  • Tess was a pleasure to deal with,so prompt with our queries and even organised an extra bed for us last minute. The apartment was gorgeous and clean and comfortable. We loved the garden and the unit was a home away from home. Great for getting to the train and easy walk to shops and pubs etc.

  • Beautiful, spacious, comfortable flat less than 10 minutes walk from the tube. Couldn't have asked for a better place to recover from our manic travel. Great to explore a new neighbourhood-really liked the park (Queens Park) so close by. Tess was extremely attentive to every detail & possessed a high sense of urgency surrounding all of our queries and requests.

  • Lovely flat, great host, great location.

  • This place is fantastic. The location is great, it's clean, the garden is lovely, it's sunny and new. I can't say enough good things about Tess and this wonderful flat. Really it was perfect. We were in town for 2 nights on our way to the country full of jetlag and excitement. How wonderful to arrive in this flat with great cafes just down the road. Super close to the tube station. Tess helped to make us comfortable by being a good and available communicator and most importantly, by being warm, considerate and helpful from the first message. She's a lovely person with great taste. We highly recommend staying here if you are in London, you won't be disappointed.

  • I spent 5 days at Tess' flat with my family and it was fantastic! The accommodation is exactly like it's shown on the pictures and lovely decorated. The Check-In was very easy and everything went well! Tess is a really warmhearted person and very friendly. Everything essential like restaurants, supermarkets and underground is really near by. All in all this Airbnb flat is perfect! I would recommend it to everyone who wants to spend a vacation in London and i couldn't find any negative thing to say.

    Katharina2017-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Tess is a wonderful host and the apartment is delightful, full of characters. We only wish we can stay a few more days. It's certainly one of the best experience we had with airbnb.

    Yeats2016-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Tess's place is perfect for a family exploring London. Public transport is an easy walk to either the underground from Queens Park, or the bus from Kilburn High Road. We found the underground took us everywhere we needed to go with ease. The apartment is warm and cosy and bedding very comfortable. Tess provides little extras which make the place very homely and allow for a family to easily self-cater. The kitchen is well equipped, and the ability to wash and dry clothing is fabulous when traveling. We had a wonderful stay.

    Tania2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • The flat is absolutely gorgeous! Tess is extremely responsive to all our questions while visiting. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is amazing. We stayed with our 2 year old daughter and Tess had a portable crib already set up. So thoughtful. Lastly, the beautiful veranda dining area and outdoor patio/garden is a great oasis at the beginning of the day for a cup of coffee and after a glass of wine after long day of exploring London. Shops/Groceries are steps away. I recommend getting fresh fruits and veggies at the corner stand. We hope we can come back and stay there again soon!

If you want to experience London at it's best then come to Camden. This area of London is central, safe, and packed full of cafes, bars, famous nightclubs, music venues and the world famous Camden Market along with beautiful parks and Primrose Hill.
I live in the heart of Camden Town, in a late Georgian terrace of houses within a Conservation area, right in the centre of London. My flat is richly decorated which reflects the work that I do as a Textile Artist. My walls are covered with my choice of vintage finds, antiques and objets d'art. My Flat on 1st and 2nd Floor 16 sq mtrs: SITTING ROOM/BEDROOM: You will be staying (with me) in my sitting room on a comfy sofa bed. You will get complete privacy during your stay in my sitting room. This large sunny room has two big windows with wooden shutters and a big fire place. There will be fresh bedlinen, a choice of pillows, towels, big duvets and hot water bottles. There is a hanger rail for your clothes. **I provide earplugs for you as I am on a main road. **1 extra small child can stay on AIR MATTRESSES or ONE EXTRA adult. This will be like CAMPING but is appreciated by families on a tight budget... or for a family for the weekend. You have free Wi Fi, TV, DVD and information about what is going on in London, with maps and guidebooks. KITCHEN: You can use my kitchen whilst staying with me. There is unlimited tea and coffee, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, a fridge, iron and ironing board. I do not have an electric dryer - I hang clothes on a dryer in the hallway. **I don't supply breakfast but Arancini's ( 1 minute walk) has great food and Mario's is around the corner (with his own mini Art gallery). ** For 3 people to eat at the kitchen table is slightly tight... see the pictures. BATHROOM: You will be sharing the bathroom with me. I supply big towels, hairdryers and a few shampoos etc. GUEST WELCOME: I always try to welcome guests personally but if I am not around I make other arrangements for you as well as key access. • Very comfortable bed. Good location for getting into Central London. Plenty of local amenities for eating and entertainment. I never met Tessa as I was only there for one night but everything was where she said it would be so that wasn't a problem. Would definitely stay there again.

  • Tessa was a wonderful host. She was warm, caring, and open. She supported whatever we wanted to do, and so kindly helped us to get places and to find whatever we needed. Her home is absolutely a wonder! You are surrounded by sumptuous color and objects that all work brilliantly together. Thank you, Tessa for a lovely respite at the end of a busy day.

  • Tessa is a very welcoming host. Her house is amazing : crowded with curios of all kinds. I had a "bijou" bedroom with lots of framed pictures and exotic items, velvet cushions, old golden mirrors, a chandelier ... which gave me a very cosy feeling.

  • Vicky was very welcoming. She had a couple of books on London we could look through and even loaned us her London A-Z map book. I liked the chalk board she used to provide us with information when she wasn’t there. I chose Vicky’s place because it looked like a charming home and was close to the tube stop and Heathrow. I was not disappointed. Vicky’s easy going nature just made it better. I would try to stay there again if it was possible.

    Tina2014-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Vicky is a great host. She gave us directions in advanced to get to her house and when we got lost it was easy to find our way with her help. She's very nice and talkative and helps you with whatever problem you may have. She even let us messages every morning in the kitchen. As for the house it is really cozy. The room is confortable and full of light, we could get real good sleep. We had our own bathroom, which is nice and clean. Vicky also offers a great breakfast to start the day with energy, we were lucky with the weather and could enjoy sunny breakfasts in the backyard. The backyard does not look as nice as in the picture, but is great anyway. The location is very convenient. Close to Baron's Court metro station where you can access Piccadilly and District lines. The neighborhood is quiet, good for resting, but has a couple of pubs nearby where you can enjoy a good pint. I totally recommend the place. And want to thank Vicky for being such a thoughtful host!

  • We found Vicky's home and hospitality unsurpassable. Everything about the stunning apartment was great. Vicky was incredibly obliging, providing a substantial breakfast for us which was an unexpected treat. We felt very at home and our host allowed us a great deal of privacy. The location was convenient and made travel to the city centre via tube quick and stress free. Lovely neighborhood too. We would not hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended!

  • Amazing house in a very convenient location. Very close to the underground station and a short ride away from central London. Beds were divinely comfy. Vicky is also a lovely host; wicked helpful and such a pleasure to talk to. She also goes out of her way to make you feel welcome; my dad and I very much appreciated the simple breakfast spread she would put out each morning. Lovely lovely place and I wouldn't think twice about how staying here again next I'm in London.

  • Vicky ist a great host. Very friendly, attentive and cooperative - and discreet, too. We found her house, which is really stylish, in a small and quiet road, five minutes walk from the next tube station. The bedrooms are equipped with a few pleasant furnitures. We really enjoyed our stay at Vicky's house and we can only recommend it to others.

