KAREN'S PLACE..Lovely Home, Convenient Location
This was the perfect place for us to go to Indy 500 qualifications! Very comfortable and easy access to everything. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for providing a nice place to stay!

Updated Urban Living
Garrett's place was the perfect spot for our weekend stay in Indy! It was a great location with bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as a grocery store across the street. The home was small but perfect for just the two of us and check in with the digital lock made it super easy. The only small issue we could find is my husband is really afraid of bees and behind the home where you park there were homemade beehives. Not a biggie but just something to be aware of if you hate bees! The chicken coop in the back on the other hand was so fun and a cool surprise. Overall we loved our stay at Garrett's and will definitely be back next time we are in Indy.

Metro House -Walk to Mass Ave.
This place was perfect for me and my partner for a weekend get away to the pride parade! It was as described, well stocked kitchen and a very cozy atmosphere! only complaints are the bedroom door hinges were caked with paint so it didnt latch fully, the kitchen didnt have salt pepper or oil like the listing said it would, and the hanging lights on the side of the bed flickered slightly like a strobe light when turned on so we couldn't use them. (this could ne fixed by having the correct bulbs in the fixtures, the lights are on a dimmer switch while the bulbs aren't dimmer bulbs) Honestly not enough to take off a star but I felt worth mentioning. otherwise we have a great stay!

I had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the fenced-in yard was perfect for my dog to run around safely. The host went above and beyond! Great place to stay. We were in town for 2 Fever games and we were basically less that 30 minutes from everyplace we wanted to visit. We were also close to I-65, which is always a plus. King Bed - 1B/1BTH - POOL
Brenda and her place were amazing! The apartment was perfect for my boyfriend I for the week! It was in an awesome location, had great amenities, and it was a beautiful unit. The building is easy to navigate and the unit itself has everything you could need. Brenda herself was very friendly and happy to help with any issues we had (very quickly, too!) and made sure we were all taken care of. She was very responsive and accommodating. We would gladly stay here again.

Carrie is super responsive and we felt well taken care of. Highly recommend this spot! Great neighborhood and nearby park for walking. If we ever find ourselves in Indy again, we will try to stay a third time!

The Neighborhood Nook
Lovely flat in a lovely neighborhood. We were able to walk to restaurants and cafes and close to many sights. Melissa was a very flexible host and quite accommodating!

Your guide to Indianapolis
All About Indianapolis
Nestled amid Indiana’s beautiful green pastures and farmland, Indianapolis is one of the largest cities in the Midwest and serves as the state’s capital and cultural hub. Its streets are full of soaring skyscrapers, grand government buildings, and Art Deco masterpieces. A variety of vibrant murals add splashes of color to the urban landscape, and the riverfront promenade offers sweeping views of the White River. An eight-mile walking trail connects Indy’s cultural districts, a convenient thoroughfare for exploring the city’s top attractions without getting behind the wheel of a car.
Then again, cars helped put Indianapolis on the map. Just beyond downtown, you’ll find its legendary speedway, home to one of the country’s most famous motor circuits. People come from all over the world to catch a race here and visit the on-site museum. If motorsports exhaust you, Indianapolis and its surrounding area has plenty of green space to go around, including a handful of top-notch parks like Brown County State Park and Mounds State Park, where you’ll find well-marked trails full of locals hiking and biking in no particular hurry.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Indianapolis
Indianapolis experiences cold winters, hot summers, and mild temperatures in the spring and fall. Although the weather in Indiana can be extreme, there is no bad time to secure an Indianapolis vacation rental. During the spring, summer, and fall, you can take advantage of the walkable downtown and riverfront promenade and put some mileage in on the nearby hiking trails. In winter, the downtown lights up in a sea of Christmas lights, and you can go sledding on one of the many hills or lace up your ice skates for a whirl around one of the city's many outdoor skating rinks. Indianapolis hosts several city-wide festivals and events, including a lively St. Patrick's Day Festival in March, a celebration of independent film in April, and a world-famous car race in May with more than 50 events and programs. In August, the Indiana State Fair rolls out 17 days of concerts, carnival rides, and high-caloric snacks like deep-fried cheesecake bites.
Top things to do in Indianapolis
Conner Prairie Park
This fascinating living history museum, located in a northwest suburb of Indy, takes you back in time to the 19th century. Experience life in a small prairie town, learn about Indiana's role in the Civil War by visiting a recreated army camp, and discover how human-crewed flight became possible by riding in a tethered hot air balloon.
Monon Trail
Following the historic railway line that connected Indianapolis to Chicago, the Monon Trail is a 27-mile rail-trail that you can follow on foot or bike. The path takes you through residential neighborhoods, emerald green fields, and farmland and across brightly colored bridges as you make your way out of the city.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum
Located within the 2.5-mile oval track of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, this museum is home to the Indianapolis Speedway Hall of Fame and more than 25 winning cars representing more than a century of motor-racing history. Don’t leave without taking a selfie from inside a real race car.
