Places to stay in Helena
I have two 600 sf studio apartments that I have opened to ABNB. They are new and have all amenities. We have security systems and cameras. Parking in front except for King Biscuit when Cherry St. is closed. There is a lot immediately behind my building with provided parking passes. Guest will appreciate the location. It is the center of everything and guest can listen to King Biscuit music from the balcony. Our goal is to give guests a world class travel experience in Helena.
The buildings were build in 1882 and are two of the oldest in Helena. Both buildings were completely rehabbed beginning in 2014 and we continue to make improvements. The original pressed metal façade is truly unique and one of the few remaining in Arkansas. Both buildings are on the National Registry of Historic Places. We provide glasses, coffee, coffee cups, coffer maker, pots, pans, plates, silverware. Water, beer, soda and wine (red and white) are stocked in your refrigerator. Complimentary chocolates.
We are located in the center of Cherry St within walking distance to many attractions. The balcony is the largest in the city and affords guests the best views in town.
  • Chuck and Cindy’s place is a gem in a downtown on the cusp of revival. They’re full of great stories and local insight too.

  • Chuck and Cindy, Frank and I absolutely loved our stay at The Rising Sun. We will definitely be back. The fact that you accommodated us with our ill forgotten Arkansas liquor laws on Sunday, was outstanding. Your place is beautiful, clean, updated and charming. Thank you for your hospitality. • We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and cozy. It was just what we were looking for on our romantic night away. Sitting on the balcony was very nice and peaceful. Wasn't much traffic so we spent a lot of time enjoying the balcony. The bed was so comfortable. Definitely will book again soon.

  • Overall stay was delightful. Quick responses and for the location this place is a gem. Felt like we were in a luxury antique tree house. There is a smaller room with a vanity and crib, loved this touch!! I would suggested bringing a candle to remove the stale air. Floors are a little uneven but not a big deal. Stay here vs the casino you won’t regret it!

  • I'm a business traveler and am accustomed to hotels and all the amenities they have. This was my first AirBnB stay, and even though I missed some of the hotel amenities, I was very comfortable. Misti was fabulous with quick, caring communication, dinner recommendations, anything I needed. I got to meet Will and the dog this morning as I left. What a great family! I can see that this would be a terrific place to stay and hang out in the springtime or for an event. It was quite spacious for just me, myself, and I.

  • This place is extremely clean! Check in was super easy and convenient! It was nice having a code and a physical key, although I didn’t have to use either one. The bathroom was sparkling clean! I didn’t use the complimentary soap and shampoo but that is a nice touch and amenity in case a guest forgets to bring their own! The bite size complementary candy was clutch! There were tons of comfy blankets! This was an amazing stay!

  • Fantastic lodging, excellent value and great host/hospitality. Clean, comfortable, convenient and a spacious and unique flat. One of our best AirBnB experiences ever. Close to all that Clarksdale has to offer. Will definitely stay here again as we are frequent visitors to the town being huge fans of the local blues music scene. Kudos to Gramm for being a wonderful host. Highly recommend this to others!

  • We travel to Clarksdale several times a year to visit my in laws. This is one fantastic rental and we will definitely use Michael’s home again. The location is perfect. Very close to everything (close to our family, minutes from downtown, around the corner from the “crossroads”, close to Walmart and dining options. Michael responded quickly to all inquiries, check in was exceptionally easy and Mrs. Barnes came by and introduced herself and said to contact her if we needed anything. The house is awesome. Everything we needed was available, beds were comfortable, wifi worked great and it felt like we were at home. I will be booking this home every time we come to Clarksdale!

  • We stayed here for the King Biscuit Blues Festival. It is a great place to stay! The house is on the historic registry and gives you a sense of the grandeur of historic Helena. It is within easy walking access to downtown. Misti and Will are amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Misti serves an amazing breakfast every morning (blueberry pancakes one morning, 4 different kinds of quiche the next, crepes another morning). They were very helpful and flexible during our stay from providing chairs for the festival, maps, beer, answering questions about things to see, etc. We camped in the backyard AND stayed in the house due to weather. This has been our favorite Airbnb experience so far! We have already booked our room for the next KBBF, and will stay with them anytime we are in Helena.

