“a gorgeous little town just outside Sanremo, for a really nice day or half day out. The little village was distroyed during the war and was then occupied by a group of artists. It has then become the village of the artists ever since and you can now find many really nice shops selling artistic creations and some lovely restaurants to have lunch or dinner. Coming down from Bussana Vecchia (the old town) I suggest a visit to the church of the new Bussana, in front of the church you can find a really nice bar for aperitivo, good prices and a lot of great food!”

“It is one of the most characteristic forts of the entire defensive walls of Genoa. It was built in 1758 right on the summit of Mount Diamante, about 667 meters high. The dominant position of the Polcevera Valley and the Bisagno Valley and the distance from the city centre made the Fort the first defensive bulwark of the city against the incursions coming from the North.”
