A separate living space designed for privacy from the rest of the home. There is a sitting room, bedroom, and private bathroom secluded from the business of the rest of the home. Shared kitchen and laundry room allow for all amenities to be available to our guests. 55 acres of farm and forest provide plenty of room to hike and explore the many aspects of nature in the Pacific Northwest. Gorgeous views of Mount Hood are provided whenever the clouds can be kept away.
  • Great place to stay if you’re planning a trip around the Mt. Hood area.

    Patrice2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Absolute perfection! The sweetest family hosting at the best location, so many pluses up here: the family, the critters, the accomodations, the farm itself, the location... Epic value, pride in ownership is evident - as it should be - and the hosts couldn't be more lovely, thoughtful and generous! So thankful for the best experiences on the farm, and the memories that will follow us!

  • Quiet stay that’s just outside the small charming town of Sandy and close enough to Mt. Hood. Exactly what we were looking for. Great hosts and a great place.

  • This place is truly great! You can be certain that you will be warmly welcomed not only by David and Charlie but also their loving dogs. They have a really neat property full of goats, rabbits, cows, and other animals. It is a quiet space with lots of room. It was exactly what we needed. Would highly recommend you to stay here if you get the chance!

To help protect the health of our guests, we are suspending new reservations from now until June 20th, or until the current situation related to covid-19 is resolved. At this moment, the entire state of Oregon has been asked to abide by the "stay home" guidelines. As soon health officials determine that we can all get back to work, school, and enjoying cozy places like Cedarwood, we will gladly welcome you. We know that a getaway to Cedarwood Cabin will be a welcome retreat!
Looking for a place to get away from it all? Enjoy a relaxing stay in this gem of a cozy cabin, surrounded by trees, and fresh air. Stoke the woodstove and watch the fire, read, write, relax, and savor the simple life. Welcome to Cedarwood. For those who seek an authentic cabin experience, Cedarwood offers the rustic, historic, and simple. Think of it as stepping out of the modern. Hand-built and lovingly restored. If you love hand-crafted details, you'll fall in love with Cedarwood. A beautiful enamel woodstove is the centerpiece--with firewood provided! Practice your pioneer skills, get a fire going and tend it, and savor the reward. The queen-sized bed sleeps two comfortably. The futon couch folds down for an additional sleeping spot (about the size of a double bed). Two indoor sleeping bags and extra blankets provided for slumber party style sleeping (or forts). The kitchen is basic, but has tools to turn your groceries into great meals: a plug-in hot-plate and griddle (no oven), makes for classics like pasta dinners or hotcakes and omelet breakfasts. Microwave, coffee grinder, french press, and an assortment of bowls, dishes and utensils are at the ready. Or enjoy the nearby restaurants and brewpubs of Welches. The bathroom is an arm’s reach from the backdoor. It’s a quick step out, but inside is completely remodeled; you’ll find the subway tile shower, sink, toilet, towel cabinet, and built-in cedar shelves. There’s even a twist-timer wall heater for your convenience during your washroom time. For travelers accustomed to more modern accommodations, not to worry, you can fall in love here, too. But please know that this cabin, like all historic cabins, can get chilly in the morning, has simple cooking set up, and is by design a rustic and simple structure in the woods. (See details in “other things to note.”) Cedarwood is a magical place to slow down, unwind, unplug, relax. You won't find a TV, but you'll find fun books on hiking, wildflowers, and Mt Hood history. You'll find a cozy couch with soft blankets and hand-made pillows to read, to nap, to cuddle. Fall asleep to the gentle patter of rain.
Conveniently located just off of Mt Hood's main route, HWY 26, Cedarwood Cabin is less than 5 miles to Welches, 5-10 miles from some of the best trailheads, and 15-30 miles to the ski areas. You'll be in easy access to grocery store, brewpubs, coffee shop, gas station, liquor store, and ski rental shop. The cabin is one of a dozen or so other cabins and homes on a loop road. So there is no through traffic. You can see other homes from the cabin. You may see nieghbors walking their dogs. It’s a quiet, safe neighborhood, where folks keep an eye out for each other but also respect privacy.
  • Great cabin tucked away in the woods.

    Kerry2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful say at Ian's Cedarwood Cabin! The wood burning stove, lighting, and blankets all created a cozy atmosphere and made my birthday weekend very relaxing.

