  • I enjoyed my stay. The house was perfect. I plan on coming back in the spring when it's warmer. A cute place to stay for sure.

  • Kelly's place is perfect, she really did think of everything. Her guidebook has awesome food suggestions. Her place is clean, bright, and in a great location to easily get around. We walked there from the train station when we came to town. The kitchen has what you need if you want to prepare a meal. Kelly is an excellent communicator, I never felt left in the lurch when I had a question, she was so quick to respond. I would recommend her place--absolutely!

    Leslie2017-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • I would stay at Kelly's spot anytime in ABQ - so perfect. Booked day of and could have arrived 20 mins or less later. Great location, cleanliness, communication, info, accuracy and everything else. Thanks for being an amazing 5 ️ host of your 5 ️ spot!

    Josh2017-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly's place was awesome! Everything was as pictured and then some. Be careful with the hammock if you're plus sized though, it might fight you. Other than that, the stay was pleasant. She thought of almost everything you might forget. Not much outside noise, but she also keeps ear plugs in one of the night stands just in case. Within walking distance to some really cool bars and restaurants/cafes. I would definitely stay here again!

    Emily2016-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for three weeks to be near family that live in the neighborhood & had a very pleasant stay. I could walk to many places including excellent restaurants, especially the Grove, plus a wonderful dry cleaner, Route 66. Although I never met her, Kelly was very welcoming & quick to respond before/during my stay and very attentive with any requests. Her arrival instructions were easy to follow. The studio is well equipped & beautifully decorated in edgy but comfortable style. Separate building & entrance allowed privacy but still closeby.

    Marta McBride2016-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kellys place is so thoughtfully set up. everything you could possibly need and more. welcoming, homey, comfortable and in a great location. loved it!

    Stephanie2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place close to everything downtown and Nob Hill. Would highly recommend. It was clean, cozy and nicely appointed with everything you could need. Nice front and back porches. Only regret is that we only stayed 1 night. Thanks!

    Vince2016-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • I've never used airbnb before, but because of how amazing this place is, I feel like my standards will forever be too high. Everything clean. Supplies for all situations (floss, tampons, Q-tips etx), and beautiful decor. The memory foam mattress was quite nice! We won't need the food, but it's so awesome to have yogurt, coffee, cream, and a number of other food items. Best part about this place was that it was walking distance from down town! You won't be disappointed to stay here. Cheers!

  • Always a great experience.

My house is quiet, clean and close to the albuquerque convention center, old town plaza, and the New Mexican museum of art. I have two queen beds both with brand new mattresses. the couch is fair game for an extra person to crash.
    It's serene, clean, and comfortable.
My neighborhood is great, it is quiet but close to many amenities and local attractions. Old town , downtown, the Albuquerque Bio-park, Art Museum, Aquarium, Rio grande nature center, Boiler Monkey coffee, Slate Street Cafe and Tiguex park are nearby. There are also three very good breweries nearby: Tractor brewing, Marble brewery, and Bow and Arrow brewing, all are within walking distance of the house.
  • Having the house well-stocked was nice. Tub was backed up so we couldn't use it. Washer and dryer is a combo so it took about ten hours to do one load. Wouldn't have felt safe arriving late at night if I was a single woman alone, glad my husband was there. Once we were inside I felt safe. Everything was good, love the kitchen area.

    Brittany2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a lovely little house! The accommodations had everything you could possibly need and lots of little things you might want (a bowl of chocolates that also contained the wifi password). Would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Albuquerque!

    Molly2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew's place was clean and comfortable. His two bedrooms worked out perfectly for two couples. The place was even equipped with some basic breakfast food for the following morning. We only stayed one night before heading out early the next morning towards Santa Fe. Great value for the money :)

    Maria2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew's place was a great little spot to rest after a 12 hour road trip. It was easy to get to from the freeway, and a nice little house to stay in.

    Joe2017-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew's place is a great value! Was pretty easy to find, and had good private parking. The neighborhood is clearly moving from a not so good to a better neighborhood- felt safe, but I wouldn't say friendly. The house is quaint, all the amenities you would need, including many ORGANIC snacks! The home was very clean, though the tub is on the older side. Matthew has movies and wifi, all with clear directions on how to use. The single window unit doesn't cool off much more than the dining room and hallway, but fans are provided in both rooms, making the heat a little more tolerable. I would stay here again, as the price is unbeatable for the great host and amenities included.

    Whitney2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew's house is good value for the money and as described. Fenced in yard is good if you are travelling with dogs. All the basics for a stay are provided.

    Carolyn2017-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • We really appreciated being able to stay in a quaint and quiet place, and being allowed to have our dog with us. The kitchen was well-equipped, and my husband availed himself of the DVD viewing selections.

  • Danielle is a very accommodating host. I had an incredibly comfortable stay. In fact, I can't think of any gripes at all.

    Scott2013-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Danielle's home was great. She was out of town for the week with her family, but left everything in perfect condition for us to arrive. She had clean towels, muffins in the freezer, and a nice clean bed. Our stop in Albuquerque was very short and we were exhausted after spending the whole day in the sun, but she was able to make it comfortable without even being there. I would definitely recommend staying with Danielle!

    Ashley2013-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great room & house! I stayed here for a very brief overnight stop on a road trip - I slept great and really appreciated Danielle's thoughtfulness and accommodations. Thanks!!!

    Jessie2014-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Danielle was super welcoming and accommodating. Her step-son Jarryn was also the perfect host during my stay. The room was welcoming, cozy (as described), and clean. Great natural sunlight in the morning on a quiet block for a restful evening. The fresh eggs and well-appointed kitchen were a great bonus! The water softener and thermostat controlled shower were the icing on the cake. I highly recommend any of the rooms at Danielle's for the wary traveler. The house is a short 12 minutes to the airport!

    Cynette2016-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The host was very friendly and accommodating. I chose this location because of the overwhelming number of positive reviews, and found those positive reviews were very justified. I threw out the two negative reviews because everybody occasionally had a bad day, and shouldn't take that out on this host. It was a very convenient location for everything I wanted to do. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone passing through, or staying in Albuquerque!

    Art2015-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Danielle and her family was a very wonderful experience. We felt very at home in a way that allowed us to travel and go out and about as we pleased but also had the opportunity to visit with fellow guests and Danielle's sweet family. Danielle made us DELICIOUS Dutch pancakes and provided me with a recipe to take home, as well! Overall, we had a wonderful time staying with Danielle and her family.

