  • We had a lovely time at the Cartshed. The house is very spacious (great for a family of 4), well designed and well equipped and the location is great to drive around to Hereford and explore the countryside. Brigid was very welcoming and discreet. Overall we had a great time and would love to go back and explore more of the area.

  • Place was very cold and heating was not adequate. Shower fell apart as soon as used. We felt the cottage was a lot smaller than shown.

  • I was made very welcome by Roger, who offered me a cup of tea on arrival and showed me my room and facilities. The house was as neat as a whistle, as clean as new pin, and pristine ion every respect. Not a speck of dust or even a cat hair from the lovely pet cat. The description lived up to its hype, indeed a modest description of a beautiful home, beautifully furnished. I did not see much of Roger, but that was fine, he left me coffee-making stuff in the morning. Very highly recommended, and very convenient for the city centre. Peaceful too.

    PETER2015-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Roger has a lovely house in a perfect position – we enjoyed exploring Hereford and Roger was very knowledgeable about the city. The house was clean and comfortable and Roger was a great host who looked after us very well including good breakfast.

  • Roger's house was beautifully clean and pleasant and he was so welcoming and helpful. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. A newly decorated bathrrom with great shower and gorgeous fluffy towels! There is parking on the street outside and we managed to find a space every time we needed one. A marvellous stay! Amazing kind and thoughtful host. Thank you Roger

  • Really great value place to stay near the centre of Hereford. Would recommend to all. Roger was charming and very helpful.

  • A perfect stay, Roger was very helpful and welcoming

    Jo2015-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Roger was a very accommodating host, who provided everything that we needed. His house was very well kept, clean and tidy. Although the main photo may suggest the house is in a slightly different area of Hereford, the interior photos were very accurate. We found it a very convenient area to stay in, a quiet residential street.

    Louisa2015-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • We have just had an excellent stay at Roger's house. Roger's house is on a quiet street in Hereford, within easy walking distance of the cathedral and the city centre. Roger was very welcoming and helpful. The house and facilities are top notch and were exactly as described. As other reviewers have said, the rooms are spotless but are also very homely and comfortable. We found all the beds to be super comfy. My wife Lucy particularly points out how nice the bathroom is! Roger's breakfast was fantastic!!! Lots of lovely food to set us up for the day. Thank you very much Roger... we will definitely be back when we are in Hereford again. Simon, Lucy and Matilda

Tea/coffee making facilities in the Suite.

We love the 'village green' in front of our house and its proximity to the historic City with all its amenities. We have a file of places to visit and things to do in and around Hereford and are happy to suggest places to eat. We are approximately one mile from the centre of the city, a walk of 15 - 20 minutes.
  • We had a warm welcome from Jayne and her partner at the pre-arranged time and were even treated to a glass of wine after our long journey from Scotland. This was most appreciated! They could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was entirely self contained and you can come and go as you please. All the bed linen, furnishings and comfy sofabed were top of the range . The accommodation has tea making facilities and an ensuite shower (URL HIDDEN) Continental breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend Jayne's lovely home .

  • Jayne made us very welcome and was very helpful for any question we had. The garden suite was absolutely great! Everything you might need was there. It's very modern, clean and stylish! Breakfast was excellent too. All in all a wonderful stay, I would definately recommend it to anyone staying in the region.

  • The accommodation was absolutely great! Very clean and quiet, looking out over the immaculate garden. Jayne was a very friendly host as well. We really enjoyed meeting her, and hope to return in the not too distant future!

  • Very warm welcome from Jayne and Stan, the annex was comfortable and in a quiet location. Nice shower facilities, TV and wifi, coffee and tea available in the annex too. As someone who always struggles to sleep in a strange bed, the only thing I would change is to have a proper bed rather than the sofa bed. That aside, the continental breakfast was great and I'd definitely stay again the next time I'm in Hereford.

    Mark2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jayne is a fantastic host, the accommodation is 6 star. Tea making, toiletries, bath robe, radio, TV. Everything one could possibly need was provided Separated entrance. Really nice breakfast available at flexible times. Off street parking

Sweet wooden Shepherd's Hut in the garden of our large Victorian House. Comfortably appointed with double bed, seating and verandah. We rent on a bed and breakfast basis with breakfast served in the riverside conservatory.
Gorgeous newly built wooden Sheperd's Hut called Dolly (we think). Our guests share a bathroom with shower and loo in the main house with the family.
  • We were warmly welcomed by Polly, lovely Meg and cute Bea in the parking area, felt at home immediately. Meg is a very caring and sensible girl, took care of guests and especially our baby. Warmth and friendliness are the key words of this family. Our annex room was very very comfortable, very good bed. The house is central located but quiet, great location. Polly is a great chef, the breakfast was just super, the mushroom is the best ever we have ever tasted. May I have the recipe please???

