  • Wonderful apartment with all kind of details (wifi, Nespresso Coffee, ...). It is even better that how it appears in the app. Regarding Tess, we got all kind of support and help including good advices for enjoying the stay in London. We will repeat.

  • We arrived late at night and were met by Tess' sister who explained everything we needed to know about the accommodation. The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. A great back yard and outdoor area. The bathroom was almost new and had a really nice shower and seperate bath. Location close to two underground stations was great. You can travel from Queen's Park direct to Piccadilly Circus without changing trains. Within a few minutes walk, there are a couple of good pubs and cafes in Queens Park. In the same area there is a M&S and Sainsbury for groceries etc. All in all a great stay. Tess helped us out by answering a couple of queries quickly - including where to find the opener for our wine?? This is also a safe area. My wife stayed a couple of nights on her own while I was away playing golf and she felt completely safe.

  • From our first contact Tess was welcoming and extremely helpful. Her flat provided ideal accommodation for a family such as ours who had different members of different ages coming and going during the booking period. It was beautifully presented and comfortable.

    Pamela2016-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Tess' place was extremely clean and close by Queen's Park station, as well as some really good eateries such as Ostuni and GAIL's bakery. There was plenty of sunlight in the living area which makes the place bright and cosy. As a host, she was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. She allowed one additional person to stay with us despite receiving the request from me on short notice. In addition, she provided a long list of reconmended places to visit way before my trip so that I can plan my itinerary ahead. She also gave very clear instructions and options on how we can travel to her place from the airport. I would certainly choose to stay at her place if I visit London next time round.

    Sei Yin2017-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Tess was the absolute perfect host! Her communication, friendliness, and attentiveness made our stay so smooth. She helped us to coordinate transportation to and from the airport, gave us amazing recommendations, and made us feel completely at home. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to London!

    Julie2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • My family of four found Tess's place just as beautiful as pictured. Really great size for the 4 of us. We all slept very well and we're not bothered by the trains which are quiet compared to American trains. All the restaurants we tried on Salusbury Road were very good. Would definitely recommend staying at Here. Tess was a wonderful hostess.

    Kathleen2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Tess's place is perfect for a family exploring London. Public transport is an easy walk to either the underground from Queens Park, or the bus from Kilburn High Road. We found the underground took us everywhere we needed to go with ease. The apartment is warm and cosy and bedding very comfortable. Tess provides little extras which make the place very homely and allow for a family to easily self-cater. The kitchen is well equipped, and the ability to wash and dry clothing is fabulous when traveling. We had a wonderful stay.

    Tania2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time at Tess' apartment. The apartment was organised, clean, good location and had everything as described. We thank Tess for her flexibility in letting us drop our bags early, excellent quick communication and helping us out with clear directions and answering all our questions. Highly recommended!

If you want to experience London at it's best then come to Camden. This area of London is central, safe, and packed full of cafes, bars, famous nightclubs, music venues and the world famous Camden Market along with beautiful parks and Primrose Hill.
I live in the heart of Camden Town, in a late Georgian terrace of houses within a Conservation area, right in the centre of London. My flat is richly decorated which reflects the work that I do as a Textile Artist. My walls are covered with my choice of vintage finds, antiques and objets d'art. My Flat on 1st and 2nd Floor 16 sq mtrs: SITTING ROOM/BEDROOM: You will be staying (with me) in my sitting room on a comfy sofa bed. You will get complete privacy during your stay in my sitting room. This large sunny room has two big windows with wooden shutters and a big fire place. There will be fresh bedlinen, a choice of pillows, towels, big duvets and hot water bottles. There is a hanger rail for your clothes. **I provide earplugs for you as I am on a main road. **1 extra small child can stay on AIR MATTRESSES or ONE EXTRA adult. This will be like CAMPING but is appreciated by families on a tight budget... or for a family for the weekend. You have free Wi Fi, TV, DVD and information about what is going on in London, with maps and guidebooks. KITCHEN: You can use my kitchen whilst staying with me. There is unlimited tea and coffee, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, a fridge, iron and ironing board. I do not have an electric dryer - I hang clothes on a dryer in the hallway. **I don't supply breakfast but Arancini's ( 1 minute walk) has great food and Mario's is around the corner (with his own mini Art gallery). ** For 3 people to eat at the kitchen table is slightly tight... see the pictures. BATHROOM: You will be sharing the bathroom with me. I supply big towels, hairdryers and a few shampoos etc. GUEST WELCOME: I always try to welcome guests personally but if I am not around I make other arrangements for you as well as key access. I provide a welcome pack for you and answer all your questions. Then I leave you be. Chaplin 1992 and countless films were filmed by the canal there, which has now been opened up for visitors and has a new street food market and a brilliant music venue called Kings Place. The Spice Girls filmed in the now magnificent St Pancras Hotel -- well worth a visit. All 8 Harry Potter films were filmed at Kings Cross Station so fans will want to visit platform 9 and 3/4 - ask anyone where it is. Alfie, Breaking and Entering, Nanny Mcfee 2 were filming in that area as well as Regents Park, Primrose Hill, Regents Canal. Camden has been filmed in numerous times. And Robert Downey Jn had his photo taken right outside my front door for Sherlock Holmes. And I missed it... We have a farmers market, boutiques, cafes, coffee houses, the Jazz Cafe, a Cinema, the Jewish Museum, welcoming pubs and small restaurants, thriving night clubs and a ground - breaking music scene, as well as charming neighbourhoods and easy access to London's Museums. I have lived in this area for over 27 years and still love it. *7 mins - Welcome to Camden Market packed with 100s of stalls, that receives over a 100 thousand people each weekend. • Tessa was an exceptional host: easygoing, thoughtful, and generous. She had plenty of useful information on hand about London, and I feel she graciously helped to expand my sense of the city. Her flat is amazing--full of wonderful flourishes and well-chosen objects--and the rooms are truly artful, lovely, and inspiring. I heartily look forward to staying with her again on my next London visit!

