Beautiful area with an easy access to the mountains. Very close to a picturesque lake. Midnight sun in the summer, northern lights in the autumn and winter. In the closest neighborhood: two grocery shops, harbour, restaurant Maren Anna, art gallery. In the area possibilities are almost endless: kayaking, bikes/cars rental, diving/snorkeling, mountain hiking, many restaurants and galleries.
  • The home was absolutely beautiful, and extremely private. I had my own room, complete with bathroom and small kitchen. Mountains filled the backdrop out the window. Marta and Joanna were kind enough to pick me up at the Moskenes port when I got in from Bodo. They also had lots of information on things in the area, such as stores and hikes. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're in the area!

  • I enjoyed the stay at Joanna's place, she was nice and helpful. The room had everything I needed and the communication with Joanna was clear and easy. I would stay here again when coming back to Lofoten.

  • Klippen is a really neat and well located place. The room was clean and would suit shorter as well as longer stays. For hikers, there are a lot of spots to go to in the nearest environment. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend this accommodation.

  • We stayed one night in Sorvagen in the house of Marta&Joanna. Although we arrived too early it was no problem to leave our bags in the house. In the appartment we found everything we needed. We had a sleeping room additional equiped with a couch and a little table, a small kitchen and bathroom. The rooms were very clean. Escpecially we liked the books and games offered in the floor that made our evening amusing. We girls were very helpful and very kind. There was also a good communication before our stay, we got detailed information concerning bus routes and restaurants. Close to the house you can find amazing hiking tracks. Its really worth to walk to the mountains, you get an increadible view. We can recommend to stay in the house of Marta and Joanna. Thanks for all!

  • Perfect place very near to the ferry in Moskenes (5min by car). The room was very cozy and clean. We had an awesome stay! As our ferry arrived late at night, Marta even let us get in earlier so we could get some sleep. In addition, she provided us with an additional mattrasse. The directions Marta provided us with have been very precise and we found the place instantly even in complete darkness (it was around 4 am). Highly recommended!

    Stefan2016-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great Place in an amazing location, the views around the house on the surrounding mountains are beautiful. The house is located a few km south or Reine which is the most beautiful part of the Lofoten. Hosts are very nice and I will come back for sure !

    Tim2017-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is an awesome place!! Joanna picked us up from the ferry and gave us dome useful information about hiking trips in the surrounding's! The place itself was super cozy and offered a bookshelf (leave one take one). All in all super experience and highly recommended!

  • It was such a great experience to stay at Marta&Joanna in Sorvagen, which is located on the Lofoten Islands. It was absolutely epic, the whole area is stunning and there are plenty of hikes to make around (Reinebringen is just amazing), we even saw some Northern Lights! The place is comfortable, very clean and there is everything you need (private kitchenette and shower). I truly recommend!

Stay in a room in a characterful house right in the centre of Reine, Norway's most beautiful town, on the Lofoten Island of Moskenes. All prices are including bedding, towels, tea, coffee, WiFi and end-cleaning. Breakfast is not included in the price
A cosy room, with the sea, shops, bus stop and restaurant in the immediate vicinity: Guesthouse "det gamle Hotellet" (the Old Hotel) wishes you a warm welcome all year round. The room is located on the second floor with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, the Reinefjord and the marina. The Lofoten Islands are famous for their history of cod-fishing and -drying. You will see the drying-racks and, if you visit between March and June the fish hanging on them, everywhere. The guesthouse was built a little over a hundred years ago as the hotel for the village of Reine and was in use until the '70s as the main hotel. In the 1990's it got 'converted' into a home, but still has many bedrooms which I now rent out for guests. It is situated right in the centre of the village with easy access to restaurants, café, busstop and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and the sea. The guesthouse sleeps a total of 8 people in 5 rooms.
The mountains seem to rise out of the sea here in Reine. Interspersed with sea all around, it creates a magical surrounding in any season. The winters are surprisingly mild since the Gulfstream runs along here: -5C to +5C with snow from December until May. Since Reine is located above the arctic-circle, the sun does not rise above the horizon from the beginning of December until the beginning of January. This means that in the summer (read: end of May until middle of July) the sun does not set: midnight sun! The northern lights, aurora borealis, are visible here from September until April. There are a number of outdoor-companies right outside the door: diving/snorkeling, sea-rafting, kayaking, bicycle-rental and mountain hiking. I can help you to get in touch with these companies or organise your activity for you.
  • Great place to stay! I traveled solo and stayed at the top floor, with a great view of Reine. Relatively cheap, but very clean and comfortable. Lilian is very professional but in a friendly and hospitable way. Also enjoyed the common area for relaxing, tea, and cookies after a hike. Lasly, it is very central in Reine so everything you need, groceries/ferry/bikes/restaurants is accessible. Would definitely recommend!

    David2016-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • No hitches and pleasant all around: from the welcoming attitude of Lillian to the cozy house and astounding location.

    loren2015-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Lilian's place. It's a beautiful home in arguably the most beautiful village in Lofoten. My single room was simple (smallish bed/mattress), but nice and colorful with incredible views. On the second floor of the house, there's a cozy area where you ca n relax with a book, chat with other guests, or have some tea and biscuits (which were always provided). There's also a huge bathroom with heated floors - shared, but I never had to wait. Lilian was very welcoming and helpful, and gave me some great suggestions for things to do around Lofoten. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something clean, homey, with lots of character and in a great location. it's an especially good option if you're traveling solo and don't want to rent a whole rorbu.

    Siham2015-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • very nice place to discover the Lofoten islands (south}. All is perfect !

    lorette2015-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • It's a very nice and clean place to stay, but you have to go up steep stairs to the room.

    David2017-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew made me comfortable from the first second. He was very helpful! I would stay there anytime again! Thanks for the lovely stay!

    Sylvia2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great time staying with Lilian. The room is on the 3rd floor with a sloped ceiling. The view out the window is over the roofs of Reine with the water, mountains, and clouds in the distance. Very picturesque. The room is small, cozy, and neat. When it's slightly chilly, the space heater warms up the room very quickly. It seems to me that Reine is one of the best places to stay in Lofoten, and Lilian's place is one of the best places to stay in Reine. There is a guest space with tea, coffee, cookies, and guidebooks/brochures as well as some fiction books to read. I really appreciated having this common area to relax in. The Internet was fast, the shower hot, and the location central. The gas station/supermarket is next door, as well as two outdoor adventure outfitters. Lilian was very helpful and prompt in helping me get acquainted with the area. I enjoyed getting to know her and learning more about life in Lofoten.

