Lodi Vacation Rentals

Just booked in Lodi

Welcome to my tiny Woods Cabin near the Lake. The creek quietly gurgles by your side, lulling you to sleep in the fresh night air as the off-shore breeze cools the air. Wake up to beautiful lake views from the large front window. Drink in morning's awakening with your fresh coffee. Take an early walk along the water's shore, checking the blue herons, mallard ducks, or maybe a mute swan. A restful night, a refreshing morning. You will be a revived traveler for the new day.
The cabin's quietness offers space for meditation, serious reading, writing. Perfect for one person as well as two. Be prepared for living next to water and its accompanying insects, bugs, spiders, that overnight spin their webs. Sometimes the mosquitoes are out and sometimes not. Lightening bugs like to be inside as well as outside. The Woods Cabin is always debugged before guests arrive.
The surrounding area of the cabin is woods complete with its wild animals, white tailed deer, screech owls, raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels and chipmunks, many birds. Once a week you can hear a night train three miles across the lake. Not many cottage owners are around in the fall and winter. There is some fishing, not much. Seneca is very peaceful and quiet.
  • Cozy cabin on Lake Seneca. Carolyn is a wonderful host with answers to any and every question you may have about the area. Perfect central location to explore the Seneca Lake region and even more perfect place to watch the sun set over the lake. Prepare to get creative if you plan anything more than simple meal preparation in the kitchenette. Happy we brought our French Press to enjoy our morning coffee. We'd absolutely book this AirB&B again.

  • Carolyn was attentive, friendly, and flexible with our check-in time, which we really appreciated. The space is cozy with all the necessary amenities, close to wineries and restaurants, and right across from the lake. I loved listening to the stream running past the bedroom window. A great find!

    Sophie2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is so welcoming. It is nicely decorated and has such a wonderful location in the Finger Lakes. Seneca Lake is just steps away from the front door and we especially enjoyed walking along the quiet road along the lake. It's a very special place with such a wonderful host.

  • This is a well equipped little cottage nestled in the woods with a lake view. Carolyn is very friendly, but also maintains your privacy. There is level access to the lake with a nice picnic table and Adirondack chairs. We saw many shooting stars while enjoying a glass of wine on the lakeshore one evening!

    Emily2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint and cabin right on Seneca Lake. Very private. Mesmerizing view with lots of wineries to explore. Lovely hostess.

  • This is a lovely, and cozy cottage. The bed is so comfortable. The accommodations suited our needs. We're very happy we chose this place.

  • Staying at Carolyn's cozy cabin is a trip that is probably going to start becoming an annual thing. Although a bit cool (60-70s during the day, 50s at night) and a little rainy, we never had a problem with staying warm as she offered 2 very large, warm fleece blankets in addition to normal bedding, as well as, a heater that heats up the space well. There was a small kitchen with 2 small stoves, a sink, mini fridge, a toaster, a microwave, a one cup keurig, and plenty of pots, pans, plates/bowls/mugs, and silverware. Of course, the only cooking that happened was reheating our leftovers because we couldn't resist all the great places to eat. Places we ate/drank at are: Veraisons at Glenora winery which was more of fine dining and DELICIOUS farm to table style (35 min away on the west side of the lake); Wildflower cafe in Watkins Glen for good beer and amazing mussels, truffle burger, fish tacos, and sweet potatoes fries; and Two Goats brewery for beer and there one and only item on their menu, a hot roast beef sandwich! The wineries are a variety of distances away with one being only a mile away... but all the ones we enjoyed were only 10 minutes away. Being at the cabin, you've got a front row seat to the prettiest lake sunrise and sunset which I recommend sacrificing the sleep to watch! Make a cup of coffee, walk the t be disappointed with a stay with Carolyn!!

  • Great little spot on gorgeous Seneca Lake, ideally located for exploring the area. Perfect for a single or couple (though very tall or large guests may find the bathroom and bedroom a little small, as the ceilings are lower there.) Tons of excellent wineries, and almost everything in the area is estate grown. I tried many delicious wines, but for me the highlight of the area is Watkins Glen State Park. If you go at daybreak, you'll have the whole place to yourself!

  • I just spent a weekend in Cindy's beautiful home on the East side of Seneca Lake for a wine trip, and went with a group of 8 friends. Each couple/person had their own private bedroom, which are all perfectly spacious. The living areas (there is one in each house) are large and comfortable and the play room is fantastic! The fire pit was a perfect size for our group, and there is a cute little gazebo and couple's swing in the back. It is only a few minutes walk from the lake, where we saw spectacular sunsets. There is also a play park with grills for cooking. Cindy's communication was great - she gave the the exact information I needed just as I was thinking of it. The Mott's were also kind enough to have travel sized shampoo,, soap, qtips, etc. She also left us two large bottles of wine as a welcome. I couldn't ask for a better host! Thanks for a great time!

    Erica2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy was an incredible host. The place was incredibly clean on arrival, there were plenty of extra linens and towels, and the Mott's even left two bottles of wine to welcome us. This was the third home I've stayed in at the finger lakes, and by far the most enjoyable and clean. Plus it is in close proximity to some great wineries on the trail!

    Mott's Lakeside Retreat
    6 reviews
Scenic views of the Finger Lakes is a best kept secret, and The Spur provides you with a perfect setting to enjoy the area. Private one bedroom & bath cabins on the East shore of Seneca Lake with breathtaking views and lakeside fun. Two night minimum stay with occasional one night stays available too.
For vacation fun on the Finger Lakes, it's great to have options, and the Cabins on the Spur are perfectly situated. Tucked away on a private road, The Spur is a picturesque property with amazing sunsets and moonlight. I have a home on the property and am very familiar with the local attractions and activities. Over 25 wineries, breweries, distilleries and unique restaurants with locally grown organic produce are all located within ten - 15 miles. Many of them offer live music at night and scenic views of the lake and vineyards. Other daytime activities include hiking on easy and challenging trails up a gorge to view breathtaking stops at waterfalls. A public golf course is also nearby. There are three cozy cabins and each cabin is equipped with private bath with shower, queen bed, air conditioner, ceiling fan, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and coffee, linens, towels, hair drier and wifi.
The Spur is located about a mile from Lodi State Park. While The Spur is on a dead end road, it accesses a small lake road that will bring you to the park.
  • We visited the Finger Lakes for the first time and found Maura's place relatively last minute. Her cabin and location exceeded all of our expectations and her role as host was top notch. She went above and beyond, answered all our questions and offered great suggestions, as well as making sure we were happy the entire visit. The Spur is located very close to a number of great wineries and state parks. Highly recommend the stay, we will back to visit with Maura.

