  • Functional apartment, with elevator! This is really a big plus in Paris. Balcony has nice view. The only problems was when I tried to find a taxi around 2 PM, nothing came up in 15 mins, I end up taking metro, which is just a few blocks away. Since I only stayed for 1 night, pretty good experience overall.

  • great studio apartment with excellent views of Paris. Pascal was extremely helpful - good communication from the start, was at the apartment to meet us as agreed, gave us useful guidance and advice about the area. The place could do with a deep clean at some point but not so much of an issue. Would recommend fully

    Richard2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • The location was perfect! The view from the balcony was wonderful. Plenty of space and great kitchen amenities.

    Veronica2016-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • At our request, Pascal's girlfriend (Vanessa) met us earlier than usual check-in time. She was a very friendly, pleasant Host. Pascal followed up with us to confirm that everything was OK & to see if he could do anything more to make our stay pleasant (in my experience, this is unusually thoughtful). The apartment is just as shown in the photos. While small (most Parisian apartments are), it was clean, comfortable, quiet, & has a nice view from the balcony. It has all of the amenities one might need. Very good!!

    Terrence2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place with great views.

    Nick2016-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • From beginning til the end everything went smooth, communication with Pascal, arrival where Vanessa welcomed us, as Pascal as informed by him, where unable due to work. The flat was nice with a magnificent view over Paris and all the equipment needed. So we can only recommend this to any, who wants to visit Paris...

    Bo2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Pascal is a wonderful host. He provided very detailed directions and instructions regarding check in and offered great assistance in helping us plan our day with seeing the sights.

  • A great apartment with stunning views of Paris and the sun setting over the Sacre Coeur !! Really nice quiet location with easy connection to the tourist sites in the centre. However what we loved most was the proximity to A LOT of very good bars bistros and restaurants all within a 10minute walking distance!

  • We LOVED our time here. The flat is, indeed, charming and has all of what you need. Yes, stairs up to the flat, but this is true pretty much everywhere real in Europe. We enjoyed the light from the windows, the amazing music collection (Clara, please share why it is so excellent?!?!), the coffee maker, and the general sense of safety and privacy. Plenty of space for two. Nice to have a separate toilet closet (tiny but what else to you need in there?!). The shower worked well and we really lacked for nothing I can think of. Thank you!!

  • If you want an authentic, Montmartre experience, this flat is your best bet. Just make sure that's what you want, because its off the beaten path and definitely not a Holiday Inn. Clara will treat you right.

    Jonathan2014-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Clara was a lovely host with a fantastic apartment. We really couldn't have asked for a better place. Her having an espresso machine and living right around the corner from an awesome bakery made breakfast easy each morning. Bed was comfy. Her places to go in her AirBNB profile were great choices. She was also just a really sweet person. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Paris.

  • Beautiful appartement in a nice neighbourhood. Fast and friendly communication. Everything went smoothly. We definitely recommend this one! It's perfect.

  • My wife and I stayed in Clara's apartment for a few days for some peace after our wedding at the weekend! After initially getting lost we finally arrived where Louis kindly greeted us! The red ribbon made it easy to identify and once we'd got our bearings realised how perfect the location was. A very quite area within walking distance of the sacre coeur and other sites of Montmartre but without being in the hustle and bustle of the tourists. On our previous trip to Paris we had stayed in Montmartre so I really must encourage everyone to go it is lovely. Clara's apartment has everything you could need, she kindly left a hairdryer, clean towels etc and to top it off had a wonderful music collection which we made use of most evenings. A highly recommended place to say :) Lemmi and Lucy

  • We had a wonderful time in Paris and we were delighted with our accommodation.

    Gerry2014-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • The Apartment is so adorable. We had the feeling that we are staying in flat of friend. The nephew of Clara showed and explained us everything. He was so friendly. It was a perfect Time. The apartment has everything what you need and in the near are lots of great bakerys and restaurants. The Metro isn't far away. Thank you for everything. For our next Paris Trip me and my husband will check if we could stay there again.

  • Great place close to happening part of Paris.

    Matthew2015-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • EXTRAORDINARY! That sums it up. Great hosts with a fabulous studio. Everything was perfect. The cleanliness and quality were first rate. The host were friendly but also very accomodating to our privacy. I will be back!

  • Really enjoyed this cosy studio in the 5th floor of a typical sovereign Paris building. It's well arranged and tasty styled with an excellent eye for all the little things and details. Perfectly equipped kitchen, nice bathroom with shower, all totally nice and clean. Wonderful sunny balcony with blooming and fragrant Jasmin. Great to have a glass of wine while enjoying sundown. Just a bit noisy from traffic and (party) people when sitting on the balcony but that's Paris. No problem when windows/doors closed. Franck & Patrick are great hosts, thanks for the advice re the St. Martin canal area, just around the corner and real beautiful with all the bars, restaurants, shops and the canal itself. Paris at it's best.

    Raik2015-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was just like they said. The 118 steps up to the studio is exhausting, but we did get warned! ;) The apartment was easy to find, about 5 min away from Gare du Nord. Franck met us when we arrived. The studio is in perfect size for a couple on a quick getaway. The neightbourhood is quite multiculturell, primarely indian and asian?

    Inger-Marit2014-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect space to stay for our visit to Paris, conveniently located, charming, tastefully decorated and our neighbours/hosts Patrick and Franck were right next door. From the beginning to the end Patrick and Franck were so welcoming and informative, and responded so quickly to any emails that we sent to them. We were actually coming in on an early flight and they offered to keep our luggage in their apartment, Franck met us in the lobby and helped us carry our bags up to the suite, they had local shopping spots and restaurants printed out in the suite, and they even got directions for us on a couple of places that we wanted to go to. I would definately stay here again and would endorse this property for anyone else wanted to visit the lovely city of Paris.

    Blake2014-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was a dream come true for me. Clean and quiet, and in a wonderful neighborhood. The bedding was more than comfortable and although the windows provided plenty of light, they also had the most wonderful drapes that I hope to find for my own home. The hosts were as sweet as ever, and the studio was one of my favorite stays ever. Do prepare yourself for five flights of stairs, it just means you can eat extra cheese ;-)

    Erika2014-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing apartment! A fifth floor walk up, but definitely worth the effort! Wonderful view, wonderful amenities, wonderful location. Patrick and Franck are very accommodating and their recommendations were very helpful. Less than a five minute walk from the Gare du Nord and the Paris Metro.

This studio facing a garden terrace , cozy, quiet and romantic , is a refuge in the city. It can comfortably accommodate two to three people . Enjoy the nearby state of transportation in full "Campagne à Paris" .
Cozy studio for 2 to 3 people with seating area comprises a comfortable sofa, a kitchen area , a bathroom. This studio has a wonderful view of a beautiful garden terrace. The nearest metro line crosses Paris from east to west through the city center in 15 minutes.
"La Campagne à Paris" is a subdivision of the 20th arrondissement of Paris. It was founded in 1907 by Pastor Sully Lombard as a cooperative to enable suburban access to low-income people. The location of the current block is located on the lands of the former commune of Charonne. During the annexation of Charonne in Paris in 1860, the place was occupied by the gypsum quarry father Roussel. Career was filled with rubble from the Haussmann work avenues of the Republic and Gambetta, on which was formed later a small wood. The land was acquired in 1908 by La Campagne à Paris who built it between 1907 and 1928, 92 pavilions to a working population, officer or employee of a low income. Today these houses have become exceptional properties. Located near the Porte de Bagnolet, between the Boulevard Mortier, the rue du Capitaine Ferber-and Geo Chavez Street, the island of la Campagne à Paris consists of hundreds of small townhouses with one or two floors. This island is made (internal streets) by Paul Strauss street, the rue Irénée Blanc and rue Jules Siegfried plus four "streets" each with a staircase and having received a name in 1994 Mondonville the street, the Georges Perec street, the rue du Père-Prosper-Childish and Camille-Bombois street. The street formerly Montiboeufs "Montiboeufs Trail" was named the 1st of February 1877.
  • Anthony was very easy to work with when I came to meeting up and his response times when we needed to contact him. All the extra amenities that he provided for our lo's (10 month old) stay really helped us out. We loved that there were lots of local options to buy food at and we felt very safe with where in Paris we were staying and the security of the home. We would definitely recommend! It is o. The farther outskirts of Paris which makes in slightly more difficult to get to if you have a lot of luggage. But on the flip side, you always get a seat on the metro bc you are one of the first stops. Metro was about 30-35 minutes to the louvre but easy to walk to.