  • I stayed at East Friars during the Hereford 3 Choirs Festival. I stayed in the annex bedroom which suited me perfectly, my husband and son visited for a couple of days, there was plenty of space and a trampoline! We were looked after by polly's sons Sebastian and Felix - and another very helpful lad called Jamie. The boys could not have worked harder to make our stay perfect, the breakfasts were utterly delicious, nothing was too much trouble (always offered a cuppa on returning to the house after a hard days rehearsing) and the place was kept in tip top order! I felt very relaxed and at home here and very happy - such a beautiful house, conservatory and great view of the river - and above all an amazingly warm atmosphere. I highly recommend East Friars, especially if you are a sociable person like me! All the best, Karen

  • Incredible place - beautiful house and surroundings, very friendly and welcoming hosts, delicious breakfast! We actually stayed in the annex, as the shepherd's hut was unavailable, but this worked out better for us anyway. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Polly and her lovely home.

  • We loved our stay here. After a long days canoeing, we were very glad to see the pontoon outside their house, which made everything so easy. And the comfy bed and delicious breakfast set us up for another day on the water.

A lovely light airy garage conversion completed in summer 2017. Ensuite shower room. Free parking, easy walking into city centre. River Wye walks very close and public swimming pool and gym across the road. Electrical car charger half a minute away. Kettle and toaster and small fridge in place. Use of the garden in fine weather. Host lives on site.
A garage conversion of good quality and unexpected space. Comfortable and warm.
Right opposite the house is the local Swimming Pool which incorporates a well equipped gym. Next to us in Bishops Meadow are tennis courts and putting green. Unfortunately only available in the summer. There are many gardens and houses open during the season. Recently I did a half hour walk from the house, passing over the Victoria Bridge up to the Castle Green, on into the city, and past town hall to the Old House. Then returning through the Cathedral grounds where I observed Elgar resting with his bicycle listening to the trees, and possibly services from within the Cathedral. Recrossing the River Wye over the Old Bridge taking in the views upstream and downstream . How lucky to have all that on my doorstep. There are also many cafes and restaurants to sustain you during your stay.
  • Maggie was a lovely host, the accommodation was in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay!

    Phil2017-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • What you see is what you get - a simple room in a quiet neighbourhood. Sadie is polite and efficient - it's not the most interactive AirBnB experience I've had and I certainly wouldn't say that it was standout in any regard, but it was perfectly serviceable. I have no reason to not recommend this place to those wanting a quiet, private stay in Hereford.

    Felicity2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • The location is a short walk away from the center of Hereford, and was a great base for a shorter period of time. I had no complaints about the whole weekend and would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Sadie's room is in a quiet domestic area, her towels are super fluffy, good speedy wifi & shower. Was super helpful about my late arrival & would book again.

    Ian2017-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great and clean place at Sadie's, she was quite busy that half a day I stayed but I enjoyed to stay at a comfy home that evening. I didn't expect it to be this far from downtown, took me an half an hour to walk to the cathedral, but the prize fitted that.

    Sigridur2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is AirBnB Spartan-style. Only a clean bedroom and bathroom for amenities. Wi-fi flawless. If that's all you need, the price is right. Located in a well-kept ~1950s housing development, it's about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station and downtown. There is a long-term boarder on premises, who couldn't have been more friendly and polite. I saw the host only once for a few minutes over my two-day stay -- she has a busy life -- but her e-communication was always swift, and she was accommodating on arrival and departure logistics.

A large, comfortable flat within a lovely Edwardian house. Just a 25 minute walk to the city with outstanding views of Hereford Cathedral and the Welsh Mountains. Home from home, a great place to explore from or just to relax. There are two bedrooms. One has a king size bed, the other has twin beds that can zipped together to make a 6ft bed. There is also a pull out bed in that room suitable for a child or small adult.
Everyone is welcome, we just ask that you remember that it's a shared building. The kitchen/diner space is great if you want to cook and eat in and there are some good restaurants and country pubs in and around Herefordshire. There is also a small balcony which is a lovely place to sit on a summers evening. Children are very welcome if they are well behaved and not too noisy but at the moment we don’t have cots etc. There is a small pull out bed in one of the rooms. We are happy to except small dogs if they are 100% house trained. (The flat is fully carpeted) There is a park close by for walks. We have a spare crate and dog blankets if you need them.
The neighbourhood is residential. There are a couple of shops and a park in walking distance. The city is 25 mins walk where there are lots of cafes and shops. The surrounding countryside in Herefordshire is very beautiful, there are lots of small towns and villages along with hills and mountains to visit.
  • This is a beautiful flat that has been renovated to an extremely high standard. It was a real treat to stay somewhere so luxurious. The hosts were also fantastic. Can’t rate this place highly enough.