    Sara2014-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect at Danielle's. She was really nice and accommodating, and cooked us a delicious breakfast ! Plus, we got to hold baby bunnies !!!!!!!

  • Danielle and William were great hosts. I arrived late due to a long drive and they were cheerful and welcoming and wanted to hear about my trip. The next morning, Danielle gave me coffee, offered some breakfast, and was kind enough to offer to let me leave some of my luggage while I went to meet a friend for brunch. Their home is relaxed and comfortable and the bedroom cozy and clean. Loved the kitties they were fostering as well. Hopefully I will have a chance to stay again on my return trip ...

This bed has a memory foam topper on the mattress. This can feel either delightfully soft and comfy, or painfully soft and squishy. It is a function of the topper, not the bed. :)
  • Wes is so nice, we arrived one hour late but he didn't blame us. His instructions are very clear, we can get everything easily.

    Lily Ling Yi2017-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing home. Amazing people. Wesley was really co operating. Provided my problems I had getting to the place. I would certainly recommend staying here. I would stay here one more night if I had the time.

  • Kathy's place is lovely and spacious. It is a 5 minute drive off the freeway which was great given that I was road tripping. The housing complex seems to be relatively new. The bedroom and bathroom were well stocked, and she has gone out of her way to provide info pamphlets about the city and beyond. Kayla is managing communication/guest arrival and she was extremely responsive and made it easy to settle in and check out.

This Casita stands alone behind the main house and offers complete privacy with a fully equipped kitchenette, a full bath, a separate bedroom, hardwood floors and the charm of its unique locale and history. Our casita is in it's own private world - away from all the traffic and noise of the world and yet blocks from some of Albuquerque's best offerings. Guests have access to a spacious back yard with chairs, umbrella, picnic table and fire pit. We will be available as much or as little as the guest(s) prefers. We love to interact and help our guests have the best time possible here in ABQ. We are close to everything - Old Town, Downtown, museums, Tiguex Park, coffee shops and restaurants. This is a wonderful neighborhood.
The neighborhood is a family-place, with two delicious restaurants, a coffee house, and a tea house within a block or two of the Casita. We are also within walking distance to a wonderful park, three of Albuquerque's best museums, Old Town and a wonderful neighborhood grocery store. You'll love this area!
  • I only stayed one night but the Casita was great. I didn't meet Shelley and Kirk but the communication was great and I had everything I needed to make myself at home for the night. The Casita was exactly as advertised in a great neighborhood near many bars and restaurants. I'd definitely recommend Shelley and Kirk.

  • We had a lovely stay at the Casita! If you're unfamiliar with Albuquerque, you might be a bit disoriented when you first drive in. But keep going! The Casita is wonderful and Shelly and Drake are very helpful! We were able to walk to downtown as well as walk to old town. The location is great. I would stay at the Casita again for sure! Two thumbs up!

Country feel on two acres but close to everything! Choose from two different rooms or a 500 square foot art studio with a loft. A sculptor, Ed Haddaway's home. Swimming pool and hot tub. A cat and dog roam the property. Dog friendly.
  • Barbara and Ed were like fun interesting relatives that you look forward to visiting. Their place is old but it's clean and comfortable. The morning coffee is good and strong! Everyone shares 1 full bath but it works with 1/2 bath options available. The pool is lovely and clean, better than many hotel pools. Don't be put off by the cover. It rolls off easily. There's a sweet dog and cat, lots of stuff: artwork, books, plants. It's close to Old Town, museums, restaurants, but you'll need a car. We had a great time there. Would definitely go back.

    Teresa2015-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • We were so pleased when we pulled into Barbara and Ed's eclectic driveway- many fun, large sculptures (made by Ed) and cute RV's, and lots of fun antiques including a train car. We were welcomed by Barbara and her adorable dog, and she immediately offered us beer and wine (!). After a long drive it was just what we needed. Our room was cozy and inviting, the house is SO VERY COOL. Very eclectic. She suggested a delicious restaurant, then we got right in the hot in when we got back! She had croissants, coffee, and tea waiting for us in the morning. We wish we had more time here, we'd love to visit again!

    Nina2015-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Ed and Barb's cozy home was the perfect place for my quick night away. They were welcoming, thoughtful, and kind. I'll definitely stay with Ed and Barb again.

    William2016-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara and Ed were exceptional hosts and made sure all my needs were met during my long term stay. The house is beautiful and decorated with their own personal outwork. They welcomed me and my two cats with open arms and their pets Dudley and Charlie got along with my cats surprisingly well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Albuquerque whether it be long term or just one night.

    Brianna2017-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara was a very considerate host and made me feel at home. Theirs dogs were friendly, their other guests were so fun and chatty. I stayed in the teapot room and the bed and accommodations were fantastic. Barbara's suggestions to visit were extremely helpful and rewarding. I recommend staying here for a low-key, relaxing time.

    Grace2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay if they're in the Albuquerque area

    Lizzie2017-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • My stay with Barbara and Ed was brief, but one of my most enjoyable stays with Airbnb. The room was exactly as described and very clean, and the location down the street from Old Town makes it easy to go to restaurants and shops. Barbara, Ed, Dudley (their dog), and their cat were all very welcoming. If you are in Albuquerque, be sure to stay here, it is an absolute delight!

