  • Space was great. Located just a few miles outside of town, we were able to walk to ShadFest along the canal towpath. Perfect rental for 2-3 people. Clean, well-furnished, and stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay there again

  • We had a very nice stay - cottage is cozy, and location is great, especially if you are visiting Washington Crossing State Park.

  • Our second time at the cottage...love it!

    karen2016-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing little cottage and surrounding area is very pristine and rural.

  • We had a lovely stay. The place is cozy and clean and the bed was comfortable. A close drive to all the shops downtown. Had Sunday Brunch at the Lambertville Inn, very good--must make reservations.

  • Marc was very accessible by phone and very friendly. The house is private with a good wifi connection. The kitchen is well equipped. We felt very comfortable staying there.

    Diane2016-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Marc's place was just what we were looking for and more! Very quaint and clean, the cottage had the great scent of Gain throughout. Staying here has even done so much as to spark some ideas for a cottage of our own someday. After reading a recent, slightly negative review, perhaps we have different ideas of what we were looking for in a host than some. While we did not meet Marc in-person (or even exchange words), this is not something we particularly needed to have happen. We value privacy and a quality location over host interaction. All of the directions and guidelines for the stay were clearly laid out and conveyed to us, and we did not have any issues or complaints whatsoever. We are most appreciative of Marc's allowing our stay and are keeping the location in mind for a future return trip to the area. Thanks, Marc!

One bedroom studio with private entrance and a spacious living room in a split level colonial in historic Washington Crossing. Located 34 miles from Philadelphia and 65 miles from New York City in the heart of colonial America, within 15 miles from Princeton. Washington Crossing State Park is practically in our backyard. Enjoy the outdoor paradise, history, beauty and serenity that Bucks County has to offer at this fantastic location!
We are located in a recreational wonderland: walk in the two state parks right next to our home, bike the Delaware Canal path (easy access behind the house), or go tubing on the scenic Delaware river. Spend a day exploring the history of the Revolutionary War, visit the art galleries of New Hope or attend one of the many cultural programs in Princeton. Have a romantic dinner in one of the many excellent restaurants in our area or go to Philly for to see a concert or theater.
Safe and quiet neighborhood, secluded but close to historic attractions and I-95.
  • Judit's place was roomy, comfortable and squeaky clean. She was very gracious and accommodating for any of our needs while there. The bed was extremely comfortable and she had a refrigerator and coffee station set up for us to use including bottled water. The location was great! We were able to go for a long walk every morning along the tow path for the canal which was a short walking distance away. We would definitely stay there again.

  • Judit was an excellent host and her place was better than described. Super clean and spacious. Great coffee!

    Stephen2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Judith is such a great host. And the private living area she provides is just perfect. I am in town for work over the next few months and look forward to staying here every week.

  • Beautiful spot with deer in the backyard!

    Penny2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The place was easy to find; we arrived late and because we were driving, the arrival time changed a few times and were greatful to find Judit very accommodating! The place was very clean; it's quite a large area that includes a sunroom (which our 2 dogs loved), living room- large with comfortable and plentiful seating and the bedroom ( bed and sheets high quality and very comfy). The location is outstanding! Lots of walking oportunities right off the back yard, large park with lake, and the towpath! Judit even watched our dogs one night so we can go out for dinner. She also made us delicious pumpkin cupcakes! Will definitely stay here again!

  • Judit is a great host. I have spent the last two weeks working night shift and staying at her place was perfect. Quiet but close to everything and Judit goes out of her way for her guests. I recommend staying with her 100%. I will be staying there again very soon.