    Nicole2017-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Our host greeted us at the door and showed us around the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet during the night - during the day there was noisy construction nearby but we were mostly out sightseeing during the day. At night the hot tub made a tapping noise outside our window which took a bit of getting used to so that we could finally succumb to sleep. One evening returning late from the metro stop we were verbally accosted by a gemtleman on the street. We kept walking and he eventually left us alone. As in all areas of Paris one needs to be watchful. We felt safe most of the time.

    Pat2016-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Anthony's place is a great find - perfect location for a few days exploring the city. It is close to public transport the metro and the 69 bus [a great line for getting to all the tourist sites]. Anthony is a great host - the apartment is ideal for one or two persons - and since Anthony and his family live in the same building, there is always someone to give advice. I hope we have an opportunity to revisit Anthony's place.

    John2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Anthony was an excellent host. Gave clear instructions about the place, parking etc, and has been prompt in answering all sorts of questions

    Jojo2016-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Anthony's place had all features that we looked for. It is safe, clean, huge and comfortable. Although the location was in 20th arr, this place was not far from bus stop/metro station. Anthony was such a nice guy that he allowed us to drop luggage before we checked in. He also responded very quickly.

    Poompong2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Place was great! Walking distance to the metro and really cosy! Could get a little cold at times though, but other than that, a great place to stay at!(:

    Russell2017-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment! American sized beautiful bathroom and all the amenities of a 4 star hotel! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Anthony!

  • Christian's place was very clean and comfortable; a charming studio apartment. Location is not very central but it is only a 5 minute walk to the metro and fairly easy to navigate your way around the city from there. Christian couldn't be there to help us check in but he left us very detailed instructions for how to get to the apartment and into the building. One of the easiest Airbnb check ins I've ever had.

    Alexia2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • We haven't seen Christian but it wasn't that bad. Everything was compact and very organized. The apartment was very central, lovely and cozy. There was enough space for three people. We really felt like home! We had an awesome time in Paris. Thanks again Christian! ;)

  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Christian's cute studio for a long weekend. We arrived very late due to our flights schedule and Christian was so kind to meet us at night to show the studio. And it was really nice of him to send us a detailed presentation about the studio and it's location! It's really great! We followed it and spent 2 sunny mornings in Bichon bakery. :) We also found all necessary stuff in the studio. So it's fully equipped, nice and enjoyable! If you go go Paris we strongly recommend to stay in this studio!!!

  • Nice little apartment for our 5 day stay in Paris. Felt very safe in the apartment and it was close walking distance to La Chapelle metro that also has an underground link to Gare du Nord so made it easy to get to and from airport.

  • The apartment is great and had everything we needed. It was clean, great wifi and confortable beds. There a lot of usefull information in the apartement like books and metro maps of Paris. The area around the apartment is not nice so we just walked from the metro to the apartment. But the price was great and so the apartment. We didnt meet Christian but his instructions were clear which made everything easy.

  • I throughly enjoyed my stay at this studio! The location could not have been better for me (less than 10 minute walk from the Eurostar train station- Gard du Nord). The studio is modern and very well kept/clean. Christian was very responsive to emails and provided books, pamphlets, and info on various Paris activities in the studio. I definitely plan on staying here again!

  • Hilal is a devoted host? He recommended for us what to visit and see in Paris. Explain how to use the facilities in the Apt. Took the time to show us the shops and restaurants near by. The Apt is in ground floor clean and well equipped. The building is secured and newly renovated. Hilal and Malika lives us stares always ready to help. Metro is 5 min away. Very nice park close by for an early walk or meditation class with the local :)

  • My sister and I stayed here for 4 days in February and it couldn't have been more perfect!!!! The apartment is a lot more spacious than it look in the photos and it was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Although getting the key out of the lock is a little hard. It is also a 2 minute walk to the metro which is really handy! Hilal was amazing and was on hand whenever We needed directions or help! The shower is powerful and after a day of walking around Paris, it's exactly what you need! Could not fault Hilal and Malika at all, thank you again.

  • Georges was a gracious host! He left jams, jellies, drinks, coffee, tea and wine at check-in, had local restaurant recommendations, and was incredibly accommodating. The flat is literally a 2 minute walk from the Chateau Landon metro stop on line 7 (maybe 10-15 minutes total to central Paris), and a 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord. I felt safe; the neighborhood was quiet and the flat secure behind an entry gate (which opens up to a lovely courtyard), a building door, and the lock to the apartment. As is typical of any European apartment, don't expect tons of space. The flat is well thought-out and clean, but definitely only for 1-2 people, max.

  • Georges and his studio are absolutely wonderful. I can't recommend them highly enough. When we arrived in Paris, Georges greeted us, gave us the keys, and gave us recommendations on places to see and eat nearby. The apartment is very cozy, comes equipped with a Nespresso machine, tea kettle, hairdryer and iron, and boasts a great location. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much, Georges!

  • Very nice studio, great host and location! Coffee maschine and a croissant from the host in the morning made me feel even more welcome! Highly recommended!!!

  • We are very happy for having chosen Georges´ apartment for our stay. We had a really nice time in Paris and an important factor for that was this beautiful apartment. The location is great, really close to the metro station and in a beautiful neighborhood. The apartment is really charming, cozy and tidy and has everything needed to have a comfortable stay. Georges is a very nice and warm host and gave us really good tips for our stay, such as nice restaurants nearby and in the city center. He also surprised us by leaving us some croissants and pain au chocolat for breakfast the first morning. Totally recommendable!

  • I recently stayed here with my mom and we absolutely loved this charming, cozy studio. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The pictures and location are very accurate. The metro is like a minute walk and very close to Gard Du Nord. After a long day of sightseeing we looked forward to coming back to this place. In fact, we are at another airbnb place in Italy and we keep wishing this place was more like Georges' and miss it very much. Georges is also a very kind and generous host. He provided delicious croissants our 1st morning and left drinks in our fridge. He was also very accommodating to our needs. Couldn't have asked for better experience!! If I come back I would book this place in a heartbeat. Thank you Georges!

