Homes & Vacation Rentals in Grove City

Grove City Vacation Rentals

Just booked in Grove City

Spacious home with 20 foot ceilings in the great room, 2 fully enclosed bedrooms with an additional loft bedroom, 2 full baths, everything clean and new. Less than 2 miles off of I-80 but you wouldn't be able to tell by the cozy, rural setting.
My home has an open floor plan with lots of light (optional, I have curtains/blinds). The home is new and I keep it very clean. This is my primary residence but I'm not here a lot so you get the comfort of an actual home without the annoyance of a home owner on the scene. The beds in the master and first guest room are both high quality (and super comfortable) with pillow toppers - the bed in the loft is an IKEA futon with a feather top - I've slept in it and I'd take it over most other beds any day of the week. There's a large bathtub and shower stall in the master bath (my shower will knock you over. I'm not kidding - it's awesome, read the reviews!) and a full shower/bath in the second bathroom. I have 2 car attached garage which you can park in - major bonus in the colder months. This home is in a very private neighborhood that sits less than 2 miles from interstate 80 with easy access to all of the Youngstown area, Hermitage, Sharon, and New Castle. VERY safe/quiet area right outside of Amish country. There's a grocery store, gym, and several charming restaurants within a few blocks. You could walk it if you were feeling frisky but they're all a short drive. I take an extreme amount of pride in my home and wish I could spend more time here. I do this to make ends meet but I also love having guests here that enjoy it when I can't!
Safe, private, gorgeous rural area, close to a grocery store, some great "small town" restaurants, and a gym. Easy highway access.

  • Our host was very good he gave us our privacy and at the same time if we needed anything we just needed to give him a text He was very responsive. On the night that we came, we texted him and he texted us back right away. we were very happy with the BnB We would stay there again. We felt the neighborhood was safe and very centrally located to everything we needed to see and everywhere that we wanted to go. The price is very economical and we really liked having our own apartment

  • Cesar's place is exactly as advertised. It was comfortable, clean, centrally located and a good deal. He was a great communicator and a good host.

  • Enjoyed our stay.

    Meg2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful old home, situated on busy street. Clean spacious home with comfortable bed. Functional, small bathroom. Did not meet Cesar in person but he was easy to communicate with, providing all required information needed. Only negative was the street noise for someone use to a quieter area.

    Donna2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Accurate description. House is old and showing so. But it was clean and he provided a cot for an extra guest. Easy communication. Thank you!

    LeeAnn2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cesar was an amazing host, he made everything less complicated when we arrived. We didn't have to worry about meeting him in person. The bed was a little hard but it sleeps very well. The porch was really relaxing in the evenings. The bathroom was really well cleaned and also the kitchen. The place actually smelled nice and clean. The black out curtians were awesome. Also the extension cords were wonderful in the bedroom. The shower was pretty small. We figured out that taking showers at odd times seemed to be better with getting warmer water. The place is close to a lot of good places to eat. The parking area was a little hard to find and my car would scrap every time we pulled in or out. It was still very fun and relaxing. We would stay again.

    Shonae2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Good value for the money. Easy check in and out.

    John-Patrick2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • We don't regret our choice to stay here at all. Cesar accepted the request immediately, shared information about the apartment promptly, and followed up on details like a second WiFi password (for a second network) on his own accord. The photos do represent the apartment/suite appropriately, although I will say that it's somehow more comfortable in person than one might expect. Everything was clean and in working order and there were more than enough sheets, blankets, plates etc. The porch was only slightly bittersweet, as the house itself is located on a main road, but it's more than enjoyable at night and early morning. It's a bonus either way you look at it. Just a note in case you are reading this: It's easy to forget that you're supposed to park in the back, and in case his notes don't mention it, the lockbox for the key is in the front of the ground floor apartment.

  • This place worked out great for us being so close to Grove City College – you could actually walk to the college if you choose (10-15 minutes). We really liked the quaint neighborhood very quiet at night for sound sleep. Becky was a very gracious host who gave us all the privacy we needed, but was available to go above and beyond to help us when asked.

  • Great spot for a weekend in Grove City! Just a short walk to the campus and other spots in town.