    Washington Crossing, PA, United States

My quaint home is located a half mile from the Delaware River and Washington's historic crossing of the Delaware River. Feel free to use my bike on the front patio--the biking along the D&R canal is stunning, it makes for the perfect 7 mile trip to Lambertville/New Hope. I'm about 10 minutes from TCNJ, 15 from Rider, 20 from Princeton University.
I love my house because the street is quiet and the house feels like a cottage. The screened-in porch is one of my favorite spaces, or maybe it is my music room in the back of the house. You'll have the entire place--one bedroom, a pull-out couch, and a day bed in the back room. It technically can sleep six, but that would be tight, as my house is rather small (700 square feet). It's probably best for no more than 4 people. I hope you'll enjoy it.
I'm located less than a mile from Washington's crossing of the Delaware. The area is historical, quaint, and close to Lambertville/New Hope (which I'd highly recommend!).
  • My partner and I had a great time in this place. It was clean, comfortable and everything that is described. It is quiet and perfect for a relaxing get away. It is convenient to all that the New Hope area offers. I would highly recommend it for a stay.

    Rusty2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little place walking distance to the state park. We had a great stay. Thanks!

    Dave2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • David's home was precisely as described. Beautiful, charming, clean, and homey. Everything (and more)was where he said it would be. As we did not meet at check-in, he left a lovely, personalized note for us on the kitchen table, along with some recommendations for the area. Even through heavy rain, sitting on the screened-in porch was a great way to unwind with my husband instead of a cold, commercial hotel. This was my first time booking with AirBNB, and I am so happy that it was a wonderful experience!

    Rochel2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the best trips we have ever taken! The New Hope/Lambertsville/Newton/Titusville area is beautiful! David was an amazing host. We loved his recommendations and had a flawless stay at his house. Will definitely return!

    Christiana2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • David is a great host. His cottage is meticulously kept and very inviting, set on a street that is not at all remote yet feels secluded like a vacation home, with a bird feeder just outside the breakfast nook window and long-established shrubs and trees surrounding. It's a quick and scenic drive to area attractions. Highly recommended.

    Christy2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • David is the perfect host. He is very nice, responsive, and thoughtful. His place is clean, neat, relaxing, and very quiet. There are several beautiful towns, biking paths, and trails within a short 5-30 minutes drive. My family and I had a great time, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

    Paolo2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • David's place is on a quiet street in a town only 10 minutes away from the Lambertville/New Hope area. The house is very cozy and you feel right at home. The screened in deck is an awesome spot to relax and also houses David's bikes that we were allowed to use to ride along the D&R canal trail. The kitchen is more than fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, they even offered organic produce to us from the local CSA. I will definitely be staying there as opposed to a hotel!

Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families; pet-friendly.
Built in 1850 and has retained much of its originality, located in historic Brownsburg area and just 3 miles down the main road into New Hope / Lambertville crossing. Cozy and comfortable with two working fireplaces, wooden porch in back with rockers, tables and a fun porch swing. Peaceful and relaxing with views of the wooded park area. Large gravel parking area accomodates multiple vehicles.
Peaceful, yet just 3 miles south from the center of New Hope and all the wonderful shops, restaurants, bars and culture. Also, just a few minutes from Washington Crossing.
  • The house is charming, beautifully restored, and very neat and clean. The kitchen is well-stocked with plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery, coffee machine, etc. The back porch is lovely, large, and inviting. Guests should be aware, however, that the largest bed is a double on the second floor. There was also one twin bed on the second floor, and a twin trundle bed and single twin bed in the clean and bright (but low clearance) attic room. The mattresses on all of them were, unfortunately, very poor. Still, for a young family, this would be a suitable and lovely place to stay.

    Pamela2017-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this home in New Hope. We came to town for Halloween weekend, and the house was perfect. The house is in a quiet and residential area, but we didn't have much of a problem getting Ubers into town. It was exactly as described and Marc was helpful with any questions we had, and even allowed us to get in the house earlier than check-in. Would definitely return!

    Chelsey2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Marc's house was perfect for my friends and I who were in town for a wedding. It was spacious enough for all of us, clean, and a beautiful home. Marc was very accommodating and responsive if we needed anything. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay again!

  • This home is a perfect blend of old and new. Its located close by to the town of New Hope which was bustling with restaurant, vintage shops, boutiques. Really nice place to stay !