    Cyrus2012-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed with Tessa for one night during a conference at the London Zoo. It was a short walk from cafes, restaurants etc., and about 20 minutes walk to the zoo, so location was very convenient. The place itself was adorable, the room very pleasant, as well as the bathroom and kitchen. Tessa was super nice and welcoming. We will come back again if we're ever in need of room in the neighborhood.

    Michal2013-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • When we first saw the foto's of Tessa's house we thought "that looks like something special" - and it is! It is a cozy place with lovely decoration and colours in every room, and we immediately felt comfortable. Tessa is very warm and friendly and so helpful when you have questions – and she has a lot of material/guidebooks for tourists, such a shame that we did not have the time to study all of it. We had an excellent breakfast at Tessa's breakfast recommendation Arancini's - you have to go there! Camden Town is a nice area and you can easily reach all tourist attractions by underground which is just some minutes walk away. Absolutely recommended, we would love to stay there again when we are in London next time !

    Bianca2013-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • It's like staying with your sister -- starting with a warm, relaxed greeting (complete with hug) from a cheery host. Tessa respected our space yet always made sure to ask or to leave a note to see if we needed anything. Lots of info available, lots of maps, transit info, local restaurant and cafe info, etc. as well as personal tips on walking the area. A safe area, very easy walk to bus, tube, the overground and Camden Market. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements (and even though she warns of a noisy road out front, we didn't find it so). We slept one on the sofa bed and one on an air mattress and we were both extremely comfy. Excellent linens and pillows. Kitchen is open for use (and there's a Sainsbury's on the route home from the tube), and while the bathroom is shared, it seemed to always be available, and no shortage of hot water. The only caveat: There are many (interesting) items high up on the walls and in the bathroom, so some not-so-easy-to-reach nooks are (only slightly) dusty. Not a bother for us, but having many family members with allergies, I know it's something that might be an issue. Highly recommended.

    Shari2014-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • our stay was perfect in each regard. tessa is nice an helpful and provides you with a lot of information. the place is comfy and cosy. perfect!

    Ingrid2012-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Tessa's cozy apartment. She really anticipated guests needs and had toiletries, a hairdryer and hair straightener, earplugs, and clothing rack, for example. In addition, she had a stack of guides and information about the ins and outs of the city. Even the taxi company she recommended was timely and agreed on fair price in advance of our pick up. She was able to give advice on transportation and even was kind enough to print out our boarding passes for our flight home. We also loved Tessa's place because it reflects the eclectic, interesting, and fun neighborhood that is Camden Town. We frequented the Market every day for breakfast (Cereal Killer Cafe is a MUST!) and there are a number of great restaurants and bars in the area, as well. (Try The Diner for an American-style breakfast or Yum Cha for cheap and tasty dumplings and pan-Asian fare). I love the location because it's really in the middle of so much. You can pop over to Hampstead Heath for a lazy afternoon in the park and visit the famed Highgate Cemetery. It's about a 5 minute walk to the tube from Tessa's and the Northern Line can take you most places in 15-20 minutes or less. We would definitely recommend staying at Tessa's. The layout of the apartment is wonderful for renting out - your bedroom and the kitchen are on one floor and Tessa's bedroom and the bath are on the next. There is a lot of privacy which is nice and unexpected for renting a room. You have your own key and can come and go as you please. Thanks again, Tessa!

  • It was our first time using AirBnB and sataying at Tessa's was the best experience we could expect. Tessa's house, and the way she welcomed us was even better than what we wanted, making our stay really memorable ! Thanks Tessa !

  • Tessa was lovely, and she made me feel very welcome. Her flat is great, really cosy and comfortable and situated in a great part of London. What more can I say? Thanks Tessa! ;)

  • My stay at Susan's home was wonderful. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable and gave lots of tips on where to go and what see in London. The house is exceptionally clean and the roommates are friendly and quite. Great location in a safe neighborhood. Thanks for everything!

  • Susan was actually off on a vacation when I arrived but she had arranged for me to collect the keys from her neighbor. The communication from her side was great. The room was nice and Susan's roommates were very friendly and accommodating.

  • Excellent accommodation and lovely host. This is by far the best place I have ever stayed from AirBnB. The place is immaculate, spacious, with big modern kitchen and bathroom. Susan is also an excellent and extremely friendly host who made me feel at home the whole time I was there. I cannot recommend this place enough.

    Joseph2015-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Huge thanks to Susan for making my quick 2-day London trip even better! Very clean and warm room, comfortable bed, spotless bathroom (literally, you can eat of the floors!), and delicious breakfast fixings and coffee in the morning!

    Irina2016-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I enjoyed the wonderful time in London and stayed at Susan"s home. Excellent cleanliness everywhere, lovely breakfast, warm attitude. Near metro and bus. Recommended for everyone.

    Simon2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's lovely home is impeccably clean and comfortable. It's a really good value for the money. Who says London has to be expensive? It is on a residential neighborhood in the East End so you will get more if the experience of really living there than the average tourist. You can stay for just one night or for months if you wish. I was there for about a week by myself and appreciated the opportunity to socialize with Susan, her friends and other boarders. The trip to the Upton Park tube station was easy even for someone like me who is over 50. I would stay here again or recommend it to others.