    Veronica2016-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Becky was a fantastic host. Very accommodating on a thanksgiving day arrival and went out of her way to check in and help. The house was a 7 minute drive to the outlets so it was very convenient

    Damian2016-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • I was so happy to find Becky's place when planning my trip to Grove City. The room was quiet and cozy with a private entrance. Both the bedroom and private bath were spotless ! The bed was very comfortable and got a peaceful nights sleep! Becky's messages were friendly and she even checked on me during my drive home! Will stay again if I am in the Grove City Pa area!

    Leone2016-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was an excellent place to stay, thanks for having us!

    Nicole2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • It was great, Becky was careful to make sure I had what I needed and greet me when I arrived. She even went so far as to let me use her kitchen to make my breakfast. She also went bike riding and walking with me. I would not have been able to do these things without her help. I came to work on family history and her set up of a desk and chair fit my needs perfectly. If I go to the area again and she is available I will definitely stay with her again.

Our location and fabulous neighbors are the best. It really is all about location! We are across the street from Grove City College, and just a couple blocks from Olde Town
  • Ask her for clearly marked "Do Not Use" information for dishes and perhaps any cooking items...also a marking in the refrigerator for food placement If you plan to keep food at this airbnb. The home was clean and Amanda was a personable and pleasant hostess.

  • We would highly recommend this beautiful, historic home in the heart of Grove City. The house was very spacious and comfortable for our family. Amanda was easy to communicate with and check in/check out was a breeze. Our favorite part of the house was the 3rd floor family room. Amanda, thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

  • Deb was flexible with check in time, a pleasure to meet and chat with- such a warm, amiable lady! The farm house was cozy, room was neat, bed warm and comfortable. She has beautiful horses that she let me look at. Deb also kindly offered to make me breakfast, her blueberry pancakes are amazing. Felt safe and welcome. Wonderful hospitality, would stay here again if ever in the area.

    Caroline2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Country Acres. Deb was such a wonderful hostess. We enjoyed walking around the farm, and the breakfasts we had we're amazing. Would definitely stay there again!

    Terry 2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Nice rustic place on a horse farm. Great value and Deb is a great host! The pancakes, French toast and bacon were also excellent! I would stay again if in the area.

    Eric2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Deb was an awesome host! I'm so grateful to her for opening her home to us and making us feel so welcome. Her property was a slice of heaven. There were so many trails to wander about. She definitely has a passion for her horses and was cool enough to let us feed and pet them, she even offered a lesson when I asked!!! I got the best sleep ever at the secluded cozy ranch. It was so peaceful and I woke up every morning to the smell of fresh breakfast which she was preparing and keeping warm for when we were ready, no pressure no rush for anything. The first day she made us blueberry pancakes from scratch and the second day the best french toast I've had in years! I really enjoyed this unique experience of sharing her home and having it feel like we were welcome guests as opposes to the sterile modern environment which seems to be the trend these days. My boyfriend, a city boy, told me that he missed being there after we left. Great place with lots of heart!

    Si2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Debs place is a bit rustic. Deb is a warm hospitable person. Deb cooks a great breakfast ! We will stay with Deb again.

    Michael2017-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely no frills but the price and hospitality are great. Breakfast was very good. Overall, it definitely beats paying $80-$100 to stay in a local hotel.

    Annemarie2017-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Deb's property is a veritable resort! First, there is the very charming, yet understated farmhouse, which we found very nice and accommodating. The bedroom was simple and comfortable. Deb prepared a delicious breakfast for us and I learned a new, better way to make bacon! The surroundings are phenomenal!!! The property is deeply surrounded by woods and is otherwise used for campgrounds. Deb explained that she has all levels of camping available, from a cabin with water and electricity, to the most primitive camping. We went on hikes through the woods and it was awe inspiring. It was so peaceful to be away from city noise, air and water! The farm also has gorgeous horses. Deb said she would take us riding, but we weren't really there long enough to accept. Next time though! There are also lovely animals on the farm, such as an adorable farm cat who likes to live in the woods. Also, there is Ghostie, a sweet little cat; Oliver the dog and Rita, the chicken. It was all so nice, it was surreal!

  • Such a great stay! From the moment we pulled up, Mike made it very welcoming! Beautiful property and amenities! Highly recommend this place. Look forward to staying here again! Lindsey

    Lindsey2016-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Mike is a great host, he had the outside fire burning when we arrived and told us everything necesarry to know of the house. He also told us nice things to do in the neighbourhood. In The Netherlands we have the saying: 'It was very clean, you could eat from the floor' For this house the saying fits. It was very clean and very nice! We regret we couldn't stay longer. Great recommandation!

