“The Burrell is a lovely collection of objects, housed in a beautiful building, set amidst lovely woodland and parkland. It's a bit difficult to get to from the West End, but it's worth it. If the weather's good it's worth also spending time in the surrounding Pollok Country Park.”

“This is my favourite Brunch spot, always a go to when friends are in town. Best of all its walking distance from the flat! My favourite thing to get is the eggs royal with a spicy tomato juice! They are open for Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch and Dinner.”

Coffee Shop
“This is a great spot for getting a very good cup of coffee & getting some work done. Artisan Roast is an Edinburgh company that roasts their own beans and really is excellent quality (you can buy a bag as well and make it at home!). They also have EXCELLENT and fast WIFI. Most people in the cafe are students and professors who are hard at work on their laptops. It can get a bit crowded in there but the cafe also has a loft space and generally you can find a spot if you are willing to wait just a short time (or if you ask someone if you can share a table--most people are willing). ”

“Wonderful coffeeshop in Hillhead with delicious, healthy food options and delicious coffee that is without a doubt one of the best in the whole city. The team running the shop are also very warm and hospitable. It is an overall lovely experience! This spot is also just minutes away from my flat! ”
