Vacation Rentals in Lake Pillsbury

Just booked in Lake Pillsbury

Casa de Cozumel is a beautiful Lakefront Home on Clear Lake just one hour north of the Napa Valley and 3 hours north of San Francisco. The lower floor apartment has a seperate entrance, bath, kitchenette and bedroom and fireplace sleeps 5 ($150.00 per night). There is private patio, bbq , firepit, dining area that our guests have exclusive use of. As of December 2017 we lost the use of the use of the dock due to the winter storms. The sundeck and spa are common areas and available to our guests. The kitchenette is small and is suitable for light use. There is no cook top but there are the following: compact under counter refer/freezer, sink, microwave, convection /toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, toaster, Cuisinart grill, electric frying pan, juicer, rice cooker, crock pot. Most people use the bbq to grill and make salads etc. There is a cooler outside for extra cold storage. We have one small 8' kayak available for our guests and you are welcome to bring your own kayaks, canoes and PWC. Due to the winter storms of 2017 we no longer can offer the use of the dock.
It's all about the house and the lake. Most guests stay and dine at home. The town has a limited amount of restaurants and shopping.
  • The house is on the lake and it is beautiful. We had an amazing time, the weather was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with muffins, and bagels, and fruit on the dining room table. There a a million different things to do: poker, roulette, cards, board games, a kayak, a lake, a dock to hang out on, a hot tub, a bar that is perfect for hosting a "tiki" theme like we did. The entire experience was easy, and Julia was super communicative and easy to work with. Everything we needed was there, and we had the most amazing time. Thank you so much for letting us stay at such a wonderful place. Will definitely be coming back!

  • This house is beautiful! Julia and Gianni were the most accommodating hosts and had pretty much everything we needed for cooking. We stayed at this house for a planning sessions with our non-profit organization and the place enabled us to have a good balance of accomplishing our planning and relaxation. Thank you Julia and Gianni!

  • Julia and Gianni's home on the lake was absolutely beautiful and had more than what we were looking for to celebrate my birthday which always lands on a cold rainy January day - cozy fireplace, hot tub, beautiful lake views, BBQ grill, kitchenette, comfortable bedroom and living room space. We had an amazing night making sushi, watching Downton Abby, and drinking the delicious wine that our wonderful hosts left for us while enjoying the hot tub underneath the stars. Julia and Gianni were great hosts and I can't wait to come back to the house in the summer with a larger group of friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  • Julia and GIanni were very accomodating and helpful in our last minute work stay in Clearlake. They are considerate hosts in their communications and check-ins to ensure that one feels welcomed and comfortable in their lakefront airbnb. We stayed in the lower unit of their home which is set up with a bedroom + bar/kitchenette - a quirky layout that works given the access to the open deck space that is really just so picturesque. Extra nice touches were the kitchen appliances and supplies for breakfast. My favorite part was sitting in the hottub staring across the lake and hilltops. Hope to explore this lake area soon - especially when we can swim and enjoy the surroundings more!

  • We had a fantastic time at Casa de Cozumel! What sold us on this listing was the location and views of the lake, along with the extras, and that is exactly what made the trip enjoyable. It was so nice to be right on the water, to hear the waves crashing at night and enjoy the serene views that encompass the house. We also enjoyed use of the spa, the pool table, a card tournament made use of the poker table. When I had questions Julia & Gianni were super responsive, and great to deal with. Definitely recommend.

    Vanessa2015-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in Julia and Gianni's place! The house is directly on the lake and we loved sitting outside in the sunshine and moonshine enjoying the beautiful view! There is also a Jacuzzi that we were allowed to use as well as a pool table. Julia had even left breakfast for us! Would highly recommend!!

  • What an amazing experience! Shane and I stayed at the lakeside cottage for a little get away from our busy California trip and it exceeded our expectations! Not only was there a hot tubbing experience on the waterfront, but the view of the lake from the bedroom window was extraordinary. I've had the best sleep in two weeks in the comfy queen bed in the basement and many hours of fun playing pool with my significant other. We also had the option to take the 2 person kayak for a moon lit midnight stroll. Julia was an excellent host and provided us with every amenity. I would highly recommend this location to anyone! Especially for any couple looking for some time away : )

  • Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your lovely shore front home, after being displace by the valley fire it was a welcome break for me and my family, some of whom had traveled over from Australia to visit with us only to be burned out of house and home. Thank you again for your kind words and very real actions in refunding the rental cost to us, we really appreciate it. thank you thank you thank you.

  • The entire trip was a delightful retreat for my husband, daughter and I. The ride up Elk Mountain Road was an adventure but once we were there, Heather helped us nestle into our cabin and find our way around. She was an incredible host! We loved hearing about the history of the lodge and our lil is now very curious about the Wizard of Oz. The cabin was clean, porch area was wonderful for evenings and kitchen co-op was a new experience that I am now a huge fan of. Thank you so much for giving us a relaxing weekend away from home. We can't wait to come back!

  • Completely worth the drive. Hidden gem of a spot. We hope to be back soon. -Kris & Irwin

    Kris2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is was the perfect mountain getaway. So much history in this very rustic setting. The hostess, family and friends welcomed us into their community immediately and couldn't have done more to make us and our dogs feel right at home. People need to like rustic to embrace the idea of a community kitchen and 12 miles of dirt backroad into this gem. They went the extra miles to provide charcoal for BBQ and prepare a bonfire for us all one night.