    Robert2015-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • For me this place will forever be cherished as my “Good Night, Moon” experience (You remember; that wonderful Margaret Wise Brown book from childhood!?!). Enchantment greeted from the moment we (my daughter and I) turned off the main road, through the gate and into the property. Ed’s impish sculptures delight, fancifully enticing you into the magic along the drive into the deep lot, past the blue child’s swing hanging in the old sentinel tree, and back toward the grand old house. Barbara greeted us like one’s best old girlfriend from high school and welcomed us into their home. Dudley, the totally cool resident dog, and his compatriot, Charlie the cat, lazed around in the pools of sunlight pouring into community spaces filled with whimsey, waving us in with the languishing sweep of his tail in recognition of the new pack members for the night (or two). The dignified old architecture, designed for gracious family living, is filled with quiet, fanciful humor and coziness. Lots of leafy wood and adobe openness studded with stained glass windows, comfortable old antiques and embedded couches slipped on around us like my favorite (many times repaired) old boots. We were back in time, nurtured into the best nostalgia of the proverbial ‘old neighborhood’. We were introduced to to a fabulous (as it turned out -sorry, they don’t come with the place) family from St. Paul who were taking the loft house (Barbara’s old converted art studio). We all settled into the lazy comfort of the generously provisioned back porch where filled wine glasses accentuated lively conversation and some pretty dazzling good magic tricks performed by Ben, the teenaged son of the ‘loft’ family. By that time, Mary Lou, the ‘back gate’ neighbor who stops by with all sorts of terrific ‘girlfriend’ talk had checked into the chatter. The rather spontaneous evening was off and running. At the request of the kids, we went far into the evening around a campfire with some-mores, banjo and guitar music with fabulous vocals provided by my daughter and the itinerant handyman, Tim. By evening’s end Ben and his quixotic sister, Katherine, had tutored us in all the possible variations of roasting a marshmallow, making us experts. Gooey. Loveliness. I usually bring in the dawn. So the next morning, after a terrific night’s sleep (didn’t wake up for a solid eight hours) I slipped with my coffee out into the backyard (still in pajamas, w/poncho) to sit under a tree by the birdbath and watch the light expand over the mountains. To my left was a wisteria covered gate, it’s arch and fencing designed by Barbara from old gnarly limbs. It led to the pool and jacuzzi area. Behind me a Christmas snowman peered out at me from the dusty window of an old weather beaten, vine covered shed. To my right was an antique Victorian birdcage dressed in a fresh coat of white against an ancient juniper fence and old tree roots. I felt nestled into Eugene Smith’s famous...

  • I also am a airbnb owner, I recently had a minor construction project at my home and had to spend the night out of my home. Barb's airbnb was nearby and I decided to spend the night there. Barb's room was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The room had it's own entrance and had a very private feel to it. Barb was accessible and let me know that she was available if anything was needed. She lives in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. I definitely would recommend staying here for anyone looking to stay in the area! Great price for what you get :)

  • Has a mini fridge, tv/wifi, private entrance and with private bath. Had everything we needed and extremely comfortable! Amazing value and Barbara was a wonderful host. We booked on short notice and were so happy to find such a nice room. If we go back to New Mexico, we will be wanting to rent from Barbara again.

  • Barb is a wonderful host, very friendly and welcoming. I arrived amidst really bad weather and her house was a wonderful oasis of calm for me to escape the days trials. Very comfortable bed and private bathroom facilities. Some nice touches, theres coffee making facilities and bottled water in the fridge. I would highly recommend Barb as a host as it represents the absolute best value for money I have seen....worth so much more. Roy

  • Karen's place is wonderful! She was a great host that was accommodating. I would highly recommend her place!

  • Fabulous casitas. I highly recommend it!

  • We had such a good time staying at Karen's casita. It was comfortable and perfectly located (within walking distance) to nearby restaurants, bars, and museums. Karen was very accommating and gave us great food recommendations. We'd highly recommend staying here while in Albuquerque

  • Great place to stay. It was close to everything we wanted.

    Stephanie2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was such an adorable place. The decor is really cute and the place has everything you need. Special shout-out to the incredibly comfortable and huge bed. My wife and I slept so well!

  • This is a beautifully designed home, attractive, modern and clean. Karen was a kind and helpful host

  • I've stayed at a ton of Airbnbs and this was one of the best! Great location, beautiful space, thoughtful added touches like a variety of tea and bath salts. The decor was lovely and the bed was huge and super comfy. Very walkable neighborhood, but also quiet and residential. Check in was super easy, communication was great, recommendations were appreciated- overall a fantastic stay!

    Sabrina2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Can I live here?! Karen and Ed have created a lovely, modern, beautifully-decorated space that is a little private oasis in the middle of downtown Albuquerque. The casita has everything you could need - a private patio, king-size bed, TV and tons of movies, a kitchen, an awesome bathtub, and a pretty big closet. It's a short walk to Central/Route 66 and therefore lots of restaurants and bars, and a short drive to the majority of Albuquerque's Old Town and non-downtown attractions. It's a convenient location, but you couldn't tell you were downtown because it was so quiet. They also had a bike for guest use, which we unfortunately didn't get to try out. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a classy, central place to stay.

We aim to please our guests so if you need anything that isn't listed, we will be happy to try to get it for you. * Full Kitchen (stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, cook/bake ware) * Coffee and Tea (Keurig coffee machine, herbal tea bags) * Breakfast ingredients (bacon, eggs, bread, etc) * Secure, covered, off-street Parking (shared carport with us) * Private courtyard * TV with Netflix and Hulu Plus * Wi-Fi * Adult coloring books and gel pens (RELAXING!) * Full, CLEAN bathroom * Toiletries (in case you leave anything behind) * Fresh, clean linens and towels * Large closet w/ dresser and hangers for storing luggage
We are locating in Albuquerque's historic Huning Highlands District. It is a part of the East Downtown (EDO) neighborhood. While close to downtown, Nob Hill, UNM, restaurants, etc, our casita is like a quiet retreat. *** Please NOTE: This is an amazing up and coming, historic neighborhood located near downtown and is close to everything. This is, however, a neighborhood in transition. The alley used to access the apartment is, well, an alley (similar to those you would find in the downtown area of any city. The alley and a few of the homes in the neighborhood may look a little dicey but it is not something to be concerned with. Knowing the area and the neighborhood, I personally feel very safe while walking alone or with my small children. If you have any safety concerns (about the neighborhood or city in general) during your stay, please contact me right away. *** Just a few blocks away is the amazing Grove Cafe that was voted Best Brunch in Albuquerque.
  • Great host and perfect spot near downtown Albuquerque! Just what my boyfriend and I needed on our road trip from TX to CO!

    Erica2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This casita was a great stay for a quick weekend in Albuquerque. The location is ideal for getting to some cool spots in Albuquerque, including all the stores along Nob Hill (check out Empire board game library!). Lacy's check-in process is SO easy and convenient! The casita is down a small side-street and has its own gate, making it feel very private. The casita itself is a cool, studio-style space with a TV and Roku, Wifi, and the basics for a quick stay. We enjoyed our stay, thanks Lacy!