A mini apartment within the clock tower apartment at St Pancras Station, with its own en suite bathroom and kitchen and sitting area. It sits in Sir George Gilbert Scott's gothic revival railway hotel building from 1868. Ideal for 1 week holidays.
The apartment is in the clock tower above St Pancras International Station. This guest suite with a double bedroom on the 4th floor looks out over Kings Cross Station. The apartment has another double bedroom, also on the 4th floor being used by the owner or by other guests. This guest suite has all its own facilities not shared with others including in addition to the bed, a living area, a small kitchen/dining area and its own bathroom and shower. As the apartment is on the 4th and 5th floors and fully equipped with secondary glazing, the road and railway noise is very low and almost nobody notices it but I would advise delicate sleepers to be aware of it before booking. The suite is available for short or long-term letting and ideally suits couples on holiday in London for a few days or a week. There is additional bedding available by prior arrangement if one or two others want to stay but THIS IS NOT A LISTING FOR 4 ADULTS. IT IS A DOUBLE BEDROOM AND WE CAN PUT ONE OR TWO MATTRESSES DOWN FOR EXAMPLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN SHARING WITH PARENTS. THIS NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED WITH THE HOST AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. Clean towels are provided as standard as are soap/shampoo. This listing is very heavily booked but it may be worth looking on my other listing (ST PANCRAS CLOCK TOWER MASTER SUITE) which is for the master bedroom which I let out when I am not using it. The main difference is that you would then use the main kitchen on the 5th floor. Or contact me with an enquiry and I will let you know. Little things are provided in the apartment, such as a hairdryer, international plug adaptors and umbrellas. Let me know if you need London Oyster cards for public transport (electronic cards for you to use and top up). The clock tower was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott like a medieval bell chamber but never held bells. The clock never has and does not ring. On the 5th floor, the clock tower room's height lends itself to some extraordinary events. Search YouTube for videos of artists on a rope.
Neighbourhood It is within walking distance of many of London's sights, from the British Library next door to the British Museum and the West End 20-25 minutes away. There are lots of shops in St Pancras Station. The best mainstream grocery store nearby is Waitrose to the north of the canal between the two stations. There is more public transport within 100m than almost anywhere else on the planet (buses, metro, rail). What is really exciting about Kings Cross now is its pace of development. The world's leading search engine company has its European HQ offices here (and provides a number of guests!) as do many other businesses. As offices are completed, they are fully let such is the demand for space in this area. The opening of new restaurants and shopping facilities now and over the coming years is transforming a former post-industrial desert to one of the most exciting parts of the metropolis.
  • Everything about my stay at the Clock Tower was positive. Peter is a true gentleman, quick and polite communicator and flexible with arrangements. He clearly has a great love for his property and this shines through in its cleanliness, functionality and environment. I don't have anything negative to say about my experience. Having been a regular visitor to London over the years, this stay added a nice point of difference for me and I can only recommend it if you have the opportunity.

    Nathan2012-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The St Pancras clock tower was a truly great experience. If you get a chance to stay here I highly recommend it. Both Peter and Tim are really great and so welcoming to this incredible space they choose to share. The bedroom is very large and has everything you need in the kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Make sure you take some time to appreciate the main clock tower room also as its such a great space. Overall a great experience.

  • Stunning venue and warm and lovely host. Thanks peter. We will definitely be back

    Tina2015-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • It is a precious opportunity to stay in the Clock Tower. Thanks Peter for ensuring us a comfortable stay during the tube strike, from transportation to sight-seeing advice. My daughters was fascinated by the wide-range of book collection in the tower. Cannot wait to return next time.

    Aries2015-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's St Pancras clock tower would be hard to beat as the perfect place to stay in London. And Peter is a generous host - even going to the trouble of meeting our Eurostar trip from Paris. The apartment is well laid out and luxuriously appointed, with a very comfortable bed, plenty of storage and hanging space, an extensive library of books on London - and an impressive view over King's Cross Station. A measure of Peter's generosity is that he is happy for guests to make use of his living area and kitchen when he's not about. We completely enjoyed every minute of our 8 days in London, and Peter and his apartment were very much a part of that enjoyment.

    Kym2012-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • It was a wonderful first Airbnb experience at Peter's clock tower suite. Peter is a very considerate and resourceful host who anticipated every needs of his guests thoroughly. I enquired about coffee and wifi. He provided fine Italian coffee and choice of French press and electric coffee maker. Internet worked consistently in all area with excellent signal. I highly recommend Peter's place for both modern convenience and historic charm. The concierge front desk and proximity to the hotel and transportation make this an ideal stay for business and vacation. I look forward to visiting again!

    Daryl2014-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • My recent stay in the smaller guest apartment at St Pancras Clock Tower was enjoyable and for me owed its appeal to two qualities. One is Peter, who I met on the second day after the Easter holiday. Peter is a charming, amiable and knowledgeable man who is proud of his special apartment and respectful of his guests. The other “character” was the amazing St Pancras Station itself, with its magnificent heritage-protected architecture, fine hotel restaurants, and rich connections to the London Underground or international rail services. The apartment has been thoughtfully laid out with amenities to make a stay comfortable (e.g., quality bed, modern bathroom and kitchen) and has a home-like lived in feel and very unique spaces. This is not a blank-slate hotel-type apartment. As would be expected for a B&B style apartment, you can expect that guests in the other bedroom may be occupying the shared spaces, but there is the ability to lock up your own bedroom and belongings when you are out. Perhaps due to the Easter break the guest apartment was only partially serviced on arrival, but this sounds irregular. Peter demonstrated great integrity and thoughtfulness in handling this situation and I felt fully at ease when I met him. I was able to also purchase a signed copy of a book on St Pancras Station (author Simon Bradley) that Peter had available, being the bibliophile that he is, and I look forward to reading this, learning more about the building’s history and reliving pleasant memories of my stay. Thank you very much Peter!

    Anthony2014-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Airbnb experience, and it could not have been better. Peter is the perfect host. Even before we booked communication with Peter was always prompt, and he kindly answered all of my questions. He was a wonderful host while we were in London. He was very flexible about check in and check out time. He kindly bought us juice, milk and croissants on our first day. He provided us with a cell phone to use to make local calls. He helped us with our heavy bags and even walked us to St. Pancras station when we left. He was never intrusive but was always willing to answer our questions and always made us feel welcome. He was exactly what you hope a host will be! The apartment was very comfortable. The bathroom was great. The shower had good water pressure, and hot water was plentiful. The sink was very large, and there was also a separate tub. The bed was also completely comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need. The room was large and bright with a great view of onto Kings Cross Station. The neighborhood was great. Transportation could not be better. Multiple tube lines are right next door, and St. Pancras Station allows you to take the Eurostar from the same building as the apartment. The hotel, St. Pancras Renaissance, (also in the same building as St. Pancras Chambers) has been completely renovated. It is quite beautiful as is St Pancras Station. It is around the corner from the British Library. There is a wonderful restaurant, Grain Store, a short walk away in the Granary. From a talk with the manager of Grain Store we found out that the entire area is growing and developing. There will be many new shops and restaurants that are due to open before 2016. In short, you could not find a better situation than Peter's studio apartment in St. Pancras Chambers. We highly recommend it and hope to be able to return.

