“Castillo's serves authentic Mexican food that is hard to beat! Holly (owner) runs a nice clean restaurant and my husband has a soft spot (no pun intended!) for the Chicken Chimichanga. If you are like me, the chips and salsa tell the true tale of a good Mexican food restaurant and these won't disappoint!”

“Good breakfasts. Portions are BIG. The restaurant will let you split one entree between two people. That makes this a very affordable breakfast place. ”

Bar
“A fun greasy spoon cafe in the morning. It is one of the oldest bars in California, not sure if that is why they seem grandfathered out of smoking regulations. Lots of odd local and historical memorabilia around. Caution: you will probably emerge from your experience smelling like a cigarette. It can get more dynamic as a major stopover for caravans of bikers and other types of ‘vehiclers’ in the afternoon. At night, sometimes they have live music and who know what will go down?”

Sports Bar

“The absolute best Tri-Tip sandwich you'll ever have. Come here to watch a game, have a beer and eat the best food in town. The seating is first come first serve, it gets busy so smaller groups are better however, if you have a larger group there is an outside area to sit in as well. ”