    Geary2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed there for the 2016 King Biscuit Blues Festival (awesome). I’ve never done the AirBnb thing before so I had some concerns for sure. But within 30 seconds of my arrival (thanks to misti) I felt like I was home. Now I’m an old man and so like any other old guy I’ve meant a whole bunch of people. But I never meet such nice and special people (almost inspiringly so) as misti and her husband will. Yeah I know.. I’m paying them so much a night and all that.. but they went 1000 times beyond as far as being gracious, friendly and helpful. Stayed in a tent in their backyard. It had electric and big inflatable mattress and a cooler of beer!.. it was in a fenced yard with a locked gate so everything was perfectly safe. It was just a short walk from the festival so it was the perfect location. They gave me a key to the house for bathroom, shower.. etc. and every morning they cooked a world class breakfast. One day it was homemade apple cinnamon crepes!! The house itself was an older home that was perfectly restored. The other people that were staying there also very welcoming and extremely fascinating people. Misti and Will run a great shop in downtown Helena (Thrive) that seemed to be the center of attention all through the festival. I didn’t know that I was staying with locally famous people. !! Thank you guys for such a wonderful experience and I wish you all the best. Zeppelinman

  • Misti and Will were most accommodating. Even after a monsoon hit on Friday night, they allowed us to "Camp" in their living room. Their location is perfect for getting to the King Biscuit Blues Fest. Great breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend theses lovely folks. Hope to stay with them again.

    Rexine2014-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Misti and Will were amazing hosts! My fiancee and I went glamping in their back yard (with power and air mattress and beer and use of their shower) during the King Biscuit Blues Festival and enjoyed every minute. The house was in a great location and they were the most gracious hosts. Every morning Misti made an amazing breakfast and we ended up sitting around the table talking with other guests for several hours each day. They are also really involved with the local community and really gave us a feel of life in Helena. Thanks y'all for everything!

  • Debbie's place is very clean and well-equipped with a functional kitchen. The bedroom and living room are very comfortable, a great place to relax in the middle of our busy schedule. It's perfectly located, whether you're in Clarksdale for Blues or some artistic project at the Cutrer Mansion, as we were. Great to have Meraki (a café) and Levon's bar/restaurant around the corner and Yazoo Pass just a couple of blocks away, as well as pretty much all of the Blues joints. We'd gladly come back!

  • Perfect for a visit to the heart of the Delta. Walking distance to the Blues Museum and to the sites/food for downtown Clarksdale. The apartment feels like a home, has everything needed for a good long stay.

    Stacy2019-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Debbie's place was much better than I expected. I've been to Clarksdale more times than I can count and never knew this place was there! It's steps from anything downtown and the perfect retreat. During the day there's music wafting up from Deak's shop below and at night you're only a block or so from all the live music you can handle. The place is clean, safe and wonderfully decorated. The only thing I can say slightly negative about the place was related to the old building - the stairs are a little on the steep side which can be a little cumbersome with luggage but there's not much that can be done about that.