    Larissa2014-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, fantastic service by Lilian and a house you really feel that you live in a old fisherman village! You share bathroom, so it can be hard to have a tight schedule;)

Catogården is a good place to stay in many ways. It is located right next to the local café Bringen where you`ll be served serve delicious coffee and homemade cakes. The nice restaurant Gammelbua and the tavern of Lanternen have good lunches and dinner. The convenience store Coop Extra is near by, as well as kayaking: both the company Reine Adventure and Lofoten Outdoor. Bike rental and the diving center Aqua Lofoten is a couple of meters from the house - as the rest above, and that also goes for booking tickets for fishing trips or rib safaris. The house is close to the football field, and the art gallery av tourist information of Reine kultursenter. The village have a lot of festivals - like the jazz festival Elijazzen in April, the literature festival Reine Ord in June, the homecoming festival Heimkommarn in July, a small stock fish festival Tørrfiskuka in August, the light wandering and art event Lysvandringen in September. ..And more! Catogården is located on the doorsteps of many great day trips and hikes, museums and the most spectacular scenery you can possible find in Lofoten. You find a puppet museum in Sakrisøy, The fishing village museum in Å (where they btw have an amazing bakery and cinnamon rolls), you can find a telecom museum in Sørvågen and a stockfish museum in Å. If you have a car, the Blacksmith of Sund and The Viking museum of Borg, is just a day hike away. We will tell you more of the secrets of the area when you arrive! Where you find natural made pot holes in the rocks, the caves, the geocaching hints, best places to kiss or propose to your love, or more - We grew up here, we have local knowledge behind our service.
  • Catogården is different from all others airbnb accomodations. It's not only a stylish old white wooden house on the top of the hill with a panoramic view on Reine mountains It's a little community, where you can feel a quiet and relaxing energy Runhild is the special and smiling host of a very special place to stay.

    Paolo2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our favorite place we stayed in our two weeks of traveling around Norway! Runhild has created such a lovely space for travelers, for whatever they're looking for - home base for hiking, rest and relaxation, a chance to meet other travelers... I could have stayed here for a month and been perfectly happy. Our room was huge in comparison with other places we stayed, with super comfy and luxurious bedding. We got lucky and had incredible weather while in Reine, so we took advantage of the balcony and sat outside for several hours just staring at the mountains and soaking up the sun. There is a bathroom with a toilet/sink/mirror on the main floor, and one with a toilet/shower/sink/mirror in the basement, which helps take some of the demand off the bathrooms when sharing among many other people. There is a washer/dryer combo machine that you can use, though if you're like me you may need to get Runhild to help you decipher the settings (which she very kindly did). She was always around the house somewhere and very available and kind with anything we needed.

    Kara2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Catogården is ideally located in the small village of Reine. Runhild is very friendly and the cosy atmosphere of the place will make you feel at home. There is only one bathroom for 8 rooms, so you'll sometimes have to postpone your shower ! The place lacks a kitchen, not a problem for a couple nights, but might be for a longer stay. The place is being renovated, no doubt it will be even better after ! We could recommand this place for a short stay in Reine.

    Quentin2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • This airb'n'b offered us more than we would have ever expected. Not only one of the most stunning views on Reinebringen and the west lofoten but also a very friendly and cozy stay. Runhild is an inspiring person and her dreams and her spirit are well present in this beautiful house. So even on rainy days the cozy living room is the place where you can sit next to the fire and get to know awesome people while roasting bread or marshmellows over the fire. Staying in cartogarden was definitely a wonderful experience for us. Thank you Runhild for hosting us - it was awesome. Daniel and Judith

    Judith2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay at Runhild's place. As some parts of the house are under construction quite a few things are still temporary, yet nice. We can recommend it for anyone traveling to Reine.

    Alexander2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at Runhilds place was really nice! It is in reachable walking distance from the ferry in mosknenes, and reine is such a charming village! Runhild was a really nice host and a great woman! (: we would definitely come back!

    Julia2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • I had a fantastic stay at Catogarden. As a solo traveler trying to get around Moskenoya without a car, I found the central location in Reine perfect for my needs. The bus comes right into the middle of town (2 min walk) and the ferry to two great beach hikes is about a five minute walk. The grocery store is about a 40 min walk and otherwise there are two or three options for places to eat nearby. Runhild is one of the kindest and most exceptional hosts I've had through Airbnb. She was responsive, welcoming, showed me all around the house, gave advice about local activities, and answered random questions I had, like where to the number for a good taxi. The room was clean and comfortable. If you are there during the summer- there are currently no blackout curtains, but Runhild does provide an eye-mask. The downstairs common area had dishes, silverware, a small fridge, fancy espresso machine, wine bottle opener- anything you might need. As written by another reviewer,, it's worth noting that the shared bathroom situation is a little extreme. There are I think 8 rooms of people sharing one full and one half bath. I never had to wait longer than a minute or two, and it did not bother me, just something to be aware of when booking! Overall- I would definitely stay here again, especially traveling alone. The vibe is that of a small, intimate hostel with private rooms. Thanks, Runhild and Lill for a wonderful experience!

  • Runhild's place was great! Everything was as described. The location was beautiful, central, clean, and filled with everything I could need on my stay. I would highly recommend her listing to any interested. She was also very friendly and enjoyed chatting with her in between outings! Would definitely stay again.

  • If you want a clean and quite place in the scenic town of Reine I'd recommend this place. There are also restaurants, a coffee shop, a gas station with a convenience store all within a few minutes walk.

  • Historic building in the heart of Reine. Friendly welcome from Runhild, quite a hostel vibe but good spacious and comfortable room with great views across the harbour. Could do with a shower/toilet on the same floor. The building is a work in progress but should be brilliant in a year or so!