    Elaine2016-12-04T00:00:00Z

  • We had a fantastic stay at Vicky's beautiful and cosy home. From the moment we arrived like a whirlwind at 8am - we felt welcome and at home. Vicky's gorgeous house is exactly as shown in her pictures- beautifully clean and very stylish decor. The beds are incredibly comfy and warm. We spent a small amount of time chatting with Vicky - she is very easy to talk to and has lots of London knowledge. The breakfast each morning was excellent and kept as going for a few hours each morning. The walk to the station through the cemetery whilst bring followed by squirrels was great fun. I have no hesitation in recommending Vicky and her beautiful house to anyone - you will be amazed - it is an absolute treat.

    Alison2014-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Even though our stay was short, both my girlfriend and I enjoyed staying at Vicky's place. The home was absolutely stunning and Vicky made us feel very welcome. Both our check in and check out times were flexible, which made the stay incredibly stress-free. I recommend Vicky's place to anyone who are staying in London. The Hammersmith suburbs are lovely, quiet, close to the Thames and only a 15 minute tube ride from Kings Cross. Two Thumbs Up to Vicky and her place!

    Bedrooms

    London, United Kingdom

A mini apartment within the clock tower apartment at St Pancras Station, with its own en suite bathroom and kitchen and sitting area. It sits in Sir George Gilbert Scott's gothic revival railway hotel building from 1868. Ideal for 1 week holidays.
The apartment is in the clock tower above St Pancras International Station. This guest suite with a double bedroom on the 4th floor looks out over Kings Cross Station. The apartment has another double bedroom, also on the 4th floor being used by the owner or by other guests. This guest suite has all its own facilities not shared with others including in addition to the bed, a living area, a small kitchen/dining area and its own bathroom and shower. As the apartment is on the 4th and 5th floors and fully equipped with secondary glazing, the road and railway noise is very low and almost nobody notices it but I would advise delicate sleepers to be aware of it before booking. The suite is available for short or long-term letting and ideally suits couples on holiday in London for a few days or a week. There is additional bedding available by prior arrangement if one or two others want to stay but THIS NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED WITH THE OWNER AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. Clean towels are provided as standard as are soap/shampoo. This listing is very heavily booked but it may be worth looking on my other listing (ST PANCRAS CLOCK TOWER MASTER SUITE) which is for the master bedroom which I let out when I am not using it. The main difference is that you would then use the main kitchen on the 5th floor. Or contact me with an enquiry and I will let you know. Little things are provided in the apartment, such as a hairdryer, international plug adaptors and umbrellas. Let me know if you need London Oyster cards for public transport (electronic cards for you to use and top up) or a UK SIM loaded cellphone. The clock tower was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott like an Italian bell tower but never held bells. The clock never has and does not ring. On the 5th floor, the clock tower room's height lends itself to some extraordinary events. See YouTube for a video of an aerialist on a rope (Gisele Edwards) or a silk rope artist (ErialC).
Neighbourhood It is within walking distance of many of London's sights, from the British Library next door to the British Museum and the West End 20-25 minutes away. There are lots of shops in St Pancras Station. The best mainstream grocery store nearby is Waitrose in the Brunswick Centre. There is more public transport within 100m than almost anywhere else on the planet (buses, metro, rail). What is really exciting about Kings Cross now is its pace of development. New office buildings will house the European HQ of (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and many other businesses. As offices are completed, they are fully let such is the demand for space in this area. The opening of new restaurants and shopping facilities now and over the coming years is transforming a former post-industrial desert to one of the most exciting parts of the metropolis.
  • Interesting place, very spacious and comfortable - though its location means you have to be happy sharing it with a London that never sleeps.

  • Peter was a brilliant host. He was attentive and sweet, and he really made all of my guests (and me!) feel completely at ease during our dinner party. He offered to help in every way possible, as well as being friendly and lovely to my dinner party guests. He and his gorgeous home truly made for a birthday dinner my friends and I will never forget. Thank you!

    Barbara2014-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic stay, and Peter was a generous and interesting host. Wish I could have stayed there for longer. Highly recommended.

    Mellie2014-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb experience, and it could not have been better. Peter is the perfect host. Even before we booked communication with Peter was always prompt, and he kindly answered all of my questions. He was a wonderful host while we were in London. He was very flexible about check in and check out time. He kindly bought us juice, milk and croissants on our first day. He provided us with a cell phone to use to make local calls. He helped us with our heavy bags and even walked us to St. Pancras station when we left. He was never intrusive but was always willing to answer our questions and always made us feel welcome. He was exactly what you hope a host will be! The apartment was very comfortable. The bathroom was great. The shower had good water pressure, and hot water was plentiful. The sink was very large, and there was also a separate tub. The bed was also completely comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need. The room was large and bright with a great view of onto Kings Cross Station. The neighborhood was great. Transportation could not be better. Multiple tube lines are right next door, and St. Pancras Station allows you to take the Eurostar from the same building as the apartment. The hotel, St. Pancras Renaissance, (also in the same building as St. Pancras Chambers) has been completely renovated. It is quite beautiful as is St Pancras Station. It is around the corner from the British Library. There is a wonderful restaurant, Grain Store, a short walk away in the Granary. From a talk with the manager of Grain Store we found out that the entire area is growing and developing. There will be many new shops and restaurants that are due to open before 2016. In short, you could not find a better situation than Peter's studio apartment in St. Pancras Chambers. We highly recommend it and hope to be able to return.

    Helene2014-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's friend Tim was on hand to give us a personal guided tour of this amazing apartment. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a special experience in London.

  • We were really looking forward to staying in this historic building, and we weren't disappointed. The guest suite has plenty of space and the view over the city is great at any time of day or night. Seeing inside the clocktower room was an added bonus. We also explored the backstairs in the building: from there, you get a great view down into the main railway station. When we had visitors on bikes, the concierge was extremely helpful about access to secure storage. So all in all, a lovely stay.