  • Fantastic style, gorgeous vintage decor items. Everything felt luxurious and very high quality. Basic items in the kitchen upon arrival which is always very helpful. Gorgeous log burner in the living room. Helen was welcoming and friendly and her response to messages and booking was extremely quick. We didn’t want anywhere near the centre (shops, restaurants) so the location was totally perfect for us.

This is a Kingsize room, with a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. You also have tea and coffee available in the room. I also have 2 other bedrooms available, one with a double bed and one with a single.
The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. There is a child's playpark next to the house which is ideal for families, but still doesnt disturb the peace of the home.
  • For the price it is excellent value for money.

  • Such a lovely place to stay, a beautiful room. Amazing value and Karin was a cheerful and welcoming host. Thank you!

    Laura2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Whilst we stayed at Karin's they were away, so we had the house to ourselves, however Karin was very helpful and good at responding to queries, she even gave us a number for her friend in case we needed anything. We had access to the bedroom and the shared bathroom, which were lovely, very clean and well decorated. The heating was on so it was nice to come back to after a cold winters day. I'd say the only thing that we could have wished for is a social area and a small kitchen, so that we could have cooked for ourselves, but obviously this was not part of the deal when booking. Karin provided plenty of tea/coffee, she had also created an information sheet with a short route into the city, nice places to eat etc. The location was about a 5/10 minute walk into the city centre, easy to find, there are also many cycling and walking routes near by.

Fantastic location in the ancient city of Hereford. Moments away from the City's beautiful Cathedral, fantastic choir, Chained Library and the world famous Mappa Mundi.
Very light and airy studio, all mo cons, own door and gated parking, with gardens running down to the river Wye
We are two minutes walk from the Cathedral, from where you can wander down the medieval Church Lane, past all the independent shops and reach High Town; or instead saunter past the Castle Moat to to the Award winning CAMRA pub, The Barrels. Down stream you can amble along riverside through fields of cattle, or up stream passing the rowing club in the direction of Wales. To reach the City's Leisure Centre with its gym, pool and tennis courts, cross the Castle Green over the Victoria Foot Bridge into the Bishop's Meadow. Why not bring your own bike and head out to the visit village churches with their stained glass windows and welcoming local country pubs. A perfect base for exploring the City, and local areas of Hay on Wye, Ludlow, Ledbury and Malvern Hills, also within striking distance of the Welsh Marches.
  • Elizabeth and her son Toby were two of the warmest, most hospitable hosts I have had. I grew up in Hereford so can confirm that this is an ideal, central location for those new or familiar with the city. Having a fully-kitted kitchen was ideal and there was even bacon, eggs, bread and cereal in the room for breakfast. Highly recommended.

    Daniel2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is a delight, and the photos do not do the place justice, beautifully decorated and contains everything you need. The location is perfect, quiet and peaceful near the river wye, and the center of Hereford a five minute walk away. Elizabeth is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome, even left us delicious homemade bread and marmalade, and other breakfast items. We felt very looked-after and welcome, would highly recommend Elizabeth’s place :)

  • Absolutely beautiful house. We were a group of friends attending a wedding in the area and wanted to stay together rather than in a hotel. The house is absolutely stunning with tonnes of room for us all. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you may need. Communication was great and Peanut was no bother :)

Double bedroom in Victorian house, Use of shared bathroom, but two toilets! Set in quiet street, parking available, nice south facing garden. Tea making available in room, plus continental breakfast for £5.00 and a cooked breakfast for £8.00 each if requested.
We live in a roomy old semi detached house with a south facing garden at the front. The garden is a great place in the summer as we get the sun all day long and guests are welcome to sit on the patio. We also have a Bollywood style summer house to chill in!
Quiet road at the front of the house, ten minute walk to the river, two minutes from fields and cows and fifteen minutes walk to the town with shops, cafes, pubs, cinema, theatre and restaurants. There is a nice walk near us through the park, along the river to town. We are not far from the cathedral and there are now lots of great places to eat and drink in Hereford, such as the Koffee Pot which serves food and drink at night and often has live music. We also have a local pub two minutes down the road from us which does food in the early evening. There is a Chinese takeaway just across the road and a very nice Chinese restaurant about five minutes away. We are happy to help with maps and advice about what the town has to offer.
  • Very hospitable and welcoming hosts combined with a comfortable homely room. Recommended

