Restaurant
“Get a head for heights and enjoy dinner with a view at Liverpool’s sky-high restaurant. This should be your go-to if you’re looking to impress a date. Only problem is, you’re likely to get distracted by the views. Panoramic 34’s killer location on the 34th floor of the West Tower is the perfect match for its impeccable menu.”

Gastropub
“An eclectic multi-purpose arts space (that happens to do a dazzling Sunday roast). One of the city’s buzziest nightlife spots, Camp and Furnace is spread across several repurposed warehouses in the up-and-coming Baltic Triangle district. Its weekday menu includes the likes of homemade falafel, hearty burgers and their best-selling halloumi fries. The wildly popular Camp and Furnace Roast is available every Sunday, featuring a mouth-watering spread of organic meat, golden roast potatoes and the Yorkshire puddings of your dreams.”

Beer Garden
“We simply can’t make a list of the best places for drinking, dancing and being merry in the Merseyside without including the beloved Kasmier beer garden. This effortlessly cool, creative venue is one of Liverpool’s worst kept secrets. Leave the hustle and bustle of the streets, grab a beer and enjoy eclectic live music on the unique split-level staging. Head on over in Summer when the garden parties are in full swing, get festive in the Winter with the twinkling lights and mulled cider, whatever you do, don’t miss it !”

Bar
“Alma de Cuba has always been the city’s most glamourous, stand out venue and a major attraction for visitors and residents alike. Today the bar and restaurant are famed for its extensive Cuban themed cocktail menu and show-stopping weekly entertainment. Every Saturday at 23:00, the petal drop begins, scattering the crowds below in a fabulous floral shower. Then at the stroke of midnight, a floor show unlike any other takes place, as Alma de Cuba’s main stage becomes a platform for Voodoo. Captivating their audience with daring displays of contortionism, dancing and fire breathing, a cast of creepy characters come together to make everyone’s Saturday night out in Liverpool mesmerising.”

“When asked what was the 'Price of Fame'?, John Lennon said "Not being able to have a drink in 'The Phil'." This is 'The Phil'. If you're not famous, 'The Phil' is. It was designed and built to be the most fabulous pub in the world. It is. Well worth a visit.”

“Over the last 20 years, intentionally or not - Heebie Jeebies has become synonymous with the Liverpool nightlife culture - with most people having ended up dancing their hearts out in the basement singing along to Anthems of a misspent youth. Famed for its nooks and crannies, Heebies appeal is not just to that of Liverpool's ever present student community, but to musicians, party goers and those looking for a guaranteed great night. Housed in one of Seel street award winning Georgian buildings, it was originally built as a residence for shipping merchants and has a history almost as rich as Liverpool itself. With the basement initially opening as a Jazz club in the 90's, the evolution of Heebies has saw a huge pool of incredible musicians, DJ's and bands call our venue home and continues to this day to support the underground music scene with a whole host of nights aimed at Original talent.”

“When is a pub a bar, and when is a bar a music venue? Ostensibly all three, the Shipping Forecast has the laid-back feel of a pub (and drinks menu to match) so, despite having hosted nights by the likes of Mark Ronson and Disclosure, that’s why it’s made it on here. Expect a wide array of beers and cocktails, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff in the heart of the RopeWorks neighbourhood.”
