  • Rebecca's cottage in Kimbolton was a brilliant location for a weekend retreat. There were many little touches made to ensure that we had everything we needed during our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and made clever use of all available space. Four of us were very comfortable and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

  • Just had another great stay at Geraldine’s place, spent a few weeks here and enjoyed every moment there, felt like I was returning home, every time I came back. Thank you Geri.

    Stephen2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Again another wonderful stay with Geraldine. This was my 5th stay ( I think), and will continue as long as I can.

    Stephen2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • What more can I say than I already have previously. This is my third or forth stay with Geraldine, and it’s as good as previous visits. Will always choose Geraldine’s place when working in the area.

  • This apartment is superb value for money and such a lovely place to stay. Surrounded by paddocks and horses, tucked away on a quiet residential road, the bed is so comfy I didn’t want to leave it. Spotlessly clean with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Sharon is a lovely host and I really hope I need to visit the area for work again just so I have an excuse to stay here again!

  • I don’t know where to start, this accommodation is just wonderful! Clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a stay away from home. Lovely furniture giving a lovely warming feel to the property which is really important to me. Fantastic communication from Sharon with really clear instructions of how to find the Barn and the process of checking in and out. Excellent WiFi too. Stayed here with my cockapoo who also rated it with 5 stars! I commute weekly from Bristol to Bedford and since finding the Barn I have booked up as many overnight stays as possible for the next few months!

  • Fantastic accommodation, super comfy bed and really great value. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

    Lois2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A great place for a quiet stay, I was made to feel very welcome, as well as my dogs. The Barn was immaculately clean and was stocked with everything I needed for a stay (not food), but the milk in the fridge was extremely welcome. It was quiet, immaculately maintained inside and out, and a lovely flat 4 acre field to walk my dogs. I thoroughly recommend this place. :)

Cosy and modern small single bedroom in a lovely stylish home that's undergone complete renovation in recent years. TV, tea & coffee facilities in the room. Hanging space and bedside cabinet. Folding table. A separate digital shower just across from the bedroom. Off-street parking at top of the road, unless my car space is available. This two-storey house is situated in a lovely tree-lined cul-de-sac, which has been totally renovated in recent years and has a very fresh, stylish but warm feeling. Entry is by steps leading up to the front door. The hallway is small. The stairs to the bedrooms and shower room are directly ahead, and the lounge door is to the right. Downstairs is the lounge/dining room. Behind the tall bookcase is a small cloakroom. The kitchen is entered through the French doors. The garden leads on from the kitchen French doors. The garden is bathed in sunshine much of the day (weather permitting of course) and an ideal place for walking around or sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee.
My home is located in Rushden, England, United Kingdom I love my little leafy cul-de-sac. It's nice and quiet. There are some lovely nature parks and walks to enjoy. Rushden town is small but has everything you could want. Beautiful little pubs in surrounding villages. Rushden Lakes Silverstone race track Santa pod Karting Stanwick Lakes are all within half hour drive. Rushden Lakes development opened 2017, is a beautiful nature reserve and retail and leisure park which is only a short walk away. Here you will find several great restaurants, cinema under development, cycling paths, adventure playground, canoeing as well as House of Fraser and other retail shops. And if all that sounds too much fun, you could sip on a coffee at one of the cafes overlooking the lakes.

Beautifully stylish double room in contemporary home also occupied by Chloe the cat. Peaceful tree-lined cul-de-sac. TV, tea & coffee facilities. Car space in driveway although tight but can fit large cars and vans. 15-min walk to amazing Rushden Lakes Nature Reserve/Retail Park. Large Waitrose 10-min walk. Wellingborough Stn 10 min drive. Northampton & Bedford Stns 25 min drive. Buses from top of road to Kettering, Rushden & Northampton. Grocery store & Indian takeaway 10 mins walk.
Lovely bright and stylish double bedroom in a warm and contemporary home. TV, tea & coffee facilities in room. Compact wardrobe, dressing table and bedside table. Also for your convience, small table and folding chairs for dining or to use as workspace. Separate digital shower room just across from room. Single room may be available for additional guests. Car space in front driveway. If large car or van, it just requires a bit of manouvering to squeeze in, but it is easily done.
I love my pretty little leafy cul-de-sac. It's nice and quiet. Rushden Town is within 20-minute walk, with a beautiful old church at the heart of it. You can enjoy lovely walks in the local parks. We are also very lucky to be the home of Rushden Lakes - a beautiful nature reserve and retail park. A large cinema and leisure centre is due to open Spring 2019. But for now you can mix shopping with walking or cycling through natural woodland, sitting by the lakes or taking the kids for an active play in the playground. Northamptonshire has some outstanding green space and lakes to enjoy, so well worth a weekend visit with the family too! We are also surrounded by many beautiful villages and quaint pubs - worth exploring! Santa Pod racing track is about 20-minute drive - so another way to enjoy a great day out with the family!