  • Lindsay was the perfect host! The house and room was exactly as descibed; all very comfortable and clean. Lindsay was very welcoming and even offered to walk me to the hospital where I was working so I could find my way and be on time for a job. When I returned after a tiring shift Lindsay's husband Steve made me a cup of tea which was just what I needed. They are both lovely people... very friendly, interesting and comfortable. For a very reasonable charge, Lindsay also provided breakfast for me in their lovely homely dining room. The house is within walking distance to town, the train station and the hospital, and the street is quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Our fantastic family home is a lovely place to stay whilst visiting the lovely city of Hereford. It is perfect for a couple, small family or a small group of friends. The house has two comfortable double bedrooms, a large kitchen/dining area and cosy living room
We hope you enjoy our treasured home as much as we do! We have done much of the work ourselves and the house has a homely feel full of character and stylish charm! The front room is free for use to cosy up in with a book or in front of the telly, the kitchen dining room is a lovely space to cook and socialise, there is a downstairs shower room and toilet for the basement room guests. Access to the garden is passed the bikes and bins just outside the kitchen- sorry about all the bits and bobs on your way (we do not have a garage so it is the only place for it all!) but once you are in the garden it is a real sun trap and a lovely place to sit with a drink and relax! In the kitchen a staircase leads you down to the spacious basement bedroom. The upstairs bathroom on the first floor has a bath and shower and another staircase leads you to the second floor where their is a light attic bedroom. Please be aware that this is a home and is rented accommodation so would love you to treat it as you would your own home! Most of all we want you to enjoy staying here and make staying in Hereford extra special!
St James is a popular area in Hereford and a happy and friendly community! We know our neighbours well and our street is quiet at night as there is little traffic! The down side is parking can be tricky but if there is nothing on the street you can usually pull up outside to drop off bags and then there should be something in the area close by, it is parking permit area Monday to Saturday (8-6) so you will need to ask us for our guest permit if you choose stay and are not taking your car out during the day. The pub is just over the road on Harold street and is a true local with pub grub and a little garden. The corner shop has most things that you might need - apart from decent fruit and vegetables! You'll have to venture into town for lovely fresh stuff! The walk into town is so lovely if you pop down Nelson street opposite the shop, walk up onto castle green, with the river wye on your left, pass the memorial and follow signs for the cathedral you will then reach the town centre.
  • A lovely large town house only 10 to 15 minutes away from town (depending on what end of town you're after). There are two bedrooms available for guest use: A cellar bedroom downstairs from the kitchen, which I'm told is very nice. And an attic room, which is also nice, just watch your head if you're using the wardrobe. Better for people of the less tall persuasion. There's a comfortable living room, a very spacious kitchen and 2 bathrooms, with the one on the middle floor being my favourite. There is a garden too, though I was the only one who ventured out into it, as there was an array of the host's things out there at this time. It was nice to enjoy the sunshine in though. There's a corner shop right round the corner, and a pub about a minute's walk as well. We gave it a look in and it was good for food or drink, though pricier for beer than some other pubs in the area. But you also have as I said town in walking or cab distance A little pro-tip: If you arrive on a sunny day like we did, the attic can get very warm. If that's the case, you CAN either open the sky-lights (all of them open) to get some breeze in, or else close the shutters on the skylights to stop the sunlight coming in. As first time AirBnbers, we were a bit out of place at first. If this is you, I recommend walking the whole of a minute round to the corner shop, picking up a few supplies of your own and within minutes, you'll begin feeling right at home. By the time we had our things in rooms and started planning our weekend, everything was underlay and we had a lovely time here.

  • Hannah’s house is absolutely wonderful. It might appear small from the exterior but inside it is very spacious and exudes such warmth and homeliness. It felt we were literally going from home to home. It was very simply but tastefully furnished and her creativity just shines through. Hannah always responded promptly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much. We slept downstairs in the basement room but it was ample in size, and again the decor was lovely. My husband didn’t have a problem with the height of the room. Thanks Hannah!