    Natalie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy and quaint cabin experience. A perfect mountain getaway cabin. The cabin is small but relatively well stocked and laid out for a relaxing weekend. A good mixture of new and old, as the main heat source is a wood stove but there are electric space heaters to supplement the heat. The bathroom is modern, but you do need to step outside to get access to it. Ian is a fantastic host, and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. I would have no hesitation to go back to Cedarwood and use it for a jumping off point for more adventures in the Mt. Hood wilderness, or just as a getaway from the bustle of the big city.

    Nate2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fun cabin to stay in. There were certain things about this particular rental that were intriguing. We wanted to stay somewhere unique and Cedarwood was a great fit! The simplicity of this rental was one of the draws for us. If you're looking for a place that is secluded and puts you "in the woods" this is a great pick!

    Adam2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I had a fabulous time at this quaint and rustic cabin. Being out amongst the trees really helped me relax. The host is very attentive, and everything is as described.

    Hilary2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Ian's Cedarwood cabin is full of vintage charm! The location is a perfect home base to explore all that Mt. Hood has to offer, and the thoughtful guidebook in the AirBnb will set you in pursuit of hidden gems. As someone who has grown up visiting Mt. Hood, it was a delight to have new recommendations for hidden hikes and waterfalls in the area - a wonderful value of staying in the cabin! The space itself is cozy and rustic, we loved coming home to light a fire in the woodstove to unwind and recharge after a busy day on the mountain. A gem, for sure!

    Hannah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin. Stayed here and had a bluebird day on the mountain.

    Joshua2020-02-03T00:00:00Z

  • Cute little getaway place close to Portland, ideal for a short drive to the mountain. We slept like babies!

    Jason2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I am a Portland resident and wished to get away for a weekend of hiking - away from all the noise of the city and found this beautiful little cottage to be the perfect spot. Somewhat hidden away down a long dead end road - next to flowing water and plenty of greenery. Inside - Barb has provided all the little comforts one is somewhat more inclined to forget - large assortment of teas , coffee , butter .. even bath salts! The place is spotless and very cozy ... even - a wonderful little Fire- Pitt. This place is perfect if one wishes to relax and hike for a few days !

    Olivia2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Barb’s lovely place was relaxing, peaceful, and exceeded our expectations. The tranquil location lends itself to the comfortable feel of the space. Everything was exceptionally clean and the thoughtful touches like epsom salt for the amazing claw foot tub and delicious fresh jam really went above and beyond. Barb was quick to reply and was happy to offer local suggestions for food and exploration. We will certainly be back!

  • Great place! The best Airbnb I've stayed in. Lovely location the river is fabulous. Totally recommended. I hope to stay again and again here. Awesome.

    Jon2019-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was an adorable home, in a great location to come back to after a day of skiing on Mt. Hood. It was well-appointed throughout, and it was obvious that attention has been taken to keep the house clean and well cared-for. We LOVED the location, set back from the road and right on the river, and enjoyed sipping coffee on the rocks in the morning, just enjoying the sounds of nature around us. What a little gem!

  • Stunningly beautiful setting!

    Samuel2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This little cabin was absolutely perfect for my wife and me to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was so peaceful and being right on the river was absolutely gorgeous; I miss it already. The cabin itself is very cute and provides just enough amenities to get by such as a coffee pot, pots/pans, silverware, and some basic spices. It also offers a flatscreen TV which allows you to watch Netflix and Hulu, but it does have to be from your phone or other devices via ChromeCast. This place is truly like staying in an enchanted forest; there are lush ferns and trees surrounding the property making for a very quiet place. We even saw some chickens and a giant banana slug! The hikes around the area are unlike any other and just a short drive down the highway; I would suggest doing the Romona Falls hike, it's long but so worth it! The major grocery stores are quite a ways down the highway in Sandy, but there is a cute little outpost place called Brightwood General Store that is about 5 mins away from the cabin and has all the groceries and other amenities you might need. If you have a night where you want to go out, I HIGHLY suggest Ivy Bear Pizzeria, best pizza I've ever had!!

    Sam2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful river and trees around the home. Very peaceful.