    Audrey2016-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at the Sugar Pine cabin! It was great to get away and relax!

    Sophie2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, remote, unique, and special place. Wish we could've stayed longer. Thanks!

  • An electronics-free haven in the wilderness, this is the place is if you're looking to get away from it all. Heather was a friendly and helpful host and gave us lots of great tips about the area. Highlights were cooking marshmallows over the fire pit, long lake swims and seeing a real live bear in the woods!!!

    Natasha2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place was the perfect getaway for our family. We were craving a place where we could go and slow down and be surrounded by nature. Heather and her family have built such a special environment here at Hull Mountain Lodge. The Sugarpine cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It was immaculate with the most comfortable beds. The attention to detail and personal touches were perfect. We spent the day running around the Polo Field and playing down by the pond. We drove to the Lake and saw elk. Dinner was cooked on the camp fire and our kids loved every moment of it. Thank you Heather for what you have created here. We can't wait to come back with our friends.

    Shannon 2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was nice and exactly as described. The nearby swimming pond is great, and I would highly recommend it if you'e here during the summer. And Heather was a great host - friendly and helpful.

  • Hannah's home was lovely! The perfect home away from home! She was always quick to respond to any questions I had and was very hospitable. I also love how pet friendly the home was! There was a fenced area along the side of the house which worked perfectly for my pet! And the doggy bowls in the kitchen were a welcoming site. With 2 kids and a dog, I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

    Christine2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this place: the airbnb had some cute touches like coffee and tea available, cinnamon buns waiting for us on the counter with fruit, and eggs and wine in the fridge. The place was clean and cozy and the people in the neighborhood were friendly and helpful. Our dog loved the place too; it has a doggie door which we loved. The only thing is that the airbnb isn't super close to town, but other than that, we loved our stay!

    Analise2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed a week at the guest house and it was just as presented/described in the ad. The house was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the beautiful white fresh towels, the comfy bed & bedding, the WiFi, the televisions, and all the extras in the kitchen. We used the outside grill twice...first time when we found no propane, the gentleman host quickly hooked up a new tank. When we asked about using the washing machine, we were told it was broken and the next evening again the host surprised us by installing a brand new machine. The area too is just the ticket for quiet and relaxation. We truly enjoyed the rural surroundings. We just can say enough about the hosts and their attention to detail. Thank you so much for making our vacation into a wonderful memory for years to come.!

    Elizabeth2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place itself was good - comfortable, clean, and spacious. The real selling point is access to the land. My family and I went out to the back in the evening just as their neighbors' pack of horses galloped out into the field. We also got to briefly check out the pear orchard across the street. Wonderful place to stay. Potter Valley is a very cute place to get away.

    Sheila2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah was so responsive and helpful, she made things incredibly easy. The place was phenomenal, across the street from pear orchards and surrounded by vineyards, it was quite picturesque. The place was so clean, towels were freshly washed, and had all the amenities that will make me sure to go back again! Would highly recommend staying here when looking to get away.

    Michael2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great deal, house and experience! Clean and very comfortable, and very well outfitted, in a lovely setting. The communication in setting up the arrangements was excellent. The host was wonderful - not only did the house have tea, coffee, jams, biscotti and candy for us but, when we arrived at dinner time, he asked if we liked tamales and brought back a bag of wonderful tamales, gratis, and also gave us a dozen eggs from his chickens. He was very friendly and gave us lots of good ideas for places to visit. Highly recommend this place!

  • Very quiet, really nice and comfy on the inside. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend getaway full of hiking & swimming and stayed here. It is a bit far from most things, but as long as you plan accordingly it is a great place to stay!

  • The Reese Retreat was absolutely amazing! It's secluded, with breathtaking views, and a welcoming feel. Catherine makes the experience extra special by adding personal touches and recommendations (wineries/restuarants/hot springs). Whether you're snuggling up inside or out meeting the beautiful horses, it's an amazing getaway. We visited as a couple and loved it, but will definitely consider coming back with friends.

  • Catherine's place was absolutely beautiful - stunning views of the surrounding mountains, horses grazing in the fields, it was truly magical. A true treasure :)

  • It’s absolutely wonderful place , with Catherine”s great taste of interior design. We all enjoy the stay and felt expressed.

    Jiang2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Catherine was professional and prompt. The stay was enhanced by the hospitality shown in communication and in person upon arrival. The property was designed for comfort and relaxation. By far the best experience with AIRBNB yet.

    Joe2017-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our visit to the Ranch was absolutely wonderful. It's easy to find, yet also tucked away so that its private and secluded. The area is absolutely beautiful, and the views from the large windows throughout the space are definitely a feature. For us all of the animals were a big bonus. Beautiful horses, goats, chickens, dogs and a ranch cat! Catherine put an enormous amount of detail into so many pieces of the space. Candles, chocolates, beautiful photography, s'mores, and firewood. Everything was provided in a wonderful sort of way. Including having coffee and tea onsite which is always appreciated. Even though we visited during a cold time, the space was kept plenty warm by the pellet stove- and the fire is in fact quite romantic. Couldn't say enough nice things about this place- and on top of that Catherine is a great host. THANK YOU!