  • My wife and I perused available lodgings in the Finger Lakes, and Maura's cabins immediately stood out to us, both because of the cozy looking cabins and the direct access to Seneca Lake. Our stay met and exceeded our already high expectations. Maura responded to our booking request remarkably quickly and provided all of the information we needed by the day we checked in. Her cabins are situated on a beautiful piece of Seneca Lake, and we spent hours paddling in the kayaks she made available and just relaxing on the dock. The property is a short drive from several terrific wineries and restaurants. The cabin itself was comfortable, clean, and had a lovely blend of antique and rustic furniture and decor. Maura introduced herself when we returned from kayaking and is a consummate hostess. She offered dining recommendations and suggested some sites based on our interest in history. We're already eager to return, because Maura's place is well worth the drive from Virginia.

    Jay2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was perfect....clean, comfortable and adorable. The grounds around the cabin are beautiful and relaxing. We had access to whatever we needed. Maura was friendly and we felt completely at home. She chatted with us and gave us all kinds of information about the area, what to do and where to eat. We wanted a quiet weekend away and that is exactly what we got. We kayaked, read on the dock or on the porch, walked along the lake and then ventured out to see the sights around. It was just was just what we needed!

    Sylvia2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • I'll be brief--this place is a little piece of heaven. My college-aged daughter and I absolutely loved it. Maura, the owner, is an absolute delight and my only disappointment is that I didn't get to know her better. Actually, my biggest disappointment is that we had to leave--I could stay here for a long time, and in the future I hope to.

  • We really enjoyed our stay so much, first we rent a cabin, didnt know what we expected as we didnt have experience as Germans, Thank you for the warm welcome, lots of helpful advices and the surroundings have been amazing, We would be if we had more time!! Ines and Henner

  • What a great time. Maura is such a gracious host. Wether your stay is a quiet getaway or you are there for the wineries/events. Maura is in touch with the pulse of the Finger Lakes area. Always offered suggestions of things to do during your stay. The cabin was clean and cosy. We will visit again.

    Gregory2015-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • The Spur stay was unbelievable! Beyond expectations. Maura is perhaps one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is exceedingly helpful in making your stay in the area wonderful. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The dock and the lake was exactly what I needed to relax and restore. Maura is a most hospitable and creative host. She even made up a little s'mores supply kit to use on the fire pit down by the water. An absolutely wonderful experience!

    Nichole2014-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this place was great: lovely cabin with way more "luxuries" than I was expecting. Incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful host. Lovely setting. Enjoyed taking a boat out, enjoyed sitting on the dock and swimming. Couldn't recommend more.

  • Great place to check out the wine trail or relax by the lake. Tucked away on a near private road it's really quiet! Could use a couple of updates but it was great for me and my wife and dog.

  • We had such a wonderful stay at Jeff's lake house. The location is absolutely breathtaking! Jeff was incredibly responsive, we had a minor issue with the front door and he had a friend (thanks Steve!) out to the house within the hour to fix it. Any time I messaged with a question he got back to me within minutes. We enjoyed the lake and our time at the house so much we didn't even go to any wineries. Thank you Jeff and Sonny for everything!!

    Denise2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was just a few steps away from the Lake. Great private backyard with views of the lake. Jeff answered back very quickly to any questions we had! It was a great location within 15 minutes of several wineries and breweries!

    Elyse2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff's place had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. If you're looking for the latest and greatest and somewhere fancy, this isn't it, but the house was clean and charming inside. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the view of the lake is beautiful. Jeff was on top of check-in communication and we had no issues.

    Thomas2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place. Simple with a great view of the lake. Fire pit was wonderful at night. 2 mins from the closest winery and 20 mins from a long line of wineries/breweries. Just two of us stayed here looking to enjoy wine and beer tasting for the weekend and have a place to crash and enjoy the scenery in the evening and morning. This home provided everything we needed/wanted for our easy weekend getaway. You could easily do add a second couple or have a family stay here comfortably. If we come back to the finger lakes, we will definitely look to stay here again.

    Lodi Point Cottage

This quiet 1950s-era cottage on the east side of Seneca Lake is in the heart of the Finger Lakes, New York’s premier wine region. The area is a paradise for foodies and locavores, offering everything from high-end restaurants to Amish food stands.
The cottage sits up on the bank overlooking the lake in the dappled shade of hundred-year-old oak trees; the property includes 150 feet of private waterfront and furnishes exquisite views of the lake and spectacular sunsets. It is beautifully decorated and fully furnished, with a large living and dining area as well as 2 bedrooms sleeping a total of 4, a bathroom with shower, and a spacious kitchen. The large screened-in porch is ideal for enjoying a lake-view meal or a peaceful afternoon nap. PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO WEEKLY RENTALS IN HIGH SEASON. The quoted rates include Seneca County's new room tax on vacation rentals.
I love the natural beauty, the history, the wineries, the funky little towns and villages, the waterfalls, the sunsets, the fall colors against the blue of the lake; there's something for everyone in the Finger Lakes.
  • Peace and quiet and beautiful view!!

  • Rosemary and Jim were wonderful hosts, and the cottage was everything we expected and more. My friends and I decided to make it a tradition to visit the Finger Lakes every year and stay in your lovely cottage. Thank you both so much!

    Rebecca2015-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for a weekend and really enjoyed the place. We were gone most of the time but loved coming "home". Right on the lake! Definitely will stay again and recommended.

  • The host canceled this reservation 24 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

    Tammy2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Rosemary had left things very nicely for us. The bottle of wine and breakfast items were a special treat! We were greeted by Caroline who showed us around the cottage and explained the essentials. The setting was beautiful , overlooking the lake on a gorgeous fall weekend! We enjoyed the many wineries in the area, the Ithaca Farmers Market, and a great dinner at Dano's on the patio.

    Mary Carol2014-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The views are fantastic. We had beautiful weather and sat out on the screened in porch/room as long as we could. The fresh breezes and quiet made it a relaxing family reunion. The kitchen is well laid out and equipped with everything a traveling cook needs plus a full sized refrigerator. There is a piano with music books which was unexpected. The beds were really warm and comfortable. The Coverts are welcoming then great at giving guests privacy during their stay.

    Karen2014-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We spent our honeymoon here and it was amazing! The house was perfect and full of anything we needed. The host was next door in case we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back for years to come!

  • This is an amazing custom lakefront home. We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the picnic table on the dock for soaking up the sun and the firepit in the evening! We even got the kayaks out! The entire house and deck has beautiful lake views and morning coffee on the deck was perfect! This is a great location to enjoy the water and the winetrail/breweries! • The home and surrounding grounds overlooking Lake Seneca was awesome. The post and beam architecture of this house was the perfect backdrop for our vacation in the Finger Lakes region. I highly recommend this property for a great experience.