(5th guest can sleep in own bed in Living room) - The apartment has been recently renovated. - Top of the line brand new kitchen and bathroom (New/spacious/American Rain Shower). - Elevator The apartment is walking distance from Sacre Coeur. Great neighborhood. Near transportation -- Easy access to the whole city. !!!!! Read the reviews !!!!!!!! FIRST REVIEW: « By far the best place we stayed ever at, in Paris. We go there at least twice a year on business, and have stayed in various hotels and apartments. This apartment fits the description in every aspect and it was a pleasure to deal with the owner. The place is spacious, clean, has any amenity you could wish for and perfect location. We were very comfortable there and would love to stay there again, next time. Thank you Jean Michel! » -- YELENA K from NEW YORK. LOCATION: The apartment is just a few hundred feet downhill from one of Paris' breathtaking monuments: the SACRE COEUR and its great view on Paris. The walk to Sacre Coeur is charming as you make your way up hill via stairs and quiet cobble stone streets. Our part of Montmarte is a rich mix of ethnic and young Parisians, Prim old ladies, jocular bistro owners, young artists - everyone knows everyone in our neighborhood, and unlike in Paris’s chillier, more bourgeois neighborhoods, here we say “hello.” We're in a perfect place to go and explore Paris from. - Next to Buses and Subway lines. - If you are coming from or heading to London, Brussel or Amsterdam, the apartment is not far from Gare du Nord MORE REVIEWS : « Perfect, a beautiful, spacious and elegant apartment. Every detail is lovely. Both Jean-Michel and Martine are thoughtful, generous hosts whose recommendations and advice were fantastic. Montmartre is rich with diversity and without exception the people were friendly and helpful. I would love to return to this wonderful place, thank you so much." --SALLY A from Mt Macedon, AUSTRALIA « I highly recommend this lovely flat. We had a wonderful experience here. It is very light, with very high ceilings, and quite roomy. It is spare and uncluttered, but well-appointed. Everything was extremely clean and fresh. There was plenty of bedding and towels. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The neighborhood was great, and easy to get to and to get around the city. The host, Martine, was fantastic--friendly, helpful and full of great information. Jean-Michel provided a very helpful package with info on getting to the neighborhood & flat, places in the area, etc. We'll definitely come back. » --KATINKA B from Sebastopol, CALIFORNIA « Jean-michel is not lying when he says his apartment is big and beautiful! Compared to other Parisian apartments, which are notoriously tiny, this one is a palace in size, light and airy and very good value. We LOVED the area. It's one thing to be in walking distance to Sacre Coeur and Pigalle, but it's even better when you can also feel a part of a small neighborhood even for a few days; excellent fresh produce just across the street, the sweetest friendly barista who tries so hard to help you understand French, the excellent food, wine and staff at Cheri Bibi and other close by bars, a passionately delicious fromagerie, artisan boulangeries in morning-stroll distance. We also loved the less traveled back streets which take you up and down and around the back of Sacre Coeur and the street energy around the Metro stations very close by. We had a great stay and highly recommend this apartment! » -- CAMERON B from Melbourne, AUSTRALIA « Our family of 4 stayed in this gem in the 18ieme and found it to be ideal. Big , as advertised, modern , clean , quiet, lovely decor. Un "tres bon accueil" .Merci!! We hope to return!! » -- L JOHNSTON from Toronto, CANADA
DESCRIPTION OF MY NEIGHBORHOOD : Most visitors and residents of Paris are familiar with the famous Butte de Montmartre, and its wedding-cake Basilique Sacré-Coeur. After Amélie and Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge, even people who have never been there before recognize the Place des Abbesses and the neon windmill at Place Clichy. But that’s only half the story of this unique Parisian village. Look past the Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge for a Montmartre off the beaten tourist path. Village Ramey next to Abbesses is where resident Parisians eat and shop – and live - without a postcard stand, tour bus, or portrait artist in sight! Just a few hundred feet downhill from Sacre Coeur and from the overly trendy Abbesses, in the Village Ramey quartier, a more authentic kind of charm is still alive. the small streets winding down the hill are calm and seem to feel a world away. Sure, its cobblestoned streets are being slicked up by trendy boutiques (gentrification is really kicking in turning Village Ramey into the new Abbesses), but the surrounding lanes are still lined with vegetable stands and open-air cafés.
  • Wonderful apartment. We were welcomed very warm and equipped with good tips for Paris from our host. The apartment offers you everything you need and was very quiet. We were all very excited about the apartment. The location is great, close to the Gare du Nord and right on Montmatre. A supermarket and the bakery just around the corner. We had a good time in Paris.

  • Flat was very well equipped with special french charisma Sacre cour over the corner, with many small bars and restaurants and shops nearby but street as such was very quite.

  • We were two couples and a toddler staying 8 days and found the apartment great. What a beautiful and authentic way to experience Paris. The apartment is gorgeous and Martine who greeted was very helpful. The building has a small elevator (super small) but was helpful with a lot of luggage and you can get it up with several trips.  The lounge room is spacious and inviting. The floor boards are very loud and creeky in this area, but sleep is easy as the bedrooms are at the back of the home. The wifi was fantastic and there is also a wifi phone that makes free calls to fixed lines worldwide - amazing! It's only 5 minutes walk to the metro and 2 mins to the bus stop.  Super super handy was the washing machine which helped us to wash our clothes every few days to feel clean and fresh after walking around and catching public transport 24/7 for 9 days.  The kitchen is lovely, but beware it has sharp edges (one of us cut our toe open quite badly). There is a microwave (super handy for baby bottles/reheating food etc)  If you're wanting to cook, note that there is not a big range of knives and that they are not super sharp - except the bread knife - :) which is good because Paris = bread! Great host touches and why we would recommend this apartment: Jean Michael is very fast in responding, sincere and helpful.  A friendly face on arrival - Martine :) Thankyou! Maps and info provided by Martine and via Jean Michael on airbnb.  The extra touches - Ice in the freezer! A big fridge and spices to cook with.  The neighbourhood is a buzz 24/7 which is great. Note that Paris metros are not very baby friendly....stairs mostly, not many elevators, so a lot of packing down the pram/taking wheels off, or carrying the baby in the pram up and down stairs.  Things we ran out of: toilet paper, but the supermarket is over the road - no biggie to replace!

  • We were two adult couples exploring Paris for a week. We all liked the apartment very much. The included WiFi was very much appreciated. We even had a medical issue that required using the land line, which also was much appreciated. Although this is not a complaint, the "1.5 bathrooms" is really a very nicely appointed shower and wash room with no toilet, and a separate w/c just a few steps away. We enjoyed Martine's company. We will be sure to check this apartment's availability for our next visit.

  • Outstanding apartment. We (me and my 4 four friends) shared this apartment (around the corner from the Sacre Couer) over a 4 days weekend and were more than happy with the facilities and the apartment itself. Very warm, plenty of bedding, a fantastic bathroom and kitchen, with wifi and all the conveniences you would need. Very close the the metro. Jean Michel's host: Martine was very welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to a family or a group of friends as its beautiful and very good value.

  • Phantastic location to disover Paris besides the touristic hotspots. A big appartement wich make you able to make breakfast and some lunch. Really good restaurants and bars closse to to the appartment. Last but not least thanks to Martine for the very warm welcome and helpfull Informations and Jean Michel to let us use his rooms. We will come back.

Charming small apartment A real romantic nest for couple in journey or students. One 2 rooms(parts, plays) on very quiet court(yard), bright, close to Montmartre and with these typical restaurants, these storekeepers with closenesses... Welcome
I rent my lovely and quiet apartment next to Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. The building is secured with code and digital lock. The apartment measures 37m2 and is located on the 5th floor, without elevator. It is composed of a large bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed (for two persons) in the lounge. A flat screen TV (cable and Canal +), a computer with internet, tv in the lounge and hi-fi system. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric hob, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and all utensils. A washing machine is also available. Bathroom & toilet. Sheets and towers are provided. Internet wifi available. The apartment is located 2 minutes away from Chateau Rouge metro line 4 : you are just a few stops from Chatelet, Saint Michel and Saint Germain des Prés and 2 stations from GARE DU NORD (Eurostar"s arrival station) Other metros nearby: Lamarck Caulaincourt, Jules Joffrin, Marcadet Poissonières line 12 + Bus line 31, 56, 80. 85. Pigalle Montmartrobus up through the Sacred Heart (until Pigalle threw the Sacred Heart). Very good restaurants and shopping nearby : ask me for my good adresses !
Montmartre is a Parisian typical district with bars, restaurants highly varied, creators' shops but especially businesses of mouth of very high qualities (delicatessens, butchers, fruits and vegetables, cheese makers, bakeries) as well as of flavors of the other countries to be tasted(savoured). A market nearby for fresh vegetables of fruits come of four corner(place) of the world! You will have in this district of the tastes, flavors, colors as if you had gone round the world;-) A last great journey at the bottom of the house..
  • Alice was a very kind and detailed host. She received us with great breakfast material, maps and clear instructions for the apartment. Her place is in Montmartre, which is a Paris must see, but it is a bit far from everything else. However, Paris is well connected by public transport and being a bit far allows you to afford a place which is a bit bigger, always a plus in Paris, so I would choose it again every time.

    Facundo2016-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Alice, your place was wonderful. Apartment was clean and bright and wonderfully decorate. It was great to utilize the Nescafe machine and the bed was oh so comfortable. Merci

  • Had a nice stay - thank you Alice!

  • Alice was very, very accommodating and really thorough with directions and the house rules. The flat was handed over in pristine condition. Centrally located in Montmarte and only a 5 minute walk to sacre coeur, the flat was in a very fun and convenient location. Line 4 is down the street, which makes the area all the more convenient. I'd recommend Alice's flat to anyone looking to get a proper sense of Paris. Thanks, again Alice!

    Albert2016-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay for a short trip to Paris. Very well connected with a kind and communicative host. Perfect to explore Montmartre by foot.

