  • Had a fantastic stay for 4 nights in Bangor. Ideally situated between locations with lots to see and do locally. The apartment was modern, clean and had thoughtful touches throughout, with a great view of Snowdon, me and my partner couldn’t be happier. Clare was responsive in her communication and provided a lovely stay for us. We have never visited Bangor before and wasn’t sure what to expect, however we had a fantastic trip and It was Improved massively by the lovely cozy apartment. 10/10 from us.... Thank you Clare!

    David2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Clare’s place is brilliantly appointed, with some particularly handsome artwork. Super clean and with easy parking away from the street. Her communication was excellent and speedy. Highly recommended.

  • Clare’s place was perfect for a single occupancy. She was easy and quick to communicate with, especially when I had trouble turning on the washing machine or shower, amongst other small things. She also made sure the heating and some lights were on upon my late arrival and left me extra towels and bed linen as I stayed there for 10 nights. Will definitely recommend it for someone looking for a welcoming place to stay near Bangor city centre.

A cosy town apartment right in the centre of the charming harbour town of Porthmadog. Only a 5-minute walk to the famous steam trains of the Welsh Highland and Festiniog Railways, as well as being beside the town centre for easy access to pubs and restaurants. Two bedrooms and a spacious living area with all modern amenities. Parking for one car in secure parking area. Great shower, fast internet and cosy underfloor heating. Perfect accommodation for town pleasures or country escapes!
Easy access to the beautiful Snowdonia National park for hiking, dog walking, biking and other wild or gentle pursuits. This is the ideal location for town convenience and wild country vacationing!
  • Exceptionally clean and well equipped apartment. Mirka's special touches of wine, fruit and welsh cakes were gratefully received. Position was perfect for the trains but unfortunately they were not operating in February but that will give us an excuse to return in the summer. 40 minutes from Snowdon but lovely scenery on the way. The Australian bar opposite the apartment served delicious food and a variety of real ales. Purple Moose a favourite. We would highly recommend Mirka's place.

    David2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Mirka’s place is well located within the town, tucked away so it feels private. The check in was so easy as clear instructions had been shared beforehand. The apartment itself is stylishly furnished, with all the facilities we needed. Communication was spot on and we even had chocolates, fruit and wine to greet us. Since the underfloor heating wasn’t working at the time, the hosts had arranged for electric heaters and had pre-heated the space - a really thoughtful touch.

  • Wonderful place. Comfortable, everything you need and great views.

    Rosie2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation is as described by Richard and fully equipped for a stay of any duration. Would recommend to anyone travelling to North Wales. Within an hour you have Snowden, portmeirion and from the apartment spectacular views of Anglesey and the Menai Strait. We will almost certainly return when we visit the area again. Would also recommend the Swellies cafe for an excellent breakfast and decent coffee with a 5 minute walk.

    Charlene2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is an absolute gem. It’s location is superb with the most stunning views from the large and spacious living area across the Menai Straits towards Anglesey. The decor is tasteful and all amenities that we needed for a 5 day break were provided. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this amazing space to others.

    Louise2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a fantastic stay over the Christmas period. Apartment is in a beautiful location, overlooking the Menai straight and there is easy access to the Welsh Coastal Path. Very clean and modern flat, had everything we needed.

    Tara2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a real pleasure it was to stay in this apartment. Everything was immaculate - sparkling and stylish. The view is to die for, especially at sunset. The small things make a difference like cosy blankets for the evening and the use of a washing machine and dishwasher. Great location for exploring and doing different activities. The recommended swellies cafe is worth the 2 minutes around the corner for a brill breakfast. The shower wasn't powerful, however it was hot so we can't complain with heated towel rail. Would definitely recommend this apartment to others. Thanks for a great stay!

For local places to eat The Last Inn or Davey Jones Locker are particularly good and we highly recommend The Mermaid for fabulous Fish and Chips!
  • Great place!

