  • Caroline was an excellent host and extremely kind! This is a boat, a big beautiful boat that doubles as a traveling theater company. You will have your own cabin and section of the boat with complete kitchen. It is a lovely spot with a nice view of the river.

  • Amazing location, quiet (highway is close by, but really: you can't find a more quiet place this close to the center of Paris) with beautiful surroundings. The bateau is so charming, with a little wood stove to keep you warm. During our stay we travelled to the city center each day, 30 minutes by bike and it's a very nice and easy route! Highly highly highly recommended: Paris by bike, with this charming hide-out to relax and truly escape the big city.

  • Location was great and the host very kindly

  • The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and the view from the boat is lovely. Caroline made us feel very welcome. The boat is quaint and atmospheric, and comfortable enough! Very fun, close to Paris, nice for a stay.

  • If your looking for an alternative to your typical boring Hotel room then this place is for you. It's just as you see in the pictures except that the highway is close than expected (see (Hidden by Airbnb) maps). That being said, when we arrived I dreaded that its proximity to the highway would make for a noisy stay but that was not the case at all. I found it to be quite comfortable and relaxing. We got a good sleep in the captain's quarters and setup or infants crib on the floor. There are restaurants, transit stations, and grocery stores within walking distance. My only complaint would be that heating relies on radiant space heaters that weren't setup before our arrival so it took a while to warm up the rental. If you come during a cooler time of year I recommend asking Caroline of she would turn on the heaters before your arrival. Caroline is very nice, helpful, and answers any questions that you may have. My wife was skeptical about the rental at first but we really enjoyed it. If we return to Paris early this trip we'll stay here again. We would recommend this rental to others looking for an alternative to typical hotels or b&b's.

  • Jocelyn's place was was awesome. It was really conveniently located close to one of the train stations. It was within walking distance to some really great restaurants and bars. Jocelyn was super nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

  • Although I never met the host but she is really friendly through the way she reply me. Very quick reply from her all the time without fail and giving me as much info as possible about the stay. Location wise was great but it will be much suitable for couple or backpackers as the place is kind of small and pack.

  • Great flat in a great location for a trip in Paris. Everything you need is within a block of the apartment. We walked everywhere we went but we did walk a lot, and it is on the 6th floor (no elevator) but we knew that going in. Great experience!

    Brian2016-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancee and I had a splendid time at Jocelyn's flat. 1) Host: Jocelyn was very kind, friendly, and responsive--she would always respond to our questions in less than 24 hours. She warmly welcomed us and provided clear instructions. Thank you, Jocelyn for your kindness :) 2) Location: Montmarte / Sacre Coeur literally a 5-7min walk away, Barbes-Rochechouart and Gare du Nord metro stations only a 5 min walk away--we were able to get to wherever we needed to (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Versailles Palace, CDG airport) without using a taxi or car, which we LOVED being from Los Angeles where you have to drive everywhere. The neighborhood was safe, we felt safe walking at night. Grocery stores, a bakery, pharmacy, and cafe were only downstairs or a block away. 3) Facility: The flat was small, but just enough for 2 people. I greatly appreciated having a washer/dryer-in-one, reliable wi-fi connection, and ample towels. There are also maps and tourist brochures on the bookshelf that we found helpful. It's located on the 6th floor and you do have to carry your luggage up six flights as there is no elevator. The building like most in the area is on the older side, the stairs creak, but nothing was overtly concerning. It's a clean, charming little flat that housed us well :)

  • I loved staying at Jocelyn's cozy apartment in Paris! The place was just perfect for enjoying the city like a true Parisian. Jocelyn went out of her way to be a great host, including keeping my luggage over the weekend while I traveled internationally. I would highly recommend this place!

  • Our Paris trip was almost 7 days long. It begun with three days in Paris then 3 days in Amboise and 4 days in Paris again. We choose to book the same place but the gap of 3 days posed a problem. Jocelyn was kind enough to let us keep our bags with her. The place as i mentioned in an earlier review is absolutely cozy and nice!

Steps away from Notre Dame, on a houseboat, originally the lodgings of a sailor remade into a duplex. The apartment is fully stocked (sheets, tablecloth, bath towels, cooking utensils) with a TV and wifi. Ideal for couples.
The ship's pilot house and lodgings originally belonged to a sailor on a houseboat in Paris.
Moored on the Rive Gauche, Quai d'Austerlitz, Nénuphar is near the Jardin des Plantes, the Musée d'Histoire Naturelle and the Cité de la Mode et du Design. When crossing the Pont d'Austerlitz towards the Rive Droit, you can walk along the Jardins du Bassin de l'Arsenal to the square at the Bastille, and barely a 20 minute walk away, you will arrive at l'Opéra Bastille. The houseboat is right outside the Gare d'Austerlitz and you need only cross the bridge to be at the Gare de Lyon.
  • Our stay was great! Marie-Laure was so nice and very helpful. Our stay was just fantastic❤️

    Karen2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed one night of our 5 night stay and left as soon as we could. The place is very small and not clean. The ladder to the bedroom area was so steep it is almost impossible to get up and down. The kitchen is poorly equipped and what is there is dirty and chipped. Very loud at night. There is a train bridge right beside the boat and trains come over every couple of minutes all day and night.

  • I had a great time staying at the Peniche. The location is very convenient - 15 minutes walk from Gare de Lyon and 2 minutes to Gare Austelitz. The studio is spacious and clean. Everything worked. It's quiet and the boat doesn't move much. My only recommendation is not to bring a very big suitcase, because it's difficult to take it down the stairs to the studio. Otherwise, I highly recommend the experience. Your friends will be very impressed with your adventure ;) Patricia Almeida

  • Marie-Laure was very welcoming and communication was very easy. Upon arrival she gave us a tour and some helpful suggestions on food and grocery shopping. The location of the houseboat was WONDERFUL!!!!! Right across the street from the metro, 15 minute walk to the Notre Dame right along the Seine River! There are tons of restaurants within walking distance. We had a wonderful time at Marie-Laure's place and enjoyed our stay!