  • This was my family's first airb&b experience and it was a great initiation. Our completely self contained apartment within Peter's amazing clock tower apartment was very comfortable, stylish and spotless. Peter was a very good host and he and his partner made us very welcome. When the previous guest left early, Peter very generously contacted us offering the extra night free. On the second night another guest's birthday soirée included a fabulous classical concert on the grand piano in the clock tower room which we all enjoyed immensely. This is a visit we will remember for a long time and every time we pass through St Pancras. Mark (and Margarita and Isla)

Beautiful, recently renovated flat in an Edwardian terrace with a cosy, light and airy double bedroom for 2 guests and a small double room for 1 additional guest. Charming period features, quiet location, stylish new bathroom with an excellent shower and a back garden. Just a 17 min walk to Elephant and Castle station, zone 1 so all the attractions of central London are a short journey away, while you have peace and quiet when you want it. Renovations on hold, flat is clean and dust free.
The flat is clean and dust free as I am currently taking a break from renovation, although there is still more to do in the future, I won't be doing any while you are staying! I have loved doing the work and have taken care and attention over it. I have a feather duvet and pillows on the bed so it might not suitable for people with serious allergies. I provide clean sheets and towels and basket of shampoo, conditioner and showers gels so you can pack light if you need to. I currently have a flatmate who lives with me during the week when she's not in Paris so the room is generally only available from Thursday to Sunday. I keep my calendar up to date to ensure no one is disappointed. Children are welcome but as the renovations are not completely finished I would not recommend the flat for young children. Infants are also welcome but there is limited space in the bedrooms, so unfortunately not room for a cot in the bedroom if you are planning to have other people stay too.
Elephant and Castle is a really vibrant area, it is in the process of being majorly regenerated and it is going to be really interesting to see how it changes. It is surprising central and a great location to be based to get to the rest of London from. There are some great inexpensive places to eat locally, and some really brilliant places within a 30 minute walk or a shorter bus ride.
  • Very nicely decorated and well equipped flat, quiet and peaceful without being too far away from the city centre. We had a very nice weekend break.

  • Alice was a wonderful host. She gave us helpful tips to move around the area. The apartment was clean and comfortable and she was really welcoming.

    Camila2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Alice's house is beautiful, the street is quiet and in a lovely part of London. Easily accessible to the centre of the city! Alice is welcoming and a very warm person, and anyone with an eye for architecture or design will enjoy staying here

    Anne Marie2016-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice host, and very nice house. The host is very kind.

  • Alice was an amazing host. She had clean linens ready for me and told me about all of the great places to visit while in London. She made my stay very enjoyable.

    Anthony2015-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Alice is a charming and attentive host and I found everything in her home just as she described it. Alice was in the middle of a major redecorating and improvement project which I fully expected as she had warned me beforehand. Everything was, however, spotlessly clean and at no time did I have to hop over paint cans or wear a mask because of dust or fumes! My room was cosy, the bed comfortable and the bathroom "just right". I was attending a weekend training in Regents Park and proximity to frequent bus and tube services helped simplify travel. Would I go back? Yes. Would I recommend to a friend? Yes. Thank you, Alice.

    Don2015-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great weekend in London. Alice's communication was first class as was the accuracy of the description of her flat. It was also excellent value for money. Particularly liked the courtyard garden.

    Craig2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely wonderful flat, I credibly creative with the use of space and lighting. We had an amazing time staying at Alice's, she was ki d enough to let us check in early and out late, accommodated us when we needed it most. She also left us a great little guide for london as it was our first time there and we loved all her suggestions! Would definitely go back again and I highly recommend !

  • The Muse Haus was a great base for exploring London for the weekend, and exactly as its described and shown in the photos! The check in system worked perfectly, and having use of the living room and kitchen made the stay much more comfortable. Would definitely recommend for an affordable room within a short distance from all London's attractions.

    Laura2016-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Riverside room was very large and had two comfortable beds for the 3 of us! The shared bathroom was kept very clean and had shampoo, conditioner, body wash to use. We didn't cook in the kitchen, however, we did enjoy the cereal and coffee in the mornings. The bars, restaurants, and shopping are a close 15-20 min walk away. Two tube stations are also nearby to access the center of the city. Check-in and out were easy w the detailed instructions, thanks!

  • Padraic is an amazing host, he help us with all the doubts about the area, is like 10 min walk to London eye and Big Ben ... less than 5 min to a underground station, and he makes really good breakfast as well I recomend this place for your holidays in London

    Dulce Maria2017-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! The room and the house are very clean. We didn't have the chance to meet with Padraic but we met her roomate Anna who was very welcoming!

    Amélie 2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place a little gem in the centre of London! Quiet enough for a good nights sleep, but close enough to everything you might need (tube stations, museums etc.) I would definitely recommend this place! A bonus is that Padraic is lovely and couldn't be more helpful.

    Florence2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • The room is set up like a mini hotel room. Clean glasses, water bottles, mini kettle, tea and coffee with milk and sugar. Even a US to UK plug adapter. We never met Padraic face to face, due to bad timing and we weren't there much. But there was always great communication. I wouldn't recommend the surrounding area for everyone, but we feel it's safe as the people we interacted with were very nice and it's across the road from a police station.

    James2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • We have an excellent experience here, the room is clean and tidy, people are so niiiiice here, and there is also a lovely cat. The house is really very well located. And at the last day I've forgot my earing in the room and padraic told me immediately that was cool !!!

    Lin2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Padraic's place is a great location to observe London, easy access to public transport. I stayed here for one night. Padraic was very welcoming , friendly, helpful and easy to communicate. The room and the bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfy. Recommend highly! 10/10.