    Joanna2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The amazing view from this apartment makes it an outstanding place to stay - especially if, like us, you are venturing to the coast in February with the unpredictable weather this entails. We arrived mid Storm Dennis, but once we had climbed up the (very) steep streets through the wind and rain we found a cosy, warm sanctuary in Victoria's stylish and comfortable flat from which to watch the ever-changing skies through the huge window. Looking out to sea over the rooftops we saw fantastic storm clouds come and go, blue skies, spectacular sunsets, a lifeboat launch drill, crashing waves, moving sand-dunes... who needs a TV when you have all this to watch? (NB. there is a TV anyway!) The flat is small but it's design feels spacious, with a great use of mirrors and a clever layout. A remarkably well-equipped kitchen for a holiday rental, ( ...cheese grater and colander!), and a lovely welcome pack of chocolates, nibbles and Prosecco. We had a few dry(er) days during our week and were able to do some lovely walks up over the hills, some right from the doorstep and some by catching the train along the coast (station is 5 minute walk), taking in fields and forests, ancient standing stones, coastal and mountain views. In fact we ditched out car altogether for this holiday, travelling to and from Barmouth by train - amazingly it's on a direct rail route from the Midlands so really easy to get to. Barmouth itself has a good selection of shops, cafes (try the Belle Vue for great coffee and cake), restaurants and pubs (the Last Inn is cosy and welcoming) and lots of history. Beware before you go that there is no wifi, so download anything you need in advance, but phone reception is fine and there is a DVD player so pack a box-set for the evenings!

    Sarah2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect little haven in Barmouth! The view and outdoor seating area is fantastic, the apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, has everything you could possibly need and Victoria was a thoughtful, attentive and lovely host. A perfect example of how Air BnB should work!

    Sarah2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Had an amazing time. Beautiful views, even when it’s raining! The apartment was very cosy, perfect for what we wanted. Loved the welcome pack. Will definitely be visiting again!

    Athena2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place with fantastic view. There is a 5 minute walk up a very steep hill from the town centre but it’s all worth it for the views. Nice extra touches with nibbles and Prosecco.

    Peter2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful gem of a place to stay...would deffo come back! The views from this place are simply stunning! It is a great location too; less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, The Dinas Olei walk is literally around the corner and Barmouth bridge is about a 10 min away. There are shops and places to eat only 5 mins away. Car parking was also easy to find (about 5 mins away...although this was in off peak season so may be a bit busier in peak season. It was about 8 pounds for 24 hours) Victoria was quick to respond and always happy to help! The place was clean and well equipped. In particular, the kitchen was well equipped (and had little touches such as cooking oil and herbs etc) to really make it feel like cooking at home.

    Gurpreet2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • No words could possibly describe how beautiful this apartment is. The view from the patio area is absolutely breathtaking, it has wonderful chairs for you to relax on while you take in the view. The apartment itself is stunning, it has been decorated wonderfully, it’s warm, cosy and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable, so much so that we didn’t want to get out of it the next day! I could not recommend Victoria enough, she replied immediately to my special request and we had our stay booked within minutes. She checked that everything was ok throughout which shows how much she cares for her visitors. I will definitely be booking with Victoria again, and cannot stop telling my family and friends about my amazing stay. Thank you for everything.

  • This apartment was perfect for our stay - the view was absolutely gorgeous... it didn’t even matter that it was pouring with rain as we were so snug inside and happy to just watch the rain fall. The apartment has everything you need - Diane is so generous that you won’t really need to bring anything with you aside from food. The design of the place is great, and our dog loved it as well. It’s quite relaxing knowing the place is set up to cater for dogs. The walk to the beach is literally 2 minutes down the street and the town itself is lovely. We’d happily stay there again!