    Andrew2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Runhild place is a large house with various rooms of different size at the first floor. The rooms are all spacious and extremely clean. Bathrooms are shared, clean and have all the necessary toiletries. It is rare to have to wait. There is a large living room with a small fridge useful to store few food items. The location in Reine is the perfect starting point for numerous interesting hikes and for daily trips to explore the Lofoten. In the house there are numerous guide books useful if you have not planned your hikes or tours ahead of time or want to review the itinerary. Runhild is extremely available to accomodate also late check-ins and always available for suggestions and tips on how to enjoy your stay at best. Overall an excellent experience. Definitely recommended!

  • Runhild is unique person. I felt her kindness and compassion. A passionate and positive :) you are mon model ... Everything was perfect. I felt home since the first seconde. Very comfy & beautiful. She invited me to eat a Norwegian fish soup prepared by an Aussie guest around à Familiar table and quiet music. It was magic and unforgettable. Here we are home. The place to stay in Reina . I miss you already <3

  • Runhild's place is fantastic, located in one of the most picturesque places in Norway. The room was nice and comfortable but the large communal balcony on the opposite side of the building quickly became a favourite spot. Sitting out, overlooking the bay under the midnight sun was something special. Throughout my stay, Rundhild was an excellent, friendly host and extremely helpful in planning my trip. I'm definitely looking forward to returning and using her place as a base to explore some more of the Lofoten Islands.

    Simon2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place is definitely amazing!! From the moment I came in it felt like home! Its amazing and the nature is absolutely incredible! Would recommend this place and would like to thank Runhild, Lill and Neil for all ! See you soon!!

  • This place is amazing! It's a tiny cozy little house, feeling both historic and comfortable (though tall people might struggle). Not only do you get a view out the balcony of Reinebringen, but you feel like a local in a safe, friendly neighborhood. There was a kitchen with basic cooking gear and a small but functional bathroom with plenty of hot water. Just has a really nice quaint feel. I felt right at home.

  • One of the cleanest, and comfortable places we've ever stayed in. Incredible location next to the lake with a restaurant across the road. Anne - Berit was so accommodating and friendly, giving us wonderful advice on the area and we were always able to knock on her door if we needed anything. Highly recommend staying and this fantastic apartment. Only 6 minute drive to popular Reine village.

  • If you are going to be in any of the small towns at the southern most tip of the Lofoten Islands, this is the place to stay. The apartment is small, but very clean and cozy. You also get an incredible view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The pictures in the description don't do it justice. Also, Anne-Berit might be the nicest person I've ever met. My friend and I were hiking to her place when it started raining on us. When she found out we were walking in the rain, she drove to come pick us up. She also gave us a ride to the fairy station the next morning. I couldn't give a better recommendation for this place!

The outdoor deck was a bonus to sit outside and enjoy the lake and the surrounding mountains. It is in a nice location between Reine and Å. Easy to get to with a car, right off the main road. It was a nice landing place after being out in the mountains camping to come and recharge and clean up! I highly recommend it!

  • Absolutely fantastic hosts. Even before we arrived, they helped us navigate the ferry times in order to book the correct flight out of Bodø. Our ferry arrived after dark, but they waited for us outside to help us figure out which house was theirs. They let us use their washing machine and even had chocolate mints on our pillows. Besides the hosts, the house is in a great location to do a bunch of Lofoten activities. We would definitely stay here again! :)

  • We spent 2 lovely days in Reine, and this is for sure also thx to Thomas and Ingrid and their lovely house! The room was clean, private, cosy and has a separate entrance, with a nice view on the mountains and a terrace. Thomas and Ingrid are warm-hearted people and are willing to give you suggestions for the things to do. Hiring a bike can be done just around the corner and is a convenient way to visit some of the other towns in the neighbourhoud. Next time I would choose again for the same accomodation and their lovely residents!

  • Perfect location for Toming's house in the center of Reine. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very good starting point to visit Moskenesoya. Toming has been very welcoming and the room was perfect with all amenities, lots of space and a private entrance. He even helped me with my car troubles.

    Etienne2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • We recommend the bedroom of Tomas. It was a very nice experience. The house is well placed in Reine and you can find easily whatever you want... We enjoy so much the terasse with the sun ! Real pleasure for the breakfast ;) The bedroom was clean and well exposed !!

  • Very nice apartment, with everything necessary for a good stay. The bed is very comfortable, there is a nice balcony to eat outside if the weather is nice, and also the possibility of washing your laundry! The bus stops right next to the apartment, and there are 2 supermarkets within walking distance in a few minutes. The tourist office is also within walking distance. We had a great time here!

  • Lovely apartment with a big balcony. Big, comfy couch and comfy bed. Very close to two supermarkets and to some fantastic hikes. Very good communication before and during the stay. We can definitely recommend the place!

  • Very good value for your money. Nice hosts: Bjørn Eirik waited for us even when our ferry was late.

    Esteban2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Bjørn was very accommodating when I asked to stay for a couple more nights.

  • Got an apartment above the garage with a large balcony all to our selves. A double bed + a couch that could turn into a bed. The place looked better than on the pictures. The host was very nice and welcoming, and helped with soap for washing clothes. It was very close to several hiking trails (5 minute walk to start of trail). There was a cat who was very friendly!

    Mathilde2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed staying here and would happily use again. The appartment was very clean and was nice and warm (heating was on before my arrival). Really liked the balcony with its views. Bjørn Eirik was a great host, kindly giving me a lift from Moskenes. Much appreciated as it was raining !

We are locaded in the middel of Reine, its a small and charming traditional fishing village, in between the ocean and the moutains. You can frame this scenery from the windows of all rooms. The house its newly renovated with a modern and clean style. The room have two singel beds that easily can become a couple bed to suit different types of travelers. Hjertelig velkommen.
There are restaurants, cafeteria, gas station and others services like sports, adventure and fishing shop.
  • We had a great time in Reine, it is really a beautiful part of Norway. The apartment was great, everything was clean and it was very central to a restaurant and a small shop. Øyvind and Agata were very nice hosts, giving us advices of how to experience Reine. All in all we had a good time, relaxing and enjoying the nature and some local beer on Øyvinds advice.

    Bruno2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Unless we haven't been able to meet Øyvind and Agatha, we still experienced that they really want to care for their guests. The house is very clean and we did feel comfortable very quickly! Let the outside of the house not scare you off, the inside is very nice and thats all what matters. Fair breakfast included! We do really recommend this place to stay.