    Patty2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • As always, Marc's place is one of my favorite airbnb's in town. I think I've said it all before--5 stars.

    Dawn2016-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Marc's house is quiet and comfortable. Housecleaning was not in order when we arrived. Access to Tow path wasn't quite as easy or obvious as we thought it would be, but we accessed path at Washington Crossing and two great days of biking to New Hope an Lambertville.

  • I had to go back for another night and breakfast omelette. Quinn is great!

    Mark2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Quinn's home is in a pretty setting near the Delaware River and convenient to the New Hope-Lambertville area. While the room is snug for two people, it's perfect for the one night we were there, and a good value.

    Lori2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Quinn is so amazing. She is so welcoming and is knowledgable of the area; if you need to know where the closest grocery store is etc. I was nervous because I had never used airbnb before and I was staying for over a month at her house. I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed using airbnb. Quinn is great to talk to and is one of the hardest workers I know - she keeps the house very clean and tidy. I highly recommend staying at Quinn's house!

    Kelsey2017-08-13T00:00:00Z

  • Carol is a warm, welcoming host who opens her heart as well as her home to her guests. Arriving at her home is like finding a little oasis hidden behind beautiful landscaping. The inside was even better: the bathroom was beautifully decorated, and the bedroom was spacious and felt so much like a home away from home. Top it all off with a friendly, comforting atmosphere, and it's a rare gem of a find.

    Jemma2017-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • I decided to stay at Carol's house based on the positive reviews and I can confirm that they were all true! Much better than pictures and comments! The room is clean, spacious and private with a huge, comfortable bed. The rest of the property is as described, sort of a peaceful, clean resort - I especially appreciated access to the pool to cool off from the heat wave. However as nice as the physical surroundings are, the hospitality and warmth I experienced from Carol made my two week stay truly special. I quickly I felt like "family" and forgot that I was a temporary guest. I am so lucky to spend a wonderful with wonderful Carol and other family members.

    Zhang2016-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Carol's place is a beautiful home and has all the best amenities. She is a very kind and nice person as well as the house mates; they all are very supportive too, they can recommend where to go and what to do nearby. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet.

    Luis2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Used Airbnb for the first time and must say the experience was so satisfying. Carol's home is just as is described in the listing and maybe even better. Really felt at home throughout the stay with easy access to everything available at the house. Carol is a very caring person and made us feel really comfortable. She even treated me with a surprise gift, a lovely drive through Lambertville and a dinner treat. Definitely coming back whenever around the place. Thumbs-up all the way.

    Laura2015-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Once again we had a lovely stay at Carol's. I wouldn't go anywhere else in this area. The room is perfect, comfy and really pretty, so is the house, and Carol is a fantastic host. She made us a scrumptious breakfast, which set us up for a day of grueling medical appointments. I cannot thank her enough. I recommend her with five stars all around

    Sarah (and JT)2016-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Carol's airbnb for 10 weeks. Her home was lovely and always clean. Carol is very thoughtful and I would definitely recommend staying here. If I'm ever up in New Jersey again, I will absolutely visit her and stay here again.

    Philip2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb reservation and I had a very nice experience. Carol is a delightful hostess and the room more than met my expectations. After a long road trip to NJ, it was very nice of Carol to have dinner ready for me. When I return to the area, I will definitely book again.

  • This is a truly outstanding Airbnb. The house itself is lovely; spacious, airy, and modern (with an incredibly comfortable bed). Set in the countryside – just a few minutes’ drive from Lambertville – it feels like a true break from the city and guarantees quiet, peaceful tranquility at night. Arguably the best thing about it are Keith and Kim who are wonderful hosts. They know a lot about the surrounding area and can give you great tips on where to go and what to see. This is the perfect destination for a trip with a lot to offer, which is also relaxing. From here you can easily get to Lambertville, New Hope, Princeton, and Philadelphia. (If you do visit, it is worth looking at the bus which runs from New York Port Authority and drops you at the town’s entrance.) 5 stars: Highly recommend!