    Leja2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Mike gave me a warm welcome on my arrival. He had built a wood fire in his backyard fire circle. At first I drove right past his place, a modest looking trailer close to the Interstate, and on into Harrisville about 4 miles away (I should have plugged the full address into my navigation). The accommodations turned out to be wonderful-- large, beautifully furnished and immaculate. With 2 nice bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms, it's a terrific place to stay for up to 4 people. One small drawback is the location. There was only one non-chain restaurant in the vicinity, and it closed at 8 pm, minutes before I got there. To sum up, Mike is a very congenial and knowledgable host, and his place is an excellent value. Highly recommended!

    Robert2016-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mike was an amazing host! He held great communication during the booking and checking in process, and kept the home extremely clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

  • Mike's place was just as advertised and offered a great environment that relax and recharge in.

    Courtney2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Mike was a wonderful host! Communication was easy before and during the stay and he was a pleasure to work with. Loved my weekend at this listing. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Fire pit was awesome and a really nice add-on. Would definitely recommend others to stay here!

    Vijay2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Mike met us at the location and had been in communication with us to determine our ETA while we traveled. He was visibly excited to greet us when we got there and his ready smile and general demeanor set us immediately at ease with the new experience as guests in an Airbnb. Mike is an experienced host and we could tell he had the situation well in hand. Everything about the extensive listing was just as described, right down to the cooking tools hanging on the post by the fire-pit. The smell of wood smoke from the fire welcomed us to the back yard where there is ample parking, even for a pickup pulling a small utility trailer. Even though this location is more or less in my hometown, it was a new experience to see what it was like to live in a different part of the community. We were visiting family in the area and we needed a place to stay nearby and this was a great alternative to the chain style hotels there. We arrived early in the afternoon and he gave us a key so we could return later after our activities. This made it so easy for us to return late in the evening, and he had all the lights on when we got back there after dark. It seemed like Mike thinks of his guests like they are family, we really felt like we were his top priority.

We had a blast on the golf carts, laughing and talking in the living room with the most beautiful views ever, and walking around the property! Highly, highly recommend this for any large group gathering!

  • This property was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for my siblings and I to take my mom to celebrate her 60th birthday. We enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend kayaking, golf carting, and enjoying the beautiful views, decks, and fire pit with my mom and dad, siblings, and our babies. The babies (ages 1, 2, and 3) absolutely LOVED riding around in the golf carts and watching the birds on the pond. The house was very clean and Tracie has thought of so many things to make the stay easy and enjoyable, from a well-stocked kitchen to extra gas for the non-electric golf cart. She also let us check-in early and leave late since no one was staying before or after us, so we had more time to enjoy the property. We had a fabulous time and hope to return someday!

  • The house was beautiful and very spacious! Everything we needed was provided (linens, towels, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc). The directions for how to use things in the house were great, too. My family gathered there from several states for a family wedding in the area and we had a wonderful reunion and visit. Lots of fun toys for the kids to play with, space to run around, and the amazing barn on the property with games (ping pong, air hockey, etc). Perfect spot for a family reunion and excellent with small children.

This super clean house had a ton of comforts - good beds, brand new hardwood floors, modern appliances, flat-screen TVs in living room, basement and bedrooms. The farm animals and pond were very nice to look at. Our teenage kids had fun playing pinball, air hockey, ping-pong and other games in the party barn. That party barn would be a great place to have a family gathering in the future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!

  • Beautiful scenery, farm animals, comfortable & roomy home, acreage and large barn full of games & recreational activities (pool, ping pong, ski ball, etc). What more could you ask for? Our daughter was married this weekend at Rustic Acres, and having the farm as our home base was both convenient and relaxing over a busy & potentially stressful weekend.