  • The boat was everything we expected and more. Marie-Laure is a professional guide who knows her stuff. We enjoyed the gentle rocking of the boat whenever a barge passed by during the day. We were less than 5 minutes from the train and another 5 to Notre Dame. On our last day we walked over to the National Gardens (5 minutes away) and had a nice picnic.

This boat is unique, it's from 1931, and the studio is still in the same state as it used to be. It's very confortable and heat. The bed is 200*140. The shower has great pressure and there is warm water. At the top you can cook for yourselves, you have a fridge and all you need for tea or coffee.
"Alphonse" was built in the early 30's. The room is all made of Acajou. It's very chram and confortable. Only a few minutes from the Eiffel Tower and a lot of transport near by. It's a unique experience to sleep on such a boat in the center of Paris !
  • A dream come true, so grateful to have had this experience!

  • Absolutely wonderful! Incredible hosts and unbelievably close to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions. Perfect for lovers and adventurers. We will return. Thank you for everything Charles! Immaculate boat in pristine condition. Words fail to describe this treasure. Shh ;) we want to keep it a secret.

  • This was one of the most unique experiences I've had while traveling. My daughter and I loved being rocked to sleep by the Seine every night. The location of the boat just cant be beat--easy walking to some great tourist spots, and a convenient metro and train stop just steps away. We loved every minute!

    Cindy2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a little piece of heaven! It is a charming, old-world taste of Paris with all the amenities of today (hot shower, good water pressure, big warm cozy bed, convenient kitchenette, heater if needed) with lovely outdoor deck space, indoor privacy and a perfect location, literally at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The downsides? You're in a city so you can't escape noise (we use earplugs at night). The bedroom is plenty big, but if you're a big person, you may struggle with the boat-sized WC and shower. One lovely discovery nearby was Swan Island. It's a strip of land in the middle of the Seine that is accessible right off the bridge that runs just behind the boat. It is left pretty natural and is a nice respite from the busy city. Also, the best view of the Eiffel Tower is from this bridge.

  • Exactly what we were looking for! A charming, peaceful little get-away, off the beaten path, yet so close to the center of Paris. We stayed in the studio for 3 nights. It had everything we needed and was walking distance to a huge grocery store and bakeries. We either took thenT 2 towrd town or hopped on the city bikes to go into Paris. Could not have been easier. Only warning is that the ceilings in the studio might be too low for tall people (over 6 ft).

    Judy2012-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Christophe is a wonderful host and the barge is beautifully situated on the Seine. The WiFi is not always available, but Christophe is working hard to fix that. Using the Velib you are within 5 minutes at the nearest metro station. We used them for a ride in the town. Recommended!

    Marc2013-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Charming place, very organized and convenient. Host accessible and helpful. Many thanks!! An original place to keep on wish-lists. Just beware the terrace is actually not available for studio guests, surely Christophe will have corrected this soon.

  • It has been a pleasure to visit Paris with such a nice base in town. Close to the supermarket, the tram, a bakery and a charming pizzeria. Lovely terrace (to share with order guests beneath) and surprisingly quiet (waking up in Paris and hearing the blackbirds singing was great!). On top of that a very kind and reliable host so highly recommended.

  • What a very special place. Victor was lovely and met us at the boat after giving us very specific instructions and even talking to our cabby. My don had a unique experience staying on the houseboat in the middle of the Seine. The boat is beautiful and clean. Victor left a fresh loaf of bread, butter and makings of cocktails which was so thoughtful as the boat is a 10 min walk to the nearest shops. What a great place and perfect host! Thank you Victor!

    Mara2016-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Victor is a superb host who genuinely wanted me to experience a non-tourist Paris. He loves France and Paris and wants to share how fun Paris and it's environs can be. I've been visiting Paris and France for years and have found it harder and harder to enjoy Paris because of the crowds. Victor helped me have the best experience of the real Paris I have had. Period. His English is perfect and tolerated my so-so French skills. Victor is a very bright and friendly gentleman. The boat is great! I slept better there than in any hotel of the trip. Coffee on a private deck in the morning. Hot tub after a day wandering around was perfect. Quiet as can be. You're really in the country until you walk 30 yards and you're in the Bois de Boulogne. If you want to walk out of a hotel into the crowds, this may be the place for you. If you want peace and quiet within walking distance to the metro and a great host, this is the place for you.

    Kevin2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is simply gorgeous. Just as Victor describes it and just as in the pictures. Beautiful scenery on the Seine and park next door. Perfect to relax after touring Paris. Shopping and restaurants within walking or biking distance. But above all, Victor is the nicest host I have met. Highly recommended.

  • Thanks for all! The boathouse is very nice. All is clean, the kitchen has all you need for a stay. Amazing is the jakuzzi on deck. We could park our car safe on a camping next to the boat. Victor is a very uncomplicated, nice, always kind and helpful host. You will a a great time on board.

    Ugur2015-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place to relax - you feel like you are on the country but are in the middle of Paris. The apartment is just as you see in the photos. Victor was an attentive but unobtrusive host. We will be back!

    John2017-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and quiet place near the city. I rented a car so it was easy and fast commute to the center of Paris (10-15 mins with traffic). Victor responded almost instantly with any issue/question. Kitchen is great and has all accessories. Recommend especially when weather is great!

    Illan2015-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • This truly was a great experience and I would highly recommend staying with Victor. He was very fast in communication and great at helping us with anything during our stay. If you can, you must hang out with Victor. He is very cool, smart, and likes to have fun! This is a must stay place and a rare find! There is also REAL jacuzzi and a full functioning kitchen, so nice.

  • Eric & Denis were perfect hosts! They welcomed us (3 friends) very friendly. It was such a great and exciting experience to stay on their beautiful houseboat. Everything was clean and looks exactly like on the pictures. They have an excellent taste when it comes to interior, color - it was very comfortable. They cared about every single detail to make us feel comfortable. They even welcomed us with a bottle of good wine, bottles of water on our bed, more than one towel for every person, we had good coffee and tea available, spirits we were allowed to drink, everything was perfect. Wifi worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable and it was a special experience to stay on a boat with its beautiful original wooden floor and walls. In the mornings and evenings we always enjoyed coffee and tea outside on top of the boat, which was very calming. Eric and Denis answered immediately when we had questions and asked us directly the first morning, if everything was ok. They also send us the exact description in advance to find the boat. The houseboat was easy to reach. We walked about 20/25 minutes to the Eiffel tower area (next to the Seine) but also used stations for fast train and metro near the place. It didn't take long to get to Notre Dame either. Thank you very much for the beautiful time we had at your place! When we ever come back to Paris, we hope to be able to book this place again. Highly recommended!