    Fred2016-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • I visited the Woodland Shores getaway in early November for a “momcation” with 7 ladies. It was perfect! A remote location, but yet easy to get to; private but fine dining within a half an hour, and of course the wineries were a stone’s throw away. We spent a 3 day weekend… one day totally at home, exploring the woods, venturing down to the lake, and enjoying a fire in the fire pit (perfect for cool fall day). The second day we went to Geneva (adorable town) and the third day we enjoyed a jaunt to Ithaca (beautiful falls, good food, fun shopping). The house is situated on a wooded lot, overlooking Seneca Lake—we could look out from the living room and see the beautiful views—and there was still foliage! It was more than we expected and a great value. As for the house itself it is exactly as pictured…high end cabin living! We each had comfortable sleeping accommodations; the open living, dining and kitchen areas allow for easy socializing. It’s the kind of home you wish was yours, we will certainly come back again. Also John was quick to respond to questions and was available via email during our stay if we had any issues (which we did not). Highly recommended!

    Abigail2016-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Johns home was perfectly suited for a large party stay. There were 9 adults total allowing for 3 private rooms, and 2 semi private sleeping spaces. The home is very well kept and our host was easy as could be while coordinating. Our favorite amenities were the professional grade kitchen appliances, water front views, and the private outdoor fire pit/hammocks. Our time was so enjoyable we all vowed to make it an annual adventure and hope to stay with John when we do!

    Rachel2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in a wonderful location right in the middle of the "action" on Seneca Lake. My wife and I stayed 3 nights with a few other couples to celebrate a 30th birthday. It comfortably slept 10-12 people when including pull-outs, etc. The house proved to be the perfect home base for a weekend of relaxation and exploring the wineries and other attractions in the area. Would definitely go back!

    Tim2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • This house is absolutely amazing. It is large, clean, beautiful, and is on an expansive property. The views are stunning and the equipment provided was top notch. John is extremely prompt when you ask anything. I highly recommend booking here!

Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, famous for our wine, brew, ciders, cheeses, and locally grown foods. Canoe, 2 kayaks, grill, everything you need for a fun, relaxing visit. Great dock and deck space. Central to Geneva, Ithaca, Watkins Glen.
This is a wonderful space, right on the water!! Park right outside the home, enter on the second floor. Walk downstairs to the living area, step outside onto the deck, and enjoy the beautiful lake! Although our home can accommodate 6, please note that there is one queen bed in a private room. The other room is 'dorm like' with one full size and two single beds.
Come enjoy all we have to offer in the heart of the Finger Lakes!! Great neighborhood, road dead ends to lake.
  • We spent a long weekend at the cottage with a bunch of family members. You cannot beat the location...the water is right there and the wine trail is so close too! We spent more time outside than inside! The fire pit and dock are all you need. Terri even stopped down to check on us! The area is just so beautiful, so we'll be back!

    Katie 2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Terri was a wonderful and accommodating host, and her cottage was lovely. Our party was attending a wedding nearby, and the cottage was a great place to relax and have fun when we weren't attending the wedding. We swam, we canoed/kayaked, we made a fire in the fire pit, we grilled, we sat on the dock and had our morning coffee...and when the weekend was over we didn't want to leave. I would definitely recommend Terri's place.

    Liz2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Terri let us know the layout might be a little too cozy for three couples (my husband and I, our 2 daughters and their partners) but we made it work beautifully over our oldest' s wedding weekend in nearby Hector. The amply outfitted kitchen was a great staging place for some wedding food, and the gorgeous sunsets and lapping waves made it a welcome oasis during the hectic time. We felt close to all the lakeside wineries and restaurants. Loved the all the suggestions and bumper stickers for local sights, sounds and sensibilities! Wished we'd had time to take advantage of the thoughtfullly provided binoculars and bird ID book. We're grateful to have had this lakeside base!

  • Excellent location right on Seneca Lake, with all necessary aquatic equipment for maximum enjoyment. Very well located near best restaurant (Dano's, Stonecat Cafe)--setting is absurdly pretty.

  • Terri was such a great host. She was very easy to get in touch with and was full of so many suggestions for our weekend visit to the fingerlakes wine tastings. She and her husband Warren greeted us when we arrived with such warmth I felt like we were coming to see old friends. The cottage was in the perfect location for wine tastings, breweries and excellent restaurants. We loved being able to sit on the dock, drink wine and have a fire in the fire pit in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

    Ellen2016-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Terri was lovely. She met us at the house, showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was in the perfect location. Right on the lake with a great dock for swimming and fishing. Had my 18 month old nephew with me and he had a great time. So family friendly. Would definitely go again for longer

We're just up the hill and we are available any time for recommendations on things to do in the Finger Lakes, from the best local wineries to taste, restaurants to visit, and events happening during your stay. Peace and quiet. That's what you can expect when you stay at the cottage. The cottage itself is very secluded from the sparsely populated neighborhood. (4 other homes). It is 1 1/2 miles from the nearest county road, which is buffered by a dense woodland and an Amish farm, so there is no road noise. State land borders the northern boundary, and except for an occasional picnicker on the state beach, you'll rarely encounter anyone. The cottage is centered between the cities of Geneva to the north and Watkins Glen to the south. That is where most of the boat traffic resides. You'll feel like you own the whole lake. Although your retreat is private and quiet, you're just a few minutes from live music at many local wineries every weekend night. The college towns of Geneva (Hobart & William Smith Colleges) and Ithaca (Cornell University & Ithaca College) are close by if you're looking for the energy that accompanies a college town. Of course you're only a half hour from world famous Watkins Glen Motor Speedway, which has races just about every weekend during the racing season. The newly opened Del Lago Casino is only 30 minutes away in Tyre. You'll need a car to get around the area. Although 2-wheel drive vehicles negotiate the steep driveway down to the lake with no problem, you might feel more comfortable with 4-wheel or all-wheel drive. 4th of July fireworks on the western side of the lake can be seen for miles from the dock.

  • Great place, will definitely book again. Very nice, quaint 2 bedroom cottage on the lake. Myself, wife and 18 month old son and another family with a year old son stayed for 5 nights. Place was perfect. Had everything we needed, all we did was bring food and personal items. Kenny and Linda were great. Place is very secluded and quiet. Has wifi and a large computer mounted to the wall, perfect for the kids when we got rain.

  • We had an absolutely wonderful time at Kenny and Linda's cottage. The property is amazing--beautiful woods, an incredible dock (the upper deck is so cool), a big beach and QUIET. Location is near many wineries, and close to a grocery store too. Kenny and Linda were gracious and thoughtful hosts. They were both helpful and accessible, and respectful of our privacy. They took great care of us, and we enjoyed getting to know them. The cottage is small, simple and beautifully updated. Comfortable and very clean, with a nice breeze and the sound of the lake through the windows.