  • The room and the entire house were exactly as described. Very confortable. Oyvind and his wife Agatha were very welcoming and made us feel as if we were at home. The breakfast offered was great! Do not hesitate to choose this place to stay if you are visiting Reine. It is an excellent option. If we ever go to Reine again we will for sure stay there again.

  • A cosy and small guest-room in a beautiful house with a nice interior. We could use the kitchen for cooking. Øyvind and his wife even provided us with breakfast, although they weren't there during our stay. We had a good time at Lofoten, Reine.

    Lea2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Øyvind and his wife were great hosts! We stayed with them for two nights and had a nice experience. They provided us with space in the kitchen to store our groceries and had some food for us as well! They also took us to see live music at a Reine restaurant and we were able to meet some locals in the process. I would stay with them again!

  • It was my first time experience with air bnb. Øyvind & Agatha were excellent host!! We went out for Northern light hunting and it was so amazing. The room was nice as in pictures. Our place is located in a beautiful fishing village surrounded by great views, restaurants, art and culture. You’ll love it because of the coziness and the comfy bed. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers or anyone who needs privacy and peace. WiFi included.
Cozy room with all the necessities. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Possibility of additional mattress.
  • Great little apartment. Nice deck. Right at the munkabu trail Head. With other hikes all around. Close to a bus stop and grocery if you don't have a car. Even a great board game selection for rain days. Thanks Marta!

  • Friendly and warm welcome with free pick up at the port, especially when there is no bus at that moment, so thankful, I don't need to walk with my luggage for a long distance ! Thanks so so so much !! Amazingly nice quality room with private bath and well equipped private kitchen plus a joker supermarket close by ! Best life in Lofoten island ! So comfortable, don't want to check out ! Wish I can come back again :-)

  • Irene and her husband were very welcoming and make us feel at home. The location is ideal : only 5 min by foot to the ferry. We had one whole floor for us and a private access. We enjoyed our stay there and we recommend it !

  • Comfortable place. It feels like I visited grandfa's old and cozy home.

    Jeongah2016-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Irene's husband let us in the room. He did not speak any English, but luckily my friend spoke a bit Norwegian, so we were able to communicate with him and had several interesting conversations which we really enjoyed. The room was very cosy, clean, authentic, on a perfect location near the ferry quay. We went on several beautiful hikes of which the trails started fairly nearby. Irene and her husband were very welcoming and warmly and we would highly recommend this place. We would definitely stay here if we would visit Moskenes again. This was the best Airbnb during our trip!

    Lieke2016-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Irene and her family were friendly and really warm. Even though they don't speak much English, communication was good enough for us to understand and they tried their best to communicate with us. The room is actually an entire basement apartment under their house so we had full privacy. There was adequate amenities for usage including basic condiments and coffee and tea. The only issue we had was a few bugs around and we could hear the footsteps from the floor above. The location was good, a short walk from the ferry terminal. Overall it was still a great place and we couldn't reccomend it more.

    Melvin2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Irene's apartment has a great location, very close to the ferry. The apartment is very cosy, equipped with everything you could need. Communication with Irene was very good, even though she doesn't speak English. I will surely come back there. Thank you Irene for your hospitality!

  • Perfect location for our last night before taking the early ferry!

    Kathy2017-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nice/quiet place. Really close to the ferry. Be aware that the direction on Airbnb is wrong (it bring you 2km north of the place). The room is truly 500m away from the ferry (just need to go up the street once going out of the ferry) and go ~200m on the left (White House slightly above the other One).

  • We only spent one night at Viggo's house but it was very pleasant and the place is spacious, clear and fully furnished. The view on Reine, the boats, the sea is charming. Viggo was really helpful and flexible, too bad that we not stayed longer because discussing with him is really interesting.

    Alexis2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Viggo's place is the perfect place to rest between adventures in Lofoten. You are 5 minutes from Reine and have a view of rorbuer, fishing boats, and mountains from your window! Everything is super clean and Viggo and his wife are friendly.

    amanda2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience. Viggo was a very nice host. His apartment is spacious, warm, well-equipped and has a fine view over mountains, harbour, islands, boats and houses. Location is simply brilliant - no only it is in the heart of Reine area (which is one of the, if not THE, most beautiful place in Lofoten), but it is also just a short walking distance from the only supermarket. Fast and reliable internet connection. Good sound isolation from the host's part of the house (when all doors are closed). Convenient parking place. All in all, we were very happy, and hope to return one day.

  • Viggo and his wife were excellent hosts. Very nice people!!! The place was very clean and offered stunning views out every window. This was my first trip where I've tried AirBnB so I wasn't quite sure what to expect exactly. But if every place is like Viggo's, I will definitely be doing this more often now. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Reine area!!!

I am renting out the guest room in my apartment. The room is a small private room with room for three people maximum. The beds can be changed, so it can be 1 small double bed + 1 single bed, or 3 single beds. Perfect location in walking distance both from the Moskenes ferry and the village Å, hikes to Munkebu, etc. Please be aware that the first price you see is for a private room for ONE person :) If you want to stay more people, you have to select this and pay extra.
Fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom/shower, private bedroom. Remember that this is an old building, so everything is not 100% new and shiny. The house has character! And the decoration style is also a bit crazy and unique, so if you looove Ikea, you might not like it here.
The location is perfect for exploring this incredibly beautiful area! Examples: 2-3 hour hike to the top of Tindstind, amazing views. 2-3 hour hike to Munkebu From Reine (1+ hour walk away) you can take a short ferry and reach the amazing beaches Bunes or Horseid. The village Å is 2 km away in one direction, the Moskenes ferry is 2.5 km away the other direction. The village Reine is 5 min away by car, 1 hour walk. There is a very recommendable bar/restaurant just 150 meters from the building. The charming little port is 100 meters away. ' There is a supermarket right across the street.
  • Terje is a wonderful host and his place is funky, fun and convenient! It's a 20 minute walk from Moskenes ferry and is right across from a supermarket. Wonderful hikes are in walking distance. He was extremely helpful and generous, which really added to my experience in Lofoten. I can't recommend him and his place enough!!