Beautiful, recently renovated flat in an Edwardian terrace with a cosy, light and airy double bedroom for 2 guests and a small double room for 1 additional guest. Charming period features, quiet location, stylish new bathroom with an excellent shower and a back garden. Just a 17 min walk to Elephant and Castle station, zone 1 so all the attractions of central London are a short journey away, while you have peace and quiet when you want it. Renovations on hold, flat is clean and dust free.
The flat is clean and dust free as I am currently taking a break from renovation, although there is still more to do in the future, I won't be doing any while you are staying! I have loved doing the work and have taken care and attention over it. I have a feather duvet and pillows on the bed so it might not suitable for people with serious allergies. I provide clean sheets and towels and basket of shampoo, conditioner and showers gels so you can pack light if you need to. I currently have a flatmate who lives with me during the week when she's not in Paris so the room is generally only available from Thursday to Sunday. I keep my calendar up to date to ensure no one is disappointed. Children are welcome but as the renovations are not completely finished I would not recommend the flat for young children. Infants are also welcome but there is limited space in the bedrooms, so unfortunately not room for a cot in the bedroom if you are planning to have other people stay too.
Elephant and Castle is a really vibrant area, it is in the process of being majorly regenerated and it is going to be really interesting to see how it changes. It is surprising central and a great location to be based to get to the rest of London from. There are some great inexpensive places to eat locally, and some really brilliant places within a 30 minute walk or a shorter bus ride.
  • A part from being freezing, all the time inside the apartment- I loved the place and the host

  • It was a great weekend, but we were both busy doing bits and bobs. As a short stay base, it was perfect for me.

  • Alice was communicative and helpful from the time I made the booking and throughout my stay. She provided me with clear and helpful directions to her home, advice for local amenities and suggestions for surrounding areas. Her neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet but well served by public transport, day and night, and her home was a comfortable, convenient base for my stay in London. Cheers Alice!

  • Alice is a wonderful host. I arrived quite late in the evening (11pm) and she was up to let me in. We chatted over tea and I admired the renovations she was doing on the flat. It's a work of love. The walk from Elephant Castle to her flat was safe at that hour. The neighborhood feels more of a genuine London which I enjoyed. (If you need Starbucks or Pret over ethnic markets then consider another part of town!) The guest room is perfect for one person with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and massive. I'm used to staying in Muswell Hill and now south London has peaked my interest. Thanks, Alice!

  • Alice's house is small but very cosy. I loved all the books, lots of signs of good taste, nice food books for all tastes. The bedroom is nice with a very comfortable bed. Finally, Alice is a very interesting person, full of character, and very kind. Recommended.

  • Uniquely wonderful ... Wonderfully unique :) One of the best experiences I've had ... It was a pleasure meeting Jury who is a great host all around & the room (With Master Bath), house and the area (Chiswick) were amazing ... In fact, I've visited the area numerous times after my stay as it is a joy to be there ... A modern village close to London

    Ron2014-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Very easy to write a review of this place, line up all the boxes and fill in the ticks. Communication, check in/out, info provided, amenities, shared communal areas, comfort, cleanliness, location and value. All ticks. This concept works wonderfully well. The Master Room ( where we stayed ) is spacious, comfortable and clean, if I could take the bath with me I would. Far better value than a hotel, a delightful 'English' part of London and very close to transport why would you stay anywhere else? I'm not sure who said this....'just do it'!!! Or this 'I'll be back'......

    Cliff2015-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house fully filled hour expectative apart from breakfast which was self made from guests

    alessandra2015-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Juri's house is a great home from home. A good chance to relax if you do a lot of commuting with the property conveniently located to Chiswick and London. The house is made up of a lounge, dining room, well-stocked kitchen (equipment, utensils, crockery and basic breakfast food elements with tea and coffee making facilities) Each resident/guest gets their own comfortable, clean, quiet (in my experience) room. Some are en-suite. Both of mine (Parents and Master) have been en-suite. I enjoyed two relaxing evenings and sleeps and will be happy to book again. Juri replies quickly and information is clear. Thanks

  • Great place. Stylish design

    Angus2016-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Juri's has been perfect (we're still here, we keep coming back!). The house is in an ideal location for Chiswick and the tube is a very short walk away. Juri is a great host and made us feel immediately at home. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in London. I can't recommend it enough.

    William 2013-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Juri was great, really friendly and helpful. The room was great, in a gorgeous big house, huge bathroom, lots of space, great bathtub, lovely area. The only issue is the tube line (District) which was quite infrequent, but we didn't explore the other transport options. Definitely recommend.

    Micaela2014-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Beautiful spacious room and bathroom, the tub was awesome! In a nice quite area, felt very safe walking late in the night. Beds were comfortable and communication was excellent. Check in and out was very simple and flexible. Tube stop is short walk and takes you around 15-20 mins into the city center. Would defiantly recommend staying here and when we return we would defiantly stay again.

  • My stay at Seb's apartment was fantastic. He gave me such a warm welcome and made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment was stunning, it felt like a 5 star hotel! It's location was perfect being so close to Waterloo station and Southbank. I would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to stay there myself again sometime soon

  • Amazingly central location, hidden gem, modern apartment, home away from home

    Ciaran2016-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is located right next to some of London's major attractions, therefore very convenient for visitors to the city. The property itself is contemporary, immaculate, beautifully decorated and spacious. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Seb himself as he is currently travelling but his lovely housekeeper let me in. This experience is the closest to staying in a first class hotel that I have so far experienced while using airbnb. Highly recommended!

    Nicky2017-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Truly one of the best places I stayed at in London. The flat is big, full of light and super clean, with great shower! also very convenient location next to waterloo station. Seb was a great host, really felt at home.

    Nele2016-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Seb was an incredible host with a gorgeous apartment! Everything was 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone. There is also a lovely restaurant 5 minutes down the road called "Cubana" was amazing!

    Alana2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing 5 star apartment in really cool area. Just like staying in a really expensive hotel. See and his flat ate friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. Perfect.

    Gill2016-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Sebastian is a great gentleman. His place is immaculate and it was a pleasure staying with him. Very helpful and proactive.

    Serge2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice new and modern flat. The room and bathroom are clean. The bed is quite small for 2 persons. Seb was flexible and helpful, overall a good host. Location is good for public transportation (close to waterloo station). The trains are operating close by, this may annoy light sleepers but didn't bother us.

  • The Place at Dushyan was one of my best Airbnb-experience, he was very attentively and the communication was clear and good and he was very reliable. To arrive at Dushyans Place was like coming home. The apartment was very clean and we loved the area with the park, the great pups and restaurants. The suggestions of Dushyan were just great in Vauxhall. The neighborhood is not to touristic but everting is very close and easy to reach. The house is friendly and comfortable. We hope, we can come back.

    Matthias2015-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dushyan's place in London. Location was very convenient and Dushyan was the perfect host. He was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome even before meeting him in person upon arrival at Vauxhall Station. All communication was prompt and thorough. He kindly sent us detailed instructions on getting from Gatwick to Vauxhall, met us at the Station, and gave us many useful tips as he walked us to his place and showed us around his lovely apartment. Thanks Dushyan. It was a pleasure to have met you and we'd highly recommend your place to anyone visiting London.