    Teri2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • this place is fantastic. the location is perfect for getting to mt hood national forest, it’s close to welches that has a grocery and restaurants. the river is stunning - and it’s right there. we built fires every night in the firepit while sitting by the fire, there is a sparkling clean gas grill ... seriously though, it is is right on the river and it is so stunning and relaxing. there is a little river pool by the bank that you can sit and play in (would be great for kids to wade in). we saw an eagle one morning, there are chickens across the street that came to play in the front yard (but you don’t hear them). this is a great place for a couple to get away or for a family - just be aware that there is no dishwasher and no washer / dryer. no big deal at all for us, but if you are a family that wants that, the house doesn’t come with it. the house is super cute though, and everything feels clean and well taken care of. very comfortable and stylish! we loved it, and were talking about coming back before we even left.

Be sure to look at the pictures & read our reviews... that provides the most information. Happy Travels!
Our Tree House sits on our 20-acre property at the base of Mt. Hood (about an hour east off downtown Portland - a great city to explore!). We are 30 minutes west of Ski Bowl and the Mt. Hood National Forrest. We are within 30-60 minutes of three Mt. Hood Ski areas. You will ascend a unique spiral staircase up to the Treehouse. The Treehouse is approximately 200 square feet, with an 8'x10' sleeping loft. The main floor has a queen bed, bistro table, reading chair, mini frig, coffee maker, microwave, composting toilet and cold water sink. There is a seating area below the Treehouse as well, so you can sit by a fire and enjoy the outdoors even if it is raining (a good thing in Oregon). Picnic table (not covered) and gas grill (in covered area) are available for your use. If you like camping or backpacking, you will love the treehouse. It is 'Glamping' (Glamorous Camping). If you prefer more amenities (like porcelain toilets and an indoor shower (but there is an OUTDOOR SHOWER with hot water! - *not available when temperatures are below 40 degrees), check out the guest cottage on our property, also listed on AirBnB). This is a unique property, please view "House Rules" prior to booking. This is NOT suitable for children under AGE 7, due to spiral staircase and ladder to the loft. The Magical Treehouse was featured on the BuzzFeed series "HomeBuddies." You can view the episode (and get a great idea of the property) by going to Youtube, use the search terms: "Buzzfeed Homebuddies "I lived in a treehouse". There are multiple episodes and the treehouse is episode 4. The Magical Treehouse was also featured on "TRIP101": Nine Treehouses in Oregon That You Should Book Now. Visit their website to read the article. PLEASE NOTE: Due to both demand and to ensure that each guest gets the full experience of being here (which can't be done in one night), the minimum two-night stay is non-negotiable.
The Neighborhood We are mid-way between Sandy and Welches on the flanks of Mt. Hood. We are six miles from town (Sandy) so it is quiet. Most neighbors have acreage properties. The area is forested and beautiful. There is another "Sweet Mountain Guest Cottage (also listed on AirBnB), a pond cottage(available by request only), and our personal home.
  • This Treehouse is the real deal. We were excited to come check it out for months and it still outpaced our expectations. The hosts were absolutely lovely, easy to communicate with, and provided last minute recommendations about where to check out Mt Hood and do local hiking. The treehouse is an effortless combination of rustic and glamping. Bed is comfortable. You feel as though you are waking up inside the trees and the property is silent at night. There is a gorgeous pond on property with Salmon under the surface. Truly a special place. Lucky they are willing to share it with the world! They have two adorable dogs that accompany you throughout the day and two cats that followed us at night. Can’t speak highly enough of this place!

  • We enjoyed our stay 👍👍

    Brian2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is spectacular! The treehouse was well thought out and is super cozy. Dave and Hollis have a fully stocked Keurig coffee station for your enjoyment as well! Nothing like waking up after the best rest you ever got in any one of the bed options to a quick make cup of coffee to enjoy while you cozy up in the breakfast nook with a fave book, feeling the peace of the forest wash over you. There's a special energy about sleeping in a tree, I must say – one I highly recommend. In addition to that awesomesauce, there is a pond and lots of outdoor games (bball, carpet ball, horseshoes, zip line, etc.) all waiting for you to come and play, PLUS 20 acres of forested trails to stroll. Please do consider the spiral staircase and tight quarters if ease of movement is a concern for you due to physical constraints (including firm sleeping surfaces for those with back support requirements). Various parts of this experience require a bit of limberness and adaptability. It's well worth it if you're able though.

