Mehmet was a fantastic host. Very accommodating and always immediately communicated. His space is in a great part of the city, and it was clean, accessible and comfortable.

Great location, amazing food and vibe downstairs. We ate downstairs every night & enjoyed their wonderful company. Super friendly staff and help you any chance they can. The room is on top of the bar so at night it is a little noisy but we were okay with it. Really nice part of town. 2 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, the palace, museums, and other food options. The room was just like the photos! Clean and modern.

very nice place, Murat and his staff were very helpful and friendly. very nice view from the roof. 10 min walk to Sultanahmet square. 20 min walk to Grand Bazaar. At 6 am you will hear the callings to prayer...which woke me up on the first morning, but then I got used to them... hairdryer in the bathroom, water-boiler (for tea) in the room... thank you for a wonderful stay.

It is a very nice hotel, close to blue mosque and everything. Employes were very kind and more than helpful about any request. The room would be great even at a higher price, but at this point I was actually surprised.

The place is walkable from blue mosque and hagia sophia. Very pleasant stay here. Need to order breakfast from outside. All i like it here except i cannot get refund for extra one day i have paid.

I did not stay here, my parents did. I booked the place for them for two weeks, but after their first week they told me they cannot stay for another week and I have to find them a new place. They had some sort of miscommunication with the staff, but I cannot say anything against the hotel staff since I was not present and my parents do not speak English or Turkish.

5 minutes walk from Sultanahmet square/park. Restaurants and shops around. Lowest deal for comparable hostels in the region (Oct 2016). 24-hour reception. Very good deal!

I have stayed at Aleph hotel witj my family for one week and we truly enjoyed our stay. Mured and his staff are friendly and co-operative, they asissted with various queries. i defo recommend to other Aib&b users.

Very pleased with the location (5 minutes from bazard and the Blue Mosque), the studio (very correct). And the kindness Taner every morning and has even been able to book transportation to airport. I highly recommend.

Suleyman's apartment is well located within 4 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. Secluded and quiet from the hustle of Sultanahmet area. Suleyman's friend even waited until 30 past midnight for us to check in. Some hosts would charge you extra for that. Restaurants and shops are just 2 minutes walk away. Nearest public transport by tram is Sultanahmet, about 6 minutes away. Room was clean and equipped as per description. In short, nice place on a budget!

Great stay and great communication with Suleyman. It is possible to walk directly to many of the main sights from this apartment and it has everything we needed.

The apartment is located in the heart of historic Istanbul. 5 minutes to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The apartment itself is located away from the main busy streets. Very near to the little Hagia Sophia. On the way to the apartment to contemplate the beautiful lighthouse from the sea. In this area you can buy everything you want. Products can be taken directly into the small shops near the house. The apartment is cozy. A little cool. There is no general heating. Warms flat heater. We are satisfied with it. There were slippers. The owner graciously responded and brought two pairs. There were shortages wai FEMA, the problem has been corrected. Owners of the apartment with a friend we did not bother, were kind and helpful when we had questions. By the way, a little bit speak Russian. We enjoyed staying in this apartment. Perhaps we want to again :)

You usually have to choose between a central location, and peace and calm. Not here - a light-filled, private studio just off the beaten track with everything you'd need at a keen price, including grocery shops, restaurants, and even expert travel advice just downstairs. Thanks, Zeki and Suleyman!

Number 204: huge double bed, sofa, coffee table, mirror with stolikom.Polnotsenno equipped kitchen: oven, fridge, kettle, something similar to a waffle iron, crockery, including pots, pans, dining table with two soft benches .Gladilnaya doska.Po request for a minute iron was provided free of charge. In bathroom remodeling, good plumbing, the whole set of soap prinadlezhnostey.Voda is always with very good pressure. 5. Location - better not pridumaesh.Golubaya Mosque - 2 minutes peshkom.Takzhe in District 2 small minimarket, working late into the night. 6. Was pleasantly surprised by the good sound insulation, neighbors barely be heard. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the hotel mal- only 8-9 rooms, 2 rooms for etazhe.Pri this total is only one wall - the bathroom. 7. The rooms have no balconies, but there is a great sea view from the window, plus at the top has a small terrace, which is accessible from each guest. 8. The maid Fatma had a very warm priom.Nesmotrya ignorance angl.i the more Russian, spoken a fine with me and always tried pomoch.Zamechatelny people. 9. After the eviction of the rooms Mehmet allowed free to leave things in the hotel before departure. Overall, for the price, I think this is the perfect place to stay in Stambule.Bez doubt, will only come here and recommend this place familiar.

The room is just perfect and Mehmet is a wonderful host! The place is awesome, especially the view. The location is perfect and the room is very clean and cozy. There's a terrace with a lovely view to the sea at one side and to Sultan Ahmed Cammi on the other. I recommend the place to anyone who's visiting Istanbul!