  • Christophe's loft was the perfect stay for my 2 weeks while in Paris on business. It is easy to locate near public transit and Christophe welcomed me upon my arrival. Christophe was prompt to respond to any questions I had before and during my stay and was a great host. I would love to come back and visit when I am not so busy working and enjoy some time relaxing on the deck. The space allows for cooking in or just relaxing. Admittedly, I didn't spend much time on the barge, but it felt like home.

  • We had a great stay and Christophe went out of his way to look after us. A great boat, great stay and a great host. 100% recommend this boat. There were two of us staying and there was plenty of room and the deck was great in the good weather.

  • Great beautiful location. Host easy to reach and communicate with. Not very clean and a lot of spiders inside the boat

    Vegard2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • The host was very friendly!he always helped us actively ,he showed us how to take the train to the main city, and helped us to find the place that we would get the rent car there .he was so kind to everyone.

  • Christophe's barge loft is a great piece of rustic life near the centre of Paris. It is conveniently situated on 10 minute walk from a large Auchan and the T2 tram. The loft was very clean and tidy, with everything you could want for a short stay. Christophe is a perfect host, very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

  • Christophe was a great host. He was very friendly on the phone and when we arrived. The boat is wonderful in a nice quiet area. Inside the cabin was spacious and warm. Its all clean and well facilitated. Don't be put off by the location, as it is well connected by public transport. The RER yellow line runs from this area to all the most popular sites in Paris. It only takes 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. There is a large supermarket / Mall nearby, so you can stock up on wine.

    Graham2014-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Christophe was a great host. We had a great time staying there. It was a little close quarters for six people but what do you expect staying on the boat. It's about a 10 minute walk to the tram station which can get you into central Paris pretty quickly. Christophe was great even though we came in late at night. The boat and accommodations were clean and show pride in ownership. The only thing that was not mentioned was all the work they're doing on the sidewalk and roadway right outside the unit. It was not loud because we were gone every day but it was a little hard to get to the boat. You had to do a little bit of walking over uneven surfaces to get to the boat and with suitcases it was a little tricky. Would definitely recommend this if you're looking for something off the beaten path.

• Jean's houseboat is amazing! Clean, roomy and cheerful with the best view in all of Paris. Jean left maps and suggestions for restaurants. He also left little personal touches that were so very thoughtful.

  • It just doesn't get any better than life on Jean's houseboat! It's bright and airy, with views of the Eiffel Tower from every window (not hard when you're directly opposite!). The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot, and we were greeted with roses & a selection of food to enjoy during our stay. The boat is teeming with books, art and culture, fairy lights to sparkle next to the illuminated Eiffel Tower at night, and a gorgeous deck to enjoy breakfast and tea on while watching the world float by. Jean was the perfect host. He speaks perfect english and is a genuinely nice and friendly guy. He will go out of his way to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, and knows everything there is to know about French history, art and politics, as well as the best galleries to visit in the city. We had the best time, and definitely intend to stay there again.

  • Soleil is a quirky but very comfortable boat. Its location is fantastic and we had a wonderful time. Jean was a very welcoming host. He explained everything and said we could 'phone if we had any problems. We felt very at home.

    Steve2014-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jean was an excellent host, and the location cannot be beat. Thank you for an excellent time!

    Kristen2018-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. Close to some sites and just a short Uber drive to other destinations. The river bus was our main way to get around to all major sites. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Jean gives a warm welcome and did a great job with his boat. It's a fantastic design: bright, comfortable, mostly feels roomy, has quite the view and location, is lived-in and quirky. It's Jean's home design and the expected stuff does exist and is set up reasonably. I felt right at home on the boat and my stay ended far, far too soon. I loved it. Thank you Jean!

    Pierre2018-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed four nights on Jeans boat and loved every minute of it. Even before we got there, he was helpful in directing us on how to take RER to the boat (which I highly recommend- 10 Euro as opposed to a 50 Euro cab). He was kind enough to wait for us on the boat although we were running late. There were also fresh flowers and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. The boat was clean and well decorated. There is a lot of artwork to look at, and books to flip through. It offers unparalleled views (which are even better in person) in a top location which is highly sought after in the city. It is quite a treat to have the Eiffel Tower in constant view and be able to walk by any time of day. There are many metro stations within walking distance to get you wherever you need to go. We felt very safe in the area and the boat is situated a little further back behind a full tree which provides privacy. Jean answered all of our questions and pointed out some places of interest on the map, highlighting the best way to get there. Would highly recommend le péniche Soleil, and have already suggested it to friends and family. We hope to return soon! Thanks again, Jean!

  • Just got back from a few days in Paris staying on Jean's houseboat. Quite simply put, the location, the accommodation and the host Jean were nothing less than perfect. Jean was absolutely charming on meeting and gave us a lot of tips for the local area, provided maps and restaurant recommendations. We would be very fortunate to stay there again; couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

My place is close to The Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, The Tuileries Gardens. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, The central location. There are 2 cabins so it's perfect for 2 friends travelling together. there is a mini fridge and facilities to make tea and coffee. There are cafés restaurants and shops all within walking distance. You can also take a boat trip near the Bateau Johanna. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
  • Parvin was a lovely host, the boat was in the best location possible- everything was walking distance to us. The beds were extremely comfortable and our cabin was clean. The only thing I'd highlight is that the wifi connection was iffy, so make sure to book everything in advance or bring a proper device to do your online research/travel planning at a nearby cafe.

  • This charming houseboat is in the perfect central location in Paris. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Parvin was gracious and accommodating during my stay, and I would highly recommend this unique experience to anyone visiting Paris.