  • This place is well worth the money. Whether you’re going for a romantic getaway, or a family outing, this place has it all. The property is amazing with a pond, walking trails and plenty of activities. Highly recommend this unique experience.

  • Cozy little treehouse set in nature. Even in the end of oct it was kind of chilly but the heater kept us warm. Lots of activities to do in the summertime but we we were still able to feed the fish in the pond, played disc golf, hiked around the property and roasted marshmellows on the fire pit underneath the treehouse.

    Kim2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Avery unique and memorable Air BnB experience!

This is a beautiful, fully equipped guest cottage on an amazing property! It has a double bed in a bedroom, full bath, washer & dryer, kitchenette, a small living room area (with a fold-out sofa bed) and a spiral staircase to an additional sleeping loft. 1/2 hour to skiing in winter, Mt. Hood recreation. Property is great for families too!
This cottage sits on our 20-acre property at the base of Mt. Hood (about an hour east off downtown Portland - a great city to explore!). We are 30 minutes west of Ski Bowl and the Mt. Hood National Forrest. The cottage is approximately 300 square feet, with a small covered porch and fireplace. Private bedroom with full bed, living room with a wood spiral staircase up to a sleeping loft (spiral staircase is not appropriate for small children), a kitchenette with toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and mini refrigerator. There also is a outdoor grill with side burner on the deck. A full bath with the added bonus of a washer/dryer. Great for after a day of travel or playing in the outdoors. Also on the property (and AirBnB) is our Magical Treehouse, if you are feeling adventurous!
We are mid-way between Sandy and Welches on the flanks of Mt. Hood. We are six miles from town (Sandy), in a quiet setting. All neighbors have acreage properties. The area is very forested and beautiful, the cottage and private home sit on about two acres around the pond, and are out from under the trees, so there is plenty of light. There are many activities, so come ready to play or to rest... or both!
  • Nice, small place. As described. Great for our family of three. If you have a fear of dogs, might not be the place for you — the two dogs are eager to greet guests but went away when I shooed them.

  • This was our 3rd year staying at the 20 Acre Wood, and it seems to get better every year.

    Marty2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • My group of 6 rented out the cottage and the treehouse for the weekend and it went above and beyond our expectations. The property has a million different things to do, hiking, row boating, basketball, and the incredibly fun pendulum swing just to name a few. The cabin and the treehouse were both comfortable while still feeling very immersed in nature. If you are even considering renting with Hollis and Dave I wholeheartedly recommend doing it! It truly felt like a magical escape from our busy lives and we are already talking about when we could go back. Wonderful hosts, beautiful land, and an all around fantastic time!

    Emily2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • SO much more than a cottage in the woods. Dave and Hollis' property is a wonderful retreat and such an easy trip from Portland. The pond and amenities were so much fun, and being able to wander around through old growth forest was a huge bonus. The hosts were so kind and accommodating to our special requests, we would be delighted to be invited to stay with them again.

    Adie2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a fun family getaway, this place is magical! It's like summer camp for the whole family with fun games to play together, or just to relax and lounge around the lake. Hollis and Dave are wonderful hosts and their place reflects their welcoming demeanor as they are friendly and relaxed as they make you feel at home.

    Cyndy2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is paradise! Hollis and Dave are delightful hosts. Not only is their cottage situated close to many beautiful hikes but the property itself is a place you can spend several days exploring without ever leaving. Highly recommend the zip line and kayaks as well as the many trails that take you through their own personal forest.

    Peter2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Dave and Hollis were amazing and very accommodating for myself and the family. their property was great with tons of activities for the kids and parents alike...was a great get away from the city. will be back soon!

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of a private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's perfect for group retreats, a family reunion, quick getaways, or a trip to the Mount Hood. It's a quick 20 min drive from Mount hood and only 45 min from PDX. For smaller groups not needing the additional lower level, check out "The Woodlands House" listing here https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21783133
Our home is a restful and relaxing space. The home is filled with vaulted ceilings and a wood-burning fire place on every level. We have furnished the home to feell like a mix of Scandinavian and Mid-Cenutry design, while at the same time having some fun and rustic cabin vibes. The large deck off the main level that overlooks a trickling stream, is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch deer come to the water for a drink. The deck also features a large 6 person hot tub, that is perfect to soak your bones after a day of skiing or hiking.
The neighborhood is tree-filled and very rural, so you probably wont see neighbors as every one pretty much keeps to them selves. There is a chance you could hear some neighbors hanging outside if the weather is nice, but the trees keep the home very private.
  • Absolutely incredible place. The perfect weekend getaway.