  • I stayed a day and night at Terje 's house, the location was perfect as it is close to all attractions and also just 5 min drive to the Bodø ferry, the house is fully furnished, it has a unique and funky design, I loved being there, it also give an extra spice to my trip, I will always remember how different and great it was, the communication with Terje was excellent, he is very helpful and service minded. I strongly recommend the place

• We stayed here for 2 nights upon first arriving in Lofoten. Location was fab, and welcome by Runhild was perfect. The room was newly renovated with lovely decor, such a lovely view, and the bed was so comfy. The place will be even better when fully renovated with kitchen and more bathroom facilities, but it did the trick for the time being. The living room area stocked with coffee, teas and dishes was appreciated. Thanks!

    Michelle2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely house located right in the heart of the village of Reine. It could not be more beautifully located. You get incredible views from the windows/terrace no matter which part of the house you are in. That being said, this is not a fancy place, you share bathroom with other guests which are located downstairs and in the basement, so you need to walk down the stairs to use the bathrooms. Although it was not a problem for us, can be an issue for some people. However even though there were quite a few people staying at the same time as us, we hardly ever had to wait to use the facilities. The only thing I missed in Catogarden was lack of a kitchen, there is a coffee machine and a mini fridge available to guests but no cooking facility at all. Lofoten islands are quite costly and not very vegetarian friendly, so if we had the basic cooking facilities available , it would have helped us a lot, may be just a hot plate and a couple of pans. However please note that Runhild is still working on this place, so may be a kitchen is coming soon. All in all we had a great time at Catogarden and a comfortable stay. Runhild is a lovely host and was always ready to answer all your questions. She gave us great suggestions about what hikes to do and which places to see in Lofoten. If you are not a fancy hotel kind of person, I would definitely recommend this place for you.

  • Runhild is a great host, a kitchen would be great, but you can see that they are working on it.

  • Catogården is a charming property in a truly exceptional town. Runhild has made the place very cozy, and you immediately feel like the place is your own. The fireplace and cappuccino machine definitely help! She even has Norwegian felt slippers for the guests. Met a lot of awesome people and made some great memories.

  • To be in Runhilds house was like getting a gift from heaven. We stayed there for three days and had many wonderful and interesting conversations with her. She knows everything about the surrounding and was very helpful when we had uncommon wishes. The atmosphere she creates makes you feel like being home. The house and the rooms are very tastefully furnished and decorated. You can always have a really good coffee and enjoy a nice fire in the dining room. We've spent quiet a lot of time there playing and chatting with the other guests. We can highly recommend to stay there for more than one night. If we come back to Reine we definitely will come back to Runhilds home. Thank you for this amazing experience.

  • Runhild's house was the lodging highlight of our trip to Norway. The building--the old town hall--sits gracefully overlooking both the water and the enchanting town. Runhild's hospitality was first-rate, the rooms were comfortable, and she continues to make improvements to the house. A fantastic option for those looking to avoid more touristy towns and lodging on the islands.

    David2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lofoten Islands, and specifically Reine is one of the most beautiful places in the world for me. Thanks to Runhild and her family to host me in this beautiful town and showing their hospitality. Definitely recommended..

  • Our room was just lovely with a great view! The bathroom situation is not too comfortable but I am sure this will change soon as the house is currently renovated with a lot of love for the detail. For non-Norwegians the prize might seem high but remember you are on Lofoten and its absolutely worth it!

  • The place is well located between the main places in Moskenesoya and Flakstadoya. Very close to the magnificent village of Reine and Hamnoy (where you can shoot the world famous pic from the bridge). The house is very big! Bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with electrical appliances. Both Kitchen and dining room are quite big and perfectly clean and the Living room very confortable! The bath is large and clean, close to the bedrooms. The host is very nice and friendly. She advices a lot about trekking, activities, resturant and a lot of many other things that can help you having a nice stay and vacation! I raccomend this place!

  • Irene was a great host, quick responding and welcoming. The place was cozy and clean. Check out at 9 am was a little early for vacation standard in my opinion. However I would definitely recommend it.

  • Theresa was a great host. She was kind, generous, and thoughtful. She allowed me to wash my clothes after a long hiking trek and she was very kind about sharing her food, bread, and tea with guests. Her home was beautiful: spotlessly clean, warm, and welcoming. Felt like home! It was only a short drive away from Reine and all other attractions at the end of E10. I would 100% stay with her again.

  • Marthin and his friend Kristian have been really nice in welcoming us at Reine, the first stop of our tour at the Lofoten Islands. The house is warm and confortable, with an accurate vintage style. From the wide windows of the first and the secon floor you have an amazing view on the traditional rorbu near the see and the amazing mountains. The house offers a perfect spot to have a chance to see the northern lights, like we luckily did.

• Runhild’s place is simply perfect in terms on location and setup. Conveniently close to the village square yet tucked away on elevated ground for fantastic views and quiet. She is working on improving the interiors but I did not find anything lacking during my stay. She does her best to make all guests as comfortable as possible which can be seen from the details in place to make the rooms and common spaces really cosy. Runhild is simply a wonderful host/ person. She is warm, bubbly and goes out of her way to be helpful. She is also very prompt in her communication. I would definitely love a return visit.

  • It's really hard to put into words how fantastic this place is. It's an air bnb like no other. Runhild is so so lovely and makes you feel so welcome and at home right from the beginning. The room is so comfortable and a great size. The house is just fantastic - guests come and go all the time so it's such a great way to meet travellers along the way and there is a great living room for having a beer by the fire! I'm so glad I found this place and I can't wait to return

  • It has been a great experience to stay in this house at Reine. The owner is really nice, gives you all the explanations needed to visit the area: hikking, villages, pintoresque locations, bars and food... The house give us very good vibrations, we feel like at home. Next time we will repeat, no doubt!