Clean, airy room with private bath and separate entrance, queen bed, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, cable TV and wireless internet. Quiet, peaceful setting in the vineyards. Snacks and drinks included. Price includes all taxes, there are no hidden fees.
Beautiful private setting, very quiet. Located on a small horse ranch. Riding lessons are available for an extra charge for those who might be interested in learning natural horsemanship.
Close to the Russian River, vineyard setting. Redwood Valley reminds me of Napa in the 1960s before it got crowded. Beautiful hiking trail to the Russian River. One mile from my house to the river.
  • We had a great stay at Monica's place! The room has a separate entrance, bathroom, and some kitchen amenities (fridge, microwave, table/chairs, and stocked with delicious snacks), so it feels like your own space. The area is very quiet so it was easy to get a good night's rest. Monica was flexible and easy to coordinate with for our arrival. She also has three wonderful horses on her property that she offered to let us ride (unfortunately I didn't bring proper shoes!) and that we got to pet and feed carrots to. Highly recommend staying here again.

  • We had a very nice stay at Monica's place. This was my 2nd time there. It is very clean, quiet, peaceful, lovely location and has everything we needed. The coffee, snacks, refrigerator, microwave and utensils were a nice added bonus. We plan to return and have recommended her place to family members.

  • We enjoyed the quietness, peacefulness and privacy of this place and room. Thank you Monica for your hospitality.

  • It was a wonderful experience and we very much enjoyed Monica's hospitality. She cleaned the room well, with a comfortable bed and pillows, etc. And we got to try the very tasty well water. It is a perfect accomodation. The horse-riding was a very pleasant experience for both of us and especially for me who knows nothing about riding and glooming a horse. Monica is a very generous and compassionate person, not only to us and I am sure to other people as well, but also to her horses. I learned a lot from her about how we can communicate with horses to build rapport and make them feel our energy. Our stay was super fun and we will go back! We must mention that she quickly mailed back a small item that I careless left in the room to me. Thank you so much Monica!

  • Fine little place, just off the freeway and still totally quiet with natural sounds. Room is simple and bathroom is nice. Nice assortment of drinks and snacks which helps when there is no nearby cafe or grocery that I saw. Microwave, refrigerator and a freezer. Monica is an engaging host.

    Roy2016-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Monica is friendly, accommodating and very responsive. Or stay was perfect. I'm sure we'll stay again.

    Jeff2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, quiet and peacful. No noisy neighbors and ample parking. Studio is as described however the air conditioner is a portable unit so it is rather noisy. Fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks as well as some snacks on top of fridge. Overall I would stay there again and is much better than your choice of mid grade hotels in Ukiah for the same amount of money. The host is very polite and kind. If not for the airconditioner this place would be A plus!!

  • We were looking to stay in a place near Redwood Valley and were pleased to find one actually in the town. It was a great rural place with much to see. We were really made to feel like family. It was a great escape from city living with a lot to see and do. Monica even has 3 beautiful horses. Thank You Monica.

  • My bf and I stayed at the Madrone cabin and we really had the quality time we've been wanting for quite some time. It was such an interesting property with really cool antiques surrounding us, and Heather was a very precise, efficient host. She made sure we knew what opportunities we had and we really appreciated her. Would recommend to take a lovely getaway here!

    Guada2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Heather was amazing! She made us feel so welcome and anticipated all of our needs. The place was wonderful. There was so much history and Heather was kind enough to show us all of the amazing antiques and memorabilia. We enjoyed the fire pit, the deck and the cabin so much. The neighborhood was safe and had a really great private swimming pond with covered areas if you didn't want to go all the way to the lake. We have been telling all of our friends about it and we are already planning our next trip!!!

    rick2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is AMAZING!! I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to disconnect from every day life and enjoy the serenity of nature!

    Natalia2016-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • We and our pup loved the stay in Heather's cottage. Super quiet (complete silence in the night), amazing stargazing opportunities, nice local pond for swimming and sunbathing, big lake nearby for swimming, kayaking & water sports, and lots of amazing hikes. Cottage is great too -- all wooden & nicely decorated, good functioning shower, nice patio with a mini weber grill, spacious shared kitchen with 2 other cottages. Heather is super nice too, she walked us through the place and gave great hints for what to do nearby. Great place to spend a weekend or vacation. We'd love to come back!

    Tomas2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Too bad it was raining during our stay to really go out and explore the forest, but the seclusion + wood stove + good books made for a nice relaxing few days. Our two dogs loved running about as well. It was a nice little cabin for two.

    bo2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Im not much for words, but this place is magical. Love the adventure to even get there!!! Heather is an awesome host and extremely helpful even to us cityslickers ! A little hidden , but if you get lost, she will find you! There is awesome history involving the compound and breathtaking views all around!!! We enjoyed our stay even through the rain, disconnected from everyday life. You will not be disappointed.

    daniel2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! Super cozy cabin, comfy, nice and warm, and everything was set up for our arrival. We loved exploring the lake every day, and caught plenty of fish. The woods are really beautiful, and although the location is remote it's a beautiful drive the whole way. Heather and her boyfriend are super nice, helpful and friendly and her dogs are super sweet. We loved being able to bring our dog too, who had a blast sniffing around and playing. I would definitely recommend the ranch for a quiet trip away from the city, or for anyone who's into hiking, fishing, hunting, stargazing or anything in the outdoors (but with hot showers!) And no wifi or cell reception were definitely a plus for us! Thanks Heather for everything, we would love to come back some time!

    sofia2016-11-06T00:00:00Z

  • The guest house/cottage was as described, a really nice to live/stay in. The outdoor deck is particularly nice and the view on the lake and mountain is really magic. The place is well equipped and has interesting features, works best for 2 people or a couple with kids. Lake mendocino is pretty, seems great for water boats, not the best facility/set up for swimming. Host was really welcoming and had responded to all our requests.