    Lori2017-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Bateau Joanna is a lovely way to experience Paris and extremely central to the major sights and museums. It is just down the steps from the Musee d'Orsay and across a footbridge to the Tuileries. I highly recommend the houseboat to travelers who like unique accommodations and something a little different. I enjoyed being rocked to sleep on the Seine and the cabins were super cozy (and nice and warm under the covers). You can enjoy your own private space and entrance, with two different sitting areas (one in the wheelhouse and one below-deck). Parvin provided a wonderful French breakfast each morning with warm croissants, coffee, and juice, which was a wonderful touch. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was largely unavailable during our stay, which was a little inconvenient, but Parvin was having it taken care of, and there is public wi-fi available outside the boat and at most museums and other public spaces. Note that there is a steep set of stairs to get below deck and that the boat does rock. We really appreciated Parvin's flexibility with check-in and check-out times and the communication with her was quick and easy.

    Betty2017-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location. Great fun on the boat. Parvin is very helpful. If you want central Paris you won't do better

    Ralph2018-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Best. Place. Ever! Does it get any better than being rocked lightly to sleep by the Seine River? No. Location is mint. Right across from the Musee d' Orsay. (Website hidden by Airbnb) bus stop is right up the stair on the main road, as well as the location for the boat tour. A little storage container pop up bar and some boat resurants just moments away. In heart of the city but being down on the water lets you enjoy the magicalness of Paris in the most romantic way! Exceeded our expectations and took the trip to another level! You will regret it if you don't stay here!

    Heidi2018-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • I strongly recommend that you avoid the obvious lodging experience in Paris. The toilet, shower booths are in full use. Hot water comes right out. You can see the beautiful interior. The boat is very big. Don't worry about it being small. The view is superb and convenient to move around in downtown Paris. I strongly contend that it is the best lodging in Paris.

  • What a unique experience to stay overnight on a boat docked on the Seine! The location is perfect for exploring Paris by foot as most museums and treasures are within a 30 minute walk. The young adult, or young-at-heart night owl, will find the nightlife booming nearby. Bateau Johanna is a darling boat filled with charm and most amenities, accompanied by a graceful rocking. Taking time to savor the delicious breakfast while watching the people pass along the promenade is highly recommended-a favorite pastime. You will feel like an honored guest for your entire stay.

  • We stayed on the Beati for two nights with our four children. The children loved staying on the boat and we were able to take a trip out with Joel and his wife on the river (at an extra cost). Joel and his wife were very accommodating and helpful. Joel is extremely personable and we were happy to listen to his sailing stories and of his passion for boats. One downside would be the toilet being in the main bedroom, which got used quite regularly with all our children! The experience is similar to that of a motorhome and all amenities are available. Aside from that, our stay was a very good one, and one we will certainly not forget! The location is beautiful on the Seine and we were given the choice of where to have the boat moored. There is also a park nearby which has lots of activities for the children. We also purchased a carte du peche and fished off the boat. (My partner hoped to catch a catfish but he caught bream instead) All in all, an enjoyable stay.

  • We had a great night n day at Joël’s - it was a great experience to spend a night on the boat & have a trip up the Seine, which the kids adored, and a pleasure to meet Joël, who skippered is on the river & added to fuller perspective about Life J The boat is not luxury, but has Everything you might need, so with right expectations you will have a great experience. Especially the kids J We were 1.5 families sharing the boat - us 4 and our friend with 7ys old son. By all means take extra time to go for a river ‘balade’ - to see the world from a different perspective to the world & speak with Joel about different ways to live Best luck to Joel & his family J Ignas&Co.

  • It was really fun to stay on the boat! We were looking for a place to stay a night near Orly airport before catching a flight the next day, and this was a fun way to do that. For those of you who have camped in a motorhome or trailer before, this is a very similar experience. Joel was very helpful and a great host!

Merci !

Charming 20 square meters studio apartment, fully furnished in a houseboat. 5 minutes away on the subway to Paris and its main tourist attractions. Luminous, cozy with an independent entrance and a view to a little island “Ile de la Jatte”.
Very luminous, cozy with an independent entrance, the studio is located 7 minutes walking distance to the subway “Pont de Neuilly” where you can take the Line 1 that takes you directly (5 minutes) to Paris and its main tourist attractions such as the Arc de Triomphe, Concorde, The Musée du Louvre, the trendy Marais district, etc. There is also a main Bus stop station if preferred. The studio apartment has a view to a little island “Ile de la Jatte” which you can explore and discover the “Parcours des impressionnistes” chosen spot of inspiration for famous painters like Monet and Van Gogh. If you are sportive, you can opt to go over there for a 6 km run but if you want a longer distance you can adventure yourself to the big woods of Boulogne which isn’t that far neither. The side of the river in which we are situated is very calm with no boat traffic at all.
It’s the perfect combination of a feeling being in the countryside but yet only 5 minutes away on the subway to Paris and the Champs Elysées, including the business area of La Defence. These are indeed also walking distances. Links of interest: (website hidden) Jardin d'Acclimatation and it's recently inaugurated Fondation de Louis Vuitton, great park for kids and adults: (website hidden) (website hidden)
  • Melissa is great and makes herself available for any questions! The boat was a tad farther than we'd have hoped, but really close to public trans that will get you into city center.

  • Lovely and secluded on the river, so quiet you wouldn't know you were in the middle of Paris. Nice to watch the rowers go past whilst having a beer! Watch for mosquitos being on the river and gets hot in summer as no aircon. Overall good value for money

    Allan2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • For my wife and I this was a lucky find for our 10 days in Paris. It is far from the heart of tourist Paris, but with a fast ten-minute metro link into the city and all its sites. The boat is moored on the Seine adjacent to the Ile de la Jatte – favourite haunt of impressionists van Gogh, Monet and Seurat – and is equipped with all the essentials. On the one hand you have the idyllic peace of the river, and on the other the knowledge that you can be sipping a Ricard on the Blvd St. Germain in a flash via the metro. But if you don’t fancy venturing into the city, the suburb of Neuilly has restaurants, shops, etc. in abundance. Our hosts were marvellous and our stay was memorable. What more can I say?

    Allan2015-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great experience on the houseboat! The neighborhood was very cute. Felt like I was out of the city but still close to everything. Melissa and her family were very welcoming and kind.