  • The stay with Runhild was great! We loved the place and enjoyed looking at auroras together with Runhild and the other staff of the house. Everything was well arranged. In the living room is a coffee / tea machine with very good coffee. There are no cooking facilities, but there are cups, plates, bowls and cutlery to use. A fridge is also available. It would have been great if there were some cooking facilities, as it is quite expensive to go out for dinner every night. The green room was perfect: spacious, good bed and a wonderful view over the water. We even saw the aurora from our window! We had a wonderful time in Reine :)

  • It was fantastic to stay at Runhild's place during our visit to Lofoten . The house is located in Reine - the most beautiful village in the entire region and Runhild and her friend are excellent hosts. They had excellent recommendations of where we could eat in the area as well as suggestions for incredible day trips. The Lofoten region is all about hiking and exploring in the mountains, but if you experience bad rainy weather (like we did one of the days!), there is a living room where you can help yourself to tea and coffee and Runhild even made a fire to ensure we had a cozy afternoon. I highly recommend a trip to Reine and to stay with Runhild :)

  • It is a wonderful place to stay in Lofoten. The house locates in the center of Reine, and it is easy to go to other villages. The window view is marvelous, and the furnitures and decorations are comfortable. I can sit on the rocking chair and watch the nice landscape for whole day long. The host Runhild is super nice. There are two free bycicles outside the house for the guests. And you can even attend the yoga class every morning. I hurted my hand by bike riding, and Runhild binded up my wound with care. She even invited me a glass of good wine. And we talked a lot about the cute house and the warm volunteers from all over the world. Such a nice person! I'm sure that I will visit here again. A 100% recommendation!

My location is close to restaurants and eateries, public transportation, kiosk, gallery, sea, the center of Reine .. You'll love my place because of Newly restored fisherman's my inner file of Reine. Rorbuene is very centrally located and screened from view. It's own outside space on private quay ..
  • The place is beautifully situated in front of the sea and Reinebringen. It is a very cozy place with new and modern furniture. It has a nice terrace both at the sea side but also in a more secluded area at the back. All equipment is working as expected and we had a fantastic vacation there. It is a nice base for hiking trips and a trip to Å, Munkebu and Vindstad is recommendable.

  • Very convenient located, 5mins walk to gas station where you have all the basic groceries. 5 mins walk to other direction put you to the best spot to take pictures in Reine. The famous hiking trial to the hill top is another 10mins further. The hut itself is cozy and comfortable. Not huge in space but have all the necessary equipments. The hut is clean and very nicely furnished giving everyone a feeling of home during the stay in Reine. Very nice place and highly recommended

    Paul2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Ketil's place has a magnificent view in the most beautiful little town. The space is small and basic but comfortable and has everything we needed, almost. We didn't notice the cabin doesn't have laundry facilities, that came as a small surprise but it was our own fault. However what we didn't know was the nearest laundry service (we found out through the local info center, Ketil didn't know) is 60km away - which made staying for more than a couple of days with kids inconvenient. Another thing is that guests are expected to do a full clean up, which is fair enough but some cleaning products had run out and not been replenished, which made it challenging. The sound proofing is poor and one of the windows in the lounge had no blinds so when people walk right past outside on the deck they can't avoid but looking in, not the best for privacy but thankfully we only had neighbours for half of our stay. All in all we enjoyed our stay, it's a cute little cabin in a great location. It'll be great if a little more care can be put into the details.

    Claudia2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome location and excellent access to services. Everything was as stated in the description. You can't go wrong with this Rorbu!

    Arturo2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome stay! From the ferry to the house is about a 5 kilometer/3 mile walk or you can take the bus into Reine which puts you really close to the house. The house was nice, and we had a great stay. The pictures from the outside of the house on Airbnb led us to believe we had the whole house, but it is really just half of the whole house which is divided into two units. Nonetheless, the pics on the inside were accurate.. One room with bunk beds and a loft upstairs with additional bed. If you're coming in the summer be sure to bring eye masks as there are not great blackout curtains in the rooms. The house is really close to Reinebringen hike (5 minute walk) which was the prettiest hike we did in Norway even compared to Trolltunga and Kjerag. The space is small but functional and the bathroom and kitchen were both nice. There is a little gas station/mart near the bus stop in Reine which is a 5 min walk from the house or their is a Coop Market on the other side of Reine that has more selections but is a 30 minute walk. Communication with the owner was good and he made getting into the house really easy.

Stay in a room in a characterful house right in the centre of Reine, Norway's most beautiful town, on the Lofoten island of Moskenes. All prices are including bedding, towels, tea, coffee, WiFi and end-cleaning. Please be advised that breakfast is not included in the price. Arts and culture, great views, restaurants and dining and family-friendly activities are all very close by! You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the high ceilings, the views, the location, and the people.
Cosy rooms, with the sea, shops, bus stop and restaurant in the immediate vicinity: Guesthouse "det gamle Hotellet" (the Old Hotel) wishes you a warm welcome all year round. The rooms are located on the first floor with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, the Reinefjord and the marina.
  • The location in Reine is really great, two restaurants across the street and only a 5 minutes walk away from a beautiful view on Reine. The room is spacious but noisy. The bathroom was clean, but shared with the other rooms. I really enjoyed my stay at Reine.

  • Beautiful nature surrounding you.

    Beate2017-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nice location. But the facilities are a bit old, e.g. the bed, sheets and pillows. The house kitchen is not available for guest. This was stated clearly on the website. However we visited at Christmas time. There were no restaurants open in the vicinity, and we struggle to find any hot meal at all. It's disappointing that under such conditions, the owner still wouldn't make an exception for us to use the kitchen.

    Jie2016-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • This location was excellent and Lilian was a wonderful hostess. There are about 5 other bedrooms and up to 10 people share the bathroom, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It was nice chatting with other guests in the common area over tea at the end of the day.

    Sherry2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nice play to stay

    Rex2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • The location is just great: nice view of Reine and the surrounding area, and very close to a great café, different restaurants and a small store. Everything is as described: nice, clean room (though it may be a bit loud as it is an old house - but that's not a problem), large shared bathroom, and a small guest-area with tea & cookies. In times of midnight sun, it is quite bright in the room, as the curtains are rather thin.

    Hannes2017-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • The house is incredibly compact. We have to share a living room, a toilet, to which all the bedrooms are gathered. Therefore, it can be extremely noisy when someone was talking outside your room, since there is only one living room, there are always someone. The caretaker of Lilian, Andrew, is so talkative that filled the house with loud conversations from day to night. Without a kitchen or even a microwave in this house, how do you expect yourself to eat when there is totally no restaurant in Reine? And the price is never cheap considering all alternative houses have at least one kitchen and private toilet for guest. The location is good, anyway.

  • Lofoten is a nice place to visit. The house is 10-15 minutes drive from ferry, just besides the E10. Priceworth B&B in lofoten. Clean room and bath. The most important is the nice people. Got some suggestions about the tour planning.