  • Myself and my brother had a fantastic stay in Diane’s apartment. The location is perfect as a base if you plan to climb Snowdon as we did, and there are shops and pubs etc very close by. The apartment itself appears recently renovated. It’s stylish and spotless! Diane’s place is dog friendly, but if it wasn’t for the dog beds and other goodies then you would never guess that it was as it is so clean and fresh smelling. We ourselves do not have dogs but we didn’t find this to be an issue whatsoever. There was everything you could possibly need and it’s cosy and modern all in one. We will definitely be returning! Diane assured us that she would be available to help if we needed anything and she gave us very helpful and detailed instructions for our arrival. Overall brilliant stay! Thanks Diane!

    Jonathan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment has been recently refurbished and is well located on the high street. I would definitely stay here again. We had a lovely time. The ice cream and pizza shop downstairs is great too and super friendly staff. We will be back!

  • This is a fantastic place to stay, great location and the house is a great standard. Would definitely stay again

    Rachel2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn’t recommend this house more. A very modern yet homely two storey apartment which has everything you could ever wish for and more. Little touches like the dog gates at the stairs and dog beds/blankets made the stay extra special. It was immaculately clean inside with all the utilities (and even milk!) provided. Great location right in the centre of town yet extremely quiet inside. The ice cream store downstairs is absolutely worth a visit! The staff are super helpful and the puddings are delicious. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for the weekend!

    Benjamin2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation seems as though it has recently been refurbished and much thought has gone into how this has been done. The milk on arrival along with the great selection of teas was very welcoming after a long commute. It is within a good distance of Mount Snowdon.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Diane's accommodation. I felt incredibly lucky to have found she had availability for the dates I required. We arrived aft a long journey frm London to find an immaculately clean ,warm comfortable home It is evident when you walk frm room to room that Diane is a superb host. She has thought of everything. The entire property is freshly decorated , it is tastefully furnished with each room complimenting each other. It is an easy home to stay in, bathrooms are spacious with storage and space to place your items. The kitchen is well equipped but uncluttered and again easy to use, pristinely presented but relaxed feel. Diane has provided a generous amount of very interesting teas and so kindly supplied as with the very much needed items i.e milk etc that we all appreciate on arrival after a long journey. Beds are beautifully made with attractive bed linen. Mattresses, pillows were all comfortable. Lovely soft bouncy white towels in abundance. Utility room with the luxury of a tumble dryer and washing machine. Iron and ironing board easily accessible. The lounge was very spacious , lots of comfortable seating , low lights that enhanced the already relaxed atmosphere that Diane has so carefully created. Large dining table with chairs. I would highly recommend Dianes property to anyone. We all had a very comfortable relaxing time. Our age range was 34 to 84 .There were five of us staying. The accomodation is perfectly located for the pretty Porthmadog high street. Close to the beautiful steam railway which we could hear ! Lovely park opposite and a fabulous coffee , ice cream desert parlour just beneath. Handy shops nearby and the backdrop of mountains , perfection. All in all a beautiful home to stay in, tastefully , carefully well thought out accommodation. Do stay , don't hesitate to book , before it is snapped up by others !

  • We had a great time at Diane's place. It was extremely comfortable and clean. The place is immaculately kitted out with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. We felt right at home. Diane is very welcoming and provided us with some tasty tea samples. It was an ideal place to come back to after climbing Snowdon. It is also a short drive away from Black Rock Sands Beach.

The Melville Suite is a beautiful, unique space on the top floor of our Victorian townhouse which is located on a quiet residential street in the heart of Llandudno.
We have recently and lovingly renovated this entire top floor space of our home and have provided everything we can think of to make it an enjoyable and memorable stay. We love it up here, we hope our guests do too.
We love living here! Everything Llandudno has to offer is within walking distance. Our current favourite bar is 3rd Space on Clonmel Street (great food too), we also recommend Tapps micropub on Madoc Street and The Snowdon on Tudno Street. • Marie's apartment was absolutely perfect. The location was amazing and the views were really outstanding. She was so quick to reply and helped us so much while planning our trip. I would highly recommend this place.