Great little cabin at Horseshoe Lake, 30 minutes from MS River & downtown Memphis. You'll enjoy the covered patio surrounding the cabin and shaded by the towering pecan trees. If you have a boat, you may dock it at our boat slip in the canal at the private surf club, just 1/2 mile down the road from the cabin. Lots of folks have golf carts or ATVs that cruise the neighborhood to wave or stop and visit with each other. You're welcome to bring yours as well and will have parking available.
Update** I have bikes, canoes, and a pontoon boat available for rent. Send me a private message and we can discuss. ** The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for meal prep and cooking. have lots of games and toys. I'm sure you'll also find a puzzle to work on, while not enjoying the outdoors or exploring in Memphis, that's one of our favorite past times while we're at the lake. The washer and dryer are available for your use and come in handy after a day out on the water. You'll love our new gas grill, but we ask that you do provide propane for it. We have a small smoker available as well.
Horseshoe Lake (Crittenden County) Latitude and Longitude: 34º54’48″N 090º18’26″W Elevation: 203 feet Area: 0.136 square miles (2010 Census) Population: 292 (2010 Census) Incorporation Date: September 19, 1983 The town of Horseshoe Lake is located on the old Seyppel area in Crittenden County at the east end of the lake from which it takes its name. Horseshoe Lake is predominately a bedroom community, with the surrounding area consisting of farmland where cotton, feed corn, soybeans, and milo are grown. Some cattle are also raised on the high ground of the levee. The Great River Road encircles the lake. Several legendary blues musicians, including B. B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, and Hurbert Sumlin, once played in juke joints on the plantations. Pre-European Exploration The remnants of Native American civilizations surround Horseshoe Lake. The oldest recorded Indian mounds in the area are believed to be pre-Mississippian, as evidenced from artifacts found dating back to around AD 600. However, many mounds have been completely eroded over the years from farming operations, while others have been looted. Louisiana Purchase through the Gilded Age Mosquito-borne diseases and frequent flooding deterred early colonization of the area. Soon after the War of 1812, the land was surveyed and given to soldiers who fought in the war for payment for their services. Horseshoe Lake is visible as a large oxbow on the survey maps from this time. In 1825, Crittenden County was carved out of Phillips County, and four township divisions were created in the county. One of these was Lucas Township, which encompassed the Horseshoe Lake community. To make this rich bottomland more productive and to help prevent the encroachment of the Mississippi River at flood stage, the Swamp Land Act of 1850 gave patents to levee builder Isaac Burgett, who built a lavish home at what is present-day Seyppel. The Burgett house was said to have been used as a hospital for Union soldiers during the Civil War. The home remained standing until the 1930s. According to historian Margaret Woolfolk, it is believed that the Horseshoe Lake area was the site of a skirmish with Texas Rangers during the Civil War. Early Twentieth Century During the early twentieth century, hunters and lumbermen discovered the lake. It was dammed at Lost Lake Bayou, raising the water level by over six feet. This made it possible to float timber directly from the area to the Mississippi River, where a sawmill was built to process the lumber. Russell Gardner of St. Louis, Missouri—maker of the Banner Buggy and Gardner Automobile—purchased 1,200 acres along the river for his private hunting reserve, and it was named Bruin for the many bears in the area. Five Lakes Outing Club was established by Memphis, Tennessee, residents as a hunting club on the land in the middle of the horseshoe of the lake. They purchased land from Gardner and the Fritz family, among others, and established an immense hunting and fishing reserve for the club’s forty-five members; it is still in operation in the twenty-first century. The Horseshoe Recreation Club was established around the same time and is also still in existence. J. O. E. Beck purchased land on the western side of the lake, stretching to Hughes (St. Francis County). He cleared the land of trees and drained the swampland, putting in over 9,000 feet of drainage tiles some ten feet deep. Bob Snowden purchased 1,000 acres on the northwestern side of the lake and established a commissary known as Baugh Store, which had the first frozen food lockers in the area. Gus Zanone purchased land on the northeastern side of the lake on which to build cabins, and E. H. Clarke Sr. purchase farm land east of the lake. The depth of the lake has been the subject of numerous court cases. The first case was when Five Lakes Outing Club wanted to reclaim land that was flooded after the levee was completed in 1905, increasing the depth of that lake as much as seven feet. The club was allowed to pump water out of the lake and did this for a number of years until the pump broke. The last break in the levee that affected the area was in 1912 and occurred at what is now known as Blue Lake. The floods of 1927 and 1937 also inundated the lake area. Beck and Snowden dug a canal to drain the lake to prevent flooding after the Flood of 1937, but the draining of the lake was opposed, and the lake’s water level remained the same. World War II through the Faubus Era During World War II, the farms in the area were desperate for help, as many of the farmers and field hands were serving in the military. The government assisted by establishing a German prisoner-of-war camp about six miles from Horseshoe Lake, in an area now known as Anthonyville. Roads and bridges were soon built over the Mississippi River, and transportation to the lake moved on wheels instead of water. Many of the river landing post offices moved inland off the levee during this period, with the Seyppel post office being one of the last to close, in 1948. Jack Rich, a developer, created the Horseshoe Lake Estates subdivision in 1965 and sold more than 400 plots of land. All homeowners in the subdivision automatically became members of the Surf Club, which provided the area with water, a club house, a pier, a boat ramp, a canal, a common greenway on the south side of the canal, and a marina to dock boats. The Surf Club is still in existence in the twenty-first century. Modern Era Mechanized farming reduced the need for a large work force to maintain the farms. Tenant houses that once lined the farm roads were torn down, and the population of the area went into a steep decline. The present-day population largely consists of retirees, sportsmen, and a few remaining farmers. The nearest school to the area is in Hughes, about eight miles away. Residents of the Horseshoe Lake Estates subdivision voted to incorporate in 1983, thus creating the town of Horseshoe Lake. The town provided for a fire department, took over the city’s water supply, and installed a sewer treatment system. The W. G. Huxtable Pumping Plant near Marianna (Lee County), completed in 1977, stopped the flooding but also prevented runoff, keeping the lake from replenishing itself. Droughts brought the lake to new lows, and canals dried up, diminishing access to the lake. A vote was taken in 2007, and the Horseshoe District was formed, taxing homeowners around the lake in order to fund the installation of ten pumps to maintain the water level. The drainage canal once built by Beck and Snowden was cleared of brush and widened, and a gate was installed across the bayou to keep the water level constant and prevent flooding. Only one grocery, Bonds Store, remains in the Horseshoe area, serving as a hub of local activity. Summer brings an influx of people from Memphis to the lake. The owners of the property surrounding the lake have sold many lots for summer and retirement homes, renovating or replacing the cabins and tenant houses that once stood there. Horseshoe Lake has an art gallery, Plantation Gallery, to showcase the works of artists throughout the Delta. Several celebrities were raised in the area, including actor Michael Beck, best known for his role in the 1979 film The Warriors; Memphis musician Lee Baker, guitarist for the bands Electric Blue Watermelon and Mudboy and the Neutrons; and Baker’s son, actor Robert Baker, who has appeared in numerous television shows. • This home was awesome. It was very cute and spacious! Lisa’s description was very detailed which I appreciated. The location was awesome, off the grid. We stayed because we went to a concert in Memphis. It was super easy to get there and back. The price was unreal. We will definitely come back. On top of it all I was able to bring my dog. Thanks, Lisa!