    Kathryn2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • The flat was very nice, the metro station right outside was under construction the entirety of our trip but there were two others within a 5 minute walk. There was also a market on the way back from one of the stations that was great for getting snacks to have as well as breakfast stuff. Alice made check in very easy and gave wonderful directions/instructions on how to get into the flat. The only thing we found odd was the bathroom door which didn't give anyone much privacy (you could see into the bathroom from the couch). The neighborhood was also a little dirty and seemed somewhat uncomfortable at night. We didn't have any issues during our stay and had a wonderful time. The main streets of the city are easily accessible by the metro but not within walking distance. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the flat was a wonderful place to relax in after a long day. (And the bed was super comfortable, it was like memory foam or something)

    Ryann2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place, we loved it!

    Andrey2014-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Alice's flat was an absolute pleasure! Alice is an amazing hostess and she did a great job of giving us directions to some of the sights, answering our questions about the city, and she even offered some delicious restaurant recommendations. The flat is conveniently located near the Metro, several cafés, and a large grocery store. Her flat was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. Staying with her flat was a great experience and I would gladly do it again the next time I'm in the city.

Queen size bed for 2 IN A SHARED ROOM. Airbnb map is wrong ! In the quiet and peaceful suburbs, in Deuil-la-Barre city. *10/15mn by train from Paris Center. *10mn train ride to Saint-Denis Station (Close to Stade de France). Breakfast included.
The flat is located in a nice city just outside Paris, called Deuil-la-Barre (it only takes 10mins by train to get to the center of Paris, in Gare du Nord station). *The station near my place (5mn on foot) : Deuil-Montmagny. *My address : rue Charles de Gaulle, 95170 Deuil-la-Barre. **5/10minutes train ride to Saint-Denis station (close Stade de France) ************ I'm a 27 year old girl living in the flat, and renting the second floor for tourists :) I speak french and english, and I'm easy to get along with, I'll help you as much as I can. I have two cats, they are nice and cuddly, so don't be allergic. I rent a queen size bed in an open space on the second floor of my apartment. IT'S A SHARED ROOM (max. 4 people, including you). There's no door. In the same room, there are two other single beds that I also rent in another listing. There might be people sleeping there too. You have a small safe box with key you can use. I rent another room for 2 on the same floor, so if it's rented, people will have to go through your room to go downstairs. It's an apartment on 2 floors (duplex / approx. 100m² / 1000 sqft) . --- on the 1st floor : - entrance - big room with the kitchen and the dining room (oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, hotplates, kettle, toaster, etc) and the living room with a couch and the tv. - my own bedroom - the bathroom (shower, 2 sinks, washing machine, dryer, steam iron, hairdryer) - toilet --- on the 2nd floor : - your room/open space/mezzanine - another private bedroom that I rent for 2 guests. Check in : after 13pm, but you can arrive sooner and leave your stuff/hang out in the flat, but I can't guarantee that the room will be ready if there was another guest renting the room the night before. Check out : You have to clear the room before 12am, but you can still leave your stuff/hang out in the flat after. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. :)
The apartment is in the suburbs of Paris, in a little building in the historical center of Deuil-la-Barre, next to the church and city hall. I only have two neighbors, my apartment is on the 2nd floor. ***In my city : skating center, indoor ice rink facility, sports complex, tennis club. See photos. (15 or 20 mins from my place on foot) There's a garage in front of my place. It's only open during the day and it doesn't make noises, but just thought you should know just in case.

  • Cindy´s place is a great choice for staying. There is a good connection to Paris city centre, at the same time it is quiet place away from traffic, night clubs and stuff like that. The apartment is cozy, clean and equiped by everything needed. Cindy is very friendly, helpful and prepared for the guests. Best airbnb. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

  • We had a really nice stay. You should like cats though cause they also stay upstairs where u are going to sleep. The neighborhood is friendly and quite. Everything is close by. Only 15 mins to Paris by train. We had enough storage for our stuff. We felt really welcomed and Cindy was a nice host. I can only recommend her apartment.

    Lina2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • It place is about 15 mins away from Gare du Nord. Location was fairly good. The house was clean and Cindy was really helpful, she tells us many useful information about transportation and things around the neighborhood. The price was reasonable and everyone should consider to stay there if you are going to Paris.

  • Cindy was welcoming and had a really cute place! We were not the best at the rail system, but she helped us try to figure it out. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

    Marissa2016-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy is a dynamite host! All the reviews of her helpfulness and sweet nature are true. You have to take a train into Paris which gets you straight into the city at Gare du Nord from there you can go pretty much anywhere by metro. Thanks Cindy for the few weeks of staying with you!

    Tee2016-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We didn't get too much of a chance to meet Cindy as she was away for the weekend, but Jennifer was great :) The place is not in Paris and travel was a little more expensive than anticipated because of zoning, but it was really easy to access by the trains. The apartment was small, but they were open to share the utilities and provided breakfast and snacks. There is a kitchen as well as a supermarket nearby so food getting food was really cheap and easy. Because the room is divided by only a curtain, if there are others staying in the other beds it's not particularly private, but if you're open to meeting new people, it's a really cool experience. We were only there for a short time but definitley felt like we were "coming home" after a long day of walking around Paris

This is a charming sunny duplex just near a park. There is a wonderful view of Paris. 4th floor no lift. Atypical inside volume, chalet style, about 40 square meters. The flat opens onto a living-room with a couch that changes into a double bed, and there is a staircase with an open bedroom up on the mezzanine just under the roof, with a low ceiling where the double bed just fits, but giving a cosy feeling. Fully equipped tiny kitchen with a window looking south. The bathroom is comfortable with a shower. There's internet connections and internet Tv. It's located in an old lively area of the hill near metro Pyrennees, Couronnes, Belleville. The restaurant nearby provides average food but a terrific atmosphere in the musette style where every customer has to sing. The boulangerie at the doorstep has very good bread and the Belleville garden is a great -reminder of Paris in the last century. It's truly parisian, popular and not touristy area.
  • Let me start and say the flat is very good sized and very clean! The host is l friendly, quick to reply and helpful. The neighborhood is so lively with a great view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Also there are tons of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and fresh fruit stands close by. If you’re looking to witness an authentic, domestic side of Paris, this neighborhood is perfect.

  • The apartment was very welcoming and clean. Andrew was very nice and provided us with everything we needed. There's a small bakery across the street and a restaurant beside the building, but it's close to several streets filled with other places to eat if you want. There's also a nice area that overlooks the park and you can see the Eiffel Tower from that viewpoint. It's about a ten min walk to the metro station, and there are tour guides and adapters at the apartment. It housed six of us very comfortably! The speaker system is also amazing. Thank you very much, Andrei!

    Cecilia2015-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • My second time at this flat. It's in a calm area without any other tourists, and between that and the fact that I've been here twice, I can barely recommend it more. I hope to be back here again.

  • Andrei was a wonderful host. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The neighborhood is lively and the park has a great view of the Eiffel Tower. You must go for dinner at the Vieux Belleville across the street for great food and music. Thank you Andrei.

    Tim2015-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Andrei's apartment is very clean and in a great location - right next to parc Belleville with a distant view of la Tour Eiffel. A trendy 2 bedroom apartment right across the street from a Boulagerie and Bistrot that allows you to have fresh pastries in the morning or a drink in the evening! I highly recommend Andrei's place - we loved it!

  • It is great and lovely house~ I felt a real Paris life and romatic and artistic Montmartre area, and definitely this house fully supported that. Gorgeous and neat interior could make me felt owner's interior sense. Thomas answered all the questions urgently and kindly. He guided everything for the house facility and prepared all the convenient stuff including towel, baths, kichen stuffs and so on. Also, music system in this house is awesome. If you want to feel dolby surround system after city tour to relax, just choose this house. You will not regret that.

  • My partner and I stayed at Thomas' apartment for two nights and we had a wonderful experience. Thomas was excellent at communication and offered us all the help we needed. The flat is charming, clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place! Thank you Thomas for a wonderful stay in Paris! Merci!

  • Fantastic host and fantastic space. We slept three very comfortably, enjoyed the piano and the record player, and cooked some meals in the decently-equipped kitchen. The neighborhood is wonderful and affordable, a short walk from Sacre Coeur. I can highly recommend it! -Melanie

  • Thank you Thomas for our stay in your charming apartment. We loved it and will return very easily. Perfect for our visit to Paris. xx

  • Wonderful stay! Thomas was a great host. The cleaning gal was there to let us in and she showed us where everything was. Although she stayed for an additional two hours (previous renters were leaving when we got there), we didn't mind given we were ready to start our day. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was good. Everything was just as it was presented on AirBnB.