  • Fantastic hosts! So organised both in advanced of the stay and also within the apartment where they had various instructions left. V clean apartment with a 24 hour shop nearby and tube just across the road. Will hope to use again when in London

  • I'm so glad I chose Dushyan's place to accommodate my parents during their stay in London. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and can't have been more convenient to get around. Located in a very lively area with a very energetic nightlife scene. Big park nearby, perfect to chill out during the day. Dushyan was always ready to assist and answer questions. It was an amazing experience for both myself and my parents, definitely trying to accommodate other guests there in the future!

    Lamia2015-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay. Everything was as described in the offer. Thank you, Dushyan for a pleasant stay in London. Ola (Krakow, Poland)

    Aleksandra 2015-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment, clean and convenient.

    Zuo2015-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Dushyan was super friendly and easy to work with from our first email. Such a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is a few minutes walk from Vauxhall station and is therefore in a very convenient location. Given that, we didn't walk in to the city but can see that it wouldn't take long (about 20 minutes). Dushyan also pointed us in the direction of a great local Indian restaurant, Tescos and gave us a few handy hints for getting around. There are a number of maps and guidebooks in the apartment that give useful ideas of places to go. We used AirBnB for all of our holiday accommodation and I can definitely report that the bed in this apartment was the best sleeping spot we had - and after a long day exploring I definitely want a comfy bed! I like to sleep with windows open, which was a bit noisy thanks to people down on the street, but when the windows are shut you can't hear a thing, which is awesome. Thanks so much for letting us use your apartment, Dushyan. I'd book it again for sure!

Ideally situated for travelling around London, the apartment location is great for those visiting London for business or pleasure.
This is a very large one bedroom apartment with a lot of space for you to enjoy your time in London. The flat is very welcoming and it has the typical english old establishment feeling which I am sure you will enjoy. A Double Air bad, in the leaving room, for a potential 3rd guest is available.( 3rd guest MUST BE over 13 years old)
The area is very quite and a small walk away from the buzzing Spitalfields market where you can enjoy great street food, vintage clothing shopping, or, if you fancy a trendier area you can walk down to Brick lane all the way to Shoreditch where you can enjoy a variety of colourful clubs, cocktail bars, and restaurants...I'll be more than happy to give you tips on places where you can eat/drink..:-)

A beautiful victorian flat in the heart of London, just 9 minutes walking from barons court underground (Piccadilly and district line) and 11 from West Kensington. In close proximity supermarkets, typical small shops ,as well as restaurants and pubs. The area is really quite and residential but close to everything. Piccadilly is just 10 min far by underground, Heatrow airport is connected by the piccadilly line without any train change. In other word the perfect location for your vacation.
Our flat is very well positioned in London. It's located in a quiet residential street where will be easy to breathe the atmosphere of London, but just a step away from the most vibrant areas of the city. The house has a kitchen, bathroom with shower, a bedroom with a fireplace and a sitting room also with fireplace. We will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

  • The suite perfectly met our needs for a lovely stay in Central London. It was simple, clean, and quiet yet close to the Underground, Marble Arch, and lots of good restaurants. We especially liked the cafes and pubs on Seymour Place. Moshe was very reliable with check in and the apartment is in a sweet neighborhood.

  • Top place and hard to fault. Thanks Moshe

  • We have spent just one night in Moshe apartment, but wish to spend more. Definitely worth the price. Great location, very close to Paddington station and fastest connection to Heathrow. Room was very clean. Moshe was punctual and very helpful. I can recommend it to everyone.

  • Highly recommend this room! We had everything that a hotel room would have, and Moshe had kindly left some adaptors, showergels, shampoo etc. for us. Location was great, we could stroll around and didn't have to use public transport which was great since we only had 2 days in the city.. Would definitely book this room again.

  • Super location. Very nice host. Nice and clean room. Steps away from hyde park and marble arch station. Everything was very smooth. Would highly recommend. Tesco was 5 mins walk maxx. Loads of restaurants and a bus stop close by. Cant find a single fault. Nice and big kitchen. Well equipped. Bathroom had more than sufficient toiletries. All in all a super stay

  • Moshe's place was just what I needed. It is just across the street from an entrance to Hyde Park - lovely for a morning's walk. The room was very comfy, and its great that it is en-suite. Moshe was very helpful and attentive. When the television aerial was not operating due to something out his control, he brought round a plug-in internet connector for it. When there was a problem with the iron that he was unaware of, he was round within a few hours with a new iron. I would happily stay here again, the next time I am in London. Very good value, great location, and a great host!

This cozy & quiet room is part of a modern 2nd floor - three flights of stairs - apartment in Scandinavian style and standard and situated in London's charming area of Stoke Newington, within walking distance to restaurants, shops , bars, pubs and easy to get to central London.
Your private space is a cozy small and very quiet bedroom, equipped with a 140 cm wide double bed with bed clean linens, fresh towels, chest of drawers and a new 27" Digital LCD TV. Adding to your comfort you have your own private bathroom equipped with WC, shower cubicle with great water pressure and a hand basin. Size-wise the bedroom comfortably fits one person, whereas accommodating two persons the room is less spacious but perfectly alright for sleeping and relaxing. There is unlimited, high speed wi-fi internet access throughout the whole property for you to use.
This green neighbourhood of London is about as close to village life as London gets. Bounded by parks and brimming with bakeries and boutiques, Stoke Newington often feels a world away from the grit and urban glamour of neighbouring London areas. Its distinct community feel is reflected in the array of independent retailers and small businesses – from gourmet grocers, gift shops to second-hand stores and international eateries – that line Church Street, which also hosts London’s only weekly organic farmers’ market. The Green Flag award-winning Clissold Park is a big draw with a wide range of newly refurbished facilities including play and games areas, paddling pool, aviary and animal enclosures, and a skate park. There's also a popular pool at Clissold Leisure Centre. Yet it is not only for those seeking the quiet life. The area is equally renowned for its vibrant night-time haunts, including an array of late night Turkish eateries, acclaimed pubs, bars, and other music and dancing venues. Its culture of hedonism is complimented by an equally colourful historical and literary heritage. The scenic Abney Park Cemetery contains the graves of the founders of the Salvation Army, and a number of prominent anti-slavery Abolitionists. It was also the location for Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' video. Writers such as Daniel Defoe and Edgar Allan Poe spent some of their formative years in the area, influenced by its liberal, counter-cultural ethos, which still exists today. And the area even now has its own annual literary festival. As any Saturday passed in the postcode will reveal, Stoke Newington offers the best of both wholesome and unwholesome London.
  • So so amazing study in Gab and M's tidy, sunny, and lovely decorated rooms. Get the very lucky chance to be invited to the Swedish Crayfish party, which I could never imagine this kind of fantastic experience happened during my stay. Thank you so so much, certainly strongly and madly recommend Gab's house to travelers in London

    Alex2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gabriel and Macnun were absolutely wonderful hosts and I truly enjoyed my time staying in their flat! The flat itself is located extremely close to the Stoke Newington rail station where it is easy to jump on board for a ride into London's Liverpool Street. The neighborhood is filled with cute shops, cafes, and pubs and in general, things get quieted down in the evenings, making sleep come easily after a long day in London. Although our differing schedules did not allow us to chat extensively, I enjoyed my quick chats with Gabriel and Mecnun and found them to be some of the most welcoming and hospitable hosts I've had in my time of using AirBnb! Thanks, you two, and let me know if you should ever find yourselves in Seattle. :)

    Julie2014-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Gabriel and Mecnun are warm and welcoming. Their home will instantly make you feel at home. I had a very invasive operation and stayed here to recuperate. I couldn't have made a better choice. Incredible hosts, lovely place to stay.