    Philippe2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The guest house is in a beautiful, secluded area within walking distance of Lake Mendocino. The porch views of the lake are breathtaking during the day and at night you can relax and enjoy the stars. I highly reccomend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the area.

  • First off, my friends and I went in with no expectation. I just knew we all have a love for music, we're pretty easy going, and wanted to find a place to get together and reunite after 6 years apart. This place is definitely unique and we absolutely loved it. We didn't really have a plan for our weekend though Spencer was kind enough to sit down and give us some great suggestions on places to go(Montgomery Woods and City of 10,000 Buddha's) and food to eat, the pizza was delish! While we enjoyed doing a bit of site seeing we absolutely loved just hanging out on the property with the horses, dipping our feet in the pool, checking out all the sculptures and musical instruments (its like a mini museum), and our favorite.. sitting by the bonfire at night catching up and having a few cold ones! If your looking for a place to relax... this place is perfect. On a side note, reading about using their bathroom to shower might make some feel a little uncomfy but really they are so chill it wasn't a big deal. Thanks for a one-of-a-kind stay Spencer and Esther!

    Colleen 2015-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice place to stay! It's spacious, lots to see, clean, great hosts and a very good bed.

    Dominic2013-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our host, Spencer, was waiting at the door upon my arrival. He couldn't have been more friendly or welcoming. He toured me through the quarters, explaining all the details, lighting, sleeping, kitchen area etc. Everything was exactly as described in their bio, and more. We even strolled out to the barn, where I got to meet their horses. Who are also friendly! :) The next day Esther came by and visited with my friends and me. The hosts are charming, gracious, and provided us with all we needed to know about their home and surrounding area. They made us feel at home and welcomed. This place is a gem and I cannot recommend it more highly. And especially if you are looking for a music studio, as were my friends and I, it can't be beat. We loved the space, being able to play music in an original recording studio, was so awesome. Surrounded by a vineyard and miles of open space, nature is at your doorstep and perfect for walking/jogging/bicycling. Thank you Spencer and Esther, We will be back for sure!

    Rosemary2016-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful relaxing place to stay. The foot thick walls really make the studio quiet! Spencer and Esther are gracious hosts and Spencer has many fascinating stories!

    Tim2013-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Spencer and Esther were fabulous hosts and own a unique and memorable place. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed noodling around on his finely tuned piano, which is in a soundproofed room so you can play all night long without disturbing them. Spencer himself has a lot of stories to tell, but he had to sleep earlier for work the next day (they had stayed past their bedtime to accomodate us since we were arriving late). In the morning, Esther showed us the backyard and barn, and we admired her horses as they ran around in the arena. Spencer and Esther have a lot of experience taking care of foster kids, so they're used to guests around the house. A very warm-hearted coup le.. thanks guys!

    Wei2012-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Spencer and Esther were very nice and attentive with us, great host, also they recommended very interesting routes and places to visit. They give all the privacy we could want And the studio is absolutely amazing! The surroundings of the house are very beautiful and quiet, in the countryside but next to the Free Way 101. We would like to be longer if we could, it has been a great experience to be there.

    Josep2014-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Spencer and Esther's property is like a dream! The studio is so eccentric and the sound system is amazing. The bed is huge and so comfy, and Spencer and Esther even left us a bottle of their own wine! The wall's are thick so we didn't have to worry about our staying up too late talking or playing the music too loudly. We were able to use the kitchen and shower in the main house. We said hi to the horses outside and walked around the lovely backyard/garden. Although I never met Spencer and Esther, my correspondence with them went very smoothly and I felt so welcomed in their home. Would love to return if they'll have us!

  • Beth was a lovely host. She has great communication--she was the first to check in with me about my arrival time and she suggested some fun places for me to visit while I was en-route. When I had some trouble getting to her house (I'm fairly certain my car took me on a walking trail up to her place... so don't take that road) she was very patient and talked me through getting up to her cabin. The place is homey and despite my short stay I felt completely welcomed.

    Lorrain2017-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Rustic, and economic. Great place to relax. Beth is easy to chat with, and attentive to providing a comfortable stay.

    Elizabeth2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • I was in town for a wedding at a local venue. I very much enjoyed my stay with Beth. She made me feel very comfortable and welcome in her home. The view is beautiful, as is the location. The welcoming party (her dog) was very sweet and kept me company while I got ready in the morning. : ) I found the bed super comfortable! She was very responsive to messages & checked in with me a couple times before I arrived and there after, to make sure everything was going okay. I had a great stay, for a great price. Thanks again Beth!!!

    Elizabeth2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • First of all, Beth is a warm, considerate, and responsive host. Her house feels like a summer lake house with a big wrap around porch and rustic wood detail on the inside. It is definitely country living, so bring a sturdy pair of shoes if you plan on walking around! The room is sparse and beautiful- a gorgeous floor to ceiling picture window view of the lake, a bed and a desk. But why spend much time in the room when the lake, and many hiking trails are a short walk away? It was exactly what I was looking for- a simple, calm country getaway at a reasonable price.

    Jessica2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Beth's home is very comfortable. You may want to check with Beth for directions as your GPS or navigational software may send you to the wrong address. The porch is a nice place to spend some time.