  • Had a grate time room was clean, bed was comfortable and it was easy to find. Stefano and Sofia were both really nice and easy to get on with and were more than happy to share advice and tips.

    Adam2015-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Stefano was a very nice host and welcomed us warmly, which made us feel at home right now. The flat is quite well located (5 minutes walk from Spitafield market and very near the tube). It is very clean even if the room is tiny. I won't hesitate to come back and would definitely recommend it

    Martin2015-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, nice room, Staphano was very helpful.

    brad2015-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We didn't end up spending much time in the apartment as we had some long days at our conference. We had a warm welcome on arrival. The place was comfortable (if a little tired compared to the photos online). Lots of nice touches with free food and amenities we could help ourselves to if we wished. It can be busy in the mornings for use of the bathroom - having 2 toilets is really useful (but there's only one shower in the property). All in all a comfortable stay and very reasonable price compared to local hotels. Recommended.

    Anna-Marie2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • The room is fine also you can cook in the house. The area is quiet and both Stefano and his very nice fellow .

    Gines2015-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Stefano's and Sofia's flat is very close to the Tower Bridge as it is described at airbnb. The way takes about 5 - 10 min by foot. Therefore we took the tube at the station "Tower Hill" which is very wise if you want to go to Big Ben, House of Parliaments etc. because no transfers are needed. Stefano and Sofia are friendly and they helped us in every situation like storing our luggage when we arrived and before we left and giving tips when we had questions. They also took time talking to you in a pleasant atmosphere that we felt like being home directly. The only thing that I would recommend to improve is the functioning and cleanness of the bathroom. All in all a very good alternative to a hotel or a hostel if you are arriving early/leaving late and want to save some money or you want to cook instead of eating fast food every day because you have a kitchen. I would warmly recommend to stay at this place to everyone.

    Niklas2015-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stefano is a very good, helpfull and friendly host. And he draws great maps from the metrostations, supermarkets etc to his appartment.:) I could recommand Stefano and his place to anybody, and if I would go back to London I would definately like to stay in his appartment again.

House is superbly located for the restaurants, bars and night life of clekernwell, Angel, Upper Street and Islington. Close to Exmouth Market. 10 minutes walk to Angel Station which is on the Northern Line. and 5 Min by bus to Kings cross station. you will share a bathroom a fully fitted kitchen and a huge leaving room with TV you will have the possibility to use the washing machine and dryer for free The room is private with key, We provide milk, cereals, coffe, tea and fresh fruits.
  • This is a nice place and although we were on the top (fourth floor) I liked that too. It felt very private. We shared the floor with one other unit with a half bath to share (toilet and sink). We needed to use a shower on the floor below. We did not use the living room or kitchen available on lower floors, but we did use the laundry. Very, very slow. The neighborhood is quiet and on the bus line so we found it convenient to walk up the street to restaurants and to catch the bus to visit the sights in downtown London. We enjoyed this place and would recommend it.

  • Very quick to respond and a very convenient location. Good for a night in the city, with good restaurants only 10 minutes away. Parking was also available if you are visiting in the evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30 am

  • Location was perfect

    Esther2016-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • It's kind of a youth hostel. Every room is rented and we share the bathrooms, the kitchen and a small living room. The bed was far too small for 2 people (120cm) and we can hear trains pass near the flat very frequently (all the trains coming and going from Kings Cross Station and St Pancras International). The kitchen was okay and you can serve your breakfast with cereals and a lot of fruit. We didn't see Ricardo and Luis a lot but the communication was very good and easy with them.

    Femke2016-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our experience at Judith&Luis's airbnb was good! The place is like a hotel really. We had the room at the top with the terrace, and the shared bathroom were very clean. The whole place is very quiet and cosy, and guests are provided with free fruits & cereals available in the kitchen. Very near from king's cross!

    Axelle2016-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first stay anywhere using Airbnb and will definitely be encouraged to use it again after this. The place was clean and really warm and had everything you'd need. Was only a short walk to Kings X station, no stress checking in and out and Luis and Ricardo checked in on us to make sure everything was OK, whiles also giving us the space to just do our own thing.

    Susie2016-11-19T00:00:00Z

Hi, my name is Tom. Welcome to my home. I'm the resident and manager of the Brick Lane apartment. Excellent location (Zone 1): Closest tube-Liverpool Street, Shoreditch and Old Street Vibrant neighbourhood consisting of many bars, restaurants and a pop-up mall. Very close to Beigel Bake, Rich Mix and Pizza East. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.
The walls of the apartment are covered in art work and guests are always amazed by the interesting style of the place. Most importantly I am very sociable, friendly and always interested in meeting new people. I spend much of my time showing guests the unique and interesting things to do in London that you would never find in a travel guide. For a few weeks of the year you might be sharing the apartment with other Airbnb guests.
  • Great location in Shoreditch. Such a nice part of London to life in, great food, nice markets on weekends, good nightlife. Tom, who lives in the appartement as well, gave us great advice of where to go and what to see. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!

I was worried that being on the second floor would lead to no sleep, but I didn't have that at all. Nice, quiet, fully equipped apartment in one of the coolest parts of town. Tom was an overly gracious and nice host, offering me a beer and some curry when I came in after a long day of travel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Derek2017-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, stylish interior, clean and cozy! Tom was very friendly. He asked me to join his dinner and cooked me traditional foods and pasta. He prepared a very clean and cozy room before I arrived. Especially he prepared Bluetooth speaker in his room. He makes the room like home. I will recommend my friend to stay in his house.

    Joy2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice accommodation! Would go there again any time!