  • Cats are very nice (be warned if you have allergies). Loved the patio off of the bedrooms. You do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other so consider this depending on your level of privacy you want with your fellow travelers (when you book it you get both rooms on that side of the house). Breakfast was delicious - the omelet was my favorite. Shower was short so if you are taller it may be problematic (was not for me).

  • Our family had been in Pat's house for 35 days and we enjoy our time with Pat and David's family! Great time to live with the kind person. They are very helpful for all our traveling time. We must miss them.

  • Pat really took good care of us and our cats. She volunteered to baby sit our cats while we were away. This made things so much easier and stress free for us. Highly recommended.

  • What a warm welcome (and delicious breakfast!) we received at Pat's. It was like visiting family. Everything was clean and calm and Pat took time to chat with us and make us feel at home. She even let my son collect eggs from her backyard chickens. I would definitely recommend Fletcher House to other guests.

  • Pat's place was very comfy and relaxing! Pat took our booking at very short notice. She went out of her way to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable. Great coffee in the morning and nice conversation! The bed was very comfy!

Pat is the most excellent American host among my 5 times Airbnb experience in USA. She is very active and hardworking to prepare rich breakfast at 5:00 Am each day. She bought the rice cooker and electric kettle specially for our Chinese family... enough patience, polite to do everything for us !

  • The whole experience was wonderful! Richard was very accommodating, the house was lovely, the room was quiet and clean and the alpacas were adorable. The place is actually part of a bed and breakfast so we got some delicious pancakes and fruit in the morning, which was completely unexpected and fantastic. Lambertville is also a really cute town with lots of great restaurants. Highly recommend!

    Maryann2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Hospitality, comfort, breakfast ! Richard is very much there to offer a most pleasant stay. We sat by a warm fire wrapped in blankets ! We left feeling as though we had made a friend.

    Helen2017-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Room number 7 (the penthouse)...beautiful view of the place. Unique staircase to our room but loved it. We stayed at the inn for a wedding so didn't stick around long to appreciate the inn and all of its amenities it has to offer(which are a lot thanks to the friendly staff and Rich). Valerie helped us around and aided us in feeding the Alpacha's. If we are going to stay in the area again...this is my first choice without a doubt.

    Mike2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Inn is an excellent choice for a stay in this area. Pastoral setting and close to town. The historic site feels like what Americana should feel like - wholesome and charming, and pleasant as can be.

  • This farm is just a "little slice of heaven" perched on a high hill overlooking the Delaware River in Lambertsville, just across the bridge from New Hope. A great weekend getaway. Excellent breakfast was provided.

  • Loved our stay! Walkable to downtown Lambertville and loved the cozy fireplace and room!

    Tara2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The b&b and room were both beautiful; on a lovely grounds with majestic alpacas toward the back of the property. Richard and Frank were both very timely with communications and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was also delicious and in a beautiful dining room. There was a bit of a reservation snafu and it took awhile to check in due to communications issues between the staff, but it resulted in our room being upgraded which was a positive outcome. Unfortunately, there was barely any water pressure due to a well issue from the wedding the night before, so there was barely enough water to take a shower and not enough to flush the toilet. If that issue does not occur regularly, I would recommend this listing.

  • A great, if brief, visit to Susan and Michael. Their hospitality was second to none and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. The local area was beautiful, and we saw a family of deer! We didn't realise they were so close to Washington's Delaware Crossing point and to New Hope and to Lambertsville; two quaint small river front towns.

    Sheelagh2017-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay with Susan and Michael. The house is beautiful, huge and charming, filled with art work and interesting memorabilia. We stayed in the downstairs area, which was like having our own apartment, w a kitchen, bathroom and even a gym. Susan and Michael are kind and gracious hosts, and will make you feel right at home. I highly recommend this lovely home, which is convenient to many attractions and a great value as well.

