  • This was a lovely get away for the weekend. The weather unexpectedly turned bad and we got to spend an entire day in the house. But with indoor fire places, indoor braai, great bar with games and darts, full facilities to prep supper there was nothing lacking! Really enjoyed the stay. Rooms were beautiful and spacious! Highly recommended.

  • What they see on pictures is exactly what they will find there. The warmth of the house, you really feel at home, and ohhh how can I forget the free access on WiFi

  • While we weren’t able to meet Lizel at check in, she ensured that arrangements were made for a key drop-off, and it went very smoothly. The house is massive, very clean, safe, and in a quiet residential neighborhood. We did drive to the main street for dinner/breakfast as it would be a bit of a walk, but that was fine for us. Great stopover if you’re going along the panorama route, and Graskop is a lovely little town. Note that it did get a bit chilly at night (winter season) but ample blankets on the bed seemed to do the trick! Perhaps should bring slippers next time.

    Robin2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lizel's place is lovely, the home is equiped with all you could need. The neighbourhood is quiet. Great for a weekend away from the busy city.

  • The cottage shares a garden with Chris's house, so there's a good change you'll meet him, his wife and/ or the dog. All 3 of them are very friendly and helpfull. The place itself is spacious (up to 5 people), well equipped. Although for us it could do with a little update, it is a place with a home-like feel to it

    Els2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very thoughtful host, kitchen is complete, huge garden with outdoor table/chairs, great location, safe, peaceful, relaxing, host offered local tips. Many rooms, good for couple or even a group of friends/big family.

Wooden cottage in the village of Graskop near God's Window + Kruger Park. 1 bedroom:1 double bed + 1 bedroom:2 single beds. Sleeper couch in lounge for smaller kids. Fully equipped self catering kitchen, secure parking, complimentary coffee+tea.
Our cottage is the perfect space to relax after a day of sightseeing in Paradise! Situated on the Panorama route in a Malaria free area only 55km from the Kruger National Park, and near to the Blyde River Canyon.
Graskop is a quiet town in the mountains, with clean air and crystal drinkable water straight from the tap. The village is safe to walk around in, with friendly locals.
  • Extremely helpful host and knows the place really well.. his suggestions made us trip even better ..

    Anoop2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lella and her family were most welcoming and kept in touch to arrange meeting at the cottage. The cottage was very cute and cosy and it was wonderful to be provided with some real filter coffee! Although we ended up not cooking any full meals as our stay was quite short, it was well equipped and the DVD collection was a thoughtful addition. The location is central and very convenient for exploring the area - just what we were looking for. Kevin was especially helpful to us on our departure when he arrived to find we had just discovered a flat tyre. He very happily took our tyre to be repaired on the house seeing as we had no cash with us - he could not have been nicer about it! Lovely hosts and thank you for a good stay.

    Bronwyn2016-03-27T00:00:00Z

  • Kevin‘s home is really cool and a nice and secure (house got an alarm) place to stay. Check-in and -out were easy. Lots of places for dinner and breakfast within walking distance of the house. Kevin is a very friendly guy who knows lots about Graskop and the surroundings. We can definitely recommend this accommodation!

My place is close to the city center. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. My cottage is on the Panorama route on the way to God's Window, The Pinnacle, Bourke's Luck Potholes, The Three Rondawels and The Blyde River Canyon to name but a few. It is a wonderful "home away from home".
  • Absolutely amazing stay, would highly recommend!

    Franzi2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Harries Cottage Graskop far exceeded my expectations. The place was well kept, very tidy and spacious with some great art pieces. It is also in a centralised location close to tourist attractions, restaurants, shops etc. I would definitely stay here again.

    Melanie2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our 2 night stay In Graskop! The check-in was so easy and Morne really went out of his way to make our stay even better! So often we have stayed in AirBnb places and they don't provide tea/coffee which they not only provide in abundance but also things like Panado, night light, mosquito oil etc Morne's restaurant recommendations were fantastic!! We would highly recommended this accommodation! Morne really understands hospitality as opposed to someone who just decides to put their house on AirBnb. Harries pancakes owns the property and is great place for breakfast! There are lots of beautiful things to do in the area like the Pinnacle, Berlin Falls, Three Rondavels, Bourkes Luck Pot Holes! Plus Long Tom pass is a beautiful road to drive however avoid getting there via the R36 as the road is in poor condition however there are alternative routes which Morne gave us which was fantastic!!

    Chris2018-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Ideally located between Panorama Route and Kruger Park. Very friendly host, very clean, very stylish, complete kitchen utensils, very, very.. to wrap it up, great place!

