I arrived at the Chanoma house by absolute chance after my original host had to cancel my arrival at the last minute due to a family emergency. Little I know that this fortuitous circumstance allowed me to meet such a wonderful and welcoming couple! Hiromi and Kirby where so kind and made me feel totally at home (well, I don't get to eat wonderful Sushi at home!) and even though I stayed only for one night, it felt as if I had stayed for a long time:) Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality and hope to see you back again! Come stay with me at my Charming 4 bedroom/pool home, its close to the Fallbrook mall, The fabulous new Village( loads of restaurants) in Woodland Hills, close to Calabasas( home to many of the rich and famous) a fairly short drive to some of the worlds most gorgeous beaches, such as Topanga and Malibu.

The bedroom is quiet, clean and clutter free. The home is very quiet overall. You can access the bedroom thru the front door, there are no steps to climb. I will be available most daytimes to offer any help or advice you need. I mostly work overnight shifts. Also depending on the time of day you arrive I may be able to collect you from the airport.

The neighborhood is quiet, there is an elementary school across the street. Many families live in this area. The police keep a sharp eye on things to keep us safe. Its extremely close to the bus stop, 5 minutes walk. From there you can access most of the city. The neighborhood is family style, very safe and neighbors keep an eye on things. No illegal activity on my premise or nearby will go unnoticed. Please respect the area, my home and keep things the way you found them.

This apartment is in a great location with a lot of great things around it. Just a few blocks from beach, restaurants, bars, boardwalk, and shopping. Please note that this is an apartment between renters and is semi-unfurnished. There will be a deluxe queen air mattress (high style, so similar height to a bed). It will have bedding, linens, towels. There is fridge, heater. There will be a coffee table and a comfortable chair, but there won't be any sofas of desks or dinner table, TV.

If you want to get around LA, this spot is in a good location to get around the city and 20 minutes from LAX airport. It's a nice apartment with granite counter tops, in-unit clothes washer and dryer. But it is only furnished enough to be comfortable, so its missing some things like a TV and sofa. There will be coffee table and an arm chair. Bed/Bedding/Towels soap etc.. Some utensils. There will be a lockbox setup on the side of the building with the driveway. The building is an off-white yellowish color. It has a green wrought iron fence in the front with some plants. You will be provided access code before arrival. You can come anytime. I'll be around to answer questions or help as needed. I do work during the day, so mostly available in the evenings and weekends. You can still reach me while I am at work.

This is right on the border between Santa Monica and Venice, 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk, 1 block from Main Street Santa Monica, 10 Minute walk to Abbot Kinney (GQ's coolest Street in America), and about a 20 minute walk to Santa Monica Pier and Shopping at 3rd Street Promenade. On Abbot Kinney and Main Street you will find the best bars and restaurants. On the boardwalk you will be able to the Venice side and see muscle beach, or the Santa Monica Side and see the Santa Monica Pier. Bikes are available to cruise around on. Right in the midst of Silicon Beach where there is Google, and Snapchat HQ. Uber is always 2 minutes away. We provide shared bikes, and otherwise there are close bus stops. This is about 15 minutes from LAX airport. Mostly, you will find a lot of entertainment within walking distance. It's a great location, lots to do. Since its semi-unfurnished, if you need anything that I can provide, feel free to ask as I live in an apartment within the building.

Gigi was great! She was helpful and quick to reply. The room was cozy and I was provided with toiletries, towels, some snacks and even an energy drink! She mentioned a kitchen which, though I was out most of the time, was a plus as there is a Ralph's right around the corner. All in all a great place to stay if you're traveling by yourself!

Stay in this beautiful spacious studio apartment, only 10 minutes from DTLA, 15 minutes from Hollywood, and 20 minutes from Beverly Hills. This is much better than any hotel deal you will find, with amenities like a pool, jacuzzi, gym, 24-hour check in and more.

