“This is a great spot right near everything that's happening downtown, on Gallery Row. We love coming here for a cocktail and charcuterie. Also, don't leave without trying their duck fat fries. ”

“A little tricky to figure out how to get to the Rooftop Lounge, but the view of Lancaster City is kind of a best kept secret. They serve parties and the 1860s Waterfall Retreat has worked with them before in order to host small gatherings on the rooftop with bar eats and great selection of drinks.. Dancing on 2nd floor is also fun. Park in a parking garage to be safe or take Uber. There are several good nightlife spots right nearby. ”

“Family-owned, Italian bakery with good coffee. A great place to buy a box of assorted pastry! We recommend their breakfast sandwiches on croissants and their cannoli filled upon order. Street parking can usually be found along Duke Street or in the Parking garage up the street.”

Restaurant
“This just might be our very favorite meal in Lancaster (and that's saying something, because we have endless amazing options for local food here). Aloo Pepper Roti, Buss Up Shut, Pepper Beef, and Doubles are among our favorite offerings here. If you're going for dinner, you'll need a reservation, but it's absolutely worth it. Our favorite time to go is Saturday afternoon for a late lunch, and you can usually walk in for a table. A definite MUST try when you're in the area!”