  • We stayed at Theresa's farm to celebrate the birthdays of several friends. The house had room to spare for 10 of us +1 baby. It seems like it would be great for groups with children too, lots of play space in the house, the barn, and places to explore on the farm. There were some super friendly dogs who were our constant companions for the weekend. Not gonna lie, I fell in love. The house is so nice and has everything you could want. It's well built, so that sound doesn't travel too easily. We didn't have to worry about waking the baby with our loud late-night conversations. The party barn is AWESOME, lots of great games to play. The hot tub is amazing, in a beautifully built stone gazebo space a few steps from the house. It's really well maintained and very clean. Our group enjoyed tromping around the farm and visiting the animals. We also drove into town for a cider tasting at Knockin Noggins, which was really great! If you're looking for a secluded country setting with enough room and fun to keep your big group of kids entertained (or in our case kids-at-heart), this is the place! (One note - be sure to bring boots with you if you plan to explore the farm. It gets muddy! We were glad to have our 'play clothes' with us so we could enjoy ourselves!)

  • We stayed at the FarmHouse for 3 weeks. 7 people on a business trip. Everything from the entrance, to the fresh eggs, the spa, the spacious rooms, was perfect. The host answered really quickly to our request. The goats and chickens were really friendly. The near little town of Volant was also really charming. We already miss the place!

    erik2017-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great spacious home to house 10 people, including three kids. We were in the area to attend the funeral nearby of my wife's sister. Game room in the barn was just what the doctor ordered after a very stressful day. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Press pause and relax in our small country farmhouse located on a picturesque rural road within view of the Covered Bridge. Shopping, antiquing, fishing, walking, and great dining are all within minutes from home or just nestle in with a good book because there is no tv or Wi-Fi.
There are 3 bedrooms, (main bedroom upstairs and you have to walk through it to get to the other upstairs bedroom), two baths {one with tub and shower and the other old fashion clawfoot tub with hand held shower. The water pressure upstairs is adequate but not strong, and the two showers should not be used simultaneously, living room, and equipped kitchen decorated in a country style. There is no central heat or air conditioning, but there is a air/heat unit in kitchen which radiates to the rest of the downstairs, and air/heat unit in upstairs bedroom. The house is simple, cozy, and clean. There is no basement so bring warm socks as the floors will be cool in the winter.
Guests remark about how quiet our location is. We are in the country with no close neighbors, no street lights, and a field out the kitchen window. We have 2 dusk to dawn lights if you prefer to have the outside more illuminated. There is a Covered Bridge within walking distance and also an abandoned railroad bed to walk or ride your bike on. Basically, it is simple, country living.
  • We loved staying at Kathryn and Jack's farmhouse. They gave us a warm welcome, Kathryn showed us around the house, and they were available if we needed anything. The house was adorable and cozy--and so quiet! They also stocked the fridge with essentials for us, which was so nice. The fall foliage provided us with some lovely scenery for walks with our pup, and it was fun being close to Volant. It was the perfect weekend getaway for us, and we'd be happy to stay at the farmhouse again sometime.

    Julie2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Kathryn's place. The place was so cozy and comfortable. Really perfect! Hope we can make it back one day!

    Hannah 2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • The house was exactly as it appears in the photos, and Kathryn and Jack exceeded my expectations by quickly attending to questions and providing thoughtful touches such as freshly baked Amish bread. An overall lovely experience.

  • The farmhouse was everything and more! Very clean, spacious and wonderfully decorated. Truly enjoyed the peace and quiet. We loved the jam and croissants and fruit that was left for us for breakfast. Loved seeing the fireflies at night.

  • We had a great stay! It was just what we needed for a weekend away! The hosts were fantastic and easy to communicate with! We would definitely stay again

    Ch2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • The breakfast and extras was a great addition to our stay! We loved being close to family with all the amenities of home. The farmhouse had everything we needed and everything we didn't. We loved being able to get away and unplug and reconnect with our family.

    Lauren2016-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • we stayed at the farmhouse during christmas. the house, which is already delightful, was tastefully decorated for the holiday. we arrived very late, after midnight, and still kathryn and jack were there to meet us. they even left fresh fruit and bread for us! what made the place a treasure is the remote setting and the absolute quiet. we really wanted peace and stillness for our christmas time stay, and that's exactly what we got. not having television or wifi was a blessing. the house was just big enough for the three of us. although there is no central heating, we were plenty warm thanks to the space heaters that are in the house and the extra blankets that were provided.

    Douglas2016-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kathryn and Jack were welcoming and accommodating. They were very good about communicating with us and making sure we had everything we needed. Cozy, clean, and private. It had everything we needed.