A great private house in the heart of Vichy Springs. Near Vichy Springs resort. The house has four beds and pull out sofa. Near Lake Mendocino and plenty of drive way space for a boat. There is also a pull out sofa for more room.
  • Lovely house and views. The kitchen is minimally stocked. Josephina' s communication was quick and check in was easy.

    Stacie2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed with my family at Josefina's house. The location is perfect, just outside of town and along a beautiful river. The house was wonderful, even larger than we expected and very comfortable. There was a fairly minimal amount of kitchen supplies, towels, and linens, so I would suggest bringing some of your own items to supplement or checking with the owner in advance to confirm any specific needs. We also had some issues getting the TVs to work, but hopefully that was just a one time glitch. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend it!

    Dayspring2017-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The house is spacious and comfortable for families with children. The position is residential and the car is needed for everything, but it is very close to Vichy spa. I have to agree with the previous review that the house is minimally stocked. We had to buy toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and the washer machine soap. Bed linens are just the ones on the bed. We had problems finding linens for the sofa bed, which at the end were found huddled in a closet and didn't look clean. Don't expect more than one towel set. Also, the kitchen lack of a colander, a bowl, a regular bottle opener ...a chopping board was missing too. I recommend the house,we slept very well, but pack few supplies that you might need over your stay.

    Cristiana2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great host and very easy to communicate with. Lovely home with close/easy access to Ukiah and surrounding areas. Plenty of space for our group of 8. Would definitely recommend and use again when in the area.

    Amy Elizabeth2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • I think Josefina is paying attention to earlier reviews as we had plenty towels and other items previous reviews said were lacking. Yes, the kitchen is still minimally stocked but there's enough there to get you started. The house has plenty of space. Our kids had a great time playing nighttime sardines. Our only complaints are that WiFi is spotty at best and there isn't enough outside seating to enjoy a great porch! Would recommend this house to others who can do without wifi for a few days.

    Rosa2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The house was great. Setup very well!

    Daniel2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay! The rooms were big, beds comfortable, and common spaces inviting. The internet was patchy, but it was great motivation to sit outside and enjoy the hills. We looked out deer in the evenings and turkeys in the mornings.

  • I had a perfect stay at Orell's house. I was in Ukiah for school and needed a quiet spot to rest and do homework after a long evening of classes. The room was clean, and nicely designed. The bed had crisp cotton linens and was super comfortable! There was even a little desk, perfect for studying. The house is in a lovely neighborhood in the oak hills, minutes from the heart of Ukiah. Orell made me feel very welcome. There is a kitchenette with breakfast food and snacks, a place to do laundry, coffee and tea. I took a nice walk the next morning through the peaceful neighborhood. It was the perfect Ukiah refuge. There is also a roomy living room and deck that guests can use, that I did not use. I had a very short but restful time!

    Aaron2016-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • I had time away from a business trip for a mini-therapeutic-vacation with a local ayurvedic/siddha healer named Darca, and need quiet place to stay. Orell's place fit my needs perfectly. My room was in its own corner of the house, so it really felt like I had my own space. Orell's made himself available for area help/guidance as much or as little as a guest might desire. He also provided little extras like snacks(which I enjoyed) and even asked what fruits do I like. It was a pleasure and a comfort to stay at Orell's place, and would gladly do so again. Thanks Orell.

  • I was blown away by Orell's hospitality. He goes way above and beyond expectations for an AirBnB host. I couldn't imagine more comfortable or convenient accommodations than at his house. You would be making a very good choice to stay a night or more with him. He's also had some very interesting life experiences which you'd have a good time hearing about!

    Noah2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Its a quiet place out there. I could build myself a pillow fortress and hear the birds singing all along outside the window. The little puppy is so adorable that I wouldn't want to stop playing with him. The snack shack is comes in handy if you wanna munch something.

    Rajkiran2016-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • I arrived pretty late at Orells place but he still waited till I got there. His place is absolutely amazing. Huge living room and I felt really homey there. Everything was clean and tidy and he gave me a tour around the neighborhood in the morning. I loved it there and hopefully I can return sometime when I'm back in the US!

  • I was very pleased with the quiet comfort of this space. I had everything I needed and more. It was a most pleasant stay for me.

  • Thank you June and Paul for an AMAZING stay at the Featherbed Railroad bed and and breakfast! We had an amazing relaxing experience. The breakfast that June made us was incredible. The entire experience exceeded our expectations and we hope to one day go back and stay for more than just one night!

  • The caboose was definitely the most unique place we've stayed in a while, and the breakfast was fantastic!

  • We loved our stay at Featherbed Railroad so much we didn't want to leave! The train cars for rooms was the coolest thing I've ever seen. The inside was sooo comfy, felt like home. We stayed in the wine country car. The bed was so comfortable!!! I loved the tub (still want to know how they got that in there lol). We loved everything about our stay. The owners were incredibly sweet and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer but we'll definitely be back!

  • Tony was such a thoughtful and great host. He called to confirm and ask if we had any dietary restriction prior to our arrival. He also sent a nice email thanking us after our stay. We had never been to Clear Lake before and were just looking for a place to escape the city. The coast of clear lake has a lot of algae, so I highly recommend renting a boat, the center of the lake is great. Tony recommended some great things to do in town and obviously knows his way around. We went to a blues festival in nearby Upper-lake and had the best time. We also went the next dat to Blue Lake, about 30 minutes away, which as exactly what we were looking for. Clear blue water, rope swings, small beaches, and even paddle boards and canoes for rent. The cars were very cool, cozy, clean, and all with Jacuzzi in the middle. It was nice they do have a couple dog friendly rooms. I think you need to mention this in reservation, because only a couple of the cars allow dogs. Breakfast was simple and well prepared. Fun train themed dining room.