    Samantha2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Easy check in/check out. Quiet! I'm a light sleeper and this place was great. Very comfortable, everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and plenty of amenities including covered parking. Good water pressure in shower. Would stay here again.

    Jenny2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I were so impressed by this lovely casita, it was all the things you'd hope for for an overnight stay! It was cute, clean, and extremely convenient to get to from the freeway. Lacey was kind and accommodating, even providing extra space heaters for us in case we got cold. Definitely will be stopping by again when we are in the area!

    Tayler2016-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Out of the two places we stayed, this was our favorite! Very clean, easy to find what you need, and friendly host! We highly recommend Lacy's casita!

    Lee2016-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lacys place was wonderful! Super clean, central to downtown and the Plaza, and nicely put together. She was very responsive and also checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed once we arrived. The bed was cozy, and she had everything you would need for a couple day stay. She even had a cookie waiting for us from a local bakery. I also loved that she has secure parking for guests. I would stay at her place again in a heartbeat!

    Katie2016-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great host. Will stay again when in town next.

    Mitchell2017-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • I was extremely comfortable in the casita. I also liked the carport, shaded my car on very hot days. Also very close to Old Town, 10 minute drive. Lacy was very attentive in asking if I needed anything via text.

  • Barbara was a very welcoming host and the trailer was clean and exactly as advertised. The coffee and croissants in the mornings were a nice touch.

    Bryan2015-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in Barbara's adorable trailer! It was perfect for our one night stay in Albuquerque. The camper is cozy and the bed is very comfortable! We enjoyed the coffee, the croissants, and visiting with Barbara in the morning.

    Michelle2017-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! What a great stay. My dog and I stayed here for a night on our way back to St. Louis from California. After a long day of driving, being welcomed by Barbara and Ed at their charming home was more than we could have asked for. She immediately offered me a drink when I got there and had coffee and a fresh, warm chocolate croissant ready for me before I left early the next morning. The trailer I stayed in was super cozy and clean and exactly what I needed. I hope to visit again someday in the future! Highly recommend.

  • If you want something you won't remember in a week, a month, a year, go to a hotel. If you want an eclectic experience you'll treasure forever, book this!! This artsy, hippie, peaceful get a way is everything but ordinary. The art and atmosphere is amazing. The hosts are genuine, beautiful souls. They will try to make everything, start to finish, perfect for you. Did I mention the piping hot croissants and welcoming wine? And that's just the beginning!

    Debbie2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • My stay was fun and a bit of an adventure. Loved most of it. I stayed in the smaller kit camper which is very rustic. It felt foreign to stay and have everything open with no lock and key...but it totally works and all was safe and sound. Although I had a very full agenda while visiting ALB, Barbara and the other guests were the best part of my stay!

    Dayna2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • First off overall a very great stay at Barbara's place. The bed was super comfortable and the a.c. unit is great for people that like to sleep at their own preferred temp. Just enough for two people and maybe a small child if small enough to fit in bed. Plenty room for luggage and whatever you need to bring in. Only downside is there's not many outlets so if you need to charge a lot of things at once you may need to speak to Barbara but I'm sure you could bring or borrow a extension cord. I was able to speak personally with Barbara but I know her and her husband both are really nice people and their dog is great too. The croissant and coffee for breakfast was tasty and overall a great stay! Just make sure of you check in late pay attention to what your trailer looks like in the pics because they have three trailers on the lot and I accidentally walked into someone else's and woke them up in fear. Anyways great place to stay for a good price.

    Jake2017-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • We love the place so much! So cozy and comfy. Both Ed and Barbara are awesome in accommodating our stay and make sure we can experience the most out of our visit. Thank you so much!!!

    Thao2017-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • The entrance has lots of art and that was great, as I was in Albuquerque for an art related convention . There was some great art in the house too, everywhere! The house was open and available at all hours. The pool looked inviting but I only utilized the hot tub. The dogs might make noise but they are harmless. They were fun.

  • nice basic clean great location. Alexandra made the whole process very smooth and we were happy with the place.

    Marjorie2016-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Pretty accurate depiction of apartment. Clean dishes provided and nice linens! But I did see a tiny roach and bug in the kitchen the last day :/ otherwise everything was excellent! Lots of nice channels, and Alexandra let me use her address to get some boots delivered that I forgot at a friend's!

    Cecelela2015-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We felt welcome by Alexandra, though we did not meet her. There was easy communication by email or text. The casita is spacious, and there were snacks and beer in fridge. There is plenty of space to prepare food. That being said, the bathroom could use some maintenance/TLC. The toilet tilts when you sit on it. The tub is old with rust spots, the bathtub mat is stained/dirty. Tiles around the tub show their age. Mold around caulking in tub. I was not comfortable in the backyard, as the renter in front has two large dogs. Though they are sweet dogs, she allowed them to jump on my when I first went into the yard after just arriving. She told me that I should just tell them "no" if I didn't want them jumping on me!! The yard has some nice furniture, but is surrounded by mostly weeds and dirt!

    Patricia2015-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is (URL HIDDEN) shared walls! Alexandria and her husband were available for a last minute accommodation and really saved the day. They also allowed us to use the porch space in the backyard. It was a great stay.

    Susie2014-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • A cute place and a great experience. I had lots of privacy, Alexandria easily accommodated my late check in, and was prompt with any questions I had. The place is cozy, well equipped with it's own kitchenette and bathroom, and I didn't want for anything. Loved being close to the university area, Nob Hill, and Downtown, as well as the airport. Highly recommended and will definitely want to stay here again!

    Erik2014-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place was darling and perfect for my stay in Albuquerque. It was even better than the description and so cute. Great for a single person or a couple. Alexandra made sure I had everything I needed before I arrived and dropped off fresh towels mid stay. The touchpad lock is so much easier than keeping track of a key so I loved that aspect. The neighborhood was quiet so I was able to leave the door open to the screen door and enjoy the nice weather. I definitely plan to be back next year for the balloon fiesta and will definitely look to see if this place is available. Convenient to restaurants, grocery store, fuel and the interstate.

    Gloria2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint place. Location was great as it was near a lot of hip places, cafes, parks, UNM, the airport, and the interstate, but it wasn't noisy or on a busy road. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Alexandra, but she was quick to respond to texts and I didn't have any problems with the stay. This wasn't a big deal for me, but in case it's important to someone else, the parking is street parking. It is pretty easy to find parking right in front though.