The home is situated on 13 acres of land bordering both sides of the Neshannock Creek. With towering old growth forest on all sides, you truly connect with nature. The property boasts exclusive access to the Neshannock Creek, including a creek side deck. A cascading waterfall borders us to the north. The log home is constructed with rough hewn timbers, granite countertop, and hardwood floors throughout. A towering buck stove stone hearth is the centerpiece of the great room.
The home is adorned with a hunting and fishing lodge theme, which dovetails perfectly with the recreational opportunities. Guests can enjoy private fishing, hiking, and rafting adventures. The fireplace is fully stocked with split wood. Rafts, inner tubes, and fishing tackle are available. The property is on well water. Despite remediation efforts, it has hard water.
The nearest neighbors are at least 300 yards away, across the waterfall. This is a private estate.
  • Several friends and I stayed at this home for a night at the end of our final semester of college and it was everything we hoped it would be. It is a great place to come and relax with friends and family. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who is considering it.

  • When my family and I arrived we where speechless. If you love the outdoors, Peace, Water, Woods, Privacy, and plenty of elbow room. This place has it all and probably more. This is a true vacation home away from home with every amenity you can think of. My grand-kids walked and talked continuously. Close to so many thinks to do if you want to keep busy. Early Mornings on the spacious deck with coffee and my favorite person(My Wife) were priceless. Evenings around the fire pit story telling and bonding. Needless to say the weather was perfect for this outside adventure. We will rent from Matthew again.

  • Arianna and Ken were very gracious and hospitable. The space was just as it was purported to be. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. We make this trip quite often and would be glad to stay here again.

    David2017-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our 4-night stay at Arianna and Ken's place was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend it. New Wilmington is a delightful little PA town and their house is well located for walking downtown to Mugsies, Fractured Grape, the Tavern, the college, etc. The place was spotless clean, very well equipped, as well as private. Arianna and Ken were very welcoming and also helpful with information about the area. We slept great - the beds were very comfortable (yes, even the fold out couch bed) and there were plenty of pillows and blankets for wonderful cool nights with the windows open - A treat for us, coming from the south. We'll be booking again I hope!

    Ellen2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Arianna and Ken's place. It was a comfortable place for the four of us, parents and two adult children. Arianna and Ken were very good on communicating with us. • We had a great time staying at Arianna's home. It was extremely clean, quiet, and peaceful. We especially appreciated that the room had a separate entrance, since we got back late from a wedding and didn't want to wake anyone up. Arianna was very pleasant, available, and accommodating. I highly recommend booking this room if your in the area!

  • Our stay in Patti’s home was comfortable and pleasant. The town and area of New Wilmington are pretty and Patti's home is attractive. Patti was quick to communicate with us and was eager to please. She also graciously allowed us a late check out, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that the wifi did not work well for us, although Patty tried to remedy it. Also, her place was difficult to find even after following instructions to first go to Westminster College and then route ourselves from there. Our GPS took us to a neighbor across large fields, and it was not easy or straightforward, as it would seem, to get around those fields to her home. This was probably in part because it was dark. I wouldn't mention this if other guests hadn't also had trouble finding it. If you're arriving at night, you really don't want to feel lost. So, I suggest you ask Patty for directions and not rely on your GPS.

    Alicia2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place. Clean. Comfortable. Conveniently located. Patti was the perfect host, and her place is well worth the stay. I'm thrilled it was available. Highly recommend it.

  • Very comfortable and enough space for 3 of us. Patti was very warm and friendly and helpful.

    Michelle2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • I read all the reviews, but this was my first Air BNB experience, so I had my reservations. First of all, Patti is amazing. When I was still searching for a place to stay, I wrote her and she responded within the hour. She then invited us to stay. After I booked, Patti promptly wrote and told me to let her know what my expected arrival time would be so that she could meet, give me the key, and give a little tour. I didn't read everything, or else I would have known that my GPS was going to send me to a field, but when I wrote in a sort of panic she immediately sent her number for me to contact her. I managed to find it as New Wilmington isn't huge, but she was so prompt. When we arrived she came running out to see if we were ok. We parked out 24 foot trailer at her place, as she had previously said we could. There was plenty of room and Patti was beyond gracious. The place is immaculate, the town is quaint, and I couldn't have asked for a better time. I will return, if just to see Patti again.