  • Wonderful place to stay on the finger lakes! Extremely scenic, peaceful, gorgeous location in the middle of the lake. Almost no boat traffic even during our "prime time" late August stay. The cottage is adorable, clean, and comfortable for 2-4 guests. The dock is an exceptional place to watch the sunset or the stars come out, and the beach is full of finger lakes fossils to discover. Kenny and Linda were superior hosts and responsive without being overbearing during our stay. They accommodated special requests (plugging in an electric vehicle, giving a tutorial on use of the Sunfish sail boat), and were warm and welcoming to our whole party. Highly recommended.

  • Great hosts! Great communication. Lovely cottage. Perfectly located on the water and close to so many things. Wonderful!

    Linda2017-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Kenny and Linda made us feel very welcome at their beautiful lakeside cottage. From the time we arrived until we departed, we felt at home. Ken and Linda met us upon arrival to cover some basics and answer our questions. Our hosts were easily accessible on very short notice but left us feel totally alone and isolated with nothing but views of the lake and in company of the squirrels, numerous birds, and water fowl. The pictures of the location and cottage don’t do it justice, so much better in person! Be sure to fire up the awesome grill – it’s perfect for doing chicken or ribs – low and slow. Having dinner down on the dock at the dining table while watching the sunset will have you hooked for another trip back like it has us. It was always a toss-up each evening to kayak or dine at sunset so we rotated each night, what fun. The location is a fantastic launch point for a ton of wineries (and a few great breweries) on the east side of Seneca Lake; in addition, there are amazing state parks in the area with awesome hiking trails (Watkins Glenn, Robert H. Treman State Park). This place is a gem – just be sure you leave us 5 days open for our next trip!

    Paul2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • From the beauty of the setting to Kenny and Linda's hospitality, everything exceeded my expectations and created a wonderful experience for my family. I would highly recommend and plan to return!

    Andrew2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Kenny and Linda were great hosts. They paid attention to all of our needs. The cottage was cozy and had great views of the water. Sunsets were spectacular! We started our day with coffee on the deck and ended our day with wine on the dock. It doesn't get any better than that.

    Wanda2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kenny & Linda do everything they can to ensure a good time is had by all. The location is perfect; on the water, secluded, close to everything. The place is neat and clean, they have kayaks and a fire pit with ample wood. Fishing rod, towels, water shoes...really, they have everything. I feel like I could have packed just a swimming suit and been just fine. We were sad to leave and cant wait to go back! By far the best place we've ever rented.

    Mara2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as advertised. There's a nice view of Seneca Lake from the private, clean suite. Katie gave us a great recommendation on a restaurant when we realized most places aren't open on Sundays. It all worked out very well. The room is spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom. Netflix and Hulu were a nice touch for some late night viewing. Definitely a good launch point to the finger lakes wineries. Thanks for everything.

  • A beautiful spot and located near wineries, restaurants, parks, and beaches. A lot of care went into making us comfortable. The suite is exactly as described. Katie is easy to communicate with and very helpful. We would definitely return.

  • Katie was so sweet & the space was perfect for our trip. She provided suggestions, brochures and provided many useful amenities. The view from the back is beautiful, bed was comfortable and we definitely utilized the coffee maker! No shortage of outlets, you could even plug your phone into the lamps to charge them (USB). Close to restaurants with great food/prices and short trip to many excellent wineries!

    Angela2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place to stay! The suite was quiet and private, as well as very bright and comfortable. We loved the backyard and the view of the lake from it. Katie was a fantastic host and she offered plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to eat, which was very much appreciated. She and Aaron are a wealth of knowledge about the area. We felt right at home. Great experience, we'd love to return.

    Kristin2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Katie was excellent with communicating and ensuring a smooth check-in. She met us outside of the house, showed us around the place and recommended many dinner spots for us. She was very accommodating. The apartment itself was very clean! Modern and newly renovated bathroom, with hairdryer, towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Everything you could need. There was a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and 2 gallon water jug for us as well. The bed and futon were extremely comfortable. The view was impossible to beat during sunset! We enjoyed our morning coffee in the back yard and watched sun come up over the lake. Location was perfect as we visited many wineries in Hector and Ovid. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lake view vacation home nestled among the beautiful vineyards of Seneca Lake. Great location for hiking, biking, swimming, and boating at several nearby parks. Short drive to many wineries, restaurants, breweries and a distillery.
Old granary along the old Lehigh Valley rail line converted into 3 story charming vacation home nestled in the vineyards of the Finger Lakes region. We are right in the middle of the Seneca Lake wine trail, with 5 wineries and two restaurants within walking distance, and a dozen more within a few minutes drive. The home overlooks Seneca Lake, the largest of New York's scenic Finger Lakes, and is convenient to the Finger Lakes National Forest: a thousand acres of upland forest, lakefront, fishing ponds, scenic meadows and 30 miles of hiking, biking, and horse riding trails.
We are spoiled to live in one of the most beautiful regions of New York State with so much to do. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Finger Lakes region.
  • We loved spending meals in the porch seeing the sunrise and set over the lake. We were able to walk and bike to many wineries and restaurants and were really close to hiking in the national forest. Great blend of secluded and near wineries/restaurants.

Modern architecture overlooking Seneca Lake and active vineyards located in the heart of the East Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Steps away from Dano's Heuriger on Seneca. A stay at Seneca House includes a bottle of local wine to enjoy on our deck.
Designed in 2015 by Architect Andrea Simitch. Lovely walks in the vineyards, wine tastings and great restaurants near by.
Located right off of Route 414 easy to find. 35 minutes from Ithaca and Geneva, 45 min from Corning, 15 min from Watkins Glen
  • This was our first AirBnB experience and Karen and Dano set the bar high for future expectations! We loved everything about our experience and have already talked about planning a trip back in the near future. The location was ideal for visiting local wineries, breweries and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, our dinner at Dano's was scumptious and the sunset view was spectacular!

  • Lovely home and the food they provide in the morning is delicious

    Carolyn2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed with Karen the night before our wedding and the night of our wedding. (We got married on the grounds of their restaurant next door, Dano's Heuriger, and they did a spectactular job hosting our ceremony and reception!) I cannot speak highly enough about the beauty of her home and how modern and comfortable the accommodations were. Karen and her husband Dano are friendly hosts who have great tips on things to do in the area, but they are never intrusive and you can totally do your own thing as well. I loved that Karen provided a breakfast each morning - fresh baked crumpets with preserves, coffee, and tea. She and Dano were very accommodating about being flexible about our check-in and check-out times. This is a beautiful, comfortable accommodation if you are traveling around the Finger Lakes.

    Joyce2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place is great and both she and her husband were very accommodating and nice and both are great to talk to as well. The included breakfast (bread/croissant, butter, jam, fruit, and coffee) was simple but absolutely delicious. They also have a restaurant with very delicious food and a great view next door and there are plenty of wineries and some state parks close-by, so there is a lot to do.