    Michael2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Your casita was fine. It was cold in the morning, we turned on the space heater every morning. Once we left it on all night. There were no drawers to put our clothes in. We opened the bathroom window but it would not close. We had to go outside to close it. The internet did not work the whole time we were there. Our daughter booked this room for us so we did not see the description before we arrived. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

A charming original 1920's southwest home with kiva fireplace, courtyard & hottub for your enjoyment. Located 2 minutes from I-40 & I-25 & 10 min. walk to Old Town Plaza, Park, Museum District, great restaurants and coffee. Hablamos espa~nol tambien!
We have been long time Air BnB guests, and are excited to now be hosts! Casita linda was originally a factory home built for the workers of the old Sawmill industry in the 20's. This home has been renovated and re-modeled with all modern conveniences, but keeps the rustic southwestern charm of days past.
The Sawmill/Wells park area (our neighborhood) is a prime location for nearly every event taking place in the heart of Albuquerque. You are not only walking distance from historic Old Town, the museum district, and a beautiful park, but also a short one mile drive (or bike, or walk!) to downtown Albuquerque, Convention Center, Hotel Albuquerque, Hotel Chaco, and weekend farmer's market. Golden Crown Panaderia and Cocina Azul (both a block away) offer up some of Albuquerque's most local and delicious cuisine.
  • Krishna and Lucia's place is one of the best places I have had the pleasure of staying at. It's quiet, private, clean and very comfortable. They lent us their bikes (there are four breweries within a mile of their place) and they also had hats we could borrow. Plus there were Lucha Libre masks! Krishna was there when we checked in and gave us a tour; he's incredibly nice and has wonderful suggestions for the area. He also kept our bags an extra day for us since our us was leaving very late. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! We appreciate you accommodating us!

    Dana2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Casita Linda!! We actually wanted to stay longer, but it was already booked! The casita met our needs and expectation based on the description, and was even more charming than the pictures! The location is perfect, and we were able to leave our car and walk into Old Town easily. Our hosts were lovely, and very accessible via text or by knocking on their door. Our host Krishna even helped us find another AirB&B location nearby since they were already booked for a second night... super helpful and friendly. The casita had a ton of character and we would love to stay here again!

    Ashley2015-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Warm and inviting casita with eclectic design and lots of great books. Very private and comfortable. If it's cold it has an awesome fireplace. Highly recommended.

  • The casita was a great 1 st-time Air B n B experience. The casita doesn't look like much from the street, but inside it is charming and cozy, with a small sitting room w/fireplace, a kitchen (no stove or fridge), bathroom and large bedroom. Old Town was just a short walk. The Crown Panaderia and Cocina Azul, both just a block away and recommended by our hosts, were very good. Thanks, Krishna & Lucia. You were great hosts, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. And the hot tub was a real plus.

    Mike2015-10-31T00:00:00Z

This cozy rustic New Mexican style casita/back-house offers a small private kitchen, bedroom/living space and private bathroom. It features great natural light and is close to many local gems - museums, breweries, shopping, historical sites, parks, and more! As a host, I am always more than happy to give suggestions for places in walking distance, as well as local sites around the city worth checking out.
We are very close to historic Old Town, less than a 10 minute walk. Just around the corner are several delicious cafes and a little further down the road you'll find multiple local breweries. Historic Tiguex (pronounced "tee-way") Park is a 5 minute walk, and across the street from there you'll find Explora, an interactive science museum, as well as the Museum of Natural History and Science and the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. We are also within a mile of the Paseo del Bosque Trail along the Rio Grande, and a mile and a half from the ABQ BioPark (zoo, aquarium and botanical gardens).

  • This was our first Airbnb experience and Mark was excellent. Our flight was delayed for 3 hours and he was very understanding and waited up for us. I would definitely book Mark's place again.

  • The listing description was dead on. The place was actually bigger than we thought it was! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was HUGE and really nice, and everything was clean, clean, clean! As a host, Mark was excellent at communicating whenever we needed any thing. That is huge for us! He gave us directions, recommendations, and even walked over an iron and ironing board at a last minute request! Couldn't ask for a better host! Overall this was a perfect place for us and we would absolutely return and recommend to anyone!

    Amy2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Mark is a wonderful host! He has a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood with private off street parking and a separate entrance leading to the room space. I really appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail! Mark is a great host, courteous, friendly and fun to chat with, especially about wood working! I'd book from him again without hesitation.

  • Mark was spectacular with directions to get to his home. The room is like a mini suite! Everything is there as stated in the ad and in great condition! The bed is super comfortable and having a TV with coffee was perfect. There are a ton of stores for anything you need or want...I loved the place n would definitely stay here again! Mark also had great recommendations for different places to eat...super nice guy:)

  • Allen was a great host, really friendly and chill. We were only in Albuquerque for a night, but he made sure it was a comfortable one. The room is very spacious and bed quite comfortable - what more do you need!

  • Allen offers a great place to stay. He was there to greet me as I got in, he showed me around, we talked for a few and was real helpful with anything I needed. The place was clean, cool, and all you need. I wish I had a few more days in the city because Albuquerque seems like a real cool city. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay for a night, week or month, this is where I would pick. Thanks again man.

  • This is my first time using Airbnb. Allen is awesome! He responds promptly and he was nice. The room was as described and he gave me a set of keys to lock my door and the house. Thank you for welcoming me to Albuquerque! I'll definitely stay there again. :)

New Kitchen, New Bathroom, New Laundry, New Bedrooms, New Beds, New Linens. Everything is fresh and modern. You could walk to work without the need of a car. Lots of restaurant choices and a nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Off street parking too!
  • The location had everything we needed for our stay and more, with enough pillows and blankets, an awesome kitchen, and the washer and dryer was a huge convenience for us. Everywhere we went on our trip was no more than 20 minutes away, giving us a lot of time throughout the day to do whatever. Everything on the inside was nice and clean, the king size bed I slept on was maybe too firm for me, but everyone has their preferences. In general, the place was great and I definitely would stay here again.

    Sam2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • The place was just perfect for our family; it was clean, updated, furnished, and air conditioned :)

    Chris2016-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • The is a secret keeper, a palace on the inside and a cozy, convenient home-like neighborhood on the outside. Private. Well furnished, immaculately clean, and totally relaxing. Don't pass this gem up when in Albequerque.