  • What a cool and unique stay! Amazing breakfast too! Highly recommend!

  • The Featherbed railroad was one of the most unique places I have stayed in my entire life. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. The caboose was gorgeous and the staff was very friendly. The scenery was out of this world (I have never been to clear lake before this trip.) Breakfast was excellent! Thank you for a great stay we'll be back

This house was built in 1927 by my Great Grandparents. They began the vineyards that we still farm today. The barn is a walk through the history of some of the first settlers here in Calpella, Mendocino County. "Little Italy" The house is very comfortable and relaxing. You can enjoy the fishing pond, the shade of the walnut trees and the beautiful views. The house is newly renovated, using authentic furnishings. The tile shower is a great compliment to to authentic claw foot bath tub. We are very close to Lake Mendocino and the Redwoods. We love to have people stay on our ranch and share in the history here!
Market, Breakfast, Lunch Dinner Restaurant, and Bar less than a mile from us.
  • We had an awesome time staying at testa house! Great country feel, comfy beds, all the amenities you would need and even extra bonuses like access to the boat that you can take around the small pond right next to the house! The only downside is that you can still hear the freeway and back roads when outside. If we have to go back, I would pick it as a place to stay again.

    Lina2014-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • We liked Maria right off the bat, and were so impressed with the Testa House. Very wine country, rustic feel with a modern spin. We had a group of 7 as well as an infant and a dog, and we all were cozy and comfortable. The outdoor space by the tasting room is perfect for picnics and family dinners, and I loved the bed on the front patio. The kitchen could use some upgrades, but it's spacious and great for cooking. Already considering a trip back...

  • Our group had a wonderful time at Testa! The house is charming and comfortable with the best porch ever to hang out on. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking our dinners there. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Maria and Rusty are such generous hosts. Oh, and make sure to try Testa's wine out...the tasting room is right there! We loved the white.

    Kate2014-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful, charming farm style house that we rented to go to Orr Hot Springs. The amenities were modern while the home maintained a kitschy and quaint feeling. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the house had ample games, books and movies. The beds were comfortable and plenty for a group of 5. The Testa Vineyards Tasting room was right across the driveway and they provided us with free tastings for all of us at the house. It was an overall pretty good experience. There were two discrepancies I would like to point out, first of all there was a wedding being held on the property and I was informed two days before about music until 10 only when I enquired about checking in an hour early. We were uninformed that the wedding would literally be next to the house and that the whole house would shake substantially from the music and that occasionally caterers would store things in the laundry of the house. It seemed odd that the wedding wasn't using the Testa house and probably shouldn't rent the house if a wedding is going on. Secondly upon arrival we were required to sign a liability release and house contract which we were again uninformed previously and is not mentioned in the listing. These two events were rather off putting. The family was friendly though and we made the best of it.

    saachi2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Testa House was everything we hoped it would be, only better. Maria is a remarkably generous and helpful hostess and we had a perfect 4 day stay with 3 generations of family. The guest rooms were lovingly decorated and the beds were extra comfy, with plenty of soft bedding and pillows. The front porch was delightful, even had a 4th bed and a table where we ate our eggs Benedict. The bonus was having the opportunity to taste the Maria's wines; we ended up joining their wine club, and the bottles arrived the day after we got home. Many thanks for making us feel so welcome!

    Mariah2014-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • The host Maria was very prompt, kind, informative, and friendly. If there is a need she fills it.... almost immediately. The farmhouse was quaint and clean. We got to know the family history which was very interesting. It would make for a best seller book. Fabulous place to enjoy.

    Martha2014-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • We visited Testa house for a weekend to attend a wedding nearby. We had no problems finding the house. Someone was there when we arrived to show us around and make us welcome. The house easily accommodated 7 adult family members. We made a couple of meals and had all we needed in the well appointed kitchen. The house was spacious, yet cozy. The front porch was my favorite spot. The view of the vineyard and flower gardens were beautiful. It was so nice to have some peace and rest during a hectic wedding weekend. We enjoyed tasting the vineyard's wine. Maria was a great host and very easy to work with. We hope we can find another reason to visit again!

  • Enjoyable spot with many animals nearby and Peggy has grown some wonderful roses all over the property she allows you to pick. Make sure to see the stars at night!

    Brieanne2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • When I arrived, Peggy was waiting by the side of the road as promised. She took me on a thorough tour of the space and then graciously left me on my own. The space felt somewhat enclosed as the ceilings are on the low side but it helped to open a few windows to get fresh air flowing. Otherwise the space was adequate for a one night stay. I would recommend providing a comfortable place to sit outside as the countryside is beautiful.

    Julie2015-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice host, and B & B with amenities as described, and even better. Fresh flowers from the rose garden, grapes as in wine country, and ponies across the street. Peggy was very helpful, and even after we left and thought we forgot something. First B and B was very satisfactory. Thank you.

    barbara2015-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our visit at The Prancing Pony was short but sweet. Peggy was lovely, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and comfortable with more than enough space for three of us. The little mini horses out in the yard made for an even better experience, they are SO CUTE!! We fed them apples for breakfast, a great way to start our day! I would definitely stay there again :)

    Andrea2015-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at the prancing pony. Peggy was very accommodating, the apartment was spacious and clean, and the ponies were very cute. Highly recommended!