    Susanna2017-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Gabriel and Mecnun were wonderful hosts and went the extra mile to make me feel at home. They certainly manage your expectations with the quality of information they provide ahead of your stay and are super accomodating during your stay. I've never experienced as superior accomodation as I received during my time with Gabriel and Mecnun compared to multiple other trips to London. It's no surprise they are "Super Host" status.

    Terri2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot praise Gabriel and Mecnun as hosts enough. Both were extremely accommodating and thoughtful throughout my stay. They stayed up for my late check in, and even helped me plan detailed day to day itineraries for my travels in Istanbul - Mecnun is Turkish - and Amsterdam with knowledge only a local can supply. If you are planning on visiting Sweden after London, Gabriel is a veritable repository of knowledge and would be more than happy to share! However, they are also perfectly respectful of your privacy if you wish to keep to yourself. As for the flat itself - the private bathroom is a wonderful thing, particularly for longer stays. The bedroom is, as per the listing description, small, so you may wish (as I did) to leave your luggage in the living room. Nevertheless, it contains everything you could possibly need, including a dresser and a very comfortable bed. The location too is ideal. Stoke Newington overground station is less than five minutes walk from the flat, as are bus stops taking you directly into the city, or to Finsbury Park Interchange on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines. There is also a large supermarket just up the road, and a Whole Foods a little while further. It was delightful to stay somewhere that was so quiet, where you can feel like a local, and yet be no more than half an hour from all the hustle and bustle of central London. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again were the opportunity to arise!

    Jie2015-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • It was my first time using airbnb and I couldn't have had a better experience. Right from go I felt at home. The apartment was lovely and was super clean. The room was quite small but absolutely perfect for me. It was also great to have a private bathroom. It was an easy commute to Central london with many buses nearby and the national rail line. Gabriel and Macnun were so lovely and helpful. I will miss the beautiful stoke newington area and these lovely lads. I couldn't recommend this room more highly!!

    Meg2014-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Me nun was very friendly, considerate and helpful. The flat offers very convenient access to local shops and restaurants.

    Barbara2014-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Gabriel and Mecnun were AMAZING and FANTASTIC hosts!!! Gabriel has a wonderful and pleasant spirit that shines through and Mecnun is a ball of fun and wonderful energy. Gabriel was there to meet me at the flat upon my arrival and was very polite, informative and welcoming. Oh how I will miss our talks on Marketing :) The house and the room is exactly as described! Very clean, tidy and modern. The room and the house was very comfortable and helped make my stay in London that much more wonderful. The house is located very close to public transportation, restaurants and stores which was very convenient. For anyone looking to travel to London, I recommend you stay with Gabriel and Mecnun. I look forward to my next visit to London, hopefully in the very near future and I hope to stay with them again :)

You wont find another room, of this quality in London for this price! Our lovely Victorian house is located in a pretty and safe area of London. Hendon Central tube station, where trains run every few minutes to Central London (20 minutes on the tube) is less than a 10 minute walk. The room is furnished to a high standard, including tv, safe, fridge and hairdryer. The bed is brand new with a wonderfully comfortable mattress. A bathroom and separate toilet are just next door.
This lovely quiet single room has plenty of storage space, a top quality bed promising a good night's sleep. Free WIFI is also available. For your privacy there is a lock on the inside of the door. Towels, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner are all provided and I like to ensure that my home is spotlessly clean. I offer a complimentary laundry wash if your stay is longer than 5 nights. We are a family home, and ask our guests to help themselves to a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Orange juice, beverages, yogurts, various cheeses, jams and spreads, cereals and a variety of breads, brioche and waffles. My husband is a pharmacist/computer teacher and I on occasion work from home. Everyone is welcome in our house. If this room is booked, then I do have another listing (in the same house) called Blue Delft Room at Great Price in London https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18869754 - please note it is also 'Wedgewood Blue' so both rooms look a bit similar in the photographs.
Hendon is a safe, pretty and quiet area and a wonderful place to stay. A great place to locate if you want to visit the City Centre. The tube, which runs every few minutes from Hendon Central to Camden Town (12 minutes) and Central London (20 minutes). There are lots of places to eat, including restaurants and pubs a few minutes walk away. There are also takeaways and three metro supermarkets. A large indoor shopping mall (Brent Cross) is within 10 minutes walk.
  • If you find a clean house in UK, I recommend this house. It is the cleanest house in my life. Also you can feel cozy, comfortable, safe in the hose. You can enjoy your time in the beautiful garden taken care of by a great lady. Once again, If you want to have a good holiday, I recommend you book a room in this house

  • Judith is a great host : kind and helpful. Her house is beautiful and the room - cosy and well- equipped.

    Joanna2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Judith is my first and best airbnb host! She is one of those few people who can make you feel very comfortable at the first meeting. Her lovely house is located in Northwest London and it's quite easy to access to Central London from there; the tube station is just 10 minutes walk away from her house, and if you take the tube from Hendon Central, you can get to Central London within 20 minutes. Her house is always very tidy and you'll have got everything you need. I also really enjoyed the conversations with Judith at the breakfast table. If you're staying in London, Judith's place would be the best place that you could ask for. Highly recommended.

    Natsumi2017-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Judith greeting me with a warm, welcoming smile upon my tardy evening arrival. Her gracious home is located in the residential neighborhood of Hendon just a short walk to the Tube Station, most evenings I arrived back quite late and felt perfectly safe walking the 10 minutes from the station. I found the accomodations to be precisely as featured online and then some. Judith & Ivor’s hospitality, cleanliness, and warmth cannot be captured in a photograph nor description, if I have the opportunity I will stay again!!

    Ann2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Everything makes me feel like home. I am so happy to choose Judith for my little trip to London. Beautiful house, beautiful garden, beautiful people! I have everything I needed and more, thank you Judith!

Our B&B is an urban cottage one mile from Central London. Its private road, gated front and hidden 2-storey garden make it feel like a secret hideaway in an otherwise busy area. Lambeth's best kept secret!
The B&B is bright and spacious and is hidden from the vIew of the main road. The bedrooms all have their own modern bathrooms and guests are welcome to share the large open plan living area downstairs. The kitchen/dining/living room area looks out onto the two-storey garden via double height windows and glass doors that can open up fully in the summer for a lovely al fresco experience! The house is detached, which makes it especially quiet and private!
There are so many lovely places to eat, drink and be sociable in our area, as well as some more active things such as the indoor climbing wall at Vauxhall, Vauxhall City Farm, Clapham Common, Boris Bikes close by for an active tour of London, the Kia Oval for cricket, Brockwell Lido for a refreshing swim, the Brixton O2 Academy, The Ritzy Cinema, shopping in Brixton Market... The list goes on! The area is also really good for transport to the major tourist attractions in town. Two buses go from the main road, just a minute's walk away from the house, and Vauxhall, Stockwell and Oval tube stations are all within ten minutes' walk.
  • Marianna is a brilliant host. The room is excellent and located in a quiet neighbourhood in London close to the tube stations Oval and Stockwell. Absolutely recommended!!