  • Patti's place was beautiful and very comfortable. She was very responsive to our questions. Her basement guest suite is very lovely and clean. We did have a bit of trouble finding her home (neither (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps nor the built-in GPS in our car could find her street). But otherwise, it was totally wonderful and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

  • What an amazing last minute find! We found this gem when looking for a place to stay for a "girls weekend" of shopping at the Grove City outlets. We were able to enjoy an unseasonably warm day exploring the property/creek, followed by a bottle or 3 of wine on the front patio. The home is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and exceeded our expectations! The property is beautiful this time of year to enjoy the fall foliage! What a great place to unwind and recharge. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Our stay at this charming home was absolutely perfect! The property is exactly as pictured on the Airbnb site plus some. You won't be disappointed. Adding to the charm of the property is the lovely surroundings. Our hosts were most accommodating. I have the opportunity to stay at a lot of Airbnb's throughout the country and this by far has been my favorite. So much so I hope to be able to come back in the fall!

  • My family and I came from the Boston area for my Grandfather's 90th birthday celebration, and needed to accommodate several family members coming into the area at different times. Chris was very gracious, and was informative and easy to get ahold of during the booking process. Once we arrived we were very pleased and surprised to see an adorable house and lots of amenities and extras! The property and home were beautiful, with incredible interior design and we loved exploring the home and the grounds. The house was meticulously clean and well equipped. We know we'll absolutely be back to the area for more family reunions and will definitely stay here again. Thanks Chris!!

  • The Cabin in the Woods is simply fabulous! We absolutely loved our stay and everything about the cabin, from the fully stocked refrigerator and mood lights that welcomed us upon our late arrival, to the awesome country decor and aquarium. Nature abounds all around the cabin and the gentle horses you see in the picture graze peacefully right outside the door. On a beautiful fall weekend, my family and I had a terrific and relaxing stay that we'll never forget. Thanks, Joe, for sharing your wonderful cabin with us. • I remember reading all of Joe's reviews before my arrival at his cabin. I was blown away by the overwhelming positivity of the reviews...and then I got there. Without a doubt, I can easily say that this place FAR exceeded my highest expectations of the place. Joe was there cutting firewood for us. He had the place stocked with everything imaginable. The pictures do NOT do this listing justice. Joe was easy to communicate with, very hospitable, and very helpful in all things rental related. He's also a cheery, kind, down-to-earth person to just have a conversation with as well. Also, his two horses Elvis and Slate are regal, curious, and pleasant. Everyone in my party made it a point to express how much they loved the place and that they all were sure they'd be back. If you are considering this place whatsoever, I can assure you, without a doubt, that you will be glad you booked this place. Thanks again for everything, Joe!

  • This was the perfect respite for some time away to explore this region of PA. Devin was a wonderful host and was quick to answer my texts. The wifi worked great and it was wonderful to kick back on the comfy couch and bed and watch some Netflix before bed. The kitchen had all of the cooking amenities I needed and the neighborhood was very safe. There is even a small store and winery with events and food just a minute away by bike (currently only open on weekends). I chose Devin's place for it's proximity to the Allegheny River trail. A quick 10-15 minute bike ride down a private road along the river led me to the Kennerdell Tunnel (a MUST to try!) and the beautiful bike trail along the river. It is also a five minute drive from the beautiful Kennerdell Overlook. I HIGHLY recommend Devin's place if you want to live like a local and stay away from touristy campgrounds and hotels. It was everything I desired and more. Thanks for providing such a great place!

  • The cottage is adorable and just as described. Even cuter in person! We loved that it was pet friendly!

    Lindsey2017-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay from the moment we arrived. Devin and Erica even left treats for my dogs, which they enjoyed. The locations was a walk away from hiking and mountain biking trails. And after a long day spent outdoors, the kitchen was fully equipped to make our beef stew. The outdoor kennel and multiple leashes on the property were convenient for having our two dogs there. They too could sit outside with us and enjoy the campfire.

  • Devin's house was just what we needed. A quiet and tranquil space surrounded by nature. He was available to me whenever I had a question. We really enjoyed our stay, and wished we could have stayed longer.

  • Devin and Erika made us feel welcome from the start! The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a great base camp for our visit (only one night). We used our canoe, bicycles and took hikes. The trails there are plentiful and the river beautiful, especially with the remaining fall colors reflecting in the water. Kennerdell is an interesting small town. We enjoyed exploring the area and the people we encountered were friendly.

