We just stayed overnight as a half way point on a long drive home. Post describes the home very accurately, still under reno but the main areas are done, clean, and comfortable. Great value! Would definitely stay again

Place was small and clean with a very comfy bed. Nice and simple. Got in around 1 in the morning and accidentally locked ourselves out but Jana responded to my message immediately with directions on how to get in. Great host.

This house was in a great location! We were able to walk and take very inexpensive Uber rides for dinner and a night out. We will definitely be back. Jana was an excellent host!

We had a great stay! Very close to many restaurants and bars, and a wonderful coffee shop! The coffee shop gives tours, which we absolutely would have done with a little more time! Close to the Royals!

Jana and Andrew are the most friendly, funny, considerate hosts you can have. I have stayed in their house multiple times while they were renovating it. The location is great, very central, 1 minute from the Roasterie and Boulevard brewery, and close from both Westport and Crossroads. They're still finishing the very last repairs but it doesn't get in the way. The bedroom is quiet and bed cozy. Recommended!:)

Very walkable area that is close to Downtown , Westport, Plaza, Ku med center. The best coffee house as well as mexican restaurants in KC are only a couple of blocks away. Fun stay as well as the best coffee I could ask for provided I love that it was dog friendly and I could bring my little shih tzu. He loved his daily walks in the neighborhood. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen with everything needed, breakfast and beverages provided.

Don't get the wrong impression from my review, I would stay here again .I only saw Brad or Monica briefly and they were very to themselves, of which I was disappointed since I make a trip to KC one a month and would like to know my host a little better if I will be in their home again. The room and bathroom are as pictured. The room was nice, the bathroom not so much but at least it was clean. Since it is rental property as are all the surrounding homes it is not well kept. Not sure this home has air conditioning but it was warm that night and there was no even a fan in my room. Would have likes some kind of beverage in the morning, even if it was tea or instant coffee. A bottle of water waiting in the frig would have gone a long was on the hot night. Don't be to surprised by the lock on you door as it is an eye & hoop latch and the door doesn't stay completely closed. I felt safe in the neighborhood and it is a short walk to the Country Club Plaza. All and all it was not to bad, I would stay again if there is AC. Will have to check that out.

As described. Comfy bed, desk, great wifi. Shower is old (as should be expected in an ancient house) but it worked just fine. Finding street parking was never a problem. No complaints from me. Brad was a very nice host. Would stay again.

It's a quiet location and near Museum.

Very thankful to Brad and his roommate for letting me stay for 4 nights. Brad was incredibly hospitable throughout my stay and I appreciated his openness and making me feel comfortable. I was able to be in and out and have a private room with a comfy bed and pillows. I would definitely recommend them as hosts.

Good room, exactly as pictured. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to connect with Brad. I did feel relegated to contain myself to my room.

This place is in a great location, but the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the bedroom was very small. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, however.

Beautiful secluded place with a really nice porch with mosquito screens on it ! Perfect , close to the stadiums gas station liquor store and express way , host is really nice and check up on you in case you need anything , easy check in and out , highly recommended .

This place is going to most likely be perfect for your needs. Loved my time there, and would definitely come back! The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, and has an environment where you feel secluded and private. Aislinn was very nice and made sure I was comfortable. Wish I stayed longer so I could've met her while checking out, but she'll definitely take care of you with anything that you'll need!

Aislinn was a wonderful host. I had planned on getting there from Dallas around 3 or 4PM and ended up getting a flat tire in the middle of nowhere with 200 miles left to travel. Needless to say, my schedule was WAY off at that point. She kept in touch with me and reassured me the whole time that this was okay and to just relax when I got there. Thankfully, she has a self check-in set up so I didn't have to wake her when I arrived around midnight, exhausted and thankful to have made it 200 miles on fix-a-flat. She even called her local mechanic and set up an appointment for my car. He was able to take care of my flat tire the next day for a very reasonable price. This was something she did not have to do, but took time to do it anyways, which I am very grateful for - specially since I am totally unfamiliar with KC! The only issue I had was with the hot water in the shower. The water only gets warm, but not really hot (at least, not as hot as I'd like). I was kind of disappointed in that, but it was a minor detail in the grand scheme of things and probably an easy fix on the hot water heater or something as equally simple to change if anyone else feels the same way. Everything else was great (the coffee and coffee maker were real life-savers after not getting to bed until 2:30AM). Thank you, Aislinn! Hopefully my next visit will be more timely and less stressful en route... :)

Aislinn is a good hostess. She responds quickly to messages. She accommodated my sudden need for an additional night. Her home is a 15 minute drive to the central business district, power and light district, crossroads, and hospital hill. The porch is lovely during nice weather. I also enjoyed the reading nook in the larger bedroom.