    Marco2015-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Marianna was friendly and prompt with her replies. The B&B was a bit tucked away behind another building, but Nathan was there to show us into the cottage. The room itself was okay. Enough for our one night stay. The ensuite bathroom was a bit unkempt and the towels were rumpled and didn't seem completely fresh. The shower also wouldn't seem to get hot... Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy breakfast, as we had to catch our train to the airport. Though, this worked out as there was loud construction on the roof at around 7:30AM. I was mostly just annoyed because the construction workers blocked the entire driveway with their truck and I could barely squeeze my luggage through. Marianna apologized for the noise, but by that time we were already on our way to Gatwick.

    Ashlee2015-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Elys cottage is in a charming little area that we really enjoyed being in. Breakfast was delicious and Marianna was extremely kind and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this Air BNB.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Marianna's and Nick's ! The place is lovely, 10 minutes walk from the underground, but 3 minutes from the bus and places to eat. The room was really pretty and provided in everything needed (even tea and biscuits !). Marianna even prepared lots of informations about were to eat, what to do, or were to go, which was super useful ! And the breakfast is AMAZING !!! Never had scrambled eggs like that, and the table was beautiful, and everything we could have wanted was provided ! Our host were really nice people, answering to all of our questions, always there with a smile ! And they have the softest and nicest dog ever ! ^^ We highly recommend going there and hope we will have a chance to stay there another time !

    Elorri2017-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • The bnb is clean and quiet. The breakfast is good. If you have any problem, Marianna will help you kindly. The bus station is near to the bnb.

  • We really liked our stay at Marianna's place. Great central location, nice clean room and lovely breakfast. All the items provided in the room including Marianna's guide to places and tours around London were chosen with great care. Would definitely recommend and stay again. :)

    Barbara2016-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Marianna was very welcoming, along with little Reggie, the poodle cross assistant! We really appreciated the extra touches like the personal kettle, biscuits, and shampoo/conditioner. Marianna gave us great tips for wandering around London, and the breakfast was delicious! It was easy to get to and very close to central London; although we advise the bus route, the tube gives you easy access to the area as well. We loved our stay and would happily stay again!

My place is 10 mins away from Central London by bus, train or bike nearest underground station Kennington (tube station). You’ll love my place because of its Location its within a short distance to most of the famous landmarks and places within London. My place has super fast fibre Wifi and is ideal for solo adventurers and business travellers as it is on a quiet one-way street with minimal distractions.
  • Check in and out was a breeze. Friendly host who allowed me to make (EMAIL HIDDEN)plete with necessary amenities. Subway station is within walking distance. Small room space good for one tenant. Poor soundproofing as you can hear the noise from the neighbours. No locks on room, toilet and shower doors.

  • Jae's apartment is such a nice place to stay in London, especially for solo travelers. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood; yet it is just two or three minutes' walk from the Kennington underground station, from where you can just take the Northern line directly into downtown London. The house is compact, but very cozy. Great kitchen space, nice shower, great laundry machine... it was just like staying at my own home. Jae is a great host! He is super nice, communicative, responsive, considerate... (you could literally put every positive word on him). He showed me the way to SOAS University, where I was having a three-day conference there; he recommended a great gym to me; we had all those amazing (sometimes deep) conversations in the mornings. I would definitely recommend his place to anyone who wants to visit London!

  • It was a nice and clean room in a rather quiet street behind the London Eye. Underground was very close so public transport was not a problem. There is a kitchen provided, and I found it very nice and thoughful that there were 5 types of tea you could help yourself to. Would stay there any time again.

  • This place was perfect for what we were looking for. It was on a quiet street but close enough to restaurants, attractions and the underground. Tibor is an excellent host. Easy instructions to get into the house and well equipped with the amenities you would need while away including wall plugs and a hairdryer (thank you for that!). This was my first time staying at an Airbnb and it exceeded my expectations. Again, thank you so much for your hospitality!

    Sara2017-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really great stay with Tibor. His place was very easy to find and close to two tube stations. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and even though it’s next to, what seemed like a hospital or ambulance hold, you really didn’t notice any additional noise. The room was a good size and we had keys to our room and the front door so we could come and go as necessary . We also had access to a full kitchen and a washer and dryer which was really nice as most places didn’t have a dryer. Everything was very clean, there was maid service for the public areas daily, and Tibor was nice enough to let us drop off our bags while we got breakfast as we checked in an hour early. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again should I return to London.

Roupell Street was built in the 1820s. It and its neighbouring streets of intact Georgian artisans' cottages form a designated conservation area and most of the houses are Grade II listed. So the neighbourhood is a piece of living London history. A number of period dramas for TV and cinema have been filmed here, including the popular UK TV series, Call The Midwife. The street is quiet but lively, and exceptionally friendly - there are many young families living here as well as people working in all areas of the arts. The famous bakery at the end of the street, Konditor & Cook, is a daily temptation that's hard to resist. We are in the heart of the London arts scene, too, with the National Theatre, the Old Vic, and the Young Vic are 5 mins walk away, as well as the Southbank Centre with its concert halls and art galleries. Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe and Borough Market are also only a twenty-minute walk from the apartment. The immediate vicinity is very colourful and alive with many independent shops as well as pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants, and a good choice of supermarkets. There's an excellent Foyle's bookshop in Waterloo station and another branch on the south bank by the Royal Festival Hall. The area is Perfect for an extended holiday or for someone away on business needing a place to stay while away from home. 5 minute walk to BFI Imax, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, the London Eye, the Southbank Centre, the Houses of Parliament, ETC. 5mins walk Just across the river: London Eyes, the Houses of Parliament, the South Bank AREA, Southbank Centre, Royal Festival Hall, Hayward Gallery, the Purcell Room and Queen Elizabeth Hall. • It was great experience , first time to me with Airbnb , Ann is good host , she came to check on the house and she asked me if I want anything , she was helpful , I feel comfortable in her house. House's location is great , 3 minutes to London eye , 2 minutes to Waterloo Station , so quiet at night. I will come back some day , Thank you so much Ann !

  • Great shared digs to sleep in if you're doing a few days of sightseeing in London alone or with mates. The check in was very easy and my trip went without hitches, thanks to Ann's prompt messages and information supplied. The house is basic but you really must weight that up in the context of its SUPERB location, close to the Underground, trains... 11 min total time to walk + tube ride to Covent Garden, brilliant! The 'price vs location' is truly excellent for London.

    Johanna2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great room in a great area.

    Adam2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Ann was reactive to my messages and answered my questions in a polite and useful way. I only stayed one night but my stay was enjoyable.

    Cid2016-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Always a pleasure staying here.