  • Amar's home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, stylish and well thought out. This is an absolute gem......one of those ones you would like to keep secret to yourself, but I won't because it was one of those rare exceptional Air B & B's. Truly hospitable.

Room was so comfortable and I slept like a log, so much so that I ended up sleeping in late! I hope to be able to secure this room everytime I am working in Northampton 🤞

This ground floor studio apartment is based in a converted garage/barn. This is situated in the grounds of a three acre smallholding, overlooking the field with sheep grazing, this accommodation will give you a peaceful break in the countryside, whether you are taking a break, seeking accommodation for visiting relatives or on business. The apartment has its own discreet entrance but can be used together with the first floor apartment for a family of four as there is an inter-connecting door.
The apartment has a shower room and kitchen area complete with fridge, washing machine, table top oven/grill, kettle and toaster. The 3' zip link beds can be made up as 2 singles or as a super king. You just need to advise prior to arrival. A welcome pack of basic food items is provided on your arrival. There is a gas BBQ for use by guests and you are welcome to wander the large garden.
My smallholding is just one of a whole road of identical holdings which, at one time, form part of the Land Settlement Association, set up in the 1930s as market gardens . Whilst they were at one time identical they are now all slightly different, many with stables and horses . If you are a golfer, there are two courses within a few miles which are open to the public or for something more leisurely there is the Y spa at Wyboston Lakes. In nearby Eaton Socon there are two supermarkets, Aldi and Lidl, also restaurants.
  • Such a warm, welcoming place with lovely views over the countryside. Very calm and clean, and Anne had provided ample supplies so anyone arriving late would never be hungry or thirsty! Quiet and peaceful with a very comfortable bed, lashings of hot water, off road parking. Accommodation was of a high standard, and felt very safe.

  • Overall our stay was absolutely good. The room was great And the shower lovely. It was tricky to find and google sent us on a wild goose chase. It took us 1.5 hours to find when we were only 10 minutes away originally at a local golf club. The host wasn’t really keen to answer my calls when we were lost and seemed to prefer to text. But I did manage to get through after calling a few times. But overall, the setting lovely and no other issues.

  • This was an ideal little cottage with all that you need for a little getaway. The cottage was throughly clean with spacious rooms. The extra details added to the coach house made it feel extra special such as the water bottles, spare toiletries and TV choices. The breakfast was amazing and a real treat. You will not need anything else. Catered for all our needs. The location was great- ideal quiet village with everthing you need. Not too far from other places of interest. Strongly reccommend visiting Cinnamon -the local indian restaurant/takeaway. The staff are delightful and the food yummy! A definite recommendation if you like Indian cuisine. Overall a great location with so many things to do and see. Thank you to our hosts Chris and Emma

    Joseph2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures don’t really do this place justice, it’s bigger than it looks! And Emma & Chris were fantastic hosts. We had the (mis)fortune of being away during Storm Dennis, however this place was incredibly cosy and very, very toasty. It’s a well insulated building, despite the ‘barn-like’ structure. I wouldn’t worry about being cold, the heaters work very well. That being said, Emma still left the lovely touch of two fuzzy hot water bottles on the bed for us, just in case. The entire place is well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need and we were pleasantly surprised to find a very nicely stocked fridge! Emma had kindly provided eggs, bread, milk, butter, waffles, oats, honey, apple juice, yogurts, various cereals, muesli and a full fruit bowl. There were also teas, coffees, herbal teas and a coffee machine with various pods too. This quaint, yet cosy, little space is the perfect home away from home. We were stuck indoors a fair amount due to the storm but we actually loved being at The Coach House. My boyfriend and I would return without a doubt.

  • Wonderful place to stay you won't be disappointed. Clean, tidy and little extras ie; hot water bottles, breakfast and games.

    Steph2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy cottage - we had everything we needed - and a treat to have breakfast provided.

    Sheena2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, easy to get to. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted, quaint, tidy with full of special touches. The breakfast bit were spot. All in all if I’m ever in the area again I will be looking to stay there again

    Lee2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy, comfortable and very quiet. A delight

    Gavin2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy Coach house lives up to expectations. Very cute main sitting room, bedroom and en-suite. Kitchen very tiny, but seemed to cram in all that we needed. Low beam might catch out some[ I'm 6' 2" and it just touched the top of my head]. En-suite beautifully clean. Take some bedroom slippers though as the tiled floor in the En Suite was chilly in December. Bed really comfy and roomy. Very little in Grafham itself, [just what we wanted], although St Neots and Huntingdon not that far by car.