    Tess2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • From our first email contact with Thomas he was friendly and welcoming. When we arrived in Paris we were greeted by Thomas's friend Pascaline, who was waiting patiently for us as we were late getting from the airport - thank you Pascaline:)! Thomas's apartment is cosy and comfortable, and although compact, had everything we needed for a great stay in this extraordinary city. There was plenty of hot water in the shower, and the bed was very comfortable and roomy. Even though we both had a few days resting at home due to catching colds, we never felt cramped in the apartment during our four week stay. Thomas has a great collection of music, books and films, and his apartment has a lot of character. Every window has a great view over the rooftops too! We also enjoyed living in Montmartre, and felt we were really experiencing local life. The tourist spots are very close, but you can also escape all that and hang out with the Parisians. The apartment is close to everything you could possibly need, including the metro. A memorable stay, so thank you Thomas!

  • Lovely apartment in a lovely area. I have absolutley no complaints. It was like an extra home, two floors, two fireplaces, lots of good music on vinyl and a great soundsystem. I would love to stay here again. Easy acess from the airport and close to several metrostations.

  • Wow what an experience. I felt like a uni student in Paris. Apartment is quite a size given Paris standards, very close to metro, walking distance to the arty district of Paris. Loved the bakery at the end of the street, became our local! Supermarket close by too, so u get the real experience of living in Paris. Thomas' friend Pasqueline met us and she was just lovely. Be warned lots of stairs to climb, but hey yr in Paris, and it wasn't a bother for us.

A lovely old-fashioned Parisian "Louis XVI" bedroom with breakfast included (Bed & Breakfast). On the 24th floor of a Parisian tower block, from which you can enjoy amazing views over Paris from the balcony and the bedroom.  You can easily and quickly get to the center of Paris.
At your disposal is a beautiful old-fashioned Louis XVI bedroom, with breakfast included. The shared bathroom is spacious and has a bathtub. The apartment is on the 24th floor of a Parisian tower block. There are 2 lifts. Because of its southern exposure, it is very bright.  The flowery loggia offers stunning views of Paris. Breakfast will be served there: fruit, dairy products, coffee, tea and pastries. It is possible to wash and dry clothes (ask about conditions when checking in). For transport, the apartment is ideally located:  Metro station "Crimée" (Line 7) and Bus 60, 54 or N42 (night bus). This line easily serves famous tourist spots such as the Opéra, the Louvre museum, Cité des Sciences, Le Marais and Gare de l'Est. Montmartre (Sacré Coeur) is very close; just 15 minutes away (metro line 7 and 2 or bus 54, 60 and N42).  You prefer cycling? A "Velib" station awaits you nearby. The pool in the bottom of the building allows you to relax and keep fit. Cultural Center "104" is close to the apartment. The "Bassin de la Villette" is very close too, and is very lively. Here you can play games, have a picnic on the waterfront, or stroll along the Canal Saint Martin. The "Cité des Sciences" and the "Cité de la Musique" are 2 metro stations from the apartment, or 10 minutes by foot. Montmartre is 15 minutes away and the "Buttes Chaumont" Park is 10 minutes by foot. A wide variety of neighborhood shops and restaurants will welcome you.  Secure Parking may be available (15 eur / day).
Montmartre, Sacré Coeur (15 minutes), Canal de l'Ourcq, Bassin de la Villette, Buttes Chaumont Park, La Villette Park, La Villette Philharmonic Opera, Sciences Center, Music Museum, Art Center "Le 104", Canal Saint Martin, ...  are my favorite places for walking or cycling.
  • Antoine's place was lovely. Just as pictured. An amazing view. Comfortable bed. Chocolate croissants for breakfast. Ooh la la! And Antoine himself was a gem. Very gracious and helpful with all my questions as a newbie in Paris. Very watm and genuine. The neighborhood is a real local, non-touristy place. The Metro is half a block away - to get you anywhere you want to go in Paris. This was appreciated since it was the first part of my ten days in Paris and I quickly learned how to get around. Antoine gave me maps and printouts for some unique activities - like the "galeries" (arcades) of Paris and also excellent French restaurant recommendations. Next time I visit, I'll stay longer!

    Sophie2015-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • You could not ask for more! Antoine and Bruno were amazing hosts! The best. They were welcoming, friendly, helpful, warm and caring. Nothing was too much for them. The apartment was beautiful, clean, had beautiful views and very comfortable. Location was great. There was lots to do in walking distance. And the apartment is right near metro station which is a line that brings you pretty much everywhere. Will be staying again when back in Paris!! Thank you Antoine and Bruno!!!

  • Absolutely loved our stay with Antoine and Bruno! They are very welcoming and gracious hosts. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We loved having breakfast every morning too! Antoine is very knowledgeable about Paris and his advice about where to eat and places to see made our time there extra special. We would definitely recommend this listing to everyone, and would love to return one day. X

  • Antoine and Bruno were fantastic hosts in Paris. Bruno was often especially kind to prepare coffee and biscuits for us in the evening and would provide us tips on travel especially during the busy Euro tournament.

    Karthik2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Antoine and Bruno were very welcoming. We were offered cups of tea and coffee with divine biscuits. We had a good size room (for Paris) furnished with antiques and paintings and a superb view over the city from the 24th floor. Lovely linens and everything spotlessly clean. Antoine has print-outs for guests of recommended restaurants and was most helpful with our questions about transport, distances etc. The breakfast was plentiful, fruits, cereal, juice, tea/coffee, fresh croissants and bread. Home made jam too. We had keys, directions and assurances that nothing was too much trouble. A very wonderful experience of Airbnb

    Jennifer2015-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome weekend in Paris and it was even better due to Antoine's hospitality! Everything was great, we had a delicious french breakfast, we got the best advice on where to do sightseeing, eat and go out to enjoy Parisian nightlife. We felt very well taken care of up to the point that Antoine made sure and helped me even catch my flight back home, but that's another story :) Everything was super clean and comfortable, me and my friend can truly recommend staying at this beautiful appartment with the warmest hosts ever!

  • Chafia left chocolates for our kids which was terribly sweet after a long bus ride from the city. Despite originally stating that towels were not provided as we were only there for 1 night, she still let us borrow some when we arrived without them. The apartment is very near bus stops to and from central Paris but divided by a flight of stairs without a ramp which was a bit difficult for us with a tandem stroller. Also, there are no lifts to the flat but it was not a worry as we could leave our stroller downstairs (bring a lock or park at your own risk!). In all, it was a pleasant stay.

  • Great clean appartment in a nice neighborhood, there's a supermarket nearby and restaurants. The owner of the appartment was very kind and we had a great communication. If I go to Paris another time I will book it again.

  • This is a brilliant place to stay a great location and plenty of room, chafia is a brilliant host and made us very welcome and was very informaqtive showing us the best bakery and shops, I would highly recommend this lovely apartment in a really great neighbourhood very safe and quiet and easy to get around on either the metro or buses

    Bron2011-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect: The bathroom and the kitchen were very clean and we slept very comfortable. Chafia was very friendly and really charming. At our arrival she brought us baguette and icecream. In the fridge were cheese and milk for us. In the neighbourhood we found a delicious bakery, where we get our baguette and croissants every morning. It was the perfect starting point for our sightseeingtours through Paris. We can recommend this nice place to everyone, who wants to live some days in Paris.

    Annette2012-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Chafia's apartment was exactly as described. It was clean, well-appointed. She also left us with some great tips on local restaurants, which was much appreciated.

    Will2013-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Never met Chafia, but her communication was great. She was very accommodating. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Described accurately. Location residential.

    David2017-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a great location to travel around part is. Take bus 69 and it stops at all the sights. A great suggestion is to to purchase bus/train tickets in a sets of 10 instead of an all day pass.

    Ross2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Studio was just perfect. Chafia was such an amazing and wonderful lady, she never was late answering any inquiries. We arrived late at night but she managed to leave us the keys. The studio was so clean and tidy, you don't need to bring anything with you. There were some clean towels and shower stuff like shampoo, hair conditioner, etc. For the kitchen, you can find a coffee machine, microwave, toaster, even coffee packets and other hot drink packets. Chafia also welcomed us with 2 bottle of bears and a bottle of wine, she can't be more kind. It's near bus & metro station. Enjoy your stay at Chafia's studio and I definitely recommend it.