    Andrea2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and newly renovated. Location isn't great, but we were expecting to drive everywhere we were going anyway. Great host & no problems.

    Frank2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • As other travels have mentioned, the neighborhood is a little dicey- but the location is great. The house seemed like an add on to another house, but other than that- everything was perfect. Close the the airport, the house was very well remodeled. Doug was very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

    Ellen2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Douglas's place can only be described as immaculate. Everything inside has been updated and there are little touches around the house that makes you feel like you are at home. The kitchen is amazing and is fully equipped allowing you to be able to cook almost anything you could imagine. The closet in the master is huge and the blankets on that bed are super soft. When we were trying to locate the house we drove past it a few times because it is set back from the road. Douglas is also a very good communicator.

    Rachel2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very as described and we really enjoyed all the amenities! Doug was very responsive and patient! Thank you!

    Deborah2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • The good, the bad, and the ugly: Douglas communicated very well and the interior of the house was EXACTLY as described and pictured. However, the actual space is attached to another single-story, cinder-block home, with wires coming down from the roof. There were a collection of cars lining the driveway, one of which boasted a sale sign in the windshield and several that did not move the entire time we were there (and I am not sure they can). The back yard apparently was not meant to be used. The neighborhood is not what I would call comfortable and the main businesses within walking distance are: Ti-Dee Laundromat, Mrs. B's Pawn Shop, and a gas station with people hanging around asking for money. There is no full-length mirror, which is certainly not expected, but being that I was there for an interview, worth mentioning, I suppose. Washer and Dryer worked well and is a definite perk to staying at this location. I expected some airplane noise being that it is so close to the airport and was pleasantly surprised to hear very little of it. My partner and I did wake up in the middle of the night to noises/thumps coming from outside. The inside was in pristine condition, beds comfortable, immaculately clean, and Doug was on top of communicating/very friendly. He even included a thoughtful note not to leave anything in your car overnight. That being said, I would have probably chosen to stay at a hotel that was within walking distance of restaurants, etc. and was in a location that was pleasant/encouraging to explore, for the same cost. However, this space was clean, had lovely amenities, and the host made himself readily available... so if that is what you are looking for, then this is perfect for you and you won't be disappointed. It just wasn't quite what I was expecting or looking for.

  • Carol welcomed me and made my stay pleasant and very comfortable. She helped me feel at home and provided me with not only a beautiful room but a flowery patio as well! I enjoyed being able to make good coffee each morning and relax before launching myself into the busy routines of the day! It was a great room for sleeping soundly and waking up to the quiet call of mourning doves.

  • Carol is a warm, welcoming host. We appreciated the clean, cozy acommodations after a thirteen hour drive from California. She even provided fruit, bagels, and coffee in our room, which we road-weary travelers greatly appreciated. Her place is conveniently located near I-40 and Old Town, and the en suite is adjacent to the main house - bonus points for the privacy. Thanks, Carol!

  • Perfect host, more attentive and clean then a 5* hotel. It felt like we had our on own little house than a private room. This place has its only entrance, parking spot and complete privacy. After camping all week to stay in a place this comfortable and quiet was perfect Many Thanks to Carol - a great host :)

  • My stay at Carol's place was lovely. She was very prompt in replying to my messages and queries right from the time I booked the accommodation. The room was perfect for my friend and I to stay, clean beds, very quiet and comfortable. Just what we needed after all the sightseeing and driving we did all day long. Room came with plenty of linens and the parking was super easy. Carol also had fruits, snacks, coffee and water for us. Definitely the perfect example of a super host. Thank you very much once again Carol!!

  • Carol was a lovely hostess. The room was immaculate and very attractive. She provided a coffeemaker, coffee beans and a grinder so I had great coffee each morning. There is a small courtyard at this property, which I enjoyed in the mornings for coffee, and in the evenings with a glass of wine--chilled in the refrigerator provided in the room. It was very quiet, has a private entrance, and is very close to the University of NM, which was perfect for my purposes. I will definitely stay here again!

This one-bedroom apartment is right in the heart of downtown, across the street from the ever-popular Zendo coffee house and the super awesome Sidetrack Brewing. It is two blocks from a brand new grocery store and there are five breweries/taprooms within walking distance! The building is dedicated to the arts with live/work spaces and a theatre. Blocks from the train station, bars, and dining.
The apartment is on the second floor, but it is right near the front door at the top of the stairs. Neighbors are awesome and you may walk past artists at work in their studios. The space has lots of historical charm and quirks, such as old mail slots and an old phone cubby. Modern updates make it a very comfortable place to stay!
Our neighborhood is the most up and coming in Albuquerque! It's a very unique little arts hub with studios, coffee shops, bars, the super cool Rail Yards Market and a brand new grocery store just two blocks away. There's a coffee shop and brewery that share an amazing patio right across the street.
  • Courtney's place was incredibly cozy, just as expected! Best place to stay in Albuquerque!

    Autumn2016-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here during our Albuquerque and Santa Fe road trip. We picked this particular Airbnb due to its historic and artsy charm...we were certainly not let down! Courtney was great about check-in before we even got there and provided a detailed manual when we got inside the apartment! The apartment is cozy and is a perfect jumping off point for your travels in and around Albuquerque! The nearby area is certainly walkable. And the apartment is close to I-25 and I-40. We greatly appreciated the available dishes, silverware, and toiletries when at the apartment for dinner and relaxing from our activities. When checking out, the process is just as seamless! We notified Courtney about our check out via text and got a response within a timely manner. This is the perfect Airbnb for couples who are active tourists/visitors to Albuquerque!

  • This is an awesome building! I went to a conference downtown and this was a great place to stay. I got to walk to the conference which was awesome. The apartment had everything I needed, the bed was really comfortable, and Courtney made everything super easy.

  • Courtney's place was awesome. Easy walk to the convention center, and lots of nice local places nearby.

  • We found the place spacious, good value for money, close to food market, public transport (Amtrak, Road Runner & buses to everywhere), antique shops, some galleries and bars. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

    Larissa2016-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • We didn't interface with Courtney much because everything is very well explained in the house manual attached to the listing, but she was very easy to reach with any questions. Great coffee shop down the street and close to downtown. We had a great time exploring the city (specifically Nob Hill area). It rained some while we there making the place muggy, as to be expected when using swamp coolers. Overall a great homebase!