There is a Big M grocery store and Kinney Drug Store down the street as well.
  • Great stay for a long weekend. 15 mins or less to Cayuga lake wineries and half hour to Watkins Glen. Not much to do in Ovid, but close to a lot of the Seneca lake wineries. Clean apartment with many amenities.

    Nicole2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment. Clean and quiet. A couple of food options in walking distance which was great. Takes no time at all to get to wineries, so even though you're out a ways, it's central to Seneca and Cayuga wineries. Kristen was great and easy to get a hold of and quick to answer our questions. Highly recommend and would stay again without a second thought!

    Lindsay2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • The place was wonderful. Much more than I expected. On top of being clean and comfortable, there was coffee and wine and snacks and it had all the comforts of home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who'd like a nice homey place to stay.

  • We loved staying at this recently remodeled apartment. It is clean and nicely decorated. It is centrally located and allowed us to explore several of the Finger Lakes. Kristen was very responsive to our requests!

  • Kristen's place in Ovid was perfect for our weekend getaway. Communication with Kristen was very easy and she made sure to contact us a few days before and also during the stay to ensure everything was going well. The home itself was great for my girlfriend and I. Everything was recently updated and we found that the front porch was a great place for breakfast. The WIFI was fast, bed was very comfortable, and living area and bathroom were very nice. Our only suggestion to Kristen would be to add another mirror somewhere - the only one is above the sink in the bathroom. We enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again!

    Chris2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was everything I could have hoped for as a place to relax after a long day with friends at the wineries. The apartment is conveniently located both in its regards to things to do (restaurant, brewery, late-night convenience store) and everything on the east shore of Lake Seneca. The full kitchen and provided coffee were much appreciated on those cold mornings. Kristen was extremely quick to respond and helpful with suggestions on local places to visit (some pamphlets on other places were also available at the apartment). Definitely would stay again!

  • We had a great stay at Steve & Kimberly's place. The apartment was clean, spacious, and filled with notes that helped us plan which local wineries & restaurants to try out! Great little coffee shop right down the street, as well as brewery/distillery. Hosts gave plenty of details about check in/out, and helped us out in a pinch when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Thanks for making this a great trip!

  • I reserved this apartment for my best friend and children who were visiting us from out of state. The apartment was spacious, clean, and conveniently located. • We had such a wonderful time! The apartment fit 4 easily and we even squeezed in another. However if you are looking for a spacious area for a long term stay I would stick to two. We were in town for a wedding so we didn't do any touristy things but it seemed very close to many wineries. We ended up deciding to cook dinner and breakfast in. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and the grocery store down the road had everything else. The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of room. Also we had 4 girls take showers and never ran out of hot water. All of the girls with me agreed that the apartment was way better than getting a hotel room and a much better price too! This was my first AirBnB stay and I was very impressed! Definitely will be looking for more!

    Hannah2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was a perfect launch pad for our Finger Lakes trip - we were able to explore wineries and beautiful sites around three of the lakes over three days, and come back to a comfortable and quiet home away from home in the evenings. Welcome to the Seneca Lake Loft! We are located in the heart of the Finger Lakes on the Wine Trail between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes in the Village of Ovid, New York. Our Pre-American Civil War building boasts original brick, high ceilings and rounded archways. MUST BE ABLE TO DO STEPS. Within minutes of the loft are; wineries, distilleries, restaurants microbreweries and amazing lake views.
Downtown Village of OVID, NY 2nd floor, private, full kitchen and fireplace complete with bluetooth. Queen size bed and Queen size pull out couch. Laundromat across the street. Walking distance from supermarket in case you forgot something.
Our neighborhood consists of small businesses in downtown Ovid, New York. The apartment overlooks a park and three Historic Courthouse Buildings entitled, "The Three Bears". They were imprinted in Greek Revival architecture and erected in 1845.
  • The Seneca Lake Loft was perfect for our first visit to the Finger Lakes. We were greeted by Connie and Ron who were very welcoming and filled with knowledge about the area. Upon entering the loft, we found a kind note and a bottle of wine, which gave us a great first impression of the delectable wine in the area. They also left us with healthy snacks and a Keurig with coffee for our stay. We had plenty of pamphlets and maps that were in the kitchen to help plan our wine tour for the next day. The loft was the perfect size for my fiancé and I and we were able to use the kitchen to cook a few meals during our stay. It is located across the street from a grocery store, pizzeria, diner, liquor store, and two minutes walking distance to a local distillery and brewery. The TV was equipped with Netflix and Hulu Plus so we were able to catch up on our favorite shows. Even though it was in the high nineties outside, the loft was air conditioned so we were able to stay comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying at this loft if you are looking for a relaxing, enjoyable experience and a place close to many local wineries. We will be recommending Connie and Ron to both our family and friends and look forward to visiting with them again in the future!

    Elizabeth2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • My two girlfriends and I came up to Ovid for a girls weekend getaway before the one gets married. Connie's loft was the perfect place to unwind after the trip up and after a long day of wine tasting. There was plenty of room to sleep and lots of room in the kitchen if you'd like to cook. All of the amenities were there to make our stay completely comfortable! It was a very short car ride to the wineries and we enjoyed a great dinner in nearby Geneva. The coffee shop downstairs is the icing on the cake - fantastic coffee!

    Robin2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time in the Finger Lakes Region. My mother and I enjoyed Connie and Ron's hospitality. They were very quick to respond to questions we had and everything was just as clean and beautiful as the pictures on the site show.

    Lyndsey2016-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Connie was a supreme hostess. Her communication pre-trip was quick and helpful and she met us right on time to exchange the key and introduce us to the loft. She left us bagels, apples, wine, and a few snacks! She also gave us a tour of her soon-to-be coffee shop downstairs. The loft was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, all the amenities you'd need. The sofa bed was the most comfortable pull out I've slept on. It's also conveniently located close to Seneca Lake. smack dab in the middle of the Cayuga & Seneca Wine Trails and right in town near a few restaurants, a grocery store, an ice cream shop, a pharmacy, a brewery, and the park.

    Deborah2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I just fell in love with the Seneca Lake Loft! It was a GREAT central base to explore both Cayuga and Seneca Lake wineries, breweries, and eateries. It is clean, comfortable, and charming and we felt like we were coming home every day after a full day of hiking and sightseeing. Connie, Don, and their family were nice to chat with and they gave us great suggestions and directions. The bonuses for us were being right across from the park, A.J.s diner, the Big M market, and right down the street from the ice cream shop. This is a terrific get away spot for couples!