    Christ2018-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay.

    Carina2018-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • If more stars were an option, I would give more. Words cannot describe how pleased we were with our stay. The level of hospitality (right down to the plug converters) was way beyond what we expected and although we were only there for one night, we truly felt like we were at a home away from home. The place was absolutely spotless; the picking up the keys and directions to the place was easy; the quality of the accommodations was top notch; and the friendly cat in the yard was an absolute bonus for our kids. Graskop as a whole is not an area to be missed and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if anyone is in the area or stopping along the Panorama Route.

    Ian2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • An absolute gem of a place to stay. The place is very well kept with everything you could possibly want and is very secure. There are heaters and an electric blanket too which were invaluable for the South African winter! The hosts their staff were easy to get hold of any very accommodating. The place is like the photos - if anything they don't do it justice as it's far bigger than it appears.

The quaint secluded single self-catering chalet is constructed in an open plan configuration (room / kitchenette, closed bathroom and loft floor) with a thatch and tile roof. It has a rustic ambiance providing cozy accommodation for a couple or a family of 4 (ideally 2 adults and 2 children), maximum 4 people sharing.
The chalet's central location to the Panorama Region offers guests the ideal base from where to explore and experience the many well known scenic and historic attractions of the area. The establishment in its tranquil setting in a large garden with lawn, surrounded by the natural wild forest, is ideal for a relaxing and refreshing break-away from a busy schedule. It accommodates 2 on a double bed and another 2 on two single mattresses that are placed on a small loft floor / attic room above the main room (accessible by a ladder - ideal and great fun for kids). The chalet is for self-catering guests. The kitchenette is equipped with most of the basic cooking facilities and utensils, crockery, cutlery, a mini-fridge, a 2-plate mini-stove and microwave oven. A small quantity of coffee, tea and sugar is provided. A portable grid outside is also available for a "braai" / barbecue. The bathroom has a bath, basin and toilet. • Very nice cottage in a beautiful garden ! In winter period its not so warm but we find all the covers we need to spend a good night. Thanks for the welcoming !

    François2018-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Dan's place is a lovely little cottage just outside Graskop. It is about a 15min from God's Window, and 30min from the Bourke's Luck Potholes. It contains all the essentials for a comfortable stay and is in a secluded region in nature.

    Adil2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay at the little cottage close to Graskop. We didn't get to know Dan, but the lady living on the property had the keys for us and even made some delicious little cakes as a welcome gift. The cottage itself is quite old, what you can actually smell. Nevertheless it's a place worth a visit, very calm and located in nature as well as close to Graskop.

    Deyke2018-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Dan and Jackie (Dan’s mum) are amazing hosts. Their place is so cosy and beautiful with a view I don’t mind waking up to for the rest of my life. We even had some monkeys playing in the backyard in our first day there. When we first checked in, Jackie even had some delicious scones ready for us. And (Website hidden by Airbnb) just so amazing and helpful. He hooked us up with a guide to KNP, who is so insightful, it made our trip to KNP an even more fulfilling one.

It is a great place to go explore the panoramic route. If you stay here you must go to gods window, pinnacle rock, swim at Lisbon falls, Byld river canyon, three rondavels, go for luck at potluck boskombuis (this is a great lunch spot), potholes and explore the town on pilgramsrest and have a drink at the royal hotel. Most beautiful part of SA

  • Atella is a perfect and adorable host. The only problem was that we thought to book a room just outside Lydenburgh and it is 28 km far away. Apart from that Atella made her best in chrcking in, and she has been lovely in the morning providing us a bowl of fresh fruit with yoghurt and muesli. If the location is suitable for your trip I definitely recommend it.

  • Molly's Cottage is cute and quaint, such a lovely space to explore Graskop from. It was central to most attractions in MP. The garden was amazing, one could certainly get lost in its beauty. The daily cleaning service was such a blessing. Overall such a wonderful stay and we will certainly return to it when next in MP.

  • Four of us had a really enjoyable 4 nights in Mollys Cottage. Comfy beds and good shower. We liked the fully equipped kitchen and we used the braai twice. Enormous verandah and wonderfully jungly garden. We used the house to explore Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrims Rest and the waterfalls round Sabie.

    David2017-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place and Auke is very helpful, would love to come back. Perfect stay on Graskop.