  • It was a perfect stay in Paris-great appartement!

    Andrea2015-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Frederic was a great host. The apartment is exactly like it is described and photographed. There is plenty of light. the design is modern and efficient. The apartment is located between two metro stops on the 11 line. Taxis are abundant and there appears to always be an Uber car within 3 or 4 minutes away. We got lost coming from the airport. Frederic rearranged his schedule and waited for us. He showed us around the apartment, answered questions about a gym, getting a French sim card for my IPhone, and the metro. He made sure there was food and some other items in the refrigerator for us. Sadly, we were in Paris during the November 13th attack. Frederick checked in on us to make sure we were safe even though some of his friends were still not accounted for. We would definitely recommend Frederic's place to other travelers to Paris.

  • We had a great time at Frederic's apartment. It was very clean and spacious. The location was super for getting into central Paris and there were plenty of shops/patisserie's/good restaurants around the local area. The apartment had a really good shower and bed and Frederic had ample storage space available for us to use.

    Harry2015-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • From the first message Frederic we know that everything will be perfect. Perfectly written plan of directions to the apartment where you can't get lost. Location at the metro station gives comfort navigate the whole of Paris. On place Frederic greeted us and we saw a beautiful apartment, clean, design furnished where you can see the attention to every detail of the owner. We spent five days, each time I came back to the apartment we could fully relax in this cute place. Highly recommended and even encourage you to stop in your Frederic. We definitely will go back!

    Maryann2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Appartement was very clean and lovely. It's exactly how described and has everything that you need for your stay. The communication with Julie was perfect and we had an easy check-in. It's in the east of Paris, close to the train station. We discovered Paris by bike and it only takes 25 minutes to go to the center and all the important monuments which was great. The only thing to recommend is to put curtains

    Sandra2017-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time staying in an Airbnb. Julie made the whole process amazingly easy! The apartment was only a few blocks from train and metro stations. The quiet street and proximity to a number of good restaurants made for a great stay. The only downside is that you have to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Regardless, we would recommend this apartment to anyone!

    Jake2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was very well suited for my needs! Be aware if you have large luggage or are particularly unfit, the stairs may be a challenge. In the summer months, the apartment does get warm, but the windows let in a nice breeze. The canal is beautiful to walk along and very close! Access to the trains and metro couldn't be better.

  • We were welcomed by Eric's American friend, Jeff. He was very helpful and response to our query promptly. The bed was cozy and We love the massage cushion. The house was accessible easily by public transport and it was a great place to stay.

  • The flat was colorful and super comfortable. We had a wonderful stay in Paris.  Eric had checked our arriving time and gave us detail of direction before we took off. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Jeff. The location was great. There was everything we needed. Even exceeded our expectation. We bought tasty baguette from nearby baker store, had relax breakfast, take metro to visit Paris easily, and took a walk to Montmartre to see the beautiful sparkling city sight.    I will definitely stay again when I visit Paris next time.

  • We stayed at Eric's place for 3 nights with our 3 months old, and we are just dying to go back! The flat in Montmartre is just so pretty, artsy and had everything we needed! (like really! Even blister pads!!). We never had the chance to meet Eric but through emails, he was always so helpful, providing any information we needed, at anytime. His friend Jeff welcomed us with open arms and great tips to navigate the city. As for the location it was perfect for us with subway line at walking distance. • Eric's place is awesome ! It has everything you need. It's very clean, friendly neighbourhood, very safe to walk at night. Only 5 minutes walk to Sacre'-coeur, lots of shop, restaurant, supermarket around the apartment, very close to the metro. We stay 5 nights and very enjoy the apartment, we definitely coming back. We didn't meet Eric, and Jeff is so nice and very helpful, he shows us how to make the phone call, where to eat, where to shop, how to take metro......Thank you very much Eric & Jeff !

  • I had a enjoyable stay at this conveniently located apartment. All the nearby restaurants, shops and metro stations are only a short walk away. The apartment itself is well kitted out with all the essentials, including freezer, fridge, and washing machine. Furthermore, it is clean and has been generally well maintained. Arrangements for checking-into and checking-out of the apartment were arranged in a timely and efficient manner by Eric. Even when alternative arrangements had to be made, these caused minimal disruption to what had originally been agreed. Finally, the introduction given by Eric's friend was more than sufficient in getting acquainted with the apartment's facilities and the neighbourhood.

    Abo's Abode in Montmartre
    192 reviews
Our studio is located in the very heart of Montmartre, one of the most famous and pleasant neighborhood or Paris. Our studio is modern, freshly renovated and refurbished in 2017. It's well-suited for a couple and a child, or eventually three friends.
Modern and charming studio in the butte Montmartre, a perfect place to discover Paris. Renovated in 2017, studio-one bedroom for 2, one bathroom, fully-fitted kitchen. digit code. Facilities: Washer, electric cooker, Plaque de cuisson, Micro-wave, refrigerator,TV, heating, flatiron, blow-dryer, Hoover, Nespresso machine. WIFI, towels and linens included. What makes our apartment so special? Right in the middle of Montmartre, Rue Lecuyer (Place Jean Gabin) is two-minute away from the Basilique du Sacré Coeur and from Place du Tertre, famous for its painters and artists. Located in one of the most dynamic neighbourhood of Paris, full of restaurants (Lapin Agile, La crémaillère, Cabaret Jazz, the well-known Le Moulin Rouge, Chez Michou...) wine bars, galleries, cabarets and daily-useful stores, the apartment is quiet and sunny. The perfect place for a couple or just a lovely way to feel the real spirit of Paris! We are available for you, so feel free to ask us about activities or other information. Situation and access: Easy to get to by bus or subway, Lamarck Caulaincourt (M12), Château Rouge (M4)or Marcadet Poissonnière (line 4) less than five minutes away from the flat. Ten Minutes from the historical center of Paris (Montmartre is a kind of center as well!)
The studio is without any doubt located in one of the greatest and most pleasant Parisian area. There are so many great restaurants, café, brasseries, wine marchants and other somptuous shops. This would also be forgetting the Sacré-Coeur, reachable in less than ten minutes by walk, and some of the best-known Parisian places (think of Le Moulin Rouge, Pigalle, Amélie Poulain...) It's simply one of the most pleasant and living neighborhood of Paris.
  • Nolwenn was a really lovely and welcoming host. I would not hesitate to come back. The apartment is really lovely and though small, they have made great use of the space so it really has all you need for a very nice stay in Montmatre. It's located in a great neighbourhood and is very peaceful.

    david2014-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Nolwen was very attentive prior to our arrival and prepared us well for the stay. The flat is conveniently located in the Montmartre section of Paris, a diverse and energetic nieghborhood, close to several Metro stops providing access to all areas of Paris. The flat, while small, is clean and well equipped in a very safe property (2 security doors). Many (many!) restaurants, bakeries, shops, cafes are within easy walking distance. The Sacre Couer, a beautiful old Cathedral is just up the hill and provides a tremendous vantage point for viewing the city. Close by is a veritable bazaar of shops, cafes, bakeries, and other points of interest. We recommend this property highly for one or two persons.

  • The apartment is pretty good, a little bit small but for the price its pretty ideal. The location is uphill from the metro stations, but very close to the sacre coeur, if you are wanting to go to locations around montmartre I would suggest that you walk up the steps across the road and walk around the basillica because everything is closer than you think. The washer/dryer is only a washer as well which was ok because the apartment is really warmly heater to dry the clothes quickly. Wifi is excellent. Overall it was a good experience, reminder to slam the door when you leave to ensure its closed.

  • Wonderful non touristy neighborhood close to Sacre Coeur and close enough by metro(very close station) to all the spots you must see in Paris. The studio was cozy, quiet and perfect for the two of us. Nolwenn and Didier were gracious and helpful. We highly recommend their listing.

  • The apartment is suited best for two people, as we were a bit cramped as a family of three. Still, we were not in the apartment much, so we made it work and had an enjoyable stay. It is located on a quiet street and has a convenient location. We enjoyed being so close to Sacre Coeur, the Montmartre area, and local grocery stores. The entrance to the Chateau Rouge stop is a bit crowded and a bit of a walk, but it was convenient being only two stops from Gare du Nord, since two of our trains departed from there. We were there during an unusual heat wave, so we did have to brave the heat without a fan--but under normal circumstances a window cracked open should suffice! Thank you Didier and Nolwenn for your hospitality!