    Jim2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Connie and Rob were terrific hosts. They even gave us a tour of their soon-to-be coffee shop on the ground floor. The apartment was super clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Connie had a few breakfast-type foods ready for us just in case, and a complimentary bottle of wine. It was super comfortable and cozy in there. I'd definitely stay there again.

    James2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Connie's place for four nights, and everything was just perfect! Connie is the perfect host! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, fruit and bread in the fridge, and Connie explained in detail about food options and wineries nearby, other things to do, where to rent kayaks...etc. The loft is right in the center of the finger lakes area with all the great wineries around you. Beautiful scenery as we drove around. The apartment is nice, clean, cozy, beautiful, with pretty decorations, and we enjoyed every minute in it. If you feel like stay in for the night, the TV is equipped with Netflix so that's a plus. The loft is air-conditioned, but it could get a bit chill during the night beginning early September in the area, so you probably won't need the AC at all. And it was very convenient that we could park right in front of the building. Connie was very accommodating, very fast replying our messages. We just felt so at home. There were so many things I love about this place, and we wish we could stay longer. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the light, the privacy, the dock, the lake front, the kayaks, the canoe, the fire pit, the deck, the view, and the stars at night. My place is good for couples, bicyclists, wine lovers, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
2 bedroom, 1 bathroom with expansive lake views - and private dock and beach. Escape from the world at Caywood Cottage! You'll feel your worries melting away as you leave the pavement behind and wind your way past horses, an organic farm, and through 1.25 miles of vineyards before arriving home. This cozy cottage on a private, dead end gravel road (that we share with Silver Thread Winery!) features modern conveniences, wooded privacy and lake access for those wishing to sip, splash, and relax. A short flight of stairs from our four-car parking area leads you to a wonderfully large deck. If you're able to tear yourself away from the view, the front door leads you into a bright, open great room. The beautiful eat-in kitchen opens to the living area with a leather couch and loveseat and a flat screen TV, with Netflix and a blu-ray player, complete with a wide array of videos for cinefiles of all ages. A closet full of games and books, help pass the occasional rainy day - or provide a welcome distraction after dinner before a night of campfire, S'mores and Riesling! Original hardwood floors bring clean character to the home and huge picture windows with breath-taking panoramic lake views escort the outside beauty in. Two cozy bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, join the queen size pull out couch in the living room in providing comfortable sleeping spaces for up to 6 adults!
Our neighborhood is a group of 17 cottages sitting on a picturesque bluff, tucked away at the end of a long gravel driveway. Sitting over a mile from the nearest road, the only noise you'll hear are the waves, wildlife, and occasional boat on the lake! Our road also services the lake front, allowing you to access the lake with no stairs to climb - a perfect way to get kids and gear down to the lake!
  • Perfect getaway at a beautiful lakefront house overlooking scenic Seneca Lake. Greg was timely, communicative, and thoughtful, we arrived to find the house clean, tidy, and sweetly set up for our arrival, with a bottle of wine, a welcoming letter, and instructions for how to take full advantage of the beautiful property (dock, boats, and amazing views!!!!). Thanks for all your efforts!! Highly recommended.

  • Great location! Clean, beautiful views, great wines nearby, what more can you ask? Greg made some great recommendations for nearby wineries and breweries, and the bottle of wine was a nice touch. Overall very pleased with the experience!

  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time in this adorable cabin with a stunning view of the lake. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine from the winery right up the road. We relaxed, had wonderful meals on the deck overlooking the lake, smores by the fire pit, enjoyed the local wineries, live music at Wagners Brewery and a great dinner at Stonecat Café (both recommended by Greg). The cabin is SUPER clean and is fully equipped with cooking utensils whether you cook inside or BBQ on the grill. Coffee and a variety of teas also provided which was nice. We relaxed on the private dock and enjoyed the canoes and kayaks. Greg was ALWAYS available and especially helpful with any recommendations on things to do such as biking and hiking. If you like to bike, I would recommend the Catherine Valley Trail. And definitely do a hike at Taughannock Falls and drive 15 minutes to Ithaca to have lunch at the Ithaca Bakery. I would definitely recommend Greg's cottage when you visit the Finger Lakes.

  • The best experience ever in airbnb!!! The host is super thoughtful and welcoming! We ever got a bottle of welcoming wine, and it tastes great. Everything is just perfect for a quite and fun getaway. We love the view, the kayaks, the great wineries around there , the well-equipped kitchen(even chopsticks and teapot are provided!!), and super comfy bed! It's also super sweet that the host provides a first-aid kits! It saved my sister's allergy! I'll definitely stay here again if I get a chance. Highly recommend!

  • Greg's place is a clean cottage with 2 small bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom, and a nice open kitchen & living space. The kitchen has newer appliances and everything you need. The deck runs the width of the lakeside of the cottage, and is great for morning coffee, evening wine, barbecuing, and eating lunch/dinner on the picnic table - all while enjoying the view & sounds of the lake. While we spent most of our visit out on the deck, at night we did enjoy Greg's tv offerings, which include Netflix & Slacker Radio. The couches are very comfy. There are about 18 stairs between the cottage & road - no big deal, but you have to be ambulatory. There are no stairs to the lake, so you either walk or drive down the road to the dock. Greg has 2 kayaks and 2 canoes ready to go, with paddles & life jackets in the boat house. The location is great - down a long dirt road past a vineyard. There are many fine vineyards in the area, and a trip to Watkins Glen is reasonable. It's very quiet at night, and pretty much all of the time. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

  • Greg's place was just as it appears in the photos. The cottage is very cozy, comfortable and clean with a great deck overlooking gorgeous Seneca Lake. The setting couldn't be more beautiful in the middle of vineyards, and the colorful fall foliage was a bonus. Excellent amenities with kayaks, canoe and floats (too cold mid-October to use them, but next time we'll be going when it's a little warmer!). Went to Wagner Brewery which is right down the road- great place to have a few drinks on the deck. Had a fantastic dinner at a local restaurant. Went as a girls getaway weekend, and it was just what we needed! Everyone loved the place. Would definitely recommend Greg's place to anyone looking for a Finger Lakes getaway. We'll be going back!

  • Gregs place is lovely. It sits right on Seneca Lake with a boat house and dock. Really accommodating place with lots of nice wineries and breweries nearby and stunning views. We had a great time there!