Sørensens Rorbu (sea house) consists of 2 apartments. The rorbu is located on a small island connected to the road. The view from apartment 1 faces the sea. Good sun conditions throughout the day. The apartment was built in 1986 but has been upgraded somewhat in recent years. We also have boat rental ( only for guests)

  • The house by the sea has a quiet surrounding and lovely few. When the nights were clear we could even see the northern lights from the porch. The rooms and beds are really comfortable and the kitchen is perfect for several people cooking there. Jorunn was very helpful and communication was easy. The place is dedinitely worth seeing, we spent a wonderfull time there!

Cosy apartment in Moskenes. Close to the sea and the mountains. Only 5 minutes walk to the ferry.
  • We are four people including an 11-year-old kid who stayed at Jonas Helle and Simon´s place for 2 nights in July 2017. Their place is very cosy, clean and well-equipped. It takes only 10 minutes to drive to Reine, which is a scenic town with shops and restaurants and ferries to the other sides of the fjords. Jonas Helle and Simon responded to questions very quickly and were flexible with check-in and -out. Simon guided us to the house when we first went there. Their place is highly-recommended!

    Ka Yi2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely spot just a short walk or drive from the ferry dock in Moskenes, with views out over the harbor. Excellent location for exploring the outer Lofoten islands. Place is as described, including good wifi and a washing machine. The upper bunk of the bunk beds is very narrow, but fine for a child.

    Eric2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • My parents had a great time and bragged about the place being clean and nice :)

    Maria2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • A great place in Lofoten. Incredibly convenient to get to from the ferry (walking distance) which was perfect for our late arrival from Bodø. Clean, easy to cook your own meals, large apartment. I would highly recommend

    Kelsey 2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice cottage, with everything you might need. Simon came to show us around and was available when we had questions. The place is clean and cosy. The ferry is close by and by car you can reach Reine and Å in about 10 minutes, so it's a good location to stay if you want to explores this end of the beautiful Lofoten :-)

    Vanessa2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay at Jonas/Simon's place. It is in a good location for catching the ferry, but not very close to other amenities which can make it hard to find food if you're on foot like us. It's a spacious property with plenty of room for 3 to 4, maybe 5 if two couples or using the couch.

    Andrew2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jonas' place was available at last minute. We were planning to hike/camp in Lofoten but the weather turned out to not be so nice. This house was perfect for my husband and I. The bed is comfortable, there is heat in the bedrooms, and the shower is very hot with good water pressure. Also, the house is large with a washer/dryer. The house is only a 2 minute walk from Moskenes Ferry and Moskenes car rental. We loved our stay here. Thank you.

Newly restored older really nice house with Reines best view, with the sea as its closest neighbor! A wonderful view of Reinefjord, is that one painting in flux. Sleeps 6 pers. New kitchen with all equipment. Bathroom with shower. Free wifi. Wood stove that provides warm, cozy house. Big, beautiful sofa that invites innekos the weather was going to be a bit scruffy. Close to all the Lofoten nature. Quiet and secluded location but within easy walking distance to downtown.
Reine! :) Take a flight over the house and Reine to search on youtube for: House Reine
Kayak and boat rentals, shops, restaurants within walking distance. Endless walks if you want the mountains or the sea.
  • Unbeatable view of the fjord and mountains makes you not want to leave the house! But there are many lovely things to do nearby. We bought fresh fish at the Sjomat and cooked in the well equipped kitchen. Also a grocery store is just around the corner or a short walk to Reine. Freddy was very easy to communicate with. I hope to return here some day. Ten out of ten!

    Laura2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a super-charming house with incredible views over the fjord. The bedrooms are very cozy and the kitchen & living room area are comfortable and spacious. All in all a fabulous place to stay

    Rob2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house has definitely an amazing view towards the fjord. Lene and Freddy have been very communicative and helpful. The house is very warm and cozy.

  • Great location, very private, wonderful views, original cottage restored, very comfortable.

    Marion2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Strongly recommend Freddy's house in Reine. Great location for a lot of the more popular hikes in lofoten (Reinebringen, Kvalvika, Bunes). The house itself is very well kept and cozy. Freddy was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process. We had a fantastic time, and will definitely be back when visiting lofoten. Cheers Freddy, Frank and Mary-Lisa

  • Great place ! Great view ! Excellent communication with owners... ee absolutely want to come back !

    Ana2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This red house by the Norwegian Sea is what dreams are made of. We are a family of four and loved our week in July at this house. It's cozy and well equipped. We had a few days of cold, windy, wet weather and were content just enjoying the best views (seriously)of Lofoten right out the living room window. (And kids loved the fact there was fast wifi on our rain days). Really a great location, with a great feeling of remoteness but easy to reach the sights. Highly recommend this house. Freddy was great at communicating and made us feel so welcomed. He arranged a fishing trip with a friend which was very authentic, as we didn't really want a typical tourist tour. Our son caught so many fish and we fed the eagles and got a little tour of the local Fjord. Beautiful hikes are in the area and stunning beaches are a 30 minute drive. The coop grocery is just 3 minutes down the road, which is very helpful as restaurants are on the expensive side. We cooked most meals. It's a far journey from Hawaii but I would strongly consider coming back for the Northern lights and the cod season. Stop looking around and book this house !

    Kelly2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Traveling with my father, it was important to us to have some kind of comfort and peaceful place, but not too remote. "The little red house" of Freddy was just perfect! It has a cosy and comfortable atmosphere, that we enjoyed very much - especially the fire place/oven and the spectecular open view. Freddy and Lene kept kindly in touch, in case we would need anything. So we spent a wonderful week exploring, hiking, reading and sometimes just watching the amazing change of clouds and sun above the Fjord and mountains. Thank you!

  • This airbnb is great for anyone staying in West Lofoten. It is very close to the ferry in Moskenes. It was a little hard to find, but in a very beautiful and peaceful location!

  • Beautiful panoramic view from the house on sea and fjords in the most beautiful part of the lofoten. Very close to everything we needed : hiking trails, ferry, shops. Our little daughter loved the bunk bed (she don't have any at home). And also a very quite neighborhood.

    Cyril2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • All was fine. The place is near the port (ferry) of Moskenes. The host is very friendly. If you have a problem, she answers immediately. The house is suitable for everyone (famille, couple...). Thank you.