  • The cabin was ‘our space’ we had no problems finding the place, getting in and overall. I enjoyed the games, Roku, and coffee maker. The time was spent mostly out in Tennessee, but when we were at the cabin we relaxed. You’ll find like the reviews mentioned and Lisa too, it’s being fixed up so it’s in the process! Nothing was in our way, the set up was awesome. Our first Airbnb experience I can’t wait to do it again!

An awesome place to stay in historic downtown Helena, Arkansas on the Mississippi River.
The Parkview is a 2nd-floor apartment directly across from Cherry Street Park in historic downtown Helena Arkansas. It has undergone a painstaking restoration and is now available for you to enjoy.
There are many historic sites within a few blocks of the Parkview. A great place to start your tour is the Delta Cultural Center at 141 Cherry Street (just 3 blocks south). You can also ask any of the friendly people you encounter downtown for their recommendations. We highly suggest walking or biking out to the river (about 2 miles round trip). Go north on Cherry Street two blocks, turn right just past the Courthouse, go up on the levee and head right on the paved road. This will wind you out to the river. At the end of the road, there is an elevated boardwalk through the trees that takes you right out to the bank of the river.

  • While I do not appreciate being dunned for reviews on repeat visits to an airbnb lodging, I will say that Nancy's Carriage House remains clean, comfortable, and well-equipped enough to please even the most demanding visitor.

  • Nancy’s Carriage House is an excellent stay in Clarksdale. It is very spacious, comfortably and thoughtfully furnished, quiet, and safe. Nancy left lots of recommendations for us, including a current schedule of live music happening around town. Further, she was kind enough to join us for lunch during our stay, and she even guided us through a museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Nancy’s carriage house!

  • These two literally saved our once-in-a-lifetime holiday. As we were driving into Clarksdale, we were in a car crash. Our rental car was spun off the road, a write-off. We both had minor head injuries and were taken to the local hospital. The car, with all our belongings, was towed. After CAT scans, with 7% battery on one phone, no phone charger, still disoriented, we got the Jolly Cab (side note - for God's sake don't book this guy). He couldn't find Torey's place and we ended up getting dropped off at a random hotel. The lovely receptionist at the hotel rang Torey. She didn't have access to a car but went through her phone book and got two of her friends to drive out and pick us up. We arrived. She gave us a beer. We stroked her beautiful dog, Itchy. We sat with her and her friends, trying to talk but still both in shock. Torey made every effort to help us feel calm and safe. We're from the UK so the crash was made much worse by being in a totally unfamiliar place, but Honey Hill felt like home (although much more swank than our real home). In the morning she drove us to reclaim our gear from the wrecking yard that had towed our car, and made it possible to stay a second night (we initially only booked in for one) so we could get back on our feet a little. Honestly one of the best possible hosts we could have lucked out on to help us in a seriously bad situation. P. S. THE HOUSE IS INCREDIBLE.