  • Great spot providing quite a different perspective on Paris. Melissa and her family are totally delightful and accommodating hosts. Studio is private and as large or larger (goes for the bathroom & galley too) than you would expect in a regular apartment bldg. Quiet & green & a bit romantic as well. All necessary facilities to hand. Highly recommend!

  • This was our first time, la peniche experience. The boat is very clean, with a great location, easy to access from metro and in a calm neighboorhood. The outside of the boat is small but its manageable to sit outside. The host Melissa was very nice, a nos petis soins. We were scared to have insects or bad smell but we did not face any problem. The bed is confy and the view is relaxing. Very good experience, thank you Melisssa

A faire!

  • Didier is a great host, very available and helpful even until late. His boat is so much more spacious than I first thought despite the pics. Didier was very welcoming and friendly, allowing my friends and I to use his speakers, projector and even computer. His cute kitty is a bonus, very cuddling and quiet in the same time. I come back whenever I'd have another hen party to do!/ Didier est un grand hote, disponible et serviable meme tres tard dans la soiree.

  • My friend and I were looking for a place to stay for a night in Paris and we found Franck's beautiful boat on airbnb. We had expected to only be able to get a small room since we were booking at such short notice. Instead we were so lucky to find Franck's airbnb page and he was very quick to respond. Franck was so gentle, helpful and kind, he even offered to pick us up in his car. We were delighted to arrive at the boat which is 180 m2, with a large deck, nicely furnished, fully equipped kitchen, large living space. For the day we even had the pleasant opportunity to stay with Franck's dog and cat who were very friendly and cuddly. Originally we had planned to go shopping around Paris since my friend was only staying for the weekend, but in the end we ended up staying on the boat most of the time, sun bathing on the deck with some rose wine that Franck had offered. Franck is a great person and an exceptional host. He has my highest recommendations and I thank him for a great experience this weekend.

  • Great location! on a boat on the Seine of Paris, amazing experience, super interesting neigborhood, quiete part of Paris, with all kinds of shops and restaurants close by. My friends and I had an amazing time! We would definetely do it again.

  • Very stylish boat. Very spacious. Very nice for a big group.

    Faateh2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • The houseboat is just a really fun place to stay and has SO much room. It was a great place for our family. I know someone mentioned this before, but the only issue we had was that the area where the boat is seems to be a breeding ground for spiders and consequently, there really are spiders everywhere, outside and inside the houseboat. If spiders are an issue for anyone in your group, this probably is not the place for you, but if you aren't bothered by them, we highly recommend staying here.

    Alice2018-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful experience ! I highly recommend staying on Franck's peniche (river boat) ... at the same time I would like to keep it a guarded secret to make sure the place is available for us next time as well ;-) Location is very convenient in a nice setting west of the city between Puteaux and Neuilly sur Seine. Bois de Boulogne, Fondation Louis Vuitton, La Defense within walking distance. Convenient shopping at Avenue Longchamps about 5 minutes walk to a well-stocked supermarket (Franprix), bakery (boulangerie), fresh grocer, etc. Somewhat far to the nearest metro station (M1 - Pont de Neuilly is about 15 minutes walk, a little more than 1 km away). Very spacious - two bedrooms and a shower grouped together at the back of the boat (stern), one bedroom with en suite shower in the front (bow). Generous kitchen, comfy living space, audio-visual equipment (record player, AppleTV, overhead projector/beamer, good WiFi. We accommodated our family of 5 (three girls aged 8-10-13) plus another couple. The fold-out sofa in the living room is a double-bed. 8 can live here comfortably ... but the dining table will get crowded. This location and the generous terrace in summer will be an absolute dream ! We did not meet Franck but correspondence with him was quick, reliable, dependable. We arrived after midnight, easily found the key and got settled in for an unforgettable 5-day stay. Our "photo moments": when two swans came up to the window for a chat an some bread; and the view of snow-covered Paris. Watching the Seine flow past (quite rapidly) is both dynamic and calming at once.

  • Great stay at Franck's houseboat in Puteaux. We were traveling with 7 people. The houseboat was spacious, clean and in a great location to relax after a long day sightseeing. We walked into Puteaux for all our shopping and barbecued at the boat in a couple nights. The local butcher and fromagerrie had great meat and cheese to take back to the boat. Franck was very accommodating.

  • Amazing location... we had a great stay

    Julie2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a stunning location! We sat on the deck, sipping a cold drink and staring up at the Eiffel tower. You couldn't ask for a much more glamorous spot. Quentin was really friendly and helpful, and we had a great time. The steep steps inside were absolutely fine for us, though might not be ideal for older guests - but then staying on a houseboat is all about being hip! Don't be surprised if you rock about a bit as sightseeing boats crawl past - but everything goes surprisingly peaceful overnight. We'll definitely be back.

    Cameron2018-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Easy from check in to check out. Parking at boat was very convenient. Great location for walking to major sites. We had four adults and three kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay there again.

  • Our hosts, Gaetan and Herve, were always kind and considerate. Their peniche, the Arbois, is beautifully restored and clean. She's moored in the center of Paris - just below the Tuilleries, close to the Louvre and the Petit and Grand Palais and across the Seine from the Musee d'Orsay and Latin Quarter. All are within easy walking distance. There are good places in the immediate neighborhood to eat and to buy groceries, as well as a charcuterie and boulangerie. My husband and I stayed for eight nights, eating our croissants in the early morning sun and sharing wine at night on the deck of Arbois, peacefully watching boats pass up and down the Seine when we were not exploring the city, and falling asleep at night to the gentle rocking of the peniche. Country living in the heart of Paris. Couldn't ask for better.

    Leslie2012-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • The arbois is a very nice place. Gaetan was working and I was being a tourist so we didn't have much time to interact, but he was very nice in every moment. The boat itself is so cute!! My bed a bit soft for my back... But the bathroom is warm and nice! The location is great and the terrace is to die for.

  • Incredible location (right in front of the Louvre), great host, and all in all a perfect experience. If you are considering to stay on this house boat don't think twice. The room is a bit small but there is no price for relaxing on the boat's deck with the Louvre in your backyard and the river Seine in your front yard. A+

Lots of "plugs" for electronics in case you forgot yours. The location is amazing. we walked everywhere. It is located exactly where a first time visitor would want to be. I loved our long lunches on the deck watching other boats go by. I do night photography and got amazing photos from the bridge just steps away. Truley a magicial vist. Thank you!