    Benjamin2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mariell was extremely helpful and kind. She accepted our request even if she couldn't clean the house, and saved our trip! The house was very nice and cozy and quite close to the harbor. We had a bit of a hard time finding it but that's because it was night and we didn't know the area... It was well equipped and had a nice kitchen and living room with a heater.

    Lisa2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Mariell's cabin was the first place we stayed in the Lofoten trip. The cabin locates by the sea with a cozy sitting room and comfortable bedrooms. Mariell kindly prepared a welcome gift for us and the instruction book for stay. We enjoyed the stay very much.

  • This is honestly the most incredible listing we have ever stayed at. Reine was absolutely beautiful and Leif's place is right on the water with an incredible view. The place is large with many beds and a perfect place to stay if you have 4+ people. I am very happy with our stay and I would tell anybody heading to the lofoten islands to rent this place out for an amazing time.

  • Reine, Lofoten and this house are amazing! If you are staying in Lofoten then you should consider this house for your stay. Amazing location and the perfect house for staying at. You will find everything you need in the house, it was clean, with bed linen and towels provided and it was nice and warm inside. I really have nothing to point out. It was great and we will for sure come back again, the sooner the better. Lofoten is AMAZING! Thank you Leif, we had a great time at your place!

  • We had a wonderful time at the villa! Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences we had. The house is warm and cozy and has absolutely everything we need! I think the actual house looks even better than pictures. We enjoyed the view of the deck and the mountains in the living room while having a tea just sitting back on the cozy chairs feeling all warm and comfortable:)) Location is great too. Reine is a beautiful small town which makes a good base for exploring Lofoten. We went fishing one day and the pier for that fishing tour was only 10km away. Went hiking near spectacular Fredvang too which was only half an hour of drive away. The house itself is near to a supermarket and gas station and a local pub. Though we did not get to meet Hilde in person. She is very kind and easy to talk to. We shall definitely come back to the villa! Highly recommended!

You'll love my place because of the wilds is my inner file of Reine. Rorbuene is very centrally located and screened from view. There are separate outdoor space.
  • Reine is beautiful and the view from the room is incredible. The place is clean and cozy and had everything we needed. Our arrival plans changed several times leading up to our stay but the hosts were very accommodating. They were also quick to respond with helpful answers to any questions we had about local spots, traveling around, etc.

  • Great little house in a very scenic location. It would be useful to have a car when holidaying in the Lofoten Islands.

  • Nearly everything was as expected. The location was ideal for us, but the one con is we had trouble connecting to the Wifi and did not have internet access throughout our stay. Though we contacted the host regarding the Wifi issue, the problem was not resolved.

Elin house is centrally located in the center of Reine, with short distances to the beautiful scenery, fairytale photo ops, a variety of outdoor activities such as kayaking, rafting and hiking, scroll to the mighty Reinebringen. The house has plenty of space, and sleeps up to 6 people. You will wake up every morning and go to bed at night to a wonderful view. Enjoy your morning coffee on a small balcony while pulling in fresh and clean air Lofoten! The house is suitable for couples, but is also suitable for children. Welcome to Elin house !;)
  • Excellent location and setup with plenty of room for 6 people. We had a fantastic time in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. From the midnight hikes of the Reinebringen to kayaking the fjords of Vorfjorden there are plenty of things to do outside and a comfortable place inside for those days that may be raining. One more ticked off my bucket list. Highly recommended for anyone.

  • We enjoyed our stay in Elinhuset! The house is perfect for 6 persons, and the location is perfect for a vacation on beautiful Lofoten. The area is beautiful, and day trips to for example Svolvær is a possibility. Reine is perfect for hiking, fishing and cayaking. The kitchen had everything we needed except some lagre pots. The beds are comfortable. It might be useful to know that the bathroom is in the basement, and the stairs are quite steep. We enjoyed our stay, and would strongly recommend Elinhuset!

  • It's hard to over-state the beauty of this area. The house is located in the center of Reine and is well appointed, spacious, and comfortable. Håkon was an excellent host. It was a perfect base to explore the islands for our family of four.

    Anne2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • We very much enjoyed our stay here. Reine has been dream vacation for 15 years. The home is a big rustic, but that is what makes it perfect. I would highly recommend this home to anyone seeking a quiet relaxed stay. The home is older and has steep stairs, so i would not recommend this to travelers who are out of shape, handicapped or extremely overweight. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and the bathroom is in the basement, so just be aware. It was not a problem for us at all.

    Adam2017-07-14T00:00:00Z

  • Hakon and Gretta were great hosts as they drove us to the ferry terminal and supermarkets when we needed. It was truly a great help as we had luggage. Also, Hakon always responded in a timely manner and was very helpful throughout our stay. Location of the house is rather convenient as it is a short walk away from Circle K. House is very well-kept. House has three floors, with the bedrooms on the second floor, living room and kitchen (with the necessary equipment) on the ground floor and the bathroom and washer in the basement.

Great renovated house with plenty of room for 6 people. The house has most of the amenities and is well located by the sea. Private garden, terraces and barbecue at guests' disposal. Free parking, WiFi plus bicycle. The bathrooms have Jacuzzi and shower.
Reine is unique in Lofoten. And one can see much of the local community is built on. The place was once voted the most beautiful place. Here are high stypbratte mountains surrounding Reine, public boat shuttle that takes you into the fjords where you can experience local orginaliteter the long white sandy beaches.
The neighborhood is quiet and calm, and it lives only 2-3 families in the inn's proximity. The patio at the rear of the house is completely secluded. Here you can relax, sunbathe, have a barbecue and eating. Food can be delivered straight from the kitchen and out to the patio.
  • Absolutely wonderful host who is quick to respond and easy to work with. He was very accommodating with our change in plans. The house itself is spacious, immaculate, and in a wonderful location. Highly recommended!

  • The house is in a good position in Reine - a few steps from the local COOP and a few minutes from the town "centre". There is enough space for 5 - 6 people, a well equipped kitchen and a big and spacious bathroom. Everything is new, the walls are decorated with Steve's paintings, the pictures give an accurate impression of how everything looks. Check-in was perfect. It is advisable to have a car, especially in Winter. A second toilet would be helpful, especially when 6 people share the house. Apart from that everything is perfect.