  • Thanks tom, for your hospitality. Was a great stay, special and interesting area great room and cleanly recommended for a stay in london many thanks

  • One word to describe the stay "WONDERFUL" My own opinion towards the stay was pleasant. The design of the apartment is modern which me and my friend absolutely loved. Everything is well-prepared, clean and furnitures are new too. We were attended by Tom and Peter and there were attentive, also, treated us like a friend. Location wise is another point which I need to highlight. It's close to everything that you would need, bakery, convenience store, bar, souvenirs shop, and even more happening during weekends due to bazaar. There were several restaurants near the property. This was overall an exceptional stay.

Private room available for up to 4 people in Brick Lane with private balcony in a 4 bedroom apartment. we provide fresh bed linen and towels. Please note you will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with other guests. Feel free to book it
Nice room for up to 4 people with private balcony near Brick Lane. The room comes with double bed and double sofa bed. Private balcony, bedside table with lamp, wardrobe. big windows, lots of light. Mirror for the best look :)
It's the most fun place to be in London. Brick Lane has a party atmosphere every evening and this flat is just far enough away that you don't get the noise. Shoreditch is 5 minutes walk away. It has a great night life at the weekend. The most exciting restaurants, cafés and bars in London open in this neighbourhood. The area has a rich and fascinating history, which can be enjoyed through one of the walking tours available. The Jack the Ripper tour is very popular. There are many artists, galleries and artist studios nearby. One can even go on a tour of the artist Banksy's work in the area. You are also 15 minutes walk to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. These are very popular for a first time visitor to London. You can actually get a boat from there to anywhere else on the river for £6. You can also get on a historic routemaster bus from there to Trafalgar Square. The Gherkin is 15 minutes walk away. It's probably London's most iconic skyscraper. There's a lot to see and do in the area. Within a mile there hundreds of bars, restaurants and cafés. The flat is technically in the parish of Spitalfields. The Spitalfields market is the nicest in London and there are also nine other markets in the area, which are a fascinating exploration in themselves.
  • Stying at Emran was really good. The location of accomodation is really good. We didn't have to use bus or underground, everything is very near to the accomodation. Description of location of the accomodation and the key box is very good and we found everything very easily. The Room A is very good. One big bed for two people and one couch for two people are sufficient. Kitchen was good but we didn't use it much. Bathroom was not so beautiful, but for taking shower sufficient. The only problem was with the water - we didn't know how to set it, so it was just too cold or too hot. I'm giving 5 stars to Emran. If anyone would like to know more, you can send me a message and I will try to response.

    Tereza2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The room is exactly as described. Clean and comfortable. Great location as walking distance from Shoreditch/Brick lane, also close to central London.

    amrita2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Emran's flat was really really good. We were constantly in contact and he was always there to help. The room we stayed in looked really nice and clean and had a big window so it was nice to have the sun shine into the room. It was easy to get the keys, as he couldn't be there to meet us. The beds were comfortable and nicely made when we arrived. We shared the kitchen and bathroom with other guests but we had no problems with them. I can really recommend his flat as it is also only 15-20 minutes walk from Liverpool Street station which is perfect if you need to catch a train to Stansted airport early in the morning and the tube is nor running yet. Really enjoyed the stay!

  • It was a real pleasure to stay with Jae. Jae is very friendly and helpful. The apartment corresponds well to photos and the room is spacious with a comfortable bed. Also the apartment is very well located, near the metro and a few stops from the center.

  • The host canceled this reservation 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

    Alessandro2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay to explore London. Very good and central location with a short walk to the tube. Jae is a very friendly host willing to help you out and nice to talk to! The house seems to have somewhat thin walls though, so you will be able to hear sounds from the rest of the apartment and the neighbors. It was not a problem to us but if you are sensitive to this it might be a little bothersome. Otherwise, we can totally recommend!

    Antonia2017-08-29T00:00:00Z

  • Wow, the first time I've used Airbnb and what an experience. Seb's apartment is amazing and everything you could ask for plus in a great location. Thank you. If I'm coming back to London I'll definitely be booking here again.

    Emma2016-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • I really like to stay Seb's place again if I am going to London next time !!! Seb is a nice person , helpful , reliable , thorough ! He explained everything with good humor when we checked in ( we can never meet owner from Airbnb in Japan so I was surprised ) His place is clean , decorated comfortable , big ,quiet , there are beautiful balcony , comfortable bed in the room nice bathtub ( you can take a bath with LUSH bath bomb to relax ). It also has a good location , just few mins walking to subway station and bus station !!! So convince I entirely recommend this place to you guys , staying at his place will make you love London more !

    Aya2017-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing place, definitely would recommend to anyone planning on staying in London

    Seena2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Seb's place is incredible! The apartment is modern, spacious, clean and has the most amazing views of London. It is located just behind the Thames South Bank (you can see The London Eye from the apartment) and super close to Westminster (i.e. Big Ben). A supermarket, cute coffee shop and a gym are right on his doorstep. The apartment and room are surprisingly quiet for being in such a busy area, therefore getting a good night's sleep was not a problem. Seb was very helpful before and on arrival. One thing to mention is that there is no TV in the bedroom as shown in photos, but I was so busy and out a lot therefore I didn't mind. Would definitely stay here again!

    Claire2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Apartment is pretty amazing, love style of this place, location is quite central and host is super polite

    Si zhu2016-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • It's a nice stay at Seb's place. Although he was not in town when I arrived, he managed to have a helper to wait for my check in. His hospitality is superb and he managed to stop by during the week and we had a nice catch up. His place is chic & clean. It's also very convenient! I really enjoyed the walk alongside the bank, all the way to the Globe. Or, walk through the Westminster Bridge towards Covant Garden. The little coffee shop on Lower Marsh, Four Corners, is my favorite place for a nice coffee every morning. I'd love to stay at his place again!