  • This is the best place in Clarksdale, MS to stay. It is close enough to the attractions but yet at the same time you feel as if you are in the country beside the river. The Sunflower Penthouse was immaculate and decorated beautifully with Antiques and had very Modern comforts as well. The Cutest little kitchen equipped with coffee, coffee maker and the fixings to go with it. Very nice bathroom with jacuzzi tub/shower. It has two beautiful bedrooms, each with a large tv. The outdoors Deck is so very nice. The Sunflower Penthouse is very comfortable and you totally feel at home. Libby is so gracious and very attentive. We will definitely be going back to visit!!!!

  • Location is the best and the host was most helpful without being over the top.

    Denny2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous stay at Debbie's very comfy, and perfectly located apartment. The moment we arrived in Clarksdale and at Debbie's place we were welcomed as if we were family. Debbie's home was a home away from home comfy bed, nicely decorated (loved all the original art), and we were very thankful for access to the washer and dryer. Debbie recommended several things to do and places to eat. Location couldn't have been better we parked the car upon arrival and didn't have to drive again until sadly we had to leave. We are looking forward to our next trip to Clarksdale and we highly recommend staying at Debbie's cozy apartment.

The Sky Room is a bright room with eclectic decor selected for style and functionality. The bathroom is shared with two other rooms upstairs and is stocked with all the necessities. Chateau Debris is located right in downtown Clarksdale, just a couple blocks from coffee shops, music venues, restaurants, museums and art galleries. The street is quiet and safe and the downtown area is easily navigable on foot or by car. Come down to the Crossroads and become part of the neighborhood!
I am an avid collector of vintage and antique decor and furnishings, as well as regional artwork, so the house is a full of interesting pieces to look at!
Great, quiet, safe neighbourhood in the heart of downtown Clarksdale.

  • I loved John's place! The house is inviting, comfortable, and cozy. It's got a great vibe and i loved the decor. The location is perfect. They have a kuereg, which is nice because I must have coffee first thing in the morning. I didn't meet John in person but he was very communicative and his brother met me and gave me lots of great tips. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to spend in Clarksdale, one night is NOT enough. As a solo woman traveler, I found John's to be a very restful stay and I felt totally comfortable there. Everything is very clean and well run, it just felt EASY. I would absolutely love to stay at John's place again!

Welcome to The Gallery at Chateau Debris! This one bedroom cottage sits behind the main house. It has recently been renovated, but is decorated with vintage furnishings for personality. The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, washer and dryer. Your stay will be unique, as the decor has been selected from my collector's lair, and the best part is - it's all for sale! The Gallery is a live-in collectibles showroom so, contrary to the saying - you CAN take it with you!
This is a cottage tucked into the heart of downtown Clarksdale. Easy walking distance to the cafes, restaurants, museums, and juke joints. You have the privacy of your own space, and yet have access to all the goings-on of Clarksdale!

  • John is an excellent host. I arrived later than expected and he was so accommodating! After spending almost two months in this space, I came to think of it as home. It has everything you need and John is quick to respond if you have any questions. If I am ever back in Clarksdale, this is the only place I’ll look to stay. Thanks for a wonderful experience John!

    Jessica2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Gallery, I hope, will become our standard layover spot when passing through the Delta. The bed is very comfortable, the home is one of the cleanest we’ve ever rented, and the location can’t be beat. If you are traveling, make sure you leave your mornings free and bring plenty of groceries to stock the kitchen and spend as much time as you can in the Gallery. Unlike us, don’t cram your schedule so full that you miss the opportunity to sleep in, relax, read a book and sip coffee and tea during your stay. Will definitely be back.

    Marcus2019-11-02T00:00:00Z

  • Jennifer’s place was cool and quaint, and in a great location for visiting Clarksdale. She made us breakfast on both mornings which was delicious. We had a great time.