    Brett2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Auke’s place in Graskop, a comfortable and spacious cottage in a fantastic garden (it’s hard to do it justice – almost like a mini exotic forest and a lovely setting for a braai). The cottage had all we needed when we wanted to cook or just relax, but was within easy walking distance to the central part of town and restaurants and shops. Graskop has a friendly, tranquil atmosphere, and felt refreshingly safe. It's very well situated to see the Blyde River Canyon (stupendous views and random charges). Plenty of outdoor activities are in easy reach if you’re driving. And a bonus is that Kruger Park's not so far either (it took us about an hour to get there). Auke was an incredibly welcoming and accommodating host. It was a pleasure to get to know him – you couldn’t meet a nicer man. He went out of his way to give us information and to check in on us (he and his family live in the house next door) and really made our stay memorable. For a visit to the beautiful Mpumulanga escarpment, I can't recommend Auke's place highly enough!

  • If anyone is visiting Sabie, I will definitely recommend to stay at Werner’s place. Serene views, safe locality, superb accommodation with homely feeling and full of positive vibes are some of the main features which you will find there. All major tourist attractions are located just a few kilometers away. And the bonus is Werner has a tie up with a restaurant which is just 2 kms away from the accommodation and you get 10% discount by just informing at the restaurant that you are staying at Werner’s place. Cool na !! So without hesitating feel free to book this accommodation to make your trip a memorable one.

  • Great place, go to the recommended restaurant.

  • I can't wait to return to Werner's place. There were 5 of us who wanted to explore the Panorama Route. Gert gave us some good tips for the weekend that we were there. The home was very comfortable (a little cold in the Southern Hemisphere winter but they gave us heaters) and the best part was the front yard overlooking the hills and watching the sunset. The location can't be beat since it's only a short drive to "downtown" where all the restaurants and shops are. I can't wait to go back to do some hiking in Graskop.

  • Had a lovely time at this house

    Jebby2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful home in a great location for visiting the panaroma route. A gorgeous part of the country. The house was spacious and perfect for a family and everything you needed was there. Graskop as an area gets much colder than expected so the heaters were used a lot! Werner was a brilliant host, going out of his way to help us with information about the area and answering the many questions I had before booking and when we were there with regards to what we can do. A wonderful stay and a brilliant host.

  • It was a nice and spacious house, quiet with a beautiful view. We did not get to meet Werner, but that was no problem for our stay. It fitted our needs perfectly.

    Jet2017-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Werners’ dad made us feel very welcome. When we heard an irritating sound from the alarm system he immediately sent an electrician to fix it. This house is very convenient if you want somewhere to stay the night, spending the days outside (as we did), since the interior is not very cosy, and the kitchen is very small (like a camping caravan) but it is very clean, which we appreciated very much.

    Karin2017-11-26T00:00:00Z

  • The house is spacious and very clean. Very well situated to visit all the spot in the area. Werner is a very nice host, he gave us a lot of information about what to see all around.

  • Very nice and spacious place. Werner is a very friendly host. Would definitely come back in future and strongly recommend his place.

    Leon2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • We were very happy with the house with the awesome view. Location is great for sightseeing, and it was very clean. We were unfortunate with the weather, having an unusually heavy storm. Our luggages were soaked through on the journey and the house also flooded through. Fortunately Werner immediately came to the rescue both times!

    Su Mei2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • My family of 6 recently stayed at the home in Graskop. It was very clean and had all of the necessities you would expect. Werner was very quick with his responses to me and if we needed him he was at the house within a few minutes! We stayed during Winter but the fireplace, extra blankets and heaters provided in each bedroom were able to keep the cold at bay. We received complimentary fruit and fruit juice which was a nice touch too! The house was big enough for my family to enjoy ourselves comfortably having spacious bedrooms, ample cupboard space, a dining area with table and chairs, and two sitting areas, one with a tv and one with a fireplace. On the warmer nights we had braais on the big patio outside as there was a built in braai area and extra portable braai available to use. The cleaning lady, Lindiwe, was very friendly and she cleaned very quickly. Werner was a wonderful host. The townspeople we met at the shops or at the pub/restaurant were friendly and made us feel welcome. Even the next door neighbours to the house were friendly and offered advice on what to see and do while on our stay. We would definitely come again!

  • Werner is a great host. Always available for questions. The house was clean and spacious and located nearby the center of graskop.

  • Perfect, a little cold (winter).

    Olivier2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is well located if you want to visit the panorama route. Communication with Werner worked well. If you just stay there to pass the nights it's fine, but for the rest it rather reminded us of a prison-style accomodation. No decoration at all & old furniture. Beds were ok to sleep. One bathroom only has a bathtub and no shower.

    René2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Although not fancy, it has everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. Furthermore, it is well located especially if you plan to see the different attractions along the blyde river canyon. Werners hospitality was really good, as we had no problems at all to arrive and to leave.