  • We had a pleasant stay in this cosy little room on Frederic's house boat. All we needed was a place to rest with basic facilities after a day out in Paris. This was something different from the usual hotel room and the location is also near to RER train station Issy val de seine, which is on line C connecting major attractions in Paris. Frederic's wife Caroline was available on phone and patiently helped us on the first day. Frederic met us on the next day to enquire about our stay. We felt welcomed and liked it very much. Had a good trip!! If you are not too particular about accommodation and don't have too high expectations then definitely try it.

Big living room, all wooden interiors, and a unique location at 5 minutes from le Louvre and Musée d'Orsay. The Parking is INCLUDED, and always available The perfect place to spend a unique vacation in Paris, just in front of the National Assembly...
The boat has all wooden interiors made in the 70's in Netherlands. The entrance is one big room, which make the space wider. The rooms are in the same style, as the bathroom. During the summer you will be able to open many windows and doors, and in the winter you will feel cosy and comfortable, as the heater is 100% integrated in the structure, and diffuses its heat through the wood.
The neighborhood is a residential riverboat area, with about 50 boats and families. It one of the oldest marinas in Paris. If you cross the Solferino bridge, you will be at Musée d'Orsay and will find the shops, Bakery, supermarket, wine shop, restaurants and Bar. At the north its Place de la Concorde and Musée du Louvre. More shops around and classy restaurants and bars. The all neighborhood is quite busy and touristic, but it has lots of charm. The Saint Germain des Prés and its bars and restaurant is 10-15 minutes aways towards East.
  • Very nice central location, and very fine setting in the house boat. We biked everywhere from here, and had our car parked just by the boat, very easy. But we had some issues...that wont make us come again. We had a little starting trouble, as we where told that we could come whenever on arrival day, but it turned out that the cleaning guy was first finished anyway at 14.00, but we managed to get the key, parking and went for lunch instead. There was no water or toilet paper in the boat, a little disapointing, and our first of many airbnbs where we had to buy this our selves. And it turned out to be a little difficult to find an open shop on sunday afternoons. We wouldn’t recommend this place for younger children, we travelled with 2 six year old twins, and one of them got cut by a screw on the deck terracce under her foot, so be watchfull, also because of the setting on a boat of course... Perhaps we are ignorant, but we hadn’t really thought about the setting, so we where a bit suprised by all the people sitting just by the boat - couples kissing and hugging, drunk people talking loudly, a couple of homeless people sleeping under the bridge 5 meters from the boat and of course a couple of rats running by, nothing that made us think less of the boat, but somebody might. We left a day early, this we did beacuse of execptionel heat in Paris, and on the boat. Even with lots of fangs we melted inside the boat at night, we couldn’t raise any fresh air from the outside, as it was completely windstill.

  • My husband and I had an amazing time in Paris while staying on Marc's houseboat for two nights! It was very clean, and Ener, the boat manager was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The boat is perfectly located near the heart of the city, and it was very easy to get everywhere - whether to sightsee (the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre Dame are all within walking distance), grab something delicious to eat, or go for a run along the Seine. It was such a unique experience, we would definitely recommend it!

    Nicole2016-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • The riverboat is a located in a brilliant place right on the Seine and right in the centre of Paris. Every one of the main sights are walkable and both the bus stop and metro are within 5 minutes walk. Best of all is to have the the gentle rocking of the Seine accompany you to bed after a day of walking around. That cannot be beat. The dining and living area are also perfect for a sit around over a wine to chill and chat in the evening. I would highly recommend this place to any who are planning a trip to Paris. Just drop Marco a message and he will take care of you.

    Roy2018-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • You feel that it is a well frequented airbnb and the boat has seen its better days. But the whole experience is just unmatchable! I mean you live on a boat in the middle of Paris!!! How amazing is that???!!!

  • What a unique spot in Paris! The boat is centrally located to many of Paris' must see places. Marc gave us FANTASTIC recommendations to area restaurants and things to do. The pizzeria was just what we needed after many days of eating mostly french cuisine. One thing to note, If you are at all prone to motion sickness, be sure to bring some Dramamine. You will feel the boat moving long after you leave it!

  • Me and a friend had a great experience staying on the boat and it was a pleasure to be hosted by Clement. The facility was excellent and some of our fears about a house boat (shower/toilet etc) were proved wrong. We had plenty of space in the cabin and it was very relaxing to have the deck to ourselves! The wifi was patchy at best but that would be my only issue. Clement was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome, and I would definitely recommend this as somewhere to stay away from the centre of Paris!

  • Jean-Pierre and Clement are the best host ever, they make my hold stay incredible, while you can sun bathe in the sienne , plus you have the best customer services you can wish... monsieur jean pierre is a gentleman and a great host . I do recommend to stay in his boat as a new expectations...

  • We stayed in Jean-Pierre's boat for 3 nights while visiting Roland Garros. We were very excited about staying on the boat and it exceeded our expectations. Breakfast on the private deck with fabulous views up and down the river, the amazing park on the other side of the boat for early morning runs and the close proximity for walking to Roland Garros, made this a perfect location. Jean-Pierre and Clement are great hosts providing clear directions, restaurant recommendations and a well equipped cabin. We certainly hope to be back! Thank you.

  • This unique experience on a boat on the Seine is amazing. Everything looks exactly like the pictures. We are a family of 8 and had plenty of room. The host is wonderful and made check in and out very easy. She responds immediately to emails and texts. She has organized information for buses and trains. Although we used Uber daily. Uber was available within 5 minutes and very reasonably priced to downtown Paris. Try staying here. You will have wonderful memories to share.

  • Sophie is an outstanding host and only her character and friendliness tops the houseboat itself. If you're searching for something real individualistic and cozy in Paris this is the perfect place for you. Dimensions are huge! You can lay in the bath tub and watch through the bull's eye other ships passing by .... every time again!!!!

  • If you are in Paris to shop, then staying in a hotel near the main shopping district is a better choice. However if you are in Paris to experience a bit of the Parisian lifestyle, staying in a houseboat is uniquely French. Lovely houseboat with ample indoor and outdoor space. Host is kind and helpful.