*** FALL SPECIAL: REDUCED MID-WEEK NIGHTLY RATE *** Our cozy cottage is in the heart of wine country and overlooks Seneca Lake from the east side, so the sunsets are amazing and filled with spectacular colors. The atmosphere on this uncongested lake ranges from calm and peaceful to joyful and fun.
Our cozy cottage is right in the heart of wine country and overlooks Seneca Lake from the east side, so the sunsets are amazing and filled with spectacular colors. Set among summer cottages and homes in a rustic/country-style neighborhood, our property has 45 feet of lake frontage with a dock. Depending on the weather and day of the week, the atmosphere on this uncongested lake ranges from calm and peaceful to joyful and fun. Our newly renovated cottage features a luxurious bathroom with a whirlpool tub, an open floor plan between the kitchen and living room, and a deck with a comfortable patio set and gas grill. There are two sliding glass doors that lead from the living room to the deck, which allow for nice lake views through the surrounding trees. Four adults or three adults and two children can sleep comfortably in this one bedroom cottage with a queen-size bed, a twin-size bed, and a full-size pullout couch. Further Description The lakefront has a shaded area with a bonfire ring and picnic table, as well as a sunny dock. You can borrow the owner's two kayaks, peddle boat, and row boat, and use the life preservers and camp chairs that are kept in the boat shed. There's something for everyone, including swimming, boating, kayaking, floating, long walks along a dirt road through vineyards, fishing, and romantic evenings watching the sunset and drinking local wine.
Our lake house is located in a small neighborhood, with about 15 other properties. Most of the other cottages are seasonal, and so their owners come about every other weekend during the summer. So, it's often very quiet and peaceful in the Spring, Fall, and Winter, as well as in the middle of the week during the Summer. On weekends it's more lively with a lot of activity though. Seneca Lake is the widest and largest of the Finger Lakes, and so it tends to have more sailboats (as opposed to motor boats and jet skis) than are on the other smaller, more congested finger lakes, making the atmosphere a little more quiet and peaceful.
  • Mary was so kind and helpful. She was always there when I have a question. The place is in an excellent location and have good associated activities indoor as well as outdoor. Mary suggested good places to visit which makes the trip sooo fruitful. Thanks Mohammed

  • Rustic cabin setting. Beautiful sunset views and great to have a campfire. Having a grill on the deck was great. We would recommend bringing personal insect repellent if visiting in the fall. Owners were very easy to contact to answer any questions.

    Ann2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Mary's beautiful cabin! We were looking for a bit of peaceful relaxation and couldn't have found anywhere better for it! The place was clean and comfortable with everything you would need for your time there. Too bad it was such a short stay... BONUS - we were able to visit Silver Thread Vineyard, just up the drive and thanks to Shannon, sample their amazing selection of wines and buy a few for home!

    Glenn2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at Mary's very much! The lake was gorgeous and so peaceful. We brought our two dogs and they had a blast swimming. I think we were there during a slower part of the season so we had lots of privacy and very few people around. The location is off the main road a bit but we still had no trouble getting to the breweries and wineries for drinks and a great meal in the evening. The house was very cozy and clean. The deck was great and has a comfortable table and chairs. We took advantage of the kayaks and the new floating platform. Great amenities to have for sure! You definitely need to bring a couple extra towels for the beach and showers. We also stopped at the grocery store and stocked up on water, food and paper products as Mary suggested in the description. Also, make sure you have everything you need when you go down to the lake because making trips up and down the stairs to the house may not work well for some folks-unless you are looking for a good workout

    Amy2016-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We picked this cozy cottage to get away from it all, and we certainly did! Thanks to the detailed information from the host, we found our way down the winding gravel road past a winery and had an enchanting stay by the lake. Our kids had a wonderful time and especially loved being able to use the pedal boat. The place was cute, well-equipped and had the most amazing sunsets.

Brand new 2BR cottage with high-end luxury finishes, located on a beautiful babbling brook in a quaint village
The Interlaken Cottage is merely 10 minutes from both the Seneca and Cayuga wine trails, so you don't have to choose! It is located in a quaint village with a brewery and restaurant in walking distance. What makes the cottage most special is the precious creek running through the property.
Interlaken is a very quiet little town. We have a gas station that has just about everything you need, a sandwich shop called Mamma Mia's, and a brand new brewery just a block away! Interlaken is centrally located to both the Seneca and Cayuga wine trails - ten minutes to either.
  • Sara was apologetic about the cleaner, and I imagine future guests will find a clean, lovely home when they stay there. We loved staying in Interlaken; my grandsons loved playing in the creek, and her home was well appointed. Sara was excellent at communicating with us. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are going to the Finger Lakes!

We welcome ALL! Easy to find 25 minutes north of Ithaca, we are in the heart of organic farm land and wine, cider and cheese country. We are close to great restaurants, vineyards, gorges, lakes, and more, and only a 45 minute drive from the famed Farm Sanctuary. We are a chemical-FREE house, offer a comfy queen sized natural latex mattress and a delicious, organic and mostly local continental breakfast. Across the street are a sweet herd of dairy cows. FYI: NO WIFI (only mental tranquility!)
We have cats and dogs- lots of them. The suite consists of the bedroom and an adjoining private living room, which we do not allow our animals to be in. The bathroom is two rooms away. There is one tub/shower that the house shares, but we are happy to defer to your schedule. We are on well water which is healthier than the local tap water, but sometimes has a bit of a sulphur smell. Sulphur is very good for the skin- and we ourselves don't even notice it but in the interest of full disclosure I mention it here- some may not like it. We are a non chemical using household. We use natural cleaning products, (which are as effective as chemicals, non-polluting, and more effective over the long term) have only non synthetic furniture, a sumptuous natural latex mattress, and provide organic coffee and tea as well as an ample mostly organic and/or local continental breakfast. We also supply organic cotton sheets and towels. IMPORTANT: We ask that you not use body mists or any airborne sprays in these rooms, and PLEASE do not spray anything directly on room surfaces. We are on a septic system, so only the toilet paper we provide goes into the toilet. Please be aware that our sweet old farmhouse was built in 1850, which means other parts of the house are still awaiting our upgrades and renovations. We are a work in progress, but there is no intrusive renovating going on when guests are visiting. We do not have air conditioning, but our house is insulated and the guest rooms are on the north side of the house, so the room is usually cool except during extended heatwaves, at which point the fans do the trick. We have never had any guest complain of being uncomfortable in this regard. The room has a window fan, and a free standing fan.
We are on an acre, as are our neighbors, and behind us is farmland, a lovely view, and a meandering tractor road which guests are welcome to walk. Across the street: cows!
  • Jeremy and Erica were very kind and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our 2 nights there and will definitely return to their home on our next trip to this beautiful part of NY. The very well behaved pets were a joy - 10 out of 10.

    Yu2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy and Erica are lovely people and made us feel welcome at all times in their beautiful home. Their artistry and warmth shows up everywhere: in the way they have set up their home, in the delicious and nutritious food they prepare and in the way they treated us. And the bed was extremely comfortable! This is a wonderful place to go out of your way to stay at and a really great place to stay for those visiting one of the several colleges/universities in the area. Very highly recommended. We wished we could have stayed longer and can't wait to return.