    Thor2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer’s place! She is so fun, so sweet, but gives you your space if that’s what you want. Her food was delicious and she provided everything we needed and more. It also smelled like laundry which was also nice, haha! I have an allergy to cats and her house didn’t bother me at all. Her place was very close to downtown Clarksdale and we even walked to town one night. Can’t recommend this place enough! Book!!

    Adriane2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • an excellent value for money, in a charming, welcoming, caring person Jennifer, who is also cultivated and interesting which allows beautiful relationships fruitful

    Michèle2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and GREAT host. Jennifer was so hospitable and kind and fun to chat with. Felt like I knew her forever. She even got up and made breakfast for us. Clarksdale was a high point of our cross-country trek so far, and Jennifer's place was a big part of that!

    David2019-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer is a wonderful, very helpful host. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. Proximity to festival area events is ideal. Very personal, welcoming place to stay.

    John2019-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer's home is as delight as its host: a cozy, comfortable, and convenient home. It has all of the touches that Airbnb folks like, plus a few extra touches that make the place special. The upstairs suite is delightful, a large spacious bedroom, with a sitting room and a large bathroom. The bed was as comfortable as any hotel bed, and the furniture and decor are both practical and eclectic. Meanwhile, the rest of the home is a veritable art gallery, with paintings, sculptures, pottery and all manner of art littering the place, an incredible array of art by the owner and various members of her obviously-talented family. Finally, because I was there over the weekend, I enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast of an omelet, fresh fruit and coffee. On the whole, this was a delightful stay, and I would hope to stay here when next I am traveling through Clarksdale, or am anywhere in the vicinity.

  • Wow!!! This place was unbelievable! Decorated with artwork, photographs, and unique crafts all inspired by Delta Blues, this was possibly the best place we have ever stayed. Amazingly restored and repurposed furniture, such as an x-ray print display light illuminating the bedroom (don’t worry - not the radioactive part of the x-ray!), adorned the entire unit. Right across the street was an intimate but hopping live blues show! Seriously amazed! We will DEFINITELY be back!

    Paul2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Squeeze Box is the perfect, centrally located themed accommodation in Clarksdale. If you want to immerse yourself in the Delta Blues this accommodation is brilliant for achieving this but at the same time is luxurious with everything thought of including a couple of pecan beers and waters in the fridge. Your hosts are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

  • Our first stay at this AirBNB and most likely not our last! A hidden little gem in the middle of town! So peaceful. We usually stay downtown, but we loved the privacy and peacefulness here! The home is beautiful! Nice touches in the main house with a bar and drinks. Torey was so friendly and helpful and even let us checkin early! I loved having a noon checkout since we really usually shut down Reds! Lol! The New Roxy, Ground zero, bluesberry cafe, shackup inn and Levon’s never disappoint! You must checkout Dean’s Harmonica shop and Stan’s Hambone art gallery!

    Candi2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the carriage house, which is super private and cozy and has everything you need. Wish we had more time to hang out inside the main house, which has a beautiful sun room. Also enjoyed the grounds and brick patio. You feel like you stepped back in time here!

    Julie2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed overnight in the carriage house. Very quiet, clean and private area behind the main house. Torey gave us insight into local attractions and eateries that helped us plan our stay and was a gracious hostess. Great location very close to downtown and the local music venues. I highly recommend this place and am sure that I will visit here (and Clarksdale) again in the very near future.

  • This is a private bedroom in the guest house. The room is accessed from the outside and faces the backyard, so it feels very private. The room is equiped with a microwave, small refrigerator and a coffee maker. The coffee was excellent. Additionally there was coffee, bagels and bottled water in the main house. The space is heated with space heaters. There is one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. It got fairly cold outside the night we stayed, but the heaters kept the space warm no problem. The location is excellent and even though it's not too far from a busy road, it is completely quiet. I would stay here again.

Perfectly situated in downtown Clarksdale, MS, in the same building as the world famous Ground Zero Blues Club & Bar. VERY close walking distance to the Delta Blues Museum, Cathead, Hambone, and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The crossroads is just a short drive away! These apartments feature full kitchens, wifi and spacious living areas. Note: Music CAN be heard from 8 PM to Midnight from the rooms! The rooms are located above a music club with a bar vibe, with a separate entrance.
  • Loved it ! Will be visiting again .