Linga Longa Guesthouse is situated in the beautiful town of Graskop, Mpumalanga. The house is surrounded with the breath taking mountains and escarpment. Most sceneries are in a radius of 50 km's, e.g. God's Window, Pilgrim's Rest etc.
  • If you're looking for a luxurious place, go to a hotel, but if you're looking for a warm, cozy and homely house, this is it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially when we were accompanied with the beautiful view seen from the balcony. I did not meet Jakes in person but his thoughtfulness was obvious in the little chocolates on our beds and the fire wood and charcoal that were prepared. He's quick to respond to our queries and always with kindness. Thank you Jakes!

    Marian2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic guest house! Extremely well furnished on the insides with an incredible porch, garden, and plenty of space in the back for barbecue. Watching the sunset and then stargazing on the porch was a highlight of my entire trip! Jakes was a responsive owner, and employs a security guy who comes by for checkin and checkout (takes about 15min so schedule accordingly). Would gladly stay the next time I come back

    Julius2016-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • It ' a nice place, but over all its to expensive (no wifi, not clean) and host cannt really help, when there is a problem. We wouldn`t come back.

    Claudia2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at the Lingo Longa Guesthouse. The view from the deck is amazing! The house is well kept and homey. You can see they are doing some remolding as well but it was not an eyesore. Over all this place felt like home even on our overnight stay. I would recommend staying here. You can't get a better view anywhere else. The neighborhood was lovely. The only draw back is the parking as it is quite tight!

    Liz2016-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is a pleasantly located home, with a wonderful view on the edge of Graskop, but within minutes of shops and restuarants. The bedrooms were rather cramped, and bathrooms/showers small, but the other areas were ample, well equipped, and perfect for self-catering.

    Fred2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were very helpful and king, they responded quickly to our emails and call. The house was comfortable and the view was great.

    Noam2016-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • First; The house itself is perfect! Very cozy, beautifull, big and lovely view! But it's not hygenic..used catfood in a cupboard under the sink, ants in the bathroom and tub, lots of moulding, broken tiles..Felt very dirty and with ants in the bathtub you can't clean up yourself. We also didn't receive the alarmcode so we couldn't leave the house. No one told where the alarm unit actually was. The gate was stuck, so we were locked in. After 2 hours we received help but we missed the whole sunset (main reason why we rented this house). So we hate to say it but we can't give a good (Website hidden by Airbnb) was just too much of everything. Ee have lots of airbnb experienced and are very easy going, but renters should give the quests a more hygenic house than this. Again..the house itself is lovely and has lots, lots of potential..

  • lovely location, it was very cold however, and the sofa's were old and broken.

    Eva2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge is centrally situated, so getting to gods window, pinnacle rock, Lisbon falls etc etc was very easy. There is a spar close by, so getting all the groceries for self catering was convenient. We had a unit close to the stream, which lead into the waterfall. While the waterfall was not visible from the unit, a walk within the premises took you to the bottom of the waterfall. The unit was serviced everyday. It had everything we needed.

  • The accommodation prepared everything to cook for yourself and it is beautiful to sit outside in the morning in the backyard with the sun and in the evening in the front with a nice braai. But I would recommend to bring extra clothes or to buy wood to heaten the chalet, it got pretty cold in the evening ( April). And the Wifi is not accessable in the chalets.

Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is a four star self-catering resort situated at the top of Robber's Pass, on the historic old road to Pilgrim's Rest; a picturesque resort situated within 2 400 hectares of pristine countryside. With mystical forests, breath-taking views and the sounds of nature all around you, the magic of Crystal Springs is yours to discover. Birdlife is plentiful and wild animals such as zebra, giraffe, jackal and antelope inhabit the nature reserve.
  • We had a wonderful stay here with plenty to do between the pools and games and walking trials. The indoor fire was real treat and the view was fantastic. It would have helped with the arrival at the gate and check in if we had printed out the registration form from TradeUnipoint (I don't think that we were sent one) but the helpful staff soon sorted the booking out. We would love to return - thank you!

  • Fantastic scenery and view from the unit. A great spot for families (lots of activities to take part in). Couples though should probably be aware that each unit is not as secluded as the photos suggest. It’s not difficult to hear the goings on of your neighbors (who you are right next door to).

Lovely large holiday home in the heart of Graskop.
  • The house was just as it looks in the pictures. Well equipped and very clean and well kept. We had a lovely stay there. Great location very close to the market. Werner and his father was very helpful for us and was there to meet us upon arrival. Great locations, great house !