Small and cosy barge of 22 m ( 72ft ) long, located in the historical heart of Paris , moored in front of Le Louvre on the opposite bank of the Seine, right down the « passerelle des Arts ». I have designed this boat myself from the bare hull of an old supply boat that I found thirty years ago in Amsterdam Harbour. I drew all the plans and built most parts of the barge's superstructures and interior fittings, always looking for a soft and smooth boat line as can be a trait of chinese calligraphy. The interior design reveal the delicate hull's curves, the fine decoration is based on pieces evoking some far journeys, as opposed to a standardizes one. In all weathers, the comfortable steering room will provide an amazing dream space with a panoramic view on the river Seine. The living space (40 m2) includes the steering room and the whole hold which is composed of an open space with a bed corner with a double bed ( 1,90 m x 1,40 m), kitchen, living and dining space and also a separate room with toilet and a shower. The barge is located in the historical and central district of Paris very close to : - national fine art school, art galleries and antique shops. - fashion design shops. - some well-known bookshops. From there you can walk to le Louvre, Beaubourg and Orsay museums, Notre Dame and la Sainte Chapelle ... or jog to Tuileries and Luxembourg gardens as well as the Seine banks. The barge is very close to : grocers, supermarket and bakeries. Many public transport facilities : - Metro stations : Louvre-Rivoli (Ligne 1), Pont Neuf (L 7), Odéon (L 4, 10) , Mabillon (L 10), Saint Michel (L 4), Saint-Germain-des-Prés (L 4). - Bateau bus ( shuttle boat service ) : 100m on the same bank. - RER : station Saint-Michel (to go to Versailles, Auvers sur Oise and Roissy airport). To conclude, this location should appeal to hosts really interested in the history of the city and not only in visiting the Eiffel tower and the Champs Elysées.
  • Pros: Location, location, location; possibly the best in all Paris! You can easily walk to many museums, bars and restaurants. Very romantic setting and furnished with great art. Has a wonderful vibe and it’s obvious it’s a home and not just a rental unit. Perfectly equipped with all the amenities one could ask for, except for AC. Fantastic hosts, you couldn’t ask for better! Rene and Francine greeted us and carried our extremely heavy luggage to and from the boat. They instructed us of their favorite restaurants and even made a reservation for us. Upon departure they arraigned for and met the taxi at 5:45 am. Basically it seemed like Rene was completely there for us. I left feeling like we made new friends. Cons: Unfortunately we were in Paris in one of its’ worst heat waves so without an AC and only one small fan it was very uncomfortable. I can tolerate a lot of heat but it was even too much for me and my partner who can’t tolerate heat well was miserable. A small AC unit would have made all the difference, and we would definitely give it five stars. With the windows open there’s a lot of noise from other tour boats passing by on the Seine. Once again a small AC unit would have made all the difference. Remember it's a boat and will sway from side to side with the waves. That didn't bother us at all. Getting on and off the boat requires some agility and might be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. STAY HERE if it's not going to be very hot!

    Bill2017-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Rene and Martin are excellent.they are warm and very polite and give you lots of helpful advice. The boat is comfortble with excellent view on museum louvre and la seine. Good memory

  • We just had a magical 4 days vacation on a love boat at the best Paris location, the boat is exactly as shown in pictures, on the Seine river, next to Pont Des Arts, the lovers bridge, across from the Louvre, there is no better spot in Paris than this boat. We were within minutes walk to Latin district, Norte Dame de Paris, The Louvre museum, all the galleries, shops and restaurants, it is the heart of everything Paris. You can just walk out and be back in minutes. This boat is on the cover of Paris books and posters, we saw it in the airport on a poster, this is a famous boat. Rene and Martine greeted us extremely warmly, helped us with our 2 big suitcases cross 2 boats and down into the cabin. They had everything ready, bread, coffee, tea, wine, books, directions, kitchen is fully stocked, everything work as they should; they are so nice and friendly, they are also global travelers, Rene also speaks Chinese and traveled to China 15 times, we talked for hours. All day along there are river cruise boats passing us, tourists waiving and taking pictures of us, you can return the gestures or just ignore them as a local fisherman, the boat does rock back and forth, but we had no problem with that, in fact, it is like a rocking chair, we were quite fond of the motion. There are 2 other boats inside, so we need to walk over those 2 boats to get in or out, it is quite easy and very authentic, it is exactly what you need to do if you live on a boat in Paris, and there are not many of them, very few houseboats in Paris, especially at this central spot, which according to Rene, not an easy task, took many years of hard efforts battling the City to stay at this golden spot. If you are seeking an once in a lifetime magical experience, and you are a special person with that sparkle of adventure and romance in you, this is an opportunity you cannot miss, it only happen once in a life.

    Miguel2015-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had an exceptional time on the boat. The boat itself was everything you would want for a romantic getaway. A 70 foot boat for two people looking across to the Louvre and the bridge, with padlocks from lovers hanging on it, was seemingly from a movie. The wheel house was a great place to wind down at the end of the day and a wonderful start to the day. Rene arrived one morning with yummy croissants!) We loved Paris, but the boat stole our hearts. Rene and Martine were the perfect hosts. They helped us with our luggage to and from the boat, helped with locations and headed us in the right direction for food and fun. They left their phone numbers with us and took care of us like family. Beautiful, beautiful experience. Thank you Rene and Martine!

    Susan2014-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a fabulous stay on the Soleil Rouge! The location could not be better, but most of all, Rene and Martine were incredibly gracious hosts, attentive and generous. Best hosts I've ever had with Airbnb. The boat was absolutely comfortable and the views cannot be beat. I will return here for sure.

    Georgia2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rene and Louise were very gracious, caring and hospitable; making us feel right at home and comfortable. The location was convenient to all of the main attractions, art district and metro stations. Plus we could walk the nearby backstreets to discover some of the local favors. Staying on the boat was truly unique and we hope to enjoy the experience again soon.