    Erika2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed visiting Albuquerque and appreciated the walkability of this apartment's location. I also found the historic building and the creative goings-on there really interesting. It's clear people in this building and neighborhood are doing great things to build community. The apartment is very simple. I would have liked it to have more natural light. The swamp cooler was quite loud, but you get used to it. Excellent bed. Very welcoming kitchen with drinks in the fridge. Courtney was very responsive and attentive.

  • Jon's place was quiet, clean, and quite sweet. Check in and out was a breeze. The bed was comfy and Jon was quickly responsive to small requests (ie. brought over a glass of milk when I arrived in the evening. The space was a little spare and needed a few things to make settling in easier, ie. small dresser to set things on, luggage rack, complimentary toiletries, and instructions. Still, I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying there again.

  • The space was great for my 3 girlfriends and me. Great location (short uber ride to downtown for late night tacos at Sister Bar and quick drive to the plaza), on a quiet residential street. The beds and beddings were so comfy. Appreciated the variety of teas in the kitchen. We enjoyed our tea in the sun on the back porch, which was lovely. Being next door to a Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul location was an added bonus =D

  • Kelly's house was stunning- clean, accessible, and a model air bnb. Kelly was quick and easy to communicate with, and even helped us to navigate the air bnb site. From descriptions on use of of appliances, to a manual for Albuquerque, this experience was above & beyond. Thank you Kelly for providing such comfortable beds for us to rest our heads on and being so prepared for us while we were on tour! We would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful home.

    Michael Brian2016-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • We checked into the home and right away the places looked adorable. It's an older home but clean and the decor is super cute. I'll go room to room. The living room has a Super Nintendo (bring me back to my childhood), the couches were comfortable and we had access to HBO to watch GOT! The kitchen was stocked with different flavor oatmeals, teas, coffee! All the basics you need. The downstairs bedroom where we slept was beyond comfortable. I have lower back pain and it was the first bed along our travels my back didn't ache when I woke. Inside the closes is a dirty and clean hamper along with a high chair and a stroller. I work from home usually so it was so convenient to have a desk in the bedroom to get a few things done instead of hunched over on the coffee table. The bathroom was cute! There was an old claw foot tub/shower. Provided in the bathroom were shampoo/conditioner and lotion even kids tooth paste in the cabinet. Watch your head in there if you're tall because the shower ceiling is low. Upstairs is a large room with another room with the teepee as shown in the pictures. There was even a baby gate, pack n play and toys available for use. Seriously we were extremely satisfied with this home. In the morning we drank our coffee outside at the table because the weather was refreshing! We left shortly after 11 because our son was napping and the host was understanding. I would recommend this place for anyone coming to visit small or large group! Thank you!

  • We booked Kelly's place for a girls only weekend for my wife and daughter. They had a blast and were super comfortable with Kelly's accommodations. They loved the charm (and humor) in the house. My wife came home and said it would be the perfect place for a weekend getaway for our entire family (five of us). Highly recommend.

  • This Loft is everything it is advertised to be. Great location, nice clean and comfortable space. It's security locked and parking is available (street) and we were always able to find a good parking spot. I loved that you gained entrance to this Loft with security codes, generated by yourself. It allows you to not worry about lost or misplaced, keys. Coffee, fruit and other goodies are offered to make your stay pleasurable. We are from the East coast and my husband was worried about catching his favorite games. Not a problem, the cable TV was very adequate and the boise music system was everything. My husband did go to a sports bar (Brexens), which was in walking distant, just so he could mingle with the locals. He had a wonderful time. There are plenty of eateries and bars within walking distance. Ken is a terrific host. He was always available for any concerns or questions. He made sure all bases were covered when it pertained to convenience, which made our stay very enjoyable. And, to top things off, the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. I would rent this Loft again.

  • Ken's apartment is great. We loved it. Beautiful, clean and convenient to everything we wanted to see. Also the free street parking downtown was a nice plus. Everything was easy. And great coffee, too. Lots of stairs but good exercise for us since we ate wonderful food in Albuquerque restaurants. (love that New Mexico green chili).

    Lucy2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Ken's place is amazing. My husband travels every week to Albuquerque and this is his favorite place to stay!

  • Very nice place. I really enjoyed it! Loft was very clean location is wonderful.

  • Kens place is amazing! You've hit the jackpot with this Airbnb if you're able to book it! Free drinks in fridge, coffee and fresh fruit! Oh my! Would give 10 stars if I could!

  • A 5 star rating all around for Kens funky, hip and groovy air Bnb. Was pleased with his speedy replies to all my questions , great value, quiet space, and the personalized touches were very welcoming. The bed was super comfy and my son liked the lower space with the pull out sofa. The kitchen was great for morning coffee and breakfast making before heading out for the day. We had a rental car but the first few days just walked around the area as is easily accessible by foot. I would highly recommend staying here.....you won't regret it.

  • I would highly recommend staying here. The overall experience was amazing. Everything is so close by, downtown is walking distance- so many cool restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

This home is a vintage bungalow in a nice historic residential neighborhood. It includes some of the coolest coffee shops, laid back breweries, and top notch restaurants. Old Town with all it's charm is within walking distance. We welcome couples, friends, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Feel comfortable and secure in a well built 100 year old brick home. 9' ceilings, large windows. The room is very private, no need to walking through main house to get to your room... you have your own exterior entrance.
South: Our neighborhood butts up against the judicial and convention part of downtown. You will find century old bungalows, adobe's, and quirky victorians. Cool cafes are dotted in among the homes. West: Marble Ave. is two blocks off of Mountain Rd. which 300+ years ago was the main route to the Sandia Mountains and beyond. Walking down Mountain Rd. you can pick out some of the old structures that must have be along this road when it was rural. As you walk west to 18th St. you'll pass some of the states best museums and onto Old Town. Old Town is Albquerque's humble beginnings as a Spanish settlement, with several adobe buildings surrounding a plaza.
  • Douglas' place is like a 5 star hotel. It was one of the cleanest and most beautiful places I've stayed in Airbnb. Douglas is a great host, he welcomed us into his house, showed us around and made us feel at home with delicious coffee and fruitful conversations at his kitchen table. I would definitely recommend this place and would be back again when in Albuquerque.