    Agnes2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Nice apartment and of course Seb is a great host! I will definitely choose this place again when I come back to London in the future

Double room available close to Tower Bridge area. Check in at any time. The station is just 2min walk from the flat, many local buses. Including night buses. Great, safe residential area, the river and pond nearby. Local shop just outisde.
The listing is for a double room that would accomodate 2people. The guests will have access to the kitchen and all aminities in the kitchen (oven, fridge, wasching machine, dish washer). The flat is just 3min walk from the river thus it is a great residential area, ideal for walking and jogging.
  • Great stay. Very clean and big room. Perfect location in central London. Thin walls, but should not be an issue with quiet guests. Great service from Pat as well!

    Eugenie2016-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Pat's house is very convenient to have a visit in London. It's near to bus station and overground about 2mins. In addition, Pat is very nice! Pat always give you a help if you ask. For example, she can tell you which route is the best way if you want to go somewhere.

    Nan2016-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Pat's place was very enjoyable. Her flat was very nice and clean, and a super short walk away from the tube station which made it easy to go into Central London. Although we didn't get to meet she was a great host and staying at her place made staying in London an enjoyable experience.

    Nestor 2016-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Good location, very good transport links and nice walking area nearby. Place is a bit shabby and could use some renovation. Bathroom fairly unpleasant. Kitchen functional. Alex's brother seemed friendly and helpful, minimal interaction..

    William J.2015-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and clean place to stay. Not far from Canada Water Tube Station/overground/ or bus station as such it is very convenient. Highly recommended!

    QiCai2015-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • I was met by Alex’s brother who was very pleasant and welcoming. He gave me as much information as he could and made sure I had everything I needed. The listing was accurate and comparable to the price apart from my bed being unclean which I'm putting down to the fact that I booked very short notice but overall was nice. The neighbourhood was nice and as its very close to the river, the scenery was lovely.

    Kamil2015-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • The location is convenient to the metro (both Underground & Overground) and in a quiet neighborhood. Accommodation was simple and functional - though the heat could be a bit warmer for winter. Access to the home's amenities were readily available, though there was a lack of charm in the welcoming, which made the stay a bit like crashing a pad. Unfortunately the stay was cut short, due to a complication with the locks on the front door. If you're looking for an efficient stay (sleep, eat, shower, etc.) and you have minimum hospitality expectations, this is your spot.

    Andrew2015-12-22T00:00:00Z

We have a very special room in our house waiting for you! Spacious and cosy, just perfect to relax after a busy day out around London. The room has a single bed, wireless internet, fresh bath towels and bed linen, duvets and extra blanket. the room can accomodate 2 people, it has a single bed and also a futton mattress on the floor, it is a double futton mattress so when on the room there would be very little space in the bedroom to go around.
Our room is spacious and bright, has a single bed so you can relax after a day out, soft pillows and warm duvets.
Our neighborhood is very friendly, very quiet as well. we have a small supermarket just in the corner as well a off license where you can top up you oyster card. There is also a launderette if guests need to wash their clothes.

  • My stay at Ana's place was very enjoyable. The location was convenient for me to get to work and meetings in Victoria and with Brixton, Brockwell Park and Herne Hill all walkable it was great place to relax in as well. The room itself was large enough for two and had good cupboard space and a desk, the large windows were also a plus. Ana is a great host, very welcoming and friendly and available to contact whenever needed. Will look to stay here again when in London next.

The street is quiet but lively, and exceptionally friendly - there are many young families living here as well as people working in all areas of the arts. The famous bakery at the end of the street, Konditor & Cook, is a daily temptation that's hard to resist. We are in the heart of the London arts scene, too, with the National Theatre, the Old Vic, and the Young Vic are 5 mins walk away, as well as the Southbank Centre with its concert halls and art galleries. • The location is unbeatable and the common areas of the house are clean, but the only one thing I would suggest to improve is to get some new pillows and a new quilt because the existing ones are quite disgusting! Given that this room price in London, I can't ask for more. Also Ann & Edison always responded quickly though they don't live there.

  • The location is perfect. It's just a three minute walk from the Waterloo underground station, making it really convenient to get anywhere in the city, but especially to the major sightseeing spots. I especially loved that it was just a few doors down from a bakery with excellent cakes and coffee! Edison is very communicative and responsive, making the process very easy.

  • If you're looking for a room central and good value this will work for you. 8 rooms and only one bathroom working when 2 are listed means a long wait of a shower. Very busy place so a little noisy. We where on the top floor with 4 stair cases, and the light was out on the stairs. Reported to the cleaning lady 3 days in a row and it wasn't fixed. Overall was ok, clean, secure.

  • The accommodation was comfortable, cosy and perfectly located, with only a very short walk to the Tube. Tibor was a helpful and friendly host, who made check-in very easy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay.

Enjoy a warm welcome to a comfortable room in a friendly houseshare in Zone 1, very close to Kings Cross, the Eurostar, Camden and Euston. Play pinball in a refurbished open-plan living space and garden, and help yourself to free breakfast + BEER!
Very central large recently refurbished townhouse in Kings Cross. The house is shared with myself and other airbnb guests, and is relaxed, friendly and fun! The bedroom is comfy and the shared bathrooms are newly decorated. The ground floor is a big open-plan space with a sunny garden, a cool kitchen with an American fridge full of water and beer to help yourself to. There's a pinball machine set to freeplay and a big-screen tv with sky movies. Finally, I'm a very friendly host and am always up for a beer and a chat! You will be given your own fob and key for anytime access. This is a friendly houseshare, but your bedroom is private and you won't be disturbed if you prefer privacy. Vibrant, funky and very close to the west end. Kings Cross is the best-connected transport hub in london! Fun and friendly host! You will be given your own fob and key for anytime access. • Paul was a great host. Easy-going and friendly. The room was lovely and comfortable and had a huuuuge TV. The decor around the flat was cool too. We were offered a beer on arrival which is always a plus! Would definitely recommend. :)

  • Paul was a fantastic host who was always quick to reply when I had questions and was also very accommodating to my late arrival/very early departure. I'd recommend him to anyone staying in the area!

