Guest suite in Kansas City
AJ's Little Ranch Guest Suite in Hyde Park
Pass through the private entrance and into a lodge-like hideaway modeled on Ralph Lauren's famous ranch. Rich leather and warm wood finishing deliver a rustic-but-modern feeling. Watch cable TV or use your favorite streaming app via an Amazon Firestick from the comfort of the electric reclining luxurious bed. Guest will have all they need for a short weekend visit or an extended stay with a dedicated bathroom, their own fully functional kitchenette (with the exception of an oven) and a quaint area providing a worktop for eating or working. The guests will have exclusive access to the entire private suite during their stay. The host’s private residence is located just above the Airbnb unit and encompasses the remainder of the home. Guest are asked to remember that the yard, patio, porch, upper levels of the home and the locked storage portion of the lower level just adjacent to the Airbnb unit is unavailable to guests. The host will never enter the rented unit without gaining prior permission from the guest or in the case of a life-threatening emergency or a disaster related to the home. Guests can enjoy an autonomous stay with an optional self check in through a separate, keyless entry to the private unit. Although it allows for a carefree, independent stay, guests can rest well knowing their hosts are close by. In fact, they live in the same home, just above where the unit is located making it easy to get answers or receive assistance during their stay. The eclectic mix of grand homes in this historic Hyde Park neighborhood has an energized spirit that conveniently brings guests to the pulse of the City's heartbeat. Travel under 2 miles to sports arenas and the vibrant Power and Light District. For those guests that have a car, there is off street, well lit, covered parking just a few steps from the entrance. Streetcar - The Kansas City Street car is free and runs every 15 minutes between Crown Center and the River Market. The details can be found on the RideKC website. Ride share bikes - Public bike rental stations are available throughout the city. Information found at the KCbcycle website. Ride share scooters - For shorter distances or a fun way of sight seeing in the city; two ride share scooter options are available: Lime and Bird . To quickly get started and get further details, search for Bird or Lime apps on your smart phone in your providers app store. When guest arrive, they should pull in and proceed up through the stone walls on either side to the top to park under the covered carport parking space nestled within the wooden fence. After proceeding down to the lower level, guests will have exclusive access to the entire private suite during their stay. The property shares a common driveway with the home next door. Although they understand Airbnb guests will be staying in the unit, we ask that you be courteous and quiet when outside, parking or transferring luggage to the unit. Loft in Leavenworth
Follow Lincoln's Steps at Queenie's Loft in Leavenworth
Look out at the pristine City Hall with the Statue of Liberty and a bronze sculpture marking the city where Honest Abe visited just before announcing his run for Presidency. The original bricks and hardwood in this unique 170-year-old home have stood the test of time. Take a an elevator (or stairs) to the 2nd floor. Located in the heart of historic downtown Leavenworth, the First City of Kansas. Within a few blocks are several coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques, and bars. Located only 10 miles from the award-winning tourist town of Weston, which has many breweries, wineries, and hiking trails. You won't find this anywhere else! Original wide hardwood floors that were laid 165 years ago and the original brick walls that have stood the test of time. A view from nine windows that overlook our pristine city hall with the statue of liberty and statue of Abraham Lincoln. (Lincoln announced his run for presidency right there in Leavenworth!) And to think, he most likely walked across the street and came in our building as it was a saloon at the time! You will enter our loft from the street by keypad and there is a small room leading to our new elevator (big steel door) to take you to the 2nd floor. Directions for the elevator are on the wall. Very easy, just always close the white accordian door to elevator in case your party calls it from another floor. Your party is the only people who have access to this elevator. Check in is between 4 and 7pm. Please drop us a text if it is not in that time frame. Check out is 11am. Again, please drop us a text if you need more time! Mac and Stacy are always just a text away and can be there within 10 minutes. #913-651-7798. Text us with any questions! Ride a custom elevator to the open yet cozy space above the host's candle and gift boutique. The flat is a great base to explore KC, Fort Leavenworth, the county seat, and quaint Weston, MO. Shops, restaurants, coffeehouses, and bars are steps away. There is a large parking lot behind the building on 5th street. 65" tv, but we do not have cable. There is a dvd player, and you are welcome to hook your phone to the tv to watch your prime video, hulu, etc. That is what we do, and use the data from our phone or computer to display on the tv screen!