    Sara2016-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • I was new to Airbnb and needed a place to stay for a conference I was attending. This room was nothing short of excellent. The host provided everything you would expect a much more expensive accommodation to supply, and also was very willing to recommend local attractions, restaurants, and bars when asked. 10/10, would stay again.

    Will2017-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The neighborhood was great. Very convenient location. Douglas was an awesome host. The room was comfortable and clean. Would stay here again!

    Karen2016-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • We were very comfortable. Very clean. Nicely furnished. Quiet. Host provided everything we needed! Would definitely stay there again.

  • The place was was very cute, comfortable, and private. Perfect for our needs and a wonderful place overall.

  • This private room's a short walk to downtown Albuquerque, yet enjoys the quiet of a residential neighborhood. The room itself is chic & clean. Jonesy's a great host—easy to communicate with, and will give you pointers on all of Albuquerque's best dining & nightlife. I highly recommend this room when in ABQ.

    Trevor2017-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic! The room is well-appointed, the bed is as comfortable as all the reviews say, and Douglas was highly responsive and took care of everything. It was an easy ten minute walk from the convention center that brought me to Albuquerque. Thanks for a great stay!

    Mara2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Douglas, was nothing but an exceptional, friendly, warm, inviting and genuine host and individual. Communication both about my arrival and stay and also about the community and places to go was amazing. I would love to stay with him again when I find myself in town again. Having a king size bed (me being 7ft tall) was amazing on a road trip too. Highly recommend staying here and having a coffee with Douglas!!

Light and airy home in the new Sawmill Crossing neighborhood behind the Ponderosa Brewery, and steps away from both Hotel Albuquerque and the brand new Hotel Chaco of Heritage Hotels fame. Also, just steps away to Old Town, museums, downtown, Botanical Gardens, and central location to I-40 and I-25. Near two Starbucks and many other restaurants within walking distance. Coming soon is the new Sawmill Market, a high end retail grocery store across from the exclusive Hotel Chaco.
  • Daniel is a great host. He was very welcoming. He was very flexible with check in time. My flight was later in the night and he happily accommodated. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. His apartment was very upscale and clean. The neighborhood was very close to Old town plaza, and it was easy to walk too. Overall I had a great experience, and I would definitely stay at Daniel's place again if I visit ABQ.

    Vikram2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my boyfriend had a great stay in Daniels place! He welcomed us into his gorgeous home, we felt very comfortable and the neighbourhood is really nice. The bedroom is perfect, the bed is extra comfortable, the bathroom has a huge mirror with 2 sinks and a glorious shower. I would highly recommend this place to stay! Thank you for a fabulous time Daniel!

Our cheerful 400-sq ft casita sits on just over an acre of shared property down a private road in the North Valley, with easy access to I-25, a RailRunner Station, and the Cottonwood Mall area. The location offers the best of both worlds -- spectacular mountain views (especially at sunset), and easy access to the Paseo del Bosque Trail and the Cottonwood forest along the Rio Grande.
City services, city address, and city conveniences, with quiet country charm. Once an art studio, this little building has been freshly painted and appointed with a comfy queen-sized memory foam bed, on-demand hot water, and plenty of books to curl up in the armchair with. A kitchenette provides a refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, and a drop leaf cafe table mounted on the wall. Want to dine in your pajamas? No problem -- dishes, glassware, and basic cookware allow you to make the most of a lazy morning. Arctic air-conditioning and toasty heat. At first glance, the bathroom appears minimalist, but what what it lacks (a sink), is more than made up for with the added luxury of endless hot showers and a separate heater to ward off the morning chill.
The North Valley is quiet with a distinctively rural feel, which we love. Homes are spread out on large lots -- no urban density here. The neighborhood is bound by railroad tracks to the east, the Rio Grande to the west, and the Sandia Pueblo to the north. Accessing all that ABQ, Rio Rancho, and Corrales have to offer is no problem thanks to our proximity to Alameda/528 and I-25. However, if you are looking for nightlife, out here you'll have to settle for the sounds of the coyotes on the bosque. Still, you'll love the easy access to ABQ's best breweries -- Bosque, Boxing Bear, and Steel Bender (Uber and Lyft operate in ABQ). El Pinto's famous red chile ribs are 2 minutes away. The majestic cottonwood forests along the Rio Grande are an easy, ten-minute walk. The Range Cafe and Kactus Brewery in Bernalillo are also only a short drive.
  • Casita Bonita! We had such a lovely stay. The night of our arrival we took a walk and enjoyed watching the rain clouds roll in with a beautiful view of a rainbow over the Sandias. In the morning we sat outside and enjoyed fresh coffee while listening to the gentle sounds of the goats, sheep and chickens. Claire and Jacques are incredibly friendly and we enjoyed conversation with them but they also gave us a lot of privacy. We will definitely stay again!

    Sheryl2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Claire's casita is tucked a couple of miles off the highway, making it a perfect spot for a stopover to help us break up our cross-country moving adventure. The directions are spot on, the property is lovely and the amenities are perfect. Great value and even better people.

    Jason and Mel2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I were on a cross-country road trip and stopped in Claire's place along the route. We are so glad we did! This little casita had everything we wanted and was peaceful for us as well as our cat. Claire and Jacques were super helpful directing us to their place. The mountain views are beautiful and we enjoyed getting to meet the barnyard animals as well as Beans (their adorable dog). Highly recommend this place!

    Claire2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay! The casita is very comfortable with a great bed and nice appointments and small touches all around. The area is great, quiet and pretty but close to I-25 and Tramway and the Rio Grande. The animals are all so cute and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Great value as well.

    Troy2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • I would say if your planning on staying in Albuquerque and want a private, peaceful, clean and cozy place to stay THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Not only were the hosts so sweet-hearted and friendly but this little place was beyond my expectations! This place is so much more then what I payed for it's totally worth the nightly cost if not more! With the cute urban coziness it comes with lovely house hold appliances , accommodated by wonder daily organic necessities offered to you! If you have a furry friend to bring a long this place is also perfect for that, the host are animal lovers and make your furry pet feel just as welcomed as you are! Place is super clean and absolutely full of complete peace! Definitely a place I would stay at again and again!