    Winnie2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect place to stay. Plenty of space and everything spotless. Hannah made us feel most welcome in her stylish home. To be recommended.

  • This is a great place to stay, clean, comfortable and welcoming in the heart of the city and just a stones throw from the river.

    Glenys 2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely family home in a very good location, 10 mins walk into centre of town, very clean and well maintained. We would recommend that if a parking space is available in the next one or two streets nearest the hou it maybe easier to park, however this is a very minor problem. Will defentantly use again when visiting our family, highly recommended

    Mark Caroline2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah was very thoughtful about being in touch before the trip, which was much appreciated. The two rooms we used -- one in the basement and one in the attic -- were both clean and welcoming. They were a good distance apart, especially as our daughter stayed in the attic room and we in the basement, but that did not prove to be a problem. The big kitchen was a nice place to have dinner as a family, and the garden was a lovely place to enjoy the sun. The house is very nicely located for access to Hereford city centre and also walks along the Wye and down towards the playing fields south of the river. A parking permit for the street/local area made finding a parking spot close by easy. Thank you very much!

  • Good value accomodation with a very helpful and amenable host in Magdalene. It is located reasonably well for me a short drive to work and relatively easy to find. I was a little tired from my journey and day at work so did not explore anywhere. Parking was available on road about 10-20 metres from property it is a fairly busy road but noise free. You’ll love my place because of the location. It is very quiet with amazing country views overlooking the River Wye towards the hills of Dinedor and Aconbury, yet is only 10 minutes walk to the City of Hereford and its Cathedral, art scene and cafe culture. The room I have is on the ground floor with a shared bathroom on the first floor. It is very spacious and has a desk and chair, and a tv.
I have been told that my house feels like home to everyone who stays, which is really nice to know.
Broomy Hill is a much coveted area. People tend 'not' to move away from here. It is both quiet and accessible to the City and to riverside country walks. Best of both worlds.
  • I had a very pleasant stay at Carole's house. I was welcomed as I would be in my own home, and would definitely recommend visiting.

  • Caroline made us feel so welcome and by the time we left the next early morning we felt as if we knew her and would see her again one day for sure! The house is really lovely, it's a home and you really feel it. I slept so well and had some wonderful conversation with Caroline. She has such an interesting life and is knowledgable about a wide range of places and issues. It's a great place to stay and the location is lovely as you're near the beautiful Hay river and the river path that leads you back round into the old town. It's also only a 15-20 minute quiet walk from the railway station. Caroline was so kind in giving us a lift back into the station the following morning and saw us off as old friends. We loved it.

  • The accommodation was in a good location just a short walk from the town centre. The room had a really comfy bed and was bright and sunny as advertised. Caroline was great fun and we felt very welcome in her lovely family home. Excellent value for money with a great cooked breakfast.

  • Caroline and her family made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my week stay, it felt like home from home. It's very difficult to suggest how things could have been improved because I had a wonderful stay. Their home is full of character & a magical charm you don't find often. The location was perfect for my stay, close to the amenities of town yet still quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. I feel lucky to have found this gem & will certainly return.

  • Caroline is a bubbly and kind host and her home is perfectly situated for exploring Hereford.

  • I had a lovely time at Caroline's and Stephen's house! They are people who make you feel good just being around them, they have a lot of positive energy and are very generous and welcoming. The room and bathroom was very nice and the bed very comfortable, I slept very well every single night! Hereford is lovely and I had a wonderful time at Three Choirs Festival.

Small double, in a family home at St James Hereford. 5 mins walk to town, the Cathedral the hospital and the Barrels Pub. 5 mins to the river and meadows. Mix in with our family including 2 cats. Breakfast, Cereal ,Toast O/J maybe on a self service basis.
A fairly quirky room on the same floor as the bathroom, with a good shower above the bath. It is a hectic household, lots of people coming and going, always someone ready to chat but if you want peace and quiet and don't like mixing this is not the place for you xxxx you can have your own key and come and go as you please.
We are in a lovely old part of Hereford, St James (called the green belt) all Victorian houses, lovely friendly neighbors, close to town the park, river great pubs.
  • Fantastic house and very warm welcoming hosts. Would very much recommend - thanks Caroline x

  • Young William looked after me well on arrival. The room was as described and very comfortable. Caroline and Stephen were charming hosts and very good to chat to. Excellent breakfast. Caroline even drove me to the bus.