    Robyn2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous! The house is even better than the stunning photos online. It was also sparkling and well-stocked.

    Katie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this woodsy getaway! It was perfect for our ski weekend of three families with kiddos. We had plenty of space to play and unwind. The decor is beautiful and cozy! We'll be back for sure!

  • As a group of eight adults (four couples), we really enjoyed our weekend at Rachel and Rico’s cabin. The cabin is the perfect place to getaway and has plenty of room for adults and children. The stylish decor and thoughtful touches make it the ultimate retreat. Our group is already talking about coming back next year—we cannot recommend it enough!

  • We had a wonderful time. The house and setting are beautiful and great for kids.

    Cory2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible house and the best location. Less than an hour from Portland and about 30 minutes to the mountain. Rico is the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. Super kind and responsive. Couldn’t speak more highly of this place 🙌🏼

    Keithen2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The Woodlands house was perfect for our extended family to relax and enjoy each other’s company over the holiday break. The house was even bigger than it looked in photos. We cooked, watched movies, played games, and soaked in the hot tub...it was the perfect break from the city. It was also great for the kids - ages 2 and 5 with a small kid-friendly room and a crib in the Master suite. It was nice and convenient to Portland also also to Mt. Hood for skiing. I’m sure it would be beautiful during the summer as well. Highly recommend!

  • An ideal property for a cozy getaway. This property is incredibly versatile and can easily be enjoyed by friend for a gathering, an intimate getaway or families getting out of town. We traveled with our family of five and were impressed by the functional and stylish layout and decor and were pleasantly surprised to see it is much larger in person. It was the perfect spot for our family to enjoy the snowy backdrop while cooking, enjoying books and playing games. The hosts provide very detailed and accurate driving directions and helpful and clear notes about navigating the home. The home provides a warmth and beauty and is very comfortable. Hosts quickly respond to any inquiries. This property functions as an ideal Airbnb .

  • One of my most favorite Airbnb stays! Hard to get away now that I have a toddler, but the house was completely baby proofed, which made the stay so relaxing! Styled SO well, and in the most beautiful PNW setting. There was a light dusting of snow when we woke up on our last morning, which made things even more magical!

    Maile2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • such a beautiful place to stay in! Seems even bigger in person than from the photos which is incredible!! My fiancé and I spent our anniversary here and it's the perfect little getaway! We were close enough to town to grab food but when you're at the place you can't see or hear the neighbors + the place is truly styled to make you feel at home away from home! Would 13907% recommend their place and will definitely be going back!

    Hannah2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very special house with it’s wonderful location in a magical setting that is so convenient to all the area has to offer. We were there for a Christmas gathering which was so special. We feel it would be great for any time of the year. The house is well appointed, thoughtful layout and the hosts are so quick to respond ...we were very pleased.

  • Had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend with my family! The space was beautifully decorated and was full of all we needed. The roads where a little tough with the cold weather. But would absolutely stay again.

    Aleksandra2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my friends are absolutely OBSESSED with the woodlands house. We had such a great time disconnecting in the woods for the weekend. The house is decorated so beautifully, and it felt so cozy. It is the perfect place to relax, hangout by the fire, play some games, and hangout in the hot tub. We loved it, and definitely are hoping to come back soon :)

    Mariana2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel and Rico's place is incredible. It's a beautiful home on a wooded lot with trails and trees and troves of delightful findings. It was easy to check-in, Rachel and Rico sent detailed instructions and notes a few days before, everything was very clean. Plenty of kitchen staples for cooking. I came here for a solo writing retreat, but can imagine this place being being great for groups as well.

  • Lovely quirky place! Very thoughtful amenities with fireplace (wood available) and games for all ages. So peaceful to either sit outside and hear the river flowing or be inside with the windows open to wake up to wonderful sound. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to main road. Due note the backyard is not completely fenced in to allow your dog to roam free. Still enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again!

    Hillary2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious place, great location. Close to local attractions and beautiful scenic view from the backyard. Overall was a great place to stay.

