“Most popular restaurant and pub in town. Very popular among students and the younger crowed, but anyone is welcome. ”

“A great menu selection to cater for all tastes. Saint's has an easy, relaxed atmosphere with local craft beer on tap and a good selection of local wines. The beer garden at the back can get lively during summer evenings and is a popular hangout. The main restaurant area is light and airy and you shouldn't need to book in order to get a table to enjoy good food and occasionally live bands. ”

“This garden is on Rhodes University property and is well maintained and secure. It has lovely benches and short walking/jogging trails for guests to enjoy. Once you leave the gates there is a lovely coffee shop you could visit, set in the old prison. It serves great coffees, creative muffins and Ciabattas. ”

Food
“Fusion is a small shop located between KFC and Mr Price Home in the Pepper Grove Mall. They have a wonderful selection of freshly baked bread (daily), local cheeses, sliced meats and fresh fish as well as a fridge/freezer area where you can buy free range meat, smoked salmon, fresh herbs, locally made ice cream etc. They also supply local free range eggs and a daily selection of pastries baked in house”

“This restaurant in a gust house is perfect for those that enjoy a quiet dinner with their loved one or a special dinner. The guest house has an olden day feel with some antique feel. They serve only a few but well made meals. We ate there for out anniversary and enjoyed it very much. The prices are very competitive too. The only slight negative is that it is in not the most popular side of town.”