    Bridget2015-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy was a very patient host, we got caught in traffic and got out to the Prancing Pony very late, but she never complained and was happy to give us a full tour of the place. The garden and road are nice, dotted with wild flowers. The cottage is everything we needed.

Enjoy a fully equipped and fully furnished travel trailer in what we are striving to make THE premier RV Park in all of Lake County. The unit has two entrances and contains a queen bed, couch and dining area (both of which can be converted to single beds). There's a TV, microwave, range, refrigerator, toilet and shower. (The park restrooms are available nearby as well.) There is ample cabinet and drawer space. There is a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Need anything else? Just let us know!
We are an RV Park situated right on the waterfront at California's largest lake (Clear Lake). Located in beautiful Lake County, we have incredible vistas (of the water, the birds, the hills and Mount Konocti) that will take your breath away. And it’s not just during the daylight hours. According to the American Lung Association, Lake County has the cleanest air in the entire USA, which translates into awesome stargazing. Haven’t seen the Milky Way lately? It’s almost always visible in our night skies. Unlike at a motel, you won’t step out of your room into sterile hallway. Rather, you will walk into a slice of heaven, and (should you choose) be able share the experience with some of the loveliest people in the world: RVers – from every state and many foreign nations – are always with us, and they are among the world’s most interesting, intelligent, laid back and friendly people. An RVer, of course, is someone who travels around in a recreational vehicle (i.e., an RV). For them, we have 50 available sites, each with full water, sewer and electricity hook-ups. For other folks (who may want to enjoy the advantages of this refreshing lifestyle), we are all set up for you, too. Try out a fully furnished unit and see why so many people are spending time in motorhomes and travel trailers. There aren’t many motel rooms from which you can walk over to a canoe or kayak in about thirty seconds and then paddle your way – free of charge, no less – on a truly enchanting trip (especially in the early mornings, when the water is usually smooth as glass). As you make your way among the grebes, geese, egrets, coots, gulls, ducks, pelicans (and tons of other bird species), you will be floating on a world-renowned fisherman’s paradise. In fact, Clear Lake is the only lake in the nation that has been in the top ten in every one of Bassmaster’s annual ratings. So, when you get back on shore, you may want to pull out a rod and try your hand at fishing. We’ve had 15 pound catfish caught right off of our seawall, and bass, crappie, bluegill and more are usually biting as well. (A fishing license is required for those older than age 15). Our multiple fire pits, lakeside fish tank, barbecue, activities room, on-site laundry, boat ramp, picnic tables, and more are all waiting for you. So, too, is our lakeside theater, where you can watch a movie (also free) with the stars above and the lake beyond. In short, just do as our website suggests: (URL HIDDEN)
Although we are on the shore of Clear Lake, the main area access (Highway 20) is less than two minutes away, providing access to all that beautiful Lake County has to offer. Hiking, bird watching, wineries, rock climbing, fishing, hunting, ATV riding, horseback riding, casinos, hot springs, camels (yes, camels!), nature tours and more are in our vicinity.
  • My wife, myself and my 2 kids stayed one night on our trip through northern California. We always wanted to stay in an RV and thought this would be the perfect time to do it. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. As soon as we arrived they were there to meet us and give us a tour of the RV and the other amenities. We took advantage of the canoe (free) and rented one of the 2 wave runners for an hour (very reasonable) and it was a lot of fun. The 2 public bathrooms were under construction at the time but that didn't impact us because we used the bathroom in the RV. It also appears they are adding on to the public space that overlooks the lake. Both projects should be added benefits when they are done. There's not a beach or piers to jump off of, just a small boat ramp and gravel drive down to the waters edge. That didn't really impact us either. Just wanted to mention in case someone is specifically looking for a place with easy "jump-in" type of water access. All in all, we would certainly stay again if we were in the area and wanted to experience RV living again.

  • Nice little retreat in Nice, CA. Right on the water. Can fish, swim, canoe, kayak, and even rent two wave runners right on site (all free except wave runners). Friendly staff. An easy 10-15 min drive into Lakeport if you need more options for dinner or activity. Bathrooms and showers are being upgraded/customized and will be really nice when done. They are clean/good now but owners want them top notch. 4 of us slept comfortably. 2 kids ages 10 & 7 and 2 adults. There is direct TV. Refrigerator and freezer , small microwave and small range oven. AC works great. If you go into staying here with the mindset that it's not the Ritz Carlton you'll be just fine. Remember it is an RV..... Thank you again Mike and staff.

Potter Valley, nestled at the headwaters of the famed Russian River in Mendocino is a pastoral gem of vineyards and orchards. Over 1000 acres of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir are cultivated during the hot days and cool nights. The home has a full kitchen and dining area, living room with satellite television, propane BBQ and picnic area, and views of the northern mountains and pear orchards. Perfect for couples and families. All are welcome to enjoy the rural beauty of the valley.
Hopper's Corner Store is the only general store and gas in town, located on Main Street. This area also hosts Hopper's Corner Saloon, a true callback to the bars of old, complete with swinging saloon doors.
  • Hannah was such a wonderful host! We were pleasantly surprised to see candies and fruits waiting for us:) Thank you for turning on the ac, it felt really good to walk into the cool home after a long, tiring drive! The cabin was cozy and comfortable. It was right accross an orchard and the folks were so friendly and welcoming! If you like to disconnect from fast paced city life and take in the beauty of country life, I strongly recommend this cabin. Wifi is tad slow but that's already mentioned in the notes by Hannah. My family and I had a great time here! There are some lakes around this place and a beautiful redwood reserve around here!