    Denise2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Place is great! Really close to a river.

    Brian2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place was cute and spacious, great amenities. Beautiful wooded area close to the river and hiking. Wifi was helpful as there is no cell reception.

    Katie2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Devin's house was lovely and sweet. Our pups were excited to have their own little house out back to hang out in while we explored the river trail and nearby Freedom Falls. Devin was incredibly kind and helpful. Truly a great human being.

  • My boyfriend and I came to New Castle for a wedding and decided to go with a bnb since we've never done that before and we're traveling with our support animal. We wanted something comfortable and cozy for her and us. This house was so warm and cozy. It felt better than being home. Our host had everything we needed at the house down to extra tooth brushes. She was really gracious and kind and showed us were everything was and how everything worked. She gave us a welcome packet that included places to see, eat and discover. Check in was on time and so was check out and her response is immediate. Our only complaint is that we'd wish we could of stayed longer!!

    Yakira2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • The house, property and location were perfect for my family. My 3 year old daughter just loved the yard to run around and the trees to hide under. It brought back a lot of childhood memories. From the moment we walked in it felt like our home away from home. It was comfortable and extremely clean! The host even provided extra toiletries including new tooth brushes in case you forgot yours. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Beautiful camp with all the amenities of home and breathtaking views of the Allegheny River and Clear Creek State Forest! Situated along the rails to trails bike route, this camp offers an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors without having to drive to a bike trail head. When you're not biking, enjoy the river views from the covered porch or by the fire with friends. Camp available for daily, weekly, or monthly rental. Parking accommodates 4 full sized trucks easily. *Please, no pets.*
All provided appliances and furniture are available for the guests to enjoy. Dish tv and wifi also included with rental.
Quite neighborhood setting with only traffic from neighbors or bicyclists using the bike trail.
  • The cabin is spacious and even better than the photos. These may be the most comfortable beds we have had in any vacation/rental Home . The access road may be more difficult after dark so plan to arrive in the daytime. The bike trail is easy to access and provides additional benefit to this location. It was a great stay !

    Kristen2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place! Our family enjoyed the nice relaxing weekend retreat away from the huddle and bustle of work. The check out time is 2pm which is perfect because you don't have to scramble to get things around and can actually enjoy the full trip! We would definitely do this again! There's a bike trail nearby that follows the river so if you like to go biking, make sure you bring them! Very nice communication as well as hospitality!

Private & beautiful riverfront cottage available for daily rental. Close to; bicycle trail, Clear Creek State Forest, public boat launch, fishing, swimming, overlook, and shopping 12 miles away. Foxburg Winery is also short drive east. NOT SAFE for small or unsupervised children. Parking is limited to two mid sized vehicles as this privately owned lane is narrow and not suited for turning around everywhere. 10 mph speed limit must be observed. A truly unique location with abundant wildlife.
  • This home had lovely views of the River from big picture windows in practically every room. It was extremely neat, roomy, and organized and had reading material available about the natural surroundings. The beds were super comfy! It was walkable to the Allegheny River Trail, which is a beautiful rails to trails biking experience and you can go through the tunnels. It's also a short drive to the Cook Forest, where you can view the old growth trees.

  • Beautiful home right on the river. The views from the patio, kitchen and living room were wonderful. The only thing we were missing was a fire pit but the peace atmosphere on the patio was perfect for cooking out. The house is clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend for for a small family or two couples. We had a nice, relaxing time. Thank you Cindy!

  • Staying at Cindy's was a great weekend trip for my family and I. The house was well kept and had everything we needed and more. The view was incredible and worth it alone. We had a great time on the water and made use of the available kayaks. Everyone had an amazing time and we would definitely recommend Cindy's place to family and friends. Thanks again!

  • This spot is quiet along the water and a private drive. Very roomy house and very clean! Cindy was very accommodating as we arrived after the check in time and we also decided to stay an extra night there! We were in town for biking and it is conveniently located across the river from many trails! And within driving distance of many others. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable place to spend some time away.

  • Cara was a wonderful host. I stayed with her for two months, and she cooked breakfast every single day, even though I had to leave by 7am for work. She bought a window air conditioner for my room and bought an ironing board for me to iron my clothes before work. She also cooked dinner if I was hungry and made a wide variety of traditional Chinese cuisine. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay with her.