The unit is a spacious studio, with living area as well as full kitchen and bath. With air conditioning and heaters, including a bathroom heater, this space is very comfortable and comparable to any 3-4 star hotel you will otherwise pay much more for in the city. The apartment building is very secure, and has 24 hour surveillance, and 24 hour security posts. And being on the third floor of an enclosed apartment also adds to the safety. Guests have access to any amenities that all tenants have, which includes a Pool and Jacuzzi area, gym, hangout area with pool tables, TV and fireplace. I am very understanding when it comes to travel, so please let me know if there is anything I may offer to help you out with your travel needs.

Los Angeles is very reliant on public transportation, so there are buses and trains that run throughout, and stops all around the complex. Wilshire Blvd is a very common avenue that many travelers use to commute from DTLA, all the way to Santa Monica. It may be easier to call and Uber or Lyft if you have not rented a vehicle though, although its all about personal preference. There is free street parking available in front of and around the premises, but keep in mind that LA is an over populated city and parking can get full after working hours, making it a little longer to find parking. But nonetheless, there is always a spot.

Very bright top room in 2 story-loft apartment with unique layout. Your own full bathroom. In the heart of Venice. 5 minute walk to Whole Foods, restaurants, and coffee shop. 15 minute walk to the beach. Free street parking. Free WiFi.

Very bright top room in 2 story-loft apartment with unique layout which doesn't feel like an apartment at all. As there is another space below ours, you are actually watching the sunset from your window from the third floor. One can almost see the ocean from here. Almost. Your room, your private bathroom, the kitchen, the living room, the deck. Free access to Netflix, HBO Now, Apple TV, Inkjet Printer. A couple of guitars and hand drums are at your disposal as well if the mood should strike. And always feel free to pet the cat, who lives mainly on her heating pad right under the tv. I do work evenings on average 4 times a week at a local restaurant. During the day I'll be mostly at home and at your disposal and I'll do my best to greet you in person. I am handy with just about everything and can help you immediately if any problem should arise. I don't provide breakfast, but you have full access to the kitchen and we might end up having breakfast together. There is a popular local breakfast place/diner just up the street (5 minute walk) - the Cafe 50's, as well as a vegan restaurant, Whole Foods, Ralphs, RideAid, Groundworks (coffee shop). All within a 5-10 minutes walk.

It's Venice. Enough said. :-) 10 minutes to get to the 10 freeway by car. Bus routes on Lincoln - 5 minute walk to the next bus stop. LAX is about 20-25 minutes away by car on a day without too much traffic. Free street parking out front. Street cleaning on Wednesday from 10am - noon and on Thursday 10am - noon.

Just great! A quick walk to the boardwalk but far enough to be quiet and feel very safe. His old cat is hilarious and sweet as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Oliver was a great host and texted me to let me know I could check in earlier which was great for me as I was waiting to check in. He left clear instructions on how to get in and ensured I arrived safely by communicating with me. The place was great, very comfortable and clean. I only stayed 1 night but I would definitely come back again. Despite the room being a loft, I was still able to get a good rest and the neighbourhood was quiet and Oliver was very considerate.

Oliver made us feel very welcome and gave us plenty of suggestions for our time here, he really is a great guy and I would recommend his place. The loft was perfect for our stay in Los Angeles. The house is very clean and tidy with everything we needed to be comfortable. There was always parking right out front, it is walking distance to shops, restaurants, close to the airport and we always felt safe in the neighbourhood.

Oliver is really kind, hospitable and considerate. His house is located in a beautiful neighborhood with easy access to Venice beach and many cafes. If you want to visit Santa Monica, it is also not far from the house. Oliver give detailed information on nearby sites of interest and a lot of good restaurants. The loft is bright, clean and comfort. We enjoyed hanging with Oliver and his cat. Oliver showed us a wooden castle he've been making for his son, which is really impressive. We highly recommend Oliver's house if you'd like a wonderful experience Venice.