  • We had a lovely stay in Potter Valley! The place was great and when they found out we were on our honeymoon, we found a beautiful bouquet of flowers and some bubbly which was a very nice touch. We would definitely recommend!

  • Really enjoyed experiencing community/family scale agriculture/lifestyle up close and personal. At night, quiet, stars, and crickets. The air in the orchards/vineyards is alive. Kitchen was well equipped and very functional. Nice towels, linens, furniture and amenities. Every single person in the community was friendly and helpful. The entire region is the real deal. Real people doing real agriculture. Looking forward to enjoying the harvest. Hannah was great. We booked late in the day. Prompt response and follow through. Pleasant and easy to work with.

  • Enjoyed the stay in a very relaxing neighborhood. The decor was very artistic and inviting, nice comfy beds. The kitchen was well equipped, unless you mind doing dishes. Thete is washer dryer for clothes. Nice picnic bench and grill in the yard. The owners were on the same campus if we needed anything, but not at all interfering or interrupting the privacy. Lots of activities in 20 minute drivibg distance. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • We recently traveled to Ukiah for a family wedding and had the pleasure of staying at JoAnn and Ken's magical retreat, nestled amongst the vineyards, along the banks of the Russian River. The setting is secluded and gorgeous. The view out of the front windows is a beautiful meadow with fruit trees and a towering oak. In the back is a private deck surrounded by lush vegetation and bay laurel trees. Most mornings we awoke to find a mama deer and her two babies passing through. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. It is spacious enough that our group of 6 could easily spend time together or apart. Of particular note are the many hand crafted pieces of art throughout the house which gives the place a level of elegance not usually found in vacation rentals. In fact, staying at JoAnn and Ken's made me feel less like I was in a rental and more like I was in a friend's home.

    Mimi2013-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time at JoAnn and Ken's Ukiah home. They were wonderful at answering questions. The location was perfect as a homebase for exploring Downtown, Vichy Springs and the Skunk Train. The house was just the right size for our group of 2 families with 2 toddlers. Each family on each side of the house gave us our own space. We had all the amenities we needed. The interiors/exteriors and landscape were even more lovely than the pictures. You can tell the house is a treasure to them, with so much thought put into every detail. We are so grateful that they shared it with us!

    Liza2015-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures don't do it justice - the whole family - from toddler to mother in law loved this place. Serene private retreat and we fell in love with Ukiah - like Napa without any pretentiousness and cheap!

  • We stayed here a few days recently. The house was modern and had good amenities. The hosts were professional and no hassles. The house is a bit out of town, but the river access there was nice. The AC was also a nice touch especially in the summer.

  • This place is wonderful. Clean, spacious, and the furnishings are all up-scale. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs the room!

  • Great place for a weekend get away. House is comfortable, open and airy. It has all the necessary accessories. Great patios and kitchen! If you have a small kayak, bring it along to use on the river!

  • What a pleasant home this is. Very comfortable and liveable and if you leave the window open a crack you can listen to the river all night. :)

Basically, this area is the "Gateway to the Redwoods - famous (from Reno) arch over Hwy. 101 at the entrance to Willits. My home is 2 miles from downtown. The property is 2/3 of an acre and mostly landscaped. Willits is also 15 minutes to the famous Sea Biscuit Ranch, 33 miles to the coast, and 60 miles to Richardson Grove - some of the most beautiful redwood groves.
Nicely appointed, antique furnished room with new comfortable, double mattress in bright room. Half of the closet has room to hang any clothes and the two top drawers of the dresser are also available. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, fresh towels and toiletries. Wifi is available throughout the house.
Neighborhood is in the country, yet close to downtown. Note: Neighbors have chickens/rooster, and the room does face the main road so its not totally quiet - even more so if the windows are ajar. If you need total quiet, this may not be the place you want. Nights usually cool down and there is a fan in the room if needed. None of this has been an issue so far.
  • Very beautiful and very quiet.

  • Lisa's place is amazing. A very comfortable clean house in a quiet area that's still close to the town. We had so much fun chatting with Lisa and shared a glass of wine or two. She helped us with directions and must dos in the Mendocino area and beyond. If your visiting willits there's no better place to stay

  • Lisa's place and Willits was great! We were visiting San Francisco from the east coast and wanted to go to Redwood national parks and didnt want to drive back down the same day. Willits is a great mid point, so we stayed there a night after going to Humdbolt Park (amazing!) and stayed with Lisa and the next day went to the coast to enjoy the (URL HIDDEN) only about 40 mins from her house... so great location. Lisa's house is super cute and comfortable and she is really chill and interesting to talk to. We were really tired after a day of hiking, and loved coming to a comfortable house, she had the bathroom ready with clean towels, fresh lavender, etc. She had breakfast for us the next day. She's great if you want to chill and talk but also gives you space if you are tired and want to relax. highly recommend!

  • Lisa is not only a fantastic host, but an amazing person at that. We bonded right when I got there and she treated me like her friend. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The town is nice and small and very local. Thank you again so much Lisa for letting me stay with you and making me feel right at home! :)
