Park
“This park is a great place to go walking, sit and people watch or stay fit and jog on the running path. It was built to honour the Emancipation of our people in 1834. The most remarkable feature at this park is an 11 ft. Bronze Sculpture built by artist Laura Facey of two naked male and female statues sitting atop a water fountain, representative of their triumph of being freed from slavery.”

Nature
“Tree top adventure attraction a 5 minute ride from no.8 Chillin. Be lifted through the rain forest on the sky explorer chairlift. Ride the bobsled or try the zip line through the tree canopy. Have a relaxing swim in the infinity pool or meal in the restaurant both offering an amazing view of Ocho Rios. There is also a tropical garden to meander around and souvenir shops Our girls (aged 7 and 11) loved this place once we had recovered from the thrill of the skylift and skimming the tops of the trees! The pool is fun and has a waterslide. ”

River
“ It's less touristy than other famous waterfalls, has a lot of things to do: - climb waterfall, - jump off waterfalls and various cliffs, - swimming in the river, - have waterfall massage - hike through the rainforest. Cost: 10 USD per person and you have a free guide. It's good to give tips to a guide after the visit. ATTENTION: don't hire guides in T-shirts "Tour Guide". They will be waiting for you before you reach the waterfall and they are scammers (!). Pay entrance fee and get a free guide instead!”

The grill is open 11am -11pm and serves delicious jerk pork, chicken, and fish. Scrumptious sides include yam, sweet potato, rice and peas, bammy, and festival friend dumplings and soup. ”

“This is one of the top 5 restaurants to visit in Ocho Rios. It is also on your door-step- a 5 minute walk! When you come out of the main gate, turn right and walk straight down. It is towards the end on the right-hand side of the road. The restaurant is on the sea-front.”