  • Caroline and Stephen made us feel most wonderfully welcome in their marvelous home. The room was very comfortable and quiet. A cup of tea was always on offer, breakfast was tasty and Stephen even made us a thoughtful packed lunch when we left with a warm feeling in our hearts!

  • I was in Hereford for an intensive 5 day course, so Caroline's home away from home, relaxed family vibe and good conversation was perfect after a day of physics equations! The bed is super comfortable and breakfast is excellent :D

  • Caroline and Steven were really friendly and helpful and it was lovely to meet them. The house is a delightful family home, and it was a really nice place to stop and relax. I've no hesitation recommending them!

My lovely Victorian house is close to parks, the beautiful medieval town centre, the Cathedral, shops, and with easy access to the incredible surrounding countryside. You’ll love my place because it's a beautiful home in a friendly community, perfectly situated for exploring the delights of Herefordshire.
  • We stayed here for 3 days with our 2 children while we attended a wedding in Hereford. The house was excellent - big, comfortable, very close to town, the river and the park. Everything we needed was there, and the host emailed us with information promptly and was very helpful. It was perfect :)

  • Jenny-May's house is very homely and comfortable. It's a lovely family home in a really lovely part of Hereford - within easy reach of the river, the town and the cathedral. Arrival and access was very easy with clear instructions. I would definitely seek to stay here again when I come to Hereford with friends. Thanks :)

    Tom2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I spent a great weekend at Jenny-May's home. It was easy to find, in a nice quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to the town and near to a lovely park and the river. The house was a delight, comfortable and spacious and had all the facilities that you would need inside plus a nice little outside space. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Street parking is fine for one car as we had a visitors permit, any other cars may need to park on a nearby public car park when resident-only times are in force. This was easily worked around and wasn't very expensive. I would definitely stay there again.

  • Lovely big house with plenty of space for everyone. Great location, less than a 5 minute walk to wide open fields and river side walks that were perfect for dog walking and wildlife spotting. Easily able to walk into Hereford and stroll around the shops and cathedral. Enclosed rear pretty garden which was lovely to sit out in with family and the dog enjoying the evenings. Would definitely recommend to others.

  • We arived to find an large welcoming house, which felt very homely. We enjoyed how relaced the house felt and all had a good nights rest. The house is in a very useful location, close to the City centre, and for us, was very local for the purpose of our visit.

  • Jenny May was easy to contact and we spent 11 nights here. The house is large and very centrally located. The outside space was good. However, there should have been more attention given to the cleaning.

    stephen2016-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • A comfortable stay with generous use of this whole family house. Host left helpful notes with names and addresses of people to contact in emergency. Very clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Hereford and would like to return next year. Host was very helpful and patient when I was having booking problems.. as a first timer using airbnb.!

    Jane 2016-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Really conveniently located close to Hereford town, the house was easy to access and the neighbours were incredibly helpful. A real bonus was being left a peaking permit, otherwise we would have been stuck for parking. The house is right on a corner and doesn't have a visible number from the road, but luckily a kind neighbour pointed the house out to us. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful large room (15ft 10" x 14ft) in huge Victorian family house built in 1880. 10 minutes walk to the City centre. There is a kitchen/diner/living room and a lovely terrace overlooking a large garden. This room has high ceilings, a large wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and chair, armchair, double bed, a fridge and plenty of power points. The kitchen is just across the landing as is a shower room. There are also bathrooms available. A TV, kettle, tea & coffee are provided in the room.
10 minutes walk from the city centre (showing further out than it is on Airbnb map). The house is a grand 4 storey Victorian family house of large proportions and many original features. It is our family home but as it is large, and was well built with thick walls, it is quite quiet. Although you are welcome to socialize with us if you wish, your peace & space will also be respected.
    - We are located in a conservation area close to the centre of Hereford, comprised mainly of grand Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian houses on tree lined roads. - The hospital, railway station, independant shops and 2 supermarkets are just a 5 minute walk. - The centre of the city with its many eateries, shops, Cathedral district, museums and the River Wye are 10-15 minutes walk from us. - The unspoilt Herefordshire countryside is just a mile or two away whichever direction you go, and the Wye Valley and Black Mountains are a short drive or train ride away.
  • Loved staying with David and Carys, really friendly couple in a great location, will definitely stay again.

    Duncan2017-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • The room is lovely and really spacious. David is a wonderful host and gave me a guided tour through Hereford, which I certainly recommend if you are interested in learning more about the place you are staying in. I really enjoyed my stay!