  • Fantastic location, lovely big spacious property, would definitely stay again.

    Tracy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location and property was truly 5* standard! Big space with 3 bathrooms and personal touches made it feel very homely and cosy. I would have expected to pay twice the rate for the standard.

    Jonathan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent facilities in a very good location. Would highly recommend..

    James2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay here as a group of 4 adults and 1 child. Tea coffee and cake waiting on arrival, very easy check in and directions for parking. Very clean throughout and comfortable beds. The terrace has an incredible view. Will definitely be back.

    Rebecca2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Marie's place is to be highly recommended for many reasons...space - 3 bathrooms was such a bonus, facilities, cleanliness and location. Plus Marie is readily available to assist with any problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Neutrally decorated throughout and slap-bang in the middle of the wonderful and beautiful town of Conwy. World Heritage Sight, gateway to Snowdonia and jewel in the North Wales crown.
  • The location is superb and the value for money is unbelievable if you compare it to the hotel about 6 doors up the road. For a fraction of the cost you get your own accommodation spread over 2 floors with generous sized rooms. Communication from the host Rob is excellent and will answer any questions promptly and made us feel very relaxed as newcomers to Airbnb. We will definitely use again!

    Richard2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rob was an amazing host, anything that I needed, responded within the hour. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in an ideal location, central.

    Cesar2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Rob’s place and will definitely be back. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Amazing location, at the heart of everything on High Street. Easy check in and check out. You can park outside whilst you unload/load up vehicle but then you will need to move to an overnight car park but plenty around £5 for 24 hours. I used mount pleasant up the road. Plenty of pubs, places to eat etc. Just be careful of the pesky seagulls! They stole my kids whole unopened tray of chips. Rob the host was helpful, all my questions I asked answered before trip.

We have two newly refurbished bedrooms, a shower room and a small seating area with a table and chairs. We provide tea, coffee & milk. There is a small fridge and a kettle. There is no kitchen.
The rooms have just been refurbished. The interior has a country style. One of the rooms has an unobstructed view of the Menai Straits and view of Snowdonia National Park in the distance. The other room looks into the courtyard, but the corridor outside the room has the mountain view. Both rooms have exposed beams and a lot of character.
The views from this house are truly stunning.
  • Great location. And amazing view

    Andrew2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a view! Unbeatable! Waking up to the sun rising over Snowdonia with the horses in the field in front of the cottage, was the perfect setting for restful break (the photos online do not do this justice). We visited for a long weekend as a family of four, with two young boys. The cottage is perfect for a mini break. A great place with all the necessities for a suitable base. The decor is stylish and modern with rustic charm. The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy, especially in the colder evenings. The additional breakfast was a lovely touch and being in a remote area, very helpful with two children. The area is ideal for exploring. Granted our weather was exceptional, making the area so accessible and offering a lot to do for our young family - beach walks, zoo, steam trains and mountains! But I’m sure it is still as impressive in the colder months. Everything is so local and easily accessible within half an hour by car. Sally & John provided great communication prior to our stay. On arrival they were very kind and welcoming; having the heating on for our arrival in a cold afternoon was much appreciated! I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a mini break to a longer stay, whom is looking for a high standard of holiday from start to finish. We will definitely be back to visit again! Thank you Sally!

  • Lovely spacious and clean apartment 😊

    Siobhan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rhian & Eleri’s place is situated in a great location, right in the heart of Llanrwst. There are plenty of food options (in or out) within 5mins walk. Myself and my friends did not explore the area outside of walking so can't comment on other activities, but the walking from the doorstep is 5*. The place itself was lovely, simply furnished, but with enough seating in the sitting room and dining room to comfortably sit 6, all of us found the beds comfy as well. I would definitely recommend Rhian & Eleri’s place if you are looking for a base camp to explore the surrounding area.

    Samuel2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
