking for the most authentic Moroccan Riad experience then this is the place you definitely have to visit.

Riad Sarah Sabrina A tipical Moroccan Riad right in the heart of the Souk, just 5 minutes from the Central square Jamaa el fna- The Accomadation -wifi free -private ensuite bathroom -A/C -Breakfast service ( from 1€) -Moroccan living tea room and terrace A look around: -square Jamaa El Fna -> 400 m -Spices Square-> 150 m -Souks-> 15 m -Medersa BenYoussef -> 250m -Maison de la photographie -> 250 m -Restaurant Nomad -> 150 m
  • Pretty average. Hotel French (where you're supposed to get picked up to be shown the way to the Riad) is not easy to find from the bus stop and once I found it, I waited for 30min before someone showed up. The Riad itself is ok, but there is no one there at any point if you need anything, so yeah, good luck if you book this place.