    Stephan2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot - close to tons of amazing hikes and local restaurants. Stone steps (steep but workable) all the way to the right of then fence will take you down to the river (we spent a couple hours clearing them off during our stay so the next visitors should have an easy walk down). Recommend sleeping on the futon rather than upstairs bed if it's just a solo couple staying bc it's SOOOOO comfortable. Love the fireplace and coziness.

There is a foosball table in the entry room w/ futon bed. Dogs are allowed with a pet fee of $50 per pet. No puppies.
This home has an open floor plan and nice size bedrooms. Great hiking near by and lots of water nearby.
Very quiet location with spread out neighbors. Sits against a mountain and close to the river.
  • Spacious house that shares walls with the house next door. Everything worked well and it was very clean. The double bed next to the bunks is only for kids, but other beds very solid. Host is responsive and helpful. Definitely met our needs.

  • Quiet, mountain setting home with hot tub! The unit is adjoined to another one so you will occasionally see your neighbors or their kids playing pool.

    Sheyna2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The space is large and bedrooms compartmented which was great for a family with two toddlers. The two bathrooms are on the first floor but wasn’t a problem.

  • This is a beautiful house for a small to medium size group of people! We were worried about the size of the house, but is bigger than what it looks like in the pictures. Has a good amount of kitchen space and was very clean. The house is attached to another unit but you would not be able to tell. There is a dividing space in between both of them. Would definitely recommend!

  • I’m pretty sure this log cabin was built by someone’s industrious Grandpa. It has so much character in all the right ways. Loved it.

  • The pictures online do not do the place justice. It was a lot more spacious than we anticipated and the neighborhood was quiet. Great after a long day of skiing.

  • When you rent this place rent both sides all 6 beds and 4 baths. It’s in the perfect spot. The whole thing was a great place to stay

  • Deona was a fabulous host with quick responses and a very clean home. We didn’t realize when we booked that the house is essentially two units linked together by an enclosed area in the middle that houses the hot tub and a fooseball table - but this worked out great for our large group as it gave us space to do our own thing whenever needed throughout the weekend. Location was perfect for getting up to Timberline, Meadows and Cosmic Tubing for some fun in the snow!

  • Spectacular fire place and kitchen / dining area, perfect for a family or friend gathering. Perfectly clean home, and private view of the creek. Great deck for warm weather. We were there in rainy cold weather and it’s still a beautiful setting. Lots of amenities in the kitchen.

    Elizabeth2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Danielle's cabin was even better than we expected. We had 7 adults and had plenty of room for games, preparing meals, and spending downtime alone for the buzz of the group. The cabin is spacious, clean, and tucked away in a serene space. Falling asleep with the sound of the creek in the background was lovely. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, which was very helpful. A great trip, and we already can't wait to come back!

  • We spent a week with our family at this beautiful home that is on the river. Amazing fireplace, comfortable beds and a kitchen that is well appointed if your cooking on your stay. Chris was an attentive host who made us feel very welcome. Just a short drive to the snow and if your up for activities majestic Mt Hood is not far away. Would definitely recommend!

  • House could not be in a more beautiful location. Good place to get away from people and relax.

    Allison2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • We truly enjoyed our time and hope to return again! Chris was an excellent host and provided very detailed directions, made sure we arrived okay, gave instructions about the house and was very kind to make sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is amazing and was so very comfortable and clean. The scenery and sounds of the river were so peaceful and relaxing, we really didn't want to leave. There is plenty to do and see in the area and the property has so much to offer, it was perfect for us. We checked out alot of different homes but were so happy that we chose this one for our vacation. Thanks again Chris!

    Robin2019-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • This home far exceeds even moderate expectations. From the point you enter the beautiful front door, you’re greeted by the powerful, yet calming Sandy River. The beautifully serene location was the perfect stay for our large family vacation. Chris was very prompt with guidance and availability from our initial conversation. He provided great information and advice about the local and coastal areas. His recommendations, accommodations, and willingness to provide a wonderful stay, did exactly that!

    Vicki2019-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at the River house. Communication and check in were quick and easy. The kitchen is well stocked and the house is well setup for just hanging out and relaxing. The house is very close to the river which is awesome. The photos do not do it justice. Beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. We would definitely recommend it!