Although I did not spend a lot of time at the loft, Oliver and the room were absolutely fantastic. Oliver was very organised in getting back to me, and preparing the room for my stay. I arrived just before Oliver left for work, he gave me a warm welcome and a quick tour of his home. He has a beautiful cat and fish tank! The room itself is located up a set of stairs and feels separated from the rest of the house. Great for a bit of privacy and the ensuite bathroom is a fantastic bonus. The room has access to his 5G wireless internet which performs a treat. Upon arrival the room was incredibly tidy, came with bath towels, a fitted double bed and open desk space and wardrobe. The location and quality of this space is perfect, a short walk to Venice beach. A real home away from home. The room aside, Oliver himself was such a fantastic host, incredibly laid back and easy to talk to and get along with. Could easily sit down with him and chat like old friends. I would highly recommend Oliver and his loft room- hands down the best combination of accommodation and hosting I have experienced for my three weeks in America.

Studio in the Hollywood Hills. Located on a lovely cul de sac. 3 unit building. Only has street parking. Usually 5 night minimum but sometimes less. Feel free to inquire with any questions or concerns!

This great little space for a single person. It's located on a great street in a really nice neighborhood. Has hardwood floors and tile. Basic kitchenette. Comfortable full mattress. TV with streaming device for Netflix etc. 3 unit building there is an apartment above this one. Guess have access to onsite laundry. Wifi: calmearth223 is the password and it's Neatgear. Be sure to only use the top lock and never lock the bottom lock as to not lock yourself out. There is only street parking available and it's important not to park in front of the apartment or blocking other tenants and neighbors at any time! I am planning to rent this while traveling so interaction will be minimal. Of course I am always happy to answer all questions via email.

It's a real neighborhood in LA. It's very green and you can walk to restaurants. Griffith Park is close by. Easy freeway access. Close to Hollywood yet feels very peaceful. For the dedicated you can use LADOT that runs up Beachwood and connects to the Main Metro bus system. Parking is available on the street only. I live here full time and I always can find a spot to park sometimes I have a short walk. It's really a matter of expectations. No permit's are required for the surrounding streets. It's really important to never block other tenants or use there spaces or to ask to use there spaces! Only when you are loading or unloading your car may you very briefly park in front on the unit!

This place was lovely! Everything was well designed and looked exactly like the photos. In a perfect location (we were quite worried about staying in the hills) but it was surprisingly full of parking, not that steep, nor too difficult to get back down to the city. We even hiked up to the Hollywood sign and it only took about 40 minutes. Very nice! We also met Jamie on the way out and he was very pleasant and chill. Would definitely move into the house of it was possible lol thanks Jamie!

The appartement is located In the cutest street ever, amazingly quiet and so close of Hollywood blvd! Jamie left me some amazing juices and bagles, perfect after a long flight! Netflix was my best friend after my long days on the beach ;-) i would go back there for my next LA trip without any single doubt! Thx Jamie x PS: very friendly neighbours!!!

The place was awesome. James left it clean and was a very good host and quick to respond to emails. I was even able to prolong my stay while I was there. The pictures are accurate, everything you need in the kitchen is there and there's Netflix and lots of books and dvd's. It's not huge but really all you need and has and eco-friendly feel about it. The neighborhood is really green and peaceful; at night you hear the frogs and see the stars, but you're also just a ten minute drive from busy and vibrant Hollywood. I really recommend this place and this area, exactly because of this combination. There are some awesome hikes up to the Hollywood sign that start nearby. The phone reception is bad in the area, but wifi was excellent. Or should I not recommend this and keep it to myself? Naah, go for it!

Beautiful secluded place, such a darling and quiet cul-de-sac with super respectful neighbors. It's a studio with lots of leg room and walkable to a great cafe and market. Jamie is incredibly responsive, clean, generous, and happily let me do a late checkout that I needed badly. I loved being here, frogs croaking at dusk, birds chirping at dawn, trees, charm, all walkable from Franklin Village too!

This is a wonderful Place to stay in LA, I felt really like I was living here by staying in this wonderful secluded Studio up in Beachwood Canyon. Jamie had left the Fridge Stocked with fresh OJ and Bagels, which was really useful after a long flight from London. The place is perfect if you are planning on traveling either alone or with a partner. and is a short Drive down Beechwood Drive to the madness of Hollywood itself, or easily walkable to the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Park too. So you get the best of LA by staying here. There is a great Cafe and a Store only a short 4 minute walk up the Hill in the Village.
