“If you enjoy wine tasting, here's a unique variation. Mead is honey wine, reportedly the oldest alcoholic beverage in the world. You get to taste 6 kinds of mead. Nani Moon Mead is locally-sourced and comes in several seasonal imaginative flavors, e.g. ginger spice, cacao moon and the locally popular spicy chili-pepper-laced Deeviant Beehavior. ”

“The Grand Hyatt is a short walk down the path from Poipu Point resort. We've tried all their restaurants, our favorites being the Ilima Terrace and the Seaview Terrace. Beautiful views with professional but easy-going service. We go there when we're in the mood for a more upscale meal, or we don't feel like cooking. Over the years we have also enjoyed the Hyatt's showstopper Luau, as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas Brunch - a real blow-out with amazing delicious buffets...”