I had a wonderful time in Istanbul and the apartment was perfect for the duration of my visit. The room was clean and very well presented. I was comfortable throughout my stay. Mehmet was a great host. He was very welcoming and gave me tips on what to visit and how to get around. It is clear that he really cares for his guests. Definitely worth visiting.

Great guy, great place, great experience!

I enjoyed my 2-weeks stay in Uğur's apartment. The place is located close to both metro (Yenikapi) and tramway (Aksaray) stations. You can easily reach Sultanahmet by tram and Taksim by metro. There's a grocery store next to the house. Wi-fi in the apartment is very good, I used it to work and had no problems with internet connection at all. Uğur is a great host, and he was always eager to help me with everything I needed. He cooks a very tasty Turkish omelet:) He also showed me a few cozy places in Taksim when we went out and reccomended where I could buy souvenirs at a low price. So I highly reccomend this place to everyone travelling to Instanbul, and, Uğur, thank you one more time!

Ugur wonderful and very friendly owner who cares about their guests and it is ready always help. His hospitality is beyond praise. very grateful for the excellent conduct of 9 nights and 8 unforgettable days in Istanbul. I discovered new places and places of this fascinating city. Thank you to all the Turks, to whom I addressed and who were always happy to help me! Wonderful people !!!! My arrival was late at night, Ugur came to meet me to the subway station. Several evenings were able to talk with him about the city, politics and so on. Interesting topics. Ugur pin and very friendly young man. Ugur is a great host, who always tries to be there for his guests even when he is a another country ;) He was very welcoming and more a friend than a host, even though he was really stressed, when I stayed here. i had a roommate with a completly different rythm than my own which was a bit difiicult in the beginning because turkish flats are usually poorly (URL HIDDEN) if you are a sensitiv sleeper, bring yourselve a sleeping mask and ohropax and you'll have a good time there! The area is more of a real turkish area, not the touristic center. But Istanbul is HUGE and from this place you can easily gor everywhere, because it's really close to important metro stations and the tram lime to the touristic areas is also very eas to reach. Therefor the area is cheap :) ugur takes care that the flat is clean. It's just a bit old, but still in good condition. I think it's thebest option you can find for this small money!

I booked 1 room for several days, and it's good location and so comvinent to go anywhere, there are 3 metro lines and 1 marmara ferry nearby there which walking by 10min. The room was good, easy to find. Ugur is working hard and talkative people, we communication no problem, except Turkish, English, also he is learning Russian, now we are friend. He is good guy.

We loved this cozy little apartment, the balcony we had breakfast at every morning! It may not be suitable for tall people though, the ceiling is a bit low but otherwise we enjoyed the place and the neighborhood!

Can's flat is well situated in Karakoy district not far from Galata Tower and therefore its bridge - there is a tramway stop at 3 min by feet + very animated narrow Streets ful of bars / fast food and even a carrefour market ! The district is well connected to the old city ! Very good experience

The hotel has everything you need for a short stay in Istanbul. It has no kitchen. That we have not even needed. Who should but need the is not recommended this accommodation. The location is really great. Near Karaköy located in Galat bridge to get anywhere fast. However, the area is similar to other districts more expensive. In the area you feel safe. And when you stand at parties then the clubs right down the alley highly recommended.

Can made us feel at home straight away. He waited for us in the apartment when we arrived rather late in the evening. He explained everything thoroughly. The stylish apartment is in the middle of a hip neighbourhood with many cafes, bars & restaurants. We did hear music on one night, the other nights it was quiet.

İ would like to say thanks to Can for being responsive and hospitable. He met me on the tram station so i did not struggle to find the place. The room is cozy, really fits to couples. The location is really convenient. Everything is in walking distance.

The apartment as per photos. Spacious and close to Galata bridge, Egyptian Spice market, tramway and an abundance of nice restaurants. I did not meet Can in person but his arrangements was very accommodating with me arriving at 02h00 in morning.

Uygar is a lovely host and his place made our trip to Istanbul way more homie and comfortable. I was traveling with my mom and I wanted her to experience local culture which no hotel would have possibly provided. The apartment is very cosy and feels like home. We had our privacy, but at the same time it felt like we were visiting a dear friend. Uygar was very attentive, considerate and knowledgable. Ive been to Istanbul many times, but he recommended places that I haven't been before and that my mom loved as well. Highly recommended!

If there was a 6-star option on the airbnb rating system I would have chosen it for Uygar's place. I have never felt so at home and relaxed as I did here. Uygar is the kind of host who immediately brings you into his circle of friendship. There is no awkward period of getting to know him, just friendship from the start. If you get a chance, try to be around for one his jam sessions with his friends (or ask him to set one up). You will be thrilled. The apartment reflects its owner: warm and comfortable. You're never far from everything Istanbul has to offer - cafes, bars, restaurants - and a short metro ride away from the tourist quarter in Sultanahmet. Highly recommend this place!
