Gerardo's decorated his place very artistically with bright colors and many paintings. We were allowed to use the well equipped kitchen but we only ate outside. The bed is big and everything's good. We got to listen to a lot of flamenco music with Gerardo. There is a terrace with really good view. But it's been raining these days so it's a little bit cold. It would be perfect it you visit in summer. Gerardo was very kind that he let us to check in really early. We had to use the internet shared by his mobile phone.... but it's fine because he's always there(as well as his phone).

Gerardo was a Fantastic host, having a WONderful terrace view of Madrilenean rooflines, and his apartment is a Great location for a walkabout Meandering around local life.

Pleasant, quiet, comfortable, cozy one-bedroom apartment in a nice (non-touristy) location that is still close to most sights and the metro. Note that there is no elevator and about 60 stairs. Rosa is pleasant and responsive. Ride to/from airport option was appreciated.

Small but great apartment in a terrific location! Rosa and Jose were great hosts and very helpful. A bit tight for a family of 5, but we knew that would be the case. Really felt like locals living off the main tourist path, but easy to find groceries, restaurants, etc. We didn't take the subway but very easy access from apt. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a great time in this apartment in Madrid. We've stayed here for two days, and its perfect situated in the center of the city. Close to Plaza Major, and also walking distance to other activities and sightseeings. The apartment has everything you need, and communication with Rosa went very smooth. We really liked staying here, and for sure we'd love to come back some time.

This apartment located in the heart of Madrid was perfect for my recent 3-day stay! Rosa is a delightful person and she was very helpful. While it might seem small when you first arrive, the apartment worked perfectly for me and my friend - it would comfortably accommodate three persons. The facilities are very modern. The bathroom has an excellent shower and a lovely heater for cool mornings. The kitchen has great modern appliances, including a clothes washer. Only the small two-burner electric stove top was a bit disappointing for meals I wanted to cook while there. The wi-fi worked perfectly and we were even able to watch DVDs we were carrying with us from the States. All the major museums are only a few Metro stops away or at most a 17 minute walk. Two Metro stops for different lines are located near the apartment. Nearby streets provide access to great fresh foods, wines and cheeses. We enjoyed fresh croissants each morning with our scrambled eggs. The nearby plazas, such as Tirso de Molina, have lovely cafes that serve great daily fixed price menus. While the neighborhood is of mixed nationality and ethnicity, we felt safe at all times and people were very friendly.

The apartment was also conveniently located, and we could travel by foot to the nearby attractions. Alternatively, with the metro just a stone's throw away, it was easy to get to various places using the public transport too! Highly recommended to stay here if you are coming to Madrid!

Location is really central. The apartment is quiet, clean, and convenient. Very nice place, just feel like home! Mare was very considerate, she even prepared some extra power plugs in the living room, for people coming from other continents. Maré is a pleasant, helpful host. Apartment is in great location, right in the center, it is well-equipped and designed. The only downer is the noise, as the room faces inside patio and, in summer, all windows are open, so you hear everything what goes on at neighbours'. However, this can be easily solved with a pair of earplugs. On the other hand, bed is very comfortable and other facilities are of high standard. Would definitely come back.

Location is great, Puerta del sol and the sol station are about 6 minutes walking distance. You can get a train to anywhere from sol station including the "cercanias" trains that get you to the outer towns of Madrid. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable, and good internet as well. Even though I didn't get the chance to speak with Mare much she was very friendly during the checkin time.

Isabel is the best, the apartment is super clean, great located, there's coffee,tea,milk,olive oil,pasta and more available in the kitchen what was very handy for us when we came back late. Recommending for sure

We stayed here for five nights and were very happy with it. The apartment is clean and nice, with the perfect amount of space for two people. Coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper, dishware, and other amenities were provided. The apartment is right off Calle Toledo, a happening street but less touristy than much of Madrid. It is a fairly short walk to La Latina Metro, and Sol and Calle Atocha are walkable from the apartment. The host was very communicative and responded quickly. She gave us a tour with all the information we needed upon arrival and provided recommendations and information on nearby restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly stay there again.

The flat was well equipped, it was just what we needed, in an area alive. The door of the shower was broken, but appart from that, everything was perfect !

Isabel was the best host that i've ever had since i'm using Airbnb services. The place was indeed very clean and cozy, the surroundings really nice and also close to the main attractions.

Isabel is a kind person. And her son is too. But we had some problems and satisfactions. Let me explain the problems. First she sent me a sms and write all of the rules etc. That message was correct but in her airbnb page there was a wrong adress number (her other apt.) and she did a mistake and gave us wrong apartment. This mistake cost us about 1.30 hours and plus 1.5 km walking. When i wanted to take a shower, hot water changed to cold and i caught a cold because of that (i think hot water store finished but that was so early). And the shower cabin was broken, so bathroom got wet. And we had coffee and tea for free but we didnt have neither teapot, nor kettle. And the most important thing is we stayed there for 2 days and the first evening we called her, she restricted the phone calls(thats what vodafone girl said). And then that evening we sent 2 messages to her and she didnt reply until the day when we check out. The message says: (in spanish by the way, unfortunately she cant speak english at all but her son can) i lost my phone and i am reading you from computer bla bla. I really dont know if its true or not but if it is, she can reply from her computer faster i think. And she can tell us the situation a little bit earlier. Are good things happened? Of course. That was a nice and cozy apartment. And we couldnt find a dust in it. There was 3 beers, ketchup, 4 portion of strawberry jams and a lot of butter for our service. Also we used the washing machine and that helped a lot. But the most important thing for us is a big glass of jelly gums(sorry for my bad english). Also that was the same apartment in the photos of course. Heating is with 2 ac. And that is so much for this apartment be sure of that.

Lovely, spacious apartment at a perfect location. The room was small, but what do you need more space for when there's a great city outside? The bathroom was very clean, but the hot water boiler empties rather quickly. Carlos is a very friendly and helpful host. We loved our stay!

We had an excellent stay in Carlos's appartment! Although the room itself is a bit small, is has everything you need. Two decent beds, a closet, and even a television. The apparment is very conveniently located, close to all the gorgeous tapas bars of La Latina, a 10-15 minute walk to Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real, Plaza del Sol, etc. The apparment is very spacious and has a well-equipped kitchen, whicj you can use. And everything (our room, bathroom, kitchen) was spotless! Carlos was very welcoming: giving us clear instructions how to get to the apparment, welcoming us when we arrived, providing us with great suggestions on which places to visit. And although he was on holiday most of the time we were there, he made sure everything was perfect. When he was away, his cousin stayed in the house and made sure everything was right in order. He also gave us his telephone number, in case there was anything wrong. All in all, an excellent experience, in a great centrally located apartment with very welcoming host! Would certainly recommend!

Alfredo's place is perfect for a solo traveler who wants to stay near the Prado and Atocha railway station. It is right on the main street near the metro, so the location is perfect. The neighborhood is also nice, with many cute stores, cafes and restaurants on the back road nearby. Alfredo was very nice, and he was good with communicating while I was arriving.

I don't need another words to explain. Awesome. He was funny and kind. Plus the price of the room was quite reasonable if you think about the location and sevices. I strongly recommand if you stay in madird, you should book this apt.

I could only spend a night in Madrid but it was a great experience at Alfredos! He was very welcoming and helpful! He knew a lot about the city and places to go. The room was perfect! It offered privacy and was everything I needed. The bathroom also came fully stocked which is a bonus! Cold medication and aspirin! I'd fully recommend staying here!