    Doug2013-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • I have to say that this was by far the best vacation experience we have ever had. My wife and I have traveled throughout Europe, but have never met such gracious hosts as Rene and Martine. The boat is exactly as described and shown in the photos - except it's actually better. It is an unbelievable experience to be moored on a boat across from the Louvre and Notre Dame! Again, by far the best experience we've had so far! The boat is spacious, convenient to everything, and in a safe location. Thanks again Rene and Martine!

    Leslie2015-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a special treat! René and Martine were welcoming and very helpful. They insisted on carrying our numerous and heavy pieces of luggage onto Soleil Rouge, which was a tremendous help. (In our defense, we had just come from working on a two week transatlantic cruise and then spent a week visiting relatives in the UK. We promise, next time. . .very limited luggage!) Once on board, we were given a great tour of Soleil Rouge, with necessary instructions on how to operate its plumbing system. Photos of the barge do not do it justice. She is even nicer in person. And so very immaculate. We literally could have eaten off the floor! Living on Soleil Rouge for four nights was a dream come true! The barge is situated in a spectacular spot on the Seine, across from the Louvre and adjacent to a footbridge crossing the river. We spent many hours relaxing in the pilot house, watching tourist boats and people busking on the bridge. We saw fire brigades and police boats going through maneuvers. At night, there was always music wafting through the open windows. Soleil Rouge is centrally located and was a wonderful place to live like a Parisian and still be a tourist! René and Martine were the perfect hosts. René came by each day to fill water tanks and make sure that everything was as it should be. However, the only sign we ever had of his visits was the surprise bag of freshly baked croissants and a nice note he left behind for us in the pilot house, a place previously agreed upon where we could leave notes for him and vice versa. What a great way to begin our first day in Paris on Soleil Rouge! As René knows, we are already thinking about when we can plan our next trip to Paris and his beautiful Soleil Rouge! (We promise to bring minimal suitcases!) Merci, René and Martine for your wonderful hospitality on beautiful Soleil Rouge!!! Until we meet again! Sandra & Richard

  • Ronan's boat is the perfect place to find a restful spot outside of Paris. We would recommend it to anyone. My wife, my 5 children and my parents all stayed on the boat and there was more than enough space. It is a very clean and nicely decorated boat on the inside. Our family only wished we had stayed longer because it was so nice. The only thing we would suggest is make sure you ask for clear directions as it was a little difficult to find the exact location where the boat was docked. I am sure Ronan can give you clear directions. When we come back to Paris we would definitely stay here again.

    Chris2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Location is good, quite and secluded. Appropriate for rest and relax. But bit difficult if travelling by public transport. Not recommended for senior with wheelchair especially.

    Felix2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Ronin was a very nice host. I suggest connecting with him early to get a good plan for getting to the boat. It is located within a gated campground so you will want to give yourself a little time to locate it properly. If possible, try to find it while there is daylight. Once there, it is a joy to stay there and live on the water. It is fun to watch the boats pass by and to swim in the channel. The kids were able to feed some ducks and some geese. Overall, it was a great stay.

  • We had a great visit to Ronan's boat in July. It is excellent and exactly as described. We arrived late at night and initially struggled to find the boat as it was dark but once we did it was perfect. Lovely and spacious. It was an easy walk to the train station and we got in to Paris centre with no problems. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay somewhere different! Thanks!

  • What am incredible trip! The boat is just amazing. My family of 7 had all the room we needed, but spent most of our time on the deck. My only advice is to wait for an email from Ronan with the correct address, to avoid being in the wrong location. Otherwise, enjoy!!

  • I thought spending a night on a boat would be romantic -I was wrong. while the boat is located in a good location, and Martine was inviting and friendly, we learned that she is actually living on it (went to sleep somewhere else to let us have it), and that she has a cat (that stayed there with us). The cat really annoyed me on two fronts. the first, we are lucky not to be allergic to cats. not knowing this in advance could have turned the stay into a nightmare even if she took the cat away. And the cat decided to shit at 3 am, and with her sand box being a meter away from the bedroom door - she woke us up... Other than that, the boat itself is in poor maintenance condition, from the floor being cracked at several locations (makes you feel a bit unsafe when walking on it) - but the real nasty kicker was finding out the toilet overflows when you use the bath..... !!!!

  • Quiet and nice houseboat in an out of the way neighborhood. Secure parking area. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Relaxing spot to spend an afternoon and perfect place to catch up on sleep after a long flight.

  • What a great place! We had a very good time, Marie-Laure and Mark were very welcoming and the suite was well set up for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids (2 years and 5 years)). It was close to everything and we walked EVERYWHERE! Love that the Jardin des Plantes was really only a 5 minute (maybe less) walk away. Highly recommended!

  • Marie-Laure was a friendly and helpful hostess, giving us directions to the Metro, which is right across the street. The location was perfect with lots of options all around us. She was always available if we had any questions and also left bread, butter, fruit, wine, milk and orange juice for us to enjoy. The space was charming, really spacious for a boat. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook. Shower had good pressure and I took a bath in the tub – lovely. Everything was really clean. The boat squeaks at night but she provides earplugs. Boats are all around you but plants provide some screening. Overall, we had a good experience. Thanks, Marie Laure!

  • The Nenuphar is a lovely boat, with very comfortable accommodations. We loved how it very gently rocked every time a boat passed on the Seine! Just enough to know you're on a boat, not enough to bother anyone.Getting aboard is a bit of a steep descent down the gangway, and can be entertaining if you have a large suitcase, so people who are not steady on their feet should plan very carefully. The interior is beautiful, just as pictured, with a lovely, light main room, a nice kitchen space, a lovely shower and tub in the aft, with plenty of (very) hot water. Beds and comforters were all very comfortable. There were guide books, DVDs, a TV and DVD play, and free wifi. A very reasonable walk from Jardin des Plants, and subway and train stations. This terrific boat has made our visit to Paris very special and memorable. We're so happy it was available the night we were there - wish we could have stayed longer.

  • This was a wonderful location for exploring Paris. It is fabulous to stay right on the Seine in the middle of Paris. Also, we didn’t know how close this was to the Gare D’Austerlitz, which was extremely convenient. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Marie-Laure.

  • The boat is really cute and a fun experience. I would not recommend sleeping there with young children as we did. What we didn't like was the communication with the owner. If that would be better it would be a good experience.