    Rowland2016-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • I felt very welcomed in the house of Ann & Edison. The room was clean and the bed really nice. The apartment is very close to Waterloo Station which is very central and a good starting point if you have meetings around London or just want to explore the city. The only thing to be aware of is the trains (of course - it is close to a train station...). However, from midnight to 5am it is absolutely quiet and you will enjoy a very good sleep. I would recommend staying there.

  • Luis was very welcoming and flexible with check-in. Their apartment was on a quiet street and was a good homebase to explore London for the night. The room was cozy, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was clean. We were lucky to find his & Ricardo's place available on such short notice. Thanks Luis & Ricardo!

  • It was easy to get to by bus from Kings Cross train station. By previous arrangement Luis was there to greet me and show me around his building. The room is spacious, bright and clean with its own locking door. There are plenty of bathrooms/toilets available throughout the building. The common areas like the kitchen and lounge were outstandingly clean and spacious as well. This place was great .

This is our first time hosting on Airbnb - so we are keen to keep our guests happy! When we are not using the property ourselves, we'd love to host others. This apartment is in a brand new building - London's tallest residential tower! It is also one of the most energy efficient buildings in London! We are located in Zone 1 - so you'll never be more than a quick train/bus/bike or even walk from London's most amazing tourist attractions. For example, the Houses of Parliament are 5 minutes away on the train. The Millennium Wheel is a 7 minute bus ride. St Pauls Cathedral is 3 minutes on the train. Borough Market is a 10 minute walk! The building has a 24-hour concierge, the lifts can only be accessed with a secure key card and the building has CCTV - so you'll be completely safe. The apartment is also on one of the top floors (just below the penthouse) so you'll get great views of South London!
One of the great things about this neighbourhood is the location. Being in zone 1 - central London makes life so much easier. You are never more than a quick train, bus, bike, or even walk from London's most popular tourist attractions. The building is located less than a 30-second walk from elephant and Castle Underground tube Station. Everyone in the building is very friendly. We look forward to welcoming you.
  • Shoukat's place was one of the best I have been. I felt like home away from home. 2 mins walk to the tube and super close to tourist attractions. Cleanliness of the flat was superb. Everything was there, from towels to toilet paper. Shoukat is a Superhost indeed as he organised the check in quickly to get us in the flat as soon as possible. He is kind and replies to any inquiries asked and provides thoughtful recommendations. I will definitely return to Shoukat's place when I visit London again.

    Aki2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Shoukat is a very friendly and helpful host. He provided a lot of amenities and gave me a lot of information of the area. The flat itself is iconic - I have long heard of the Strata building but actually staying in it is even better. The view is amazing from 30 floors up! The flat is brand new and very clean - and very nice kitchen and bathroom too. Fantastic experience!

    Emma2016-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • The host is good. The flat has the great location near to the tube

  • This apartment comes highly recommended for a city break....

    David2016-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very responsive in the communication, friendly and happy to help with anything I needed. The flat was clean, very close to the station, and the view was great from the 30th floor! Highly recommended.

    Alessio2016-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Shoukat was professional and courteous from the point of booking the reservation, throughout the reservation duration, and afterwards as well. He responded to all of my questions rapidly, and checked in via AirBnB messenger to see if there was anything we needed during our stay. The apartment was exactly as pictured, in the city center, and right across the street from Elephant and Castle underground. The apartment itself was very clean, modern, with all appliances working perfectly. Having the wifi TV was great. Also, there were hangers to hang some clothes, and a powerful hair dryer as well! This place is so much better than an expensive hotel room without the same amenities. This is an excellent place to stay, and one I hope to stay at in the future.

  • Though there is no toilet and shower in the room, this is high cost-performing and nice room for single traveler.

    Shugo2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Small apartment, but decent for the price and location.

    Noam2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • The room is in a central area with good facilities around. Check-in is easy. The room is very tiny (6-7 sqm), shower and toilette as well. Wi-Fi was first not working but the answer to an email of mine came after 2 minutes with log-in information to another wi-fi-connection that worked. I didn't see the landlord at all, but that's fine for me. The room was clean and quiet. Good sleep.

    Ronald2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect little flat for a solo traveler. The bathroom and shower are on separate floors but it's not really a bother. It's very close to the Tube but is nice and quiet at night. The WiFi is spotty, but that's the only negative thing. Check-in is quick and automated so there's no fussing over what time to meet.

    Emily2017-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately, it was very noisy from neighbours running water amd walking around. Good location. Essentially just a room, with some kitchen amenities.

    Stacey2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • It's a great budget stay if you just need a place to sleep. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, but Hesham was v accommodating about letting me check in early to drop off bags and responsive with any questions I had.

    Linda2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • This bedsit was a perfect as I only required a quiet, comfortable room to sleep in after a long night of work meetings. It's located close to the tube station, easy to access and check out and I was surprised by how quiet a stay it was! Tip- The shower room is tiny. When you open the door you are stepping straight into the shower (no floor space). I bought my clothes down to the shower with me to change, but this isn't possible. There is a hook to hang your towel on the back of the door. Other than the shower this place does the job, and I would stay again.

    Kirsty2016-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Arrival information was really clear and hassle free. Place was small but exactly as described and exactly what I needed for a few nights. Location is great. Lots of nice restaurants and pubs just around the corner. Would definitely stay again.

  • My friend and I felt immediately welcomed by Yoshi and Yello! They were warm, friendly, and helpful. And it was a lovely, relaxing place to come back to after busy days in London. Definitely recommend! :)

  • Greetings traveler! Seeing the pictures and reading the description of this apartment, you must be thinking "this is too good to be true". It isn't. The apartment is as magnificent as it looks in the pictures, and has even more to offer then mentioned in the description. But if a home is as nice as people living in it, it could be even nicer, because the hosts, Yello and Yoshi are genuinely fun, extra kind and caring people. We had a great time with them and their fun, outgoing friends the mermaid, the badger and the skiing champion. ;) Even the housekeeper Bobby is cool and friendly. Really, really nice stay with them, couldn't recommend more!

  • Quiet and comfortable location. Nice place to rest after a long day of touring London on foot/transit. Only about a five minute stroll from the nearest transit station. Nice massaging chair. Could use a little bit of coffee to offset the wide array of tea choices.

  • Probably the most unique flat I have been in London. Amazing open space with the best and most comfortable cauches ever. The house is even better than how it looks in the picture, and I know it seems difficult. And Christina and his husband are a unique couple.

Hi, my name is Tom. Welcome to my home. I'm the resident and manager of the Brick Lane apartment. Excellent location (Zone 1): Closest tube-Liverpool Street, Shoreditch and Old Street Vibrant neighbourhood consisting of many bars, restaurants and a pop-up mall. Very close to Beigel Bake, Rich Mix and Pizza East. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.
The walls of the apartment are covered in art work and guests are always amazed by the interesting style of the place. Most importantly I am very sociable, friendly and always interested in meeting new people. I spend much of my time showing guests the unique and interesting things to do in London that you would never find in a travel guide. For a few weeks of the year you might be sharing the apartment with other Airbnb guests.

Overall a good experience and highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to crash in central London and are on a budget.