    Melissa2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Erica and Jeremy are lovely hosts. Their home is warm and inviting, just like they are. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The tranquility of the location was wonderful and just what we were hoping for. I would recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future.

    Marietta2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy and Erica were both communicative and responsive when booking the reservation and arranging arrivals and departures. Their listing was accurate but I found their home and grounds, in person, even more beautiful than the listing. It's a really inviting, eclectic space with a lot of character and a beautiful aesthetic. Tranquil, natural, homey, clean, and rather "zen." Fresh flowers throughout were a nice addition to the space. A nice note welcomed us upon arrival and the highlight of the morning was conversing with Erica (and Jeremy) who sweetly provided breakfast for us before we headed out. (I'm sure if you were more private, they would respect that as well, they were very flexible). Conversation and breakfast were both lovely. Accommodations were excellent- the (2) rooms were spacious and well appointed and the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. Though it was very hot over the weekend, the room stayed cool and they provided a fan, which we ended up not using. Our dog was welcome and enjoyed the stay as well (and didn't interact with their many pets, who were kept in a separate structure on the grounds, which was very considerate). Being so close to the Good Life Farm and Cider Tasting Room was also a plus. I would certainly recommend their home to anyone traveling through the area- or to nearby Ithaca- as I would happily stay here again next time I'm visiting.

    Becca2016-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Erica and Jeremy both made us feel like family! I would highly recommend staying there.

    Shawn2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Erica and Jeremy are fantastic hosts. They are very welcoming, as is their home. The room is wonderfully decorated and very relaxing. The homemade breakfasts are fantastic, and they are very accommodating to food and diet preferences. We would definitely recommend this place.

  • Erica and Jeremy are wonderful hosts! They were very helpful and informative especially with great local places to eat. Their organic breakfasts were superb!

    Susan2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Erica and Jeremy were kind and wonderful hosts who made me feel right at home in their beautiful farmhouse that was full of interesting art work and furniture pieces. I enjoyed chatting with the hosts when I ran into them occasionally, and their pets were sweet and well behaved and appreciated a head scratch. The location was perfect for my weekend trip. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Breakfast was by far the tastiest and most beautifully laid out continental breakfast I have ever tasted. Wonderful stay!

There are three cozy cabins and each cabin is equipped with private bath with shower, queen bed, air conditioner, ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and coffee, linens, towels, hair drier and wifi.
The Spur is located about a mile from Lodi State Park. While The Spur is on a dead end road, it accesses a small lake road that will bring you to the park.
  • Maura was a fantastic host. From the moment we requested to book, she communicated with us promptly. She greeted us with a smile when we arrived and gave us a lot of great local recommendations. The property is beautiful and the cabin comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, the lakefront, the beautiful sunsets, the sound of the waves from the gazebo, the fire and s'mores. Very romantic and lovely place for a weekend gateway.

  • Amazing spot and amazing host. I went upstate for a little break from the city, and it was absolutely perfect. I was very pleasantly surprised by the surrounding area, too. Great breweries and restaurants!

  • Maura was a wonderful host. She provided us with all the information we could possibly need before we left to make our getaway incredibly enjoyable. Her recommendations were excellent. The cabin was very cozy and well maintained. The spaces she had for her guests to use on the property were well thought out with all the comforts of home. the fire rings, seating areas on the shore, dock & deck, the small screened in gazebo, grill & use of her kayaks, made this an exceptional value.

  • Maura was a wonderful host! She truly has a beautiful place. The pictures do not do it justice. The cabins were so cute and immaculate. The cabin had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy after an 11 hour drive. We enjoyed the dock, beautiful water, and paddle boarding during our stay. It's really close to some wonderful vineyards and breweries. We would love to return and stay longer. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

  • My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Spur very much. Maura was extremely nice and helpful in providing recommendations on things in the area. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It is off the beaten path so it was not surprising that it was very quiet and peaceful. I particularly loved the view of the lake and access to the kayaks. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back next summer.

  • We had a great time! Maura was a gracious and friendly host, the cabins were clean and cozy, and the setting was just gorgeous--as other reviewers have said, the pictures don't do it justice. Despite some cloudy weather, we had a wonderful experience--there is so much to do in the area, although we didn't venture too far this time. We will definitely be back!

  • My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Spur. The cabin is in great shape and just the right size. The lake and dock are beautiful - a short walk from the cabin. Maura, our host, was great, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area including wineries, walking/running/hiking, and restaurants. She helped tailor our winery visits based on our wine taste preferences.

Our home is right in the heart of wine country and overlooks Seneca Lake from the east side, so the views are amazing and the sunsets are often filled with spectacular colors. Depending on the weather and day of the week, the atmosphere on this uncongested lake ranges from calm and peaceful to joyful and fun. Our home is fully furnished and features an Arts & Crafts-style living room. There are hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom, slate floors in the hallway, and carpeting in the second and third bedrooms. The master bedroom, living room, and especially the dining room (with its eight windows) all have clear, broad views of the lake/sunsets. The community areas are large too (living room: 17' x 22', kitchen and dining room: 22' x 22'). Up to six people can sleep comfortably in the three bedrooms with one queen, one full-size, and two twin beds. The kitchen is fully stocked and the house has air conditioning. There is enough parking for two or three vehicles. Just outside the house is an intimate yard with a gas grill and a patio set that has cushioned seats. On the lakefront, there's a bonfire ring and a picnic table with an umbrella. • Mary's home was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The views from the large kitchen/dining room windows over the lake were phenomenal. The lakeside area was quiet (although we were there pretty early in the season). The stairs down to the water were sturdy and manageable. Mary's instructions and suggestions for Finger Lakes sight-seeing were great. She had very detailed and specific cleaning instructions with many large fees, perhaps she had troublesome renters in the past. We followed the instructions carefully to avoid the fees. Overall it was a very fantastic and relaxing stay.

    Michael2016-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our time at Seneca at Mary's home on the lake. The accommodations were wonderful and the house was warm and inviting with kitchen and family room with amazing views! Mary was really flexible and it was a great space to bring our pup along. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!

The kitchen is completely stocked with everything imaginable, including quality appliances. We can not wait to come back . Thank you Mary and Mike, our vacation could not have been better!

    Suzana2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mary, Mike and Seneca's house was just as described. A nice, scenic secluded house right on the lake. The place has everything you could want for a perfect stay. Thank you Mary, Mike and of course Seneca!

  • We had a wonderful time at Mike and Mary's spacious home. Their home had all the amenities for a great family weekend: grill, ample kitchen and dining space, cozy living space, and fun filled waterfront. We enjoyed using the kayaks and row boat. We were grateful that they welcomed our dog, who loved exploring yard and waterfront. Mary and Mike were friendly and considerate hosts who respected our privacy. We heartily recommend their home to any family or couple looking for a waterfront retreat.