    Kelsey2015-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Montmartre. The location is great - close to the Sacre Cour, Metro stations (Château Rough being the closest), and nice restraints (Mancini, an Italian that's only 2 minutes walk away, was superb. Highly regarded on Trip Advisor too). The apartment is small, so do bear that in mind. Couples will be fine; friends may find it a bit constrained. No major complaints at all. Nolwenn and Didier both welcomed us to the apartment, and gave us the instructions of how to get in to the very well safeguarded building. If the location appeals to you, and you're a couple, don't think twice about going here. It's seriously great.

    Jack2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It came exactly as Nolwynn had said and was, safe, clean, tidy and well located. It is a small studio suited to a couple or single traveller and is located on the first floor of an apartment block. We ate out during our stay and found restaurants within easy strolling distance.

  • We didn't get to meet Yamna due to a late train arrival, but she made sure to have everything ready for us and give us specific, easy to follow directions to access the apartment. Plus, she left delicious quiches for us to enjoy after a long day of traveling, which was wonderful. The beds were huge and extremely comfortable. The location is right next to a Metro line that goes nearly everywhere. Plus, it's a very quaint, quiet neighborhood that made us feel very Parisian. Another bonus is the grocery store across the street and the bakery right below! Yamna was fantastic with communication both before we got there and during our stay. The bathroom was a little out dated, small and unexpected (toilet that can't flush paper!). But, besides that it was perfect for our 4 nights and first trip to Paris, we would definitely recommend staying here.

    Amanda2015-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Yamna was very helpful and nice. The flat is small but very convenient location. Not very far from center. Access to metro or bus. Close to few food stores and bakery. I do recommend the flat and Yamna as a host. Thank you for lovely stay!

  • It's a great value for money! Bakery shop, pharmacy, metro station just below the house. Good connections to Disneyland, 20 mins from the centre by metro. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • When we arrived at place Yamna was already there. She told us where we habe metro, supermarkets and some useful information about moving around Paris. Place was very clean. Very good place. Metro was 20 m from our apartment. When we will be back to Paris we will take it again for sure.

    Kamil2013-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fantastic place to stay. It is located outside of the main tourist area, which is great because we could hit all the Parisian pastry shops and restaurants, however it is right beside a metro route that takes you directly to the Eiffel Tower and all the big attractions (about 15-20 minutes). The bakery directly downstairs is delicious, and Yamna arranged to have pastries ready for us when we picked up our keys. The bathroom is small but functional and internet was reliable, It's a great spot for anyone looking to explore Paris and have a quiet place to come back to. There is quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, but you'll need them after inevitably stopping at the bakery. Yamna was easy to get in touch with when we were making our plans. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Paris.

    Ashley2013-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice quiet area, close to the metro, buses and tram. Great place to explore the outer area of Paris, lots of variety in food choice, would recommend the Mexican restaurant at corner of building. There are Lo al markets near and across the street on Sunday. Enjoyed our time here very much.

Here is a little explanation: Paris is not a city like any other. It is a city divided into 20 districts, in no order of distance from the center. Despite the existence of district number 1, which is located in the center of a map of Paris. The borough (district) 4 is the most central of the fourth convergence of almost all means of transport in the station "Chatelet Le Halle". The central point of all roads in France is located in front of the church of Notre Dame de Paris in the 4th district. But the tourist points are not concentrated in this "centers". You had to monuments scattered throughout Paris. For example, the Eiffel Tower is located in the 7th district. The Arch of Triumph in the eighth. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart in the 18th. The Museum of the Louvre in the 1st district. Opera is the 8th district. The largest museum of Modern Art "Beaubourg" is located in the 3rd district. The Place de la Bastille is located in the 11th district ... As I wrote above: The Line closest metro of my apartment is the line number 4. The line 4 is unique dessert all subway lines, it facilitates access by all Paris, you can move easily to all tourist spots. With this line you 10 to 15 minutes of the 4th district, which is the most central district of Paris.
Observation: As I explained previously on the profile, the apartment is located in an area where there is an African market, so the majority of people attending and living there are people of black skin. This often causes an awesome surprise, fear, or even a series of assumptions about neighborhood safety, to those who are not used to seeing many black people together. These observations being done, thank you to our visitors for avoiding racist remarks. The neighborhood is safe, despite an African population. The police station is 100 meters from the apartment. The 18th neighborhood of Paris The 18th neighborhood of Paris is located on the right bank of the Seine, in the north of the city. After the 15th and the 20th neighborhood/district, it is the third most populous neighborhood of the city. It is also the best known and most popular tourist districts of Paris. Since 1860, as the common Vaugirard, Passy, Charonne, etc ... Montmartre was annexed to Paris. The mayor of the 18th district is located at 1, place Jules Joffrin. • We really enjoyed the time in Paris. One of the reasons is the hosting of Carmen and Salvatore:) it's a lovely place, pretty everything included what u need and nice flat to spend few days in Paris. It's located in a right spot. Very close to gar du nord and monmatre. We can definitely recommend this flat again:))

  • The studio was exactly as described. Small but compact with everything required for a short stay. Short walking distance to metro and buses, I was able to get around easily. Carmen was a great host, very helpful and very accommodating regarding my early arrival. She allowed me to check in quite early. She gave suggestions for public transportation and dining. She provided maps as well. I would definitely return to Carmen's studio and recommend it to friends. Thanks Carmen for the Roquefort and the chocolate. I enjoyed them thoroughly.

  • Such a lovely place; tastefully appointed with thoughtful attention. I would personally return and recommend.

    Kathleen2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment, very stylishly furnished, well equipped and with a great view on the Buttes-Chaumont park. The place is very clean and well maintained. And Yhou is a lovely host: very friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive and unassuming. I highly recommend this place, for short and for extended stays.

    Stefanie2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is a little away from the center of the city which makes it the perfect escape after a long day of sight-seeing. The view of the park and the amenities inside made the apartment a great space for relaxing. The neighborhood itself still has lots to offer and we couldn't speak more highly of our overall experience in this airbnb! Yhou was a great, communicative host and we will definitely stay there again when we visit Paris!

    Erica2017-05-07T00:00:00Z

  • Yhou was very communicative and her instructions for check-in made everything easy. She was there to greet us and the home was even better than our expectations. It's located in the 19th which is a little further from a lot of the tourist attractions but that's what we liked about it. Would not have changed a thing.

  • Really friendly and helpful hosts! Close to the metro, service and Montmartre for example. Good for a young traveller or a couple passing through Paris. Bed large enough two. Thanks for the stay!

    Hedda2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Pierre and his roommate were lovely hosts, both flexible and accommodating. The area is busy (so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!) but within walking distance of the Sacré-Cœur. Thanks for a lovely stay, guys!

    Noo2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Got there around 3pm and Pierre was not there. He came a few minutes after and was engaged with some other person. Kept apologizing. Anyways, went upstairs and the apartment had this funky smell, the dishes were in the sink, the kitchen was untidy. The bedroom I was staying the linens were unclean and smelly. I mean this was beginning to be unacceptable. The bathroom and toilet was separate. The bathroom was terrible. Really nasty!!! You could see the dirt in the tub. I mean, I couldn't sleep for the first two days because I was so uncomfortable. The guys were nice but the place was not anyway compared to the photos. After having a great first Aribnb stay, this one made it really bad. If this is not refund worthy then I don't know what will be. I left two days before my stay to find another place which costed me more.

Deux pièces lumineux dans immeuble ancien proche du canal saint Martin a deux pas de république. Large choix de restaurants, bars et commerces a proximité
Old style and luminous apartment in Central Paris, 50m2, 1 bedroom, bathroom, separated WC, American kitchen. All equipped. I rent my apartment when away on mission or during the week-ends. Bed sheets and towels available. Wifi access Close to small and typical grocery stores and to the Republique area with its nice bars and cafés. 2min-walk distance from the famous Canal Saint Martin and a few bus stations from Parc des Buttes Chaumont. A big cinema complex is at a walking distance along the Canal. Close to metro station Louis Blanc. Combines very central location in a trendy neighborhood and direct to major touristic areas with line 7 (to the Louvre or Quartier Latin) or line 2 (to Pigalle and Montmartre). Very close also to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord. You will like it!! no doubt.
  • Laure's appartment is reallyreally nice, pretty spacious and spotlessly clean. The photos are totally reliable. The area around is also quite charming, the canal is lovely and there are several nice restaurants, bistrots and take-aways just around the corner. Next time I come to Paris I totally consider staying at Laure's place again. Laure was very friendly and helpful and although we did not see her in person when we came to Paris, she immediately answered our questions via airbnb and mobile phone. Defintely recommend!