  • Susan and Michael were great hosts! They were warm and inviting, communicated really well with us, and were very friendly, even inviting us to come upstairs for wine (we were too tired though!) They were also very accommodating of my 2 year old nephew that was just obsessed with their sweet dog Posey. I texted them at 8:30 pm because one of the sensors was making a beeping noise, and they came down immediately to resolve the issue, so were beyond attentive. The amenities were wonderful, just wish we had had more time for a swim in that pool! Great hosts and great stay!

  • Quinn's home was perfect. It was conveniently located for work & pleasure in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Her home was very warm and welcoming and I really enjoy my extended stay. I didn't see Quinn often, but when I did she was very friendly. Communication was great! I would absolutely recommend her place and would stay there again. Thanks Quinn!

  • Beautiful home and very welcoming host. Quinn had thought of all the little details to make us feel comfortable in her home, even getting us treats for the morning. House is well set-up with everything you might need. We enjoyed the easy access to the trail along the river and easy walk to a restaurant just down the street. Was a great place to spend a few nights!

  • I really want this to be a fair review. I have only stayed a few times in Airbnb so I don't have a lot of experience. I did feel that this house in particular was very outdated and although it was noted that there are other people living in the house and felt very creepy to open the door of my room and see someone sleeping in a bed with clothes and messes all over the room on the door wide open. The house description and the area was just average compared to what they stated. It was a very plain dingy room. Although clean it just felt like they could've made some kind of effort to put in a pretty pillow or make the room look nicer. The communication was excellent . I would not come back to this house.

Feeling more energetic, bring your bikes and ride north to Stockton along the river or south to Washington's Crossing and stop at the Golden Nugget Flea Market along the way.

  • This home is beautiful and just a 2 minute drive to the center of town. The room was very clean and private. The bathroom is outside the room but still private. Keith was very nice and responded to questions immediately; he also left us alone for our private weekend. As said in another review; “the perfect balance between helpful and private”... we will definitely stay again. Thanks Keith.

  • Beautiful house and property with relaxing pool. Five minutes drive to Lambertville/New Hope downtown. Keith and Kim are great hosts - friendly and thoughtful. My dog loved having a backyard to run around (city dog!). Would definitely stay there again when in the area!

    Annie2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts, a very nice home with two lovely rooms, and a really cute dog. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

    Volker2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Keith and Kim were amazing hosts! As a previous reviewer has noted, they truly mastered the balance of privacy/attention to guests ratio. They gave great recommendations for things to do/places to eat in the area and were a joy to speak with when we were all in the kitchen together. They even bought and shared bagels with us the Sunday morning of our trip. That was very much appreciated! They have a beautiful home and provided all of the essentials. The bed was very comfortable and all of the linens were clean and fresh. There is a keypad on the door so there is no need for a key exchange. Having a private bathroom was a must in our search, and it definitely checked off all of our boxes. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower and even had Tums, Advil, and Tylenol in the medicine cabinet. That was a very nice touch to see. We had the first floor bedroom which is pet friendly. They had poop bags and treats in the room for us since we had our dog with us. Their dog Ruby also got along well with our dog. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this Airbnb to anybody looking to stay in the Lambertville/New Hope area. It was a little out of town, but it was only about a five minute drive. It was perfect for us since we live in the city and were looking to unwind and relax for the weekend. The only caveat I would say is that I didn't get good cell service in the house and the wi-fi connection was spotty. This was perfectly fine for my partner and me since we were looking to unplug, but it could potentially be an issue if anybody is looking to get work done while they are away. The connection was fine in the kitchen (a common area in the home), but it was spotty within the room itself. Thanks again to Kim and Keith, I would have to say that this was probably my best experience on Airbnb so far.

    Adam2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great location -2 minutes from Lambertville and across the bridge from New Hope. 1930s totally remodeled home. I had the room on first floor with private entrance, private bath. My dogs were welcomed and enjoyed their stay. I Highly Highly recommend this B n B. Everything was provided and was not disappointed in anything. I would certainly stay there next time I am in the area. Keith and Kim have perfected the privacy v attention to guests ratio.