    Isaac2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Cara was very nice and accommodating, and made breakfast and even dinner for me on numerous occasions. She provided easy access to kitchen utilities and laundry. The beds were comfy and there was AC and heating provided. The location is safe and quiet.

  • Host is very attentive to guest's needs, offering beverages, assisting with luggage, and so on. Very filling cooked breakfast in a lovely dining room, modestly furnished but with all the house's original woodwork in spendid condition.

    Roland2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying in this historic house in my mother's home town. Old homes can be a challenge with up keep but I know Cara enjoys her house and being in New Castle. Cara provided a large breakfast that kept me going all day. It was fun to learn about a new culture (Cara is from Hong Kong) and taste new cuisine. Enjoyed visiting with her. Cara was very accommodating. Shared bathroom with a neat old claw foot tub which so many homes have discarded - it was nice to see this historic feature still there. Looking forward to staying again.

4 bedroom cottage with a basement. Big enough for 2 or 3 couples with kids. 5 big decks 4 with views of the river, 1 facing the wooded back yard that has a 22 range set up. Summer is beautiful with kayaking, swimming, fishing and one mile from the Rails to Trails bike trail. Winter is my favorite.
Beautiful river view and access, a mile from the bike trail, river deck with fire pit on it. Very remote area, but the house has all the amenities you would need .
At the end of the dirt road, so not much road traffic or noise from other people
  • We had a very nice time! The location can't be beat if you enjoy quiet settings and outdoor recreation, and the view and access to the Allegheny River is a lot of fun. The house itself provides everything you could want, was very clean, and very inviting.

  • Kingfisher's Perch is one of the most breathtaking areas to stay in all of western PA! Absolutely gorgeous views of the Allegheny River from anywhere you look, wonderful seating areas right along the water, and an amazing home to stay in with lots of room for family and friends! I highly recommend this home for hunters, family get-togethers, or just a weekend away! Jane is very kind and a wonderful person to interact with. Once you step foot onto Kingfisher's Perch, you will never want to leave!

    Alexa2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Jane's place on Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. The house is beautiful. We enjoyed cooking out on the back deck grill during the day and spending the evenings having a fire down on the riverfront deck. The kitchen was also awesome to cook in. I would highly recommend visiting Freedom Falls which is just a short drive or walk from the cabin. Mill Creek is another great place to visit and hike but would be better to drive to as it is about 7 miles away. Highly recommend this place and would love to come stay again!

    Shaun2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house is great. It's very clean. Despite the hot days (mid to high 80s) it was very cool downstairs during the day. At night it was easy to cool the 2nd floor by opening the windows. Very private location. We saw eagles and deer while we were on the property. The deck and firepit are great. There was plenty of high quality firewood. The deck has lighting which is really great. It's not so bright to ruin the outdoorsy feel but bright enough that you don't need a lamp to hold a conversation and hang out. If you plan to fish from the property just be aware that it's very shallow and you'll need to wade. My 6 year old and I were able to catch fish by wading out directly in front of the property. The stairs to the river have been bent by ice so if you have an older person trying to get to the river that may be difficult for them. We took a guide for a great fishing trip and if you want to catch fish in the area I highly suggest a guide: (URL HIDDEN) If you bring a bike you can turn left off the property and ride your bike to the tunnel. The road turns into a trail where no cars can go and I actually enjoyed that part of the ride best. There are some loose rocks and some large sticks on the patch so be careful but most decent riders should be fine to go over them. You can also hike/walk the path as well. Either way bring a good headlamp for the tunnel. Finally we wanted to watch a college football game and were able to use the ESPN streaming app on the Amazon Fire Stick with very minimal buffering. Was also able to use the wi-fi for Facetiming with the family at home. AT&T coverage is pretty much non-existent so don't plan on being able to connect with the outside world unless you are in range of the house's wifi. But getting away is pretty much the point, right?

    Kevin2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • This house is really spacious and gorgeous! Jane is super nice. It is very important to follow her directions in (rather than rely on GPS) or you will get lost. Honestly, we're considering a similar trip next year and I can't think of a better place for a family get together!

    Amy2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • A great house, huge entertaining kitchen. The kitchen is three times bigger than the angle of the picture shown. Great wood work throughout the house, loved the hardwood floors, not your typical hardwood floors. A secluded gem of a place.

  • We had a good time