  • Awesome flat in London. Paul was very responsive and quick to accommodate us. I wish everybody on AirBnb operated like Paul!

  • Paul is a nice host with great hospitality and generous to his guests. We feel happy to find this relaxing and comfortable place with good location to stay as well.

    Nicole2016-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Really great place and stay; could use a bit more clarity around check in. Even after messaging Paul prior to check in and asking for directions on how to get in to the house, we arrived to a locked gate and no way of knowing where we were going or who to contact to get inside. Lucky a neighbor let us in the gate, after which we turned on international cell service to call Paul who then gave us further instruction. Besides that, cool atmosphere, clean and within walking distance of Kings Cross! Would recommend.

    Leah2017-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The place is as advertised, great location close to Kings Cross/St Pancras. You do share a bathroom with other guests who use the flat as an AirBnB but that wasn't a problem. Recommend staying here and yes it is free beer as advertised!

  • Ben is a very warm-hearted landlord who always offers advice on how to travel. Ben's home is also a sweet home, the bed mattress is soft and the facilities are complete. I'll come back to London next time, and I'll choose here.

    Joanna2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for one night, therefore I didn't have much time to communicate. But the place was spacious, relaxing ad calm.

    Talal2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely worth staying with Ben! He is a very accommodating host. Our train from Manchester came in late at 11:30 pm and he was absolutely pleasant about it. His home is simple, clean and has all of the amenities that you would need while in London. Close to plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. Only few minutes from Paddington Station. It's nothing posh, but it's comfortable and quiet, 150% worth the value. I've stayed with Airbnb hosts throughout the world and I think my stay with the Ben was made the easiest and most convenient! Would definitely recommend him.

    kim2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • As described Very friendly helpful host Great value Very comfortable large room Recommend to all

    James2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • I had a comfortable stay at Ben's place. The place was really clean and tidy, and the room was as described. The room I was staying at was on the second floor and was provided with a kettle, fridge, coffee, and tea bags in the communal area on the same floor. This was really helpful to me as it prevented me from having to go to the kitchen (on the ground floor) multiple times. It's very close to tube stations. And there are many restaurants, coffee shops, and a supermarket within 2 mins walking distance. The host was very friendly. Ben's replies were prompt and made communication very easy. It scores high on all aspects.

    Neela2017-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Location is perfect if you gonna spend only one night to take the train in Paddington. Ben was very easy to communicate online but the room needs a urgent upgrade . I believe they are new in the market and have a lot of room to improve the accommodation. Myself I've been In dozens of very nice Airbnbs so I wouldn't come back. It was a bit unnerving when at 11pm checkin I was asked to disinfect my hands before coming in the house.

    Sol2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! Highly recommended. Ben is very helpful and friendly!

  • We were warmly welcomed by friends of Juri's, they let us check in early since our room was ready. They were very helpful and informative about where things were in the house. The pictures are accurate, it was very clean and a cute cozy place to stay. The location was great for us, we loved Chiswick and it was easily accessible to both Heathrow and downtown London. We loved it so much we have already booked our second stay there as we're passing through London again. Highly recommended!

Soho is the entertainment district, 2 mins to tube! 5 floor building. No lift. Basic, clean rooms with personal kitchenette. Fresh bedding, towels. Cleaning fee included. Noisy outside until 1-2am. Shared shower, toilet on each floor & laundry room.
We are a family owned building and have been providing residential space in Soho for 35 years. The building is over 100 years old! Rooms are equipped with cooking facilities and showers and toilets are shared with each floor (3 rooms per floor).
Soho is the heart of London. The theatre district, the restaurant quarter, full of bars and nightclubs and close to shopping for every taste, Soho is also the epicentre of LGBT London. Often glamorous, always seedy, never boring! A food supermarket next door open until 11pm every day. We are 10 minute's walk to Chinatown, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Big Ben & Buckingham Palace.§
  • Host is a nice woman, I will live there next time

  • Located right in the middle of Soho, this is an incredible place if you're looking to be in the middle of the nightlife and explore the area (and don't mind street noise until 2:00-3:00AM. In an unassuming location in the middle of Rupert Street, you can walk out the door in the morning to bustling crowds and street vendors. Recommended for the solo or duo adventurer.

    Noelle2016-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Good location in the middle of Soho. Easy check in. The cleaner were so kind and helpful with us. The room was a bit dissapointed all furniture and a bit broken. Bed was comfortable but was on the top of the stairs over the door and it was no bars so it was a bit scaring sleeping so high. The window was facing to a bar but around 00.00 it was closed so not noisy at all Generally good experience here.

    Chema2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • The room was clean and practical with the kitchenette. It is very very well located in Soho in a very cool street not far from Carnaby ; at night you can do everything on foot and not worry about the time. There is a bar literally in front of the window though, so you have to be a kind of a night owl! (or to be a deep sleeper!) The system to get the keys is very easy and practical. Nice for a week-end !

    Ariane2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • The room was as advertised. It is great for the bare necessities and is in a solid location! I didn't have any issues during my stay. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting London.

    Adam2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • It was our first experience with Airbnb so we weren't sure what to expect, but everything was great. The location was awesome for us since we were going to see some shows in the west end, and we didn't have any problems with it being to loud at night at all. Would defiantly stay again if going to see shows at the West end.
