“Shopping: If you want to combine a beach holiday with a shopping trip, Marbella is an excellent choice. Between Marbella town and Puerto Banus you have an impressive mix of independent boutiques, luxury brands and international Spanish high street brands, such as Zara and Mango. The luxury Puerto Banus is crammed with designer boutiques, if you have a few hundred pounds to spend on a tshirt, bikini or pair of shoes, then this is the place to shop. If you’re looking for something a little more unique, then Marbella Old Town is a good shopping destination and La Cañada Shopping Centre on the highway above Marbella, is home to chain stores, boutiques, supermarkets, DIY stores. Here you’ll find the largest Apple store in Spain, Habitat and Marks & Spencer! ”

“Lidl in Elviria is great on price and its vegetable selection is especially strong. It is right next door to one of Spain's largest supermarket chains, Mercadona, so it's a great opportunity to be able to visit both supermarkets and cover all your needs and price points. It is usually open weekdays and Saturday from 9am to 9:30pm but hours vary during the summer months and festivals days. ”

“La Cañada is our main shopping centre/mall and once you're down the mountain and in Elviria, it's just another 10 minutes along the main road. LC offers everything from a large hypermarket to all your high street shops like Zara, Mango, Sephora, Stradivarius, H&M, Marks & Spencer, and so many more. It also has an Apple store, a home improvement store called Leroy Merlin, a large electronics store called Worten and many cafés and restaurants including Costa and McDonalds. ”

Market
“Mondays (8am to 2pm) The original! This is the one that started them all and it's Marbella's main one. Here you can find a little bit of everything so be prepared to do a lot of walking, a lot of "excuse mes" and people bumping because it gets crowded, especially in the summer months. Dress in comfy shoes, dress lightly and remember to bargain. This market has a much wider selection of fruits and vegetables and flowers so perhaps not so interesting for tourists but it's big so there are plenty of stalls offering shoes, bags, clothes, souvenirs etc that would be exactly what you'd be looking for. Welcome to the Marbella Market! ”