    Andrea2015-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Laure's place is cozy, bright, clean and central! Communication was easy and effortless, and we felt very welcome.

    Christine2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was great to stay at Laure's apartment during our New Years trip to Paris. She was very communicative when we were trying to coordinate our arrival and whenever we had any questions about the city during our stay. The apartment was beautiful and very spacious. We used the kitchen a few times and it had everything we needed. The bathroom is very new and there was enough space for all of our stuff on the counter. The area was great since it was close to a bakery, some small shops, and a few-minute walk from the metro. We were able to take the metro to get everywhere in the city. It was also nice because the area did not feel touristy at all. I would definitely stay again at this apartment next time I'm in Paris!

It is a lovely situated, spacious appartment with a great atmosphere and appears to be exactly as on the pictures. It is near the metro station and in a nice neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend people to stay there.

A very nice and cosy apartment (25m2) with carpets, many lamps, and old trinkets! Refurbished recently so very confortable, with a balcony, an open view, a bathtub and a sofa bed for 2 people. Easy to go to Montmartre and Sacré Coeur by foot.
It feels really great to live in this apartment, it's very confortable, and the heat comes from the floor so you are always warm ! In the summer you can enjoy the balcony.
You 'll find everything you need in the neighbourhood at any time, it's not a very touristic area so it's quite cheap compared to other places in Paris.
  • Leonor was a super efficient channel of communication right from the very beginning of our correspondance. On the day we reached Paris, we faced some difficulty in opening the apartment door at first, thus I tried calling Leonor, who picked up after just a few rings. Her apartment is truly a bohemian wonderland, she clearly has a talent for interior design. The apartment was extremely clean and cozy. Leonor went so far as to leave us a hand-written note listing some reminders as well as the wifi password. Amazing through and through. :) Merci bien Leonor!

    Jane2015-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Leonor was an amazing host, she gave some fantastic recomendations for my wife and I to enjoy "the real paris". She was also quick to respond to random requests while we were there such as where to print and buy wine late at night. The apartment is cosy, clean and packs character thanks to leonors unique decor. The location made it convinient to explore paris (bus stop to gare du nord and the metro station are opposite the building). The area itself was vibrant, busy and had everything you need close by (bakeries, supermarket, coffee shops). Its not postcard Paris as it has a strong multicultural influence - however this did not bother us in the slightest as we live in a similar area in london - it actually makes the experience more interesting! Highly recommeded.

    Joe2014-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • the weekend at leonor's place was great, we had all we needed. we liked especially the morning sun which waked us up :) leonor is a nice and easy going girl!

  • It was a great place to spend time and everything was clean and looked like in the pics. Leonor is great to communicate with so no problems at all. I totally can recommend this listing to everyone!

    Rafael2016-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment, and the perfect place if you want to feel the spirit of Paris. The owner is very friendly, the apartment was well equipped and clean. Right next to the metro station. Happy to recommend this apartment

    Olja2014-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic appartment in a lively neighbourhood

    Jóhann2017-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Leonor's apartment was very quaint and in a great location, right off both a bus line and the metro. There was also a market, several pharmacies, and restaurants nearby for convenience. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn't work when we were there, but Leonor left a note telling us this as well as provided passwords and such to try to get it to work. I recommend that if you stay here you bring earplugs, as there is a lot of traffic noise, but overall it was a safe apartment complex and we'd stay here again :) Leonor was great!

    Tara 2015-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is really really nice and comfortable. It's the perfect size for a couple and it has everything you need! I didn't manage to meet Leonor but she was super kind. I loved also the area, there's a nice Market, where you can find good and fresh food and there's a good boulangerie right downstairs where you can buy your "parisienne" breakfast!

Montmartre is an area with authentic charm, famous for the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and its magnificent view over Paris. The top of the hill is discovered by borrowing the funicular, at the price of a metro ticket. The more athletic ones climb the 222 steps through the Louise Michel square. After visiting the Basilica, visitors can take a stroll around the Butte Montmartre: the Place du Tertre and its famous caricaturists, the Dalí area, the vineyards of Montmartre, the cabaret of the Lapin Agile, the Montmartre museum ... The walk continues down to the Moulin Rouge, a historic cabaret with lively and world-famous evenings. On their way, visitors appreciate the creative and trendy showcases of the streets of Abbesses and Tardieu, the shops on Rue Lepic, the cosmopolitan streets of Steinkerque, the naughty neighborhood of Pigalle (sex shops) and Montmartre cemetery. A few minutes' walk from the Moulin Rouge in SoPi (South Pigalle), the tea room in the garden of the Museum of Romantic Life is ideal for a gourmet break.

  • This was my first time in Paris, and it Was grateful! My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lot our time in david'house, it was very pretty, big enought to have any sort of comfort, including having dinner for 4!

  • The house is exactly what you see on the pictures. Really good sleep and easy access to the public transportation. The neighborhood is safe.

    Liz2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This studio apartment is an easy 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord, which has an RER rail connection to CDG, and a Metro station. It is also close to Gare de l'Est. Despite being close to both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, it is quiet. If I was staying here as a single woman, I would not be comfortable walking on the streets after dark alone but as a couple, it was fine. The bed is a double pull-out couch with a foam mattress that is firm and quite comfortable. We appreciated that the host was able to honour our request for early check in. There is a kitchenette with cooktop, mini- fridge, and toaster oven (no microwave). The small bathroom has toilet, sink, and step-up shower. There is a beanbag chair and a table with two chairs. There is a wall heater and the window opens. We did not see any AC so it might be hot in summer. We carried our carry on bags up the two flights with no problem but for someone with limited strength this might be problematic. There were lots of interesting restaurants near. It was a 15 minute walk to Montmartre and a half-hour walk to downtown. We would stay here again. Sent from my iPhone

  • Everything was wonderful. The location was perfect, stores and metro were very near, and the neighbourhood was very nice. The room was more then satisfaying for the two us. Very clean and secure. Communication with David was excellent, the description of the apartment place and how to get to it from the airport was on point. We really enjoyed the stay and hope we will use his services again.

  • Great apartment, close to main train stations, within walking distance of attractions. It was just as described and we had a good stay.

  • We had an excellent stay at Davids place. David is a nice, friendly, helpfull and a reliable guy. The appartment is clean, functinal and equiped with all you need. The neighbourhood is OK, close to the subway, close to the A1 and its quiet at nighttimes. Being Dutch and therefor tall, the bedsofa wasn't to comfortable for sleeping 2. Overall: pricewise / quality: certainly worth it and recomended for your stay in Paris.

    Wico2015-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Although David is not physically in Paris but he made sure everything is clear by sending us a detailed instruction of how to get to the apartment. He is also available on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) in case we have any questions. Apartment is very close to Gare du Nord (10 min with our heavy luggage), as well as 2 other metro lines. Room is tidy and clean. We also encountered few of David's neighbors and they are all very friendly and helped us in our journey

  • Cedric met us at the apartment and made us feel really welcome. The flat was really cute and cozy and clean-- just like it appears online. The neighborhood was close to two metro stops so getting to the center of the city was easy. (It was maybe 20-30 minutes to get to Tour Eiffel from the flat). There were towels, we had access to wifi and they even left us beers in the fridge. Very great hosts. 10/10 would recommend.

  • The apartment is conveniently located, few steps away from metro station allowing quick access to the center of Paris. Shops, restaurants, bakery are all close . The photos and description of the apartment are accurate and correct. A plus for us was the possibility to make use of their parking space as finding a parking spot can be quite difficult in all of Paris.

  • A great location two minutes from the 4 Line. Just on the other side of Sacre Cœur. Jérôme has it described perfectly. Small, but clean & ideal for budget-minded single or couple.