Situated in the historic, quiet and restful village of Buckden, Cambridgshire. There is a brief stroll to the three pubs on the High Street for you to eat and unwind, after you've arrived. Easy striking distance of Cambridge, Peterborough and Bedford for business and Burghley House/Horse Trials, Duxford Imperial War Museum, National Trust properties and a 6-minute drive from Grafham Water Sailing Club for pleasure. All backgrounds welcome - Smart TV, fast WiFi and air conditioning.
The studio is self-contained, spacious & welcoming. It is fully air conditioned, has super fast broadband, Smart TV and has its own entrance that is separate from the main house. The room has memory foam mattresses and can be configured in either twin or super king configuration. It also has a small kitchen area with double sink, microwave and refrigerator.
Buckden is a heritage village on the Great North Road and has a number of amenities including pubs, two small supermarkets, a Chinese takeaway, one of the biggest dress shops in the country and Buckden Towers. Buckden Towers, originally known as Buckden Palace, was an important residence belonging to the powerful Bishops of Lincoln. The first site at Buckden would have been built of wood. Around 1225 Bishop Hugh de Wells built a new house of stone. Today the Towers are a lovely Elizabethan complex of buildings that makes a wonderful sight next to the parish church next door.

  • Lovely studio above the owners double garage, filled with everything you need, with an incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress! Little touches such as the great selection of teas and proper ground coffee was a bonus. As someone travelling for work often alone, I felt incredibly welcomed and safe at Jeanette's, and was a lovely, quiet secure feeling neighbourhood to stay in. Would not hesitate to visit again for work or for a weekend away to explore the area!

  • This Airbnb was completely beyond our expectations. Deborah’s home is stunningly beautiful and spacious. She has thought of every detail to ensure our stay was pleasant. She provided a number of items to make sure we had what we needed such as water bottles, shower gel, toothpaste and mouth wash. She also kindly offered to make dinner and provided a delicious breakfast - fruit, cereal etc. I highly recommend. I’ve stayed in numerous places around the world and this is going to be one of the top places I’ve stayed in. Such good quality for money too. We also went for drinks with Deborah in a local pub. It was great getting to know her and her partner. Extremely friendly host. Thank you times 100!

Newly converted, neutrally decorated, cosy, detached stable building, suitable for one or two guests.
Directly opposite the church and only a 5 minute walk from the picturesque lake, Pied Horse Stables is self-contained living accommodation, situated in a large garden, away from hustle and bustle. It is a cosy, quiet retreat for one or two guests - there are two single beds which can join together to create a king-size bed. There is a kitchenette with a small oven with hob, a kettle, a fridge freezer, utensils, cutlery, crockery, glasses, saucepans, tea-towels etc. Selection of breakfast cereals and milk (soya, oat, or cow's), tea bags, coffee and sugar provided. Free Wi-Fi, chromecast and TV. We only use biodegradable bin bags, and environmentally friendly zero-waste cleaning products.
Grafham is a very friendly village, with a small pub, church, shop and a lovely Indian restaurant, aside from the lake. There is also a playing field with tennis courts for sporty guests. Three miles down the road is The Mermaid pub, which does fantastic food, cooked by a Michelin-starred chef. Grafham is very popular for fishing, sailing, cycling, hiking, running, and triathlon events.
  • I always seek out peace and quiet, with no noise from other rooms in the house or from neighbours (as that's what I go to get away from!) This place was the best yet! Exactly as in the photos and description. Also, lovely cats, and exceptionally helpful and kind hosts (they know what I mean!)

    Inga2019-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • I can certainly recommend staying at the Stables. Although the room is compact, it is spotlessly clean and the beds are cosy and comfortable. Rachel and her husband are very friendly and welcoming - apart from supplies of tea, coffee, cereal and milk - two small bottles of wine were also provided to help us settle in! There is a lovely garden where we sat and enjoyed our drinks. Grafham Water was a short and pleasant walk away down a country path which was ideal, as we were there for the Grafman triathlon. Great value for money.

Perfect for a peaceful relaxing getaway. Super comfy bed and beautifully decorated throughout. Karen was kind and very quick to help when the WiFi didn’t work-soon had it fixed within 5 mins. We were made to feel very welcome, they also left wine and snacks for our stay which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommended!

  • I had a wonderful 5-day stay for work at Karen's converted barn. Karen was communicative and left me some greatly appreciated snacks on arrival. The barn is cosy and well-equipped, including a table where you can eat dinner and/or work if you're in the area for business. There is easy access to the A1 but it's very quiet. The local tips provided were spot-on and the pub at the end of the road does great Italian food. I also took a tip from an earlier review - if you walk out to the end of the country lane, you can follow a public footpath along the river. Great for a run.

I have turned off instant booking for long term lets, but that doesn't mean I don't do them, I just prefer to have control over the dates with long term bookings, so please contact me if you are interested in a long term let and we can discuss it. The property is suitable for business travellers with it's excellent road links and dedicated workspace/study, families visiting the area or people in-between moving house and waiting for the final pieces of the jigsaw to fall into place. The kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils, the lounge has a vertical fan, a digital/smart HD TV, with Amazon Prime, Netflix, You Tube etc plus an additional Apple TV box. The master bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobes, a vertical fan, en-suite and blackout blinds in the en-suite and bedroom. The property is protected by CCTV for both our safety and peace of mind. *** Strictly no smoking through the property ***