  • This is definitely a one person room. It is difficult to get past the bed which almost abuts the entrance door if your luggage is bulky. However, the location is superb. Walk anywhere nearby and you'll find magnificent rows of houses, mews cottages, and great places to eat. Hyde Park is close. Fabulous spot. You do also have to overlook the fact that the outdoor space that's featured is a little neglected, but it is nevertheless good to have access to fresh air.

    Angela2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a very good position. It is very small but cozy and enough for one person for a couple of days. The automatic check in was very easy, and it's good if you arrive to London late in the evening like it was in my case. Ahmed was very quick in responding to my emails. The only problem is that Wifi was working intermittently.

    Silvia Anna2016-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The room was easy to access from Paddington Station. The room is just suitable for one person to stay with a balcony. The shower got a strong power. The instruction by the owner was very clear. Thank you for having as a guest. I enjoyed the stay very much.

    弥紗2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • The flat is small but comfortable, and I especially like the terrace/balcony - which is actually quite big. The place was clean when I arrived, check in was smooth, and I had everything I needed. I stayed here the last night of a two week trip because of the proximity to Heathrow. I took the express train, and I think door to door you could get from the flat to the airport in under 30 minutes easy if you timed it right. The neighborhood was quite, but an easy walk gets you to plenty of nice restaurants and parks. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

  • Great location if you're staying for a night or two. The bed was not very comfortable, and the apartment wasn't as clean as could be. Check in:out process was very convenient.

The apartment is in a beautiful Victorian building on a quiet street in the heart of the best city in the world. I also have double glazing so there is very little noise. There is one bedroom but there are 3 beds including the high end double air mattress. Therefore the flat can fit 6 but this is a budget option. The flat is decorated with furniture from around the world and the neighborhood has famous art galleries and good restaurants at decent prices.
It is rare to find an apartment in the heart of London that is quiet and reasonably priced restaurants in the area.
    Safe and multicultural area.

    Central London Apartment
    3 reviews
Beautiful house with stunning furnishings and space for 6 (7 with extra bed). Ideal for families or groups wishing to make the most of its outstanding location. Proximity to major transport hubs makes it ideal for exploring outside London.
Ideally suited for anyone seeking to make the most of London. Although the main part of the house is 150 years old, it has been sympathetically modernised inside, with a range of original features and modern appliances allowing for convenient uncluttered living. At the heart of the house is a handmade kitchen with a full range of modern appliances, including a dishwasher and seating for six. There is a washing machine / tumble dryer. There is a luxurious reception room with Bang & Olufsen CD player and flatscreen TV and a table for formal dining. Linens, silver cutlery and Venetian glass are also available for special dinners. Upstairs, there is a flexible studio space with a fantastic sofa bed which transforms to a very comfortable double bed. There is an outside balcony with seating for two and a dedicated shower room for maximum privacy. This room benefits from a TV, DVD player, Wii console, boardgames and an extensive DVD library. The main bedroom has one street facing window but is, nevertheless, very quiet. It is equipped with ample wardrobe space and a large ensuite shower room and leads onto a small terrace with table and chairs. The second bedroom is exceptionally quiet, with no street facing walls. It has a large adjoining bathroom with extra large bath and shower fitting and its own charming patio terrace with benches, complete with working fountain. There is a folding bed available on request, suitable for a child, potentially sharing the main bedroom with parents. There is also a cot available on request. Molton Brown hand, bath and hair products are provided in all bathrooms. Bed linens and towels are 100% cotton. Duvets and pillows are all Hungarian goosedown, hypoallergenic alternatives are available on request. There is unlimited wireless Internet.
Proximity to major sites: Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Tate Britain, River Thames, Kings Road all within walking distance. Yet the proliferation of local shops and restaurants, combined with access to Battersea Park give visitors the comfort of a small neighbourhood.
  • Sarah was a great host. The property was exactly as described and seen in pictures. Great size and space - perfect for 3 colleagues wanting separate rooms. Very clean. Would definitely return.

  • An absolutely fabulous first airbnb experience. The apartment was perfect for 5 adults; 2 couples and one single adult. There are 3 bathrooms, each with a bath or shower AND loo, and there is a separate 4th guest loo! The apartment has 3 levels and is lovely; we only stayed 3 nights, but fervently wish we had stayed for longer. It is two seconds from a supermarket (although our host had kindly stocked her kitchen well) and very centrally located in the City of Westminster. Our host met us on arrival; she provided us with a tour of the apartment explaining how things worked, and a manual was available too. The information provided before arrival was brilliant, it gave every conceivable way of getting to the apartment from all points of arrival; Heathrow, Eurostar etc, with a range of options and costs. This was amazingly helpful to weary travellers from Australia. Thanks v much Sarah (we miss your library). We wish a replica of your apartment had been in Paris!

  • This house is fantastic! The hosts were amazing, even stocked the fridge with OJ and milk, and supplied some croissants for breakfast! Plenty of kitchenware supplied and the bedding was amazing! Soo comfy! The little garden areas are so cute! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in central London! The tube is 5 minutes away!

  • A great house, fully equipped and well situated, perfect for our family of 5, 2 smaller bedrooms in the basement, the biggest on the first floor. My son was delighted when he discovered a Wii on the first floor. Sarah was present to meet us, she responded quickly to our different questions.

  • Sarah welcomed us and gave us a run down on how to use the appliances and great tips on getting around and the best local places to visit. She also very kindly provided us with a few basics like milk, juice, bread, tea etc to get us started, which was a lovely touch. The apartment was incredible and easily accommodated 3 couples. It is well positioned in a lovely suburb with easy access to buses, tube stations, restaurants and a supermarket. This apartment felt like a home-away-from-home and we absolutely loved staying here. If you are staying in London you cannot go past this house!!

  • We arrived early evening to be greeted by Sarah. She immediately made us all feel at home. There were 3 generations in my group and Sarah has given some prior thought to the sleeping arrangements and the stairs. Very thoughtful. Sarah spent some time showing me around the property and explaining how everything worked ... Heating, water etc. This was very useful. The rooms and their contents were exactly as described, so there were no nasty surprises at all. Everything was clean and very well presented. It quickly felt like we were at home. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials and more. Lots of crockery, glasses and the like. Sarah had also left some cereals, bread and milk for our breakfast the next day, which meant we didn't have to go and buy anything. What a relief! There was also plenty of tea and coffee. The bedrooms were all clean and very comfortable. The same can be said for the bathrooms. Plus loads to clean towels. The only item that could be added is a mirror in the second bedroom downstairs. Other than that, we were not short of anything. Sarah's recommended local eating places was very welcome. We chose from her recommendations and enjoyed a great meal, and only 5 minutes walk. Finally Sarah was hugely helpful on our day of leaving when she allowed us to leave our luggage in the house and collect it that afternoon. This really helped us with our logistics and was much appreciated Overall a great experience with no criticism at all. Thank you Sarah, we would very willingly return ...assuming you would have us!

  • Sarah wasn't able to meet us at the house but arranged to have someone else do it. She was easy to communicate with before, during, and after our trip. The house was exactly as described in the listing. Pimlico was a very nice neighborhood and the tube was a short walk from the house. It was only a few stops from the city center. We enjoyed our stay very much.
