Sauna / Steam Room
“Japanese-Finnish Architect couple Nene Tsuboi and Tuomas Toivonen opened up Kulttuurisauna (Culture Sauna) in 2013. And it is exactly what you could expect and more, a marble of tranquility and Japanese-Finnish aesthetics. I usually try to head there around 18:00 for the last three hours that it is open (no new visitors let in after 20:00) to get the most calming and contemplative atmosphere. Tuomas, who also is a musician, usually plays a soundscape of slowed down of Orthodox Christian churchbells for the last hours.”