Cynthia communicated well before and during my stay. Great bed, quiet bedroom. She had great ideas for food, coffee, etc. Best for me: it was a very quiet house and neighborhood. Reasonably close to Plaza, Westport and downtown. All perfect for my needs.

comfy bed + fluffy comforter = great night of sleep. Cynthia was friendly and a wonderful host to me. Her home got a warm and inviting vibe to it. Upon arrival, I met Kiki the chief resident puppy right away, she is a big sweet heart. There are also two cats roaming around. If you are dog/cat kinda of person, this is the place for you. I have also met Jonathan and Bill, both are just as awesome as Cynthia. Her place is conveniently located in KC, I didn't have issues getting around the town, just wish I had more time there. I miss Kiki already. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

i had a wonderful stay. I booked my room just 1 day prior to arrival and I arrived a little late at night but Cynthia was very accommodating and she was in contact with me whole time. The room was just as described. It was clean quite and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cynthia's home is so peaceful, in a quiet residential area. The beds were spacious and comfortable. Cynthia had many great suggestions on what do to around the area and is a great conversationalist. My brother and I had a wonderful experience!

Cynthia was a great host who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The house is in a very safe and secluded area yet still extremely accessible to the city. Everything is exactly as described.

Cynthia was very amenable to my last-minute booking, and immediately sweet and kind. She is very hospitable. Her place isn't for every traveller, but definitely for solo and adventurous travelers. She is warm and inviting and such a dear sweet spirit.

Our host Cynthia took great care of us while visiting family in KC. She made us awesome oatmeal and coffee every morning. She was very accommodating in our in and out times. Loved Kiki. Super friendly and lovable pit. The cats were friendly too. Didn't spend a great deal of time hanging out there but was comfortable while there.

Lorrie's the best. We've stayed in other places in KCMO but we keep coming back here. The house is beautiful, the room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, we never run out of hot water, and Lorrie and her family are fun to hang out with (but never intrusive).

this was my second place at Casa Cordova, this time without snow! And the suite was cool and well ventilated similar to how warm it was during the winter... I can't really say enough about Lorrie, she worked around my arrival and departure which fluctuated erratically, and there is no way I return to KCMO in the future without booking this place. It is my home in my family's adopted hometown, so lie, my home at home... Muchos besos, Lorrie and Tony (and Henry, of course!), be well and see you again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief visit in Lorrie's historic home. The bed was very comfortable and the suite was spacious. It was perfect for us.

I was really enjoy my stay in Lorrie's place, roomy bedroom with a private bathroom, king size bed and an extremely cozy mattress, other stuffs are just like the description. It's very rare to have this level of room while the price is very acceptable. Whats more, Lorrie and Tony are really friendly and, I should say, knowledgeable, I had a really relax vacation there and learned a lot! I'll definitely visit them next time I visit KC, and I'm willing to recommend this place to anyone who wanna visit Kansas City.

The apartment is close to some great restaurants and bars and is spacious and comfortable. Joel is super helpful.

This apartment is great for an overnight crash pad for 3-4 people, but wouldn't be very comfortable for a longer stay than that because the bathroom was dirty. Great outside space for summer and decent walking location to restaurants in Union Hill (though everything closes pretty early around there).

Joel's place is in a great neighborhood and super close to a ton of cute coffee and breakfast places. He was very communicative and the bed was super comfy. We only have one day notice and he did a great job of accommodating us and our dog.

Place was awesome. It has pretty much everything I could have asked for! I have asked them for extra pillows which were provided by the host gladly. Bathroom was decorated beautifully. Plants were there all over. I would love to own apt like this :)

Very clean, spacious and stylish studio which offered us everything we needed and more! Hosts made it very easy to check in. Great location. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts even had little snacks and toiletries...a nice touch!
