Street Address
“Down in Gymea, TLD is the brainchild of artists Tristan Bentley and Josh Walker. Their fluorescent yellow, orange, and teal studio—adorned with wood cutouts, floor-to-ceiling artwork, and graffiti—could not be a better reflection of their Willy Wonka style. They often do bold traditional pieces with a dose of humour. There’s no one else like them. Book ahead. Look out for their ‘flash days’, when artists paint new designs and people pick whatever they want to get tattooed on the spot. They might wear Hawaiian shirts and speed-dealer sunnies for the event. They’re just a bunch of loose weirdos that have a lot of fun.”
